Very frustrating app. I have tried to upgrade this app by purchasing the upgrades twice. I still am not able to unlock any of the upgraded content. I have also tapped the restore purchase button and it says my purchases are restored but still I am unable to unlock anything. Very difficult to find the software developer online to get any help. I love the content of the app but I would like my purchase.

It’s not working. I don’t know if I missed an update, but when I try to listen to speakers, I just get kicked out of the app

Great Meeting in your Backpocket. On off days when I have a lot to do or some traveling I love to listen to a speech. It’s not always possible for me to get to a meeting but with this app I am just a few clicks away from what I need to hear.

Unsettled. I love using this app. When I have problems at home or work I can turn it on at any time and hear someone speaking my language. Sometimes it is just the sound of the speakers voice that is a blessing. ❤️

They Lock What You Listen To. So they lock what you listen to in an attempt to force you to pay for the App. That’s low.

Audio Failing to Load. It seems that the developer has given up on it. Continuously getting ‘Sorry - Couldn’t load the audio’ error message. It was great while it worked; hence, 3 instead of 1 stars.

So Convenient. I can get a speaker meeting without going anywhere.

I’m not so different!. For years I thought being in a family of “functioning alcoholics”, married to one in denial and now as mother of my only child. But it’s a common pattern many people face. These talks have helped me to realize that and find some hope for my future dealing with this painful disease.

Misleading. I was led to believe that there was some free content with this app and some in-app purchases. Every single thing must be purchased to be utilized. I'm disappointed in the misrepresentation and therefore will not use this app in the future.

A pick me up. I LOVE this app. I can pick it up and start listening anytime I start spiraling, and I’m reminded of my program and it gets me moving again. Love it.

Fraudulent. It's against AA and Alanon guidelines to charge for this. Speaker tapes are available for free on the internet.

Can't access what I paid for. I bought a lifetime membership but can't access what's locked. It says my membership access is restored, but when I click on an unlocked speaker, I only get the pay screen over and over. Must be a glitch in the app.

Grateful. I am grateful for this app. I wish they had one for adult children of alcoholics. I’d pay double for that one! LOL but seriously folks, I’m happy that there are digital tools to help when I need it. This app is really good.

Great app, helps me in my journey of recovery. Many and most times I use and utilize this app is at night , when I’m feeling lonely or alone. The meditation music and guided really helps ground me and relax my mind, body, and spirit. If I hadn’t found these and many tools of the Alanon program I do not know where I would be today. I am so blessed and grateful today!

Hard to find. Great picks. Not any good apps for Alanon and this one has some of the best talks ever.

Generally a positive, helpful daily reminder of Al-Anon ideas. Generally a positive, helpful daily reminder of Al-Anon ideas. It’s good to pull my head out of the daily grind. I find these little slogans memes are uneven in their relevance and specificity to the program. For example “We’re all geniuses but ... “ (and it says a clever thing about not judging a fish by its ability to climb a tree)... BUT .. We’re NOT all geniuses -NOR should we need to be. For me it’s lacking an essential element of recovery- Humility - while it promotes the terrific concept of not judging others.

Program on the Go. I love this app. In my short time working the program, these speaker meetings have helped immensely. I have the ability to nourish my newfound lifestyle and change my undesirable behaviors. I am so very grateful that I have the ability to listen and learn especially when I can’t get to a meeting. I once read that the program is like learning a new language. It is easier if you immerse yourself in the language. This is one of the ways I can immerse myself in the program while I am on the go.

Glitches. Frequently want to listen but I get error codes :(

Wish there were more. Quality is so much better then others I've found. Hopefully they release more speakers soon.

Almost 5-star. Would give it 5 stars if you could pick up where you left off after quitting the app and there was a 30 second rewind option. The content is great but playback can be a bit cumbersome.

Many of the best speakers. Although there aren’t a lot of male speakers, nevertheless there are a lot of good ones.

Helped Me Get Through Hard Days. I love this app!!! I paid to unlock all the tapes because I was so impressed with the first set. These tapes have gotten me through difficult nights when there are no meetings. I’ve gotten help working the steps with listening to how other people worked their steps. I’m not really a fan of the Forum stories section. Somehow there’s a disconnect between the story and having them all read by the same person with the same tone. I can’t even listen to many of those. I tried but I don’t feel a connection with the story being told.

Poor response from developer. Like others have mentioned in reviews, I paid for 3 months to unlock all episodes. After a few days, they were all locked again. Did the usual delete, re download app, but still nothing. Emailed developer, I got crickets. Nothing, nada.

Must have for recovery.. I have been in aa for 12 years. Never understood the steps and the program as fully as I do now after the Keith and Sue steps and traditions study. Some amazing content in this app.

Support does not exist. Have a new phone and have tried to contact them many times without any replies. I paid for the lifetime upgrade and app shows it as restored but only receive the free content. Lifetime is only as long as you don’t change phones.
