Skyfish. Playing the game should be fun not frustrating. Moving the character around is difficult and sometimes impossible. Please fix this as it looks like a fun game.

Great game. Don't be fooled by everybody else's reviews, of course everybody is entitled to their opinion however I haven't found anything wrong with the game. Sometimes people expect too much in life. So far this game has been pretty enjoyable. definitely nothing like Zelda but it's pretty similar. If you like puzzle adventures I would get the game.

Nostalgic Zelda a Link to the Past. Nice graphics and very nostalgic. Remembers Zelda a Link to the Past.

Waste of money. Thought the game would be more in depth, especially with a opening cinematic that helps lay out the plot so nicely. Found myself bored with the game by about the fifth level. Not worth the 2.99.

Fun game. Seems to be a fun game so far with puzzle solving and enemies to battle. Touch control is a nightmare, totally unresponsive. Joystick is the way to go. No problems with that. Enemies are probably too simple for young gaming diehards, but since I am neither, they are challenging enough for me. Love the Zelda feel to the game as well.

Great Zeldish Game. I beat the whole game (with achievements) in just under 5 hours. Its not because its short, but because it was that addictive.

Left thumb as joystick is the worst.. There is a lag in the thumb joystick, and you die so easily. Waste of money.

Meh 〰. Good concept but over-hyped and overpriced at $3.99. Suitable for kids, zero challenge, very short, levels don't progress much in difficulty so it's really boring by chapter 2. I guess it should never have been compared to Zelda, this is where the disappointment seems to be. Too bad.

Breathtaking and unique. I have been waiting for a zelda-esque adventure on the iPhone for a long time. This game is both beautiful and fun. Don't be fooled by the ease of the introductory puzzles. They quickly ramp up in difficulty and will challenge the best of us. The best part is it is pay once and play. I only hope they plan on releasing more levels soon!

Stuck. I got to level 2 and the fishing pull control disappeared. I have tried restarting, quitting, and redownloading the app. Still doesn't work. Save your money

Great game. Ignore the bad reviews the game is fun and quirky definitely worth the $ 😊

Not Zelda Like. Bought it based on the reviews claiming it to be like Zelda. I was bored after the first few levels and it was nothing like Zelda. But I kept playing in hopes of it becoming more interesting. I beat the first boss on the first try and moved on to the second world. Still, I find it hard for myself to keep investing time in this game. It's nothing like Zelda and the core gameplay gets really repetitive soon. I think the unnecessary Zelda hype is actually hurting the review and people's impression of the game.

Enjoying it but have a few problems. Controls just feel awkward but I think that's just the curse of touch screen for me. There's a part in the end of 2-13 right before getting to the totem, where you have a timed challenge but the attack button covers up a rock that's in your way. It's not so bad in normal play but with a timed challenge it's a little awful. Game is not bad though

Good. A good little mobile game. Fairly simple. Story is forgettable and mechanics never really evolve but I enjoyed it. Recommended

Excellent action puzzler. I happen to enjoy level based action puzzle games like these. Open world games where you simply explore, walk around, get dizzy, interact with other characters are not my thing. I find this to be extremely refreshing, immersive and exciting to play. It's different than other games and I highly recommend it. No iaps as well. Again, completely worth the purchase from a gamer who grew up in the 1980s.

Not worth the $$. Disappointed. I read somewhere that the game reminded them of Zelda..uh NO! Not even close. It isn't worth guys. Maybe if it was free.

Disappointed. After reading reviews I bought this game for a "Zelda like experience" and was disappointed to find the only similarity to Zelda is the look and controls of the game. Very simple game and easy. Beautiful look, though...

Boring. This is NOT a Zelda type game at all. It's a mindless and very easy puzzler where all you do is jump from one island to the next stepping on switches to open gates to the next level. There is NO challenge. The first world boss took two tries to kill. Too easy. World two offered the same exact game play as world one. I was completely bored after the first five levels in world one. One level into world two, I deleted the game from my iPad that I paid $3.99 for because of the bogus reviews that said this game was very Zelda-like. It's nothing like Zelda. Don't waste your money, you will be bored within minutes. If you really want a total Zelda-like game, look for Swordigo. It's perfect with beautiful 3D graphics. And it's free. Swordigo is as close to Zelda as you'll ever get in the App Store. Trust me on this one.

Great game. Why do people not like this. So Zelda like.

Good game. Too easy beat it in a couple of hours

I made a mistake. This isn’t bad game. It’s as good as the second. Almost. I made the mistake of playing the second first, and then buying the first without playing the free version. The lack of a dodge button really made it painful to play—only because I kept reaching for that empty spot where it usually is. But again, that was my bad.

Disappointed. Okay visually this game is great... Story was a little interesting and cutesy... However if you're looking for a challenge a kin to Legend of Zelda or even world depth similar to the franchise, you won't find it here... It had some good puzzles but nothing that didn't take too long to solve... Items are literally given to you... Also it felt too short (I beat this game in about 3 hrs I think spaced out between two days)

Fun by level 12. At first the game moves pretty slow and is fairly easy, but the fun and the difficulty start picking up by level 12. Great mechanics and concept. Of course it's not Zelda but then, what is?

nice variety of levels, a fun diversion. This is a fun game whose levels and gadgets may remind some players of Zelda. It's got relatively few gadgets to use, but it manages to maintain a nice variety in its 45 levels. No levels get all that difficult.

Bust. Limited strategy gameplay. Controls can be tough. Once you cast your rod you have to wait for it to come back before you can do anything. Sword doesn't always swing in the direction you think you're facing. Not Zelda like. Deleted after completing level one.

Very good. I happen to like this game a lot. It's a fun puzzle adventure game and I like the graphics too. My only gripe is with the fishing hook. It doesn't seem to move smoothly when you are trying to aim it at your target. Instead, it moves around haphazardly which can be a little annoying. Besides that, I'm enjoying the game,

Want More. One of the things I always think after playing a game I've enjoyed is "it's over? I want more!" Which is exactly what I thought after whooping skyfish and sending him back underwater with his tail between his...uh, tail?

Short, But Satisfying (And So Pretty)!. The only sad moment I had playing this game was earning a "found half the hidden treasures" achievement and realizing that it was going to be a short game. Three worlds with 15 levels a piece may not seem short, unless you're an old hat to Legend of Zelda-type games. In fact, you might call this game, "I Wish I Was Playing Zelda." It doesn't really have a lot of original material or surprises, but it's super-gorgeous and a great action-puzzler fix, for sure. Obviously high production values make it worth the five stars. Still wish there was way more, though!

Not like Zelda - more for little kids.. I got swindled by the other reviews and stills into thinking this would be like Zelda - it absolutely is NOT. It's well pitched for maybe 6-9 year olds, but even then it's SO linear and repetitive I'm not sure who to recommend it to. Levels are short, easy, and your upgrades are barely noticeable; only four per item, and no extra items discoverable. Gameplay is slow, repetitive and pretty dull. Levels are all entirely linear, with no secrets or discoveries. Save your money! Pass on this game.

Fun but short. Yeah it's a pretty game with an interesting weapon, but it only has 3 stages. It's very short, making the $3.99 price pointless. Gotten more content from free games.

Disappointed. I have the arcade subscription and I played the second version to this game which I love! I actually paid for this one thinking it would be just as fun. The graphics are no where near as nice and the fact that there is no dodge button makes it annoying to play. Don’t waste your money on this game!!! I deleted it after 30min of playing

Good. Good game but the controls to fish doesn't work right

Nice art, repetitive gameplay. Maybe mistakenly, I though this would be something of a Zelda game. There is no exploration here. The puzzles are straightforward. The combat is slow slashing over and over. The game looks nice and is bug free so far, but I am not interested in finishing it.

Cute, but.... Hello, I'm playing this on my IPhone. I finished quite a few levels, I got the first couple levels, a new rod. I understand the similarities between the Zelda 'hook' puzzles, but besides that, it got very repetitive. The graphics are pretty, but I felt nothing special. It kind of felt like a child's game with slightly more complicated mechanics (aiming the rod.) Maybe I quit on it too soon, so I'm giving it a high rating. I enjoyed it but it felt like ?Zelda Jr.

Excellent Zelda inspired title with gorgeous art design!. I highly recommend this game and hope to see more like it. You use your fishingrod much like the mechanical arm in bionic commando. It helps you travel from island to island, solve puzzles by moving crates or even to stun enemies. Those annoying unreachable creatures that lurk in the waters firing fireballs at you from a safe distance... Not in this game! Grapple their butts over to you like scorpion from Mortal Kombat. LOL Beautiful art design adds to the substantial charm of this game. Well worth the purchase!

Terribly boring. NOT like Zelda. Definitely not like Zelda. Repetitive gameplay made me bored on the 3rd stage.

Simply Sublime. As I stroll through golden grasses and admire the cerulean waters around me, I am serene. This might be the most beautiful game I've ever played on my iPad - what an immersive and atmospheric title. It reminds me a lot of Zelda, and that's a good thing. Bravo, developers!

Not worth the money. This app was quite underwhelming. The levels were too easy and the game itself became boring very fast.

Don't fall for it.... It looks like it Zelda type of game. It is not at all. The game looks like it is open world. It is not, it is just puzzle levels in which you have to beat. If you want to pay for this thinking it is Zelda type of game DON'T. Only good thing that looks like Zelda is the art, it is pretty nice to be honest.

Beautiful visual and gameplay mechanics. Definitely reminiscent of LOZ games in Legend of the Skyfish's design and similar dungeon-like puzzles challenging the stage progress. Treasure chests as well! 5 stages in and I love it. Watch out for those pesky sea horses.

Great looking, but repetitive. I read a preview saying this was the best Zelda clone to come to iOS. Personally I wouldn't even compare the two. They are both top down action style RPG games, and it does try to invoke classic Zelda nostalgia, but after a few minutes you will find it is a quite a different game. Gameplay centers around the ability to swipe at enemies and use a grappling hook like fishing rod. Each level is set up as a short puzzle that must by completing by swiping down baddies and swinging yourself from island to island. There are upgrades and things to avoid, but that is pretty much the gameplay. New items and puzzle changes are regularly introduced, but they are small and don't do a lot to break thr repetition. This makes it hard to stay invested. Bosses are few and far between and most enemies are only fun to fight the first few times. All in all I would say it is a visually appealing game with little depth to the game play and story. Add a few change ups to the gameplay, mini bosses, and items and it would be a much more rewarding game. P.S. If you want the best Zelda clone for iOS Oceanhorn still takes the cake.

Gorgeous and fun. Beautiful game with great controls. In the style of Zelda or oceanhorn. Only wish is that it had iCloud saves. But would buy again anyway.

Not amazing, but good.. Levels were a little too easy and repetitive for me. Breezed through this but would be good for a younger audience.

Sky fish. Would have given' the this a good review, but stuck on level 2. She won't move at all and I can't get thru to support

Looks great but boring. This game. I wanted to like it. It's charming. It's got high production values. It's just not fun. Movement is slow and awkward, fighting is slow and awkward, puzzles are either way, way too easy or not that hard but convoluted. Great concept, great art, solid mechanics but a drag to play. Oh well.

Well worth the price!. Love this game and it's not too often I write a review either. I'm using a Steelseries XL controller and it works flawless. Buy it trust me.

Problems keep it from being great. The game has some problems which keep it from being that much fun. The controls are too touchy and seem to lose calibration ( especially for movement) . Also the boss at the end of the first level is exponentially more difficult that a first level boss should be. After about 10 tried, I just quit. And I usually love games like these. It is too bad, the graphics are nice... I think the two issues I mentioned have kept this from selling. I would suggest that the developers fix the controls, make the bosses not killer tough in comparison to the level just played through (not easy, but easier more in proportion), and to get people to try it, drop the cost down. As it is, with its problems, I cannot recommend this game.

Slightly Stylish, Slightly Boring. Having played the first twenty levels of this game, I'm officially giving myself permission to stop. And ultimately, the reason for this is that the game just isn't very fun. It's cute and it plays well enough but there are very few differences from level to level. It's worth noting, as others have, that this is nothing like Zelda. This game is level based and has no exploration elements. There are upgrades for each item which affect the game minimally. Also, because they guide you directly to those upgrades within the level, there is no feeling of discovery. The last thing I wanted to say is that the game is VERY easy. Obviously, this is very subjective. However, in my experience, I found that all of the difficulty came from the touch controls and my apathy. During the first boss fight, I was only hit twice. Once by his surprise mechanic and once because I didn't care to dodge anymore. I don't think you should necessarily avoid this game but there are better options for the money.

Amazing but short but AMAZING. The game is gorgeous it has 3 worlds with 15 levels each (45 levels) so it is kinda short but it's like if Zelda wind waker was in the format of the original worth the money by far.

iPhone X screen problem. Make it fit the iPhone X screen please!

Sarcastic but honest review.. Wait a game with an original plot and story? What’s next, enjoyable gameplay? Oh wait... Ok aside from the amazing story and characters, the gameplay is somewhat a tad bit cheesy at times with the whole victory dance at the end of a level. But I just adore the stylish cutscene and fascinating storytelling that the game opens with when you first open the app. It give this game a 4/5 stars.

Bugs. After u loose a life the fishing rod targeting button disappears so u cannot go anywhere. Till fixed, unplayable.

Skyfish User Review. Skyfish is by far now one of my favourite apps, it has a unique experience and I found it very peaceful, calming and relaxing. I highly recommend it, with a 5/5 star-rating by me. More levels, items and achievements would really make the game even more amazing! Great game! -EctoTM

Not bad but.... ... not great either. I'm not that far in the game, but it already seems repetitive. The voice of the character really gets on my nerve. I saw somewhere that this game was compared to Zelda , but at the moment, it doesn't seem to be in the same league as Oceanhorn.

Just keep dancing.. While the design is charming, the controls are questionably responsive. Meanwhile, gameplay will soon have you asking: is that all there is to hunting a legendary sea monster? Yes, that's all there is.

But. Le jeu me plait mais au niveau 6 Près le check-point le jeu bloque. J’ai acheté le jeu, ‘J’aimerais savoir comment débloquer. Merci

Not bad. Zelda style game. Needs more weapon upgrades (maybe there are, I'm still playing). More variety of what to do is needed.

zelda wannabe. but just doesnt live up to the name

Meh. Puzzles? Not really.

Not like Zelda. Very boring and repetitive. Stole my $3.99 with some fake good reviews.

Boring is right. This game is very mindless. Not very tough. Not engaging. Not at all fun. Graphics are nice but I feel jipped out of 3.99.
