Awesome videos!. I really like this app. It has videos on a range of topics that keep me up to date on things going on in entertainment. Super easy to use. Nice work!

Closing. I open the app and as soon as I touch the screen to scroll, the app closes. Every single tome! I will be deleting.

No written stories :(. I'm sure this app has great videos and is ideal for people who like to get news in video form. Personally, I very much miss the written material. I used to check the People app a couple times a day to quick read an interesting to story. Now, I use this app almost never because I'm never in a situation where I can watch a video without bothering the people around me. Please bring back the written content in some form!

Bring back written content. No one has time to watch these videos. We subscribe to your magazine because we actually like to read. I don't know what happened within the company for you to retire CelebWatch and start up PEN but it's a bad idea. Bring back the written content app.

fun content. PeopleTV is great. I usually stream it in the background while I’m doing work or making dinner.

Nothing to read!. I just downloaded this new app, and as far as I can see it is nothing but videos. I don't want to watch videos, I want to READ entertainment stories. There were way too many videos for me on CelebWatch, but at least I could skip over them and read the stories. This new app has nothing for me.

Zero Stars if Possible. I have downloaded this app numerous times and every single time the video plays with no audio. I have tried it on my cousin's phone and it does the same thing. Why have an app for video interviews if none of them play with audio. That does not make sense to me.

No Sound. Can’t hear a thing on iPad. The video plays....but there’s no sound.

Chromecast. This is supposed to be compatible with Chromecast, but there is no way to get it to connect! Am I missing something?

Please bring back written content. I always avoided the videos in the original People app - the commercials and discussion of content unrelated to the article I was reading really bothered me. Now, I can no longer enjoy the few minutes here and there at work where I could jump into the celebrity world through bite-sized articles - which I enjoyed in spite of the constant editing misses (inaccuracies, spelling and grammar issues, etc.). Hardly anyone has the time to watch 20 minute videos or can watch with sound while out and about. I will no longer be using a People associated app - E! Network app, it is. Your loss.

The E! News app is way better. Retiring the celeb news app was a terrible decision. The new app should have both videos and articles for people to use. Side note: The E! News app is awesome, better even! It doesn't shut the app off randomly, from what I noticed so far, their journalists actually have had someone edit their articles before posting them, and you can actually see every photo they have in an album.

Perfect for on the go!. Love this new app. So easy to catch up on some fun stories while I'm on my 1hr 1/2 commute.

Very Sleek. Super Impressed. The PEN app provides a polished viewing experience with a diversity of content. Thought the Emmy 2016 live stream was fun and innovative, and Bingeworthy is AWESOME! Probably my favorite TV app on Roku

Bring back people celebwatch. If there was a way I could give zero stars for this app I would. This app contains nothing but videos. I didn't even watch the videos on celebwatch very often, much prefer to read the articles. This app has been deleted from my phone.

What about those who like to read and not just watch videos?. I check(ed) People CelebWatch daily and its predecessor before CelebWatch. Now I'm forced to wait until the weekly magazine comes out. I like to "read" news and the daily feed made this easy to do with topical news stories abort celebrities as well as other top news items. I DON'T want to listen to videos as that limits to a location where that is possible. This is definitely a disappointing move by People Magazine. Audiences should be offered different modalities allowing individual preferences. CelebWatch did that, PEN definitely does not.

Please bring back the old app... Hate it! Miss reading the news and staying in touch with the magazine. I get the magazine every week, but loved the brief articles and headlines on the app. Cannot watch videos while waiting somewhere or in bed late at night, because the volume is so loud. Please, please bring back the written app. Hate all those long videos!! Please....

Fun shows. This app has great original content that I can watch on the go, good quality

Big thumbs down!. I absolutely hate that this took the place of my old People Celeb Watch. I loved that I could look through all the articles, getting not just celebrity but news from around the country. Having to watch my news isn't very discreet and I'd rather read my news at my own pace versus a video. What a disappointment. If it ain't broke, don't "fix" it. BRING BACK THE BETTER PEOPLE CELEBSTYLE APP!!!

No sound, no point. Unlike most of the low reviews, I don’t mind the videos. I listen to podcasts, and sometimes I prefer to listen in the car or at work in the background when I can’t read, but without the sound playing this is pretty useless. If I have to go to your website to hear video sound then this app has no point for me.

Crashes. This app needs some serious updating. It crashes almost immediately upon opening, and uninstalling and reinstalling didn’t help. I’m using the most recent iPad Pro, and the operating system is the most recent.

Unique content. For all cord cutters out there this is a great place to stream free pop culture entertainment. Ads are short and far between. Well worth the download.

Missing Celeb watch big time!. Awful! I don't understand why it got shut down? The videos on CelebWatch m, I usually skipped. Not only am I limited to only watching videos-a quick write up is much more convenient. I used to check it daily- now,nothing😡😡😡 Bring back CelebWatch!!!

No sound. There’s no sound coming from any of the videos, but I can play videos with sound from other sources.

Entertainment News at your Fingertips!. Easy to navigate. I was able to quickly scan the topics and select the ones I want to watch right away as well as the ones I'll check out later. Kudos!

So disappointed-no articles to read. It's unfortunate that there is not a section of daily stories to read like the old CelebWatch app - it was easy and enjoyable. Not sure where or when I will have the time to watch videos...the convenience of having articles to read was that they were short, sweet, and QUIET. Feel like I have to give up "People" altogether. Convenience is key. Glad "Entertainment Weekly" has their app still, but it's not to the level CelebWatch was.

No sound??. Why even bother?

HATE IT!. Retiring the People Mag app has me sad. I could jump on during the day and catch up on celebrity news. Despite horrible spelling and grammar and those horrific advertisements WITH SOUND that can get folks in trouble at work, it still had good content. This new app is all videos and I will not be using it. What a loss.

Missing the Text Stories. I can't always watch videos, so I miss the text story app. It let me read stories while rocking my kids to sleep, or in bed without waking my husband. The video app is cool too, but I'm going to miss the quiet, text version. I'll probably have to use a different source for my entertainment news now.

All Videos?? BRING BACK WRITTEN ARTICLES!!. It's all videos. That's it. So incredibly disappointed in this app. I miss having the written articles because I'm rarely able to watch videos, and never really liked watching them on the old app. I'd check the old app MULTIPLE times a day for the most current news. With this, I have to either wear headphones, or be in a private space to not bother others around me. What an inconvenience. The old app was great: up-to-date entertainment and world news that I could trust. Now? Who knows where I'll find trustworthy articles about events... People/EW, add text articles and you will win me back. Otherwise, adios!

Written Articles. Where have the written articles gone? The Celeb Watch app was one of my favorite apps to use. I enjoyed being able to sit at my desk or in a doctor's office and reading articles on my favorite celebrities and not worrying about bothering other people. I very rarely watched videos on that website, so this new app is completely useless to me. Sorry People you've lost my online/app support!

Cool videos / variety of genres. The longer videos like the Jess cagle interviews are really good but they also have short ones to watch like quick entertainment news snippets that I like to watch while I get ready. Better on my apple tv but nice to have the option to watch on my phone too!!

Terrible. This has to be the worst app I've ever downloaded. I can't find anything when I use the search function, there's no way to get back to the homepage, no way to register to make a comment without getting a blank page. It's a wonder you still have a magazine if you run it the same way you run this crappy app.

Don't want videos!!. Apparently, this is the new replacement for People CelebWatch and I'm not at all happy with the replacement. I don't want to watch videos! I'm most often in locations where watching a video would not be appropriate. Reading is a lot more convenient. Very disappointed!

Same as everyone else. Can't watch content, stops and starts. Then when you can't take it anymore and leave, when you come back, it doesn't remember where you were like other apps and requires you to start over again. Deleting it from my iPad. 😭

Fix your issues!!!!. Why in 2020 do I have to CLOSE OUT THE APP and REOPEN to get back to the main menu????? Also why have settings if there is no content in those menus to “set”?? Terrible.

So much to watch. Interesting stories! Love the reunions, they’re super nostalgic. There’s a lot to watch and I don’t get bored.

HATE THIS!. I much prefer the CelebWatch app. I hate the videos on it and avoid them. This new PEN app is all videos and nothing the same as CelebWatch. I realize change is good but this one is not! I love reading all the articles CelebWatch has and look forward to reading them daily. I intend to delete the PEN app as soon as I post this review. Very disappointed!

Love this app!!!. I'm a big fan of People magazine and this app is the perfect companion. I particularly like the People Cover Story and Features and the Cast Reunions are always really fun to watch !!!

Seriously??. Can someone at People actually test this app from a user perspective on multiple devices. I understand the sound complaints and on IPAD the only way to return to the main menu from watching a video is to close and reopen the program. Really? Someone PLEASE pay attention to the app issues/ customer feedback here! The App has your brand on it and that represents People just like the magazine. Poor quality is disappointing and unacceptable. I await the changes... or will engage media elsewhere as will others. Thank you!

Very smooth. The app design is cool and responsive. It's really easy to browse through the content, and it's got a lot of great stuff to watch.

No sound!. I downloaded app for the people tv survivor fan forum. Videos pause for no reason .must restart from beginning. And no sound 50%of the time.

Hate it!. This new app is unorganized and filled with videos. Sometimes you can't watch a video and you would rather read an article ( like if you're in a doctor's office waiting!) I hate how you can't see top celeb news stories of the day. Bring back the old people app !

Connection Error. I keep trying to launch the App and I keep getting 'Connection Error' even after deleting it and re-installing.

Just awful. Where is the written content? People are busy and don't have time to just sit and watch videos. I need an app that i can read anytime, anywhere. I am forced to find another app now. Was there any real thought put into this app?

Disappointing. It's all videos. I like to read articles, not watch videos. There are no written articles in this new app. Frankly there's no news. It's all interviews and "stories". Very upset I loved my Celeb Watch app. Deleting this app after only 2 days.

Horrible app. This app is horrible. People CelebWatch has written content, this is just video clip. Also, it's just so poor managed be lacks clarity. The page doesn't show a purpose/meaning other than just random clips.

Videos don't load. Since I downloaded the app I haven't been able to watch a single video. They never load! Fix this!
