A must have for any Christian!. I have been searching for an app like this for a long time! Finally an app that allows for repetition in not only chapters but also verses and whole books as well! It does cost $1.99 to upgrade to those features but it is definitely worth it! Very simple and easy to use as well. I never leave reviews but I had to say something about this one!

Great. Clear pronunciation and voice speed. No drama, which is preferable for me. This is the beloved King James Version, although I'd like to see a New King James come out. I have the free version which is a blessing. I often fall asleep listening to the scriptures... I feel truly blessed with this Bible application!

Bible. App will not play audio

Just an excellent Audio Bible. Over the years I have bought and use free audio KJV bible apps. This one should be the standard for all audio bibles and for memorization. As a Corporate and Law Enforcement Chaplain, this audio bible is a blessing. Finally you don’t need a memorization app. This app does it all. I can use to: 1. Memorize one verse at a time or 2 or 3 or whole chapters. 2. You may say I can do that with other apps I know, but the secret to the success of this app for me memorizing is the option to repeat. 3. Yes you can repeat one verse at a time or 2-3 or 2-10 verses at a time and all you do is hit repeat the audio and keep listening and repeating it or along with it until you memorize scriptures. I love this habit. I have a habit where I’ll take a book of the Bible and then choose to memories 3 verse a week from the app. After using the repeat mode and I know the text by heart I move on to the next one. It’s even worth the price and you have the app that you can use over and over again. So I suggest when for all the Bible apps you have get this app. Chaplain Derrick

The absolute BEST!. My husband and I listen to this on the road, at night, and whenever we can. I like to read along too. This is the best Bible app I’ve ever found. Reading and listening to the Bible is wonderful! God said He is the word, and I can’t get enough of it. It is new every day. God reveals His word by the Holy Spirit and teaches me great and might things that I did not know. Just like He said He would. ❤️

So far, so good!. Just wish it included the Old Testament :( thought if I'd buy the upgrade, I would get it, but no. But I got another free app for the whole Bible so it's all good now.

Absolutely worth ninety nine cents. I truly enjoy this app! The narrator has a friendly almost familiar voice that is pleasing to listen to while studying the word. Flawless! I've never had any crashes , bugs, or anything else you sometimes hear about apps. Jesus reigns!

Good reading of God's Word.. I use this app almost every day as I drive in my car to work. I've had it a couple months and I am already going through the New Testament the second time. It is a very even and smooth reading of the Holy Scriptures. I really enjoy it and highly recommend it. Remember that faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Just as great as Fast Bible!. I discovered this app because I love another app that this developer has made called Fast Bible. (Get it if you haven't!) Spokenword is a fantastic app that does exactly what needs to be done with a quick and clean interface, but doesn't have any extra "stuff" to bog it down. The repeating and customized repeating is an excellent feature!! I am curious as to why there are two separate apps for OT and NT. seems like it would be easier to have one app...? Anyway, highly recommend this app, especially if you're working on memorizing passages.
