Doesn't load schedules after last update. Really bad update

Would be great if it works as it should. Helpful but only goes so far. Notifications are not particularly reliable. It'll notify once if the shuttle is running late but does not notify during any subsequent/further delays. So, unless, you're actively tracking the shuttle/bus on the map, you may have to wait for an excess of 20 minutes at the stop.

Why. Why does this app have 5 stars but out of 49 reviews only 3 are 5 stars the rest are 1 an 2 stars. I now know I can’t trust your rating system

Instance. To open app and choose from a limited set of instances with no usability features killed it. Is this a functioning app or only for Bay Area?

Rash driving by sai kumar reddy. The driver named sai kumar reddy always drivers rash. He always drives more than speed limit. As I have informed him that he can drive speed then he will be telling that u can complain if u want to but no one can do anything. If it happens again then I will be informing to county police about slu ride. Most of the students have raised complaints against sai Kumar reddy but action was not taken against him. Please make sure that he is not working as it’s matter of passages safety

Annoyed with inefficient routing. My company uses tripshot for shuttle service to commute to work. The evening shuttle route to go back home is very inefficient. Even if no one is getting down at a particuler stop, it takes everyone on the shuttle to that stop. This makes no sense as everyone on the shuttle ends up wasting time. In our case its adds delay of about 30mins. Its a bummer to work for a tech company and relying on such poor navigation to commute to work. I have brought this to the notice of commute team and the explanation received from Tripshot is that for the ETA to be correct the shuttle needs to go to every single stop on the route even if no one is getting down. Who cares about ETA if everyone is reaching home 30mins late. Hope tripshot can correct this. Another area in which tripshot can improve its suggest routes based on ridership data. The route should be optimized for stops where more riders are getting down.

Horrible at its main job.. I have missed my bus soooooo many times because believe it or not you cannot see the schedule from specific stop. It always shows you all busses to all nearby stops making things confusing and hard to plan. I don’t want to plan my commute everyday, I just want to see the schedule from the bus stop I take.

First off would love to thank this poorly managed app for taking over the apps beforehand.. You guys have made a simple ticket system into a mess of an app where it took 20-30 minutes to find out how it even works. Great job! Not only that but you’re leaving people waiting for shuttles to ask if “this is their shuttle?” Good job guys. Work on the app and make it more simple? Just an idea. What a fail of a system. Sad that it’s taking over transportation.

Worst UI update. Buttons at the bottom are gone. It is very frustrating to use this app. There is a very small windows of time where the bus arrives at a stop and we board the bus. There is no time for switching to the new pay panel and then search for near by busses. Now I have to tap thrice to do anything in this app. Do you want to see where the bus is on the maps— press three or four times to get into the screen. When you are in hurry, it becomes frustrating to do so many number of user interactions. Please have a goal of making it even easier to get into different panels.

They no longer allow new sign-ups. I can no longer use it because i lost my password and they do not allow new accounts. Cannot recommend any more. New users need not apply.

Easy to use, reliable!. Great app, especially since I’m not familiar with the area but visit often. Highly recommend!

Where is the real time status?. I found my route and all it shows is the schedule. it should show a map with the bus location. I have accidentally stumbled upon the real-time status feature once or twice but I honestly cant find it now. It seems like a no brainer to show it on the same page as the route. Also, there needs to be a favorites section. I don't want to run a search every time I want to see the status of my shuttle.

Easy to use and accurate ETA. The app is a life saver. It sends me notification 5 minutes before my shuttle arrives. The ETAs are always accurate and the interface is very intuitive.

No thought put into experience. It’s unfortunate that such a useful service requires such a frustrating and poorly designed experience. I consider my self a tech savvy person and it took me 15 minutes to figure out how to actually call a ride. There are no obvious calls to action and you have to dig through multiple menus to find anything. Bummer.

Absolutely ridiculous. Took 20 mins just to figure out how to properly use the app. Buses show up when they want, 20-40 mins after requested time. Sometimes cannot even get a bus leaving you wondering if a driver will let you on. I’m not sure what was so wrong with the previous system but this new one is a complete joke. ART needs to go back to routine routes and schedules for tourists. Forcing passengers to stand out in the rain or heat without being able to schedule a ride is outrageous.

Update makes the experience worse. This app used to provide good utility. It opened to the Trip Planner screen with my defaults populated. Now it’s an additional tap away. Even worse, the cold start time is noticeably slower as a result of showing the map first. Extra tap and longer wait before I’m able to tap. Objectively worse. The app still works, so 2 stars, but if I had any other option, I’d switch.

Buggy App. Many issues with bookings and pickup and drop off spots as I am writtting this I cannot see the text for they use white font on white background… need I say more?

Been wanting something like this!. Super convenient and easy to use! Before this app, I would have to check emails to get status on our work shuttles...

Meh. I work at Tesla and only use it to see when the shuttle will arrive, but what it needs is a way to contact the drivers directly, in case something is left on the bus, or to see if anything went wrong so I can call my supervisor and tell him why I’ll be late.... if I could get help with this, 5 star.

Simple & easy to use. Not amazing, not horrible. Just does what it needs to do.

Hey Google: stop using TripShot for GBuses. Search results highlight the most convoluted possible routes. Hey y’all, if there are buses that go directly from my bus stop to my destination, I want to know about those. I don’t really care that I also have the option to walk 15 minutes to another stop, then take three separate buses to get to my destination. (I am not exaggerating - this is the top result of my search.) I also don’t want a result for every bus stop on a given line within a mile radius. I picked a stop. That’s the one I want to board at. Also, if a route involves walking to stop, it isn’t clear if the start time is when I start walking, or when I get on the bus. I honestly cannot find this information. In other words, this app spectacularly fails to deliver the most basic functionality. Doesn’t help that two buses never materialized and I ended up standing outside for 45 minutes, but even if that part isn’t TripShot’s fault, I still give the app 1 star. Another reviewer described this app as a constant uphill battle. I couldn’t have said it better. Can we ditch TripShot and use Transit instead?

Room for improvement. 99% of the time there are only two routes I care about. Getting to work and coming back. Yet to see the times of those two routes requires 3 slow taps, even though I’ve already favorited it. It wouldn’t be hard to learn (or for me to set) which route I care about in the morning vs afternoon and make getting to the schedule 1 click. There is a “My Trips” section, but it is blank and there is no guidance on how to record my trip. I wish there was a Watch app so I could see how far away my bus was, but that would require the app to actually know which bus I care about, which it doesn’t. There is a lot of room for the app to improve.

Convenient for shuttle info. I really enjoy tripshot- we use it for our company shuttles, and it’s so helpful to have this information at my fingertips to see where shuttles are- when they will be arriving, various stops, etc. I live within distance of a few of our different routes, so it’s especially handy for switching between timetables if I miss the shuttle I was intending to take. I like the UI and the different route/departure information the best!

Very confusing. I just want the app to show me the next favorite route departing from the stop closest to me. Or to quickly select one of the favorite routes/times. This needs to happen immediately when I launch the app. Instead it seems to require a lot of clicking and navigating every time. It’s quite hard to explain but the app never does what I want and is always quite a hassle to make it show me the route I need.

OK. Lacks features. Can’t favorite routes! My trips don’t show up.

Don’t trust the delay alerts. I keep getting alerts that my bus is delayed, only to later get a “catching up” note that my bus will be on time. It’s a good thing I’ve learned not to listen to the delays and leave my house later - otherwise, I’d be constantly missing my bus.

My new go-to app. I have been looking for an app that solves my navigation problems for awhile with no luck. Tripshot is easy to navigate and provides the info that I need... I still end up late to work but I guess that’s my fault haha

Poorly designed. Should display the company routes, instead asks you to enter where to go (to the office… please just show all company routes). When you try to search for them you come up empty with a vague message - buses might have departed for the day. I get that but why not pre-configure all routes and then show to the user what the times are for those routes, capacity and availability. Like any public transportation works. This shouldn’t behave like a route planner and if that’s the goal of this app my company might have chosen the wrong app for the purpose. Might update once our busses resume and this app displays more than blank pages.

Doesn't open. Love tripshot usually but the newest update doesn't allow me to open the app - please fix!!!!!

Great App!. Makes taking public transportation easy!

Better than Uber or Lyft if you need a quick and inexpensive ride in Santa Clarita. The driver greeted me by my first name, which was surprising and very nice. Great ride home. Couldn’t get faster using Lyft or Uber and 10x cheaper! Totally recommend!!😊😊😊

Accuracy issues. Need better accuracy that pinpoint location and ride availability. It also needs to appear on the app

Delayed trips. We are unable to schedule the ride, and the ride arrival is getting delayed frequently, and the delay time is from 20mins to 40mins, and the drivers are cancelling it without any reason. Especially driver named Akhil, he is not arriving by time and cancelling the rides at last minute without any proper reason. As an international student in Saint Louis, it’s very difficult for us to travel at night times, and after the heavy 8hrs shift of on campus jobs, we are getting tired and the slu rides are getting delayed or cancelled, it’s very frustrating.

Used to be my go to. Used to use this over the app my company provides, but the recent update that moved how you change the date pushed me away. Before, it was a couple tolerable but annoying steps to check schedules on Sunday for Monday. Now it’s a few more steps and not worth it.

Worst UX design of any transit app. Non-intuitive design leaves the stranding passenger not knowing how to properly schedule a bus to pickup their family. Standing here trying to figure it out myself as 5 other families have no idea how to use the app, followed by being yelled at by a driver if one person is successful…. The UX director for this app needs to be fired along with the Product Manager and/or VP that approved the design.

Horribly Confusing. The route list are so confusing and not user friendly! Please be considerate of tourists who are unfamiliar with navigating this app and make things a little more simpler to view.

Too hard to get to the favorite stops screen. Update: taking off another star for the new offensively purple icon. My company has an internal app I can use on my work phone, and I like having this one on my personal phone. Unfortunately, updates have made this app much harder to use. I take the same route every day, and it used to be quick and easy to see the upcoming shuttles at my stop. Now I have to tap around to try to get back to the favorites under the trip planner screen. I don’t even understand the logic of where it’s buried in the UI now.

Bad time estimates. App works fine, the only thing that doesn’t work is the times they say they will be there. They have been on time only once, had us waiting 30 minutes after estimated arrival time for pick up.

Poorly Designed. The shuttles usually end up arriving 10-15 minutes later than when they tell you they are going to arrive, some inputs don’t save and you have to remember to input them every time you use the app, the don’t show you the routes, you just see the buses moving in random directions on the map. Should be free with how poor it is.

Worst. App. Ever. This is without a doubt the most frustrating app I have ever had the misfortune to use. And use it I must. The UX is unintuitive and makes even simple actions difficult to perform and other basic functionality simply does not exist. Choose an alternative if you have the option.

Drivers Great - Dispatch not so Much. The drivers always make the best effort, working long hours to get people to work on time and assure a clean interior. The dispatch on the other hand has on several occasions now shown an inability in basic time and route management. We have had people going to ‘building A’ put into different vehicles, while being put into vehicles that make them late AND are going to ‘building C’ in the opposite direction. While simultaneously taking another rider to ‘building A’ on time, who didn’t need to be at that building, but ‘building B’ which was much closer to ‘building C’! Which also made the rider going to ‘building C’ late, because that car went to ‘building A’ first. Not to mention, they tried to tell that driver to go to ‘building D’ before dropping off their previous rider at ‘building C’.

User friendly shuttle tracking. Intergrates well woth our shuttle program allowing me to track my shuttle and I recieved alets on delays

Terrible app. Can not get it to load even though it repeatedly tells me my corporate account is set up. 45 min and still nothing.

Super useful. Utilize the app for work, super useful and convenient!

Will not load my pass. This app is absolute trash. I have had issues loading my pass literally every day I’ve used the app. I’ve almost not been able to make it home because the app will not load my pass. Requiring Bluetooth AND an internet connection to find the correct bus and load a pass is absurd. I have a monthly pass and should be able to access it any time anywhere regardless of Bluetooth or internet connection.

Fresh new look!. Great new look, and reservations feature to help us stay socially distant from fellow riders is great!

Got wrong information. I use The Grid and the app pointed the use bus on Route B and when I got to the bus the driver pointed out that I should be on a Route A bus. Kinda pointless to have the app if I need to get the correct information from the drivers.

Far from polished. For what little it does, it’s remarkable how confusing the interface is and how little it seems to care about you.

New icon, same crappy experience. Tripshot has one of the most unintuitive user experiences I’ve had to put up with. Every action is an uphill battle and takes several taps to achieve. Now they have a new icon and silly me thought “they finally hired a UX designer”. Lol nope. Even the new icon is crappy if you look closely; it’s super low quality. This app is terribly unprofessional for an enterprise solution.

One of the most badly designed apps ever. it provides incredibly convoluted interfaces which don't ever seem to do what they were designed for.

This update sucks. Why did you remove the ❤️ favorites list from the trip planner?!? It makes so sense: I can add a favorite route from the trip planner screen, but I can’t see the list?

Asks For company name to start. Can't even start the app. It asks me for a company name and doesn't accept Stanford as an instance.

Great when it works. Would be a great app if the schedules actually showed. Not sure if it's the app or if my company doesn't load the times. Some days it works, most days it doesn't. It's pretty nice when it's working though.

Never loads pass, scanning by Qr code doesn’t work. This app is awful. It can never find the bus by Bluetooth, and even when it does it can’t load the pass. The scanning by QR code causes the app to crash, which makes me not be able to make my bus home. This is one of the most annoying and buggy apps I have used.

Sign Up not happening. Since when is @gmail.com not a valid email extension? I keep trying to sign up and it keeps telling me my email is invalid, so. . . screw this app. I’ll sign up with an app that works.

Great App!. This is the best commute app! The map tracking is up to date and accurate. The alerts on normal arrivals and late notices are very handy. Takes a big part of the frustration (dealing with unknown delays and uncertainty) out of it!
