* Bug fixes and performance improvements
I love using this app to keep myself organized. However I wish the block setting would allow you to put your notes in whatever order you wanted them, instead of shuffling the notes around out of the particular order you wanted. Otherwise I love this app, fun, easy and functional.
I love using this app, and it’s probably the most important one I use. I use it to organize artwork I’ve done, and inspiration for future drawings/paintings. The only issue I have is the app crashes VERY often. Tap to enlarge an image, crash. Add too many images, crash. Delete an image too soon after adding it, crash. I mean, it’s at the point where I have to stop using the app because I can’t get anything done without it crashing. Please fix the crashes or tell me what I’m doing wrong, because I really need this app.
The current version won't stay open on screen. It crashes often. Can’t load notes I’ve made on my computer. This app is horrible.
I’m not going to say anything
The only details they provide for all apps is : bug fixes and performance... Really!!??
We need undo button & more like a feature to make a note finished. (So even when we open a note and wont accidentally re-edits and change the edited date)
Would love to be able to HIGHLIGHT a line in a note rather than make a separate note with a background color. Or BOLD. Or UNDERLINE. Something that would distinguish one line from another.
i’m kinda perplexed by some of the complaints from recent reviewers. i’m low tech though & perhaps that’s to my advantage when it comes to this app because i’ve tried dozens like it over the course of my many years as an iphone haver & this app changed the game for me. i’ve had it a year or more and it’s given me exactly zero issues. it’s convenient, colorful, functional, & free. if i were you i’d download this sweet little widget wonder and if you don’t like it then delete it. i’m here to help & you are all welcome 😉
I think there is potential for this app to be better than the apple reminders app, but there’s one glaring weakness- it won’t display a badge notification. So if your reminder goes off and you miss or don’t notice the banner, that’s it. There’s no red circle indicating something is overdue. I can’t recommend this app to anyone unless that feature gets added...it’s mind boggling to me that in 2019 an official google app wouldn’t have the standard notifications setup that even terrible knock-off game apps have.
Thank you google! Keep up the great work! It would be great if you can let us choose a default label so I don’t have to keep labeling my notes and pics.
It keeps glitching whenever I open it and it never shows me the images I’ve taken. It’s really frustrating to use. I use to love it but now i really hate it
If you create notes or drawings with the pen and you have lines, the lines move when you reopen the note. Wow!!!!! So nothings stays aligned.
Doesn't read you home/ work address or contacts address even when signed in. More functionality needed. Unsure why we even have to have a Google keep to do location based reminders when reminders in calendar should do this While in the app, there's 2 sections- notes and reminders. To make a reminder, though, you need to go back into notes and create a note, turn it into a reminder. App needs a lot of work
I’ve been enjoying Google Keep for awhile now and even recommended it to others. However, this morning it prompted me to refresh it, and when I did, all my files disappeared. Just like that. ... ok, addendum: I updated the app and they came back. I’m thankful for this, but I feel like they shouldn’t have disappeared in the first place. I’ve upgraded my rating from 2 stars to 4 — I still like the App, but this was a lot of stress.
Can you please add an onion for drop down lists in the label area so if someone wants to add multiple items in one label instead of creating more then one label for the same list would be helpful
Why won’t it appear on my Apple Watch like other apps do? I have the latest version of both app and watch, help is of no use, is there a trick to it?
This app is great but the ability to enter tables would be great.
Great app. But it seems that recent updates and 'refresh' has become a regular and glacial handbrake on using the app.
Is there anyway the list can be arranged in alphabetical order?
would be better if it did support apple pencil.
I am a new user of Keep as I ran out of free storage in Evernote and I don’t want to buy the new version of Office in order to use OneNote. I like Keep overall but I wanted to report a bug. After a screenshot is taken, there is an option to send the screenshot to Keep, but it does not work. If this bug can be fixed, I would upgrade my rating to a 4/5.
If you and your students are using Google Classroom, Keep is an excellent addition to research tools. Show the young scholars how to use keep to save articles, and they don’t forget to copy info required in their Works Cited Page. Keep also allows group collaboration and when used in conjunction with Google Slides and Documents provides excellent communication for students working at home or unable to communicate orally (Reduces Social interruptions and promotes productivity). Particularly valuable when multiple students develop portions of projects independently with the intention of sharing/combining in final group activity.
Google Keep used to be usable and even kinda nice, but lately it's gotten so slow that it's completely unusable
Sometimes it will suddenly close while I’m editing a list - see below. I LOVE the colors, ability to add photos to lists, & the choice to format with or without the check boxes. It would be nice to be able to organize some of the lists alphabetically AND still pin those that are most used. HOWEVER, on my iPhone, the app is suddenly closing when I am editing my lists. This happens most when I am trying to make a sub list. Pulling a checklist item over to be under the main list is a time consuming, often unsuccessful task. After 3-4 attempts, the app completely shuts down. This started beginning of May 2019. PLEASE FIX!
Please make compatible with Siri on iPhone. Im going back to Apple Reminders because it is voice automated. I dont have to pick up or touch my phone set a reminder/note. Make life 100% better when on a spur of the moment item needs a reminder
Keep is too sensitive when you open a note and try to scroll. Instead, it can easily enter edit mode as soon as your thumb touches the screen. So annoying! I don't have such a problem with Evernote. Maybe that's the game changer!
Would be much more user friendly if the tiles could be rearranged by clicking and dragging.
I prefer using everything google from mail to photos because everything syncs up no matter what device you’re on and when I found out there was a notes app I immediately downloaded it,, I really like the concept and how you can have the checkboxes and colors however the labels and archiving don’t sync up very well. I like to have some notes for cooking or workouts and not have them clog up my main screen so I archive them and put them in their labels, but when I click the label and click the notes it brings me to the archive section, but the device still thinks It is in the individual label and I have to click out and click back it to get just the notes in the label to pop back and it’s quite annoying. I would prefer it if the labels acted like folders in drive rather than just labels or have the options for both.
I love this app on android devices. On apple products especially the iPhone, the font is way to small to be usable.
Been using this app for years and the best parts are how simplistic it is to use and the best part it’s free!
Thank you for adding it to iWatch. Very useful.
I love this app, my busy life just got easier.
Constantly crashes and freezes, keeps asking me to select a google account to use (only have one on this device) and then takes ages to even show any of the notes.
Background sync doesn’t work. iOS 11.4. Switched to OneNote, if google will continue so bad support of apps on iOS, will completely switch to MS.
Best app for taking quick notes Very handy
How to add photo to each task? Would b nice if each task has a visual photo.
One of the best apps I have ever seen. Simple to use, and emulates note-taking via notepad and sticky notes so well, meaning these no longer need to be carried around. The export to docs option also means the notes can be backed up. My favourite and most used app.
The app is very good. The service itself is missing some features such as binders/folders, and the ability to move a task between lists.
