BEST IOS Game!. I can’t stand most IOS games! In app purchases ruin everything for me. I’ve actually wonder why Nintendo hasn’t woken up to reality and allowed us download old games, but all that aside this one is AMAZING! I will full heartedly say this is best mobile game I’ve ever played. The game is simple, yet challenging. The visuals, the controls and how the games flows is far better than any other mobile game I’ve played. The only downside... I couldn’t stop playing this game and unlocked everything in a few days.

Beautiful. This game was very well made with fun puzzles, beautiful graphics, and easy to learn mechanics. Lara Croft Go is a game that anyone can play and enjoy. Each puzzle immerses you into gorgeous scenery and smooth gameplay. Every challenge is met with a satisfying solution that makes you want to keep going. I constantly found myself playing for 20+ minutes without even trying. Theres only two things i have against it. 1. It was too short. I finished the game with every outfit unlocked in less than five days. 2. The puzzles were too easy except for the last two books. In my opinion they should have made the levels more challenging or add a few more challenging books. If you are thinking of buying this game, I recommend getting the bundle this game comes with. $5 in my opinion was too much for how little content there was.

Paywall for Hints. This game really captures the beauty of iPhone games. It’s a beautiful game, and it’s a great game for quick play if you only have a couple minutes to squeeze in a level as I do, which is what mobile games were always meant to be: quick, easy entertainment. My only issue is that there’s a paywall in front of the hints. Some of the puzzles are challenging, but instead of only allowing a limited amount of hints per puzzle, the game requires you to pay $2.99 to receive “walkthroughs for all levels.” I don’t want the hint to tell me exactly what to do, I just want a gentle nudge in the right direction when I’m lost. Otherwise, great game!

Please fix this bug!!!!. I redownloaded this game after years of beating it. When I got to the cave of fire level 5 it became unbeatable. I saw another person talking about the bug with trying to kill the fire lizard and the game crashes. It still does. They made that review in October 2023. Please fix this bug! I want to complete all the puzzles it’s a super fun game and nostalgic.

Late to the party. I discovered the gem of a game a little late or rather I did think it was going to be any good. I played Hitman Go and wasn’t too impressed because it didn’t capture the true essence of the original game. So decided to give this game a try and it’s completely different fully interactive and visually pleasing. The puzzles aren’t too challenging but still decent to pass the time away.

More outfits. I love the game and I’m a HUGE fan of Tomb Raider I’ve played all of the games. This game is perfect but I feel like there should be more outfits, it would make the game even more fun. Outfits like Legend, Angel of Darkness, and the Tomb Raider 3 Antartica outfit. The outfits from the Tomb Raider Legend series made the games even more fun and I think that should be added into this game. It would be even more awesome if the outfits from Legend were added like the biker outfit and Lara’s athletic Croft Manor outfit, it would just make it more interesting. If you guys could do that it would be awesome! Thank you love the game(s)!

Really good game!. This game is super fun and I’ve played through it a couple of times, but the last time I played there is strange bug. During the Cave of Fire adventure, whenever I kill a lizard, the game crashes. The rest of the game plays perfectly. I really hope you can fix this bug.

Great Addition to the Tomb Raider Series. The puzzles are fun and challenging. Even though I could take my time, the enemies and obstacles added a sense of urgency that made the game more fun. My only complaint was the hidden treasures in the levels; some felt obscurely hidden, which turned searching for them into a touch-everywhere-on-the-screen game until you find them. That didn’t really detract from the fun though. If you love puzzles, this is definitely a must have.

Crashes on almost every level. I don’t know how this game became editors choice with the poor quality that it is. At some point in the game almost every level I play crashes the game. I had this happen so many times that I stopped playing as this is not pleasant to play anymore. The game itself would be great if not for this annoying problem. Company like Square Enix should not release games like this and need to have better QE.

Amazing game, annoying bug. I’ve been playing this game for years and it’s one of the best games I’ve ever played. I recently purchased it again after not having played it in a few years and it’s been amazing, but I cam across an unfortunate bug! Whenever I kill a fire salamander, the game crashes. I hope this can be fixed!

Surprising and Engaging. This board-game style take on Tomb Raider game is surprisingly engaging. Lara Croft GO's simple graphics harken bark to the character's original adventures without seeming dated. Its puzzles are challenging, but never frustrating. The touchscreen controls work pretty well. The game, while not tied to any particular continuity, is filled with subtle nods to Tomb Raider games past. I'm particularly fond of the familiar sound vases make when you break them, as well as Lara's signature handstand ledge climb technique. Lara Croft GO is a great mobile game which deserves every single award it's ever won.

Nice casual puzzles. It doesn’t have combat, but it gives you a pleasant and casual tomb raider experience on the go. In my opinion, the puzzles are better than the reboot trilogy, making it feel like a more authentic experience. It can be annoying when you misclick and go the wrong way. For the price, I think there could be more to it. Especially because it comes with the alternate costumes on PS4 for the same price.

Love it!. It has been a while since I’ve enjoyed a game this much! I like casual games; games that you can put down and pick up whenever you want without the need to finish a level; games that are simple enough to understand so that you don’t need a tutorial to play. This is one such game. Plus, the graphics are incredible. The puzzles are challenge, yet not frustrating. And it has become my favorite game on my iPhone. I hope they make a sequel!

Sudden glitches?. I’ve played this game a number of times since I bought it a few years (?) ago. I enjoy it and it’s a fun way to pass some time when I can’t concentrate on other things. That being said - the last time I reset the game to play again, I got to “Cave of Fire”, #5 “A Restless Chase” and anytime I kill the lizard, the game force closes and I can’t proceed any further. I’ve updated the game, deleted and reinstalled, everything - and still it does this every time. I’m super bummed I can’t continue. I’ve tried contacting customer support but I think they misunderstood what I was asking about and directed me somewhere else.

Relaxing, Meditative Adventure. This is one of my all-time favorite games I have ever played. Sure you have Legend of Zelda, Assassin’s Creed, and Skyrim, but this one stands out. Though this is just a simple puzzle game that doesn’t necessarily fit into the Tomb Raider canon, it captures the feel of the saga beautifully. The sense of mystery that lurks around every corner is just as present here as it is in the original Tomb Raider games. I highly recommend this one even if you aren’t familiar with the saga. Please make a sequel!

Please help!!! (UPDATED). UPDATE! They fixed it!!! Thank you all so much for bothering! I’ve been replaying this game for years. I put it aside and forget enough to start over. But after the last update, the game crashes on the “Cave of Fire” chapter on level 5, “A Restless Chase” every time you kill a fire lizard. I skipped to the next level to see if it was just a glitch there, but it happed on level 6 too. So I reinstalled and reset and started the game from the beginning, but same thing on L5 of CoF. “Mirror of Spirits” seems to be working. I know this is an old game but it remains a favorite and would love to see that section fixed. Thanks! (Some new chapters would be pretty great too.)

Wonderful yes, very wonderful. Truly a marvelous game, if you want to have a fun and yet challenging mobile puzzle game this is the game to play. The best part is: there is no ads. The only thing that I would recommend to be added is a level editor where you could create your own levels. This would really spark curiosity among users and would improve the greatness of this game even more. All in all, it is one of the best games out there, it is good for all ages, (I showed it to my grandsons when they were 7 and they still loved it just as much as I did) You should definitely give it a go.

RECOMMENDED HIGHLY!!!!. okay so I’ve had this game forever and I highly recommend it. The graphics are beautiful and I could play each puzzle over and over again and never get bored. I just really wish there were even more levels. I love how you can customize the character and fight mobs and wow I just love this game!!♥️♥️♥️

TombRaider <3. I encourage anyone who enjoys single player games to play this amazing game. It is fun and has many puzzles. I have been playing this for just an hour and many times I’ve died lol. Y’all finally did something just right by making this game with an original TombRaider SOUL. Very happy gamer and so much to explorer, die ,and start over LOL. <3 peace

This is the way you make a puzzle game. Coming from the original game, playing the “GO” version will obviously not get you what you expected. There’s a bunch of reviews expressing dissatisfaction because of this. These are puzzle games; they take a certain combination of thought processes spanning both right and left brain. Addictive isn’t quite the word; for something to be addictive it requires that you must have more and more of it for the same effect, and produces an undesirable effect in ones life. MtG cardboard crack is addictive. This game is more of a tool for your brain like a composer is to an orchestra. Using one mode of thought to search for hidden objects, another to put the logic together building your path and yet another to find a creative solution, your brain is effectively exercised along the way and reward centers of your brain light up - a dopamine hit I haven’t gotten in years. But there aren’t the drawbacks here as with the original Tomb Raider; where poor timing on a tedious task, failed for the thousandth time sent a PS one controller flying across the room in frustration.

Chill play while mentally engaging. I was looking for something to turn to during down time that was mentally engaging but also relaxed. This has fit the bill perfectly. No time limits and unlimited lives. I can go back and forth between -whatever- and come back to enjoy the music and gameplay. I love that I can move the character by swiping anywhere on my screen. That is a GREAT FEATURE. I sometimes swipe accidentally, but with no time limit or lives cost, it doesn’t phase me. I purchased the bundle pack because I understand the other games are just as awesome.

GAME BROKEN. DON'T BUY IT!. Game crashes ... dead after Apple updated to newer iOS VERSION a couple years ago and the developers haven't been able to fix or don't want to fix the issues. Emailed to tech support with no answers nor results. Huge disappointment... 👎👎👎👎👎 Update 2024: still crashed level Cave of Fire when killing lizard. DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS GAME. SCAM.

Go lara!. Just finished the game. High quality in almost all areas and I really enjoyed it. Thank you guys for making it free during this tough times. It made my past few days slightly better and I appreciate that. Definitely the number 1 in games and the only one I consider deserve to be in 5 star tier.

Enjoyable, but not immersive. If you make a wrong move, the level takes a moment to reload. It’s not a big deal, but Hitman GO can reload levels instantly. Another odd thing is that you can swipe to move one square, but you can’t tap anywhere to interact with levers in your current square. So you can’t just use your thumb in a corner of the screen, you have to reach over to Lara when a lever needs to be pulled. Otherwise, the game is good so far.

Console/PC gamer. As someone who typically hates mobile games, it’s awesome to see games like this start to make a name for mobile games. I know it’s been out for a while and others from the GO series have also been released but man better late than never. Plays great and looks stunning on both my iPhone 7 Plus and iPad Pro, especially on the iPad Pro. I’m just blown away and it’s only 99 cents. My only gripe, nit pick, is that when you go fast the animations aren’t fluid, the characters just skip around in an unnatural way which breaks the immersion a bit. I look forward to more games from the Tomb Raider GO series. 5/5

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this game:) :) :). Every Tombraider fan should play this game. Sure there's simplicity when it comes to the action but the puzzles and locations make up for it. I give this game a 10/10. I was skeptical to try this game but I'm glad I spent the $4.99. So worth it:) One happy customer. I hope there will be more Tombraider games like this in the future.

Jungle Adventure‼️🐍. This epic journey takes place in a serpent jungle filled with various venomous creatures with hidden treasures throughout. This game is huge! The first chapter introduces you to navigation. All of the collectible treasures are in plain sight and easy to find. 🏺 The second chapter introduces the first enemy, a snake. 🐍 The treasures will require some effort to find. As you continue to play, further chapters will introduce many things and abilities, some of which require proper planning and timing of your movements. As you advance throughout the game, the treasures will be more hidden, making them more challenging to find. As you unlock the various treasures, you also unlock various outfits that Lara can wear. I find myself switching it up to a different outfit every time I play. A few tricks I discovered: ↓ It is possible to attack a snake from one node facing you: 1. When you are climbing up from below 2. When you step on a switch that causes the snake to get hit 3. When you are holding a spirit torch To defeat a Blood Salamander: ↓ 1. When climbing a wall with a crack when being followed by a salamander, once you crack the wall going up (or down), immediately reverse direction and you will backflip behind the salamander where you can attack from behind. 🦎 The sound effects and animations are on another level. 🤩 This game has officially become my favorite game of all time! 🥰 It only takes just over 1½ hours to complete from start to finish when you become an expert like me. I love this game and you will too! 🥰 Rating: 5/5 Conclusion: Perfect Recommended: Yes 👍🏼 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Glitch. I've played through the whole game on my tablet and the game went smoothly with no glitches and I really enjoyed it but I got to one of the new adventures, The Cave of Fire: A Restless Chase 5 and 11 moves into the level when I tap to kill the lizard the game glitches and takes me out of the game entirely. I tried to play again and it did the same thing so I thought the app needed updates but it didn’t so I downloaded the game on my phone and played through the whole game again and it only glitches on that one level 11 moves into the game when I go to kill the lizard like it does every other time, so I played three more times and the game has been glitching exactly the same time, every time, when I tried about six times.

Makes turn-based puzzles exciting!. Turn-based puzzles means there’s never any urgency, yet the great graphics and sound make the dangers Lara Croft faces somehow seem more immediate. Puzzles range from simple to fiendishly complex but are all eventually solvable. Gems hidden in the background of levels provide decent replay value, as you’re bound to miss some the first time through when focused on puzzle solving. By the time you go back to collect them all, you’ll be surprised how difficult it can be to remember the convoluted solution to trickier puzzles. An engrossing game well worth the price (and much more entertaining than Hitman Go or Deus X Go from the same developer, IMO).

I’ve been a huge fan of Lara Croft GO since day one, and I’m thrilled to see the developers finally fix the game-breaking bug in Level 5, “The Cave of Fire.” 🔥🎮 Thank you SO much for listening to the feedback and making this incredible game even better! This game is an absolute masterpiece. The puzzles are clever, the visuals are stunning, and the atmosphere is so immersive it feels like you’re right there with Lara on her adventure. 🏹🌄 The attention to detail and the way the game balances challenge and fun is just perfect. I was so frustrated when I hit that bug in Level 5, but now that it’s fixed, I can confidently say this is one of the best mobile games out there. Awesome. I was skeptical at first being an original Tomb Raider fanatic but this game lives up to the legend. It took a little getting used to the movement controls but once I played a few levels it became easy. I had to go back and replay levels to find the hidden jewels because I was so focused on problem solving that I forgot to look for them but the game makes it easy to do so and not lose your forward progress. I will be sad when I finish; don’t want it to end. I happened to stumble upon this game during a free week but would gladly pay for it and/ or a sequel!

First game I downloaded in years. The ambiance of this unique puzzle game was very surprising to me. From the music to the sound effects to the fluid movements and crisp animation, this game is a must for anyone who loves challenge. While not terribly difficult, the “aha” moments will have you smiling and feeling accomplished. I’ve been a huge fan of Tomb Raider since the first game on PS1 in 1996! This game really makes me feel nostalgic.

Love people who put real effort in their games. This game is awesome. Every level is so well-thought out. They figure what a person may do to solve it and then flip it. That’s true puzzle-making. There’s always this something in almost every puzzle that makes it seem that the person (or people) who created the puzzle is (are) a complete genius. The creators must really love this game, because it shows.

Really fun, strategic game! Worth it.. Really fun, strategic game. Having a confused blast! The outfits and hints are worth paying for. Despite using the hints, to better learn the game, I don’t recall them well, which makes the game challenging going thru it again. I am so focused on getting thru the mazes, that I keep forgetting to look for the treasures. One of the very best games I have played in a long time. Love the endless lives. Teases my brain.

A wonderful game with a game breaking bug.. Lara Croft Go is a game I have played through to completion twice over the years. It is a lovely puzzle game with enjoyable puzzles, lovely graphics, and an enjoyable amount of story for a puzzle game that could have easily gotten away with none. However, in a recent update, the fifth level of the fire caves DLC has made the entire book unbeatable. If you kill the fire lizard, the game crashes. Because you must kill the lizard to beat the puzzle, the book is unbeatable. It is a shame that such a well crafted game that did not have this issue years ago now has this issue. Once this issue is resolved, I can full heartedly recommend this game, but until then, I cannot.

Quality puzzle gaming. I just finished Lara Croft GO including thw special levels and had to write a review about the completely free , no ad experience . Fantastic puzzles , sounds and music . I will be buying the other titles Hitman and Deus Ex without even trying them because of the great game i just played. I have not been the biggest fan of SE in the past but I hope this is the gaming model of the future , thank you Square Enix.

Love the Game want more!. This game was so awesome I want to create my own puzzles Please make a sandbox mode, I know that one Go game in the past (a cyber punk) was indeed sandbox I got confused with its triangle format. Is one is simple squares so that shouldn’t be a problem also to publish a level make it so a person has to finish the puzzle successfully first. That way all puzzles published are solvable and even better you don’t have to come up with puzzles as your fan base (me included) would be making puzzles all the time. Even better is that the Game makes all the mechanisms nonverbal so no swearing ever. God bless you.

Greatest iOS game of all time, negated by game-breaking bug. I have been playing this game for years and I keep coming back for another full play-through. The graphics, soundtrack, game mechanics, Croft’s animations, the interesting and diverse number of enemies, the difficulty of the puzzles, the thought behind making each level, even the game’s aura - it is without a doubt, a downright masterpiece. To the devs - BRAVO. This is how legends in the industry are made. And with all that being said, it’s completely destroyed and forgotten because of a game-breaking bug. A bug, that has in fact been unfixed for at least a year now. If you are reading this, I’m sure you’ve seen many other reviews claiming the same. It’s 100% true. What blows my mind is how this game can still be available for purchase on the App Store when it’s literally unplayable once you get to “The Cave of Fire.” No matter what level you play in this chapter, if you kill a fire lizard, the game instantly crashes. What’s worse is you cannot complete the levels requiring the player to kill fire lizards. Game. Breaking. Salt in the wound is you better believe you can still make in-app purchases for Croft skins… I bought this game. And like anyone who decides to purchase a game off the App Store, you enter into a law-abiding contract with the game dev. That agreement confirms your ability to play it, not just through its entirety, but as many times as you see fit. Square Enix has broken that contract. This is my game that I purchased from you. And the fact that I can’t play it means I am entitled to a full refund. I hold the App Store complicit as well - why are you allowing a broken game to be purchased from your store? Apple must be somewhat liable as well. I encourage others who have bought this game to do the same - demand a full refund for the reason Square Enix has not held up to their side of the contractual agreement made upon purchase of this game.

Faithful Classic w/ complex challenges. This is by far the best game I've played on my iPhone. I love the Tomb Raider series and have played most of them. Lara Croft Go is more than a loving tribute; while the iconic sounds, classic Lara garb, and signature Lara acrobatics warmly announced the return of an old friend, the purely puzzle gameplay is refreshingly new and increasingly challenging - i found the puzzles in the last several books/chapters to be far from trivial! The world design, style of art, sound affects, creature design, and story arch faithfully captured and preserved (throughout game play) the feel of the original games - I savored every moment.... Great Job!

The greatest, most perfect game. Not that I'm looking for any, but honestly every game has some negatives even if they are minor. But in this one, I really cannot find a one. It's challenging, and gets difficult but not impossible. But even if you can't figure a level out, the game has that covered too. It's like a board game but with what looks like a real tiny person(thank you, by the way, for making it a women). On top of that it is so realistic that I almost cringe when she gets bitten or caught by the snakes". But my favorite is when she climbs using a handstand, or when she has to move a lever on the side of the wall with her leg. This is truly the greatest game I've ever played on any iPad. Besides that this is the ONLY game in which I do not find the music irritating. In fact, I ALWAYS turn all game music off; except for this one. Now make more levels, bring more similar games, just don't give up on your fans guys. You're doing a fantastic job. CONTINUE PLEASE. I LOVE THIS GAME. Thank you, pure genius this is, truly.

A gorgeous, challenging puzzle game. Lara Croft GO hooked me immediately with its atmospheric sound design, scenic environments, and its puzzles that feel on par with console and PC games in the genre. The difficulty curve hits that sweet spot where each level is a step up from the last in terms of challenge- enough to really push the player to think smarter, but not so difficult that it becomes aggravating. Some people might be disappointed by the short length (including the endgame content it took me only a few hours to complete, though I haven’t nabbed all the collectibles), but I actually enjoy games that can be finished quickly. I don’t always have time for longer, more involved games, and lots of gamers are probably in the same boat. I’d say if you’re a PC or console gamer who’s skeptical of mobile games (and I wouldn’t blame you, given their reputation), Lara Croft GO might broaden your horizons a bit. There are zero micro transactions and it’s an overall well-crafted game made by a team who really seem passionate about game design. And if you’re someone who already enjoys mobile games and hasn’t played this, why not give it a shot? It’s affordable and so, so fun. I actually enjoyed it even more than both Monument Valley games- for a while I didn’t think they could be topped! Overall, Lara Croft GO is an example of the potential mobile games have to be just as beautiful, engaging, challenging, and rewarding as their PC and console contemporaries. You might like it more than you thought you would.

Lara Croft Go: The Most Beautiful and Challenging Game; Best of the Go Trilogy. Lara Croft Go is a fabulous game of challenging puzzles and the graphics are breathtaking. As far as I know people like the more violent games in Square Enix like Deus Ex, Hitman, or Final Fantasy (never played it), but read this there is a community who wants a challenging game without any violence. I'm so inspired by this game I'm even making my own Lara Croft game (not digitally). I would prefer more monthly or weekly updates, but it is ok if you are really busy making other games. Please make another challenge. No matter what you name it or how you play it, it is going to be fabulous. Square Enix! Go!

Incredible!. This game is so well done! I love Lara Croft and have been playing all Tomb Raider games since my PS1. I am always skeptical about getting them on the iPhone or iPad for fear of how the game will play. This game is amazing! It is so well done and I can’t say enough about it. The controls are easy to learn and the game has some challenge to it. It isn’t so hard though that you give up. I couldn’t stop playing it! Great job on this game developers! Please make more like this!!! 5 stars for sure!

Crashes…unplayable on iPad. I get to a specific part of the game (Cave of Fire, Restless Chase), and the game crashes completely. I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling with no luck. There are lots of reports of this problem on the internet. It’s probably a trivial fix, but no effort is being made to address it. Very frustrating since, other than that significant problem, it’s a great game. I reported the problem to Deca support, got an automated message, nothing changed, and the received an email asking me to rate the “support” I received. The email link took me to the Deca website, which alerted me that rating “support” is not possible. I’m beginning to wonder if this developer still exists.

Amazing Puzzle Game, Wonky Controls. The puzzles are amazing! Some are hard and some are not so bad! Don’t get me wrong, the game is fun and it still deserves 5 stars. My only problem is with it it the controls. First of all, I love how there are no on screen controls so none of your content is covered. My only problem is how the controls function. The controls revolve around swiping the move left right forwards or backwards. That sounds like a good concept, but that’s where the problem lays. When you swipe, you only move a set distance. So when you move in a straight line you find yourself constantly swiping in the same direction. This type of control makes the walking motion look very unsmooth. Overall, I definitely recommend the game because the puzzles are very fun and some are challenging. Props to the creators I just wish the controls were different.

Poetry In Motion This Game. I can’t even lie, I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about playing a Lara Croft game in this form with Tomb Raider as I was very hesitant in purchasing it. After pondering it over, I went ahead and did it as it was a great buy and I am so glad I did purchase it. The music is just so screen and peaceful just the clean environment of the game. It’s simplicity honestly makes it very easy to gravitate to especially since it does involve strategy. Very highly recommended.

Level Bug. Ok so I really enjoy this game! The graphics are cool and I’m a very big fan of Tomb Raider. Literally have played every one. However, on The Cave of Fire path and the 5th level.. once you go to throw the spear at the lizard the game boots you out. I have tried several times to pass this level but it boots me out every time. I really want to continue playing this game, so I hope this gets resolved soon! The game is great!

Critical error😿. I love this game, but unfortunately I encountered a critical error and can't go further. It constantly kicks me out of the game on the Fifth level in the Cave of Fire. It kicks me out as soon as I try to throw a spear at an alligator. It kicks me out both on the tablet and on the phone (regardless of the iOS version, since it crashed both before and after the already new system updates). The game is amazing but I can't play it. Please fix it🙏🫶😿

Exceptional & Therapeutic. I have always been a long time Tomb Raider fan, having played every game available on PC and PS. And I have to say this puzzle game is so well designed and really hits that Tomb Raider fix I crave!! The sound effects really tap into ASMR, the music is so calming and serene, the graphics emulate the traditional PC Lara Croft, but are clearer and more 3 dimensional. I also love the depth it provides with a foreground and background. A could go on and on! 10/10 recommend if you are looking for a game to pass the time, that challenges your mind but doesn’t require you to memorize a lot of actions. It’s a plus if you love Lara Croft too.

No Ads. This is a good one. Really.. I like this one and I search and search for free fun games without ads and with some intelligent game play. Sporting bad guys that don’t pack too much of a punch and minimal light hearted fights, this game challenges you with increasingly difficult logic puzzles to navigate each level. Likely returning to these levels seeking missing pieces needed for future levels, this version boasts a lot of extra game play. Very well designed 3-D-ish graphics and a good throw back to good ol’ Lara Croft, Tombraider 3

Great puzzle game. A very enjoyable puzzle game. Good difficulty level as well - it’s neither super easy or super hard.

Stunning Simplicity. With a gorgeous art style, which at times reminded me quite a bit of Monument Valley, as well as excellent sound design I was hooked from the moment I began. The puzzles are well thought out and each new mechanic of the game is introduced well, giving players the necessary understanding they need to solve each unique puzzle. I do however wish there was something more I could do with Lara. Some kind of acrobatic or combat move to give me the feeling that I am in full control. A minor gripe, I'd definitely suggest this game to any fan of Tomb Raider, or anyone with soft spot for puzzles.

Really well designed game. Intuitive gameplay without needing tutorials - though it took me a bit longer to work out how to move pedestals. Very intelligent level designs. And I also love the little details like the way she moves, sometimes rolling backwards, or climbing over an edge with a handstand.

Great game but buggy in places. A long standing bug was finally been fixed, the cave salamanders can be killed, and I’ve finished the main levels. But in the bonus levels one of the levels does not load properly in the second chapter and had the DECA logo in the background and no Lara to control.

Engaging and beautiful. I normally hate turn-based games; I didn't like Hitman Go. But the beautiful artwork drew me to this game, which I bought during a price drop. And I can tell you, I don't regret my purchase one bit. The gameplay looks similar to Hitman Go, but the dynamics are very different. Puzzles feel action oriented, unlike Hitman Go's tame-if-not-dull simulated board pieces. Lara feels like an actual character moving around each puzzle. And have I mentioned again that the artwork's beautiful? Haha. The animations are silky smooth and full of character. I also highly recommend playing this with earbuds; the audio effects and soundtrack add a lot to the atmosphere of the game. Kudos to the development team for making gameplay continuous and fluid from puzzle to puzzle; there are no stupid "score" pages between puzzles and in-app purchases are virtually non-existent. This is the first iOS game which engaged me so deeply that I finished it in a single sitting; and trust me, I've tried a Lot of paid and freemium iOS puzzle games. Unfortunately, that last point is also the saddest part about this game. It's short. I hadn't expected to finish it in one sitting; I had expected at least another "story arc" when the credits started to roll. I finished the game within 4 hours (only cheated once;) Nevertheless I feel that this game still deserves 5 stars; better a short but beautifully engaging puzzle game than a long but boring one. I hope there will be a sequel or new "chapters." Would gladly pay for more. Great job, Square Enix. My only wish is that you had made Hitman Go the same way:P

Wait, What... No Scion!. Visually a really polished game. There’s chimes and handstands and shooting and loneliness but ultimately it could be Nathan Drake and we wouldn’t know the difference. Once you get your head around the puzzle dynamics it’s not that expansive and if your adept not very long. There’s great visuals. There’s an increasing level difficulty. There’s something for the completionist. There’s something for the fans. There’s return value. There’s nothing for the speed players. There’s no level creator. There’s no Tomb Raiding, it’s Lara Croft in a neat fun little puzzler.

Great game, way too short for the price. Loved the game, finished it in just a couple of days. Unfortunately no chance of replay-ability, so it’s definitely not worth the $7.99 price tag. If was a lesser price with more levels available to purchase I would have been interested, but can’t recommend it as is.

Great game but I hit a glitch. As a Lara Croft super fan I gotta say this game is great. I wondered how it would play since it’s only on your phone but it is surprisingly really good. Puzzles are challenging enough to keep you thinking but also solvable. I’m very disappointed to say I hit a glitch. In the level Cave of Fire- a restless chance, my game play glitches and boots me out of the game/app every time I try to kill the croc. They’re no way around it so I can’t complete the game. I was really enjoying it up to this point. (Anyone else have this problem?)

ADA drew my attention to this game. I've really enjoyed playing it. Great little details and gameplay. It would be nice to know how many vases you need to collect on each level BEFORE you play. I found I was starting a new level, quit back out to the book to see if I got the right amount on the previous level and replaying if necessary. That just adds lots of extra steps. Great job.

Very impressive.. As adventure games go, this one is pretty special. It has a moves system and no time limits, so players have the chance to relax and savour the gameplay experience. The level design is brilliant, the puzzles are clever and challenging, the hidden artefacts are fun to track down, and the graphics and music are beautiful. There's plenty of action, but absolutely no frustration. Lara Croft GO is a game you can sink hours into - I couldn't put it down until I'd completely finished it. Quality like this is definitely worth the price.

Top of the Class. Comfortably the best game in this style of slide puzzler. Takes the cleverness of Hitman Go and adds much more dynamic rooms and controls, and the extra dimension of height. Some very good puzzles along the way, with a good variety of opponent movements and traps to factor in. Well done.

An Awesome Destresser. After playing this game, I noticed that along side it’s minimalist style graphically and gameplay wise, it featured a top notch soundtrack. Fantastic game design. Thanks guys!! This is the first mobile game I've been hooked on and impressed by in a long time. It's really great. I love that you teach the mechanics in an elegant way without using typical tutorials. Introducing new mechanics feels like it's at a good pace. The clean design and polish is really impressive too.. The little deviations from the norm like Lara scrambling against a wall while the giant snake chases are great to mix things up, soo much to write about and like. Well done, it's a master piece and as a game creator I can tell that the levels have been gone over many times.

Short, but solid adventure.. If you're a fan of the Tomb Raider series, and don't mind increasingly challenging puzzles, then don't hesitate to purchase this. Just remember that this is a mobile game, and not an "AAA title". So, aside from length, it basically has no story and the replay value resides in getting all the artefacts. Having said that, I am still happy I dropped a few dollars into this.

Great game with a glitch. I come back to this game every year or so. The Caves of Fire level 5 glitches every time an enemy and game shuts down. Hopefully this can be fixed.

"A Restless Chase" stage bugged. Great game but there is a bug anytime you attack the salamander in "a restless chase" stage in "The Cave of Fire" quest, which causes the game to crash. Unable to complete the quest or game because of this bug. Hoping this is patched since it appears this bug has existed for a year now. Will revisit this review when the game is patched but for now if i can't complete the game it gets a low review. Update - I contacted the developers and they just closed my submission as complete but bug fix has been released...

Well presented. Is it fun though?. About 6 levels in. Is it interesting? I wouldn’t usually review a game so early, but it keeps prompting me at the end of every level! No way this is a 4.8bstar game. It might get to 4. It is beautiful. But I’m not sure whether the level design is challenging or interesting enough at this stage.

Great game but contains a bug. Hi there… have recently purchased this game and have been loving it so far! Have just reached A Cave of Fire - A relentless Chase, but as soon as I try to shoot the lizard, the game bugs out and closes. I note the link to app support does not go anywhere. Could you please look into a fix for this please as there is a big part of this chapter that can’t be played because of this… thank you :))

Would be 5 stars but 3 due to game breaking bug with newest update.. The game is fun. Enough said. But since the latest update and it's expansion, I am able to move on to the next level of the expansion because I am unable to move pedestals. I was able to move them in the base game before this update, but unable to move them now and thus, makes the game unplayable for me. Others seem to be unfected and I'm in the minority.

One of my favorite s. This game is awesome. Some puzzles are really hard. (Not as hard as the notoriously impossible « Baba is You » but hard enough to take you a few minutes. I also like how the game progresses in difficulty, it is continuously challenging, but never trivial nor impossible. Fun, and visually appealing, would buy again in a heartbeat.

Love it! Revisiting it After a few years: great puzzle game. If you liked Hitman Go, then you will like LC Go. The graphical style is a bit chunkier than the smooth style of Hitman Go but it suits the dungeons that Laura explores. The animations are very realistic especially compared to the stylized motions in Hitman Go. Worth the $5 and hopefully the continue to put out a few more level packs (I'm not done yet but that was a nice thing in Hitman Go.

Awesome puzzler game. I got this app when it was free for a limited time, but it would have totally been worth the money. I don’t usually like puzzle games because they are usually way too easy or way too hard, but this is a perfect level of difficulty. Combined with cool graphics and a fun new style of platforming, this is an awesome game that I would highly recommend.

Not what l was hoping for. The game started out okay but quickly became repetitive and boring killing the same snakes and tigers over and over again on level after level. I was looking forward to purchasing more of the Lara Croft games but unless you have considerably upgraded the next version l will not be doing so. Regards Gail

Very Fun!. Update - after playing for a couple hours longer I definitely feel this was worth the purchase. The extra adventures chapters are awesome and much more challenging! Collecting the artifacts and gems to unlock the outfits was a great extra. Old - The game is pretty fun. The art is simple and beautiful. The puzzles can be a bit easy, at least so far (about half way through). Would love to see more content.

Great…but there is a bug. This has been a fun app, great puzzles and esthetics. However I couldn’t finish the Cave of Fire, starting with section 5. Every time I tried to kill the lizard it would kick me out of the app, so I had to skip that book altogether.

Neglected by the developer. Good puzzles and a lot of fun, but a game breaking bug occurs when you kill a fire salamander leading to instant crash to home screen. Happens every time, for every user, since at least February 23 based on a quick search. I contacted the developer and they said they “might look into it at their discretion.” Don’t waste your time until it gets patched. Obviously the editor’s choice banner never gets reassessed once it’s awarded.

Still broken. I got excited when I saw a new update, but no, they still haven’t fixed the bug where the game crashes whenever a fire lizard is attacked. This game worked beautifully on my old iPad. Surely it can’t be too difficult to fix.

Makes me want to keep playing. I haven’t played an arcade type game in a looong time. This one really makes you think about how to get through the various obstacles, snakes, etc. The best thing is that you never run out of lives. For me it’s an incentive to keep playing

Let’s do a new book. Love the game but why not a another book this one with a new boss that’s the dragon but that comes back to life like those fire enemy. Also add the fire enemy and sprite enemy and the normal enemy’s and sprite lara to.

Have to start over. Was fun, but now it starts at the beginning of every chapter if I die or quit. Have to replay all previous levels in chapter instead of starting back at the beginning of the level. I don’t know if this is a glitch or by design, but since this is not a free game, I see no reason for this penalty.

Perfect puzzle format. I enjoy the puzzles, the time it takes is not unreasonable, the sections are about 10 min each (or less, so far). You can stop at any section any come back later for another try. Good for immersion or a quick diversion.

Great puzzle game. I’m a tomb raider fan and really enjoyed this puzzle game which nicely captures the feel of the game series. I completed it about 3 years ago and was pleasantly surprised when I re-downloaded it to find some new content.

Crashing. The Cave of Fire lvl 5 is constantly crashing, as soon as I shoot the lizard I get completely kicked out of the game. My husband says it’s happened on his game too and when he goes back he’s locked out of all the levels he’s already completed. My husband and I have been playing the game for years and this is the first problem we’ve had and it’s annoying. Please fix this and I’ll give the 5 star rating it deserves

Really fun reimagining!. I didn’t know what to expect from a Lara Croft puzzle game, but the first few levels have been genuinely entertaining! It does a good job of teaching you the ropes along the way, while ramping up the danger and introducing new obstacles. Great job Square!

ICONIC. This game is stunning to say the least. The puzzles, the design, & the gameplay. I love this game, I wish they’d add more levels or make a second one & turn it into a spin-off series from the main Tomb Raider games. This is truly a great game for iPhone & a shining brick in the legacy of the icon Lara Croft.

No timer involved, it’s a easy going riddle game. I love games, where no timer is involved. Played so far 6 little stories and each swipe responded perfectly. No crazy tipping for shooting or crazy stunts! Background music is comfortable to listen. Lara moved the way I wanted and the scene shows clearly where to go.

Must Be Removed From App Store. Imagine the frustration of getting almost all the way through the game only to get to a point in the Cave of Fire where it crashes every time. Imagine the frustration of of total silence on the matter from the devs. The game has apparently been abandoned by the devs. Please remove it from the App Store. I submitted a report directly to Apple, but the game is still available.

Needs some attention. I love the game, absolutely worth it! However, in the chapter “ a restless chase” it seems to glitch when you kill the first opponent in the game!

Amazing game!!!. If you love Lara Croft you will love this game! The art and music are beautiful and the puzzles are engaging and fun. It also saves across devices so you can play on your iPad and pick up where left off on your phone or iPod! Definitely worth having !

Mostly great. Some recent bugs.. I love this turn based game. It’s perfect for touch devices. Nice score and visuals too. However, maybe it’s a recent bug, but on my iPad Pro m2 and my iPhone 11 Pro, the same event triggers a crash. On The Cave of Fire: Restless Chase, you go to shoot the lizard and it crashes the game. Weird. Can’t get passed that. Please fix!

Important note.. This game is truly beautiful, when I was around 10 I couldn't possibly finish the game but after some years I have came back to it and I am grateful I did so. Everyone should experience this game, just from the art to the amazing puzzles. Definitely a good buy.

Could be harder. The puzzles are well done, introducing obstacles and tools without a tutorial. The first couple chapters are perfect. The later ones suffer from being too small. I was hoping for larger, more complicated maps, requiring more thought. What's there is really good, but it plateaus halfway through.

Incredible game for puzzle lovers. This should be a top #5 puzzle in the App Store. Timeless design... still great in 2020. I hope that they keep adding new mechanics and levels. Best played with a partner, taking turns to figure out puzzles together for extra social or conjugal fun, or fun with your kids while developing their intelligence.

Awesome. I had a real challenge playing this game a good since of logic and also relaxing at the same time the only downside is that it takes up so much space on my phone. 🤓👍🏾

Fun but kicking problems. It’s a fun game and also fun to replay but I’m on the cave of fire chapter and whenever I kill a thing it kicks my out and I can’t play

Confused. I really liked the game, puzzles are challenging but solvable, just a bit confused about the outfits, is there a purpose for them. It said it was for different areas, but I didn't see those. Have I missed out on another part of the game, since there was no guide or instructions, I don't know.

Love this game. This is a game I can (and have) play over and over! It always kills an hour or two! I wish they’d put out a new chapter

Was great until it started crashing.. The game was working perfectly and I loved it. That is until I got to a Restless Chase level and every time I go to shoot the salamander it crashes. I have checked for software updates on my device as well as updates for the game to see if anything fixes it, but nothing…disappointing to purchase a game that now I can’t even finish playing.

Shuts off if you try to use controller. Can you work on the controller compatibility? It’s a nice game, but with so many games that are now can be played with a controller rather than touchscreen it’d be much nicer if this one was also compatible. Thank You

So far I love this game!!!!. I’ve always been a fan of the Lara Croft games, back from when I played them on a PS1 or PS2. This is a unique take on a genre, that combines great music/sounds, along with puzzles that seem to increase in difficulty, at a steady but reasonable pace. Another reviewer said that the character movement was wonky, but I find it perfect. Normally, with puzzle games where you have to swipe each time you move are annoying to me, but this one has me hooked and I can’t stop playing it! Great work!!!

Fun puzzle game. This puzzle game was lots of fun, although it was a little too easy at times and a little too short, even with the extra chapters that were added at some point. I enjoyed the puzzle mechanics and the art style.

Crashes at a specific level. The game has great puzzles and play; sadly there is a level that many, including myself, have experienced the app itself crashing. I’ve deleted the app, redownloaded it, played through again, yet the same issue happens. I hope that this gets fixed soon since this game is very fun. Until then it gets three stars.

Loves tomb Raider. I’ve played tomb raider for many years. I like the challenges that come with the puzzles when I’m playing. Can get very time consuming because it’s hard to stop when your very much into the game . Would recommend it for everyone. Great game

Excellent Mind Exercise. As an adult who grew up with the first edition of Lara Croft on PC. I am well pleased with the gameplay of this game design. Swipe to move is differ t from the fluid motion which helps to keep you engaged throughout the game making every character and the environment become a part of the puzzle. Well done! Wooooooo C. Simple yet highly entertaining!. I downloaded this game with skepticism, but after playing just a short time, I loved it! Harkens back to earlier times watching my daughter play (and I played too). It’s a cool game! Hire Nathan McCree to do his iconic music!

Amazing game. This is a very unique and awesome game I love Laura Croft and for a mobile game this is so awesome to just play and solve puzzles. With no ads and buyable puzzles for people having trouble it is awesome deal I recommend this game to people who enjoy solving puzzles and this is a great game to play during the corona virus

Bug in one level: game crashes. In the level “A Restless Chase,” there is a bug. When the main character uses the gun or spear, the game immediately crashes. Is the game being maintained? I hope the seller finds a fix, because this is a delightful puzzle game.

This is AMAZING!!!😄. This game is so great I can’t describe it but I totally recommend this game. If you really love puzzle games that challenge your brain then download this game. This game is so cool and I want more levels there are a lot of levels but I want more because I love playing this game totally recommend it.

So good. This game is soooo good! I almost got all badges and i replay it a lot. But a bug appeared where in the book with the fire (i forgot its name) every enemy i try to stun crashes my game. Other than that, the game is perfect. But please fix that bug.

Good game but crashes on cave of fire. Game crashes on The Restless Chase level. Seems a lot of people are having the same issue. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Lara revisited. It's nice to see Lara back in action. This is more reminiscent of the look of the original Tomb Raider games rather than some of the more recent games. To me this is a good thing. Good puzzles of average difficulty. No required in-app purchases.
