Love tracking my Goals. Easy to track. I need to set a reminder to track it daily considering have 3 apps. It would be nice if a goal tracking link would pop up when you opened the app. Some times, I experience technical issues with the app and have to log out or navigate through other screens to get what I want. The red border comes up and I just log out. But that’s not often. Will continue to use this to improve my health and view my insurance information as long as it exists!

This app made life easier. My husband and I had to travel while he needed wound care that required a specialist. I was able to find covered specialist in every state we had to travel to. At first I didn’t trust it so I kept calling customer service, who we’re always pleasant and helpful, and realized I could trust the information on the site. The site was comprehensive and easy to use and the result was excellent care with no surprise costs. I’ve been using it for years and I love it.

Great Concept - Difficult At Times. I love having this app. Lately I have had issues. I get messages from Fepblue that I have a new EOB for viewing. I get to the website and it tells me there are no new EOBs even though it shows in the bar above I have 2, but that never changes. Eventually my EOB will show up, but not as quickly as in the beginning. I also am not able to log in anymore with fingerprint on my iPad although it still works on my iPhone. Just a few issues, but I really like having an app for Fepblue. Maybe just look into a few things.

Decent at best... I’ve had BCBS for years now and the insurance itself I’ve had no real issues with as of yet. This app however is dog crap and needs to go where that does. The fingerprint ID has never worked. Every year I do the incentives and halfway through like clockwork something happens and my data mysteriously disappears?! Had $90 on my way to $130 this time and poof, gone from the system! They are always able to remedy the situation for me when I call, but as I just read another reviewer write, this is not a difficult app to write and it hasn’t changed in the last several years. Get the bugs out already. I’m currently unable to log my incentive data and therefore failing at my goals so BCBS will need to credit me the days I’ve missed due to their app’s errors.

No Claim Data For Minths. The Fepblue app is fatally flawed in tiles respec. (1) The app has not displayed claims data for months. Multiple reviews have highlighted this problem. I sent several emails to alert the developer of the problem, and I have updated the app several times. No response and no fix. (2) Fepblue does not provide you with a convenient way to submit claims through the app. Instead the company requires you to mail claims so that they can be processed and scanned upon receipt. The sole purpose for this approach is to delay payment of claims. Anyone who downloads the app could use the app to complete the claim form online and upload the form filled out by the physician. That would be efficient, save time and paper, and enhance customer service.

Not easy to review and manage provider information. A large part of my dissatisfaction was the two hours it took to register in order to get into the APP because the insurer continued to input an outdated email that I changed five years ago. Next was the sadistic form filling process that froze up occasionally and the unforgettable read 100 pages before you can click agree, and move on. I hope after all this the APP will be useful and easier to use and view my health information.

It does the job. I have used this app for years now to earn incentives for care. The Covid shot record upload took 1 minute to accomplish, I expected a frustrating time but it was easy. The EOB page is new to me and it was easy to read. I had surgery and hospital bills are excruciating because it is not one bill it is 5-10 separate bills. All were there and easy for me to follow. Incentive balance is displayed on top where it belongs. Ways to add is also on that tab. The app works but not always seamless.

Choosing providers. Being able to locate all the providers in a specific or generic fields gives you the easier options of comparing one doctor to another or several between the reviews for each doctor, between the distance of home to the treatment centers,Where they were certified education it’s all in one place and it just makes it so easy to just go to one webpage and have all the information you need right there

Good app. So far so good, I was prompted to give it a rating less than five minutes in to using it so I guess you know the value of those stars I gave it at this point. We shall see how it goes from here...tbc.... I find the app very useful after having used it now for almost a year. It does direct you to the website for certain access to parts of your account for security but I don’t mind that since it is keeping my PII safe. Update.. i’ve now use this app for well over one year going on 2...it’s very helpful in finding care. It’s also very helpful and links you to the website to your online health coach in order to earn more incentive monies for use on prescriptions and health care products. Due to the incentives that I have her I was pretty much able to get my prescriptions for the entire year free! If there’s not some glitches within the app and sometimes it loses your fingerprint for account access. But they stay up to date and rolling out application updates and as long as you have your update set to automatically enable then you should have minimal issues with this app I highly recommend it.

No real functionality yet.. I was hoping all of my medical information would be easily accessible including my personal health record and EOBs. I was wrong. You can get an electronic insurance card which you can add to apple passes but other than that not very useful. You would think they would at least throw in the link for the overseas telehealth consults they are running a pilot program on. That may have been interesting enough, but they only give you the nurses line. I would have waited to come out with the app after having more functionality. I hope they are working on that expeditiously or copying it from other Blue's that already have this.

Waste of time. Well, I still don’t have a log in because the “customer service” number never gave me an option for a pin. I had to sit through all the “call 911 “ crap, then they wanted to tell me all about the flue shot and blood pressure monitor. Never did I get the option for a pin to log in just to view my stinking plan and doctor list-I imagine they must have top secret information in the plan if you have to jump through so many hoops to view a doctor list. So I will waste my time and the time of the phone people and call and ask for my long list of doctors available to me, complete with addresses and phone numbers. A normal people would be able to log in with their member number and create a profile. Whoever made this log in process is a complete moron!

Helps with communication. This app helps with communication when you need to get a problem taken care of. By sending an email ahead of time you let the person know of your problem before you talk to someone. Then the person that calls you back has had time to check into your problem and help get it resolved faster. You don’t feel as if you have to make a lot if phone calls to resolve a problem. Will keep you updated.

Easy to use. This app is surprisingly easy to use and is extremely user friendly!! My favorite feature is the ability to search for physicians in my area by category. This feature also provides you with testimonials of other clients so you can read reviews about each clinician before contacting them. This was extremely helpful for us because my husband and I just moved to a new area and needed to establish new physicians. Overall best health insurance app/assistance we’ve ever had!

BC/BS FEP. I recently moved from one state to another. I was, and still am in the position of having to find a variety of new doctors. I use this app to find participating physicians that are taking new patients and accept Medicare. I have actually been told that I was to old to be accepted to their practice. One glitch I have run into is that, when looking for a doctor in my vicinity, the app automatically has me located in New Jersey. I enter my information; however, the app continues to locate me in New Jersey. The steps need to change my location are not clear and I need to figure it out each time I log in to find a doctor. I also track the information that’s being added to my account. I have found it very helpful figuring out what services are being reported to my two insurance companies ... BCBS FEP & Medicare.

As terrible as the website. I signed in to the app the way I always do: same user name and password. Only today I’m told that they are incorrect. Oh. So I signed directly to the website via Safari - same user name and password, mind you. No problem. Got right in. And every time I sign in either way, I get the verification thing : your device is verified for the next 4 months - until tomorrow when I have to do the same thing all over again. And now it wants me to verify my personal information, only I am given no way to do this, except to send them an email telling them that all information is correct. Look: first fix your ridiculously terrible website, then write an app. And get a real web builder to do it for you. Don’t do this yourself. Just improve your health care business. That is passable.

Seal. It would be so much more practical if the claims would automatically be connected to the BCBS data base. The customer should not have to send in EOB’s that are be in our file. It takes too much time to await the EOB transmissions. It could be a 5 star program with not much of a programming effort. Maybe even a link with the local drug stores too. The site keeps me aware of my exercise progress at least for the first half of the year. Still it is a very good incentive for good health practices as I rarely need medical attention at 66 years of age. Thank you.

Getting started and Face ID issues. It seems like they don’t even want you to get this app. Trying to set up the wellness card is like pulling teeth. They want to know your last service build. I couldn’t remember so I had to call in to get things set up. You should be able to put in your member ID and website password to get it to go but that’s not the case. Try to get my wife to sign up to get the wellness card and she got so frustrated she gave up. Then when I first got the app, the Face ID worked fine. As I started to get closer with my incentives and adding money to my card, the Face ID stopped working. I’ve tried to reset it multiple times and can’t get it to work. Now I have to login with my password each time.

Horrible for tracking claims (2023 is So Much Better!). I had to rate it 1 star to write a review but it really should be 0. I had hoped by now that the app would work smoothly since the beta version several years ago. I was wrong. I need to see my claims easily. I can’t even see 2019 claims. There doesn’t seem to be anyone to reach out to on this subject. All of the contacts are for insurance or medical help and not for the app. So it’s 5/23 and the app is so much better. I can easily find claims. Would like to submit a retail pharmacy claim but I haven’t figured that out yet. I was told to go here then choose this and then that but haven’t found the here yet! I will still give it 4 stars for the great improvement over the last 4 years though.

Inaccurate Question Follow Up. As a medical professional I find the questions To general . There is no place to expand on your answers. Asthma is not going to change but is managed, I’m a Dr. what do you actually think a nurse /coach would have the education to manage it! I have ADD it is in my profile, the medical reasons behind have been treated for 30 years under a Physician trained in adult ADD. You do not know any history. Vaccination’s considering I am retired DOD given most while in service you have no record! As far as MS, I know there is no one other than a MS Specialist that should be giving any advise. Considering I’m 64 I believe my BP , weight, activity level, and lipid profile are above average for anyone my age. You pay an Insurance Actuary only to benefit your existence . So you group people rather than treating each patient individually. If insurance would quit trying to practice medicine and let Doctors treat patients correctly the first time you’d see less claims. Making patients go through try this first , then if you fail we’ll ok what you need. I’ve practiced and worked for Insurance. I’ve had to correct more bad NP and PA’s That don’t know their drugs or how to read labs .

Paula Harvey. I love this site and use it frequently. I’m not sure how to use the part of the assessment for the keeping track of weight and diet. I can’t figure it out at all but I do get a quick response when I ask questions and when I call and ask questions the last guy that helped me was very thorough and took time to discuss all my questions and more. I really appreciated the time he spent with me on the phone and how caring he was. Very good experience! I am very grateful to him.

Needs More Work. So our mail order pharmacy advises me I no longer have access to their App or website. According to them, I have to go through the FEP Blue App. Gee! Looks like someone could have told us before we got locked out. Now, I have to use this poor excuse for a website. It doesn’t even give option for pharmacy half the time unless you keep logging out and back in. By the way, don’t hit home and think you will see it. Nope! They want us to be electronic, but only keep two years of EOBs. I am afraid to think what might happen to our pharmacy records. Then if we have to deal with customer, no service, CVS Caremark, we will get no where. I tried to order via phone due to my inability to access CVS Caremark’s website and they could not even get the medications correct.

Can’t access claims— Fails 100% of time. I opted for e-delivery of my claims to save the planet and prevent clutter. Since BCBS doesn’t actually deliver claims to my inbox and simply sends an email for me to logon to check a new claim that’s been processed, I have to log on regularly to view claims for my entire family. For months now, within the app anytime I tap on Claims I get an error that says "Try Again". I’ve tried repeatedly and it simply Doesn't work. It used to work at one point, but not anymore. What’s the point of having the app if I can't quickly check on claims. Then I have to logon online, which is a pain in the *** because I have to go through security verification EVERY SINGLE TIME (even though it says I’m verified for 4 months each time!). Very disappointing!

Ain't good. Compared to my last health insurance Apps and website (Aetna) this is garbage. It is slow and doesn't show everything in the claims the explanation especially the apps got very limited information. Also in apps it doesn't even show the pharmacy claims. Both apps and websites when you try to find the price of procedures the apps and websites will just log you off and don't give you an option. Ridiculous app and website just like the coverage it doesn't cover the xrays and other test but in their catalog and the opm- government f federal website it shows you just pay 15 percent but they don't do that. I will be back to Aetna next year which I just pay 20 percent for MRI and don't pay for xray. Corrupt BSBC federal employee program.

This is awesome. I never gave tine to do things to really help me with perks. I stay so tired and never feel well. I’m going to try my best to do this. It would help me. Upon calling BSBS, a vet nice young lady informed me I could set up an acct for my husband as well. Thank you Jennifer ( CSR) I had no clue. BCBS has been so good to us I Praise God for having this Ins. Although I’m scared my annuity per month I only get .15 cents. I had to change my Ins. Benefits last year. I’m scared as to what might happen to us next year. I’ll be 61 in November of 2021. My Husband is 67 so his Primary is Medicare. We are so Thankful to God we have Ins. We are Blessed , but I am scared. I hope someone can work with me next year we just Can’t lose our Ins. God Bless you. 🙏🤗

Great start. This is a great beginning. I now can have my insurance card with me at all times on my phone as well as having the ability to share it with providers. Another great feature is being able to find an urgent care wherever I am using my location. This also applies to providers. And if I do not think it is to serious, I have the nurses line quickly accessible. I will keep making recommendations to add other great features as others have commented, but I am glad they got this out there sooner rather than continue making us wait. That is what updates are for.

Cannot ‘agree’ to terms so cannot get in. I spent WAY too much time going through the endless terms and conditions, noting the instruction to ‘scroll to the end and select Agee’. The problem is, there is no place to select anything. Going back to the user/password login showing the box for ‘Agree’ just keeps taking me back to the 5 million word legal mumbijumbo that all these apps have. The box will NOT allow me to check it. So, I cannot access my data. Thinking using this app might resolve it, but no it does not. Due to a ‘security issue’ I am required to logon via the website and go through the entire process again and again. I give up. I reset the account twice because the site demanded it. Now I am willing to check the box, since there is really no option if I want to see my own data. And I know that means that the fact that this is a worthless website, and a worthless app is all my responsibility, and that BCBS shall be completely irresponsible for any problems arising from my attempted or actual use of the site or the app. In any case, I do hope they decide to fix this mess anyway, as I have no way to do so myself and I do need access to my health data.

Ginger from Nurseline. Ginger from nurse-line helped me so much, she listened to me carefully, asked important questions, answered my questions, and told me to go directly to the ER— which is where I needed to be. I am so thankful to have someone so nice to call, I was scared, and I couldn’t get anyone else on the phone for assistance, thank you Ginger!! The scary thing is how difficult it is to actually speak to someone at a hospital or dr office when the on-call dr is unresponsive. I was experiencing severe vertigo and vomiting and did not want to go anywhere unless necessary as I was alone, unwell, and dreading having to move, given my condition. As a normally very healthy person I will be forever grateful for the care and concern Ginger and the BCBC nurse-line and app provided — I could only use the app and press the button to auto call because my head was spinning way too much to read or stand and locate paperwork/phone numbers—- you really never know when you may need help and a real live person to speak to helped me understand I needed medical attention immediately. Thank you again!

Nothing but a clunky web browser. It is nothing but a clunky web browser. It looks like and works similar to the web site, but is in its own difficult to use and limited package. It is difficult to search for providers. It never knows where I live, even though it has my address set in my account info. Whenever I search I have to reset where I am located, or it will search a 25 mile radius around some new random city throughout the US. Then after finding a possible provider, there is no way to save the provider for easy reference and I have to remember exactly how I found the provider last time so I can search for them again. In the menu of the search feature, it says there is a” Favorites” section, but I can not find anywhere to save a provider as a favorite. When I click on “Favorites” in the menu, it tells me to click on the “Favorite” button, but there is no “Favorite” button to be found. This restricted web browser is not an app and is not useful. It has been an exercise in both patience and frustration.

A fairly intuitive and easy-to-navigate app!. I got turned onto this app by one of the customer service techs when I called BCBS. She mentioned that I could check on the status of my requests and claims easily and instantly through the app, and she was not wrong. I have to admit being impressed at how quickly and easily I was able to walk through the interface and option menus, and the set-up is pretty idiotproof, too. Nice effort!

Easy to Use App. The fepblue app has been easy to use and supplies a lot of information. Easy and safe access to my account and health information has been helpful. Unfortunately there are a few problems. The fingerprint signin on my iPhone still errors out. I have to enter password every time. Glad to see that Claims are viewable from within the app without having to go through misc options in order to access the claim records.

No logic to search results near Harwich, MA. Just looking for some info about urgent care nearby. At no time during multiple searches did the Fontaine medical center in Harwich, affiliated with Cape Cod Hospital, show up even though it is close to my location. Also, no CVS locations with a nurse practitioner onsite are showing up either. Is this because there aren’t any? That is difficult to believe since CVS offers these services at so many locations. This area is truly underserved or not showing care that IS available on the app.

Nice layout, ish functionality. The layout of the app is very easy to navigate, which is nice. If you’re looking for only basic info, this is a great resource. However, trying to use it to find doctors within your coverage is a nightmare: the filters don’t cover every speciality, they’re slow and return sometimes-irrelevant results, and the “accepts new patients” filter is useless. I’ve spent all morning calling doctors who are supposedly accepting new patients, and not a single one actually is. I’d recommend the devs remove filters that don’t have routinely updated data, but the overall layout and interaction of the app is great.

Easy to use app that’s functional. This app helps you track your health goals, gives you resources, and helps keep you accountable for you to meet your goals. You can set up reminders and earn cash on your wellness card which I used for exercise and stretching classes I take. You can document how you’re doing along the way as well! I have a dietitian whom I consult with and the app allows you to ask questions and receive personalized help as well. It’s an easy app to use. I have made extremely positive changes in my overall health and well-being because of the app! It is a win-win app!

Anthem helps keep me healthy. I have Anthem insurance and use the app daily. I must admit I am hooked on earning the cash rewards, and really enjoy using them for my copays when I go to the pharmacy and the doctor. More important, however, is accessing health benefits that are available to me that I wouldn’t have known about. I have been enrolled in a weight loss program, losing 12 pounds, while getting a free scale and Fitbit, plus active coaching and program monitoring. I received a free blood pressure monitor, that helps me keep track of my health. I have had physical therapy sessions that I didn’t know were covered, and have had other benefits that were for the purpose of keeping me healthy instead of helping me recover from being sick. Anthem is a great insurance company, and I appreciate all that it does for me and my family. I like staying well, instead of recovering.

Huge waste of time and space. About all the app does is allow you to see how much you’ve paid out of pocket and the information on your FEPBlue ID card. I think BCBS has spent too much time “working” with the Federal Government. Promised a lot, spent a lot, delivered very little but promises to make it better in the future. Example, if you try to search for a provider all it does is send the data over to Safari which then puts you onto a 3rd party website. Worse yet, you can’t scroll or move the screen once it retrieves results. If you do the same search yourself directly in Safari, the website works fine. Also, no way to retrieve claim history without going to the FEPBlue website - again, you have to leave the app and go through Safari directly.

I’m Loving the FEPBLUE App!. It makes checking in ever day much easier than going directly to the website. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because when I’m unable to access the Online Health Coach because of reasons I cannot control (system down; my internet is down; I’m at a place where I do not have phone service, etc) it would give me peace of mind that I can retroactively record my progress for that day. I do not expect to have this feature for the days I inadvertently miss. Other than this suggestion, I’m loving the app!

Good App with Room for Improvement. The app works great, but many of the features open up a web page and you end up using the FEP Blue website within the app. For instance, “finding a provider” and “managing health goals/incentives” are two of the features I use most. These features should be totally app based and not result in the app opening the web page, which is slow. Also, the app allows you to add your insurance card to Apple Wallet, but the digital card does not show the contact information that is on the back of the physical card, it would be nice if there was a way to incorporate this to the digital card since most medical facilities need those phone numbers.

Useful, Efficient, Great Resource. You gain access to health coach, other resources, free blood pressure monitor if hbp, and incentive discounts you can use towards medical costs of several hundred dollars, by filling out health surveys and following health goals specific to you. Get rest time access to status of health claims. They do need to have better communication about how to submit claim for non- preferred providers, or providers location outside of where you reside, as I have been given inaccurate PO Boxes for mailing those type claims. Perhaps FepBlue can make them all submittable on-line and manage/refer these type of claims to people that process the claim. The app though is wonderful.

Decent app. It’s a decent app but at times you have to call customer service several times because you get different answers from different representatives. The representatives do their best to assist you (and the reps are very helpful) but seems like they are not given the necessary tools to better assist customers. I’ve been attempting to resolve an issue with the Wellness Card I recently received pertaining to the name placed on the card but realized the issue is on BCBS’s side but I can’t seem to have the issue resolved. Good luck getting through.

Many features but lack of functionality. The features in this app that pertain to setting and meeting goals are not well-designed. They are difficult to access because of repeated requests to log in - after already being logged in - and are difficult to find in order to record that set goals are met. The features related to goals, recording of goals and recording completed steps for each goal needs a lot of work to be helpful or effective. Once you find the goals section it works fine, but accessing it from the app is intended to be difficult so that benefits for completing goals do not have to be paid. If the goal was to truly incentivize meeting health goals this part of the app and the website should work flawlessly and easily. It does not and they know it.

Terrible Implementation. Downloaded the app and attempted to log in. Got an alert that I can’t log in to the app because my account needs a ‘security upgrade’; whatever that is. Gives me the option to log in to the website using the browser. Open the website and am not prompted for any kind of ‘upgrade’. I changed my password to one that was more secure figuring that was the ‘security upgrade’ that was needed. No dice. App still will not let me log in. Terrible first impression of an app. Doubtful that I’ll ever use it now. Wasn’t too compelled to use the website that much due to poor overall design. It’s obvious you’re no better at designing apps. I suggest others pass on this app at least until they figure out how to let you log in.

I have it on my IPhone and like it. I like that I can easily look up a claim because it is sorted by date. My husband still likes the paper EOB’s, but I way prefer looking things up online instead of sorting through paper. Also I do my incentives on the app and that is easy and saves me $$$. I tried to get my college kids to do it, but they weee too cool for it until one got married and then suddenly she was excited about it. Lol

A GOOD RESOURCE. I love the app, it encourages me to keep track of my health status, and it challenges me to set and meet new health goal. The incentives are a great plus as well. When I need to locate a provider, the app is extremely useful, and I can also look up medical cost, out of pocket and network expenses. There’s also a calculator on the open screen displaying how much you’ve spent on medical cost, and the remaining balance to reach your deductible. There are a few bugs, for example the farcical recognition to login repeatedly fails, end it can be a bit of a maze trying to locate what you’re looking for. Nevertheless, it’s a good resource.❣️

Good App. I think the app is very helpful but two minor things take away 5 star status. #1. There’s no way to send a message to the company. That’s crazy. There should be some way to contact support. #2. And this really has nothing to do with the app,.. acupuncture? Really? You won’t cover a life-saving operation for a sick little girl but your gonna cover that ridiculous worthless excuse for medicine? Acupuncture has been proven to be completely worthless time after time after time. C’mon blue, read the literature..it doesn’t work. Stop wasting resources on worthless hokum and stick to science-based medicine please. Ok. I’ll get off my soapbox now.

Frustrating. I have used the app for years. It never works with FaceID. (Update: I deleted app and redownloaded it. Face ID works now. Updated rating.) The legal agreement is ridiculous and you have to scroll forever. It makes me reverify that I trust the device every few months, yet it’s my phone. (Now that Face ID works, have to wait to see if this happens again. If I have to re validate trust in a few months, I will drop rating again. ) Let me decide how long to trust my phone. App is mostly a browser that presents a mobile version of the website, which I don’t find user friendly. App never seems to improve much, even when they put out updates.

Borderline fraud for patients. Since the launch of this app, it has been plagued with bugs and errors that could only be explained as intentional from a company/budget this large. The prioritization of fixing simple redirect issues when attempting to access claim information appears to be attempting to hide information on the explanation of benefits to get a clear understanding of insurer/member responsibilities. The website isn’t far behind with similar inconsistencies such as the constant error occurring in excess of 6 months being given an error of “empty pdf” when submitting overseas claims after filling out properly. The forcible action of the website and app not allowing submission of claim forms appears to be an exercise from BCBS to persuade members not to file claims out of frustration and assume the full financial burden. Will be dropping the entire insurer this season due to their sheer lack of transparency in coverage displayed on this app and website, the severe delay in claims processing, and an overall loss of confidence in the company.

Welcome Back Jen. I am currently working on my healthcare in a more comprehensive way so I will feel better. We have completed our move from Kansas to Michigan and that was a stress relief but now we are buying a house we really can’t afford but we have opportunity and the will to do it. Going back thru the website has been easy and comfortable. I did not feel anxious like I expected it to be. And the hen to find out I have 190 on my card will really help me out.

it is a "work in progress". I am glad that FEPBlue has an app, and it does provide a lot of information about my account. However it is not fully functional, by any stretch. If using the Health Tools, as an example, it will not function to update your progress...it just freezes up, you must log onto the web version to get full functionality. Even the web program falters in some functions...still after all these years. Today neither the app or the web site would access "find a provider" function. That is a gross failure. Three stars for making progress, but progress is slow and still has periods of outages. Edit: now after several hears the app is still not fully functional with iOS. Come on folks. The screen stays small and cannot bE enlarged, the touch id does not work either...I have downgraded my rating of the app from 3 stars to 1 star for your continued failure to fix the app, much less make it more user friendly.

Very Helpful. I’ve been using this app for my healthcare plan coverage for about 6 months now and it’s very easy to understand and navigate. I’m 40 years old so it’s not difficult for me but I believe older folks who don’t really “do” technology could navigate this app fairly easily as well. That’s what I like about it because I’ve worked in the insurance industry and sometimes apps or even just tech in general is very hard for older people. I think it’s great and very helpful when you need information but don’t want to call and wait for a representative to talk to. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😊

Good With 1 Exception. Overall, this is a very good app. Though there’s a degree of 3rd party information the accuracy of which can be questionable, it does serve its purpose with one exception, and that has to do with facial recognition. I can’t recall this app ever allowing facial recognition at sign-in. Regardless of what iteration of iPhone I’ve used ( I’m currently using an up-to-date Apple 14 Pro), I’ve always had to enter my password manually. If this is a bug, it should be fixed. If it’s not a bug, what’s the trick?

Problems?. Not sure why people are having problems with the App. I got on the first day with no lock ups or issues of any kind. I was able to see my medication and order refills.. I was able to see my incentives to get and stay healthy.. I now have over $100 in incentives so I can pay my co pays at the doctor. And input my changes to see where my health goes after every doctors visit. So far so good. Thanks.

BCBS ROCKS!!!. BCBS is in it to Win it!!! They want nothing but success for their members. I’ve never been on a health binge until now. I wanted to join Weight Watchers and join a gym but financially it was a bit challenging. Now that my Medical insurance covers my wish, my dreams are now coming true. I’ve only been on WE for 4 weeks and have lost 14 pounds. Now I have the opportunity to join a gym...look out Summer. The New Me is on the way!!! #healthywifehappylife

Would not have anyone else!!!!. BCBS Federal Program does so much for their customers. The app is just another way of being able to see how much was paid and give you an idea of what the amount of the bill will be from that doctor. I love that I can see where the deductible has been met and how much is met toward total out-of-pocket. Thank you for the Wellness Nurse who answers questions for me. They are very smart and very nice. Thank you BCBS Federal from an over 25+ year customer.

Good/Stable app. Ease of use is a 5 for me. I do wish EOB’s were an easy access rather than shuffling us to the online MyBlue account and have the account page tell us to go use the App but it does give the access to claims and EOBs. That’s my only negative, however it’s kind of an important one because EOB search is about the only reason I have to access FepBlue, to be honest. I’ll still keep the 4 ⭐️rating, for now because I’ve experienced far worse apps!

Digital Insurance Card. This app is great because it provides you with a digital copy of your insurance card, which is handy if you constantly forget yours, like me. The app could be better if it had more features provided in-app instead of redirecting you to web pages to do everything. I got the app because I wanted to check the cost of treatment for something. I was able to do it via a web page that the app pulled up for me (not quite as easy as it could’ve been if the feature was built-in to the app directly).

Could be a lot easier to use. Face recognition doesn’t work on this app; even though it’s turned on, it fails to authorize access, so I have to go looking for my password. Some features require going to “MyBlue”, which is apparently a different site altogether and will send you to yet another site to get information about prescriptions. It would be nice to have just one interface. And if you could respond to answers from customer service instead of having to start all over again when the response isn’t useful.

Awesome App. This app has made managing my health insurance easy. Whenever I have a question as to if something is covered by my insurance or how much I have paid regarding my deductible, it is easily accessible. The feature that takes you to other doctors within my network nearby is also extremely useful and allowed me to find the doctors for my needs quickly and efficiently. Overall I love this app.

Gotten Much Better. The FEPBlue app has gotten so-so-so much better. The UI is now actually easier to navigate. There is now loads of useful data relevant to the actual user. Best of all the new 2022 registration data pulls right into the account. I appreciate the easy of use, the app updates makes you want to explore more. Airline and hotels have the best and most customers friendly and usability apps - FEPBlue is now in that category. Thank you.

This app is way better than expected!. I just downloaded this and played around with what it can do. It shows my insurance card so no need to always carry it. It can help me find a doctor. I can look at all prescriptions and doctor visits. And I can see my EOBs! And also it tells me my benefits, out of pocket amount left and deductible left. So convenient and it makes it easy to keep track of payments! I absolutely love it.

Can’t log in. I can’t manage to log into the app. First it says there are new security features so I must log in from website. The whole idea of an app is not using the website....but ok I did that. Then I go back to app and have to verify my device, which I also just did on the website, annoying but ok I did it. Device verify seems to work, but then tells me I can’t log in because there’s a system problem and try again later. Try again, and forces through device verification again, same system error (but no error number or other helpful detail). Still can’t log in. App is useless if you can’t use it

Lol

Great so far. The test drive worked nicely. Will update review as we go along. Some good information to have at your fingertips. After a knee surgery still enjoying the app. Attempting to quit smokeless tobacco so will see how it helps with that. Update: 4 months later i still find this app informative and helpful. Timely covid 19 information and policy adjustments to enable rational response to pandemic.

Good App. This is an excellent app for a quick review of claims and benefits. However, using it to complete annual health assessment is a bit cumbersome to navigate. Pressing the wrong drop down brings you back to the “home page” and it’s hard to figure out how to return to the previous page. Please make transitions between pages and returning to previous pages less problematic.

What’s the point?. I seem to remember this app being nice. That hasn’t been the case for a while. You know you have a bad app when more than 50% of the time after opening it you get disgusted and just pull out your laptop. I can’t remember the last time the claims function has worked. I also hate how just about everything else just opens up Safari. What’s the point? Even the Face ID doesn’t work anymore. Things that are useful: checking out of pocket expenses quickly, pulling out a digital member ID card, looking at your benefits quickly.

Fit for life. As we age our health and our priorities change and unfortunately not for the good of our bodies. This app is a great way to stay fit. Not only does it encourage you but it also tells you how to get fit and you can earn money. There is so much great information on just about everything pertaining to health. I also appreciate the online coach

Good, appreciate the goals and rewards. Pretty good. Not many popular workout apps that Sync with it. Could automatically track if it worked. I synced Strava but it doesn’t do anything with the syncing. Strava also does not have categories for treadmill or indoor cycling etc. Just has a general workout timer. I use an Apple workout app that is great but doesn’t sync. Took me a while to find the path to get to place to log my workout. Thanks for the incentives, that works well for me!

Services. I always appreciate the customer service of BCBS in all aspects. Very helpful, knowledgeable and always give concrete information and responses whenever I inquire on matters about my medical coverage and claims (except one claim on my incentive plan which took longer than expected although this matter has been resolved lately). Thank you for the good service.

FEPBLUE APP IS IMPROVED. This app is greatly updated and improved over older versions. Including FACE ID as a log in is excellent progress in modernization. Easy access to information on a phone is appreciated. The pharmacy claim information “coming soon” will be a good addition. The only constructive comment is that the speed of log in needs improvement. With my Gigabyte speed WiFi, the login was very slow. Other than that- this app provides easy access to important info - thank you Henry G.

Blue banner won’t X out on rewards tracking. When I try to enter my daily progress for my goals to earn my rewards, the banner won’t close and it is very difficult for the app to recognize that I’ve pressed the enter button. It will just scroll...that part is aggravating but otherwise, the app works well in other aspects. My experience has been great every year when doing the rewards for the past 5 years. This is a new glitch in 2020

Amazing. One suggestion.. I always imagined healthcare as an outdated and burdensome system. This all has 24 hour nurses that take your call within minutes. The one suggestion I have, and the reason I’m only giving 4 stars, is that it does not allow you to schedule easily. You have to call to schedule an appointment. There are apps that allow you to schedule immediately and give you many options. I’m sure they’ll add the feature soon.

App needs an update. Update. 2021. So far I feel the app has made an upgrade. Much better. This app use to be great. This year every time I logged in i have to continuously log out and log back in until the page I want will properly load. Now I am on my last day of online health program incentives and the app will not let process my last goal. It allowed me to finish two out three. So I do not believe it is an internet issue. Otherwise, I enjoy the convenience of this app.

Crap App and Website. I cannot even begin to express my frustration with this app and website. I try to login to find a provider as we’ve moved to a new area and each time I try to simply log on it takes 20 min of resetting passwords, sending verification codes and then errors upon errors after all that as I try to log in!! I decided to try the app thinking (silly me) that it would be easier and less painful, well it’s not! I’ve tried multiple times to sign into the app each time getting a security update error and follow the steps outlined. I can get into the website but cannot log into the app. What a waste of time and effort.

Good just wish I could get a few of my old medical bills paid for!. I have some pharmacy bills that were posed to be paid when my insurance went through, but insurance wouldnt go back and cover it. Health insurance I wish or would like if it was possible to cover my old medical bills. Its about 1700$ which is in my Blueshield budget! Just saying though. I love this app and Blueshield is really great with everything!

Learning to be healthy. Thanks for the help your program has provide to me. I have been trying to get healthy, but it has been a struggle since May of this year. With the goal setting program I have done wonderful. This program is very easy to follow and very effective. I had a stroke few months ago and my goal is to get back to work again and just be healthy. Thanks again for your wonderful help.

Keep Trying Harder. I see signs of what appear to be attempts to improve the app from the years of lesser performance that have proven to be a source of frustration to those not so familiar with the navigating difficulties faced by those who are less technically proficient. The upward curve of improvement needs to be continued as I, for one, still have times where I’m confronted with situations that more difficult than they really should be. Much thanks for your time.

Taking the assessment test. There’s not much time to go find information needed to fill out some of the questions asked, and then you get shut down, and have to start over 🙁 It would have helped to be reminded to have personal information readily available to keep the page open - or keep it open a little longer so we have more time to answer some of the questions. Thank you 😊

Great service. BCBS has my back in my health care. They have so many incentives and free offers of BP and glucose meters. Plus they have a card that can be used to pay for medical supplies or to pay your deductible when you visit your doctor. However, you must meet certain health care qualifications for this. To me, it’s a WIN/WIN situation. I am so glad I chose BCBS for my health insurance. They’ve been taking care of me for over 40 years.

Problems. Aside from the fact that the screen is Vertical, I prefer it in a Horizontal state, it is less than a quarter of the page. No matter what I do on my ipad I can’t fix this. Also when I click, every time, on Claims it comes up with “We’re sorry, it looks like there was an error retrieving your data.” Try Again. I’ve tried so many times. This app doesn’t give me what I need. I went from 2 stars to 3 stars. The error note hasn’t come back but the page I get to look at is much much too small.

Works for what I need.... ...the only issue I have is the validity of the provider information thats queued when you use the search feature. For example, when I searched for a General Pediatrician Practitioner, I was provided contact information for Urgent Care centers, Emergency Departments, etc. I tried to filter and sort the information to no avail. A little annoying, but for the most part it’s a functional app for use when you are not able to get to a computer.

Great App. - Easy to use. I enjoy using the FepBlue app because it has everything I need to manage my health care. The app is easy to use and-navigation is easy. I especially like being able to review by EOB, keep up with my medication, and find additional information about my health. I also like that I can check cost of medication. Helps me coordinate with my physician, if a medication cost is prohibited or unapproved.

Really easy to keep on top of things. This app allows me to check my balance of my deductibles and allows me to view the EOB and which ones haven’t been addressed. I like the fact that I can see the doctors available within the network. I rarely have any need to go to the online website which is great. Thanks for a great app that’s easy to use.

Can’t submit a claim. First of all, they don’t answer communications made through this app. I submitted a question a week ago, and I’ve gotten no response. Second problem, it keeps telling me that it’s having trouble getting my information. Third problem, even if it worked, there’s no way to submit a claim through this app! I have to download a form, print the form, print the receipt, mail the form. What year is this again? The 80’s called, they’d like their procedure back. This insurance coverage isn’t exactly cheap, one would think they could have a better app.

Could be better. The app has come a long way since first appearing in the App Store. There’s still some work needed on navigating the app. I saw information on health club membership discounts, but after trying to return to that page later, I found it difficult to find. Also, the authentication process is flawed. I’m constantly asked to verify even though I have selected “remember this device.”

I love Online Coach. Since the pandemic started and we begin teleworking, I made teleworking work for me in various ways. Rather than feeling isolated and feeling trapped I do workouts during my breaks and practice healthy eating. The Online Coach, along with my Apple Fitness and my personal desire to get back into shape has worked wonders for me. I am super pleased with my results and always look forward to my workouts. Thank you BCBS for this motivational tool!

Bluecross app. I really like this app it’s a short trip and I do appreciate it but I did make an error on my online coach. Oh my weight scale and there is no way to recapture that air. I do believe I put 108.5 for the way we should’ve been 180.5 The suggestion there should be a recap we capture that because you awarded me my last reward and that was it here so I guess I have to call Blue Cross Blue Shield the correct us thank you very much and I still like the app

Excellent. The customer support and service is amazing. I had been using Blue Cross on my computer only, and decided to add iPhone use as well. I did not have access for a peculiar reason. The Blue Cross/Blue Shield customer service agent was incredibly intelligent and helpful individual! She made my ability to also access my BCBS on my phone in addition to my computer. She earned a tremendous thankful! Tim C

Yes it was fine once I had my OWN ACCT.. Once you are logged in properly as a DEPENDENT of the ONLINE ACCOUNT ACCT. you will be fine. Creating an account as a Dependent is ridiculous! No one will be able to do this unless you work for the company MAYBE. I had to call 2 Support desks. Given a PIN number and then WALKED thru the process by a support person that took about 30 minutes and lots of impatience for the process before I actually set up my own account. Once I was IN it's been fine. I can now see all that pertains to me, not just my husband!

Ok, but FaceID does not work in this app. The app is ok. But, true to BCBS form, the device verification does not work well - or, rather, at all. FaceID does not work - with a constant ‘authentication failed’ message, requiring the password be entered every time. This is totally inline with the companion website that also requires device verification EACH time one logs on, despite ‘remember this device’ and a splash screen that assures you that your device will be remembered for 4 months. Why BCBS can’t get these to work correctly is beyond me. Make those work (both the app and the website), and it would be a solid program.

Juneofark. I’ve used this app for several years and I gave it 5 stars. It’s so useful to me and easy to use. It reminds me every day to go to the app and monitor the goals I’ve set for myself, this alone is worth the 5 stars. It’s also helpful to have all my information in one place that I can access at any time. Thanks so much for making one thing in this fast paced life easy!

Tablets. For a very long time this app was not workable on tablets, you could not manipulate the screen to shrink the page to see out to the edges. It seems that is now fixed. Score one for BCBS. I come to this site regularly to order medications. Yet pharmacy is not a selection on the Home Screen. You have to hunt through a few screens to get to the actual order site. So I would suggest a tile for “refill Rx” on the Home Screen for easy access.

Simple and Easy to Navigate. I'm really pleased with how easy and convenient this app is to use. The app allows me to view my policy information, make payments, and even submit a claim. The customer service is also top-notch - I had a question about a policy and they responded right away. I highly recommend this app to anyone looking for an easy way to manage their insurance.

Accessing Not the Greatest. I’m not rating poorly because of the info it provides but rather for the app’s behavior. It has the Face ID feature, it never, ever works. I always have to sign in using the passcode. It also lies. It tells you, once you verify, you can use the app on other devices for I believe 2 or 3 months. That’s a lie because I always have to verify on my PC (the only other place I use the app consistently), every time I use it on my PC. The app is annoying to access. But once you access, it’s great.

This app will have your phone hanging. Every time I go to claims I will get an error and then will lock up your phone in hang time! They do not leave any where to report the problem. Seems like it would be proper to be able to report problems without having to involve such a public form. Please review your claims access and add a link to report such frustrations.

Disappointed. You can look up your claims, but are unable to print them so you can send them to your FSA. When you attempt to get a phone number or email to contact a support person the app runs you in circles to the “contact us” page without a way to get support. I had to log onto the full web to print and get full information on claims. When you look up your claim in the at a glance format you should be able to go the final step and see a pdf of the claim to read it and print if necessary. This app gives you half the information you need.

Garbage. Absolute garbage. It’s a just a digital ID card. The claims section is 2-3 months behind your actual claim dates and Functions like add a child or spouse require you to go the their website. Once you’re at the website you find that many of the changes or edits you’d like to preform are unavailable even though their on the website. Please tell me why I can report the death of a dependent but I can’t add a child or a spouse? We do you pick and choose what life events can be done online? Economically I know you’d rather not pay benefits and make it harder for your customers to add dependents but even bother listing it on your website as a self service function if you want allow your customers to use it?

Needs an update.... App used to work great. First, I was unable to access claims - system error. Used Safari on my iPhone and obtained the information with no problem. Then FaceID stopped working. So, I deleted the app and reinstalled. Now, while attempting to login (without using FaceID), the error message reads, “Login failed due to a system error. Please try again later.” Unfortunately, I can’t access any of my information through the app. Using safari is not the best; it’s rather difficult to navigate when accustomed to breezing through an app that spoiled me with excellent features. I must say, I’m rather disappointed there hasn’t been an update...

Happy to participate. I find the app to be a very useful reminder to take extra care of myself, this is especially important in the age of Covid 19. There are times that some questions could use a little more work, instead of setting a specific goal such as weight offer a range or about smoking. If one is a non smoker or a quit smoker drop the question. Otherwise it is a great tool.

Excellent Customer Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. It is difficult to express the profound joy and admiration I have for the workers and associates of blue Cross and blue shield anthem I have received above, and beyond the call for service, information and assistance from the providers of Blue Cross Blue Shield. The assistance I received from one of the phone provider was excellent, she was very patient and clear in her instructions Again, I want to say, thank you Darryl Tyler, Veteran
