Can't Prep for a Trip Without This!. I am a big "list" person. Since using this app before every trip, we don't forget a thing! I love the custom templates option for all of the things my baby needs.

Overall good but the UI needs refinement. My initial review of this app wasn’t quite fair. There were some capabilities I didn’t think it had but it did - they were just harder to find than I thought. Biggest issues are some inefficiencies in the user interface. One big one - PackPoint always wants to drop you into the screen for creating a packing list, even when that’s not what you want to do and there’s no way out of it until you create a list. Then you have to go back and delete the unwanted list it forced you to create! Other annoyances are 1) entering dates one field at a time instead of using a calendar selector; 2) the weather display looks like a day forecast but isn’t; 3) the weather display also needs to allow you to click thru to a multi day forecast covering your trip; 3) it really needs to let you modify the names of items in an activity as well as change the ordering, like you can in an actual packing list. There are a lot of other UI annoyances. They’re all small, but collectively they make the app more tedious than it needs to be.

Love it❤️. This app has helped me so much I am always prepared with it and I never forget anything I love this app so much there are no ads and no payment it is totally free this is the best app ever if you forget things like I do going on a trip this is the app that you need.

The app I’ve been looking for. With the upgrade to premium, this app is perfect for planning what I need to pack. I can customize different activities. I added a cooking list for trips we stay in a cabin or condo and will be cooking to remember my favorite knife, spatula, and, of course, COFFEE. The only thing I’d add would be more icons (dog, for example) so I can make sure I have everything she needs for the trips she goes along with us.

Really helpful. As someone who is extremely disorganized and waits last second to pack this app is super helpful. Being able to customize and make your own templates makes packing fast and rids the curse of forgetting items. Definitely recommend.

Pack Point Travel Packing List. This is a unique and resourceful application that not only takes some of the guesswork out of planning and packing for a leisure or business trip but allows users to customize the results so you can get as close to possible as being prepared as you can. The design has a harmonious light color tone which is tranquil. It is easy to navigate and follow step by step when trip lists are generated from the user’s input. The app even has integration with services such as Evernote which could come in handy on business trips. For those who travel a fair amount or more Pack Point is well worth a download.

Helps me pack the right items! Great app!. Amazing! I love how the app looks at all the weather data and you can select activities you are going to do and they automatically add the items you need in your packing list! It’s super easy to start and it’s a lifesaver! Definitely try!

Good packing list app, but trip it integration is broken.. Love love love the packing lists and ability to create my own and customize existing ones. As a long time trip it user I loved the intervention but over the last year something is wrong with the trip it integration and the app always suggests past trips or wrong trips for me when being to pack. It’s a big bummer as I’m a trip it pro user.

Works everytime. Helpful for every trip. Nice that I can add things to the list. Would be nice option to hide things that you’ve already checked off so the list you have to scroll is shorter as you go.

Very handy. Makes great suggestions for packing based on destination, current weather, and activities. Especially handy for reminding you of items you might forget!!

Doesn’t meet my travel packing needs. Doesn’t meet my needs. First, the app requires a gender designation, I don’t understand why. Second, it doesn’t ask where you traveling from and how you are traveling. I’m taking a road trip from the US to Mexico. It listed boarding pass but not passport. Third, it assumes you’re going to one place, I’m planning a long, multi location road trip. It’s useless for me.

Best easy packing list. Been using this app for years. It’s straightforward you put your destination how many nights u are staying and your activities and it reminds you of all the things you may need and there is an option to add your own items. Simple but straightforward and completely useful when traveling. Bonus it also shows the weather for where your destination is. This app is my favorite packing list app!

Pack Point. This app is amazing! I have always been known as an over packer, and this app helps me make sure that I don’t over pack. It also lets me know what I should pack. I love that I can put in where I am going, when I am going, and how long I am staying for my VC. This app is awesome! I definitely recommend getting it. This app, I think, can be used by any age group, whether it is younger, teenagers, young adults, mid adults, and even elders can use this. This app has saved me from over packing. Can’t live without it anymore. It’s a very useful app - it looks at the weather of the destination and your selected activities to suggest items. It helps me keep track of the “daily” stuff like a charger! and keys which are items that are easily missed. It’s a easily customizable check list. I Love it!

Perfect. I have been using this app for years when getting ready for trips, I always pack last minute and rarely forget things because of this app.

Used to Love It. I used to love this app and used it all the time, but lately I found it doesn’t work as well. The alignments for the iPhone X are off so when I try to change the amount of an item I want to bring, it takes multiple tries because it won’t work or it’ll change the amount for a different item.

A great resource for travel. Pack Point not only ensures you don’t forget anything crucial, it can prevent over-packing. It’s worth the annual fee to be able to fully customize it for activities such as bird-watching, ballroom dance events, Civil War re-enacting or what-have-you. It can take a little time to create your specialized lists, but you never have to do it again. It’s easy to hide things you don’t need — like bug spray in winter — or to add particular items for a certain trip. A truly great app!

Super helpful- does the work for you. this app looked up the weather of the place I’ll be staying and added items accordingly. It’s really easy to adjust the items on the list if there’s one or two things you won’t need. It also sorts them based on various activities you’ll be doing, so you stay super organized. Just what I needed!

Falls short. I love this idea, but there are issues. First, tapping the item removes it! No way to get it back! Please make it possible to undo actions or to “unhide” items. Next, please make it possible to use categories in an existing list in a new list. Finally. Let users create additional categories. If this app has those things, it would be competitive with other list apps.

Seems like a great app... So initially I was super impressed by this app. Suggesting things to pack, splitting up the categories, etc. However, since I did not purchase the premium version, it seemed like I “couldn’t finish packing”. There was no spot to say “I’m finished” packing, take me to my list. Every time I clicked on one of the suggestions, that particular choice would disappear but again, there was no option to see my final packing list.

Good Start. Update: Big miss on shorts. Planning a beach trip, the app found that the high will be in the 80s... and decided shorts won’t be needed despite being on the essentials list. I wish I could see and adjust the thresholds for certain items like sweaters and shorts, but for now I have to add them manually. Original:Just getting started with it, but it has the basics. Things that could be improved: -More icons: Missing some really basic things like a driving icon for car trips, and some more sports. Would help if you could upload your own. -Family sync: Would be nice to have a family list or account so that families can share packing some of the basics and sync up. -Web interface: Would be much easier to edit and create new activities from a laptop. I like the pre populated lists and will have to play around with the settings to figure out how best to do things like plan for ski trips and have it calculate the right number of pairs of ski socks and long underwear. So far it’s interesting and I will update as I get better with it.

Simple yet deep. I have been using PackPoint for about 3 years for our quick trips to wherever. Even with 3 kids this program thinks of everything without over burdening you with too many atypical options. Really well designed for its purpose.

Has potential but missing important features. It's a nice idea to include the weather component, but that also makes the inability to set a multi-destination trip all the more frustrating. Also frustrating is the inability to order or group items in the Essential and Activity lists. As it is, things like keys and documents are all mixed in with the clothing on the list in a haphazard way.

Great app. I like that this app gives you choices for your activities. I dislike that you have to pay if you want to add any activity. I feel one specific activity should be free and then any extra activities you have to pay for. Other than that,it is a great app. You can always add items to your categories which is helpful.

Ease of mind. I set up my app a few days before my trip listing things that come to mind. After the list is made it takes about an hour to gather the list and I always feel confident I haven’t forgotten anything.

Packing List. Was a quick process for a general packing list you can adjust to your individual needs. As long as you carry your phone, it’s always with you. Thanks!

Would love to give it 5 stars but. There is no way to add custom items in the pro version and have the amount of those items change based on length of trip. For example I added a custom item to the Essentials List for an item that I need to use and dispose of every day of my trip. I’d like to have it automatically tell me I need 7 of those for a 7 day trip but I can’t do that because it wasn’t built in with the app.

Helpful App Ever Created. I Always have trouble packing clothes! Whether underpacking or overpacking. This app is great at telling you what exactly you need and how many. You can even customize the list to your specific needs as well. Whoever created this app was a genius and I thank you!

Makes sure I don’t forget essentials.. I have been using this for business trips, weekend getaways and vacations for a couple of years now, and have found that it helps me decide the right size luggage for the journey, but also helps me from overpacking when I want to travel light. Best of all, it considers the weather at your destination so that I pack the right clothes for the season.

This app saves me from myself. As someone who packs for 14 days for a weekend trip, I needed this like you wouldn’t believe. It’s a lot better than me trying to put notes in my phone for sure. On the way to the airport with one whole different bag than what I started with!

Love to travel. I’ve been using this app for the last year or two and quite pleased with it’s ease-of-use. I’ve never forgotten a thing that I needed and I love the fact that you can add things that may not be listed. I just purchased the premium version and have only one minor concern. I just used the app and after I have set it all up and added new things, I realized that the dates were incorrect. I could not find anywhere to change the dates other than re-doing it...which I was not about to do. This seems like an easy change and I hope you can accommodate me on this with a fix. Other than that I love this app and highly recommend it. Thanks for a super app!

Need more customization. Upgraded to the paid version, but still would like additional customization options. Would love to be able to hide categories I’m never going to use (motorcycling, hiking, business formal, etc.) and have the ability to adjust the order of items in a list and the order of the categories within the list.

Big fan. D this is hands down the most useful and user friendly packing app of all time. I tried others and just was so disappointed and lost when it came to being ready to go. I am loaded with confidence when I have everything that I need when I get where I am going!

Connecting to Tripit is a no go. I can’t find a way to contact customer support through the app, so unfortunately, I’m having to write it in a review with hopes that somebody who can help me reads it. I’ve got premium of this app, and I’ve tried to connect it to Tripit. Because I use a Google sign in for Tripit there is no way to connect the two apps as it only has login and password as options, not the Google logo. I have to go through full site, but the apps won’t connect if I go that way. I only got Tripit, because of this app, and I really don’t want to enter all my trip information again

Great, flexible tool to making traveling easier. I’ve used this app for close to 5 years now and it always saves me time. The reusable (and customizable) templates are really helpful in building packing lists and the syncing with local weather predictions has helped me pack smarter when going to an unfamiliar area. Would recommend to anyone.

Never fails me. Like most folks, I haven’t traveled much the last two years. However, when preparing for a trip in late 2021, I immediately remembered the app I always used pre-pandemic to make sure I didn’t forget a thing. This app is it. Works like a charm.

Love this app!!!. I use this every time we go somewhere for a lengthy stay. I decided to upgrade because i can customize activities. Best app ever. I can add things when needed and if there are things I don’t need I can hide them for that particular trip.

An Essential App for Travelers. Suitcase in hand, you head out the door. Have you ever had that feeling that you’re forgetting something? You won’t with PackPoint. Typically I start packing and then create a new trip in the app to start checking things off. Inevitably PackPoint includes something I would have forgotten otherwise. It’s made my list of top ten travel apps every year on my website, Compass & Key. Highly recommended!

My go to packing list. I always pull this up when I'm traveling. I like that it asks you for where you will be and gives you the expected weather. It also gives you a chance to list your activities and whether you can do laundry. I have it A4 because it would be good to 1). Give a suggested number of items (example 3 shirts, 2 shorts). and 2). It repeats items and lists them more than once. Would be great to have a way to take away duplicates.

New Years Resolution Checked Off. I am very bad at packing. Notoriously bad at packing. 2019 has been the year of finding apps that help me with things I’m bad at. PackPoint is now at the top of my list of most helpful apps. If you, like me, suffer from packing 4 pairs of jeans for a two day trip and pack 1 pair of underwear, download this app.

Meh - super disappointing. Love TripIt so I had high hopes that this app would be great when syncing. So many things wrong with this - it doesn’t sync between devices (iPad and iPhone) even after paying for premium, you cannot change anything about your trip once created, multiple locations don’t seem to be supported, most of the required setup has to be done by you. Totally want a refund for this waste of money app.

Superb. Love this app. I can use the list already generated and add more items as I customize the list. It also tracks each trip by date and location so if I have a reoccurring trip I don’t need a new list. Custom activities can be added, too.

Not Road Trip Friendly. I wanted this for an 8 day road trip especially for the weather portion. I synced with tripit and the weather and destination are all tied to one stop. I upgraded so I wouldn't have to make it 8 different trips, but it would have just been easier to go to the weather app and write down weather for each stop. The packing list would be helpful to people. I have one saved on a word doc that has worked for me for years so that didn't really make it worth it.

The idea is awesome, but the execution needs some work.. First of all, the app looks beautiful and it’s very intuitive. The one issue I have is that’s it’s a bit buggy. For example, when typing text and working your way down a list, the list itself doesn’t automatically move up. Eventually, the keyboard blocks what you’re typing and there’s no way to hide the keyboard or manually scroll up or down. I bought the customization feature, but was really bummed out to discover this bug after the fact. Please look into this. I would love to continue using this app.

The Best App for Travel. I travel a lot & find this app very useful . Since I started using this app I no longer forget things . I should have used this app years ago , it would have prevented expensive purchases at the hotel gift shop for things that I've forgotten at home .

Really a timesaver. PackPoint is a great app. It helps me make sure I have everything I need it’s almost like a shopping list for packing. You can edit it easily add things and it really just make sure you have everything you want for your trip. Neat but flawed. I love the look of it. Great to be able to choose your type of holiday and it fills in packing list with appropriate items. However once you tap an item it disappears, never to be seen again. Ok not too much of a problem it you have packed it, not so good if you accidentally tapped it whilst swiping down your list. You have no idea which item it was! I could not find anywhere a list that shows packed items nor an edit button to go back if you tap something by mistake. Most of us like to double check our list as well, but it appears this can not be done. I am happy to be proven wrong but I can't find anything

List for lazy people?. Just downloaded and paid; looks ok, but the quantities are ridiculous for longer trips. I’m going away for 66 days and it’s suggesting 66 pairs of underwear and 33 shirts. Have you guys ever heard of washing machines, or even hotel basins? You need to have an option for people to choose “travel with laundry “ or similar, otherwise people need to click the “-“ sign to reduce quantities about 60 times…

Too basic, too American. Only lists US cities/towns outside of the big international cities. Can’t actually add other activities, and it pesters asking if you think it’s a 5 star rating….err NO!

Nah!. I'm all for keeping travel stuff to a minimum, so tried it, but just couldn't see the point. I went through the process, selected the items I would need, but there was no apparent way to save my list. I tried emailing it to myself but it came up with the full list including items I didn't select (no I don't use shaving cream or contraceptives, and I don't need to pack my camera twice, etc). Great concept, but not ready for the public.

Doesn't work. I have entered my details about my holiday and then unfortunately it glitched and said I had a problem with my internet. I have tried it on two different devices with different wifi's and 4g. HELP!!

Not for me. I really wanted to like it, but three months on still no iPhone 6/6+ support; can't set trip end date (sometimes too hard to work out number of nights!); no obvious way to change temperature to Celsius; and kept crashing. I used it three months ago, so it probably didn't crash back then, hence 3-stars. I'm probably going to delete this one.

Simple and effective. It does what it is advertised for. The user interface is very straightforward. The app is easy to use.

Makes packing super easy. Honestly, I never go away without creating a list through this app. Great for trips big and small, most of the thinking is done for you, and easy to customise.

Just data mining. This app is useless it will not allow you to change the date of a trip. I think it’s just a way to get your future trips information to pass on to other interested parties

Serious potential but unfortunately lacking. I upgraded to premium after liking the look and feel of the free app but hoping for some extra features. Wasn't worth the money. The features are good but there is so much room for basic improvements. I thought I'd share some ideas with the developers and found they have a really great feedback site where sure enough several users have left similar thoughts to mine. While the developers have said things like "great idea" to the suggestions they haven't bothered to integrate them into the app. PLEASE DO SO!!! Not being able to re-sort lists or edit items is incredibly frustrating (especially when I thought that would be one of the things I was paying for). So much so that I'm back using a paper based list. What a shame. Get on with making this app live up to its definite potential please!!

Keeps Freezing. Every time I open my saved trip the app just freezes. Only way I can resolve it is by forcing the app closed. I only have the ONE trip going at the moment so not being able to get back into it is a bit of a deal breaker. Love the concept but it just doesn’t want to work on my iPhone 6 😟

Ms. Great app!

Not useful. The activities are too limited for this to be useful for most leisure vacations. No sightseeing, museums etc. Didnt even suggest a raincoat or umbrella for Ireland in spring

Infuriating. Used to work. One of the few apps I have paid money for. Now, the TripIt doesn’t sync and every time I leave the app and come back it erases my packing list- so I have to start over creating it and checking off what I’ve packed. Luckily I exported the list I was using the last time so I have it by email but the app is so buggy as to be absolutely worse than worthless— it would be better if I have no packing list than one that gets deleted arbitrarily after you’re relying on it! Also now even though I paid for the premium version it’s not recognizing that anymore and there is not contact for support. Totally on my own. Better off with a paper and pencil.

Sweet app to simplify packing. So helpful!

Great and easy to use. I am trying the basic version and great so far. I like the destination weather in the top browser. You could also add a drop-down to get the weekly forecast. The additional activities were a bit hard to find at first.

Really awesome app!. I love this app and use it every time I travel. The free version is great, but it is really worth it to upgrade!

My go-to app for packing. A fairly customizable app but it’s only for individual packing. It would be nice if you could add family members and the option to share items. I also wish that the items I’ve packed already would disappear and the remaining items move up so the list appeared shorter and it was to quicker to see what you still needed to pack. Also items such as sunglasses repeat in several categories.

Bummer. Just downloaded app and didn't get past first screen. Unfortunately no landscape view and therefore of no use to me. Could be a great app, but my head doesn't tilt 90 degrees so I will never know. Perhaps in the future.

Disappointed. I was excited to try this app, and even paid. however I was very disappointed. Here are the things I found lacking. Also note, it very well could be my lack of understanding. If I am correct, then it’s more for the developer to take note and improve the app. My first problem was categories. It defaulted to order of categories. I tried moving main categories for example swimming at the bottom and work clothes at the top. Otherwise you need to rename the groups. Next within the groups you cannot move items around. You add an item it goes to the top of the list. So let’s say I add dress socks then add dress shirt, oh I want to add hiking socks but I want them next to dress socks. I can not rearrange the list. Out of frustration I made a table in notes and typed a list up myself. I think the app has lots of potential and if I am at fault I apologize. Cheers. Happy travels

Yup, it’s super thorough. Tying the packing suggestions in with the actual weather forecast is genius. I’m a great packer so it was kinda a test to see how thorough this app is - and it is! Love it.

Paid version has awkward bug and is missing key features. Hopefully these things can be fixed in updates: 1. BUG: iPhone screen keyboard covers the “add new item” line as well as the “add” button making it incredibly awkward to add new items. 2. Doesn’t sync between devices. 3. You can’t share packing lists with other pro users for so that you can collaborate. I was told you can do #3 using Evernote or by email, but I dislike that app, and if me and my husband both pay for PackPoint Pro, I don’t see what you couldn’t share a trip within the app itself rather than having to use an outside program. It shouldn’t be a hard feature to add. I am hoping for it to be added later. At this point, there is no reason for him for us both to buy it since there is no advantage to doing so. I would think that this alone might be incentive enough for the developers to consider adding it as a feature.

PackPoint is the absolute best checklist for your trip. I have used this app for travel for business and leisure for the past 4 years. Customizable for Business, Leisure and both International and domestic

Takes the guess work out of packing. Helps me not to forget anything I might need. Lists are very comprehensive.

Does not share across devices. I have this on my iPad and iPhone. Great idea but it does not sync lists between the devices. I also purchased the premium when using it on my iPad but the phone is only the basic. It does not recognize that I’ve already upgraded.

5 stars!. This app is amazing! It really helps me stay organized. It tells you the weather of your destination. You can enter any activity and it will add all the things you kneed for that activity to your list. You can remove and add items. It’s truly worth it.

PackPoint. Great app for short or long trips. I have been using it for a few years now. It help keeps me organized and never forget anything again.

Detailed Lists. Love using this app to pack! It uses the weather and you’re activities to create the lists. Reminded me of items I would have forgotten like hats and other specifics.

Exactly what I needed. I create activities for each of the types of trips I take. I keep many of my toiletries and electronics permanently packed, but it gives me reassurance to compare my ready-to-go carryon with my lists.

Brilliant App for traveling 👍👍. Just downloaded this app & just love it! I’ll be traveling to Turkey 🇹🇷 in September & it told me what the average temperature will be like & everything I need to take for the activities I’ll be doing there! Can’t wait to start using it.

Pretty nice app. I’ve used this app for several years now. Overall, I like it better than most other packing list apps. There’s a few changes that would make the app ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. 1) the ability to put items in a list in the order we want them rather than the order they were entered 2) edit an item if we misspell it rather than having to delete it and re-enter it 3) unhide an item if we decide we want it or accidentally hid it

Needs work. I’ve tried a lot of packing apps and this is the best of the worst. It is very difficult to calculate the end day of trips by days rather than day of the week. There is a lot of duplication if you are doing business casual and business formal on the same trip Almost easier to just use a note in my phone.

Believe it; it is telling the truth. I ignored this app telling me that I needed a warm coat to go to Texas last year. I packed a jacket instead. It was 20 degrees in Austin the week I was there. This app simplifies planning so much. Pay for the upgrade for custom lists; it’s well worth it.

Solid pack list for work/leisure. A nice basic list that are editable. Takes a bit to figure out how to edit each list but not too tricky.

Great Packing Tips. I have used this app‘s checklist of travel items, which is helpful as a reminder of what to pack and the number/types of clothing to bring based on location and normal weather.

Simple and effective. I use it for every trip. It’s simple but it works. The app updated itself with packing reminders for Covid tests/ vaccine records for international travel.

Best packing app. I’ve never forgotten anything since I started using this app. I’ve used it on every trip from MTB Colorado, Firefighter conference in the beach, camping with our RV, the list goes on and on. I definite recommend this app.

A must have for busy people. I’m so busy that one time I packed everything under the sun - except my wallet. After that I downloaded this app bc I never wanted to go through that again. Love it!

Wishing for more feature. Most acceptable one I can find in the App Store for now but lacking some basic features. I wish I can sort or alphabetize the list, edit the master, to begin with. And why can I type in wherever I am going? For example, no San Jose, CA? Only San Francisco.

Takes the thinking out is it.. Super simple app that saves a lot of the guessing time out of if.

Good list but easy to delete. It is too easy to accidentally delete items on the list. All you have to do is touch them and it’s gone. So if you don’t know what you touched then you have to go through the list and try to think of it again.

Great thru all kinds of scenarios. Wedding in Sarajevo? Check. Motorcycle riding thru West Virginia? Check. This packing app that calculates based on weather and activities is simple, accurate and thorough. Oddly leaves off shoes (!) though.

A great idea for an app. I always forget something i need for a trip, and don’t know what clothes to bring. This app solves the problem. I like it so much i bought the full version

Does Nothing With TripIt. I bought the premium version to sync my trip from TripIt so I did not have to re-enter all of my activities that were already in TripIt and could plan according to each day and activity. All it does is sync the dates of your trip which you can enter yourself on the free version. The premium version is a waste of time and money.

Great Reminders, Quite Handy. Have used internationally for help with quantity. Excellent for that, and great reminders, too. For domestic, found the quantity and reminder functions useful. Would like several more categories added to the free portion of app.

Thoughtful and excellent. This app saves me a ton of mental load when packing for trips. The premade lists are well crafted and useful. UI feels a bit outdated, but I can’t complain about a free app that gets it’s job done wonderfully well.

Great app. PackPoint makes sure that I never forget anything. This app is easy to use as well. It tells you exactly what to bring on your vacation. I will never forget to bring anything else on vacation.

Super helpful. This app helped me plan ahead the things I need even 6 weeks before I travel. It gives useful suggestions for stuff I take for granted but would suffer without them, like beach sandals or sunscreen lotion.

Don't pack without it. I use this app even on short trips so I don't forget something important. It reminds me to pack what I Need not the extras I usually do and then never use.

Fail safe!. Awesome app, saved me time and headache. There's definite room for improvement, but it added about 5 things to my list I overlooked and I consider myself very organized. Highly recommend

Easy to use!. I had a great time using this app. Instead of going in and hand-picking the items on your list, it creates one for you! It was not as time consuming as other apps, and it was very easy to use.

Nickel and dime you to death. Talk about nickel and dime Ap. It’s a decent Ap if you need something to tell you about your upcoming trip. But if you need to add anything you need to upgrade to premium. Other than having a fancy packing list I see no reason for this Ap? I tried to add extension cord to the list and I had to upgrade to premium. Really? Not sure what value this is other than putting their hand in your pocket. Thanks but no thanks.
