Eh.. don’t bother. It has so much potential but it’s just terrible I barely get notifications when I get messages on there and it just needs work

Photo Shoot. Mostly good models as more people have joined. Better than any other app I’ve tried!

Problems. I am new to this app and after I subscribed it still doesn’t show any castings. I’m not sure if this is a glitch in the app or if that’s just the way it is but, I signed up with hope that it would show castings.

App broken for weeks... This app is saying “request failed, try again” when ever I try to open the app. This has been going on for about 2 weeks now..

Scam. App is a total scam. Once I realized that (after countless inappropriate messages from the same people but with different elaborate accounts/stories) I of course tried to delete my account. But guess what! The app crashes every. single. time. And there is basically no way to reach customer support, i don’t think they even have any. Should have been a red flag! Now my pictures are stuck there for every perv to see. Don’t trust this trick app.

From a somewhat clumsy and buggy version to a totally useless one. Big hoopla, multiple announcements. Such a big update that we have to reset our passwords. For what? I can’t even browse the type of talent I want in a location I am not at? I understand developers have to make money too, but needing a subscription even to only find out there is a viable talent pool in the city I am traveling to? Only to find out the messaging system is so bad still that I miss appointments because the messages never arrived on time? (not saying it is bad, but history matters) No thank you.

Super slow loading process smh. App takes forever to refresh even when I tried using it in different devices and different WiFi locations. - Major improvement needs to be done before I waste my time here where I could just hit up location on IG and find a model.

Overall, I really like this app. Overall, this is a great app! A few kinks here and there, but I haven’t had any major problems. One thing is that if you don’t pay for membership, you can’t do as much and everything is limited. I did the $5.99 a month plan to kind of test the waters. So far, I feel like it was worth it because I’ve gotten like 8 messages since I joined last week. I actually have already worked with a photog I met on here and it went great!!! Before this app, I most mostly relying on my social media to help me get modeling jobs, but this app has definitely made it easier. One thing that I wish they’d do is maybe list more location options for what area you are in. I’m from Cali which is a pretty big state. I feel like the California cities they listed are very spread out and probably don’t accurately describe where many people are from. I’m lucky that I only live an hour from LA, so I can just list LA. But other people aren’t so lucky. I would definitely recommend this app though!

Will not allow me to sign back into my account. I’ve been out of the App for like 3 weeks and now trying to sign back in it’s just loading..... that’s all it will do nothing else. I updated it but that did not help. It’s still loading lol..... And 2nd they emailed me saying my account is not approved and that I need pictures without snap chat filters Ect. I updated my account and email back that same day to please review it again so it can be activated and I never got an response back...... I do not recommend this app if you are trying to be taken seriously

Won't even open. After the latest update the app won't even open

Credential Issues after App Update. App works well most times. I have an issue after every update related toy credentials. I log into the website fine with those same credentials, but the app can't recognize the user name. SMH

Too slow. Useful app, but things like messages take way too long to load

Won’t open anymore. I’ve had this app for a while and I’ve actually gotten a shoot scheduled off it, but now it keeps telling me that my request failed when I try to open it. I can’t open it to respond to messages, or update my portfolio and it’s kind of a pain! Update: I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it worked!

Great response to using my name and images to contact models!. They found the person pretending to be me and fixed the issue quickly! We all agree that protection of the models is most important! Great work!

Seems like a great app if you could move past certain screens. I’d love to give this app an opportunity, however, I can’t get past the measurement screen. I can’t scroll down to confirm my DOB/Bust/Waist/Height Measurements and every time I close and reopen the app the screen remains the same. It’s extremely annoying and I’m highly disappointed that in the first 5 minutes I’m running in to a huge development issue/glitch.

Idk any more. Been trying to sing in for over an hour now. Reset my password 4 times and it's not letting me login

Buggy. Crashes often... I do like the layout and the unlimited uploads for portfolio. Would give 5 stars if it didn’t crash every other time I opened it

Sizing page. After downloading, the app won’t let me leave the sizing page. There’s not confirm or update button and it opens right back up to it when I close the app.

account issue. My account isn’t being recognized and when i go to change my password it says my email isn’t in the system, but i have emails from the company in my inbox.

Performance issues. I love this app but this app needs major performance overhauls. This apps takes way to long to load. Please make improvements to this app. This app has a lot of potential and would love to see this app perform very well.

Really helps connect to opportunities. I’ve paid for apps or website to help match me with models or people needing photography, but this actually is efficient in making the connection easy for both parties, would highly recommend to those in search of building portfolios or looking for local talent.

Doesn’t work.. The browse section constantly says request failed. Used to be a great app, but they stopped caring about it.

Where has this been!!! Great app!!. This app has made my collaboration and discovery of up and coming talent much easier. It’s intuitive and simple. So much so, that I don’t even tell me other photographer friends about it! My gain their loss!🤗

Slow and can’t check messages. Messages just keep spinning and freezes app

1 bad thing, overall great!!. I love this app. It def helps to put yourself out there and it’s legit. While using this app I’ve worked with about 2 photographers and will be working with another this weekend. So easy to use and easy to communicate with others. I do reccomend this app to all models and photographers. However on the down side this app somehow logs you out often. I don’t know what it is. For me it is annoying because I dislike having to login ALL THE TIME. Just got a notification that others felt that way too. If this isn’t to annoying for you by all means this is the app for you!!! :)

BE AWARE OF STALKER and the app doesn’t even work properly. Be aware of weird creeps on this app. The “photographer” is stalking me for a year on SNS. And this app doesn’t even work properly and I can’t even log in to my own account anymore. So frustrating. Also they deactivate your account for no reason without telling you why lol just avoid this negative energy.

Lackluster. Overall, the app is great. It puts you in contact with other creatives, allows casting, etc, but at a price. In order for you to contact anyone, post any castings, change browsing search; you have to have a subscription. At first I had no issue with this, but as I started to post castings and search for talent, the app became more and more glitchy. I can’t even invite anyone to a photo shoot I put on a calendar without the app crashing and completely shutting off. For someone that has paid a subscription, this can be very bothersome, as I did not know I was paying for mediocre services. Someone should fix these app crashes fast, or my incline to keep a subscription will dwindle.

app is from dark ages. I like idea of connecting artists but the app is crap. its slow crashes and quite honestly screws up castings and profile features. Incredibly slow. All of the people I know that use it, have stopped because of this. too bad. good idea but not enough tech behind it.

Worst app. I was a subscriber for almost 3 years. What a waste of money. I can’t even see who’s on it now that I’m not a subscriber other then the promoted models that are paying 24 bucks a month. Stick to model M with a full functioning website. They also ran a fraudulent contest on social media that never awarded a prize or announced the winner. Don’t waste your money. Update: you claim you announced the winner to your contest on social media? Tell me what date you posted that and what platform! I scoured them all and no mention of any winner.

Photo upload issues. Just downloaded the app to find models in our area to work with my brand. Trying to delete photos that were uploaded by mistake but there is no delete button or option anywhere! Please help with this issue ASAP! Thank you!

ENTIRE APP IS COMPROMISED. The app doesn’t work for me suddenly. Tried resetting my password, and nothing. After the 8th reset I was able to get in to my account and see that fake castings had been posted under my name! Then I also could see multiple other accounts posting identical fake castings. The app is compromised. Give them your info and you will get hacked. DO NOT SEND OR UPLOAD ANYTHING PERSONAL THROUGH THIS APP!

Approved account. It’s not approving my account for some reason

App down. I opened the app from an alert and I was taken to a login screen. Every login I tried failed. I went to reset my password and the reset button gave me the same fail error that I got from the failed logins. I reopened the app and tried again. Same result. I deleted the app and this time it immediately opened to a green retry button and nothing else. Just a button that spins and resets when you tap it.

Subscription. I subscribed but my status has not changed. I deleted and reinstalled the app and nothing?

Premise Wrong. The app is solid, but the premise is wrong. The end result: many photographers join with few models. Having no desire to photograph other photographers, we will eventually leave also. The solution: Give full license to models free of charge. With many models online, photographers will be happy to pay the monthly fee.

Easier to navigate. Great update!

Issues. This app has way too many glitches

What even is this app 😂. Created a profile, uploaded pictures, set my location….there’s literally no information on here. there are zero castings. I click on “Castings” and it’s a blank screen. It also resets your location based on where you are, rather than where you would prefer to model. For example, I live right outside of Boston, but I want to see castings directly in boston. But I can’t because it automatically sets me to my geolocation. Anyway, that doesn’t even matter because there are zero castings on here anyway.

Why???. This app will not launch! I received an email saying I have a message on the site, but when I try to log in I get the spinning wheel all day. I reset my password, deleted and reinstalled the app, nothing. I even reset my device just in case. Serious glitch going on, so I’ve removed the app and have moved on with my life. I hope (for the developers sake) this glitch is fixed soon!

Why is location mandatory?. Why is location mandatory when I can choose in which city I want to browse available talents? Uninstalled app until this is not mandatory.

New update ruins everything. They recently updated their apps and now it’s not even open anymore. It crush simultaneously and logged out automatically. I have to log in every time and I don’t even know what they’re doing with all our data. Pretty disappointed.

Updated now doesn’t open?!. I downloaded the update now the app just stays loading and never opens up wth?!?!

Useless. Can’t filter without paying. Utterly useless. Quality is intermittent. Within the first 10 minutes of using it after my profile was approved, it’s not loading any other content besides my own profile.

Good. Really great app, very professional. There are, however, some bugs, and the upgrades are expensive. Better than other modeling apps.

I like the idea..... I love the idea of this app, however I’ve been contacted twice now with bogus scams. I don’t blame the app developers for this but in order to make it a safer place, there should be something to weed out the bad ones!! It’s annoying to respond to someone and waste your time only to find out they want to “mail you a check to deposit into bank account prior to shooting” 🤦🏼‍♀️

Great app, but the update makes it crash. I’m using the app on my iPad and for some reason, after I reset my password due to the update, it keeps crashing. None of my messages are coming up, my profile isn’t showing, and nothing will load. Overall it’s a fantastic app, this update has just created some issues.

Can’t login. I had an account before the update, and I reset my password but on the updated version when I type my login, the keyboard won’t go away so I literally can’t click “sign in”. Huge bug.

Can't delete images. App seems good but I can't work out how to delete images after uploading to my portfolio? Also no visible FAQ or contact to solve the issue.

Extremely limited. Prophoto definitely attempted to provide users with the essential features, but the user experience translates to a bloated and confusing one. More importantly, there is a severe lack of users, ultimately making this unusable.

Interesting app.... Well made, pleasant interface, good concept. Usefulness is limited. Not many models in my area. Some profiles are approved without any pertinent informations in them. Bottom line: not a reliable source to hire models.

Still alpha. Potential is there but I am having bugs pretty much on all screens. So many that I am actually wondering how the people in my area ever managed to fill their profile or upload their portfolio. Wait until the next major version.

Registration broken. Unfortunately, the registration within the app is broken, and will not allow registrations (complaining about invalid email addresses). I tried seeking help on the support link from the App Store, but no help is available. There is also no assistance offered within the app prior to registration. Too bad! It looked interesting.

not there yet. There are less people enrolled here for a reason. The folks here want to make money off everyone rather than deliver a good experience. For example putting limits of 10 messages even with whom you are already corresponding with is just crazy.

So disappointed!. I had high hopes for this app, as it started out with lots of promise. After the update and the cutback on images allowed in the basic profile from a measly 10 images down to only 5 images basically forcing you to upgrade if you want your content to be seen this app has become pointless. Not only that you get spammed with useless requests leading to zero jobs. 👎🏼 Improvements needed or will have to delete...

It's a nice app to have. Like I said it's a nice app but they only allow you to submit to only a few castings a month.. And then you have to pay 10$ or more if you want to submit more....

I had to download and use the app you also a time, your application is a great app. Application help me protect personal communications by adopting this application gives me a sense of security not only can still be photographed and uploaded to friends and the world to see great. Buggy. Not all portfolio photos are showing. It says you can up load ten but will only let you upload 9 and some time less or they are hidden by black squares.

Pretty Buggy, But.... Notifications not always coming through and yes I've got my notifications on for the app in the setting.... loads slow as heck, messages are so delayed.... BUT it still made many connections :)

Only for Los Angeles. Downloaded the app, looked promising. However, it only seemed to show results for LA with no way to change the city.

Eh. Decent idea, interface is crap

Sync is off, fake profiles.. Me and a few others that shoot in same state that use the app have run into a few fake profiles. Usually with Russian names and very strange responses or all of sudden replies. Same people spoke to with the others, same weirdness.

Buggy. Good concept but needs polishing. Errors from a paid subscription application is unacceptable.

Great app ! Easy to use. APP is useful for me ! The graphics are great and simple. I can create my profile, upload my portfolio easily and quickly. This is very early to be reviewing, but I'm simply stunned by how great this app is. The quality is very "film-like"--great detail, great depth...almost like you can feel it. Great !. You invited me over Instagram sometime ago. So I gave it a try. Love the concept. Love design. Everything looks great. Only thing you need is right marketing. Get more people there so it's useful.

Fake reviews. Buggy app. Premature monetization.. Outsourcing app reviews won't change the fact that the product needs work. You have great progress in the right direction but focus on the users and iterating forward instead of worrying about ASO with a half-baked product.

Awesome App!. I am just starting my photography business..this is an Awesome app! If you are in the photography industry ... This is a must have. Love it!

App has a few bugs. This app works pretty well, but it has a few bugs and some usability issues. First, with current version when you try to favorite someone, you get failed request. Do it a second time and it seems to register an un-favorite. The third time is a charm as it finally registers your favorite. Actually, this one should be first because it takes too long for the app to open, and I'm using an iPhone 7. Next, when you go to a casting, there doesn't appear to be a way to get back to other parts of app. You have to quit to start all over. Devs should implement swipes and such to get to different parts of the app, back, forward, etc. Lastly, you should have ability to pick what shows up in thumbnails as sometimes faces get cut off in vertical shots. Overall, still pretty useful, but not a smooth experience. I see this app as a step above model mayhem, but it needs the polish to match. Update 7/14/17: Devs seem to have fixed favorite issue. App is still too slow opening. Should add ability to sort favorites by different categories, such as model, mua, etc. Need to be able to search by more criteria, such as eye color, hair color, height, etc. BTW, the logo is pretty unprofessional looking. Needs simpler design, more class.

Too expensive to upgrade. Interface is nice. The filters are helpful, but here lies the problem. After the filters are done in a large city like San Diego, I am down to like 40 models to choose from and out of those only about 10 are experienced. Of those 10 experienced ones only a couple have photos the rest have Instagram links, which are not accessible with a free account. LA market has 70 Pro models and 190 experienced, this is fine if it were a city of 150,000, but LA is a HUGE market with thousands of models. It's audacious to ask for a monthly subscription to unlock features when this app has little to no industry penetration.

Great Mobile Tool. There was always Model Mayhem online, but their mobile site was just awful. Having this tool in my pocket is amazing! Can't wait for more to join and start up some shoots 😁

Old version was better!!. The old version was better. every time I try to open the castings or messaging it closes the app. Also all my old messages and castings are gone!

Superior in every way to Model Mayhem!. See subject heading. Now if only there were more people on it it would truly be great...

Please fix new version. Doesn't work. Awful app. New version is extremely buggy. I lost all old messages and friend list. Now I can't even message people who haven't upgraded to new version yet. On top of losing everything, I am paying for the 'standard' service, but my account is running as basic. Please fix!

Wow. Better then mayhem. Great app much more quality photographers and models

Last version before this firebase version was better. The last version before the overhaul was slow at times, but was actually more functional. This latest version is extremely slow more times than not, which makes it feel like a waste of time if you're using this professionally. Overall it's a good idea but the implementation could be improved. Also they've made the app a lot less friendly for free users...for example if you just want to filter between photographers and models, that is now considered an "advanced" feature. I was a paid subscriber on the previous version, but this version needs some major changes before they can earn my money again. Is this built with react native? If not, maybe that could be worth considering to help with the iOS and android versions. One star for making the migration easy and another star for getting it working on iOS.

Useful and interesting.. From this application repository known my life has changed completely. This application is useful for user-friendly interface and ease of use is relatively new for the first time as my use. Thank the developers have created this application. I will introduce applications for my family so that they also get the benefits from the application brings.
