Clever Little Game. This game was very enjoyable and I found it to be relaxing as well as satisfying which is what I believe most people are hoping for in the experience of playing a game in the first place.

A blatant and unapologetic copy of Monument Valley. It’s like buying the discount store version of Monument Valley. Same basic mechanics, but everything is a little off. It feels kind of gross to give your money to such a blatant copy, but if you’ve already played through MV and need a MV fix… well, here you go. MV is better in all the ways though.

Awesomeness. Loved the plot, loved the art, loved the game play. Sad it had to come to end. Please bring another journey for Evo n the rest of us! Many thanks!

Ripoff of MV. Levels are boring and easy. Story is uninteresting I got through all levels expecting after each level that it was last training level, but game just ended.

Not exactly MV, but still pretty good!. Obviously inspired by the monument valley games. (I was kind of hoping to see that they’d been mentioned in the credits somewhere.) The story is okay, but needs some polishing for sure. It would be nice to have something a bit more fleshed out than the relatively cliche “civilization gets rekt by computers” thing. Although I did appreciate the attempt to make the narrative less abstract, I can’t help but feel like something important is missing there. The graphics are very nice, the music is soothing, and I got a couple hours of puzzle solving from this game. I can’t quite give it five stars because, although this game is enjoyable as a stand-alone experience, it really does pale in comparison to the monument valley series.

So happy. This was one of the best games. I loved all the challenges and keeping the mind thinking. Please make another game and keep them coming. Thanks so much

Knock off. This game is the exact same as monument valley but worse story. This is just like the character is talking to you where’s the mystery or wonder. With a game like this I feel let down because of the story alone

A fun way to kill an hour or two. Fans of MV should enjoy playing this. I played the entire game in a bit over an hour..... but only because I'd played Monument Valley before. I can't begin to understand the 3-dimensional thinking involved to create something like this. Nice game!

Perfect. Beautiful, entertaining and calming all at the same time.

Enjoyable. Almost as good as Monument Valley. Challenging but not to the point of frustration. Cute story. A bit short but hopeful there will be other adventures.

Wanna be. A clear attempt to mimic Monument Valley, but with far less quality and subtlety. Make your own game, but make it original instead of stealing someone else’s idea. It may well be legal, but you’re just trying to make money by copying a hugely successful game.

Glitch on level 14. I was loving this game until I reached level 14. The first puzzle in this level level has a glitch that won’t let me get on the platform to move onto the area with the red button, so frustrating because now I can’t go past this level and finally finish. Ughh!

Too many hints. Good game, but I wish there weren't hints if I don't touch the screen for a few seconds. Wish there was a way to turn these off in the settings. Otherwise, it's great! Hope this gets fixed to make the most enjoyable experience

Pretty cool. A game that’s similar to monument valley but a bit less colorful and mystical. The storyline is cool though. I beat it in one morning and a night of playing. I wish it had some more chapters! I find that these kinds of games leave me wanting more!

Fun and uses yer brain!. If you like Monument Valley, you’ll definitely like this game. Fun and sometimes challenging puzzles in that same vein.

As good as Monument.. At first I thought this app is, perhaps, the next best alternative to “Monument 3,” but after playing for a while, I’m thinking it is absolutely as good as the Monument Series. Watch out Monument, you’ve got competition!

I'm ashamed I purchased this.. This is a blatant ripoff of Monument Valley, and even with that, these guys can't come close to MV's game play, characters, story, graphics, audio and overall creativity. Besides, when did such plagiarism become accepted practice? I'm ashamed I purchased this and am deleting.

Really nice game. I came to this after finishing Monument Valley and MV2, both of which I found enchanting and engrossing. The puzzles here were on par with those in the MV games. If you’ve enjoyed Monument Valley, you’ll enjoy this as well.

Very good game. I do like this game! It is very challenging and it’s like Monuments. I love puzzle games and this is one of my favorites. So if you are reading the reviews to see if it’s good, I do recommend this game if you like puzzles or you like Monuments!

Great Game. I loved MV and this is similar but with the vintage tech theme. The levels are fun some take some thinking, more like looking at it at a different perspective. Keeps the brain working! Great for all ages!

Shame on you. This is a direct copy of monument valley ,and as such , the least you could do is add your own unique twist (something more inventive than flipping a cassette )and your own creative story line……but you didn’t bother to do even that. I’m sure you will be successful since many gamers obviously don’t care if ideas are derivative as evidenced by your ratings. But we both know you could do better. Disappointed.

PLEASE MAKE MORE EPISODES!. I became hooked with MV and was so happy to see this game. Excellent! I just need more levels! I wish there were more games like this one out there. Please develop more!

If you love MV, this will be a treat!!. Ok..so when I first saw this, I couldn’t believe someone had ripped off Monument Valley app... it’s a simpler version. Having said that, if you loved MV, then you will enjoy getting to do these type of puzzles again! Not too difficult, and overall-its relaxing and enjoyable. I would love the developers to explain how they were able to develop a version that is SO similar to MV? I think that will satisfy many potential players.

SUPPORT UKRAINIAN DEVELOPERS! :). This game was developed by Ukrainian developers. Buying this game is one small way to show support. As so many others have said - this shares a lot with Monument Valley - especially the look. This game is well worth the low price - the small size and being ad free are bonuses. Game play is similar to MV but shorter and less challenging. It’s like a zen version of MV. I doubt I’ll play this again, whereas I can imagine another run-through of MV. I enjoyed it and would recommend it, with those caveats, to anyone who liked MV. I’ll also seek out other games by this Ukrainian developer.

Mind Warper. Good Game, Mind Warper, just when you think the game puzzles are getting repetitive, it goes and throws a stinker in their to try and figure out. Fun times.

Mixed review. If I had never played MV, I might have liked this more but I’m glad I played MV first Strengths: Some levels are interesting, especially the one with two characters—the teamwork element was different. The graphics are simple but appealing and clear. It has some of the same challenges as MV, and if that was new to someone it would be fun. Also, liked being able to pay minimal fee and not have ads. Weaknesses: 1) The “hints” were annoying and detracted, and they went beyond the first couple of levels. Sure it’s challenging w/no hints, but it is a PUZZLE. 2) While It is Escher-like, there was still logic to the deception in MV. A few of these just involved random tapping to get to solution.

Not great.. This game is for Monument Valley addicts who can’t wait for MV3. The game play is almost a direct copy of MV, but without the magic, the beauty, and the complexity. It might be good for children. Mine had a glitch at Level 12 that was impassable, so that was that.

A Monument Vally knock off. I love these type of games, no one gets killed except your brain sometimes.

Pleasant perspective puzzles. This game has the same puzzle play and artistic elements as MV albeit less story and also shorter puzzles. Overall I would recommend as an enjoyable pass time.

Not playing until hints are optional. I knew there were hints from reading other reviews, but I was misled by a review that said the hints only appear if you touch the screen for a few seconds - and I thought “ok, I just won’t do that.” But the hints are there like it or not (for the first few levels apparently). I realize the misleading review is not the developer’s fault, but the bad design is. I don't want to be shown where to put my fingers, at all. Ruins the exploratory experience completely. I need to be able to turn hints off from the start. I realize it’s just the first few levels, but those are ruined levels. Not playing it until/unless an update fixes this. Will give 5 stars if that happens. If that doesn’t ever happen, I wasted my money I guess. :(

A fun and relaxing game. We all love Monument Valley but, I found EVO Explores just as entertaining and challenging. It was relaxing and Evo is a cute character to guide. Graphics were seamless and some of the puzzles were easier than others but, overall I would say the game was successful.

Number of levels? 35 or 14???. Why does the App Store says there are 35 levels but I see credits after level 14? I really liked the first 14 levels but I was really expecting another 21 levels.

Pros and a con. I enjoy this little game, but at about Level 10 on my (up to date) iOS, I hit a roadblock where no matter how or where I tap along the path, the figure will not move. I kind of accidentally got past that freeze on one level, only to run up against it on another level. This isn’t a big complaint, because for the price I got a good amount of ad-free play.

Loved evo explores. I liked Monument Valley and this plays a lot like that. No timer, no score, but patterns that bend geometry and take time to figure out. I will play more games by this developer.

Relaxing. I love this style of game. Forces you to think in a different plane. So much better than bang bang shoot and blow it up. It’s clever. Makes you think instead of react. Thank you. More to come soon I hope.

Fun and well execution. Being inspired by another titles is ok and Evo Explorers shows that by evolving the original idea with additional puzzle mechanics. Humor sometimes feels a little off given the style and music of the game but game design and art style are very inviting to wander across intricated puzzles and physic bending levels.

So sweet!. I love this game, mostly because it reminds me of monument valley. Though in my opinion, because monument valley is now almost like a series, what with MV1, FS, ID, AND MV2, this game should have just been added on to the monument valley game. I know- I’m crazy...

Nice game!. I enjoyed the story and the puzzles in the MC Escher-like world. Even though some puzzles resembled those from the Monument Valley games, they still presented unique challenges. Definitely worth purchasing and playing through.

Total ripoff. Shameless imitation of monument valley (I assume MV came first). But it is nonetheless fun to play. And if you like MV, which I do, you'd enjoy this game. Might not have the same level of artidtry but still engaging enough to earn five stars from me.

Wow!!. This is one of my top best favourite games I've ever played, it's just the thing I've been looking for since monument valley!!!.

For those who miss monument valley. It's hard to believe that this game is not in some way related to monument valley, as there are highly similar in game mechanism. The interface is not nearly as good, and the story and emotional satisfaction is far from anything monument valley offered. That being said, given that it's highly unlikely that monument valley will release any new levels, this game is a sort of ok replacement. Overall, the cheaper price is fair, as I believe that I've paid for pretty much I've got.

Its certainly up there with the best games.. One small criticism is that it’s a bit awkward to play on the iPad Pro because its a large and heavy iPad to hold in portrait orientation. It’d be nice if the game rotated to match landscape orientation.

Almost as good as Monument Valley!. Really love this game - some of the puzzles and levels are actually better than MV. Hope the authors of this game keep giving us new levels as I have really enjoyed playing this.

Rather fun. A sweet, not too frighteningly difficult game. Echoes of Monument Valley but still interesting and with its own challenges. Perfect for quiet moments where you want something gentle to pass the time, but which manages to engage your brain a little bit.

Great replacement for Monument Valley. A great game in the style of Monument Valley. There are buttons, teleport doors, spinners and lifts. The game adds some nifty 3D eye tricks to move in ways not seen in Monument Valley. It took me 60-90 minutes to complete all levels. My 5yo and 8yo love it too. Can't wait for the next release.

This is like a warm-up for Monument Valley. If you enjoyed Monument Valley - you will enjoy this. It’s the same, but with a few added twists and turns that keep it fresh. It is easier than Monument Valley, so, if You’ve never played MV or found it a bit tough, then try this. As stated by others, the ‘story’ meant nothing to me. That’s the only thing missing. I liked Ida And Totem in MV, and as simple as the story was I enjoyed how it unfolded over time. In this, I don’t really care who the character is. 5 Stars because this is just plain fun. Easy to pick up, you can play a level in a few minutes henpeck it up later - or spend an hour and play with your brain. I’d love to see many more games in this style. Great work Dev.

Nice. A nice way to decompress after Monument Valley. The puzzles are along the same lines. The play is similar. A really well done game. Perhaps the backstory isn’t as deep, but that’s not much of an issue. Overall it’s well worth the price.

Best MV clone to date. Of all the copies of Monument Valley to have been released over the past few years, this is the only one I've liked. Has some tricky levels.

Competent reimagining of monument valley. It's good, puzzles are fun, envruoen,ends are pretty and the story is....just ok. I can imagine this type of thing is hard to program so it's nice to see more people giving it a shot. That said I don't feel like it brought anything that MV didn't already do.

A Hidden Gem!. Amazing...some creative illusion-filled puzzles here! Not to mention that it all ran so smoothly. With so few required updates since its release and no found glitches (at least on iPad Mini 4 / v10.2), talk about a job very well done by this small development team. Hopefully someday there will be more from them as they know what they're doing. In comparison to Monument Valley, the quality is quite the same - very good. It feels a little short (but so is M.V.). Though such a game is more about the puzzling experience as oppose to any storyline and so I can play this multiple times for some good brain fun. I loved the addition of the cassette puzzle piece as well as the brief level containing two Evo characters helping one another out. With so much talk being about M.V., I am glad I found the similar Evo. Though it took effort to find this needle in the AppStore haystack. Many M.V. Fans likely don't know of Evo's existence.

Very good Monument Valley style game. A bit short, but beautiful relaxing experience. The plot is dumb, but no big deal - it's really about the great visuals and puzzle challenges. Monument Valley is a better and longer game, but this is still a worthwhile download.

Loved it!. If you liked Monument Valley as much as I did, you're probably looking for something similar.. This will definitely fit the bill! The graphics are pretty, the story is cute, and the puzzles are just hard enough to be fun. Would highly recommend. Only problem I found is that it's over too fast!

Evo Explores. Nice addition to the 'Monument Valley' type game. Though this game is far less challenging, it does introduce the gamer to the mechanics of MV gameplay. I would suggest this game before 'MV', because if you are looking for a more expansive universe, you may be mildly disappointed with the lower complexity.

Great little puzzle game. I was looking for games similar to Monument Valley and of the ones I've tried, this is the best. Plenty of play time with decent amount of challenge to it. I hope they make more levels. My least favorite part was anytime the tape cassette was in play, but maybe that's just me.

Wonderful fun!. I was looking for another puzzle game like Monument Valley (fabulous game, there) and this popped up in a review search. I was delighted with the slightly different format, and the twists and turns were sometimes surprising but always doable without hints. A little easier than MV, but still beautiful graphics and the story line was really quite charming. A lightweight challenge in general, but still fun, and I think my grandchild (10) will enjoy this one as much as MV. That is the only reason for four stars....just a bit too easy for serious puzzle lovers. Very well presented! Hoping to see more from his group!

Entertaining. I was looking for a game like Monument Valley. I gave this 3 stars initially because I didn't like the hints. But it improved with time and I am enjoying the games. The graphics aren't as good and there is no discernible story but it's pretty good anyway.

Second Expansion of Monument Valley That Never Was. This is Monument Valley if there was a second expansion. The puzzles were interesting and there are some new mechanics, but Monument Valley was better. Maybe that’s why they never made another expansion. I enjoyed the game, but I didn’t love it even more that Monument Valley like the developers said they did. Play Monument Valley if you haven’t, them come get this game when you are done with that one for another expansion.

Love it but needs higher grade renders.. Game graphics are great but not what your gonna expect from a finished product.

Fun but loses progress. This game is cool, even though it's a pretty blatant ripoff of Monument Valley. 😊 Be warned though that this new update loses all of your progress and you'll have to start from the beginning again.

Easy and Fun. It is obviously based on Monument Valley but simpler. I enjoyed solving the puzzles without having to resort to a cheat-sheet. It’s fair to say it feels like "Monument Valley Lite” but with enough different to make it worthwhile. I hope they will add more levels and deepen the story-line.

Fully Enjoyed. Only wish there were more levels. I'd love a puzzle game like this and MV that consistently adds new levels like Candy Crush. I just don't want it to end.

Delightful!. While not as challenging as Monument Valley Evo Explores stands solidly as an engaging puzzler. Charming story with an equally charming protagonist. Lots of fun and the puzzles are engaging and do give one pause. Thank you developers and hopes are high for a sequel!

Fun but short. Like monument valley in gameplay, well worth playing. I don't usually go on a marathon, so I didn't complete in one sitting. The perspective is sometimes hard to see. Still, very fun... BUY IT NOW

Not as good as monument valley, but close. The cassette, which is an integral piece if many puzzles, was extremely difficult to move.
