Nothing long about it. Misleading. Finished it in a few minutes. Not very emotionally driven, in comparison to the fake reviews.

Not a game. This is not a game at all. It’s a presentation of someone’s art. Mildly interesting but super boring and a waste of time.

Really need a quiet place/mind to play this. hate to spoil anything.. One suggestion: the meditative feature really requires to play in late night/quiet livingroom/alone. Love the minimalist graphics and music. Worth it.

Moving - I will play again and again.. In fact as I walk I play. This is high art and cinema and drama as much as it is a ‘game’. The rules are simple. Always move forward. Sometimes there are helpers. Sometimes you must go back for people for them to come along. And in the end we will all reach the end of our journey. Thank you for building this.

This is not a game. It comes across as a game. But really it's a $3 artistic story. Some will love it, many won't.

This has to be a joke. You put your finger on one side of the screen and hold it there for 10-15 minutes then the game is over? Ridiculous, surely someone faked the good reviews. Crummy black and white graphics. Don't waste your time or money.

Not work on both my devices.... Right after start app crashes and show only black screen. If developers can't pay to testers for find so critical bugs then why we should pay 3$ to them. Don't buy this app!

Game too short. I got like 30 minutes of gameplay. The game is very slow paced. I would not recommend.

A great experience you would enjoy again and again. it's enjoyable and kinda sad. It makes my iPad Pro really really hot when I play this game, so i downloaded on my Apple TV, it works great there.

Such a beautiful game!. Set sails and let the journey begin! This game is stunningly beautiful and relaxing. The music is amazing and the graphics are unique and refreshing; along with its simple gameplay this story allows you to interprete life and your journey through it using clever metaphors that will keep you thinking on this blissful quest through out life's ocean. Replay value is guaranteed for this one.

Kinda boring. Ok, and I know someone’s mad at me for this, but this game is boring. I was done in like 20 minutes and I don’t know if this is supposed to be sad or something but it’s not, it took the smallest amount of time, and I was still left waiting for something at least a bit sad. Also I don’t think the music is all it’s cracked up to be. But I do like the boat idea, so I’ll say it has potential.

Most thoughtful art piece. This is a gorgeous artwork. It let you recollect the precious gifts along the path you are coming from and prepare you for the road ahead. It's like a meditation of your life. Take a deep breath and set aside your busy daily routine and start this long journey. You will discover more than you would imagine.

Wow.. I never EVER write reviews for games, but this game deserves a Gold medal! It’s so beautiful and symbolic! The music and graphics go so great together! I seriously cried because of how beautiful this game is (I’m 13 😂) This game is definitely worth the time to play it! 👍🏻

Probably not worth it.. This is interesting primarily when viewed as an art piece (not a game), but not sure why it was $3. I am surprised this was promoted in the "featured" section of the App Store. Also, the sound did not work the first time I started playing.

Nice music but probably not worth the purchase. After reading the initial reviews I was immediately interested in trying this app. Although it did lull me into some level of deep thought and reflection the quality of the app itself was not worth the purchase. As I mentioned in the title the music was very nice and did add to some of the experience. I'm just glad I didn't spend the $3 many others did.

BAH!. Big wow, you move left & right for about 5 minutes with some cheap graphics on the screen and the words BIRTH, CHILDHOOD, TEENAGER, PARENT, etc. flash on the screen. I bought this garbage because I was in a contemplative mood at the time and thought instead of buying a bag of cheap bleached flour for my bare cupboard, I'd get this instead. Big mistake! Now both my mind AND my body are without nourishment. This "app" stinks. Pass it by, nothing to see here, folks.

An amazing game, a wonderful journey. This is an wonderful game with a great journey and support by soft music.Yet,I was expected something would happen if I leave the second boat with out turning back. Anyways, this is a beautiful game that anyone should try.

Not Impressed. I bought this app for my seven year old son who thought it looked interesting. It would not run on his iPad3. Then decided to load it on my iPad Air and was able to move a boat across the water. Very unimpressed.

Way to short. The game as a good thought to it. But I played it in 10 minutes, for $0.99?

Waste of time - not worth the money. Beautiful artwork and sound, but this IS NOT a game. I, too, think that the astounding reviews might be artificial. I was just looking for new games to kill time at the airport or in transit, so I bought this based on the reviews. You hold your finger to the right and that's it. I didn't have this emotional connection to the game that others claim, and certainly not the $$'s worth of reflection.

Best App since iPhone. It's not just a game. It's actually more like a movie. Made me sit, think and cry for a long time after I finished my whole life. This app is so different, highly recommend!!

Don't play this game if you cry easily. I would call this the most inspiring game I've ever experienced. After my husband and I played the game we realized life is such a long journey full of love and joy. We would definitely recommend every couple or family to play it together

decent style buyt battery consuming. very short period of entire “game”. After 5 minutes of display, at the stage “Age 18”, my iPhone got very hot. Never been such high temperature before even on 3D games. And the battery dropped from 20% to 6% Within 5 minutes, which is ridiculous on my iPhone6s Plus.

A waste of 99¢ !!!. I could've just watched a walk through, this game is just a visual auditory gimmick. There is nothing deep and meaningful it just poses a vague idea of life. I should not have even spent my time doing this.

A Beautiful, Yet Simple, Story. I came across this game while looking for some free adventure games and I’m very glad I decided to download it. This game is more of a story than a game, you really don’t have to do much of anything. But it is a wonderful story of life told without any words and I find it relaxing. The visuals are very calming and the music fits really well. This is definitely an experience more than a game. Introverts and visual artists will especially love this. There are parts that are louder than others (like in the teenage stage), but generally the audio is soothing and calm. Also: If you like this game, I recommend the game Lost Tracks. It’s a bit more interactive but it’s about a journey within oneself and facing anxiety. Lost Tracks has very similar visuals but they are colored, and a bit more detailed. Overall I really enjoyed this game, and I think you will too. And if you do enjoy Long Journey, then I recommend checking out Lost Tracks as well. I wish there were more games like this.

Disappointment. Reading the reviews seems that is an awesome app, but this seems a joke, a good way to throw away money.

mistranslation… in korean. a mistranslation in korean version. the name of chapter 'graduation' should be translated to '졸업' rather than '눈금'. '졸업' means finishing school. '눈금' means marking.

My thoughts.... This is a gorgeous app with depth to it. However well done it is, I was finished with it within 15-20 min. At least with other apps, they last and take time to complete, even the really goods ones which are free. I feel this app is way overpriced for what you receive. It should have been .99, then it would have been 5 stars. Otherwise, it is beautifully and thoughtfully done.

Visual artists & introverts will love this!. A beautiful, relatable, & emotional experience that evokes all the senses. This app feels like a marriage between a movie, picture book, and game. I recommend opening the app for the first time at night, in a quiet place, with headphones on. The audio experience is just as important as the visuals! From there just go with the flow. Being the introverted & introspective type of person I am, this is very easy to appreciate and love.

Long journey. Was easy going, quiet, nice, but when I tried to download it and re-install it, it only gives me a little box in the upper left corner of my iPad. Needless to say, I am somewhat disappointed. I tried to erase it and d/l it 3 different times to no avail. Sad sad me....

Stopped. I couldn’t move my boat once I got to a certain point. Forced to restart the app only to learn my progress wasn’t saved. No way to save progress and buggy app.

Awesome but hot phone. Awesome app and well thought out but it makes my iPhone 7 really hot and by the time I get to 'relationship' I have to stop as I'm worried my phone will shut down due to how hot It gets!!! Please look at this issue developer

Horrible. The game is broken I get a black screen and some ocean sounds I know I am on an iPad mini 1 but I bought it and if you don't fix it I will find a way to report it

I do not recommend. After minutes of the experience, the boat did not move after being instructed to hold the boat and swipe left and right. I also noticed that the background sounds would stop and start again. It did not loop harmoniously - this did not sound smooth to the ears. I was very disappointed by the quality as this was meant to be a peaceful calming experience but the UI/UX was frustrating and had no touch response - quite contradictory.

Helped me move on. This game is calming recently my grandfather passed away and playing this made me think of how much of his life was amazing and that there never is an end. It's expensive for a side scroller but I really enjoyed it.

English will follow Ce "jeu" n'en n'est pas un, c'est plus comme regarder un court métrage animé de 5 minutes tout en devant garder le doigt sur l'écran pour que l'histoire suive son cours... L'ambiance est correcte, mais j'ai terminé le visionnement en 5 minutes sans aucune exagération, et une fois terminer, il n'y a pas de valeur de ré-"jouabilité", car, au risque de me répéter, c'est comme regarder un film muet de 5 minutes... Vous ne pouvez qu'avancer, reculer et ne pas bouger du tout ce qui est aussi amusant de mettre un film sur "pause" ou de le reculer à vitesse normale "1x". Bref, je ne le recommande pas. This "game" isn't a game, It feels more like an animated short movie that looks and sounds ok, but it's more like having to touch a screen to watch a 5 minutes animation, and I am not exaggerating when I am saying "5 minutes". It is way too short and have no re"play" value whatsoever. You can only move forward, stay in place and do nothing at all, or go back which is as much entertaining as pausing or rewinding a movie at normal 1x speed. I don't recommend it.

A visual and audio poem. This is not a game. It is a poetically visual and musical expression of one's journey from birth to death. If you are young, a good deal of it will not make sense. If you are looking for a game this will be a very bad purchase. If you are interested in a 10 minute poem about life for the price of a beer then this is worth your while.

Gorgeous "game" but could do without. The graphics and sound are gorgeous. However, there aren't any challenges or choices to make, it's quite short, and it's not the sort of thing you'd necessarily want to play a second time. This is more like interactive art than a game--and if that interests you, go for it.
