Sub par. Invoices look ok. Program set up ok. Could deal with all the ok’s but hv spent most of my time on this app dealing with frozen pages and crashes. Will definitely be unsubscribing and deleting soon at this rate. Using on a 2020 Mac book air

Very user friendly. I’ve been using moon invoice for my small business since 2017. They have a very easy system to learn for starters and I now when a repeat customer needs another invoice, I can make one in seconds. It’s also great to make PO’s and they look professional.

The best invoice software!. The amount of features on this app are extraordinary, and are capable of helping any business. The most useful features are the invoice creation and the estimates, and they have helped my business stay organized and grow. Highly recommend to all businesses looking for a multitude of services, plenty of which Mooninvoice provides.

Very good, but I want great.. First up. Literally my first ever app review. So I guess that means something ? I love everything about Moon Invoice. The system, layout, user experience, heck… I even love the way invoices and packing slips print out .. but… With all the features offered, I am still missing out in one HUGE omission that keeps me from making Moon my sole software. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add a client portal / customer history feature… so my clients can login anytim 24/7 and see order history and make any open invoice payments. This would save me HOURS AND HOURS A WEEK and I would gladly pay more for a feature like this.

Best Invoicing Software. Like 2 years or more ago, i was using another invoicing software, but it did not sync well between my phone/ipad and my computers, then i found this one, and man what a change!! It’s all super easy and intuitive, what i would like to see in future updates is the possibility to add inventory and kits, lets say i have a product that needs 1x part A, 1x part B and 1x Part C, at the moment, there is no option to create a product that uses other products, lt has to be added as a new one, so it would be really good to have something like that, so that when you sell one, inventory from A,B and C get the parts deducted, other than that, it is awesome!!

Good app getting better. This app covers the basics well and is getting better. There used to be a problem with the size of a picture of a receipt you wanted to track it they have fixed that problem. Good snapshot of the status your invoices.

Does exactly what it needs to, and does it well. While it is pretty basic, it’s surprisingly powerful. Tracks expenses and inventory,does purchase orders and reports, and of course invoices and receivables. Seamlessly works on the mac and the iphone, which is handy. Perfect for my needs. Affordable too. Had a question, and an actual human got back to me quickly, and even followed up days later. Very happy.

There is no way they have that many stars. It started out as a decent app, I paid the price for a full version by 20 something dollars, then after a couple months they kept changing the program once a week, no warning no justification every iteration worse than the last and then they cancelled the program jumbled up all my customers in contacts and decided to start charging monthly and charge per Company, their version said I had three companies and were charging me three times a monthly fee for an application that I bought out right, and it was completelyAnd other crap I hated it. this company is a scam, This is the worst app ever completely disappointed and scammed.

Works fantastic!. Love it. I recently started a side hobby business. This is a great little app to create invoices. I love how it allows you to input information to create an itemized invoice. Easily add tax and the app keeps track of may thinks like tax, inventory, outstanding balances, etc. I would recommend using both the MacBook and Mobile versions. Thanks for creating a great Tool that is user friendly for beginners but give appearance of aprofessional!

Prepare for disappointment. My company has used Moon Invoice for 3+ years. When it works it is a good enough system for our uses. However, there have been several occasions where an “update” caused major glitching in the system, removing tabs, forcing autofill entries and making the program miserable to try to use. When I reached out for support of these issues their inevitable response was that the next update will fix it. Then you wait either bated breath to see if the next update miraculously makes it the subpar invoicing system we sadly depend on. Often times the issue is not fixed for several updates and you waste time trying to use the product you unfortunately paid for. The last straw was an update that made all the products disappear from the invoices and purchase orders. We finally switched to Zoho Invoice and love it.

Locked account. I’ve been trying to unlock my account since like 3 months ago and this month I was charged and still I can’t login. The first time I tried to get help iver the website I was told that my email wasn’t on the system and how come I was charged but I’m not on the system? Next I sent an email with no response and so I’m here writing this review. Let me have to say one last thing, I used an email relayed because it is a business account and even if this gets fixed I’m not going to renew, this kind of things are inexcusable to happen for a serious company

Very convenient. We love the ease and ability to bill, receive and track all of our receivables in one place. It makes it so convenient. The best part is that it get us remind about overdue payments by sending notifications.

Watch out for data loss!!! And slow support. They advertise 24/7 support and a southern california telephone number and a online chat. Phones forward overseas and rings a while and then disconnected. Chat app no one is live when ever i have used it. Emails are very slow to respond. This is now the 3rd time while trying to sync data that i have lost a bu ch of it. Now i have no way to know who owes me money or records of payment amoung other things. I cant reach anyone. Last time it happened it was the same exact issue. I liked this app but i cant handle this anymore. I need urgent support. Not hours later when i am sleeping. You cant speak to anyone live either.

Such high hopes. I really loved this app for the almost two years I used it. It was easy, had a nice modern interface, allowed for time tracking, and multiple businesses, etc even on their most affordable upgrade. I remember having to upgrade to their next level from the base paid plan for some reason... At any rate was really irritated when I was on vacation and a client wanted an estimate / invoice same day and I tried creating one via the phone app and sending it, only for it to never go through. I started to notice lots of glitches that weren’t syncing and mirroring with the computer based app, and then to top it all off, wouldn’t work across all platforms towards the end of my use. It would state I was paid up on on the computer for example, only to have it kick me off the phone app and say my membership was expired. I’d try syncing it, rebuying it, downloading and deleting all of them and nothing. Not okay especially if I’m paying. I’ve switched over to Wave apps invoice which is free and has all but the time tracking. Hopefully I can trust this company or else I’m going to do this the old school way and create manual spreadsheets. Third times the charm I hope ! Best of luck to this company but I shouldn’t have to go out of my way to make things work for them. Other way around.

Good job. For a mobile accounting app it does a fairly good job, and obviously the most important part is the Moon Invoice intigration and having that information accessible wherever I go. One of the best feature is, it offers cross-platform synchronization. One thing that should be add is web version of the application.

Do not buy this app.. If you buy Moon Invoice, you will regret it, eventually. Their whole system is non-standard and “quirky”. This quirkiness grows to major usability problems over time. The devs regularly “fix” things that result in existing features being broken. Substantial changes are made in this app without warning or release notes to call out major differences. The app pesters you for a review every 5 minutes (as confirmed by the support team). Customer support is a joke. They simply ignore messages and replies they don’t like. Basic usability is hampered by thoughtless devs who don’t seem to understand the use of this app. This app is relatively cheap. That is its only plus argument. Don’t buy it. Now you've been warned.

Changes LOOK cool but it doesn’t work as well as it used too. It took me forever to get the system figured out and after a few months I had it down. Every week I’ll copy 5 invoices from the previous week and set the dates on them so I don’t forget each day when I fill them out well I did it this week and it’s messed up my sequence in invoice numbers and the date can’t be changed I went from looking professional to looking like a friggin idiot. What kind of invoice number is 413.1??? When I trash the invoice I want the same invoice number as an option

Easy to use and great feature. I’m a low voltage alarm contractor And I love this billing generator app because I can write a proposal ASAP and text or email it on the fly. I use it everyday then later I can forward it to my office for an upload to the books. Love it.

Couple Year’s Review. I came over to Moon Invoice when Totals fell into ghostware (at least on the Mac App Store) which must be four years ago now. I am on the Silver subscription as a freelancer needing only one business to keep track of. I rely solely on the invoice function, estimates and time tracking not so much. I did not have cross platform functionality with Totals which has been absolutely flawless during my entire time with Moon (iphone ipad and mbp). The only reason I do not rate Moon five stars is because, as far as I know, and this may have changed in an update, there is no way to associate a cost with a product. I would like a way to not count my expenses toward my total income. I highly recommend this invoice software.

Great as a consulting invoicing system. They are always issuing new updates and new features. The program always runs smoothly, the invoices are easy to mail. Easy to adjust and look great. Everything is highly customizable, yet simple and intuitive to use. There are a few items I’d like to see enhanced. One would be the credit system’s integration with the time sheets. It would be nice if when a client has a prepaid credit the invoice for that client or project we’re to automatically take money from the credit and make a not on the credit bill which invoices the money has been applied to. Also, I would love for clients or projects to show more about how much they are billed, and owe (or have credit) in the timed invoice area. No app does everything, but this one has been the best and most flexible in dozens of different areas. Highly recommend.

Very useful. I can only say wish i downloaded it earlier. My full year is almost up and switching to their books program same price but a lot more options.

Easy to use and Invoice. There are so many features available on this great app that I don’t have a need for in my business, but I’m glad to know they’re there if I expand! Currently I’m a one-man-band. I’m nearing 60, so this app is appropriate for us older guys who might not be so tech savvy. And my consultancy work is fast, so I have my invoice done and submitted while I’m at the airport on the way home. No late invoicing on my end. It’s easy to keep my clients organized and their individual billing rates are easy to set up. Over the years I’ve been a user I’ve had a handful of issues that they always address and resolve. I tried many others but none of them came close to the functionality and ease of this app (not to mention the web version which I can access if my cel happens to have died.) I’ve used the web interface in hotel business centers, the desktop in lobbies, borrowed lap-tops, and even the occasional print shop/computer rental shop. So even if all my technology goes kaput, I can still get my money. I can’t recommend this app highly enough. It fits my needs perfectly.

Great app. I work as a flat rate mechanic and I use this app to keep track of my hours and jobs that I have worked on because if I didn't I wouldn't get paid for the jobs that I have done that my employer missed on my time sheet. I would recommend other flat rate mechanics to use it instead of the old way on paper.

Read the fine print. This app would be a great tool to use along with the osx version, but having to buy this app and then the upgrade to the "full version" and then on top of that pay again to add multiple companies it's a bit of a rip off. Also, when updates to the app are issued you have buy the "upgrades" again.

Great pricing, easy to use, syncs across devices. Needs to support PayPal within invoicing. I’ve been using this application to manage a small business for around 2 years now. It’s simple, neat, easy to use, and the ability to manage the app across all my devices is excellent. For the price, I think it is an excellent option for sole traders/small business owners. I would like to start accepting PayPal + Direct Debit, however as far as I know the invoicing component does not support this. (Customer recieves invoice, invoice has a built link to PayPal/banking ect.) This would be an excellent addition in the future.

Rubbish AVOID. Used to be a rock solid app but now it’s full of glitches and unusable. Such a shame as it WAS a good app. Now just too unreliable and you can’t insert info with current glitches. Updates don’t address problems.

Photo did not fix. Now when u add an expenses you can’t take photo of the receipts it’s saying file larger than 1 mb. Not only that payment types are not appearing

Latest update is unusable. It just loads and hangs then crashes. Tried restarting my phone, reinstalling the app, no go. On iPhone XS Max 512 gb Update: with their latest update, it works fine now so guess it was some bugs that needed to be fixed.

Less than ideal. I love the desktop version, don’t get me wrong! Love it! Took some getting used to tho. The iPhone app however, is slightly terrible. Not that intuitive for starters. I don’t seem to have nearly the same functionality as the desktop app, and don’t get me started on seeing the same graphics as the app screenshots. No clue how to get those generated. I do like how simplistically the app syncs up tho, that part feels seamless. A bit more work on the app being user friendly and I’d happily bump up my rating.

Nice. For a mobile accounting app it does a fairly good job, and obviously the most important part is the Moon Invoice intigration and having that information accessible wherever I go. One of the best feature is, it offers cross-platform synchronization. One thing that should be add is web version of the application.

UPDATE now crashes the app!. The app is always crashing on me ever since it was updated 2 times prior to the last update, and it hasn’t been fixed yet! So annoying! Apart from that, this app does everything I needed! I loved it!

DONT USE THIS APP UNLESS YOU WANT IT FOREVER!. I have been trying to cancel this app for well over a year now with both the vendor and Apple. Strangely, no matter how much work I put I to cancelling, I still get charged 2,99 a month. I haven’t used it in over a year. I was finally forced to defund my PayPal account just to get out of it. Horrible app, horrible devs, horrible customer service. This company should be bankrupt by years end, the certainly deserve it.

Useless. I wrote an invoice. I tried to save it and a window popped up saying that I couldn’t save it without signing up for a free 7 day subscription. I did so and when I tried to save it the same window popped up. I’d be willing to buy the subscription if it meant that I could send the invoice but that isn’t possible until the 7 days is over. Useless

Why I love this app. I’m a low voltage alarm contractor And I love this billing generator app because I can write a proposal ASAP and text or email it on the fly. I use it everyday then later I can forward it to my office for an upload to the books. Love it!

Lost all information on last update. The support for this is garbage they always tell you to backup then uninstall the app then reinstall and back again. P. I.A I now use QuickBooks costs more but the reliability of it is totally worth it. This was was a great app to use for the first year I had it then I have no idea what has happened to them???
