to start. I downloud this app now and I dont have account. how can I create a account?

Login broken. Login is broken. Unable to log into my account on app. I will have to resort to using the desktop. Please fix and become a better competitor to Airbnb

Decent App, Buggy & Needs Work. Overall Ok but has some issues. Need to be able to archive inbox messages in app and not lose messages if you switch between app and other apps. You lose your work when you switch.

Don’t waste your time. I rent two apartments and a house on Airbnb and Homeaway and thought that adding another platform would be a no brainer… Boy was I wrong. I have not had one positive rental experience from TripAdvisor in over 2 years. From over-needy guests, to scammers attempting to book last minute, horrible customer service, exorbitant fees and add-ons, and the list could go on and on. Please don’t waste your time like I did with this platform. I’m sure they will be out of business soon enough.

Ehhh. I don't know why this app won't sync with all my other calendars? Makes me take double bookings by accident

One of the worst apps Ive used. This app is poorly designed and has obviusly been rushed through production. The User Interface is at best average but its the small bugs that get to you. For instance when trying to change the status of a date in the calendar, pressing in it makes the app think you want to make a phone call. Use Airbnb if you want a better app.

A major improvement!!!. The new app is a major improvement over the slow and clunky old FlipKey app. Job well done, TripAdvisor!

Needs major work. The app concept is good, but very limited on execution. I cannot upload photos of our units........I certainly can upload multiple photos in the VRBO and Airbnb apps....Come on TA! Get with it

Pretty bad. For such a big company, their app is buggy and lots of lag. there's been many times it crashes and I have no idea if it's sent the message/actually accepted the request.

Owner app excellent. Easy to use and allows flexibility with adjusting dates and rates as needed. Easy for communication with guests.

Poorly made application. I currently have listing on this site and Airbnb, and the difference with both applications is astounding. It's always crashing, or freezing. You can't update your listing and consolidate calendars. I'm not sure why this takes so much money from my listing, they aren't applying it to make this application any better.

No Sign Up Option. Not very user friendly. I'm trying to set up a username/password and got stuck at the sign-in page with nowhere to go!!

Wouldn't know how it works.... It would be nice if I could actually use the app. It opens to a login page with nowhere to sign up if you don't have an account already. I'm not going to take the time to create an account in my browser when it should clearly be an option within the app. Good luck with this one.

Good. What happened to the calendar for the owner? It was a good and easy visually, now it changed. :/ The old review: The website's customer center called me asking to set-up the seasonal rates for our rental property. They care. Good. So I went to moble app trying to do what they asked. The app not only doesn't let me to set the correct dates and keeps messing them up, it's also telling me I can't set the rates I want! It gives me suggestions like "Make sure that..." that do not make any sense in regards to what I'm trying to do! The app is updated. Very bad app. Competitors have it together, sorry to say. Want to try to make a suggestion about the technical issue? Good luck finding the contact info on line to send the message! Was able to set the rates and dates I need on the website. An hour of my time is wasted.

Terrible. Cannot upload photos from the app. So irritating. Makes me not want to have my listing with this company if they can’t get their technology correct. Airbnb and VRBO are the way to go.

Terrible. Downloaded the app. Get sign in page BUT nothing else. Of course I can’t sign in because I don’t have an account. Nothing is available to get out of that window or to close the application

Responding to enquiries. I have my property listed with Trip Advisor but when I try to enter and respond to an enquiry it is impossible to find it in my inbox. It seems there are two conflicting apps - one with my listing and the other saying not completed. Either one is virtually impossible to manage.

Awesome App. I love this app, haven't had any issues booking, getting messages and keeping up with calendars for my properties, have had a 30% increase in bookings due to the timely response rate I can give clients and I can make quick changes to my listings anytime I want...Really easy to use, really awesome job, don't change anything😊

Flipkey is fantastic. The Flipkey app through trip advisor is fantastic they have thought of everything! It is very easy to set up and use. My clients also find it easy to find and book their vacation spot.

Constantly refreshing and full of errors. If you have a previous version, DO NOT Upgrade to this one!! I recently updated the app and what a mistake that was. The app is now constantly refreshing/updating itself every time I try to do anything. Or when I switch between this and other apps. Often when responding to inquiries I switch between this app and others to copy and paste info and now when I do that it resets itself and does not save what I had just written. The interface hasn't changed much from previous version, but at least before it didn't freeze and constantly refresh. Horrible update. #Tripadvisor, hope you're reading this and fix the bugs soon. PLEASE! (using on iPhone 6s-64GB, iOS 9.2)

Impossibly difficult. Tried to load new photos on 3 different devices. Message said it was compatible, try another device,all times. Impossible to navigate site. INCOMPATIBLE with many SMS and makes you go to inbox on site. Will not allow certain communication with guest until they pay ENTIRE fee, even after paying deposit. If a guest asks specifics of neighborhood, How transportation goes,your last name etc or ANYTHING A guest might need to know for planning their trip or safety/ accessibility concerns, site deletes your message and guest thinks you did not bother to answer them.

New update kills owner calendar functionality!. Calendar no longer works for owners w latest update - instead of letting you choose which dates to edit/block, it now asks you if you want to "dial the number"... SO LAME!!!

If you are a host. Use another site.. The app is terrible. As a host it seems impossible to respond to a booking inquiry without sending a quote and you get very little information about potential guests. As for app support.. good luck it is non-existent.

Look elsewhere. Terrible app. Can’t hold a candle to AirBnB. Really poor execution. Don’t waste your time.

Syncing. Please bring back the "gear" on the calendar page that let's me update/sync the calendars. It's too risky to wait for it to be done automatically. Doing it manually is time consuming.

Great compared to others. The app has worked flawless so far, no bugs or issues. Also it is the most functional amongst other owner apps like Airbnb and VRBO. You can edit the listing, adjust seasonal pricing, send quotes and complete the booking

Waste of time. I was hoping trip advisor would help me expand my vacation rental reach. No such luck… I looked in the trip advisor site for my vacation rental - it’s not there. I found some separate TA site which has my rental pulled from vrbo… rate is wrong, pics are old and it doesn’t show up when searching nearby areas on the main TA site. No ability to search for a cabin or list nearby sites. So…. I go to the owner app and see the property I am trying to promote but it’s no where to be found. So I’d like help but there’s no body to call- no phone numbers for owners. I need help please!

Flip a Coin. And good luck. Still and for so long work m progress. Still trying to imitate Airbnb and still fall behind. Trying to update the calendar is question of luck; sometimes you will be able to save changes, sometimes you will not!! When replying a customer, if your phone receive an alert the application will refresh your screen and all your message will be deleted!!!! Try to contact customer service, GOOD LUCK!!! Very frustrating.

Certain functions do not work. The app won’t let me update the account information although it asked me to do so. After selecting the required information, the “NEXT” button would not work.

A lot of work for no return.. Of the potential guests all of them backed out. Too darn expensive on the TripAdvisor end. If I add enough to offset TripAdvisor costs, I out-price my rooms. If I don’t then I can’t get a fair rate so I can make enough to come out ahead.

Why can't I download the app?. I see the app and it let's me "open" the app from my email but I don't have it downloaded on my phone! I had it on my old phone but it's not on my new phone. Some kind of glitch.

Lots of texts but no support. I get messages about someone wanting to book. I open it up and the request is not there. Then get pissy messages from TripAdvisor saying they are going to rate me lower- even though I keep getting an error occurred try again I want my listing deleted- TripAdvisor is a pain in the A—

Great app for managing rentals. I can see and accept rentals. Love it.

Just OK. Recent update blows... icon notifications don't clear so it always looks like I have something to tend to but I don't.

Not a fan. I’ve recently added TripAdvisor to my vacation rentals strategy and compared the the Airbnb app, it is disappointing. I cannot check anything because the login screen pops up and disappears before I can log in and doesn’t show me anything. You could learn a lot from Airbnb. I guess I will have to use my laptop to manage guests. Boo.

Can't use this app as vacation owner. When try to use this app it straight goes to a section for travelers who are looking for a place to book. Do not give me any option to switch from traveler mode to vacation owner mode.

Can't even login - doesn't even mask errors. Takes you to an Apache auto generated error page about get methods failing. Wow. Worst app I've seen. Even worse than HomeAway.

TOTAL CRAP - I'd give it a -5 star, if I could. Worst user experience. Prob the worst app I've ever used. Took me 10 min to figure out total on the reservation made. These idiots have never seen the Airbnb app or site. Text is scrolling off the page; none of the features in the photo section work; no dragging, editing, changing cover photo. I'm removing my listing because of how pathetic the app & site are. Wake up you immature, feeling entitled developers.

No option to sign up?? FAIL. If you don't give users an option to sign up... You failed usability test #1. Though I assume all your regression tests start with logging in... Not actually signing up as a new user. All there is - is a user name and password field with a forgot password link and sign in button. Even if you enter in info that isn't recognized no subsequent option to sign up. Call your QA manager ... Quickly.

Not user friendly. Unable to enter pictures on app. Cumbersome and confusing online, too. Other vacation rental brokers can do this, why can’t TripAdvisor? Just disappointing. Not user friendly.

Horrible app. What a shame for TripAdvisor to have this slow, unreliable and complicated app. Listing is a property is such a complicated thing not to mention editing pictures or responding message. Developers download Airbnb and learn how a booking app should work.

Food for Foodies. We wanted to experience traditional Czech cuisine and Leona provided that and so much more. She was happy to talk to us about how the food is prepared and life in general in Prague today. Portion sizes were just right as we moved between venues. We were so impressed with the food, drinks and service that we returned to 2 of the restaurants over the following days. We had a wonderful evening with a great group of people and highly recommend Leona for her hospitality.

It's works, it's clunky, God forbid a call or text arrives while typing!. It's an ok app. It lets me do what I need to while managing my listing. So it works. However: it's clunky and awkward. The menu drop down just feels a little funny. Not the best UI but usable. Biggest issue: WHY DOES IT FULLY REFRESH WHEN ANYTHING HAPPENS ON MY PHONE?? I've had to rewrite a response several times only to finally give up and write in Notes app so that when a text comes in or I flip to another app to refer to dates the whole damn thing doesn't reload and blow away everything I was writing. So frustrating. I'm assuming it's live polling the website in the most literal sense, I am not typing in the app, I am typing on the website via the app and nothing is stored locally like a regular well behaved app. Fix this for the love of God, please and I'll give ya a couple more stars. Thanks.

Needs a lot work. There is no access for owners. Why? Trip Advisor to use seems to function properly. As an owner it’s garbage. Can’t do this . Can’t do that. Can’t get in. Can’t respond. Wow. Something is very wrong.

Rental relief. Thanks for the app, it is easy to use and has all the functions that are needed to respond to the enquirer and secure the booking.

Super Annoying. This app drives me crazy as it refreshes itself if you get distracted and erases any information about your rental you may have added to help provide info to potential guests. So I guess it's fine as long as you don't have any specific questions to answer or ever get a phone call in the middle of responding.

Terrrible App. It doesn’t work at all can’t even eat past the login screen.

Works well, easy to use!. I host with this app and have had no problems. Makes access to info super easy regardless of you location.

Can’t Login. I downloaded the app. I opened the app. It opened on the login screen where it asked for username and password. I have no username and password since I just opened the app for the first time. There is no option to create a username and password. Might want to fix this if you want people to use your app.

Missing features. It's not a bad app...but it's missing some important features, like the ability to add, delete & edit captions on photos.

Needs work. Extremely buggy and not to user friendly. Quite a bit of fixing is needed.

Glitches. Cannot click on reply to potential renter or adjust the rental cost. Need to update this.

Getting there.... Still some bugs. Review page is glitchy and half cut off. As someone with multiple properties it's annoying to have to click into the finer details every time just to know what property someone is inquiring about. But great work. Night and day since first released!

Needs ios8 to run. Disaster. I have an iPhone 4, now I have to buy a new phone to run this app. I can't use the old flipkey app anymore so this is no good to me as a rental home owner

Really below TripAdvisor standards. As a brand I love TripAdvisor, but this release is so incredibly bad that I have major doubts about the model if using the TA brand in tandem with vacation rentals. I should say I was already unimpressed with FlipKey, but I had assumed that it was acquired by TA and therefore legacy as far as development and code. This new app is astonishing in its tone deafness to the sharing economy and what short term rental owners are used to from AirBNB and competitive interfaces. The design and typography are extremely hard to read and tiny. The interface looks like it was put together by a coder without the very least amount of design. It has so few valuable features that it makes me wish I had my old FlipKey back just because at the tie of its release at least they tried to provide something. Summarily across the board this app is an insult to the people who align with TA to leverage the TA brand with their properties. I will wait about three months and if this app is not improved I plan to remove my listing from TA all together and stick with AirBNB who knows how to design for the customer and outs user experience first. This was a sad and complete mis-step for TripAdvisor.

Doesn't Work :-/. Each time I try logging in I'm redirected to reCAPTCHA, which then fails to connect.

Pésimo. Trip advisor es pésimo, recibí una reserva y hasta ahora no me envían el dinero, tienen muy pocas opciones para enviarte el dinero y comunicarte con ellos es imposible.

Terrible. I don’t feel safe hosting with them.. I’m a long-time superhost on Airbnb. I downloaded the trip advisor app to reach a different market and increase my booking for dead months (usually 97-100% booked on Airbnb during normal months). Big mistake. There is no review system for the guests who book with me on TripAdvisor’s platform, so I don’t know if they were good guests in the past. As a matter of fact, I don’t even see any info of the guy until I send them an offer. Being new to the platform, I made an offer thinking I’ll see the information afterwards. They took my offer, and I was immediately bound to the booking, still with no idea who is coming into my house. I live in the house and rent out two private rooms. Not being able to see who’s coming into my primary residence makes me worried about my personal safety. When I called customer service to cancel the booking, the agent was very impatient with me and told me there would be a $150 charge for cancellation, 3x what Airbnb charges. Spoke to the manager, and she says she will give them a call to verify their identity. That’s only a temporary fix and I would have to do that for every request I get with them if I were to continue hosting. They kept saying they don’t want to cancel my reservation and it seemed to me they were more worried about the money than about making me feel safe as a host. Overall, my experience hosting on TripAdvisor is horrible and I would never use them again until they come up with a better solution for this issue.

App won’t let me log in code ver is failing. Put in username password and then it asks for the code that gets texted. Problem is the Texted number is to large by one digit! I’ve tried the first 5 but that fails too. So, this app is useless for me as of today! Also, the help to contact support will not let you choose a subject (which is required)... so you can’t contact them either!!!

Worst app EVER. Can't get past the 405 error. App Doesn't work!
