The Best Reformed Reference Tool for the iPhone!!!. Ever since getting my iPod Touch about a year ago, I've been searching for a good app that contained the Westminster Standards (CoF, LC & SC). After months of searching, out comes iReformed! The first version I bought had all three Westminster standards along with the two main ecumenical creeds (Apostles and Nicene). The interface is simple and elegant, and more importantly, the catechisms contain the Scripture proofs. Then as I was searching for an equivalent app for the Three Forms of Unity (Belgic Confession, Heidelberg Catechism and Canons of Dordt), iReformed updates their app to include those three historic documents too! They also toss in the Athanasian Creed to boot. Bottom line, this is the BEST REFORMED APP FOR THE iPhone/iPod Touch!!! You can't beat $0.99 for all this material!

Disappointed with the current update.. I purchased this app specifically because it contained the 1689 Baptist Confession and now it is gone.

A must have for Reformed junkies :). As a first year seminary student getting aquatinted with the historic reformed confessions for the first time, I must say this app is fantastic, a real blessing from the Lord Jesus Christ! I'm memorizing the Westminster Shorter Catechism on it and it is very helpful!

Great purchase. As a Reformed Christian, this app has been pivotal in the last few days since I've purchased it. It has been much easier to use this in order to access my catechisms than carrying a hard copy around. Furthermore, it is just as accurate as the hard copy of one's Westminster Confession and shorter and larger catechisms, being that it has the Scripture proofs in full. This app' is also very helpful in studying some of the early foundational creeds and confessions that have been significant in establishing Reformed theology. Rather than carry different texts via hard copy, with this app', one can access some of the most significant texts of Reformed theology digitally all within this one quick and user-friendly app'. My only desire is to see some way that one could quiz him-/herself on the catechism questions in a more unique way, i.e., fill-in-the-blank answers, recital, word bank answers, or trivia. This would definitely make the app' that much more beneficial, but all around as of now, it's a great purchase!

IReformed Creeds and Confessions. I have use this resource for several years. The Heidleburg Catachism especially has been an encouragement. Easy to use and move smoothly through. Thanks! The overall iReformed Creeds and Confessions provide such a compact and quick reference. Your design is clean and intuitive.

HUGE BLESSING. This is a great resource, I turn to it often. Would love to see a brief bio on each creed. Verse references are a great idea and very accessible. One of my most turned to Apps!

Hamstrung due to the removal of the 1689. Perhaps the author just doesn’t fully understand the term Reformed. In any case there are other apps to choose from that are more inclusive.

Can't Leave Home Without It. As a pastor, I've often left my Standards and BOCO at home. With this tool you can't do that; it's with you...well, unless you forget your smartphone. I use this app while preaching, while doing Sunday School, while doing family devotions (we mirror the Bible and this app onto our TV), and while counseling and making hospital calls. I wish the ESV was an option for the Proof texts, and I wish highlighting and note-taking were possible, but it's a great resource.

Font size is fixed!. Thank you for the latest update that so quickly fixed the small font size! This problem has now gone away.

Awesome, but one suggestion. Great app, but would love to see a reference page for the catechism in list form so that we can easily and quickly find questions. This would be a huge improvement. Otherwise, excellent app, nice interface. Well done guys, but please make a reference list =)

Great app!! Useful & easy. Very useful for those wanting moble access to these reformed docs. The recent addition of font size adjustment is a great improvement. Landscape would be a nice addition. Also the Heidleberg Catechism would be nice addition. Great app!! Easy to use and great deal for .99

Terrific tool for discipleship. I use this every night with my girls as part of their bedtime routine. It's a wonderful way to have such easy access to such rich theology.

What happened to the 1689?. Still a great app but I open it this morning and no 1689?

Best study tool ever!. I love this! No excuse to not reference the doctrines we hold dearly! It’s right at your fingertips on your phone! Bible references and everything! Neat bc you can quiz yourself by looking at the question alone then add the answer... love, love, love it! I made all my kids put it on their phone too! 💕

Wonderful reformed app, but.... Overall, I agree with other reviewers: this is an essential app for any reformed christian. I do have one, however, have one suggestion: the translation of the Heidelberg is much too archaic for modern day use and application. I don't know of any Reformed church that uses this old translation. My suggestion would be to use the 1978 Modern English Version used by the RCUS and some URCNA congregations. But, please know that this app is a helpful service to the church. Thank you, indeed!

Simple & Invaluable. This app is fantastic for learning and referencing the reformed creeds and confessions! It is very simple to use and an invaluable tool in strengthening your Christian faith and helping you "be renewed in the spirit of your mind"! A must have app!

A handy help!. Proof texts at my fingertips! Thank you. I would prefer more modern language in the choice of Bible translation for proof texts. But still much easier than looking them up individually or using the old system of footnotes.

1689. I purchased this app for the 1689 LBC and it’s gone now.

Very cool.. Asthetically, practically, and theologically pleasing, this app. is well worth the .99 cent pittance. The format serves well not only for reference but for memorization. A must-have for pastors, elders, and all of those who used to think they didn't have the time to catechize themselves and/or their families.

A Great Encouragement. As I study the great confessions of our faith I am encouraged as they have become devotional strengthening my faith. The app is easy to navigate and I hope you enjoy this resource as much as I have.

Exactly what I was looking for!. This app is great! Comprehensive in containing all of the confessions & catechisms I was looking for in a very readable format. A search function would be icing on the cake but this cake is delicious even without icing!

Almost useless for me. The material is obviously ver good. The formate the material is presented in is good. However, the neon blue font used for the answers is very difficult for me to read.

Confessional. As someone new to the reformed faith , this app is a blessing to have at your fingertips . Easy to navigate and thorough with scripture proofs

Handy App!!. Very handy for my iPod touch when I don't have wifi. Being able to rotate to landscape view and zoom in on text would be a helpful update. Worth $.99!

SOO GOOD… but... This is a wonderful app in ALMOST every way. I absolutely love having these Reformed documents and catechisms available in a very user friendly format with all the Scripture proofs right there! Wonderful service. It would get a full 5 stars IF it contained the option for a couple or few other major Bible translations (like ESV and/or NASB, etc, rather than only King James). The app still includes the Word of God, and in a very poetically rich and majestic translation… but it would be that much more useful if it included at least one modern translation (ideally a couple or few). Here’s one example of why I say this: in my church’s Sunday school class, we are going through the Shorter Catechism, and a surprising number of sentiments opposed to the Reformed use of confessions and catechisms has been voiced; having the Scripture proofs quickly available during a class setting like that has been greatly helpful, but it would be much MORE helpful if they were in a translation whose language would be immediately understood by the whole variety of people present in such a situation. I would definitely PAY extra for that added feature!!! Thank you all the same for this great product.

SDG. I have just recently come to a Reformed understanding of Scripture. Finally, all of Scripture makes sense. Having these confessions and catechisms handy on my phone as I continue to grow has been very helpful to me. Simple app that works well.

iReformed is a must have. Reading statements of the Church is never a waste of time. The idea that you can have these key confessional docs for this price is amazing, and TimBecca (sp?) has done a great job in form (the aesthetic is great) and a decent job in function (proof texts and answers can be hidden for memorization purposes). The only downsides that would be great to have rectified are: 1) no search function, and 2) no ability to jump to a certain question in any of the catechisms. Until those two things are developed, Logos and other apps will outshine this one. Still, for the price, you should certainly get this app ASAP!

Great!. Like the fact that the larger and shorter as well as the Westminster confession if Faith and a few creeds. Just to makes sure you are fully equipped for any occasion.

pastor. Great to have it all in one place. The 'define' option when you highlight a word is a good feature for those learning English. Appreciate cut/paste option, ie. for e-mailing or Twitter. Wish you could search them by Scripture passage. Too bad King James is the only translation version available, please add NIV and New Living Translation!

Almost..... I down loaded the update and the Catechisms still do not work. Kinda bummed since I really got the app for the Heildelberg Catechism. I do love the instant cross references. Even without the Catechisms it is a fantastic reference.
