Boring and expensive. Game is pretty fun to start out, but then gets horrendously boring because it goes from only a couple thousand coins to buy something, like a plane, to all of a sudden it’s 10,000+ which literally takes days to save up for. I finally decided to stop playing today when I had finally updated by runway to allow Hawks planes (10,000 coins, roughly 5 days of saving), then bought a Hawk (12,000 coins), then I went to send the Hawk on a flight and I couldn’t because I needed a flight school. You would think that I would have stopped here and I feel like an idiot for not, but I am playing this during quarantine, COVID-19, so I have a lot of extra time on my hands. I saved up the 8,000 coins for a flight school, go to buy it, and then the game tells me I need to expand my land when I have plenty of space down by the helicopter pad. It’s another 10,000 coins to expand the land... I am done. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME.

Cool game, addictive, but $$$ if you want to make progress. I like the play of this game a lot, it’s a good distraction checking in periodically to run the airport & city. The major downside is the cost. It’s free to play but incredibly expensive if you want to actually build your airport. One of the best features are the Adventures where you have several days to meet some objectives for a reward. Once you’ve played a few you realize that there’s always 1 item from every collection that’s impossible to get ... unless you pay $30 to buy that adventures special building which drops the items constantly. I’ve done several adventures without paying on purpose and proven that it’s impossible to complete them unless you buy the building. For normal game play the dollar to airport currency is absurd. You pay like $10 for airport cash get like 34 and with that you can’t buy anything of consequence.

Awful!! Just awful!!!. Developers of this game are tricksters in disguise. All they want is your real time money. This game has been out for a few years now and only have 34k downloads and the reason for it, is because of those in game purchases. They are ridiculous!!! I started playing this game and all was well, until around level 11-12ish. The game gets really hard and the money earned is so unbalanced compare to what items in the game actually cost. Also another thing I truly dislike is the fact that, if I already paid up to upgrade a building....why do I have to completely a second task(find items to complete the building) in order for me to use the building?? Makes no darn sense!! I mean I would understand if it was a couple items but some of the building have up to 16 items to find to completely the darn thing and those items are nearly impossible to get. I must have made over a dozen trip to Lake Baikal to find a darn fishing lure. Please get rid of that darn stupid second task after upgrading a building or limit it to only a few items. So the game get one star for now until some changes are made.

Don’t waste your time!!!. Run, Run for your life!!! They must have a 4.6 rating based on reviews from years ago. It is RIDICULOUS! They hook you in with a simple design and by level 20 you are trying to save for your next plot of land just to build a mission objective. Let me save you the time AND MONEY, I’ve written to the developers asking them to chill out on the greed and maintain a fun game, but they just say, “I will forward this to our team...”. Ha Ha and HA! They are laughing all the way to the bank! They make more than pot growers!!! Perspective...you land a plane in the game, you make $100 (fake money). Now you need to upgrade your landing strip because you’ve landed too many planes trying to save money...now you have to turn away paying flights that want to land, because you can’t afford to upgrade your airport! 30,000 and 80,000 for an upgrade! Ha Ha...again, it’s like trying to buy a home in real life on a lawn mower’s budget! LAME!!!! To just put the nail in the coffin, they have “hop up” additions you can buy to help flights drop needed items to continue other flights. Wait...they are 100% a LIE! I tried them, even spent real money in the game to buy more, but they DON’T WORK!!! I wrote to the developers again....but they just ignore me. This is a money pit for you to get hooked, spend tons of cash and break your gaming device! I’m So Frustrated with this game!

WHY?!?!?!?. Why do all of these low life developers prey on everyone for easy money. Game could be great but everything is godly expensive. Not only is it expensive, the payout from just playing the game is a mind numbing joke. Literally everything cost 5000 coins minimum and the prices skyrockets from there to over 50,000 coins. Doesn’t seem so bad UNTIL...you realize you’re getting 10-20 coins a minute from landing guest planes and collecting from your shops. So you have to become completely so involved of doing the exact same psychotic thing over and over again for 4-5 hours to get enough coins to buy one thing or upgrade something to somewhat earn you an extra 2 coins a minute....BUT WAIT...THERE’S MORE...when you finally became an idiotic pawn to their game and saved up enough coins, you’re then hit with a grocery list of things you need to collect to complete the upgrade and you obtain these from either using real money for premium currency to buy it, wait until you win the lottery from guest planes or become even more of a slave and pay them by watching ads for them. THIS GAME IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!!! The devs should be ashamed of themselves, a company literally more greedy than EA.

Good game but earning the coins needed for upgrades and such is a pain.. It’s a good game but it’s hard to earn the coins needed for the buildings, runways, etc. It doesn’t exactly make it worth my time anymore. It took me such a long time just to upgrade one runway. With most games its fairly easy to earn coins and unfortunately, this game is not one of them. It really is a unique game. Being able to build a city and an airport is really neat. I really enjoyed it in the beginning but now I’m looking to uninstall the app because of the coin issue. The only reason it’s being rated a 3 out of 5 is due to the coin issue. If that were to be fixed, it would be a great game and I would change my rating to a 5. If it were to fixed, maybe more people would install the app or even play the game more often.

Very fun game to play in your free time,but I have one problem. I can’t stop playing this game and it is so much fun to watch your airport go from small to very big and your city grows too. But it grows slowly. Let me explain; every flight you take gives you way less coins than you should actually make. One flight to San Fransisco which literally takes 2 hours only gives you 85 coins 🤦‍♂️ and things are very pricey and a lot of your quests require you to buy a lot of things, so don’t think you will be growing your airport fast. The only way to grow your airport easily and fast is to buy it with currency. So it is a fun game, but if you don’t want to spend money on the game, you will probably fall behind on quests.

Why does it take so long to get items you NEED!. This game is pretty much like the rest, they just want you to play for a long time. This game gets boring when it says a certain plays has the items you need and you fly there millions of times and still don’t get the items. You get 1 buck for leveling up and things cost like 10 bucks which will take you forever to get with out power ups(which cost mad bucks). Why don’t you actually make it possible for people to achieve things instead of throwing a whole bunch of BS in there and calling it a game. You don’t even receive most of the things you need. I’m glad you can watch an ad to get these things but that’s also rare to see. Who wants to really play a game that has building spitting out 58 coins but every 2 days? WHAT that’s ridiculous. This game pay to win like the rest. Surprised since there’s so many ads you would think they would have enough money by now.

Requires increasing amounts of cash to continue.. Started out enjoyable. Then as one gets deeper into the game further advances require an increasing amount of money. Highly frustrating when advancing gets BLOCKED by requirements to upgrade requiring more coins ($$) which then requires additional items to complete requiring more $$. Gave in and purchased a jet. After one flight required maintenance. Needed to upgrade maintenance building to repair. Decided to exchange jet for prop presently held in reserve hanger but game refused to let me swap because jet is broke. Tried to add another hanger to get prop back in service but this required upgrading control tower ($$) and the need for additional items ($$$) to complete. Still searching for flight game (I’m a pilot) where we the customer are able to enjoy playing and occasionally spend a few dollars [like train and ship game I am playing].

The economy of the game ruins it.. When I was a kid, I used to play a game by Koei called Aerobiz. It was the kind of game that most people ignored, but I loved it so much that I have been looking for a similar airport simulator ever since. This game came the closest to a reasonable facsimile at first, and then it went downhill. And it’s because of the in game economy. You have to be willing to make frequent micro transactions with real cash to get anywhere after day two of playing. Seriously. If you don’t, then prepare for the game to be nothing but a chore. And even if you do, like I did at first, the game will soon nickel and dime you anyway. Even if you add a long list of perfect strangers as neighbors to help you out by visiting your airport, the financial gain you get from their frequent visits is marginal at best. I read somewhere that the developer has responded to this with something along the vein of “the game can still be played”. Literally yes, but also it will take you literally days to build up anything. And this is where this game fails: it gets greedy. And, like working at an airport (like I did years ago) it becomes a soul draining, full time job with no financial advancement. Avoid at all co$t.

Fun game but recent changes to events aren’t great. This game is fun if you are willing to commit to long term play. However, recent changes to events have made it not so great to play and I find myself less and less interested. Events start the day a new update is available, but they aren’t able to roll out to all platforms simultaneously meaning you often lose a day (or more!) waiting for it to be approved on your platform. Not only does it make it harder to finish the events, but you also fall behind on the leaderboard. Not sure why they can’t have the event start a few days after the update is live to allow time for it to be downloaded. They have also introduced premium tier on the events where you have to pay $4.99 to get the good prizes and also you can pay to skip levels to help you finish (which unfortunately is usually necessary given the late start issues noted above). Events have become weekly which means it isn’t even a once and a while charge, to get good prizes you’d need to pay each time. The prizes you get for the basic tier are pretty bland and don’t usually make it worth my time to grind through the event for a +3 population building that gives me 20 coins every 18 hours 🙄. Every update also seems to break something from the weather station to the videos to help skip time.

Playing for Years! ❤️. Got bored with another building game and this one was one of the video offers in that game I downloaded on a whim. Back then it was a simple game... but the developers have been working diligently on it and it keeps getting better and better. You have to enjoy a long duration challenge, and puzzles, and sometimes it’s kinda like “where’s Waldo” when your searching neighboring towns for items you’re looking for. (All part of the fun) Before you ask, yes- I pay 💰 into this game but only WHEN I want something, otherwise you have to churn out the coins the long way- but not paying has never prevented me from playing and increasing my town or Airport. Friday bonuses are awesome and add up over the weeks so you can still get what you want. Be ready for the long haul, because I think I’ve been playing this daily for almost 3 years now. It’s fun and a way to pass the time. Once you grow your city and airport big enough there is ALWAYS something to do in the game.

Utterly Frustrated and Let Down. I am absolutely appalled by the abysmal state of Airport City. After investing over two years of my time meticulously crafting and expanding my airport and aircraft collection, the game decided to crash and burn – quite literally. One day, without warning, the game simply stopped working, erasing all my progress and reducing my hard work to nothing. But the icing on the cake was the mind-bogglingly nonsensical spaceship part collection system. Out of the supposedly crucial 8 spaceship parts required for a successful launch, a mere 2 actually contributed to the launch's success. It's as if the game developers were playing a cosmic joke on us dedicated players who put in countless hours for this. And don't even get me started on the so-called "key" aspects of the game – passengers and oil. What a shallow and lackluster foundation for a supposedly intricate airport simulation. The gameplay boiled down to a monotonous cycle of juggling passengers and oil supply, without any real depth or challenge. Airport City's utter disregard for the time and effort I invested, coupled with its baffling design decisions, has left me feeling completely disillusioned. It's clear that the developers have lost touch with what makes a game engaging and rewarding. My advice to anyone considering this game: save yourself the frustration and disappointment – steer clear of Airport City.

Becomes more unplayable as you progress. I’ve been playing this game for 5 years (but 3 for my current account). At first, it was fun to launch flights every day, upgrade to larger planes over time, and watch my city grow through weeks of gameplay. There are the hassles you need to watch out for in a F2P game like this of course, but for the most part, you can just invest a little extra more hours. But by level 60, the game really starts to feel like it forces you into a corner with massive price jumps in upgrades and buildings, for example I’m at level 69 and I still cannot afford the Falcon or Thunderbird (remember, I used to play this game every day for hours). Land plots/expansions also feel really difficult to save up for unless if you spend a ton on this game. Also, the events don’t offer much variation or reward to them at all, but this point is mainly for long-time players. I want to remain devoted to this game, but it feels too lengthy and I can’t experience the same satisfaction as I could from it years back. I get the company wants to make a profit, but gosh please give the people who spend little to no money a bit more room to breathe, or in other words, more freedom and choice in this game. I’m starting to consider if I want to delete this game in the near future.

Fun! … for a while.. If you like city builders this one is unique. It’s addicting watching the planes come in. I enjoyed this game, but only for awhile. My biggest complaint is that everything to build your city and airport is so expensive. When allowing a guest plane to land you get 5 coins. To build the fourth track costs 7,000. That takes forever and by the time you get there you’re bored with the game. To Developers: why make everything sooooo expensive. Is it just a ploy to get people to spend money? Is that why you built the game? Only to make money. I don’t have much so that doesn’t work for me. I’ve tried to play this game three separate times and I always delete it in the end. Fix the expensive upgrades and maybe I’ll come back.

It has its moments. It’s good and bad. It looks beautiful and has some really creative and interesting features that make it better than the average building game. There’s enough “happening” on a moment to moment basis to keep you engaged. However, where it breaks down is that many of the mechanisms of the game become extremely tedious. Upgrading buildings requires you to acquire items that only appear very, very rarely from “searching” neighbors’ buildings or traveling to a location, so you have to literally do those things dozens of times to get the items you need. Honestly, this seems like a game that’s probably a lot more fun if you pay for it. Without the pay-to-play, you’re sending planes on the 30th trip to the same location in the hopes that you’ll get an item drop you desperately need.

Game is usually fun, but now it has bad tech issues. UPDATE as of 10/19: All of the issues I had got fixed with the most recent update. However, I haven’t been able to play the game since last week. It begins loading and it gets stuck at part 1. I’ll go back a few hours later, and it does the same thing again. I paid money to play this game and now I feel taken advantage of. It’s time to find a new game because this game is ALWAYS having problems. —— I’ve been playing this game since the beginning of the year and I enjoyed it to the point I was purchasing add-on’s with my real money. However, ever since the game did a major update last week, the game is wonky and the customer service is terrible. I put a plane in the repair base and the plane has disappeared. The repair base will say it’s there, but I can’t see it nor take it out of the repair base and onto a stand. I’ve sent many messages to tech support with screenshots and I haven’t received a response or a remedy for the issue. For a game where I’ve paid money to thoroughly play, I expected better. At this point, I’m ready to give up the game and move on to a new one with less tech issues.

A good, but very hard game.. This is one of the more unique city building games available. You not only build a city, but you also build and run an airport. At first things move along quickly. It is not too hard to get the basic things up and running. By around Level 10 though you have so many more things becoming available to you and you will not have even close to the amount of coins needed in order to put them in place. The important upgrades also require a list of items in order to be completed. The odds of getting those items from flights are very low. I find it a lot easier to use the gift system to get them. Also watching ads will let you fill in those last missing items. The coin earnings feel very unbalanced. You don’t earn nearly as much per flight as you feel you should. For example: a 3 hour flight will earn me 103 coins. I can get 120 coins in 5 minutes by watching my city buildings. I don’t feel like I’m earning any coins at all from the helicopter flights! I spend coins on parts and fuel for every flight. You add all those together and the expenses come out to about as many coins as the flight earns. I strongly suggest increasing the earnings per flight to make them more worthwhile. Other than the unbalanced earnings, this has been a good game.

Doesn't complete purchases. We did everything normal on this game and it randomly starts saying that our account has violated the terms of use. It then does not let us receive gifts and doesn't let us access other features. Also, we purchased some things in this game and entered our password. But, it doesn't give us a reward. Once, we made an in app purchase, and the game promised us a 'mystery building', but nothing happened after the purchase was made. A more recent problem is as follows. I purchased 6 airport cash for $1.99, and entered my password. The bubble where I entered my password disappeared after I pressed 'OK', but my airport cash total was still at 3, like before. After waiting a little, I tried to make the purchase again since it didn't work, but it would not let me press the button that let me enter my password. I do not know if we were charged or not, but I don't think you should have a game where it doesn't complete the purchase

Fun but too expensive. The game is fun.. however, it is too expensive. In game money is collected way to slow for too little money considering what they want you to pay to get better buildings or upgrades. At level 13 the flights I can send out take an average of 45-60 minutes and get you 85 coins, I have 3 planes I can send out, so I can get 250 coins every hour, it takes 15,000 coins to upgrade a building. There is also a problem with “electricity” buildings take electricity to build and upgrade and unless you spend real money to get high output power stations, if you don’t you must build a LOT of 100 coin power stations that only put out 6 power. So you have very little room to put buildings and a lot of it is taken up with the numerous power stations you hate to put down. To expand for more room, 1,000 for the first, 3000 for next, 6000 for third. This is back to the first problem of not being able to get enough money. Would love to keep playing this but do not want to get on every hour to collect 250 coins until I get the double digit thousands to get 1 thing, then start at zero again.

I dont usually do reviews but…. Hi Devs! This game has outlived any other app on my phone throughout the years. Not only because I have invested a lot of money into it, but because it feels realistic (gameplay-wise), or if anything it actually makes you feel like “a boss” if you will. I just have one small sidenote. I think the ONE thing that is missing, is an ability to chat, maybe not “world chat” but at least an alliance chat, where we could just “hang out”, talk, maybe plan future Space Launches, idk, but it feels like it would make it 100x if not a 1000x better 😉. Thanks for the hard work, and the skins for building youve been implementing, please do more :)

Expensive Game to play!. I have been playing this game since 2013 and to date have spent over $1000 of REAL CASH! They always told me it was my choice, but when everything costs so much to get, I finally said I can’t afford to spend anymore of my own money. If they would only make the item’s more reasonably priced and the “additional items” needed get either gifted from your neighbor’s or have enough videos to play to help get the items in a timely manner, then the number of videos would change daily, I was getting 9 or 10, then it dropped the next day to just 2! I just want to see if I can make level 80 without using anymore of my cash. Now there is a update I can’t get for the next event as it said was already opened which is not correct! Apple might be the blame with this as I keep getting a message when I open the game telling me there is a new update that Apple shows I have already opened!!! The game does have some fun challenges, but I’m not sure will be able to continue as now I’m on a fixed income with doesn’t leave any extra for fun stuff, like this game. Apple if you read this fix the error so I can at least get the latest update(s).

Love this game, but.... This game is really great. It’s designed very well, there are plenty of things to do in the game. Although, there are some suggestions I’d like to make. First, I would love it if you were able to see what resources you have while looking at the flight options. When I try to fly a helicopter it says I need one of each of these materials, but it never tells me how many of the materials I actually have. Second, I feel like for the amount that the user spends buying the gold membership, there should be a lot more coins and cash given to the user. I find it really hard to collect money when you’re just starting out in the game, especially when all the upgrades are so expensive!! The land is also very expensive, so that makes it hard to expand your city if you’re just using coins. And the last suggestion I’ll make is: there should be some sort of marketplace added. This can be a separate building in the city where you can place items for sale that you have (such as excess resources) and people or neighbors who come to visit your city can click on it and purchase something they need. I know you will continue making this game great!!

Great in beginning.. Not a bad game if you can afford the high cost in real $$$$. If you like games like sim city most likely you will like this one. However it may get repetitious and boring after a number of hours of game play. Try it free at first, play for a number of times, and be patient before spending real money. If you do that you will see just how much this game really cost to fully play. And talk about number of ads. Sometimes to complete a task such as a new building or utility you spend game money and then sit through 2 more ads and more game money to use it. That part is basic stupid. I think real money will bypass the ads however. I deleted game because it takes way to long to advance even with spending real money.

Enough with the updates. You know I’ve played a lot of this game, and enjoyed it while you could, but it seems like there’s always a new dumb update, and if you don’t do it then it’s a non stop pop up, and you aren’t able to do certain things. It’s not just you update the game, and open and play it. You have to wait forever for it to upload a bunch of other garbage As soon as you open it, and it won’t just background up date, so if you close the window it starts all the way back, your screen shuts off? All the way back. I mean what was the update? Just so it can store more stuff in my phone. Now this update I keep getting to 116.1 out of 160.6 and it has stopped three times now. If these updates are a constant every couple week thing I will just delete the game, and find a new one. Which might happen anyway if it doesn’t download this time. ENOUGH WITH THE USELESS UPDATES. I don’t care if it’s Halloween, or Christmas or whatever update you’re going to do. If there was some incentive then maybe it would be worth the time, but there’s not. I mean money takes forever to gather, coins take forever to gather so if it’s taking me forever to download it seems like there should be at least a big coin bonus at the least, but there’s not.

Money grab, so sad. So here is this moderately entertaining game that starts off with a little challenges and leveling up. Eventually you will find the only way to continue is by buying cash, with real money. Now that’s not the worlds worst idea, I have had to pay for every game I have played back in the day. The issue is the amount of money needed grows and truly has no end. At level 51 you need to expand to a level 6 runway. That runway costs 800,000 coins. Now forget that it takes about a month of playing several times a day to get 200,000 coins so it will take 3 to 4 months of spending no coins to get one item. Now if you want to spend your own cash to speed it up, here Is the kicker, it would cost you $396 in real cash to buy 800,000 coins. It is so frustrating because it really is a fun game and I would spend money on it but when you make items so expensive then there is no reason to spend any money. A building that costs 1,000,000, yes a million, coins only gives enough passengers to fly one plane that you got back in the early stages of the game. Come on guys get with it. Make the game reasonable

Game is Like Saving for a Ferrari While Working at McDonald’s. I’m not going to lie, the game is addicting but the farther you get into it, items are WAY overpriced for what you are making on flights and missions. While playing it, it is as boring and routine as a 9-5 job, you just stick to the routine clicking the shops and houses, sending planes on flights and allowing other planes to land. The premise of the game is fun but it just takes too much time to accomplish anything. Once you save up all your money and buy a new building, you then find out that you have to find more items to build. My example this week is, I saved all week for a Crossbill Helicopter which requires a command center and new helipad, (wohoo, I got enough money) but wait, before I can go on a flight, I now have to build a freaking Mechanical Plant to make items required for a flight. What does the Mechanical Plant do? It does exactly the same thing as the Resource Base, just creates different items. I ask myself every time I play, why I am playing and have no idea. I’m pretty close to deleting the app. Also, the adds are scams. One add is for a light saber which is a noted scam on Google. Game is just too slow!

Same ole. Third try, they still haven’t fixed the runway bug after years, two planes get stuck, have to exit and restart. It’s painful to have to wait for objects to complete buildings. That needs to be fixed for me to spend dough in the game. Example, after ten flights I still don’t get the required object. Increase chances by 2-3x or I give up. Even the spyglass doesn’t guarantee a key object. Otherwise the game is addictive and fun, I don’t mind the long plane flights as those can be done in down times or overnight for the most part. Please improve the odds and don’t make it necessary for “side items” to complete important upgrades. Otherwise, I give up around level 35 every time.

Too long for new ads. I absolutely love this game and was enjoying playing but I’m deleting it. The constant can’t upgrade because I’m missing items is annoying but was dealing with it. The reason I’m deleting is because of friend needed items to build or upgrade, your never gonna get these items from others because they need whatever they get to upgrade, can’t give it away. I was working with this because it allowed you to watch an ad and then you could receive what you needed and a 5 min timer came up and then watch again for something else. That timer is now 24 hrs in between items, like 5 items in. You try too hard to get people to spend money to pay for all the little stupid things you constantly need. I would’ve given money but this is one of those games, you always need to buy stupid stuff and will never end. Great concept, bad money grab, worst I’ve seen. Every once and a while a plane will get stuck on my 2nd runway, almost he’s waiting for an open slot. One opens but he never moves. Also the amount of fixes these planes and helicopters is getting really annoying. It seams one happens right after the other, if this continues… I’d call these planes lemons and would demand new ones from plane makers!!

Starts Out Fun and Then.... Let me put this game in perspective for someone looking to play it. The concept of airport/city builder is nice. I bought a starter pack and some coins for $7 total. The first few levels are fun then the prices go up higher than a Boeing 747!!! Bottom line, you earn 6 coins here, 2 coins there then after fulfilling a mission you might get a few hundred coins. But now you go to buy a Baggage Area for example it’s 10,000 COINS!!!!!!!!! That may take over a 1000 flights depending on where you’re flying too. Wow that’s a lot of time. Land prices double, upgrades double. It’s kinda odd. I probably would have continued to play and buy coins here and there if the building part wasn’t outrageously priced. If you have time to stare at your phone doing the same thing over and over and over and over or money to burn this is the game for you!

Stops being fun at lvl 10. The game is fun for about the first 10 levels before you hit what I call the “pay wall”: that point in most games where you have to fork over increasingly more money to make the game work. In this game, there’s no automation to resource gathering so you have to physically collect all resources yourself by clicking... you don’t log in to see that you’ve passively collected any money for instance. As an example, right now I’m at a point where i can’t progress without buying an expansion to my airport as well as 3 other buildings. That’ll cost about $60,000... I make about $500 per hour clicking on money producing buildings. This is all for buildings at level 11, as an FYI. Not very far into the game. Anyway it was fun up until that point. It stops being fun when you’re weighing the prospect of 100 hours of clicking or spending $50 on in game resources to get to the next “thing”.

Not loading. This is great game been basically neglecting all other games I have because I am playing this game all the time but got around level 17 or so and now for about 5 days it will not load up and I don’t know why. It’s frustrating I have been trying to find a game that I’m really happy with not just a game that if I played or not it didn’t matter and now I found it and it won’t load. I’ve tried a few things nothing changed. Only other thing I thought about doing is deleting the app and reinstalling it to see if it works. Now I back to trying to find game that keeps me interested not just playing to fill time

Addictive but Hard. I love this game! I’ve probably spent the most money on this because it’s so hard to build up coins and cash and everything costs more than what you make, kind of like the real world!!! Lol I wish the higher you upgrade your buildings or runways or land, the price wouldn’t rise so high.. at this point to buy land, it costs me 200,000 coins.. 😩 which I have saved but as soon as I spend it, I’m pretty much starting back over and I’m broke again!! The flights and buildings doesn’t make enough, and the ones that do give you a lot of coins, the wait time is waaaay too long. Like 3 days for 500 coins or 8 hours a flight for about 100 coins?? Come on man.. I get that you gotta make money but, it should not be this hard! Lol Overall, this city game is not like most and I am pretty addicted to it.. lol hopefully the developers could fix some of the issues, especially on the timing of each building and flights.

Totally worth it and awesome game but don’t make it you only. This game is SOOOO good. There are like a billion different ways to create your city and airport. When you start you are very far from what they show in the video. You earn money slowly. That is a good thing and sort of a bad thing thing. It is a good thing because it takes a long time until you get to the end. But don’t just make it your only game because once you reach certain number of levels many times it’s just collecting money and sending out flights. Then there is nothing to do for hours until your flights come back. So if you like planes I recommend you also get RFS or X plane. Thanks hope you get it! By.

Fun but annoying. The cost for everything is expensive and it’s hard to even make money cause you only make $5-$100 per plane. And then the costs just don’t add up to the pay. It just takes forever just to make $1000 when stuff is costing 6,000+ and on top of that with upgrades and purchasing stuff being u reasonable, I also have to find items to be able to finish building or upgrading a building that already costed me $8000 to build. I know there is an option to watch an add but seriously, just keep the excessive prices and take off the find item crap or lower the prices and continue the find item crap. Can you guys make this game more reasonable? Cause the way the game is it’s ruining the fun. I don’t like to feel like I’m playing a game that feels like I’m working a job busting my booty with crap pay and trying to pay bills and survive. Cause that’s literally what your game is set up like and it’s annoying and stressful as heck.

Good game but based on sheer greed. This game has a valid premise but is based on a model of sheer greed. Everything in this game is designed to get you to spend money. You could literally spend thousands of dollars in this game if you wanted to. I’m not spending that kind of money on a video game. AINT HAPPENING!!! It takes forever to build up coin supplies just to buy 1 item. Then the prices all triple. You fly hundreds of meaningless flights that get u nothing overly helpful to build your city in small worthless planes. Every investment requires something else. Took me 4 days just to upgrade the tower so I could use 1 class bigger plane. And you can watch thousands of ads just to get the simplest of things done. Here’s another nasty surprise. While watching ads sometimes the game crashes while returning back to the game. That resets the 24 hour wait timer which pretty much wipes out your progress for the entire day. Why is it necessary to have a 24 hour wait timer for??? This is most unreasonable except to further the “pay to win” strategy of this game. 200,000 coins is 100 bucks of real cash. You’d eat thru that in about 8 items or so given the exorbitant economic inflation in this game Simple and short summary? Getting ahead Is a giant exercise in futility on what should be a fun game. Needs serious improvements in overall design. Have much better things to do with my time

Entertaining game. Still hard…. This game is addicting and fun. I agree the coins should be worth more. It’s understandable that things like land cost more as you play but it escalates too quickly in my opinion. I was about to stop playing but the Time to Rock special event has an awesome mini-game flight simulator that speeds up flights and wins you bonuses — it’s amazing & we need more of this! More coin makes it more fun. I wish you could double your coins in a mini game. I’ve considered purchasing coins or airport cash but they’re very overpriced in my opinion. It’s a super fun game — the only flaw is how expensive it is to run the airport! Just to level up & land bigger planes you need: Upgraded runways, control tower, concourse, service stands, maintenance hanger, & probably town hall. And that’s before you even buy the bigger plane.

You just wait... and wait. I like this game very much. It is well thought out and challenging, with a unique combination of skills and items to be acquired in order to build your world of commerce and capitalism... BUT most of the challenge is waiting endlessly for building/products upgrades and forward progress (Spoiler alert: the emphasis unfortunately seems to be on aggravating you to the point of purchasing your way through the unnecessary wait times they impose on you- this certainly defeats the “neato” factor and the initial joy I began with). If you like to “buy” your way through cool games and have the throw away money in this day and age to do so (shame on you- go donate to a charity!), then this game is terrific! If you’re like me and can’t even afford to ‘refuse to spend money on principle’, then you will sadly put this app on the back burner day after day while waiting for a terminal or coffee shop or power plant to upgrade and push you forward to interesting new heights. If the creators and administrators would like to correct this irritatingly obvious flaw, I’d be happy to re-think my opinion. Otherwise, I can’t recommend this game unless you have two or more lifetimes to have a go at it.

Disheartened. I downloaded this game through an instagram app and was excited to try it. It was reminiscent of games back in the 2010s that were on everyone’s Facebook. I was instantly hooked and was getting objectives after objective. But then at around level 13 the game got severely annoying. I needed more land but that would cost 6000. I needed an upgraded strip and that cost 15,000. And the list of things get piling up and they were all things I needed 5 grand and up on along with a list of materials that I needed to get from planes that hardly ever came. I got so disheartened because on top of it they make planes and helicopters need repairs. It got very annoying very fast and I tried to stick it out but I could not since the game does not pay out with the work that you do. The most I would earn was maybe 1000 and that’s with all of the helicopters and planes. The buildings I had would give me 1 coin each or maybe 13 coins. I couldn’t add anything else because I couldn’t expand. Now seeing the reviews I see everyone has the same problem and the dev team doesn’t care. I almost bought a money pack but realized it’s most likely a cash grab scheme. In my opinion this game is no longer worth it and deleted it today.

Tons of technical issues and bad Tech Support. I have a tech support issue weekly; things like earning items but then not actually having them in my collection, earning Alliance bonuses but not having them go active for several hours after they should have been, or sending planes on short flights and returning to the game hours later to find the plane flight timer got stuck at the beginning of the flight. It would be one thing if it rarely happened, but it happens all the time. I spend a lot of time and a fair amount of money investing in the game, but all these technical issues are beginning to make me distrust the game. I have to constantly make sure I was given what I earned. It would be like playing a few levels of Mario to try and get a mushroom and then when you finally do, it doesn’t make Mario grow. To make matters worse, their tech support is terrible. Their tech support often closes tickets without taking care of me; they simply offer their apologies and then ask me to rate the service. They’re really cheap about the game as well. One time they gave me a measly Business Class bonus to compensate me for the inconvenience, but only after I asked to be compensated. I may have to find another game to spend my idle time on.

Expensive. 1. A square piece of land is now more expensive than a plane. 2. Try this… accept an incoming plane. Then go to fb and spend the time allotted to allow that plane to land. Go back to the game. Congratulations. You have missed the opportunity to receive the snow flakes and the rest of the awards. 3. Why are you spacing the incoming planes timeframe? There should constantly be planes awaiting for you to accept them. I shouldn’t have to wait for a new guest plane to arrive on my radar. I mainly gave you a three star because land is too expensive to expand, and you want to us to sit on this game all day to accept planes. Some of us like to log in, accept a few planes, leave and do something else while we are waiting for the planes to land. We multi task. I work for wellsFargo as a TL, and some of us have to multi task. At least be grateful we think of your game and log in during working times. Give us the privalege of being able to do so with our losing planes.

Nothing like the ads. I downloaded this game after seeing an ad in a different game. The ad shows shows a plane flying and landing at an airport like a flight simulator would, however game play is not even close to that. It’s a typical city building game with outrageous costs to build the city with low levels of earnings enticing you to spend money to play. For example; I can earn 5 coin by allowing a guest plane to land at my airport, but it costs me 15,000 coin to upgrade 1 runway. I’ll also need to upgrade other facilities which require more coin as well as random items dropped by the game. It’s tedious, annoying and just like most other “free” games it’s fun for a few levels but then gets to the point where earning is slow and very tedious to advance in the game. In my opinion Apple should crack down on game makers showing ads that depict game play that’s different from what the game being advertised really does.

Click to play. Basically you click “buttons” to play! They didn’t integrate small games in the game like landing straight or take off straight or avoiding clouds or whatever you can come up with. From level 1 to level 10 you can develop pretty fast. Just click your way trough lunch brake and on day 5-6 you will be at level 10. After that is completely different story. It super slow to complete tasks and the game basically force you to pay if you want to do it faster. It gives you option to watch adds of course, about 30 seconds until you can close it, to speed up what ever you do or get the item you need. Despite that it’s something different and pretty well made. Airplanes rarely go over each other, runaways are lit and airplanes are light directed. Didn’t reach that point but it seems you can customize a lot of details. Suggestions : 1. Integrate small games in there 2. Make the tower automatic (probably by completing some tasks). Let’s say for 8-10 hours so you can earn points while you sleep for at least once a week. 3. Host breakfast/lunch events at the airport so other pilots/players can come up for that and exchange goods Thanks

Interesting Game. This game does seem like it has the potential to be a really fun game. However I don’t feel that the Coin System is set up in any way that does not benefit the player. It takes too long to earn coins and you don’t receive enough to help you do anything. The little bit that you do receive it takes a couple days to reach the needed amount for building or doing any upgrades. There is also a glitch that happens when the Hawk Lands it seems to get stuck when coming in from the Landing Strip to Terminal 1. Which ends up jamming up the planes that are landing or due to land freezing the game. Maybe if this game was not so stingy with the Coin System this would be a perfect game.

Wow (I can’t believe it’s not butter). Yet another cutesy little game that makes me want to scream at ads. I saw 5 before I had my first runway built. This game has a nice interface to sit and look at as your progress at the rate of a small bald guy at an up scale party. Almost zip if it weren’t for the cocktail waitress asking him if he Wants another cup of coffees Then suddenly you realize this game is just another gem like like thousands before it. And annoying to even try it out. I looked up after 3 solid days of trying it to realize I still hadn’t met the requirements to get a freaking terminal to house my few new airplanes I’m sure would take another 3 days to even squire. I’m sorry I don’t have that much patience for this game. And devs let me give you some advice. Make this one pay once and play forever and let us relish in our growth and prosperity. For $2.99-$3.99 I’m sure i might consider buying it. But you wont, and I’m not sure who would pay over and over to play this slowed down version of Sim Airpot. An update flash! Still waiting for another 20 hours until I might start constructing my second terminal! Yay! In another week I might have 3 planes! And if I wait long enough, I won’t need those 3 planes because I’ll need jets by then. So those will be worthless. Who built this crap????!!!!!!

Please take the time and read before u download. I got this game about a week ago. It is fun to start with but as time goes on it turns into a real crap show. Everything cost so much money and u have little money coming in.i need to pay a 4 th parking spot for my plane and it is going to cost 7000 I would have to play the game for 26 hours straight to get that cash if I was lucky. You need items to finish building that aparently don’t exist even at the places it says it does. I go to those place over and over and never get the items I am looking for. I could go on forever but the point is don’t get this game. It will disappoint you after the first few days. Until the developer gets off their but and listens to their customers I will not , and you should not, buy or download any games from this company until they fix the pricing, building requirements and ability to get income. Tried to email support but unless you tell them you like the game they will not help or give you the decency of an answer

Frustrated like most others. Like most have stated already this game started off fun and a good source of quiet relaxing entertainment. As you level up it takes a lot of coin and airport bucks which you soon find out you have to spend your own hard earned money to more than supplement the lack of coins and green bucks. Once you get your head around that piece you than realize yet another major challenge and even more frustrating is the drop rate for items. For example, the Halloween and thanksgiving event they give you to work towards. I haven’t been able to successfully complete either one because the items just wouldn’t drop. I played non stop during the allotted time to complete these tasks and got nothing for it. I opened two tickets outlining the problem with their drop rates not working properly... in both cases I a canned response saying the developers said the game was working correctly. I was also told no one else had complained of this issue. That was a lie, multiple people have the same frustrating results. I would really like the developers to hear our complaints, understand our frustration and make the necessary changes to make this game worth investing our time playing it.

Game is fun just way to expensive if you want to really go anywhere with the game.. I agree with one of the reviews. It is very difficult to gets enough coins to save up for up grades. So unless you want to spend a ton of money on buying coins or airport dollars it takes weeks sometimes to upgrade runway or get more land unless you spend all day clicking on buildings. On some buildings it takes several days before you get any coins. Very difficult to upgrade by collecting enough coins. I enjoy the game but coins are not really easy to come by on big upgrades. The fights are pretty useless unless your spending all day clicking on them. I have spent several hrs a day trying. I know your trying to make money but you really don’t get that much fir real money. Plus the only way to get any airport money is when you level up. Comeyou could at least give the amount of airport money as the level is. Very stingy..... I enjoy the game but I am considering deleting because I don’t have 10 hrs a day to sit and click on flights.

Pull Out The Amex. The game at a base level is fun. However every mechanic is geared toward pack/perk purchases which are outrageously priced. Even a simple mechanism like auto collecting money and passengers requires you to be at level 15 and certain building priced at over 15k. But the buildings you can afford without pack purchasing produce one coin at a time. It’s a shameless money grab venture all the way around. Seems like it could be very fun and spawn a pretty loyal player base. I buy packs in game for $5 here 7 there but $40-$100 packs never. I’ve also never written a review but this one had me upset enough to write a review then delete the game. You’ll enjoy it though if you’re wealthy or just feel like maxing out a credit card to barely get anywhere. So there’s that. It would have been one star but I think if you had all the perks and packs it would be fun. I just don’t have $10k I’m willing to blow on this game.

VERY EXCELLENT GAME BUT A BIT UNFAIR. This game is made with perfection however there are some unbalanced aspects the “coins” you receive from flights completed have little to no affect on the larger scale of things I feel like you should have them option to SALE items out of your warehouse, the coin price for everything is a bunch much unless u want to keep paying the game actual US currency that would be your only way to get ahead they will throw a $9.99 sale and you receive 120,000 coins but to update your terminal or run way may be 80,000 coins in which case not leaving you much left to work with for your money they should increase the amount of coins you receive when spending your REAL money also if you buy a plane for 12,000 you may flight it one time and decide you want to sell it the game will offer you 2,000 NOT EVEN 50% of the coins you spent to buy it in the 1st place OVERALL EXCELLENT game just feel like the developers should give the consumers more for there hard earned money!

This is a PAY TO WIN GAME - not recommended. I appreciate that companies have to make money off their games. However when the game is designed in 100% favour of the developers to make more money than the user it makes for a very unpleasant experience. In order for this game to be enjoyable you have to keep paying real money to achieve any goodness. This I find unfair. For instance you buy a store for 800 game coins but it only yields 2 coins every 20 minutes. To build a runaway you need 15,000 game coins, yet to make this amount of coins you physically have to play for 102 hours. Yet, if I pay real money of over $80 I can have it instantly. That means that you would be paying nearly $600 a week of real money to even have a chance to enjoy playing the game. This is why I find this game to be poorly disadvantaged to the user. PAY TO WIN is an unfair advantage. Consider actually to have the coins accruing even when the user is not online to make it fair. More to it, if you don’t collect the coins, it doesn’t accumulate even if you are playing. Very unfair game. DO NOT DOWNLOAD - waste of money.

Rip Off. Total waste of time. Been playing the game, all of a sudden have no access to a plane because I don’t have want to pay actual Money to pay for a part needed. Buildings also require payment to complete. Made the mistake and bought Coins to play, then the game wanted more money to buy notes. Don’t waste your time on this - unless you are willing to pay this is one of the biggest ripoffs. CHEATED

Great game, addictive but very grindy. On the positive side, the game itself is fairly simple to comprehend, and the interface is really intuitive overall. The quests are fun and not too taxing, and it’s quite “cute”. On the negative side, unless you are happy to throw a lot of money into it, this game will take FOREVER to do anything. Seriously, I mean days to do even early upgrades as you grind for cash very slowly, and when they say an item drops rarely, you better believe it! If you are happy to throw some money at it, it’d be really fun. If not, it gets dead boring very quickly.

Like trench warfare.. Just like trench warfare, you spend most of your time doing the same things over and over and gain very little or even no ground in the process. I found this game to be very tedious and after suffering with it for several weeks finally gave up on it. Most games employ a pay to win strategy but this is by far the worst I’ve come across. I’m happy to pay to play a game but I refuse to keep paying just to progress. When you buy a game for a PC or console yo buy it once and you play it on an even playing field against others. With games like these you can pay ten times the amount of a console game and be nowhere in comparison (and I’ll guarantee those console games cost a heap more to develop). In summing up, if you enjoy mind dumbing repetitive activities for little or no reward then this is the game for you. If you enjoy slow expansions but rapid levelling up (putting you further behind) then jump on it. If you dream of lining the pockets of greedy developers and receiving a mediocre product at best, then download this game.

Great game, with some issues. This is a really fun game. I removed my dad playing it and I knew I would love. For a plane enthusiast like myself, I really wish there were real airlines. It would make the game heaps more fun. Another thing is that this game is very much a pay-to-win game, as it talks forever to earn money. Overall this game is heaps of fun, and with a little bit of work, could go places!

4 stars (maybe?). I’m at lvl 10 right now and I am enjoying this game. What I am not enjoying is that I keep running out of fuel. Pls let us have more fuel storage. I would give this game five stars if this prob is solved. Also players earn money so slow they rather play another game instead. So maybe give all players a permanent 2x income boost?

Gets a little monotonous after a while. Love the game but I am at grade 28 with level 5 runways. I was expecting more planes wanting to land and higher level of control on which runway and which terminal they go to. A plane request comes approximately every 20 seconds. Just takes sooo long while you wait for next request. Come on guys, make it more challenging, give more control and send in more planes.

Poor response to technical issues. Recently the game has changed and has become more money focused while delivering no technical support at all. For the last two months I have had to report what looks to be a technical issue. Each time I receive the automated message that someone will get in contact with me however it hasn’t happened. Instead, at the end of each challenge I have received an automated message asking if I still have a problem and then an other message straight away stating that they are closing the issue as they haven’t heard from me. This is becoming a joke as with each new challenge it is becoming more difficult to compete unless I spend money. Why would I want to spend money on a game that offers no real support? Poor service by the developers is no way to encourage people to play this game.

So much potential. Progress is excruciatingly slow and repetitive.....the cost of in app purchases is so ridiculous, you wouldn’t even bother. The game looks fantastic though and is very detailed, hence the extra star. Good for mind numbing play every so often, but if you want a decent airport in a big town/small city, I hope you have extremely deep pockets

Don’t recommend. Not as fun as I thought it would be. You had to wait a lot and it took ages to get enough money to buy anything. I was super excited about customising my planes but you could only select ones they made and you still couldn’t get them because there was not button to put them on your plane.

Way too slow in progressing levels. It seemed an enjoyable game at first, but it takes forever. Days and days just to buy a building and then after you pay the coins you find you must discover extra objects which take more than a week. It seems like an okay game, I like their ideas and interface, but it takes WAAAYYY too long to get anywhere. Therefore I do not recommend it at all. Obviously if you want to pay hundreds of dollars you will progress faster but really, it’s not worth it.

Piscesdragon. I spent hundreds of dollars on the old version of the game and was fairly high in my level, around level 85, but couldn’t get it transferred to the new version, so I lost the old version in the process since I had only one device. Support said that there was nothing that they could do as it was on game centre. So I lost the game and had to start again. I am not going to spend money on a application that can’t be properly updated.

Keeps crashing all the time. This app is frustrating as it keeps crashing all the time. I write to the support people but their help never solves any problems and the app keeps on crashing. Playing the game and building takes too much time. I gave this game a go but like all the other players I will be deleting this app and playing no more. MR Ps I have already contacted the app support team. This is such a waste of time and internet data.

Rewarding if you put the effort in. Airport City has to be one of the most rewarding games I have ever played on any platform. The game rewards players who put the effort in, and you don’t need to spend any money if you don’t want to. Technical Support is responsive to fixing issues that come up in game play. Warmly recommend it.

Waste of time. They gives you nothing, first the coins and money generation is pain and then when you buy/upgrade stuff you need more stuff to run and they will not drop from flights very very rarely, so you have to pay for them or good luck getting them. Very slow in level updating too. To sum up, if you have plenty of time you can waste it here, but nothing much you can do.

Rip off. It’s a shame given it’s a good game.......yet a waist of time. Unless you are willing to spend a fortune you will get nowhere. Costs a ridiculous amount to upgrade.....and when you finally upgrade you have to either watch up to 8 ads to finally get access to your upgrade or spend lots of money Don’t waist you time

Great little boredom buster. I’ve been playing since earlier in the year and love it! Some days I only log in to grab my daily reward but other days I’ll keep checking back to complete my daily challenges etc. I love the different events and trying to see what I can accomplish. Yes, there are definitely lots of opportunities for i game purchases but I haven’t spent any real money on the game yet and am enjoying the experience!

Review. The costing that goes up when you want to purchase land is totally ridiculous. All the game creators wanna do it make you spend real world money in the game to buy stuff, yes I have done most of my playing without spending real world money but it is a rip off! You don’t get enough returns for your flights, and rewards are just not worth it sometimes... There’s some really good moments in the game but if the rewards were better then the game would be better. I play it almost daily but I also have other games that are better that don’t try and make you spend real world money...

Good game!. Honestly I love playing this game, the game includes lots of runway, planes and building upgrades. But I have one suggestion for this game is to make the planes more realistic like the b737, b747, A320 and the A380. Appreciated if you do so, so far this game is a 4 star rating.

Too slow for free players. Game is far too slow to earn money. Could take you weeks to save up to buy something in game if you’re not pay to play. When you do pay, you basically get what you should have been getting as a free player. Really needs some improvement in this area. Ends up being very tedious!

👎. If you are a person that has seen an ad for this game and it looked really cool. Well the game is nothing like the ad. It takes ages to complete one Level unless you have a deep pocket. The simulations in the game and the physics are very unrealistic. In the ad it says something about you managing an airline but really you just build a city that with a airport with no taxiway so the hangers lead right onto the runway. I hope this review helped people.

Addictive but expensive. It takes too long to save the money to go forward and gain land and build, the vicious cycle is terrible and to be honest very annoying. I have sat and played for most of the day some days and just get frustrated at how long it takes to move on. Time to delete the game

Liked the idea. I liked the idea of the game but after playing for 24 hours I found all it wants is money to progress or an extreme amount of patience it took nearly 12 hours to upgrade a building due to having to wait for items to drop and the game can’t progress without the building and the game can’t progress because it needs more space which they reduce the cash options (which cost real world money) but the in game cost is huge and it would take I would imagine 24-48 hours to complete to get the money. I’m not choosing to find out how long it does take as I’m deleting the game. Not worth the effort.

Good but a few things….. I love this game except if it’s gonna say suitable for 4+ then why say log in to Facebook? Like you expect kids to have Facebook? Please remove that and make upgrades cheaper or it easier to earn money. Otherwise I love the game.

Meh. It’s a good game but like many other people have said you either need to throw $$$$ at it to get anywhere and even the 200k coins wouldn’t go far. OR just spend a long time slowly upgrading everything. What needs to happen is the price of upgrades in the game needs to be dropped by 15-20% and maybe the revenue of buildings increased by 10%.

Wish they added something else. I wish you could move a plane out of a hanger and put another plane in. But what you have done is that you have to sell the plane and put the one you want in, and what if you did’t have the right runway level for the plane it’s just a waste of MONEY! But the rest of the game is fantastic and enjoyable for me.

Amazing concept, greedy developers. The gameplay and idea of this game is fun and well thought out. You play it for the first day and it’s very enjoyable. After that the time involved in doing anything or progressing increases exponentially and you are practically forced to pay to play. Like most of these scams they have multiple forms of currency and try to sting you on many different levels. Actually really sad as the game was incredibly fun the first day but you could sink $1,000s into it and still not end up with much progression.

I like this game but there are too many bugs. This game used to be perfect before they changed the airport layouts. Tbh I like the new changes although it does need some work. My main issue is the bug with the hawk when it lands I waits for a spot in The queue then freezes and doesn’t move making that runway useless. I thought this was a one of thing but it has happened five times in the last two days. Please fix this is very frustrating and makes it very hard to progress. And at this rate I’m just going to quit

The latest event literally requires US$100 to complete.. I’ve played this game for a few months and really enjoyed it. It hasn’t pushed micro transactions much and events have been doable by free-to-players.. until now. There is currently an event that requires players to make 10 space lunches in 7 days. However, each launch takes 24 hours. Meaning this event is literally impossible to complete... without buying the Quantum Leap item. Directly from Airport City’s event guide- “ Take a note: In order to successfully complete the event you have to participate in group launches where Quantum leap bonus is used or to activate it by yourself” Each Quantum Leap costs US$100 worth of in-game currency. You or your friend must spend over one hundred dollars to complete the latest event. Absolutely shameful.

NO GAME CENTER/CLOUD!?!?. I really like this game and I started on pc. The really ANNOYING thing is there is no cloud save game or Game Center to play on other devices I would really like them to add that🙏🙏🙏. Also leveling up takes aaaaaaaaaages please make it faster because I need to earn coins faster and it’s kinda hard to progress at the game because it’s slow. Otherwise good game. 👍😁😁

Money sucking game. This is an interesting game. I enjoyed playing it. However, very quickly I realised that unless I am willing to spend big money on it, I am not going to achieve any progress in it. I have already spent more than A$50 within one week, and that wasn’t going to be the end of it. The game is very stingy in rewarding you when you achieve goals/tasks and you are constantly having to spend money to upgrade facilities in the game. I had to give it up or it would have cost me an absolute bomb.

Em Em. It’s a great game indeed However it’s way to hard to get to the newer stages . Also it is way to expensive to buy new. Coins $159 for 1200. Pins and that’s when the. Pins are discounted.... Money is needed. In order to get anywhere in this game you really need to spend money. It literally takes so long to get enough money for expansions and runways etc without purchasing on your credit card which I have maybe done once and you don’t get much for your Money either... sometimes I actually get quite bored with this game. ☹️

WHY IT THERE？. This new update is great as, now you can see all the planes that are requesting to land but there are some bugs. This problem keeps annoying me and it that, when I tell a hawk plane to land, the plane request below it has a tick instead of a cross AND I don’t even have the right runway! Please fix this bug because when you see the tick, you’ll think that you can land this plane BUT you can’t! And it’s super annoying! PLEASE FIX IT!

Takes too long to afford things. I feel like you need to play for a solid 10 hours just to be able to afford 1 thing you need, but once you’re able to afford it, you need other things to make it run or actually work or you need to upgrade, then you spend another 10 hours trying to get money to make the thing you spent 10 hours getting, just to run, it’s ridiculous, then they say, you need to buy this and this and this to get more income, how can I do that when I can never ever afford it?! Lol.......and you’re like “Yep I’ll be back in 30 hours when I actually get the coins or money to afford it” 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Good idea for a game, too slow to play.. The idea of this game is amazing, it’s something I could see myself playing long term, but it’s made near impossible to make any progress unless you wait days and days to be able to afford land or building upgrades. So unless you’re willing to spend hundreds of REAL $$$ then you’ll probably delete this game with a couple weeks.

The game concept and ideas are great, but destroyed by offers and in-app purchases. When I played the game, offers showed on my screen every time I played and it was hard to afford and buy runways and aircraft without making in-app purchases. Also, ads ruin your experience when you play the game. Advice to the developers is to reduce costs and provide users with more advantages to make the game more fun and fair to play. If you want to play, make sure that you have your iTunes gift cards and credit cards ready to play, because if you can afford the in-app purchases in the game you will need to have multiple credit cards...

Expensive coins and money for kids. My son loved it but to buy the coins and money are too expensive. He finished his pocket money for this game and very slow to develop because it’s very expensive 😔.To expanding the land cost $20K it means he need to play everyday but he only allowed during weekends so basically he tried catch up with the money by watching so many ads that which sometimes inappropriate to watch :( we still deciding to delete or keep this game🙄

Don’t waste your time on this money grabber. It starts out like a good interesting game, then you quickly find yourself well behind as the more you try and expand the incremental cost required is staggering and would require you to shelve out significant amount of money To buy a simple building is in excess of US$20 and that is just for a single building. I started out really enjoying this game but am now deleting it and will not give them a cent more (luckily only shelved out $5). The developers need to stop being so greedy. If you want a good sim game try Sim City they at least are not anywhere as greedy as these guys

Does not get 4.4 rating.. Waste of time and money and my internet time. Small amount of money they give you for the time you got to spend. You do the places they say to get the items you need just find it came back without them so you do it again, again and still no items. This game is only a money maker for the maker not for the gamer that for sure. I think the game needs a rating of 0.2.

Plane crashes. The whole games good everything is fun about it but I just wish there could be Planck accidents and stuff to make the game a bit more challenging but besides that it’s a great game

Crashing. The app is great. However a cliche has occurred. When one needs more fuel and selects watch a short video to obtain the extra fuel the app crashes at the end of the video. In other words the “ get free by watching a video “ function is broken. This is annoying. Please fix this glitches ASAP.

In my experience offers show up all the time, also ads destroy the experience as everything you do is followed by an ad. Advice to developers, make the game less dependent on in-app purchases and easier for free to play players. Also reduce ads as it ruins the game and it has great potential. Be less greedy.

Not worth it. Like the concept and it's fun at the start but thats where it starts requiring you to spend real money or you will be playing the waiting game for a very long time to even make a bit of progress, even then the more you progress the more expensive it becomes. I expect developers to be paid for their work but let's be real here this is just a cheaply designed mobile game it's nothing top of the line to be forking out $100's if not $1000's for just to be making progression. You're much better off buying FSX for like $20, 100x more value for money, and the greed of the developers are clear. The game is FREE right? I downloaded it for my PC for FREE, I owned it. I wanted to play the game without the developers biased currency/progression scheme so I used it for my personal offline use and tweaked the games currency so I could actually play it like it's meant to. Not harming anybody. Except the developers back pockets of course as they disable my account the next day, Get back to reality with your price of playing this game.

Too slow!. This game looked good to start but I quickly realised how every building or expansion was really costly and it takes ages to accumulate the in game money. And don’t get me started on how ridiculously expensive the, I’ll call them, speed up dollars, are, the ones you actually buy, soooo EXPENSIVE. Change those few things and I will consider coming back to the game, otherwise, no chance, that is time in my life I won’t get back!,

Get your credit card ready. I’ve been playing this game almost everyday for about 4 years, so writing a negative review speaks to my insanity I guess lol. The interface is great, and I enjoy the challenges. It does take commitment to play it successfully though, and even someone like me who hates paying for games, to get the most out of it you inevitably have to spend. I also find the lack of generosity frustrating at times, when they say an item seldom drops, they mean it. I check in to play at least twice everyday ... and my rank is still only 77. Max is 80, and whilst my rank doesn’t bother me, I often wonder how some players get to 80 so quickly. They either play it 24/7, or there is some cheat I don’t know about. Overall, if you got sucked into FarmVille or similar, this is for you. I accept it for what it is and find it enjoyable and therapeutic. It will continue to fly!

Its OK, but I dont think I will keep it.. I already put some money into it before I realised that it was going to be a bottomless pit. There’s very little progress unless you are prepared to spend up big, and the game is less than generous with freebies. All free stuff seems to need to have an ad watched and that is getting tiresome. Other games of its ilk seem to allow more. Its a really good game, as long as you dont mind going super slow, or spending your money. And it will cost you hundreds.

Unstable game. I have submitted many tickets to support saying that the game often crashes often, I am then asked if I uninstalled the game to re-install the game, and still crashes. Get rid of some of the graphics that bog the server down to stabilize the game

They delete your stuff. Frequently after repairing my planes the game will glitch or something and my plane disappears. I would like my planes back please.

Needs to tell what type of land for a building to be placed. While I was trying to send my hawk on a flight it said that I need a flight school. I was ok with that. Since the flight school costed 8000 coins and I needed land I bought some land with bills because I didn’t want o spend my coins for the flight school. When I saved up for the flight school it said that I didn’t have room. I didn’t know why since I just bought the grey land since I thought I that’s where it was supposed to be. I realized that it was supposed to be green land. But it never told me that. But otherwise the game is great.

Last update FULL of bugs!!!!. The last update released is garbage! Various sounds missing, planes stop at taxiways when all gates free, not allowed to land planes even though all requirements including appropriate runway met.

Good game but need minor things fixed. The game is great however there are few minor issues - Unlocking new airplanes at certain level is great, however it is impossible to keep up with updating the runways to support the new airplanes. We should only have airplanes arrive to our runways if they can land on them instead of having to reject every other plane. If I keep up with runways, everything else will be neglected. I’m ok with taking time to make money and unlock new things, however a lot of these things go hand and hand and they’re all too expensive to upgrade. - Not enough money. Money comes in pennies but anything you wanna get is in 10s of thousands. We need to make at least 4x the amount without any buffs - Weak buffs. When you do get a buff, it increases the money you make by measly 20%. This buff needs to increase the amount by 200% at minimum - Airplanes should slow down a lot more at the end of the runways and they should turn slowly - In game store is so expensive that it will make people want to delete the game. This is a major issue even for those willing to spend money to advance faster

It could be GREAT. The game is fun to play, at first. It quickly becomes impossible to make any progress without dumping considerable amounts of money. Prices for things jump dramatically but your income doesn’t, so you’re left to grind it out forever or dump a few bucks. I made a couple of purchases (less than $20) to support the team and realized that might have been a mistake. Personally, I’m tired of these games and it’s a shame because gaming is meant to be fun. Paying to win isn’t a sustainable or equitable way to game. As much as I hope they lower the costs of the in-game acquisitions, like $15k for a level 3 runway when you still make $6 a landing LOL. I’m just leaving this review here and uninstalling the app. No regrets!

Fun but lonnnnggg. Generally its a very good game ! Good graphic and is fun to play . However, it’s almost impossible to jump to another level when you near level 15 unless you play 24 hours a day or you spend hundred and hundred of dollars to buy items to help you increase your level . Good but slow. I got hooked on the game but it slowed down really fast. Takes too many coins to do stuff, they are really encouraging in app-purchases. However even the coins cost alot to BUY. They are fake coins dont charge 13$ for half a runway cost. Thats how expensive it is, it costs like 13$ to get half funding for runway. Either that or u wait nearly an entire day if u leave the game open the whole time. I also wish planes came more frequently, i find it dumb to have 3 open pads but only one plane comes every 30 secs. It would be nice to be over capacity sometimes for some excitement. Also theres this one glitch where the planes are stuck taxiing where u have to restart the game to fix.

Disappointing. The game could be fun. But it gets frustrating. Your plane may get stuck on a taxiway not allowing any other planes to land. The best way out of this - is to turn the game on and off. To move forward for free, you might have to watch videos. Sometimes the videos are unavailable. I purchased a fantastic speed kit. I never got it. Reached out to support. Support is a bot. It could not help me. I am still waiting for human intervention. It makes one wonder if they would not have been better to continue to develop the game instead of a bot for support. Next day update Well, it has almost been 48 hours (so much for the promise of having it in less than 24 hours), still no plane purchased kit. Got a link for support. Clicked on it. Fill out the issues. Got an automated reply!!! Again! Problem is still not resolved!!! And yes, this also could happen to you!!! Beware. On the issue of planes getting stuck on the taxiway, it has resolved itself when I upgraded my runways. Who knew? Obviously not the developer. But you are going to love this. Now, guest hawk planes get stuck on the take off line of the runways. Turning the game on and off will reset it, but you lose some coins doing it. And we all know how long it takes to get the coins up! Surprised that there are so many glitches. I am wandering if all GI games are so glitchy? I will keep you posted as it unfolds! Well folks. I finally got my purchased package - 48+ hours.

Ads. There are way too many ads on this game you repair your planes ads you upgrade your buildings ads then in order to get the things for the upgrade ads . WAY TOO MANY ADS

Time consuming. I love the game but it takes so long to get anywhere. It is a good game when you are on a road trip or are waiting for someone but like another review said it is around level 4 that the prices sky rocket for the main terminal. Good game but keeps crashing. It’s a great game, but every time, it keeps freezing, the planes don’t move and they get stuck. Other than than it’s good, but due to this issue, you lose valuable time. Would not recommend. If it happens again, I will uninstall it.

Unstoppable ads added :(. This game was awesome… I’ve been playing it for many years now. But they’ve been adding unskippable ads. I’m more than willing to watch ads as long as I am getting free rewards…but you’ve crossed a line by putting unskippable ads. Also the ads are sometimes full volume even if your phone is on silent. That should be illegal.

Not worth it. It was fun at first but honestly after a certain point you have to spend a ridiculous amount of money to get any fun out of it…every time there’s a special event/challenge you have to wait days to try and collect items that aren’t even rare.

Slight issues. Please fix the ads, when I try to watch an ad for a free item, the ad doesn’t start. Also, make it easier to get money, the game gets boring after you grind for too long. Fun game! I’m excited to see what the developers add next!

Fun, but frustrating. The game is fun, but if you don’t want to spend any money, it takes forever. To start off, everything is relatively cheap. As you progress, it seems like everything gets exponentially more expensive. Your flights take hours at a time and hardly make any money compared to how expensive things are. The really dumb part is that most of the upgrades and new buildings require additional items you can only get from certain flights which you have a low chance of getting. You can buy these items for cash or sometimes watch a video to get them. It take a lot of time in game to progress, and even then it is very slow going. I am lvl 19 at the time of writing.

This takes forever.. I have been playing this game for about two year and I am getting nowhere fast. This game’s developers are greedy, they make you watch ads and get paid from these advertisers and then ask you to pay an arm and a leg for virtual buildings usually costing about $30. Buying property takes FOREVER to buy because each time you buy a piece of land, it cost more, same thing when you want to upgrade buildings. This game moves at an extremely slow pace, EXTREMELY SLOW! I gave it a 1 star because it’s starting to get extremely boring, it’s so expensive, it’s slow, it has a lot of bugs and problems, it has way to many ads, the creators are very greedy, and did I mention, it is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE.

Way too expensive. Addicting game. There is a lot to do. However the amount of real money needed to progress even the slightest is outrageous. Just a general idea, if you wanted to upgrade a building or add land and didn’t want to spend 72 hours of our game time it would cost you $50 of real hard earned money. Some of the other stuff is just ridiculous with processes too. Each time you add a plot of land the next plot go up in price. Even though the plots are the same size. And then they are so small plots that you can only put a few building on it. And then you must upgrade the town hall almost every time you buy a plot because your population allowance isn’t enough. And then you must add more power. I gave it 2 stars only because it’s fun to play. But pricing is down right sickening.

Used to be a good game now it’s only money minded. It used to be a good game with good connection between the requirements and task however since its getting updated very often there are too many glitches, things are not even stable and they make changes again. Almost100% of the changes are aligned to make the players buy/in store app purchases. This game has become mostly for the person/players who wants to pay up and get to where he wants. Initially thing’s used to make sense however as time progressed it just doesn’t add up. They just want you to spend money to progress; intentionally slowing down the speed of progress for the players who don’t want to pay. With every update they are trying to do the same, my suggestion don’t invest your time in such a game. Instead find other game out there and safe your energy/time....

The Update Version is Great! But.....!. I recently reinstalled this game app. I do miss playing it, Very nice to see some changes, such as the new runways format is wonderful. As well the Tasks to complete each jobs to collect coins & dollars for free! But the one I still do see is that it’s still a slow game to play! And may required you to buy in real money, stuff to advance. Which I will not do!!!! It takes longer to saved up what you want to update or buy in. Only to reduced back down to free zero coins/dollars. This is one of the reason why I left this game the last time. Either up the free coins/dollars with Job Tasks. Or reduced the cost of things to purchase!! Won’t pay real money at all!!

Poor tech support. When you try to deal with a problem, the app gives you a text application that has you chat with a computer. It gives you a simple answer to your problem in hopes that you will give up... when you press on, you get a response that someone will get with you within a couple hours "there are a lot of people that need help." If they actually would deal with the problem instead of giving soft results in hope that that will satisfy people...then maybe they would have less people needing help. I rarely leave 1 star reviews. In this case I have spent money on an item within the app just to have to spend more money in order to use said item in a timely manner. The app offers the ability to watch ads to speed up that progress, but after watching those ads, there is no result.

Constant updates that don’t happen automatically. The game it’s self started off great. It was fun upgrading everything at first. Now it takes weeks to get enough money to upgrade anything. I don’t understand why every week or two, I need to open up the game for it to update. It takes several minutes to update and you can’t go away from the game or else the update stops. No other app or game I have is like that. I want to hop on, send some planes on trips and go about my day, not have to leave my phone on the game for 10 minutes. Will be deleting soon. Had fun for a bit, now it’s annoying.

Good game but slightly unbalanced. This is a really good game, but it has one slight issue, the coin system. Not that long after you start the game, you begin to have an issue, called a coin shortage. At the time of writing this, I am at level 26, and I don’t have that many coins, because so many things require so many coins, making it nearly impossible to get any more buildings, and even the space costs a lot of coins, and I wouldn’t mind if the secondary currency wasn’t so rare, but it is. This makes it to where I need to not spend any money when I want to get an expensive item.

Fun game but challenging. The game overall is really fun and enjoyable. The part that lacks is the ability to keep up with all the items you unlock as you go. The coin to level up ratio seems off as you can rank up fast but you won’t have enough money to purchased the unlocked items as you go on. The items needed to build or upgrade a building is a fun challenge but the items seem really scarce as you have to do a ton of flights in order to get your items. I wish the ranking up system was harder to rank up with compared to coins being challenging to get. Overall fun game but you cannot keep up with your rank unlock items unless you use real life money to purchase coins or bucks.

Watch video. Get no reward. Consistent problem that I’ve messaged and left reviews about. Watch video to speed something up or get other rewards and you get nothing. It’s constant. And the developer will respond back saying “it’s your internet connection” well obviously not because in the 7 ads I just watched I got no rewards for…Ad wouldn’t play if I wasn’t connected to internet so that blows your theory out of the water. And I closed the game and completely restarted and still didn’t work. Developer getting paid every time we watch an ad but they aren’t giving the rewards. This game is a scam to waste your time and make them money by getting you to watch ads!!! Highly discourage you from playing this game!!!

Still geedy. I downloaded just to see if it has changed after playing a couple years ago. Nothing has really changed, except they charging for even more than back a year or two ago. The greed is just so unimaginable. They reply to many complaints here simply saying that if ya play the game you will succeed. There simply is no way to get far without pumping out a good $100 each month or maybe even more. There needs to be government regulations on all these VIRTUAL games. There should be a cap on how much they can charge people for non existent goods and products. You're paying for “make believe” nonsense that makes these little companies greedy and rich. All they do is hide behind a computer and send out automated emails to your complaints. None of these game have real customer support and i think they need to be shut down, or regulated.

Fun. It’s extremely addictive but yet very simple. The game play can be very slow at times. Unfortunately the game relies very heavily on in app purchases. When you complete flights from planes other than your own, it’s like 6 coins per plane. Now I’m at the point to where to upgrade my runways, it’s 40,000 coins. I stopped playing it just for the fact that it does rely so heavily on in app purchases. I did purchase coins which was very stupid because now I’m at the point to where it will take me an extremely long time to upgrade just one runway. There isn’t enough going on in the game to have that long of stalled game play. The helicopter flights do make good money. But all in all it’s a fun little game. If you have extreme patients.

Patience. There is a long learning curve with this game. It is trial and error. The more successful you become the harder it is to earn rewards. Hold on to your green money ( greenies) and use it to only buy property and only when it is on sale for half off. The game will try to get your greenies for limited bonuses, unnecessary buildings, or speed up time to accomplish something for ridiculous amounts. Greenies are hard to come by hold onto them for land. Occasionally, I will buy greenies, only on sale, to support the game and gain land. Have a strategy, and keep it in mind. Then you will enjoy the game. If you are not prepared to do this then this is not a game for you.

Expensive Pay-To-Play Scheme. I’ve played Airport City of a year or two now and with every update, the game gets slower, buggier, and worse about having to pay real money (and a lot of it - not just $5-10) to advance at all. As others have written, side-stepping payment by watching ads NEVER works. Bad three ways: game company gets the ad revenue, the player gets nothing and wastes time in the vain hope they will. Lastly, the cost of upgrades (how many points/airport dollars, etc) between levels is CRAZY. Quick example: upgrading City Hall from level 4 to 5 cost about 80,000 “coins”, from level 5 to level 6 costs 180,000. It takes FOREVER to earn that many coins -unless you buy them with real cash. Steer clear and save your money - I think there are a lot faster-paced, more engaging games in the App Store that don’t try to empty players’ wallets so brazenly.

Has potential to be one of the best games out there BUT. This has the potential to be one of the best games out there but it’s too expensive. At first when I was getting 50 coins for one flight it was fine because the stuff that you can purchase in the game was $100 or $200 so ok thats fine. Now I’m at level 18 and still getting $50-$100 coins from flights and such, but everything I need to proceed in the game is $50,000 coins or more. It’s ridiculous and mind numbing to have to play for a whole week to save up for something you need. I can tell I’m loosing interest and will probably quit playing it soon. If they changed that one thing it could be one of the best games around. The little grocery store that earns 1 coin is a joke. Not even worth clicking on it to get the one little measly coin. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Fun but frustrating. The game is fun, but the price of items quickly skyrockets. I can deal with the grind of making the coins to buy expensive items, but most buildings to upgrade or new buildings start requiring large quantities of multiple “special other items” that all “seldom” appear meaning everything grinds to a halt unless you pay. I’d watch ads to get these items, and you can do that sometimes. But you can only do that about 5 times before it reverts to paying for them. I know they’re trying to make money on the app but you make the game impossible to play for those that don’t want to spend a fortune on a phone game.

About to lose a long-time player. I have played this game for years. When it’s working, it can be fun. I made it to the highest level (80) without spending a dime. Maybe that’s why I can’t get any help from tech support. Watching ads for rewards is the only way to advance if you’re not willing to spend real cash, and for the last several months there have been no rewards for watching the ads. Repeated notices to tech support have been a waste of time; they get forwarded to “research” and the issue isn’t ever resolved. While I haven’t sent them cash I have helped with their ad views. Patience has about run out. Fix the issues and make up for all of the rewards that players have been cheated out of, or I’m done.

Cars? Really?. I’ve enjoyed this game thoroughly but when you put unnecessary things like cars when you have a huge problem with watching ads that don’t render the item, I think your priorities are out of whack. When you send planes out for their weekly flight and when they return you collect them but the counter for the alliance missions does not register, or if it does, it then disappears when you resend that plane out you may need to look at something else besides putting cars on this game. I love spending some money every pay period on this game but when you don’t fix problems that are there and insert meaningless graphics, that’s gonna keep me from buying anything in the future.

Designed to fail without paying actual money. Income is too low and expenses are way too high to last very long. I am only level 12 and had to start refusing Hawk planes because I was nowhere close to the 15,000 gold needed to upgrade just one runway. And yet our flights only bring in 35 to 80 gold per flight, guest planes a handful of gold. I like a challenge but not with this serious imbalance. Either bump up profits or cut down on the cost of expansion. I thought I had finally found a game that could last but the appeal is already waning. It would take days to accumulate enough for just one runway while other “demands” just keep piling up. Need a weather station, need upgraded maintenance building, new terminal and stand. The list goes on, tens of thousands of gold, with no way to earn that much through the game itself.

Unloading takes so long now. I opened the app after an upgrade and I’m literally going on half an hour waiting for it to load. And I’m not even half way through the load. Then you have to keep the app open to complete it. If it closes for an extended amount of time the load starts all over. Load time now is very slow. Also like the other person said you don’t make enough money to purchase things for upgrades.

This games is designed for you to pay $$$$. I enjoy playing the game BUT it’s getting way too pricey!! It seems in order to enjoy, you have to pay. I caught myself literally spending over $100 dollars “buying airport bucks/coins... Ridiculous I know” within a two weeks time frame just to upgrade the buildings which is overly EXPENSIVE..., only to need another upgrade of the same building a week later which is even more EXPENSIVE!!! The reason why I won’t delete this game because, I spent over $300 bucks to get to level 26 out of 80 levels!!!!

Won’t give you items. Love the game it’s different than most out there but I won’t buy packs for several reasons -You don’t get your items after watching a 30 second video. If the game offers free item to get a construction or event item and you watch the video they get paid by the advertising action but the player is screwed. -Insane gold costs for land. Flying planes don’t get you a lot of gold and you can’t put down buildings when you’re paying so much for a tiny piece of land. -Visual issue -when a plane takes off it moves then stops then moves again. I hate it. -Collection drops - I have at least 8 pieces of a collection and more and yet it won’t drop 1 item, even after 15 levels no drop, it’s a quest, and completing it would give me a building. -TOO MANY COMPONENTS FOR CONSTRUCTION! - so many pieces needed for buildings to complete but the items rarely drops, watching a 30 sec video should give you an item but it doesn’t work as mentioned above and I’m not paying for cash to but the items for 2 cash each and the coin takes days to earn. -No way to communicate with alliance members - boring So much potential but it’s all about money for devs taking away relaxing playability for the users. Hubby already uninstalled.

Too much for little value. The price to build your airport keeps going up as you progress in levels, yet when making purchases for coins and cash the values don’t match the rising costs. Have to spend way more than you think. Also, when upgrading your buildings, you then have to go find extra items to make the upgrade go in effect which can be trying to find a needle in the haystack when sending your planes to find these extra items. Often times you won’t get them from flights until after you already get them through watching ads. I get they are trying to make a profit but there’s little motivation to keep growing when it gets too costly.

Fun at first, then gets expensive. This game starts out well for this style of play. You climb a few levels rapidly as you would expect, unlock new content with ease but then after about 30 minutes of playing you get to a point where you have to decide whether you want to spend real money to keep progressing at a rate that makes the game fun; or wait weeks between unlocking the content that is “free” but requires a ridiculous amount of game currency (based on how slow it accumulates). When you unlock the first few pieces of land it seems like it won’t be too bad to save up for however, once you unlock the first two pieces the price starts going up rapidly. Suffering once again due to a lack of incoming currency. TL/DR: expect to spend a lot of money or advance in the game at an EXTREMELY slow pace.

Great Game?!?!. I find this game to be enjoyable except for one thing. The GREED of the developers!!!! It is almost impossible to buy items that are need or upgrade to be able to have better planes, airport, etc. without having to spend REAL money. I understand that they want to make money but make it a bit easier to advance in the game!!!! I am sure that if the players were able to make purchases in game without using real cash there would be a lot more players playing the game much longer. At first I really enjoyed the game but now that I’m trying to be able to land level 4 planes it’s nearly impossible to get the coins needed to upgrade the runways, the control tower, terminals, or land expansions to be able to place better buildings to get said coins!!! I really would like to see you guys make it a little easier to upgrade etc.... You’d have a lifelong player here if so.

Amazing!. This game is so addicting I’ve been playing it for a month now and it’s nothing like other tycoon games. There is so many different things you can do in it. Like you build buildings to get more passengers. And you can upgrade your airport to make it fit more passengers. You can also you can’t get stuck and not have enough money. Cause you can land guest planes at your airport for money and the guest planes come frequently. You can also generate fuel instead for f just buying it. These are some of the reasons that I like this game.

Great game but....... I understand that making us wait for things to develop likely will encourage us to buy things. However, you should adjust the settings so that we can earn coins more quickly. I’m starting to get bored with the game to the point that I may delete the app and move to another similar game. Overall....pretty good game. But need to be able to build more quickly. It took nearly a week to upgrade my town hall. And on top of it, I have to find items to make this happen. This is on top of already taking a year and a day to collect the coins to upgrade this in the first place. Thank lease fix this or I will stop playing and others will definitely follow.

Pretty good game. It's a pretty good game that has good daily rewards and gives players a great head start. At first I played this game all the time but as you get further into the game the harder it gets to get things if you don't pay. I got stuck on a ton of missions because it takes so long to gather coins to buy land and be able to build. I will say compared to other games it is easier to "earn" the other currencies unlike other games I've played like this where the only way to get the other money is to pay for it. In some of the ads I saw it looked like there would be mini games of some sort but never actually encountered them.

Okay gameplay, money hungry developers. The gameplay itself is quite fun and the look and basic idea of the game is great. However, they make it almost impossible to advance in the game without spending money. For example, when you get to the point to update your Control Tower to Level 3, it requires a ridiculous amount of extremely rare items. To get the items you enter this endless loop of needing to fly multiple routes, but you can’t fly them efficiently because you need more planes. How do you get more planes? Update the control tower! I understand the need for developers to make money, especially a game like this that is beautifully designed. But they’ve created almost no option to play this game for free. Bummer.

Fun but slow game. It is a fun game, it keeps me entertained. My only real issue is that you can’t automate anything. When you are not playing, in progress flights and building/upgrades continue but when it comes time to collect money or passengers, you have to be playing in order to collect. This makes money and passenger gains very slow. Also, the amount of money you get for things is low. Between these two things, it takes hours on end to buy basic things. The other issue is that some flights require items that require flights to obtain, which are not always guaranteed. So you may have to fly 2-4 times to get an object to make the flight you wanted for progress.

Impossible to play unless you spend lots of money. It quickly becomes apparent that if you want to advance in this game you have to spend money. They make upgrades depend on game bucks that trickle in over days so if you want to move forward you have to buy them. You can’t expand unless you spend money or wait days because everything is so intertwined and costs money to accomplish. Example. If you want to go beyond level 1 airplanes you have to buy bucks or wait days if not weeks to get what is needed. I bought the bucks. Now I can’t get beyond the next level without spending more. Could be fun but in its current form, not without spending lots of money. No thanks.

They acted like they’d do it. The last guy was spot on. The coin earnings for the flights are not just unbalanced, but extremely annoying to the degree where your mad at the developers because it almost feels like an agenda to spend real money to get coins. This makes the whole game experience lack. The game developers responded and said they would change it to the last guy back in November of last year, here it is almost a year later and still no change. Do not buy this app....yet.... I plan on making another review if they fix it, because if they do, it will be great.

If you don’t pay, you don’t advance. I’ve been playing this game for years now. At first I was happy to give money to the developers because the game kept getting better and better so I kept buying coins and dollars to help rank up. Since I’ve stopped doing that I haven’t completed a single special episode or been able to rank up my runway/buildings because the items I need are “rarely ever dropped” and by “rarely” they mean maybe never or once in the 10 days the event is going on. Even if you are constantly sending flights or checking building. The algorithm that determines this needs to be changed because I find myself playing this game less and less because there is no point to play the special events when you have to basically pay to complete them.

Airport City. I really enjoy this game. I’ve been playing about 6 months now and I really can’t get enough of it. I think the prices of some of the buildings and upgrades are a bit much. The time it takes to earn the coins because of the prices seems a little one sided tho. But hey it’s a game that is full of choices. We pay for anything else we want in life, the same principal applies here. Not complaining just saying. But overall I still love this game. I can get off work and play for hours. It relaxes me.

Fun game, just wayyyyyy tooooo slow!!. I really enjoyed playing this game at first, and actually still do (but probably not much longer!). My problem is, as others have mentioned, as you progress in the game, it takes way too long to earn enough money to purchase things (land, new planes, upgrades, helicopters, etc.). Even with constantly playing, it takes at least a couple of days to earn enough money to purchase anything. It appears that the only way to advance would be to spend real money...something I’m not willing to do. Developers - it would be great if you would make some revisions to allow us to actually make some progress without having to spend money!!

Fun at first but very expensive. When I first downloaded this game I ignored the reviews complaining about the cost to play. I am patient and can usually make it through games without being tempted to buy coins/gems, etc. With this game you cannot get far before there is really no choice but to spend money. Although it is fun, I regret downloading it because I ended up spending $50 just to keep going. There really is no alternative - either stop playing or spend money. And it doesn’t take long to get to that point. Ironically, the more you advance in levels the less there is to do. Plane flights take so long you are basically sending off your planes and checking back hours later (sometimes 8). I’ve started another game and I just check in with this one here and there.

Great concept ruined by greed. As he title says the concept of the game is great and it could be a lot of fun but as usual the desperation for money by the creator ruins it. From the very start everything costs coin and to get your airport from absolute basics of level 1 to level 2 you need at least 5,000 coins and you only make 5-25 coin per flight, which each flight needs fuel and passengers which you accrue based on a long timer with various other things bringing you to a halt as well… but of course you can bypass all the long waits with large sines of real money to buy it, so unless you plan to spend some serious money it will take forever to make any small feel of progression. It really is unfortunate because again the co cent of the game would be fun and interesting otherwise

Made unnecessary difficult to actually play as intended. Decent game. But extremely hard to want to keep playing it when the “events” are nearly impossible to complete. Your flights almost never stop the items you need to complete a collection once, add in you need to complete those collections 3 times on average for the event. You need to complete those collections to get buildings for the event, which again can’t be done with how rare the items are drops. Then you have to visit those same event buildings at your neighbors, but they are struggling with the same lack of dropped items so you can’t complete that either.

Unfair gameplay...don’t download. I spent real money on this game and didn’t mind because it was my choice. The game is enjoyable but becomes unfair and frustrating when you can no longer compete fairly with other players due to item limits placed on newer players. Certain flights require “flight items” in order to take-off and newer players are limited to keeping only 100 of these items in their warehouse. Other players have no limit so when a task comes up requiring over 100 items to succeed the newer player is placed at a clear disadvantage. After spending money and progressing through the game only to be stopped by unfair practices I am now done. Save yourself the time, money and frustration and don’t even download this game.

Way Too Expensive. I’ve already been playing nonstop for a week straight since I first got the game. I can already notice that the game is pay-to-win. Everything costs so much gold in game and it’s set up to where only the real money cash currency would help you progress much faster. It’s a shame that the game has to be like this, it would be much more fun if the currency wasn’t as hard to get and as forceful with regards to in-app purchases. This is why supercell is superior to companies like this: Yes, they have in-app purchases & people will pay for them. But the game isn’t reliant upon it, therefore people keep playing and they have long-term players that will progressively spend money, making a fortune for supercell. This game has so much potential, but due to the broken currency system, I’m uninstalling after playing just around a week. Back to supercell.

Want to learn patience, then this game is for you!. It’s a fun game with lots of challenges but unfortunately you’re never going to be able to beat them all! Everything costs an extreme amount of money especially after you get to the higher levels instead of just growing your empire you end up paying millions of dollars for one building and then not having the supplies to build the building. You can manufacture the things for your helicopters to fly but not for your airplanes that is also very frustrating! I played this game for four years now and can honestly say unless you spend money you’re never going to finish in any event better than top 30.

Extremely disappointed!. If I could rate this game negatively, I would. I’ve been playing this game for a while now and have spent money on packages within the game. All of a sudden my account is “blocked by the system because of changes in game data that were unfair to other players” I didn’t know that spending my own money to not only further my progress in the game but to also support a game that I had much joy in playing was unfair to other players. Everyone has the same options in the game that I have. I don’t understand. I’ve contacted support and all they can tell me is that the only way I can play is to start a completely NEW game and lose ALL of my progress and money invested. It’s bulls&$! Don’t waste your time, trust me

I GIve Up. I played it for a couple weeks; however, it very shortly began to take way too long to be able to collect needed resources for upgrading, building, and expanding. I reached a point where I could play for about five minutes and then I would have to sit and wait for what seemed hours to do anything. I have better things to do with my time and there are better games to play that are more engaging/interactive. If you would lower the resources needed to expand and build, you would retain more people thereby increasing your potential to earn real money or your potential to get advertisers to invest in the game. This seems a common complaint since at least December 2018, so I assume you have no interest in retaining players. Good luck remaining viable!

Forced to stop playing. I used to love to play this game. The game crashed and would not load at all. I had to reinstall the app and I contacted the tech support which took them almost 6 hrs to respond to my email. I did what they asked and still nothing was recovered. This is a waste of time. You can not use the game on more than one device either at the same time. I tried several times to recover my game and to no ends nothing would bring it back to where I was at tech support will not help you either. Very disappointed with this app now. Support will not fix the issue either.

This Could Be One of the Best. The concept of this game is amazing. There is so much potential, the graphics are great, the moving parts are realistic, everything seems beautiful and so fun... until you begin to see how expensive it is. I’m positive this company would make way more money by lowering the prices of their in app purchases. I understand that IAP’s are necessary for the developers to make a living, but I have never played a game where in game currency costs as much real money as it does in this game. It’s sad and seems greedy. The game becomes unenjoyable because of how much of a grind it would be to make even any progress. I wish the in app purchases would be updated to be less expensive and include more in game value because as of now, this game is a rip-off once you get passed level 13.

Great game but if you don’t spend actual money, don’t play past level 10. I really enjoy the game but you really don’t earn enough coins for flights to advance. On top of that I’ve watched many adds to try and speed things up and seem to rarely get the reward. If this continues I’m not sure I’ll continue playing. It’s too much work to try to get a simple building upgraded that is required for the progress of my town & airport. As I said before I really enjoy the game but I feel that improvements on earning coins could be made. And the adds should actually give you rewards when they say they will.

Not worth your time. Everything all the other posts say about it being a requirement spend lots of real money to achieve any progress in a reasonable amount of time, is 100% accurate. I understand games using the spending of real money to speed up progress, but the game should be somewhat entertaining and fun without spending lots of money. That can be debated though, I understand the value in paying for something to get something, it’s not free to make these games. However, that’s where ads come into play. My biggest issue is with the unreliability of the platform. Three times now my game is stuck on the loading page, which caused me to delete the app and reinstall, which lost my progress, and the money I spent. I have had no help at all with recovery. Feels like a scam.

Coins are hard to come by.. This is a fun game but you have to spend way to much time harvesting coins. If the buildings could collect automatically or stack so that when you go to collect your not just getting the singular coin rate. For example the Eatery is 1coin/30 second...currently you only get 1 coin when you click it regardless of how many 30 second loops have gone by. You could put a 24 hour cap on the buildings, also the amount of ads to help shorten time or find missing construction items is lacking. Also the rewards for guest flights is very lacking. A owl reward was 6 coins while the bigger lvl 3 plane Hawk is only 7. But the cost to upgrade the runway is 15K coins. If the coin collection and plane rewards were reconfigured this game could be better

Aggressive money grab. I don't begrudge app makers the opportunity to make money, in fact I've never understood people who expect apps to be free, but this game is just over the top in the money grab department. With each level the chances to generate Airport Cash seems to be less and less, and the upgrading of buildings requires "special items" which drop on flights only "seldom" or "very seldom." The whole game rigs to spending real money, which is fine for those who want to accelerate their progress, but to so severely restrict your ability to grow without spending $10-$30 is crazy! And like I said, it is clear that the costs only go up from here: Land prices, building upgrades get exponentially more expensive. I love the game itself, it's a shame it is so aggressively skewed to profit. Wish there could be a better balance between money and fun.

Game broken since last update. This is the first review I've ever left for any app in my 10 years of using an iPhone. Never felt a need until now. I've been playing casually and having fun with this game for a couple months, but recently it got buggy, started freezing, crashing, and since the last update I get a "server connection error" every time I open the app. I would give it more than one star if not for the fact that when I contacted support I got one response ("update the app") and then haven't heard anything in over a week now. It's unfortunate that I have to leave a one-star review as my first ever review, especially for a game that I've been enjoying, but with the unplayable state of my game and the unwillingness of the company to help resolve my issue, I have no other choice.
