Nothing wrong with the app, but APPLE!!!. IOS 13 isn’t compatible and it won’t detect my micro key air now!!

Korg MicroKEY Air no longer works on iOS 13?!. Will korg buy back my keyboard?

Beware IOS 13. Everything worked great in IOS 12 and previous. Microkey Air won’t pair now in IOS 13 and there is nothing Korg can do about this .. it’s up to apple. The 2018 iPad Pro’s along with IOS 13 make a less than stellar combo for IOS musicians and producers. Sure wish Apple would give IOS 13 users the choice to go back to IOS 12.

This doesn’t work. I bought a microkey board and I downloaded this app and the Bluetooth connection doesn’t work with this app not sure if it’s outdated. Update: Still not working. I regret so much buying this keyboard

korg nanokey studio can not pairing with ipados 13. korg nanokey studio can not pairing with ipados 13

DOES THIS WORK WITH iOS 13? READ ON. KORG makes great hardware and software but has horrible customer support and communication. This is an example of how to ruin a brand with offensive customer user experience and insult professional musicians who spend thousands of dollars on KORG hardware and software. It’s not rocket science to understand that software updates can cause temporarily bugs when iOS has a major update. But when a large company like KORG with millions of dollars at stake when compaabihlity issues arise during updates it concerns me to continue to support their products. When they fail to respond to these issues, or worse in their case flat out ignore their own support section at their official website by not even acknowledging from the many customers confirming that after iOS 13 update all of KORG bluetooth devices failed to connect. It becomes a even more of a concern that nearing 2020 a company like KORG doesn’t understand of why customer and user experience is more important then ever, more so with musicians whom rely on the investment they made by choosing KORG over other products in this highly competitive industry. We make our living with the dependence of having hardware to work and when it breaks at we expect to at least understand that the company acknowledges the bugs and keeps customers in the loop of patches etc. Holiday season is busy with purchases and live performances. You know there is a huge problem when you go and read KORG support forum threads and see other musicians helping out other KORG customers whom just purchased new hardware in the past 30 days, only to realize that the hardware was not compatible like it states all over KORG slick marketing. Now after spending hours of time trying to search for a solution and talk with other KORG users we only find that this app has been updated to fix the issue by reading a reply from the developer by a user review? Huh. KORG who spend massive amounts on app software development doesn't understand how to post updates to APPLE app store here? My suggestion is that KORG should put the update release notes at the top of this app description like APPLE requires all other app developers to do. So if any developers are reading this please go take care of your customers and stick a update on top of your support page to the link of this update here, acknowledging that this app here has been updated and fixes the bluetooth iOS13 connection issues. Then post this release info on your app page listing what has been changed in this update release including the fix to the Bluetooth issues. Customers shouldn't have to go through all this wasted time and energy with this anxiety trying to find information when simple communication and proper release notes to app updates is takes one minute as we all understand with updates bugs happen . But failure to acknowledge leaves us in the dark. I rarely ever write reviews but having to watch another musician experience a panic attack on stage because of hardware failure like I witnessed last Sunday at my church motivated me to to reach out to the developer. In his case his ipad pro updated the eve before apparently and then failed a connection to his KORG AIR device. Without having any iOS update notifications that this app here has an update to fix the bug, I watched him scramble plugging his firewire/camera dongle cable. Instead of him spending hours trying to fix this, after the service I immediately found him and told him that he just needs to come here and redownload this app to fix the issue, even though there is no mention of it. We both chuckled when I told him that I immediately understood the look on his face as he scrambled to find his dongles when I noticed the KORG labels on his hardware. Not a good look for KORG brand in the outrage era of social media during the holidays.

Great tool!. Not only does it allow my to connect my microKEY Air to apps that don’t support Bluetooth, which is fantastic, but allows me to connect to those that do without having to dig through menus to connect.

Where the update. Where’s the update. It’s been over a month.

Does not work!. I just downloaded this App. It does not connect my iPhone 11 Pro Max with microKEY AIr. Waste of time!

Please update iOS soon. I believe the issue is that Korg MicroKey Air Keyboards are not discoverable by Bluetooth in the latest iOS 13.1.2. They do appear in the app but they cannot connect becauase iOS 13.1.2 does not see the device. As further evidence, my iPads and iPhone running iOS 13.1.2 have MicroKey Air devices which were paired with them while still running iOS 12. These devices still connect via the Bluetooth MIDI Connect app in iOS 13 as they had always done. But devices that were not previously paired under iOS 12 cannot be discovered by the iOS. Even though they appear in the app, they fail to connect. Thiis is IMHO, an iOS problem. I think it is okay to upgrade to iOS 13 as long as you pair your device while still running iOS 12. My hope is Apple will address this in the next update.

Sync Fail. Currently does not sync with MicroKey Air 25 on iPhone XR

Korg Support is non existent. The link on their site for the 61 key variant firmware doesn’t work, phone support doesn’t exist.

Needs to updated to work with iOS 13. This version doesn’t connect to devices like MicroKey Air keyboards.

Still will not connect my nanokey studio. I am running iOS 13.3 and my brand new nanokey studio will not connect. Come to find out this has been an issue for a while. Korg pleaaaassse address this!

Was no bueno with iOS 13 - works again after firmware update. Update: Finally, after more than 1 month oof the release of IOS 13, Korg issued a firmware update which re-enables bluetooth connectivity. I’m still not impressed, as this would have been preventable had Korg chosen to release the firmware update when IOS 13 was initially launched. Aren’t IOS Beta versions supposed to enable developers to get their shot together before an IOS update will be released? Original Review: Can not connect to my KORG MicroKEY Air MIDI controller. The Korg ble app sees the device, but cannot connect to it. KORG should stop selling incompatible devices immediatedly.

Apple One works Better. This connected to nothing, would not waste your time on it if I were you.

Update. Please update. Korg microkeys air not working

Update please !!!. My microKey not working please help all musicians!!!!

Vlad. It doesn’t recognise my microKEY Air. But iOS Bluetooth module shows “connected”...

Please iOS 13. Actualizarse a iOS 13

Not working with ios 13. Please your update ble for ios13 now i buy korg module pro but connot use because not connect with ios 13

You gotta jump thru hoops. I first purchased a used microkey air 25 from guitar center. Couldn’t get it to work on Bluetooth. Sent it back and brought a brand new one. Same issue. After tons of frustration and dealing with a rude ass korg customer service guy I figured it out. First connect the keyboard to your Mac/pc and download the latest drivers for windows or Mac with your keyboard connected via usb. Then download the iOS update for 13 from the korg website . Finally get this app and bam u in the game. U get it easily explained which is what Korg miserably failed at. My pain, your pleasure.

It just worked. Thanks.. The easiest app of all the BLE MIDI apps I tried. It just worked. Thanks.

Still doesn’t connect to iPhone 8. Please fix this ongoing issue. I updated everything, still doesn’t connect. This is ridiculous... Update: They asked me to restart my phone, failing that, contact support... idiotic... what is this...?

Still only iOS 13 support after 15 has been out for a month. Would love to use the Bluetooth feature on my new microkey air, but this is needs a serious update. I’m considering returning.

Did Not connect. App lists the available midi keyboard, but it cannot connect to it. Big disappointment, as this defeats the purpose of buying a Bluetooth midi keyboard.

Works perfect on Ipad IOS 15.6.1. Needed this app with my Korg Microkey Air which I was hesitating to buy since they were many reviews, stating that it would not work with Bluetooth. After adding this app, but keyboards works great on all keyboard and synth apps my Ipad pro, resulting in true wireless experience as no cables / hubs etc are connected which is ideal for traveling. It is worth noting that is app is only used once afterwards you don’t need to open it anymore. It is not active. Hope this helps!

Simple but effective. This is exactly what I needed to get my Korg Nanokey Studio to show up in all other midi apps that otherwise don't support BlueTooth LE midi. Now my wireless controller reigns it all on both iPad and iPhone 😎

Connection worked. Helped my microkey Air 37 key keyboard connect with my iPad Pro with the 14.6 iOS update. Ridiculous that this had to be another step though. Fix this in your hardware KORG or at least give us better instructions!

Doesn’t work. Senses but does not connect with my mini key air 37

We need an update. Please release. We need a bt update for microkey air 37

Doesn’t work with latest IOS version.. Useless. New IPad Pro with usb-c, can’t connect through midi cable, can’t connect with Bluetooth.

This App Doesn’t Work. Don’t buy a KORG Micro Key on the assumption that you can connect to the iPad via Bluetooth via this app. It doesn’t work - misleading advertising by KORG to say it does.

Bluetooth not working on iOS despite the last update. Hi, The Bluetooth isn’t not working on iOS despite the last update. Could you please do something? Thanks you per advance. Eric

Not working on MicroKEY 25. Little disappointed with my microKey 25 and this app as it is not connecting via Bluetooth to my iphone 11 max pro. It shows up as available device but not connecting.
