YOU NEED THIS APP. If I didn’t have this app I know for sure I wouldn’t have passed! I downloaded a lot of apps and none of them helped me but this one helped so much! It gives you the reasons to what the answers are! Marks the ones you have gotten wrong so you can practice those! And most of the questions on my exam were on here! I waited 6 months to take my test, and I know more now then I did in cosmetology school because of this app! The 10 bucks is worth it!

Great testing technique and very helpful. The questions were very well-written and really helped me to understand the material better. They were also very similar to the actual state board exam questions so they truly increased my readiness and confidence for taking the state board exam. Shari Thorson is a very knowledgeable and experienced teacher and the way her tests are designed is to truly help with learning the key material in the milady book.

Helpful app. Less than a month away from testing and so far this app has impressed me. Not only does it tell you if you are wrong on a question but it will also give you a brief description of what the correct answer would be . I also think it is very good if you need to focus on certain chapters because there are reviews that will test you on that subject itself:)

This helped me so much!. During the pandemic, our theory time at school was cut really short since we were online. Since I graduated in September after being online for 6 months, I had to study on my own for my state board test. This app helped me sooo much! I live in Maryland and this all was pretty similar to the test

Prepping for state boards. I like how this test keeps track of the questions you get wrong. You can “reset” the exam and study the questions you are studying with! I’ve been studying for a few days and my grades are getting better and better.

I passed my exam!!. This app was so helpful. I was struggling to focus on the books and worksheets I have. Initially it’s free. But to get access to all quizzes it was $9.99 a month. Compared to other apps it was so cheap. I was a little worried that it wouldn’t be as good. But after using your app everything sunk in better. I used it nonstop for 2 days before my boards exam. And I’m happy to say I got a 95! Thank you!

Having slight Trouble. I like the app no doubt about it, but I spent 30$ I expect to not see misspelled words or literal incorrect answers, that I know for a fact is incorrect, but was considered correct. For answer the was wrong but considered correct The Question was: The muscles at the base of the fingers that draw fingers together. When I chose “Adductors it was considered incorrect, so when I looked it up, the answer I chose was correct but the app said it was incorrect. The wrong/correct answer for the app it self was considered Abductors. If I’m spending money to study for my exam, how will I know whether I’m studying the correct answer????

I love it. I love this app. It doesn’t hurt to try it. It’s free for a lesson. After the first lesson you’ll love it and will continue to get the other test. They are worth it. When I saw the reviews I was able to see that the developer is actively working on this app. I love it. I want to thank the developer. I have been struggling to study for my state board test because I’m not good when it comes to study. So many thing that I have to do during the day and at night my baby sleeps at 10pm which lets me super tired and I try to study from my book but i don’t know why i can’t retain the information in my head!!! PASSED on my first exam. Hi! I definitely do recommend this app because you will learn a lot! I’ve always struggled with learning….so this app proved me wrong it’s the best! It will tell you right there if the answer is wrong or correct! Also gives you the definitions of the words! What really helped me was The section of the “ questions I got wrong “ so I will go over those all the time! Some questions on here were similar to the actual test so that’s a bonus! I think what helped me as well was the fact that this app gives you the definitions to terms and also gives you techniques to remembering words that look similar! Learning the terms will help so much! God is with you! Go kill this exam!❤️

Phenomenal. I love it. Im literally sitting in a radiology waiting lobby & im just taking practice exams and studying each subject. I think its great practice when you’re sitting around not doing anything or waiting around. I have an exam coming up but this app brings my confidents up a little higher cause i’ll always have this to study. Pretty dope fam 👏🏽.

Passed on the first try!. If you’re horrible at studying and constantly keep your phone in your hand, this app is for you!! I graduated Cosmetology school 4 years ago! Yes, 4 years, and hadn’t taken my theory exam. Mainly out of fear of failing. Fast forward, I found this app, paid for the subscription, and continued the journey to being officially licensed. I love how its broken down into sections from science/anatomy to Hair design. Not to mention mock exams available to you that vary the questions as the real exam will. I passed my exam on the first try thanks to this app. Don’t think about it, buy it and study hard! Good luck!

STATE BOARD. I failed the first theory exam I took, and used this app to study for 2 weeks until my re-take. It had the most similar questions that were on the state board test for GA. I passed my exam after using this app to study vs. milady textbooks and psi practice tests. I highly recommend using this app as a study aid if you are preparing for the theory exam.

The Absolute Best. I was hesitant on getting this app for my state board to practice for my cosmetology this app 100% helped me pass with flying colors. It was on TikTok where I saw that someone had used it I had searched high and low to help me to make sure I passed my state board in this 100% helped me out of all the other apps that I have tried. It gives you the definition of why the question is wrong which is a plus instead of just telling you that it’s wrong with no explanation.

Excellent app, highly recommend. I passed my written state board exam a couple weeks ago. I recommend this app to my friends that are going to be taking it. It’s a very beneficial study tool. It doesn’t have state specific law questions, so that should be studied separately. Overall I highly recommend this app. It was very worth it.

Pay the 9.99. I failed my cosmetology exam 3 times. But on the 4th time I used this app and passed. I was constantly reviewing questions using this app wherever I was through out the day and it paid off.

Almost perfect. Great app with a lot of good information that can help you study. I took a star off because there isn’t a shuffle options for exam questions. I can’t tell if I’m memorizing the order of the answers or if I’m actually learning at times. Another thing that would be nice is if you could reverse the same flash card for the question and answer. So instead of the question listing symptoms and the answer is the disease, for that same flash card have an option to list the disease and then the answer is the symptoms.

This app is BOMB 💣. Been using it for one of my studying tools and it is helping me retain the information and Im so happy with. I’ve bombed my state board before but with the help of this app, it’s made me more confident in taking the test once again. I know I will pass ! Thank you so much 💕

the best study app for cosmetology students. i currently graduated from cosmetology school and and have been studying for my written and my friend recommended this app and yes you do have to pay but it’s totally worth and the price isn’t too bad so that’s awesome but It really helps me i 100% recommend this all for people studying for the written or struggling to pass!

It’s a decent app. I was referred to this app as someone who was formerly licensed and is now attempting to get recertification. While it is a decent app, there are so many things that need improvement. I try not to work through the app with biases… but as a former public school educator myself, this definitely needs plenty of improvements. Lots of the questions are the same content, flipped around, or changing a word or two. Some of the answers are incorrect or not based on the book (I’m in SC using the Milady study content). I’ve found that answers for one unit is found on answers from units that may be chapters ahead. Please please review these questions and make them a bit more thought provoking instead of being basic recall information especially being as it’s $10 a month,

I passed the state board with flying colors!. I found this app one day while looking for a way to study for my Florida state board. I really liked how it broke down the questions into specific topics as well as had multiple tests with everything mixed together. It was really nice that when you missed a question there was an explanation as to why right there. No searching and wondering what you got wrong. I 100% have recommended this app to everyone in my class. I passed my state board the first time!

Passed In Nc. just passed my exam yesterday with a 81!! I paid 9.99 for everything to be organized and Straight to the point. I’ve paid more in physical book copies like the Milady one ( $50+) I’m more of a visual learner, If you are too study all the practice exam tests they have. If you want to go deeper you can do the individual categories but safe to say It’s worth $10. I don’t have to drive 30+ mins plus a reschedule and fees. Hope this helps someone out!

Hate that I can’t buy!. I think this is an AMAZING app! I do! But someone with ADHD who has failed cosmetology test 3 times now, stressing about money. I hate that I have to do a subscription for $10 a month! Why can’t I just buy this full app with everything included for a price?!!! I pay $50 every time I do state board exam, help a girl out here! I’m not asking for hand out! I will pay but I’ve had this app for over a year now so do the math!

Great study tool!. I recently graduated from the hairstyling program, and am studying for my written boards. I like that I can choose categories that are specific to hair, I love the question of the day, and I think it’s really handy to be able to easily find the questions I’ve gotten wrong. I’ve only taken one of the state board practice exams, and even though it has skin and nail questions it was really helpful to have a mixture of all the subjects in one practice exam. Great app, has everything you need in one place!

The BEST creation ever!!!. I am currently a Student at Aveda Institute. I graduated high school in 2009 and can’t tell you the last time I took a major exam! My school printed out the mock exams so that I could study, but that did not work for me. I was not retaining the information. I would go over the questions & check my answers with the last sheet of the packet. Any questions/answers I was unsure of, I had to pull out my book to figure out the why’s. With this app, all I had to do was click the question “?” mark and it explained it to me right then and there. Not only does it give you the mock exams, it breaks down each individual section into its own tests! Anatomy & Physiology, Chemicals, Electricity, Skin Disorders, Nail Diseases & Disorders, etc. It also has a tab for “questions I got wrong” so that I could go back and easily look over what I missed. Talk about AMAZING! For only $10 a month! I spend $10 on food and snacks so why not put it towards my future right?! Needless to say I passed my state board practical....the first time!!!! Tears of joy!!!! I would recommend this app to the entire universe! It’s so worth it!!! Pay the $10! I promise you won’t regret it!❤️

SO thankful for this app. I have never written a review on an app before but this app truly deserves 5 stars! I tried all methods of studying for my cosmetology exam..(flash cards, pass pass pass, miladys book, etc) and nothing even came close to this app. This app is extremely convenient, easy to use, cheap, and will definitely help you pass your test! I truly could not have passed my exams without this app. 10/10 recommend!

WAS WORTH THE MONEY. Good questions: not exactly like the actual test, but if you buy the exams on this it will help study for them. Easy to understand: questions and answers are mapped out well, provider easier learning experience. 4/5 stars: the only thing I would change is add a few more diverse questions. There’s already so many questions and diverse ones at that, but I feel like it could have used a little more !

Read the policy. In the policy they have it written that if the information you bought is missing and basically you have to repurchase it and it happened to me having to repurchase them I have my test coming up and I need that I formation it’s great information and a great tool but there is no customer service because of how they wrote the policy I think that is just getting money out of people for no reason

Love this app!. The best app to study for you cosmetology exam, I pass my exam on the second try. I would have pass the first time if I didn't panic and change answers got a 68 first time, second time 85 it's only a 70 to pass. I just focus on the sections and practice every day, you will pass too, I'm now a Master Cosmetologist, Thank You

Passed My Exam!!!. I paid the $10/a month subscription and got to take all the exams and got to cancel the subscription after i was done studying. I only needed the subscription for the month of my test so i only to pay $10 once. The questions are basically the same on the exam, there were some questions on my exam that weren’t on the app but about 95% of the questions were on the app.

Passed my exam on the first try. Used this to study for a whole month before my exam in CA and I love how it has individual subjects, 7 practice exams, question of the day, AND questions I got wrong. I first did every individual subject, went through the ones I got wrong and randomly started picking practice exams. It does have the definitions and reasons why for certain answers so I used that information to make flash cards. Also even if you pick the wrong answer it doesn’t tell you the right one until you actually click on it which really helps you learn instead of automatically showing you. I do recommend buying the whole set bc it’s only $10 and it really does help you prepare. Thank you guys!!!

Definitely worth it.. This app is super helpful & has all the questions you will need to know the answers to. It’s straightforward, easy to use, and so much cheaper than a lot of the other options. Pay that $10 a month to get unlimited access to all the exams. Using it on my phone makes it so much easier than going through pages and pages of notes and videos !!

This app is ideal & exactly what I was looking for!. The questions are thorough and it automatically saves the questions you got wrong into a separate exam to focus on later. There are 7 overall exams with 105 questions each and then exams for each subject individually. It’s easier than making flashcards for all of the chapters yourself. I only needed it for one month so it cost me $10. I spend more than that on food I shouldn’t buy anyways and this is actually really helpful. (I have not taken the cosmetology exam yet but I am already licensed in esthetics and the questions have the same format/quality of what my esthetics exam was so I feel like that they will adequately prepare me for my cosmetology exam) Highly recommended!

Definitely Recommend. I had went to cosmetology school 6 years ago and didn’t really have interest afterwards on if I really wanted to do hair. I decided recently I wanted to take my test to start working in a salon and give the career path a chance. Only thing is I waited so long to take the test I didn’t remember all the stuff I learned back in school to successfully pass the test. I seen this app had good reviews so I figured why not give it a try? Either way I didn’t remember some of the information from what I learned back then and really wanted to pass. It was nice that you can purchase all the tests for $9.99. They have each section that will be covered in your exam. I would do the tests when I had free time and didn’t have to carry around any big books. It was super nice to find out the right answer if you got it wrong along with the explanation of what the right answer was. The best app for studying for the theory test!. Today I took my NJ Cosmo theory test and I exclusively used this app to study, bought 4 of the practice tests and it helped a lot, so many of the questions I had in this app were on the test and I give my success to this apps amazing up to date tests and the explanations that come with each question. My future in this industry is thanks to the developers of this app! Five starts I would give more if I could.

Just passed my theory. I took my California state board yesterday and I passed the written thanks to this app cause I didn’t remember nothing and I hadn’t been to school in 1 year only reason i give 4 not 5 is because the questions are very repetitive. If they could switch up the questions this would be better than milady

BEST MOCK EXAM EVER. I have failed my exams twice, I couldn’t figure out why I was failing my exams. I done study everyday up too my exams dates. I have spent money on flash cards, on to have extra access to my learning path but yet it wasn’t enough. I downloaded this app and it’s the closest thing to the exams. Bilingual user. It has really helped me understand the meaning of some words. Vocabulary is the hardest thing for me bc my native language is Spanish and since I started using this app I understand things much better

Best prep for the written exam!. Wow! I had to retake the written exam to transfer other state's license, did not have the textbook, haven't studied the theory for 17 years. EXTREMELY HELPFUL YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED. Hello, let me just start off by saying this app is 100% worth it. I had attended the Aveda Institute and finished the whole cosmetology course in NO hopes of getting my license cause at that time I wasn’t sure in the path I was heading? Fast forward to 4 years I finally worked the courage to take my test, but the only thing was that I didn’t retain any of the information when I was in school. I came across this app, seen excellent reviews and very affordable to get every bit of material you need. Let’s just say I’m not a good test taker and I really shocked myself to see me pass it on my first try. BEST STUDY APP EVER. Oh my gosh. If I could give this app a million stars I would. My cosmetology school was AWFUL and I graduated feeling like I learned nothing. I saw a tik tok of a girl saying she used this app to study and passed, so i thought I’d give it a try. This is the ONLY thing I used to study for my cosmetology written exam. I just passed my written with an 87 ALL THANKS TO THIS APP!!!! I will be recommending this to all of my cos friends about to graduate!!! Passed my exam with EASE!!. I took my exam and passed earlier today and I couldn’t end the day without rating this app a 5⭐️!! Terminology and content on this app is SO accurate to the real thing! Pregnancy and boards. I was 32 weeks pregnant when I graduated cosmetology school so I held off on my boards until after I gave birth. Two months later I realized how hard it was -trying- to study, write notecards, and take care of a baby that I almost gave up my dream career. I absolutely LOVE this app and how easy it is to use. Studying. It’s a great studying tool when I first started I took a practice test on psi exams to see where I was cause I been out of school for 5 years I was at a 38 ive been using this app for 3 weeks and made a 87 on anothe rpractice exam... stay consistent it’s great. Life saver.. I was getting my North Carolina license and this app reviewed the basics and what to expect yes it may be a little costly (5$ per a survey) but it’s better than paying the fee to retake it! Would highly recommend the questions were PERFECTION

Review. The app was very easy to understand and go through. The questions were good and the multiple-choice was challenging. Sometimes they only give one good answer and that’s not really any help that is just guesswork. Overall I think it was a very good app.

I am impressed. With only 2 days left till the test I have found this app and through you have to pay for other test exams it’s okay. I do like it.

It’s real. I like it. The app keeps you on your toes I was surprised at my score considering I did well in class. I just wish they wouldn’t ask for a rating after the first try because you don’t really know but so far I like it.

Best app!. This app help me so much! I’m in Georgia and I just passed my written state bored. It’s so easy to study when it is right here on my phone! So thankful I found it and have told my class mates and classes under me about it!

Grammatical errors and Questions that make no sense.. I have spent 30 dollars total on this app, only to come across several grammatical errors. There are sentences that do not make sense, as well as questions that give a question and don’t provide the right answer as an option. Be careful where you spend your money!

It’s what I’ve been asking for since I started school. Wish I would have discovered this sooner. Love

GREAT TESTING APP. I graduated cosmo school 2 months ago and just now taking my State Board exam. I can’t tell you how much it helps to have an app like this that I can use anytime and anywhere. I for once feel prepared.

Passed my written with a 96!!. Love this app it helped me so much when i took my written. Most of the questions were literally word for word love it!

I passed!!. I took the California Cosmetology state board yesterday and used only this app to study, i got about 85% average on all 1-7 practice tests & passed with a 82!! definitely helpful!

Best study tool for boards!. This app helped me out 100% to pass my cosmetology boards! I purchased all 7 of the board exam practices for $4.99 each and it helped me pas my boards with flying colors! Ended up passing my boards with a 94%!!

Passed my exam!. I took my exam in California. I bought the app and was using the exam questions of 105 questions to practice. I also practice out of the Milladys exam book doing 32 chapter once. But this app helped me more on then the book. Get it!

Great App. Easy to use, explains the answer when you are wrong and has many questions to practice.

I love this app!. As someone with ADHD, it is really hard for me to study. I paid the $10 to unlock all of the tests, and today I passed the Florida state board on the first try!!!!! I cannot recommend this app enough!!!!!!!! 🤍
