EBLI’s 3rd App, Sight Words Made Easy, teaches students to accurately read and spell sight words (regular and irregular high frequency words) by sound and accurately read and use homophones. It is intended for those who have a general reading foundation and is a great segue for new readers who have already learned the basics from Reading Adventures with Booker Series, #1 EBLI Island and #2 EBLI Space.
While containing the exceptional quality of EBLI’s previous apps, Sight Words Made Easy is more advanced and contains EBLI instruction for learners of all ages (up to adults). The information, skills, and concepts taught teach irregular and regular words by sound. Instruction benefits readers of every age and level by improving their word reading accuracy, providing advanced phonics knowledge, and improving reading speed and comprehension.
EBLI’s multi-sensory instruction through learning activities and games will greatly accelerate the learner’s acquisition of reading, improve handwriting, and decrease the habit of guessing sight words when reading in text.
The App has introductory activities to the EBLI concepts:
• Up to 4 letters can spell a sound
• Sounds can be spelled in a variety of ways
• The same spelling can represent many different sounds
There are two main activities: Sight Words and Homophones
Analytics are available to follow student progress. Motivational reinforcement is included and rewards are unlocked as students move through the activities.

How to get a refund. Boxes are blank. App does not work. How do you get a refund?
Difficult. The letter tracing is difficult and my son almost immediately upon playing got frustrated.
Great for older students who are learning to read!. I use this app for older students who need systematic rewdimg instruction. The lessons help train the brain to understand the code. This is really great for parents whose children have holes in their education and need an easy program to do. Very happy with the EBLI apps. I have all of them!
Can’t get past the handwritten part. What is wrong with this app?! I can’t believe it is so picky about letter formation and won’t allow an advance. Is there a way to bypass this impossible task? A very frustrating experience.
We love all 3 EBLI apps. This app was great for both of my kids around the end of first and second grade. A great follow up to the first two apps.
Paid for nothing. There is nothing showing. Empty boxes. Waste of $5. DON’T BUY!
Mediocre. I’d like if there was just a little less sensitivity with the tracing. Even as an adult I struggled to get it to draw the line around the e. It was very frustrating for my kid.

Super Glitchy. My child keeps selecting the correct answer and it tells her she is wrong. Really confusing and frustrating.
Sight Words, Spelling, Sentence Dictation. Love this Ap. Works best if not on IPad mini, but it’s a great way to learn and practice accurate letter formation plus it has 3 levels of difficulty. One purchase gets you 5 separate users and it’s easy to add and delete users. Homophones are an added bonus, for example: Steak vs Stake

Doesn’t work. Can’t get it to work shows empty boxes and a blank screen
There is a bug preventing us from moving forward. We opened the Sight Words App, got the introduction, and the first exercise hearing, tracing and sounding out the sight words, “up, tea, earn and weight”. And then the App went no further despite opening and closing several times. We love the EBLI Island App and have made so much progress using it. For this App to not work is so disappointing. I hope they fix the bug.
Great app. I love that this app makes the kids use proper letter formation to move forward. My kids got used to other programs that didn’t track stopping/starting points. For my older kids, I love that I can also turn the handwriting aspect off. It is great practice for all ages.
Great App!. We use both of the EBLI apps. They have been a great supplement to our homeschool curriculum. My daughter’s spelling has improved from using the sight word app.
Loved this!. I love using this with my students who continually misread sight words. For example getting of, off, from goofed up or misreading who and how, just to name a few. It also reinforces correct letter formation.
Doesn’t work. I read the reviews where they said the box shows blank don’t buy doesn’t work. I figured that was just a fluke but I can team you it’s not. Doesn’t work. Please don’t buy!!!!
