Very addictive game. Very fun game. I play it before I go to work and sometimes in the evening. I have been playing this game for almost a year now and I am currently on level 1541. One thing I don’t like about it is the outfits you get for your hatchlings in your treasure chest. Sometimes a bird or maybe even unlimited lives would be great. Overall I enjoy the game and will continue to play until I have passed all the levels and may be rated “Angry Birds Match King”!!

Great puzzles For the mind but…. Developers, you guys are smart we know that, but you don’t have to be greedy. Please find way that we can keep some of our birds when we win a game. If we’ve got the big bomb left give us a yellow bird for the next game, if we’ve got a yellow bird, give us a red bird. If we’ve got two red birds give us one. I’m sure you can figure out a way to do that.I don’t play as often as I want to because I don’t want to spend a lot of money on it. And I won’t recommend it for other players if you have to spend a lot of money. Get your money from the advertisers.

Love the game but.... I’ve enjoyed playing this game for several years, but recently found a problem. When I click on the outfit icon at the bottom left corner of the screen the game shuts down completely. Tried deleting the app and reloading, but still can’t access the outfits page. Same result if playing on an iPad or iPhone. Is there a known issue? Would appreciate some feedback from the developers.

Fun and Addicting. The only issue I have run into is when playing on different devices the main screen upon start up shows me at the same level as my other device that I last played on, but when I click the icon to play the current round, the next screen shows a lower level despite starting the game fresh. I find myself having to start the game at least twice to get it properly synced. I hope this will be fixed.

Coming soon!?!. I have been playing this for at least 2 years, on level 2265 and spending lots to buy gems and I used to love it! I would now give 0 stars if I could. I have not been able to advance levels. Which is totally ridiculous! It literally won’t let you hit the play button to advance to the next level!? It says “coming soon” and tells you how many days you have to WAIT to play again!?!? I would think they would want you to play the game but I guess not! I have had to wait anywhere from 1 to 5 DAYS before I can play! I don’t know who thought this new version up, but get rid of them!!!!!!! Fire them! You are losing money when I can’t play! Duh!! Rovio does not listen or care what customers say!!!!!

Nice Game Potential But Very Frustrating. This game has good potential, however the ability to earn and use boosters and use them when it is convenient to the player is poorly thought out. Players are able to earn daily boosters but must be used immediately whether you want to use them or not. No way to accumulate and save when needed. The only way you can earn accumulative boosters are from special events but these events are difficult to complete. The only way to complete them is to use a boosters and you usually have to use more boosters than you earn. That defeats the whole purpose of the Events.

Bummed out. This rating is ONLY for the update that just happened. Woof. I LOVE this game. I play it every day, usually multiple times a day. I have stuck with it through every change in the game play system, adapting because of how much I love it. But I really don’t like the new models for the items they match. They’re distracting and honestly they look worse. I tried to play one round after this latest upgrade and started looking for a new favorite game. I’m sorry if that sounds harsh, I know that many people probably worked hard on it. But this might make me stop playing my fav game. 6 star game before, 2 stars after. Bummer.

Another AB Cash Cow. This is definitely a fun & challenging game, however, I wish you would allow the player to purchase lives & power-ups with the coins earned like I’m able to do when playing AB Friends. Many of the levels are almost impossible to beat w/o power-ups so having the option to use the coins to continue to play would make this a 5+ star rated app. Because you continue to make all your new AB games so costly to play, I guess I will play through the last bit of gems I’ve purchased then delete this app along with AB Blast. I realize you’ve got to make $ to continue to develop levels & new games but given your company’s GR for 2016 was $190,000,000 (& apparently your best year to date), I think you can find a way to let your customers continue to play your games w/o having to fork out so much money...you remind me of Spirit Airlines...you think you’re getting a great deal for a service initially, but in reality you’re spending a lot more than originally quoted.

Lives. I really like this game. The only thing I’d change is I wish we could use coins for “purchasing” more lives instead of only gems. Also, I have the sounds turned off but every time I open the game I get a few seconds of whistling which is a little annoying. Especially if I’m in a place where I don’t want any sound! The game is very fun! I loved nibbles and when I finished it I was so glad to find rovio had another game similar.

Almost 5 stars except.... I love this game. I’ve gotten my husband addicted even. Oops. But my biggest complaint is that even with the many updates, it still hasn’t fixed the 3 extra move problem. Any time I’m awarded one of those (not the choose to watch an ad extra moves), it only gives me 2! Every. Single. Time. I’m playing, getting into it and like “yes, I’m gonna beat this level with my last move!” Nope. It abruptly ends. And it will show the 1 move up at the top still. Sketchy, Shady, Just Wrong.

Extremely frustrating!!. I have played this game for a couple years now. I loved it!! However; within the last couple months, there have been too many glitches! If I’m stuck on a level for a couple days and am almost completing it, I will purchase gems to add more moves. When I purchase the moves, it freezes and won’t allow me to get back to the game. This happens 9 out of 10 times now. I’m done spending money on this game until this glitch is fixed. Without the glitches, it will be a 5 star rating.

Costly, don’t get rewards earned and support is terrible. I have been playing this game for some time. It does require money to be able to win a lot of the games. I was okay doing that but am at the point where I am stopping. First you will play the same games over and over which I have tired of. The biggest issue is bugs in the app. Try to collect rewards I earned in the Collections section and app crashes and I didn’t get rewards. Contacted support and they did nothing. Says internet connection problem and actually got rewards. No problem with any other activity or any other app. Sent screenshots to prove no rewards given, but they don’t care. This app is being deleted

REALLY annoying ads. C’mon, I know you’re hoping to make $$ from your game, but your advertising is so irritating that I’m almost ready to stop playing. You either force us to watch multiple cascading screens that we can’t get beyond, or your controls are sneakily hidden so we can’t click them, or they’re positioned such that we’re perilously close to clicking something we don’t intend to when all we really want is that little x. Give us a paid version. I bet you’d have more long term followers and would stop losing people like me who are getting pretty darn tired of feeling taken advantage of.

I like it but it’s expensive to play. I remember when the first AB came out and it was pretty much free. The next few versions, you could pay a few bucks and get it ad free. This game is going to cost you some serious cash if you’re used to playing for a good period of time. $20 might be enough to get through 5 or 6 puzzles. And how many of us are only going to play 5 puzzles and stop? I know there are other games that cost a lot more to play, but this is a departure from the AB series and I’m disappointed that their popularity has made them greedy. If it didn’t cost so much to play, I would give it 5 stars. It’s a very challenging and creative way to do the match 3 type of puzzles. I thoroughly enjoy it, which is why I hate that it’s so expensive to play.

Don’t play unless you plan on spending a lot of money on the game. I get that their goal is to make money and I’m happy to watch ads and have spent money in the game. But recently it’s obvious that you can’t win any of the levels without spending a good deal of money. And when the King Pig appears, just quit the game all together if you are playing it. There’s no way to kill the King Pig within the number of turns they give you in a game, and certainly no way to kill it and then do the other tasks needed. You’ll need to buy extra turns at least 4-5 times to complete any one of those games. Save yourself a headache and just don’t play this game.

What is the problem?. Now I’m held captive by another game ad. Cannot get past it. Have turned off and rebooted Ny tablet 7 times to try to move on. Cannot play because BOOM up comes royal match 7 times in a row and that’s the end. I find myself more and more avoiding this game. I’m so tired of seeing a little clock counting down to a time to, maybe, collect an reward, only to be disappointed when nothing happens when the little clock gets to zero. What is the point? There have been so many times when the screen distorts and freezes just as I’m about to get a reward, but I can’t click “claim” because the screen is distorted and frozen and “claim” is unavailable. Waiting doesn’t help. Opening and closing the tablet doesn’t work. The screen is frozen so, “sorry, you lose”! Are these glitches designed into this game? It’s too bad.

Used to love this game. This was my go to game all the time. However, they have made so many updates that have ruined the game. If I could give it zero stars, I would, based on the changes that have been made. 1. Events are now weekly. The events stress me out now. They used to be fun and exciting, but now they are every week and make me not want to play the game at all. 2. They used to offer infinite lives when you would pass an event series of levels or buy chests with you coins, making your coins actually useful. 3. You used to win gems one this 1500 coin treasure chest. Now, not only do you NEVER get gems, most of the time you get thimbles of thread that are utterly useless. 4. Events used to last for several weeks versus 6 days. Way ore competitive the original way, however, this is not one of my bigger complaints. This used to be one of my favorite games. I had originally rated it 5 stars. I have asked them multiple times to fix these issues. They just shine me on, telling me “my feedback is important,” but not doing anything about it. It has become one of my least favorite games. I’m almost about to give up playing it at all. And I was one of those dorks that spent real money on this stupid game before. Lastly, I have tried, multiple times to take to support to get help on these issues and I only get shined on. Nobody, usually, does anything about it.

Fun until it’s not. I get the pay to play model, but this game is pretty ridiculous when it comes to having to pay to pass levels. It’s in the similar style of Candy Crush, at least with Candy Crush you get pretty high up in levels before you have to start buying things to help you pass, and the “Super Hard” levels come few and far between. Once you get to level 200 in this game, every other level is “Super Hard” and you’re playing 1 level for 3-4 days at a time because you just can’t pass unless you buy more gems to get level help. Sure it gives you a lot of free stuff, but you’re just using that free stuff for over 2 hours trying to pass 1 level, then 10 minutes later, there’s another Super Hard level and that takes you another 2-3 days. So be aware, this game is not for longevity, you’ll have fun for a few days until you just want to throw your phone through the wall.

Glitches killed the fun. I used to love this game, but lately it has become impossible to get around the glitches. It started with missing purchases - I paid a small price for gems and used the gems to obtain boosters, but when I tried to use the boosters they disappeared from my “bank” and never appeared in my game. I contacted the developer and was ignored. I opted to keep playing but not use boosters, and that lasted about a week. I’m on level 249, and I like playing the special event levels, but now the game freezes when I open a level, taking a life in the process; or freezes after I successfully complete a level and won’t let me exit the level or give me credit for the win; or shows that I successfully completed a level, but that I ran out of moves and need 9 gems to continue. Um, NO. The game is updated and so is my new iPad, so the fault is within the game. I play these silly games to relax — if I wanted more stress and frustration, I’d just spend more time at work. Save yourself the trouble and don’t bother with this game.

This is my favorite game and I don’t Even like games. I wish they had a lot more variety and variations in their puzzles scenes. They are all pretty much reused all the time and that gets boring but I’ve Been playing this for years and I still love it. The art style is my favorite. I dont like the traditional cartoon feel of the other AB games. This one is different somehow to the newer angry birds games. I’ve tried them but this is the only game that is really relaxing to me. I forget my troubles when I play this and I especially appreciate it doesn’t have too much occult witchcraft stuff in it. Occasionally it does but compared to other games it’s mild. I refuse to play anything that’s like Harry Potter or “bubble witch”, etc. sometimes it has glitches and I need to restart but as a whole it’s very stable also.

Disappointed. I loved this game in the beginning, but the further you go along, the more repeats there are, just less moves to complete them. Then comes the holiday challenge, which is the same three rounds over and over again, some nearly impossible to finish. I've never been a part of the AB family until now and would have thought with the growth of the AB craze, there would have been many more options or scenes In addition to that, the minimum to buy more credits is $4.99 instead of most other games where I can spend 99 cents to continue for one time. Lastly it's the only game that I play which doesn't have weekly or even daily, freebies on the fan site. Going to uninstall at level 275+

Candy Crush with Angry Birds. Rovio gets it done with this Crush clone. Great graphics, goofy story, and the cost is almost exactly the same as it's King counterpart. There are less power ups and levels are a little easier, they started to get a bit more difficult around 100 but still can pass several levels in row one the first try. Facebook login for syncing across multiple devices is a plus. That is where Angry Birds lost me, was spending all that time getting 3 stars and then getting a new phone and it was gone. Speaking of which, this game has no scoring and once you beat a level that's it. You don't have a board to go back and select old levels from.

Hmm..... I have been with this fame since the beginning and I use to really love it. You could win gems and we're rewarded for playing. Over the years though it has really changed. You no longer win gems in the treasure chest. The gems you win by playing the game are low (anywhere from 2-15) and the majority of the things you win are toward a clothing option but there's no way for you to use them or trade them for gems. Over the last six months I went from playing all day everyday to maybe playing once a month. I feel like they went from having an enjoyable game to just out to make money. I don't mind the game making money but it shouldn't be at the cost and quality of the game.

Best Matching Game Ever. Lots of games do matching, but this game is the best! It’s fun to have the birds pop up and they even make sounds when they do. It’s so much fun to see them go in different directions. I love the treasures that you get every day. And you can buy more stuff during the game. And I’m not talking about buying with money, you buy with things that you earned in the game which is way better because not everyone wants to spend money on a game. The ads are worth watching because they are also fun and not boring. I think the adventures and outfits are awesome. Five stars. I have never played a game where I have gotten almost to the thousandth level! HIGHLY RECOMMEND *****!

Big fan/avid player BUT Games force quits regularly. I've had this games for over a year as well as other Angry Bird games. I've used my dollars to purchase extra lives etc... I really enjoy playing this game and have recommended it to friends. However, over the past month the game will regularly force quit. Particularly if I click to watch an ad for more lives. That's extremely frustrating and interestingly odd that almost every time this "force quit" happens, it's when I need to watch an ad. I've deleted the app for several days then re-uploaded it three different times in hopes that the "bug" would be fixed but the same thing occurs. Yes, I've shut down my tablet and deleted data. That's not the problem. It's the game. Seriously dissatisfied.

I don’t usually don’t play phone games. I must say that while I don’t usually write reviews, I also don’t usually play cell phone games. And, here I am doing both. I suppose I can’t pass by the opportunity to rate this game as it is honestly the only game I’ve ever enjoyed playing for more than a few days before I delete it, and I’ve been playing this one for years. I don’t even care about Angry Birds, really. I honestly simply enjoy playing this game for some strange reason. It’s fun, relaxing, cute and funny at times, and simple. Looking at it at face value, I never would have guessed that this would be the game I’d pick up and not put down.

Contract. I did not even start to play this game due to the terms in contract. If y’all didn’t read it, do so. In it you will find what some of these reviews are saying about the gems. After you buy them, sales are final. It’s says in the contract that if the bought items disappear or go missing, they are not in any way responsible. Even though you are giving them money for it. Plus you give them access to stuff I didn’t want them having access to. It’s a game, not worth it to me. Too bad, it looked like fun. Don’t buy stuff. Sounds like they are just stealing from people and they can’t do anything about it because they agreed having their money stolen. In a round about way but it’s what they are saying.

Needs a fast forward option. I think it takes too long to waste the last turns when you realize the level is a lost cause, especially when it involves the pigs throwing glue or TNT. Then it takes three times as long to just start the level over. I think it's a great game, but I just hate the inability to skip the last turns when you know it's a waste of time. I also hate the annoying chime when you're on your last five turns. It's also annoying that it takes half an hour to regain one turn. I thought the games that made you wait fifteen minutes were pushing it. The happy hours are great, but don't make the mistake I did assuming that if I didn't click claim prize that the hour would still be waiting for me when i reopened the game if I closed it.

Great game but…. I’ve loved playing this game for a very long time. Now I’ve been getting error messages whenever I try to open chests and so far no one has been able to help me. The last five chests I tried to open I was unable to claim rewards even though the error message stated that wouldn’t be the case. The one response I received blamed it on connection but everything has been the same from I first started playing the game to now. Within that time I’ve opened over 60 chests without a problem so why is connectivity a possible issue now?? Hopefully someone else can offer another solution than the generic response.

Right now it doesn’t work. The game freezes on the opening screen and does not bring the game up. I love this game and have been playing it for a few years, so it is really frustrating that I can’t even get into it now. And, I deleted the game and reinstalled it, thinking that might help, and lost all my progress. I played 3 levels before it froze me out again. Please fix it!

What’s happening!!. Ive been playing this game for a long time now. It’s one of my favorites. However lately ive been noticing a few things i don’t appreciate! For one the tiles will shuffle when there are clearly moves available! For two tiles will switch place with birds or pigs or ducks when they shouldn’t causing you to loose the game!! Move hints are either annoyingly fast or are nonexistent!! Also i purchased hammers and was not allowed to use them!! On top of that the chests give you more outfits you already have!!! I have quit opening the second chest because all i get is bs! Nothing that helps with the game! And ive opened uncountable 500 coin chests before finally getting a bomb! I opened 11 of the 500 coin chests and all i got was extra moves!! Wth! You claimed better rewards but I’m not seeing a change at all! Some of the levels are impossible to win without using boosters! Ive played some levels for three months before finally breaking down and making a purchase!! No game should force you to make a purchase just so you can pass a level!!This better get fixed soon or i am leaving this game and i will tell everyone i know how it’s become a rip off and a cheat! Changing my rating to one star instead of four!!

LoVe it BUT ..... Like many games that came before this one & many more that will come -- BE WARNED -- You will reach a certain point in the game where it will become nearly impossible to advance without having to make in app purchases. I'm there ... there are special quests to earn items to help get through the harder levels, but even those are difficult. If you are able to win one of those ... you get one item. I'm around level 28 -- between needing the "extras" to beat harder levels & burning through 5 lives fast ... I will most likely stop playing so I don't fall into the black hole of in app purchases JUST to keep playing an otherwise awesome game. The graphics are great, the characters are adorable & the game is fun. But, it's very frustrating .... as a user .... that one can only play so far without spending money to advance. If you are like me, you will think ... I can be the exemption & with a little luck & gaming abilities -- make it work. However, you will end up feeling majorly disappointed! Nothing worse than a great game being made into a ploy for money by developers. Deal breaker for this gal. I'm giving it a few more days without spending money - if something changes my current review - I will definitely update. Otherwise, into the FAIL column it will go & deleted from device.

Game is rigged so you cannot win. Normally enjoy this game but yesterday ran into a game that required you to eliminated 12 TNT bombs when the board only has 10 TNT you can eliminate. Tried several turns to see if additional TNT blocks would appear but they do not. This is really frustrating since you cannot proceed to next level. If not fixed will stop playing this game. I am wondering how many people play on thinking that additional TNT spaces will appear & may even be spending money to keep trying to pass faulty game. Diasappointed & Disgruntled soon to become ex-player,

I used to love this game.... Before the last update, I would have given it 5 stars because it’s very entertaining and highly addictive. However, with the latest update, ads started to appear when I choose to Play On. What marketing genius came up with idea to annoy players with loud ads that can’t be skipped when they are choosing an option that brings them closer to paying?!?! Is there a senior executive’s kid that is interning there? Please, if you have the presentation given for this abomination of an idea, I’d love to see it. It will certainly be more entertaining than the annoying ads I’m forced to watch now. Sorry, AB Match, but I might need to start seeing other Match games. It was great while it lasted.

Started out great, but then.... I really enjoy this game and was diggin’ the seasonal challenge, but now I’m stuck and can’t get past a certain level. I have to start from the beginning even when I reach the next to last level. That’s fine. That’s why it’s a challenge. That part that’s frustrating is that I refuse to spend 5 bucks on virtual “money”! I can talk myself into a buck here and there but 5 bucks for just a few extra gems is too much for this cheapskate.

App is glitch has frozen me out.. The app usually is bug free, but after the feather collecting expedition, or challenge, my app keeps try to load the event, then when I try and close out freezes on the “Event expired, please wait” screen and freezes there. I’ve tried deleting and downloading again several times, it will load the level I’m on every time, but after I beat the level we repeat the cycle. I’ve also made sure the app is current on updates and my iPhone in general. Help please?

A game I play daily and love but…... So this is a game I really enjoy and have spent a fair amount of money buying gems and such and I would give it 5 stars, except today my 22 gems and coins (although I’m not sure how many of those) just randomly disappeared. Just bought the gems too. I sent a message in the app and have yet to get a response. Won’t be playing and spending my money anymore if this kind of thing is going to happen.

Fun game, but.... During the recent event in which winning levels allows you to open mystery trunks, there was five times that the game wouldn’t let me dig for keys. I got an error message each time saying it was something to do with my connection, but there was never any issue with my connection and even when I tried to close down the game and restart it, or restart my iPad completely, those previous digs were gone. When I contacted Rovio they blamed it on my connection, but in looking through the help page it’s obvious that many people are having the same issue and Rovio isn’t addressing it. I spend a lot of money on games like this, but I refuse to spend money if they’re not going to fix the problem and or offer additional lives or some other means to address the issue.

expensive in-app purchase & sever constantly down. It is the fun and interesting variation on the match three games. Graphics are nice. Having said that I found its in-app purchase to be very expensive. Let me give you an example, it costs $5 to get a special bundle that includes 3 power ups and 60 diamonds. So each diamond costs about $0.10. To buy 5 extra moves at the end of the turn costs 9 diamonds or $0.90. You don’t need to buy any diamonds or power up at the lower levels, but once past level 200 you will need them. The second problem is that even if you’re willing to spend the money on the power ups and extra moves, the server seems to go down very often. Over the last month since I’ve been playing the game, there has been weekly outages the lasting from 1 to 2 days. Server down again for the entire weekend. Customer service is no help. Very Disappointed ☹️

Frustrating problem on app side. Level 4107 does not have enough candies. I have completely cleared the board and it still says I need to remove one candy. Well there is not anything to remove. I played it several times and it’s a system error. I would like tech support to get back to my message I sent them. I also dislike many of the levels that you can’t pass without using multiple boosts, etc. I no longer find this game enjoyable or relaxing.

Challenging, Cute & Fun at the same time!. This is a great game. I like it because it has a good mix of easy, medium and hard levels. Really tough levels that have taken me many attempts are spaced out between several easier ones. Just be persistent and you will succeed. Free chests with boosters, unlimited lives a few times per day and you can accumulate quite a lot over a few days. I love the super adorable hatchlings too! All-in-all, as perfect as it gets!

Good Game BUT..... I'm enjoying this game very much. It's quick and you do have to think about the moves you make. I play this on my iPhone but it's too small and often mistakes are made. Please make it compatible with IPad2 and when you invent these games remember our senior players. It's more difficult for us to play on small screens. Also, the payout of gems is pretty stingy. I know the idea is to buy gems but really a little generosity goes a long way. The events are great also.

Money money money. I so love this game, but it is ridiculous! The game is set up to have you spend $$&because it will either keep you from winning (if you haven’t bought rubies) or allow you to win (after purchase). This goes on and on it costs 9 rubies to buy 5 moves. Most of the time, you only need to use one of the extra turns to clear the level. At the rate they make you lose, they should roll those extra moves into a bank for you rouse so you aren’t wasting so much money. I am now going to delete it cause I can’t afford it. Apple should investigate this game. They should not be able to control if you win or not. It’s obvious after you play awhile.

Fun but .... I love it. It’s addicting and fun and the music gets stuck in my head. HOWEVER - it’s very frustrating that you have to PAY MONEY to earn gems and it takes FOREVER to earn back lives. I would gladly pay a one time fee for the game. I’d even pay up to $3 for it if it meant I could earn GEMS and LIVES another way other than having to wait hours on end of pay up to $50 for them! Honestly these things are very very frustrating and I’ve gotten to the point where I’d rather just delete the game than play anymore. Which is sad. Cuz it really is fun.

The Cutest Angry Birds Game I Ever Played! 😍. I Really Like The Baby Birds (The Hatchlings) Because They Are Just SO Cute! I Could Watch Them Talk And Walk And Interact With Stuff ALL Day! Not Only Can They Talk To The Player But They Can Talk To EachOther Too! I’ve Seen Them Talk To EachOther A Few Times On My Device And It Was Amazing! And With Lots Of Different Pigs And Other Goals And Stuff It’s Quite The App! Also I’m Not Concerned About This But Why Did You Use The Angry Birds Movie Sprites For The Birds? I’m Just Wondering. You Should AtLeast Try To Download It (If You Have The iOS For It) 5/5 Stars! Thanks!

Bull**it Money Pit. Yeah the only way you advance in this game is if you spend money!! If you a Arcade game be up front. This is a loose if you don’t spend game. Plus I have also been set to get rewards from my tasks that I never received. If you play this game you will spend money with minimum advancement. Do anything with your money except play this game. In addition the game is TOTALLY RIGGED, play a few rounds and spend a hundred (USELESS DOLLARS) on a game that doesn’t give you anything back if you don’t spend money!! THIS GAME IS A TOTAL MONEY PIT!! Beware!! If you don’t believe me get out a card and spend away!! They only reason they have good scores is because of good Marketing!!

Another Good Game Ruined. Recently did the new update. Did not realize as a result of the update the game levels would change. There I was thinking l was going to get another character ( to add to the 3 already had) in the ‘West’ level instead was thrown back into the ‘Camping’ level where I already had all characters. As the result of being thrown back into the other level and already having earned all characters I now have to go over 100 levels to get a new character and back to the ‘West’ level. Glad I decided not to invest money in this game. Had really enjoyed the game even joined on Facebook which is really rare for me. Now a massive disappointment. Much of the fun of playing has gone away with the greedy developers update.

Challenging is a good thing.... Unlike many other games out there, this game starts from the beginning to be challenging to the user. I am writing this review because I had just read a review about this getting to a point where you have to purchase in order to play, they noted they were on level 20. I am currently playing level 41 and thus so far I haven't seen the need to purchase ANYTHING. This is a fun and challenging game, it's not boring repetitive levels for the sake of level advancement and I know this because I have played many match 3 games. Although it still could use some improvement, overall it's a great game. Happy matching!

Will die like candy crush. Very addicting game, mainly because it’s mindless and gives the player something to do while waiting for something or bored. I do understand the makers want some kind of challenge to the game or people won’t purchase boosts, however, it will also be the demise of the game. Players like me who refuse to purchase will move on when the levels get so hard it’s no longer mindless it’s frustrating. Who wants to spend their bored time getting more frustrated? Also the limited lives makes me leave the game, I’ll also forget and not come back. But since I’m not a pay for boosts type of player it’s probably what they want.

Late Level Challenges Ruin Game. This has been my go-to game for a few months now. It’s fun, it’s addictive, it has great graphics and game play and sound. Like other reviewers have said, it can also become a money pit if you’re not careful, but I was willing to deal with that. However, the updates to the much later levels have ruined the game. I’m in the 600 levels and now am introduced to these mushrooms that make levels maddening and impossible. The behaviors of them don’t make sense. They multiply before you can even make a move to prevent them, and it’s not based on time either. To go THIS far into a game that you figure you by this stage you know all the obstacles to and have become accustomed to, and then throw in this maddening and prohibitive new thing just absolutely ruins the game. It’s why I stopped playing candy crush. And apparently it’s why I’ll stop playing what was sadly my favorite game before the mushroom update. Blah. Too bad. I wanted to keep playing, but it’s no fun anymore. Needless update sucked all the fun out of a once great game

Great, fun game. Awesome game, would like to see option to turn off the tutorial, especially if have to re-download the game. It's annoying when I already know how to play the game. Other than that, it's a great way to relax, and have a bit of fun. The keys to the chests are great for prizes so you don't have to purchase anything, and the events are also great to take a break from trying to beat the levels and win power ups. Love the game.

Quitting this game. I really enjoyed this game despite the horrendous ads until recently. The Bathurst competition ad never ends… no way to exit the ad it just stays there, so many rewards lost because of this. Have asked for support and no response. So see ya. I’ll find something else.

Hate updates. I love this game and love the challenges. However, after this last seasonal (Christmas) challenge, the game keeps freezing. The only way to get out is to close the game. No rewards when opening chests.. I’ve been using my thread to get the outfits and open the chests. The last three I opened did not give me the bonus for claiming the chest. I used 45,000 points and was disappointed to only receive a check mark that the set was complete. Is there a glitch and how can I claim the rewards? Thank you.

Quite a lot of bugs in the last levels. I love this game but I'm getting tired of the bugs. It makes it even harder to get through a level. What with persisting jellies that don't go away when you hit them and pigs that sit on tokens so even when you shoot them they stay. Please have a look at the levels from 1000 on.

Impossible to pass this level. In the Lunar New Year 2020 part two level two you have to get rid of 12 tnt boxes but it only gives you 10. Impossible to pass this level

No longer a fan. I don’t love the changes. The extra challenge used to give you independent levels to play so you could still chill out and play even if you’re stuck in the main game. Now if I’m stuck on a hard level thats too bad, that’s the level I have to play so I can’t progress. I used to play this daily and have even bought gems which I don’t really do. Totally addictive and such fun!. I downloaded this game to play while waiting in doctor’s rooms for appointments. I did have all the different Angry Birds games on my phone at one point but Angry Birds Match has become the only game I play daily on my phone and I just love it. The tournaments are fun to play for something different from the level by level game play. I’ve had no technical issues with the game on my iPhone and it’s pretty easy to transfer from and old phone to a new one. I thoroughly recommend Angry Birds Match!

Play on videos glitching. When I play videos to “play on”. Videos end and then freezes. The only way to continue is to close app and reopen. Very frustrating.

Thinly veiled ad platform. Okay, so it’s a candy crush clone. No surprise there, and actually what I’m looking for. Really like the graphics and the gameplay has potential. (Although so far use of birds has been pretty unimaginative - standard dispersal patterns.) Then I find that after EVERY match you don’t get a ‘next level’ button, but rather a ‘home’ button. That’s right, between every level you have to go back to the main screen, then choose next. Stupid. Terrible design, -2 stars. And then after a match, trying to go ‘home’, and boom! Full screen video ad. 30 secs and initially unstoppable. Had to furious tap around to find the x in top right corner. Obnoxious. -2 stars. But if you can deal with those two ‘features’, great game. 😂

Crashes too much. Happy to watch an ad to get a second chance to complete a level, but lately the app freezes at the end of ads, especially Royal Match, and I end up watching ads for no benefit. Extremely frustrating.

Birds. I didn’t know how addictive the game was until I started to play. The colours of the birds and symbols were so bright and clear which made the game enjoyable to play. So here goes to the next couple of hours of my day spent playing this game.

Needs new update. The newest game has a new little dimensional silver guy that you are supposed to get when you launch 5 birds but it’s not working so there is no way to beat level one in the new event 😡

Addictive game.. The game is very fun and addictive. However, certain ads you only need to press the X button twice to exit. While sometimes it takes five times to exit the ad. Sometimes I’m waiting 60 seconds just to exit from a 30 second ad. Very fun game !. I have been playing this games for a couple of years now and here what I feel would be an improvement. When boosters with a time restriction are won or given, I feel the time should start only when I start the level. Not as soon as I claim it . Such a waste this way. And also there is a lot of tapping to claim. I shouldn’t have to tap 2-3 time to claim the same item. Otherwise , great game and a lot of fun.

Feels old and outdated. Back when this game came out in 2017, it was good. Once upon a time, the game had a story and you used the gold coins you collected to buy decorations. Sadly is gone now in favor of how many different hatchlings can you get and dress up. All that remains is a mediocre match 3 game and a cash grab. - They need to freshen up this game by adding new obstacles other than grass and birds nest (which is the only 2 obstacles they added in last 3 years), reintroduce characters like silver and make worlds that don’t span 1000 levels and new levels, rather than copies of past levels and boards. I’ve made it to level 10000, which is their max level at the time I’m reviewing. What I thought would be their milestone level and they would do something special for it, nope …turned to be an average I’ve seen before.

I just sequentially played level 31 and 32 and completed each in 1 move….1 MOVE! My gf’s cat could pull that off. Who are you catering to? Deleting this game. Great game. Have been enjoying “Match” for a couple of years now. It’s great that you can stay in the game even if you’re not winning every board. The variety of games is good too. Some are easy, some very difficult and some with a challenge. I love it. Only thing is I don’t win enough levels to get hatchlings. I’ve collected a vast majority but now must wait until I reach the next level to get another one. This means I have collected over 1.5 million thread points but can’t use them for anything. All in all, it’s a load of fun.👍👍👍👍👍

Challenging, Cute & Fun at the same time!. This is a great game. I like it because it has a good mix of easy, medium and hard levels. Really tough levels that have taken me many attempts are spaced out between several easier ones. Just be persistent and you will succeed. Free chests with boosters, unlimited lives a few times per day and you can accumulate quite a lot over a few days. I love the super adorable hatchlings too! All-in-all, as perfect as it gets!

I why so many updates and no offline play. This is a fun game but it can only be played with data use and does not work if you are not connected to the internet. Not sure why since the game is pretty simple and the “updates “ are just new scenes overlay on the same formula of games. The required updates seem unnecessary. The new outfit bonuses are supposed to give you better rewards. Not true. Same quality of rewards. Still a fun game. Just too much interruption for no good reason.

Needs refreshing.. I used to love this game. It was my absolute favorite but once it changed from seasonal levels it has been no fun. There aren’t enough moves to beat the levels and the game keeps cutting out especially when you try to get an extra three moves or a treasure chest. It’s like there’s a glitch in it or something. Will definitely miss playing this as it was my favorite.

Fun game but....... Really having fun with the game but I know that soon the levels will get harder to solve and I'll be asked to purchase game apps. I'd much rather pay for the game up front instead of being coerced into spending more money than I would have paid to own the game. Usually I keep playing until it's too hard to advance without purchasing coins. At that point I frequently just delete the game. Such a pity when I find a fun game.

Fun and cute. I really enjoy this game, and the Hatchlings are adorable. However, there are a few bugs I have noticed. If I use a booster for three extra moves, the level ends when I have one move left on the counter instead of at zero. Also, I am rarely able to accept the gifts on the seasonal quests. The gift box will light up when it is ready, but the play arrow does not appear and I cannot click on the gift to open it. Clicking just makes the Hatchlings run there.

Gem hijack:hmm(?). I understand (like others have stated ) revenue has to be earned for developers BUT I accidentally purchased gems multiple times. My bad!! Having said that; There should be a “cancel” or clarification to purchase red gems. This is frustrating when it requires SO MANY to continue on. #9 gems & 5 additional moves: cmon?? Also: during the 1st section of country fair, i was cheated out of a shovel dig due to “network issues” righttt! No longevity prospects here! Cute characters though. Why even accumulate coins btw? Really now !!

Game keeps freezing. Help! I’ve played this game for over a year and I’m so addicted because it’s so much fun, but the past two days every time I open the game to play within 4-5 moves the screen freezes and I have to close the game out to get back in, so I lose any boosts or in app boosters I’ve paid for! I so love this game, please fix this problem and to be reimbursed for money paid to assist with levels would be grateful appreciated!

Just a few things.... Love the game (cute and super addicting), but it doesn't contain anything that relates to a Q&A or a help section that I could see, nor was I able to figure out what to do with my little chickadees when they spew little unhappy face speech-bubbles. I'm on my second set of chickies or level, and still no helpful tools/boosts unlocked to choose from before the level starts. It would be more understandable and more fun if those things were fixed! Angry birds match. I love the game! BUT, 9 gems is too much to continue playing when you run out of moves, and you ONLY get 5 more plays. And the game is set up to make you HAVE TO continue using/buying gems to move to the next level or to win a challenge. I’ve spent a great deal of money playing this game because I really enjoy playing it. BUT I get no real benefits to continuously spending. Now, enough is enough. I’m not buying anymore.

Treasure chests not awarded. Every 8 hours, players are awarded treasure chests which include free game time or boosters. There are other opportunities to earn chests by watching an ad, these are NEVER awarded. I also played the entire 2 week valentines campaign and spent quite a bit for extra boosters doing so but was never awarded my prizes at the end. I’ve reached out to their tech support to ask when I’ll be compensated and when they’ll fix this issue but thus far, I’ve only been told to check my connection. There’s nothing wrong with my WiFi. It’s sad because I enjoy the game itself but can not afford to continue to be cheated.

Extremely frustrating!!. I have played this game for a couple years now. I loved it!! However; within the last couple months, there have been too many glitches! If I’m stuck on a level for a couple days and am almost completing it, I will purchase gems to add more moves. When I purchase the moves, it freezes and won’t allow me to get back to the game. This happens 9 out of 10 times now. I’m done spending money on this game until this glitch is fixed. Without the glitches, it will be a 5 star rating.

One of my favorite games!. I am on level 651 and I have never paid a dime of my money. It is a fun and addictive game. If I have issues with a level, I don’t sweat it. I just keep trying and eventually I will beat it. I refuse to waste my real money on fake gems, etc. I love the free treasure chests with prizes. Especially when you get the free unlimited lives for 20 minutes to 24 hours of play time.

Update!. Ok. A few days ago when I signed in to the game there was a notice to update the game. I’ve clicked on “update” at least half a dozen times. Each time time I do it brings me to the “update” page on Applications. However, the only thing it instructs (lets) me to do is “open” the App. When I click on “open” brings me back to the “Update” page. It’s frustrating! Why won’t it update???? PLEASE FIX THIS! Thanks

Angry birds match. I love the game but it will be so nice when one match is over to start right away a new one. It’s been 2 days the match was over and still waiting for a new one. Do my rewards are lost. Like the 6 hours and other stuff. Either put more days on one match until the next one is ready. We don’t even know when the next one will be ready. I put 4 stars because I still love the game but it needs improvements.

I really love this game but... I really love this game. I think it is so cute and clever. I think it’s different than most match 3 games. Mainly because you can use the birds. I love the music, sound effects and graphics. The only complaint I have is not enough moves. When you have a lot of mud to clear and a lot of piggies to get rid of, it makes the game harder with less moves. If there is a lot of mud to clear I suggest at least 35 to 40 moves. Not 28 moves. Otherwise this game is enjoyable to play.

Fun. The game is fun so far. I'm on level 21 and it hasn't been hard yet. It's fun to pick out outfits. Also good graphics. I will not pay to play the game if it gets too hard in the future. That's my rule. I'll play a new game until you have to pay money to get through levels. At that point, I will delete the game and find a new one. Addictive but to getting too costly to finish levels and challenges.. I really enjoy this game BUT while my iPod Touch is STILL connected to the internet I still get notifications that the game isn’t connected. Please fix. Also the mini and multi day special challenges are becoming impossible to complete. I am guessing that this is so we will spend more money to finish. I don’t play the pond challenge for this very reason. Probably going to stop playing the other challenges and just play the standard boards.

Too many issues. Since last couple updates when you try to push a tile in a certain directions it goes the wrong way….a pain in my arse…too many glitches that favor the game..no fun anymore…still aggravated about the angry programmed to identify how many red diamonds you have and also what tools you’ve acquired and the game try’s to use everything up so you’ll buy more..YUCK BOOO! Annoyed with trying to push to a new square and it does something else…I’m positive it’s all programmed in to try and get money….ridiculous!

Game is okay, but glitchy - and support is horrible. The actual game play is fun. However, I reached a level (2163) that will not load. An obvious glitch in the game. I have to force the app closed in order to do anything. This is annoying and frustrating, but games have glitches.. The biggest issue I have, is the support. I filed a support ticket about my issue.. and Rovio’s “response” was to close out my ticket without any response or solution to the issue. It’s like they think they can ignore all the issues people have and they just don’t exist. Frustrating. Glad I didn’t drop any money into this game.

Loathe new update. Been playing for awhile now and was a pretty regular in-app purchaser but this latest update is awful. They have either hit the ceiling in their development so now trying to push purchases as the only option or they aren't getting enough new users to maintain their expenses either way it doesn't pass the smell test. Coins are missing. Gems cant be acquired. Levels have all gone from difficult to impossible and you cant get anything in chests but spools of string....its bizarre. Too bad, loved the game but ill spend my money elsewhere.

What’s the point?. I guess the point is almost always: to make money. I stopped playing Candy Crush because there were periodically levels on which you would get stuck because of the difficulty. Where’s the fun in that? Hey, I’ve been around the block a few times - figured out that we’re supposed to get so frustrated that we spend money on in-app purchases. But that doesn’t work for me. So, just as I did with Candy Crush, I will be deleting this game once I write this review. Because - bottom line - it has ceased to be fun.

Quality higher than many. The graphics and functions of this game are obviously higher quality than many other matching games I've played. They've also done a great job of making me NOT feel stupid — movement within the game is very intuitive. Not looking forward to loving the game and then getting shut off by pay levels…

Meh. I find in only the second level I ran into a wall, took my well over four days to finally get a lucky combo run. It feels as though this game caters to those who will pay 10$ to get a terribly small amount. I know comparing it to World of Warcraft is terrible, but I can spend 20$ on a token and basically get 200k gold.... this app will more than likely get deleted soon, I am not spending money on an app that gives so little in return. As cute as the little birds are, hitting walls so early in the game just is not worth it.

Please make more levels!. Well, I’ve completely finished the game. Normally, I would go back to previous levels and make sure everything had three sorry but you can’t do that with AB Match. You’re just done playing until whenever they decide to make some levels. It’s a really fun game which is how I got through it so fast and I definitely recommend it.

Really!?!. I like the game well enough but I do think it is ridiculous that when they give you unlimited for however long, you end up using it all on 1 level. I keep trying the events and get no where close to completing any of them. I get maybe 4 of the 8 (or however many since I haven’t made it that far). I would like to complete at least 1 event so I could win the big prize but that will NEVER seem to happen. Just spent another “free hour of unlimited lives” on 1 level and still not past it. I call BS. Just because the name is angry birds I don’t think it should make you angry playing it!

Too greedy!!. No enough lives, too greedy!!! Very painfully to update, every time a update is available, you will know, the app will stop working until you obey the update screen blocking your game, but that’s where the loop start, hit UPDATE and will take you to the app page in AppStore - in the AppStore it will show a OPEN option (stead of Update) - hit Open then it will take you back to the update screen blocking the game, over and over until one day it actually updates.

Angry Birds Match. Fun game. Addictive. As the game goes on, its harder to acquire the baby birds and earn the extra birds to help out. There should be a free way to earn bomb and the rest at times outside of opening a periodical chest....... the baby birds have outfits that are in the chests or of course you use coins that are not abundant hence spend money to buy more coins. Who cares what they wear?!?! Just an added cost. Make it a little more alluring and easier to gain the helpful birds without spending a fortune and you've got a 5 star game!

Facebook Sync is ANNOYING. I don’t mind the new challenges, but WHY does it ask me to sync with Facebook every single time I open the app. Even if I switch to my messages app to answer a text and go back to the game, it still asks me to sync with Facebook. I say no every single time, and there’s no setting to switch that off. Other than that it’s a great game, but that one thing is annoying enough to make me stop playing.

Good game bad at making it easy to play in public. To get any freebies in the game you must watch an ad, no problem with that. But many of the ads won’t let you mute them therefore I must constantly turn the sound up and down when playing in public. It is not worth the hassle. I will just reload the game. I will NEVER download a game that will NOT let me mute it.

Great but need more lives!!. I started playing this as soon as it came out. Some of the levels are easy and some are very challenging. The game is fun but definitely need more lives. It would be great to see a full set of lives when playing the extra daily (2 day challenges). Keeping the lives separate could help with continues play and game play satisfaction levels... which increases the likelihood of spending money... just food for thought.

Can’t get to hatchlings clothes. This is getting really ridiculous, I’ve spent so much time on this game(which I do enjoy) but come every time I try to change the hatchlings clothes I get knocked out the game so I uninstalled and reinstalled for the 2nd time to only come back to a game that has lost all my progress 🤦‍♀️ WTH. Not to mention I even done the whole “put in a ticket” for problems and complaints. Still haven’t heard anything back! Sadly all the gems I had bought are gone and it is still throwing me out the game.

I play EVERYDAY.... I really enjoy playing In the tournaments weekly. I like challenging myself to score better in each tournament. The only thing about the game is the 6 hours you get for finishing The is no way I can sit for 6 hours stalraight to play. Maybe the time can be split into 2-3 hour and held to choose when you want to play!! Other than that I love playing! 😁

Getting disappointed. I also would have given five stars until the last couple of of updates. I really don’t care to play it like I use to , you get less and less rubies for completing levels and when I use the treasure chests getting less also. And a lot of the changes are just annoying. Just getting disappointed with a game that I have been playing since the beginning and absolutely would recommend to friends but won’t anymore.

My favorite game. This is the first game I go to, very fun and addictive! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the fact that every so often the game makes you wait for days for new levels and it seems to always happen while I have free time. That is very annoying. I have never played a game that makes you wait for more levels. Maybe it’s because I never purchase any thing from the ads!

Why block current game level to force updates. I have recently returned to this game, while in an area without reliable cell service. Please be aware that some games don’t block access as this one did. I spend an hour or more waiting for an update, and can only get access when no go into town. No service in this mountain, and I am happy without it, truth be told. I just want a few fun games to unwind in the evenings. Looks like this one can’t be one of the ones I keep.

Fun game. This game is fun, and not too hard to beat levels. Not sure what the complaints are about having to purchase things to advance. I've made it to level 100 without having to shell out money, I won't play games that require that. The birds and levels are a fun twist on this style of game. My only complaint is that I wish lives refreshed quicker. 30 minutes for one life is way too long.

Why Do I Have to Connect to Facebook for Saving Progress?. I have played this game for well over a year. After getting a new phone & downloading the app to a new device, all my progress was lost from BOTH of my devices. Now it’s practically demanding that I connect to Facebook in order to save my progress? Thank you for allowing me to get addicted to a game & then forcing me to stop playing it by having to connect to Facebook.

Love this game :). First time writing a review on a game on here but it is deserving of my first. I’ve been played almost 2700 levels of this game and it always keeps me coming back. It’s challenging and fun, there is almost always an event going on and always earning boosts etc. I’ve played lots of match games but the birds and pigs give it a unique gameplay. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys puzzle/match games.

⁉️. I wish when they say I have a 20 days I actually had 20 days the “days” go by fast one day I’m looking at it it says 20 days few hours go by and and I’m down to 18 days then when it says I have 20 min unlimited lives it starts 19:50 that makes zero sense and the new updates you get gold bronze points but barely any cash. Also when it gives me 2 days of unlimited lives it’s never a full 2 days wish the developers would fix this. I’ve edited my review so many times because there’s a lot that needs to be fixed I like the game but now when a play challenge I get absolutely nothing when I open my chest. FIX THE GAME

It used to be good.... I’ve been playing this game on and off for over a year, and recently it has changed. I am so sick of games making me click 5 different things trying to get me to spend money on their game! I just want to play and work through the levels...if I need help, yes, I might buy some upgrades, but don’t make me close 5 different windows before I even play! I’m over it.

Too many impossible levels. It’s too often now that levels are impossible to complete, even after many tries, and even with using coins over and over to get boosts from the 500 coin treasure chests. It’s as if the only way to complete more than a few levels in a row (whether in regular play or during special events) is to spend lots of real world dollars to buy lots of in-game gems. It seems unfair and it’s a turn off. And the worst part is, I really used to enjoy this game...

Fun game. I think the game is great- addicting and challenging. I agree with others that the coins are kind of useless to advance when you are stuck or out of lives. The gem packs are not a good deal or otherwise I would be happy to buy a few packs now and then. I like the game a lot, but those few things make it 4 Stars. The quests are really great though and happen frequently making it incentivizing to come back and play some more.

New glitches. Love this game and never had a problem until now. When I try to get 3 more moves by watching a video, it plays a video and then goes right back to the screen offering more moves by watching a video. Then it freezes and I have to get out of the game, losing all progress on the one I was playing. I tried sending a message to support but never heard anything . Very disappointing.

Tiny Detail. I really have always liked the Angry Birds games. But my favorite game thus far is Nibblers. When the same promise was given with this specific game, I was ecstatic. It does not disappoint! However, it is far smaller than the Nibblers format. It’s a tiny square space versus the big space that is used in the Nibblers format. This includes the characters and the general screen space. I have to use the time in tips of my fingers to play 😉 It would be nice if this could be worked on.

Cheats you out of rewards. When you are collecting outfits for the mystery chest, and claim a mystery chest, then it womt open for some sort of failure on your part, then you say don’t worry you’re not gonna lose anything, well wrong. I lose the rewards every time, because you give it a check marked that it was claimed, but I never saw any rewards! No rubies, no bombs, no extra moves, nothing. It’s a total scam. I agree with other players, either change it up or I am also going to stop playing.

Paying money for gems and gets stuck.. I can’t advance to new level and even had my leagues go down in eggs because of it. I buy gems and it gets stuck. It pays for it and then nothing happens. I get the feathers circling. I’ve paid over 20 in gems and every time the game gets stuck. I’m in the upper level of 800. Shouldn’t be getting stuck and having to reboot to start all over. Used to be fun now it’s not. Been like this for a month or so and I have the update app. I give up. Not playing anymore

Frustrating to update. I love this game and play it daily! I never look forward to forced updates though because after it’s updated, I can’t play for a few days. The game keeps prompting me to update and doesn’t let me click off of the page. When I go to the update, it just tells me to open bc it has been updated. I just want to play!!

Agree with "Love it BUT". Agree with Love it, BUT... All these games are the same with different colors and characters. Running out of lives is maybe a good thing so you don't play too long... but the in app purchases make it so I eventually stop playing... so that's how the developers get rich... and I want no excuses, my husband is a developer, you don't have to make the game this way, to feed your greed. I like this game a whole lot, otherwise!!!
