Works Perfectly. I'm not sure why the other users have rated this app poorly. The app works great for me. No issues at all. Finally, I am able to set whatever video I want as an animated wallpaper.

Awesome. Great app does exactly what I wanted! You have to export it to your e-mail in order for you to get the gif affect. Then you save the gif from your e-mail to your phone and it works perfectly :)

Good and can be better. Personally, I don't like the animated screen during launch, it is slow. Can user disable that? Another one is, from Live Photo to Video, can we mute the sound? Thanks

Greedy, Competition is Better. While "Live Studio" has a nice, simple design, the app tries to get you to sign up for a subscription right upon startup, even if one has in-app purchases disabled. I like the import options the app offers and that the user chooses the cover for their created Live Photo, but in the end, the quality of the Live Photos produced by "Live Studio" isn't great, and its competitor, "intoLive", has more features. I don't recommend the current version of "Live Studio" and suggest "intoLive" instead.

Love love love it!. I’ve had the app the for quite a bit now, I’d say around 2 years maybe 3, and I 100% would recommend that you get this app. I loved all its features from the jump, and the most recent update with the new layout is absolutely immaculate.

Video to Live Photo. Worked perfectly. Took a video of candles flickering and thought it would make for a nice wallpaper. Googled a converter and this popped up. Minutes later I had a flickering wallpaper. Thanks!

Having difficulties. When I convert a video into a Live Photo it doesn’t have any sound but everything else is ok

No audio from video conversion 😐 - (*Fixed*). I tried this app in all the different ways and it really works well, all except the fact that when I convert video to live (6 second) it does not bring the sound. Live to video includes sounds and I can see no reason why the reverse would not be true. I think it’s a very cool app and what is there worked well, but I literally bought it for a feature that in my opinion is not complete. Include sound in video to live conversion and I change to 5 stars happily 👍🏻 Update: sound is now included, I will honor my word and give it five stars. I really did put the app through its paces and all now work as stated👏🏻.

No sound!!!!! However, ye it works great.. :/ this app does its job and I was extremely happy with the result of it being able to do 30 seconds on my Live as a wallpaper as other apps only do 5, but the only reason I was so happy was because the video was perfect because OF THE MUSIC I PLACED ON IT. And withought that it just takes the whole point of everything down the toilet. I just installed it is there anything I can do to fix this? Please, thank you.

Works but could be improved. Everything works perfectly fine but I can't export the gifs to twitter and I just look dumb for putting a weird picture up that's doesn't do anything

Works Great! Fast and Easy!. I wanted to make some Gifs that are on my Mac into Live Photo screensavers for my iPhone 8, and this app did the trick. Through experimenting, this is how it worked for me: I Airdropped the Gifs to my phone, which saved them in Camera Roll; then with this app, I chose each photo (I did this one at a time), converted them to Live Photos, then clicked to export them, and then chose save to phone. Then they automatically go into the Live Photos folder on your phone to choose as wallpapers in the future. Great app, great price. Thank you, developer!

Finally. I've been waiting for an app like this since live photos came out and I was very surprised it works exactly as advertised. You can make live photos into gifs, and you can make gifs into live photos. I definitely recommend this app, worth the dollar.

:/. I doesn't work cause I have an iPhone, and I get that, but in the next update I would like scream for joy if u could make it work for iPhone 5s. :)

Does exactly what it says!. The only criticism I could give this, is the time the options on the main screen take to animate into the menu.

Congratulations on not doing a subscription model. Besides that, this app can do what no other app really offers other than GIPHY, converting videos and GIF’s to Live Photo’s, which is very useful. However I’m not sure if this is a glitch due to the app or on Apple’s side, but once I export GIF’s as Live Photo’s I cannot edit them at all without crashing the photos app.

Love it!. I absolutely love his app! Last year I went to a One Direction concert and it let me transform videos into a live wallpaper and I love it!! The only thing is I wish it was hd like the video is but other than that I love it!!

App has been working great - but is starting to crash. The app has been working perfectly for me since I purchased it, but recently whenever I am trying to make a Live Photo from a video, it just crashes. Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

Keeps crashing. Whenever I try to create a video into a Live Photo it crashes. I choose the frame I want as the photo then it says it creating the love photo and then it just closes the app (crashes)

Disappointed. I’ve had this app for many years and used it all the time! But I went to use it to make a video from snaps I had saved from Snapchat. But you can no longer make videos only live photos and GIFs. Why would you take that option away?!?!

Gets the job done.. Tried this out because there really isn't any set way of making your own Live Photos. If I can just format the videos to the size of my iPhone THEN convert it, I should be able to make it happen! All in all this app does what it's advertised and is worth the price and more!

Hope This Goes Viral!!!. The app is amazing! I use to make custom wallpapers out of my slow-mo videos. They come out great with no noticeable quality reduction. I also make gifs and they turn out amazing! Little quality reduction when importing the gifs, but what can I say, it does the job!

Impressed. I like this app. It does what it advertises very nicely and with ease. Stable, clean design, excellent functionality. Easy to use to convert Live Photos to movies and vice versa

Poor frame-rate, poor resolution. Exporting a 4 second clip of fluid animation produces a low resolution, choppy live photo. There also seems to be an issue when changing the live effect to ‘bounce’ as it only repeats the same 1 second of animation instead of the full 4 seconds. Looking elsewhere for a video to live photo wallpaper tool.

Pleasant to use, but feature-minimal. Compared to all the apps for working with live photos that rely on absurd subscriptions and intrusive ads, this is a breath of fresh air! Unfortunately, there are many features it doesn’t have which I would expect or hope it would. Some functionality that doesn’t seem to be supported as of this review (Oct. 2021): Video->Live - cropping - specify resolution - trim video clip Live->GIF - back-and-forth looping - tweening - trim video I’ve only used this app for a few minutes so far, so there are probably many other things I haven’t looked for (and I haven’t explored all the types of conversion it does support). Verdict: If this app does what you need it to, I highly recommend it! It seems to work great, it looks quite good, and it’s pretty lightweight and speedy.

Dev contacted me!. Dev contacted me over the gif issue, which is unusual for any app dev, so even though it is still a problem, fact is he wants to fix it. Just download the app, the dev is actually helpful!

Beautiful, but.... It's an amazing app with all the features as the other apps for this price, and more, but when converting gif to live photo the result comes out a bit choppy and seems like a bunch of images rather than a live photo.

The update messed up the quality. Everything is pixelated after the update. . Not happy with that.

Flawless. I wanted a video to be a live wallpaper. I got this app. BOOM done. No problems what so ever. No headache. No lemme change this setting. Just works...in seconds too! Thank you to Aaron who created this amazing app! Exactly what I wanted. Oh and to everyone whose mad over 1 dollar think about thet the next time you don’t finish some food you buy.

The perfect all-in-one solution. This app fills in the gaps that iOS and Live Photos are missing. Converting Live Photos to GIFs works like a charm. Similarly the Video to Live Photo conversion is flawless. I love it.

Works super well!!. This app converts from video to live photo super well. Even HD vids turn out really crisp.

Very pleased. I’ve been trying to find a great app for transferring either a gif or video into a Live Photo, and this is it. It can make Live Photo’s that are longer than 5 seconds, unlike the previous app I was using. It is also much more simple than the last app I was using. I recommend it.

App keeps crashing. I just bought the app and it’s not even working properly. It keeps crashing while trying to make a video into a Live Photo. More specifically after picking a key frame. Glad it wasn’t an expensive app but disappointed since I read such great reviews :/

Live photo to gif conversion crashes. Was able to convert a video (you must trim the video down to size to work) to a live photo with ease

Gifs don't work. I got this to convert gifs into live wallpapers, and the function does not work. It takes the first frame and copies it over every other frame, so it just looks like a still image. It keeps coming up with half a dozen frames of the same image after conversion. Whether I get the gif from my library or a browser link, the result is always the same.

Wish I never bought this...👎🏻👎🏻. Where to start? ok sound it sounded cool turn your gifs into Live Photo’s and which sounds pretty awesome and it’s only 1$ why not get it? So I made that mistake... when you go into the app it lets you pick from five categories I chose the gif to Live Photo, when I did clicked on it there was no individual photo albums just my main one panoramas burst and video not much of a selection.. also you would think that if you (choose) gif to Live Photo it would only show you gifs well it doesn’t and you click on one that’s a regular photo (I don’t even know why it doesn’t short them...) it sends you back to the main menu to start all over again... so this app is already a freaking big pain plus I had to pay a 1$ for it and there’s more issues... after you finally select a a gif which *there is no way to tell* it gives you a few options which non of them mater.. then after you save your photo to the camera roll the Live Photo plays not for as long as your gif does not as long as a normal love photo would.. but only for a half second... omg this app is complete 🤮garbage🤮 if you see this review don’t pay a dolor just save your money

Does what it says!!!. Recently, I got myself a brand knew iPhone 6s and immediately fell in love with Live Photos. I took heaps of Live Photos and shared it with my friends. But one thing that bothered me was editing and converting. Then I found this app by accident. This app is 100% the best out of the others. It does what it says and is very simple to use. The layout is gorgeous and elegant! I would hands down recommend this app, even though it's not free. But other than that this app is the best Live Photos converter!!! 👍

Didnt do the one thing i payed for. Tried to make live wallpapers but it never managed to save any of them no mater how many times i pressed the export, managed to save a 320p gif tho

Great App, but.... It does everything quickly and well, completely worth the cost. The only thing that was inconvenient was when i converted a video into a live photo, then i noticed a very big drop in the video’s quality after the conversion. But other than that, it’s alright!

Perfect. Really great app! You can create live photos from GIFs, choose the display frame and use them as your wallpaper like I do which looks great! Only thing is I wish I could see only GIFs displayed in my photo library when in the GIF to live photo section. Although having a symbol to show which photos are live photos helps because then there aren't so many to look through.

Crashes. Hello, the app crashes when importing a picture and when converting a video to live photo

Just what I've been looking for. I've been waiting for an app to create Live Photos ever since getting the iPhone 6s Plus on launch day. That app is here and it's glorious! Works quickly, is simple to use, and the results are excellent. Support from the developer is amazing with detailed answers and very quick responses Highly recommended!

IT REALLY WORKS!!. 05/29/16 TRIED USING THIS TO MAKE A LIVE PHOTO FROM A GIF AND IT TOTALLY WORKS!! I've already converted around 10 GIFs!! Have to try video next time!! But so far my $0.99 is not wasted!!

Great app. At first it was okay I thought the gifs looks a bit odd but I emailed the creator of the app and he responded quite quick and let me test the new update and all my complaints were fixed.The Live Photos look great!A video saving app and this app work fantastic together

Unusable. I'm on iOS 10 with iCloud photos and I can't find any picture taken in the last year or so. Any other app can access them but not this one.

Don't be sneaky. The company advertise this as (for a limited time) a free app on a website. But it's actually not free, you need to buy an in app purchase to use its features.

Great App. I have been waiting for this type app since when I bought iPhone 6s Plus.by default there's only fish wallpaper..those not enough...Great app.But Live photo Export quality should be improved. Anyone having iPhone 6s or 6S plus this is essential app.
