Early de-activation of my account. I have been a loyal straight talk customer from the very beginning. I have had the same phone and phone number for 7 years.. I buy the 30 day unlimited card each month. I purchased the last card on June 3rd, 2019. I received a text message saying my service would expire on July 3rd 2019. Today is June 29th 2019. It is 11:45 a.m. and my phone has been shut off every since 7:00 a.m. this morning. I use this phone for work. Customers call me on this number and this is how I communicate with everyone. What should I do? Should I sue Straight Talk for lose of money and potential deals that could have been made this morning. I call the 1-877 number and it says my account is de-activated and prompts me to add more phone time. I listen to all of the available options and I am never allowed to speak to an actual customer service representative. After it prompts me to add time a few different ways.. it just hangs up on me.. HELP!!!

Best phone service Iv had 5 years and counting. I love the service honestly best coverage and most consistent service Iv had. I used to have t-mobile and not only were they stealing money from me with mysterious extra fees I never agreed to but the service sucked every time I called I got some goof ball with endless excuses on why I’m charged so much and never have signal plus tried to charge me for leaving them smh never again Verizon is basically the same. Iv only need to call once and they were quick and easy to deal with not some big company stealing and playing games . 9/10 service I’d say 10/10 but nothings perfect In this life lol

Can’t reach anyone. My service plan didn’t auto renew this month for some reason and I’ve been trying nonstop to reach someone to figure out what was going on but I can’t. Ive tried going through all the different channels and waited in the cue of 180 people yesterday online only to reach no one. I’ve called customer service and it sent me through to the SmartPay line which is the company that I leased my phone through and they said they can’t do anything and they’re not sure why it got connected to them instead of to straight talk. They told me it said my plan expired which I still didn’t know at this point since I can’t reach anyone and I have to buy another but every time I try to do that it tells me action can’t be completed call customer service. Ive been going through this for 2 days now and still can’t reach anyone. I’ll be switching services

Best phone service I’ve ever had.. I have been utilizing Straight Talk for at least two years now. It is wonderful for the whole family especially with anyone that is on a budget. With great cellular products and many plans to choose from, so picking one that is perfect for you is not at all an issue. I can ultimately attest with honesty that with everything thing Straight Talk has to offer, it has been truly an affordable convenience. And who could forget about their awesome rewards program that no one else can compare to. Thank you Straight Talk for offering a wonderful cellular service that can’t be beat.

Service good but don’t buy phones direct. I’ve been using this service for about 5 years straight now and throughout the states (Midwest primarily ) there’s been no problem, good job on that, however I recently bought a newer phone directly off straight talks app/site instead of in person at Walmart, my phone after 4 days still hasn’t shipped out and me thinking paying extra for “2 day shipping” would have helped but nope, got in contact with their chat service and was told they ship between 5-7 days after purchase …. That’s just unacceptable … 3/4 days would be a stretch but could pass, you guys need a week … fix the shipping and communication then you’ll be a 4/5 star service UPDATE: Over a week ,and almost half, passed after purchasing the phone on their app and still wasn’t sent a tracking number, called first time and was told shipping takes a week.. fine, call the second time and was told it would be shipped out in a day, now I call today and was told phone wasn’t shipped, didn’t tell me WHEN they were ever going to plan on shipping, ask for a refund and was told I had to go through PayPal however I don’t understand why a product that was paid for never shipped after payment was received a week plus prior, just holding peoples product . Also costumer service is bad….. I’m switching service after 5 years, this is unacceptable 🤦🏾‍♂️

App decent but the company is a joke. App was decent to use though was a pain in the rear to access account information majority of the time as it would constantly make me log back into my account. However, never be in the situation where you need to move the service I’ve to a new phone because of failures in the phone or a broken phone. I followed all the steps to move the SIM card over to the new phone and surprise the phone no longer worked after two hours. It would continuously say it could not get service from the Tracfone network. Don’t waste your money on this junk company that is just Tracfone under a different signage. Use a quality company like Boost, Verizon, or AT&T instead. At least their customer service will better help you and correct issues than these clowns did. I was left with a $150 paperweight until the service ended as they never corrected the issue no matter how many times I contacted them about it.

Disappointed in what customer services called a glitch. Except for the past several months I always received text message notifying me that I only a week or so left on my plan before I would need to refill it. However for the last several months I have not received any notifications, the only indication that something was wrong was the loss of phone and mobile access, which has resulted in dropped calls, loss of internet while trying receive documents, or my current favorite; google maps losing connection in the middle of a trip in another state. After this last time I contacted a customer service rep and stated the issues I was having, I was informed that there was glitch or software error on their part and that was it. No solution, just a scripted apology, basically left in limbo. My family members and friends who also have straight talk still receive notifications; this is what I find annoying, how has a glitch on their end affected me and not members of my family who use similar phones and data plans. My rating will stay low until I have been given a detailed answer and solution to this annoyance.

Great service across the board. I receive great service for my phone and monthly plan always last and have complete service in my area. I live in a rural area and in need of great protection always and just knowing my phone works and in service is greatly appreciated. The quality of my phone use and service plan is awesome for the monthly rate. I always have great experiences when talking with a costumer service provider with straight talk always helpful and answer my questions and concerns they actually get the job done in timely manner. I recommend them to my family, friends, and. Coworkers. Thank you for being a great company provider for my phone services. I really appreciate everything and each customer representative i have ever spoken with you help in a timely manner and got the job done. This is very happy customer and will not trade out my service with another company a very loyal customer here for sure and pleased with all and not to mention the rewards have in placed just used mine to pay for monthly service bill who gives you free phone service for the month ? My phone service pays for it self that’s why I do appreciate straight talk so much and helping where it counts the most in my money back to me can see and use it when needed no questions asked or limit very nice to see my rewards pay off and pay a month service plan. Thank you vmckeel

Do NOT recommend. I never had a problem with the app until recently. The app started saying I was not putting in the correct password (which I knew it was the right one). So I clicked “forgot password”, i recieved an email with a link to “reset my password”. Now tell me why when I click the link it just takes me to the straighttalk home page??? So basically I was forced to call and wait for an available customer service agent. Everything went smoothly with the agent and was fixed as well. I recieved a temporary password that I used to log in and reset my password with. But then AGAIN today it is saying I’m not putting in the correct password when I’m putting in the one I just changed it to? I will for sure be switching carriers very soon. Straighttalk literally just takes you in circles.

Great Service with multiple carriers. Really have good experience with customer service but seldomly if not at all do I need it if your having a problem with your service or signal and they say you wanna switch to another carrier straight talk and make that happen for you as long as you have a compatible device been with straight talk for a good while now and plan on staying longerSince I am strictly using AT&T because of the area that I live the only issue I have is the hotspot is not compatible with AT&T devices so essentially I’m paying for features that I can’t useYou might try to use it and yes it will work but it will take your data good for an emergency situation if you need to access the Internet on a mobile device Great customer service great support and great for someone that switches out devices as much as I do and back and forth and so on five stars thank you

Deactive Service. I am using this service since 2012 to untill today, finally i decide to change its service because its to expensive for me , i wait until my service end to change with other sim carrier, after ending straight talk refill time, i try to swtich my number to another sim carrier but they told me the number is not activate, i call back to straight talk and i request to active my acoount but they tild me i have ti refill my account again to transfer to another sim carrier, its means after i refill i have to use their service untill 29 days again then only i can switch to another sim carrier, i think untill 90 days if you didn't refill your account will be activated. Straight talk never let you to transfer your number untill you refill, its not fair they think we should have to refill back again. I am confused about this service. Any body help me

My reward points are not doing right.. I absolutely love Straight Talk. I had this service for a couple of years before a friend told me about the straight talk rewards app, so I downloaded it and (although I don’t know how) I loved Straight Talk even more than I did ! Now I’m having one problem. I refilled my minutes 10/14 and I got 58 points but it’s not keeping track of my points right according to the “My Activity” button . I refilled, played the match game, yesterday. I did the poll and did the Get Social on Facebook but on my activity it says refilled for 58 points. When my points are fixed and working right then straight talk will be getting 5 stars ⭐️ from me because they are a 5 star ⭐️ phone service! Thanks for reading this and for looking into my one problem! I love Straight Talk ❤️

Horrible Customer Service. Been a Straight Talk customer for a few years now (I’m in the process of ending that). Their service comes from roaming agreements with the big carriers. In our area, they roam on AT&T, but that varies with the areas that they have contracts. To say that the problem with Straight Talk is their customer service would be implying that they actually have customer service. What they have is outrageous wait times (I’ve been on the phone with them for nearly 6 hours today), incompetent people that barely speak English, and those people constantly tell you “I guarantee” that whatever they aren’t really doing will fix the issue that you’ve spent all night trying to get them to address. The line that I’m trying to get them to fix hasn’t worked for over 24 hours and started with a call several days ago to them, where that person gave me the wrong information (which I questioned at the time because I thought it was wrong but “I guarantee you that it’s correct.”). 24+ hours later, 6 hours on the phone with them (the bulk of which was on hold) and the phone STILL doesn’t work. On a final note, when you get fed up with them (you will if you ever have a reason to contact them), count losing your number when you switch carriers. That’s where this is currently heading for us. At this point, I regret ever getting involved with them and hate the company with a passion. Hate to say that as much as I used to tell people to go with them.

About the straight talk service. Straight talk is a really really good service and they have good reception almost anywhere I would always stay with straight talk and I hope I never ever have to switch from straight talk I really really like this app because the app is great and it really helps humans are straight talk account and straight talk is always nice whenever they answer the phone they never have an attitude with anybody and it’s just a really really great service like I’ve done said that but it gets me going because I’ve had worse the worst services ever went straight talks been the best out of all my services even though you can only find them at Walmart they are a great guy

Much better options, customer service is a joke. We had a problem with the SIM card after spending 45 dollars on a prepaid package. The person at straight talk had no idea after an hour on the phone, the manager of electronics had no idea but acted as he did and referred us to some guy that had a kiosk in the store selling what we found out were overpriced, used phones. He was able to figure out the SIM card. We, throughout a week or two had three more calls with straight talk. They troubleshooted the same way as all previous, they did not listen to any relevant information we had to provide. After 4 collective hours on the phone with them giving us the runaround, we had enough and asked for our money back. As you could expect they said it wasn’t possible and told us to buy a new phone and they would “guarantee” it would work, with no actual guarantee. We asked for a refund, asked to send one of their “50 dollar phones,” and naturally, nothing but excuses and words of impossibility. They don’t have to have customer service, act like they care when they don’t, they’re generally not that bright and have no idea what they’re talking about even in regards to the product they represent. I recommend going with sprint or having a group plan to lower cost instead. This company is a bigger joke as a whole than their customer service branch.

Go back to the old app. The “new version” of the app that’s been out for awhile is abysmal. I received a random warning pop up with no context when I open the app. I have Face ID biometrics set up but it doesn’t log me in and still requires password. Fortunately I only have one device on my account because now when you refill it looks like it does every active device on the account. The “remember me” and “enable Face ID” buttons don’t do anything. Also when I receive my text that my service is renewed, it gives me the wrong date in the text. It gives me the date which the service was due instead of my new service date. Please either fix the bugs or go back to the old version. I’ve put off writing any reviews in hopes that this would get fixed, but it’s been ongoing for months. Otherwise, I’ve been with straight talk for years and years with no service issues. This bad review is related only to the app and a review for the App Store only.

Customer service is trash. If I could give them a lower rating I would their customer service is absolute trash and half of them have no idea what you’re talking about. I changed to their app Because for some reason on their website I could not choose a plan to add time. So when I moved over to the app it worked and I could I had time for my phone. After a month or two now I am in the same place again and it won’t let me add time to my plan. Spent a lot of last night trying to get this fixed and was told that it was fixed and they reset my password so I could get back into my account. And ask if everything would be OK when I can get back in my account only to find out that I still couldn’t purchase a plan. Which brings us to this morning which I was on the call with another young lady and after going through every step that she already said she told me that she would put a ticket in for 24 to 48 hours for the issue to be fixed well guess what I won’t be able to call after that time. I only have one day of service left and they wasted my time again. I probably will not be using them after this. I have never use worst customer service in my entire life. And I don’t know how hard it is to understand I can add time to my plan it’s not a rocket science to fix your app.

I would give this App a 5 but….. When I first started service with Straight Talk it was great. I had no complaints. When I discovered the Rewards program, it got even better. But after 2 years of being a loyal customer, I have come across some discrepancies. For one, I have probably referred over 50 people to use Straight Talk and even signed them up for the Rewards (meaning both parties get awarded points). But I have noticed that I no longer get awarded points nor does the other person. I have emailed and called about this and no one responds. Number two, the app crashes whenever I try to use the add airtime for a friend feature. Lastly, I can’t activate devices through the App anymore. If anyone from Straight Talk sees this and would like to respond, I am all ears.

Auto-Fill Doesn’t Work. Developers are too ignorant to make auto-fill work on iOS by using a junky cross-platform app solution instead of putting in the real work. Then you have sycophants on here talking about the phone service which is entirely irrelevant to the quality of the app. Stop being lazy and incompetent, and make this work as intended. People should be able to fill in their passwords by using proper domain matching at the login prompt and then not being irritated with having to delete a character at the end of the password just so the logic can detect that the input is populated. Stop congratulating yourselves on your HARVESTED 5 star reviews, and make the app something halfway decent. If the UI is this bad, imagine how insecure the back-end must be. I look forward to your data privacy class action lawsuit coming up whenever you get hacked!

The Baltimore Beauty Company. I use this service for my business line. I used to be a Metro by T-Mobile customer and I would say that the services are similar. The internet works best when I purchase the $55 plan because I am always on line and on calls through the internet line of my business. I have enjoyed their service because it’s dependable just like the company’s that you may pay a huge phone bill for. I recently had to add on more internet because I did the $45 plan last time but I have learned my lesson that the unlimited plan is what works best for me and my business at The Baltimore Beauty Company.

Pierre Mark. This was so much simpler to do on my iPad then the cell phone I purchase and use a straight talk to activate my services. When I try to do the auto refill enrollment on my phone every time I got a email sent to me I was immediately kicked off the site and had to try it again I did that at least eight times before I decided after talking with one of your representatives and he told me it couldn’t be done on my iPad I attempted it and guess what it worked just fine therefore you might consider training your employees On the necessary techniques to accomplish their jobs assisting their customers poor knowledge base doesn’t sit very well with me it was a waste of at least four hours of my time thank you very much please do not let this happen again to anyone else sincerely Pierre Mark

Definitely not “Conmitted to supporting” their customers. First, the app is very limited. Everything opens your browser to their webpage so it makes the app almost pointless. Most importantly the service all around is bad. Reception is terrible, lapse time in network after adding a new plan is ridiculous and they expect you to sit on a different working phone (as there’s no network on daily phone) for extremely long time frames while they sort through the issues, and worst fault I have experienced thus far is they offer very limited options for financial variations. They claim they are committed to supporting their customers - just not all of them. For example, customers such as myself who meet the requirements for free or discounted service but fall through the cracks because safelink isn’t available in my area. Maybe straight talk can’t control safelinks coverage area but they do control with whom and/or how many programs, entities, etc., they partner with. Committed equals ensuring no customers left behind. That is not what’s happening with straight talk.

My experience with Straight Talk. In 2016, I took a cross country drive from VA Beach to Redding, California in the winter. At that time, I was with Sprint. My two passengers were both with AT&T and Verizon. The driver had Straight talk. If it were not for Straight talk, we would not have it made it. We had coverage on the top of a mountain in Wyoming. Was able to use our gps through Nevada. Could make calls in the middle of the snow in Colorado. All said, that’s why I decided to join Straight talk. Apparently, Straight talk bings off of whatever coverage provider works where you are, something the guy at Walmart told me, I have no clue, all I know is my plan is affordable and amazing and my coverage is perfect. All I need.

Just Honestly Needs A Modern Update. Before I criticize, this is honestly the most helpful app if you are using anything tied to Straight-Talk wireless. Now the downfalls to the app are the dinosaur features. This app is in need of some modern updates. I’ve never visually seen an update to the app but I know there has been some bug fixes here and there. Your Wal-Mart though, and what we expect is nothing less than that. This app can be so much better, from simply just adding a feature of simplicity. Take a charge and fix these things, many of us, including me will definitely enjoy having this app take us to exactly where we need to go in a more timely and efficient manner. P.S. The web browser function should be taken out. It’s the cause of major lags. So I honestly suggest that you incorporate those features into the app and do it discretely

DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!. I have had a nightmare with this phone plan. I bought a brand new IPhone 11 and hooked it up with straight talk, thinking it would be cheaper and more convenient than your average phone plan from at&t or Verizon. The phone number they gave me was already being used! So I was getting a bunch of phone calls and texts for some guy named Zach! I reached out to customer service and they changed my number, and in the app I can see my new number, but in my phone settings, the number doesn’t show up and now I can only receive texts/calls through my email?? Anyone who doesn’t own an iPhone cannot contact me because now I can only get calls/texts through iMessage. I am BEYOND frustrated with this stupid company and I’m stuck with it until my phone is paid off. You are better of going through a normal phone carrier because this one will just give you more headaches than it’s worth.

Worst company EVER. I have had Straight Talk for over five years. They give you points every month for being a loyal customer, but it isn’t much. It took me five years to save up these points, and I used them to get two free month of service. But what happened? They took my points, but charged me anyway!! When I called them up about it, they kept sending my call to all these other agents who didn’t know what they were doing, until I reached one that just kept repeating I was all paid up and everything was good. I hung up on her deciding I want to end my service the following month. What happened immediately after? I start getting these automated texts, one after the other, harassing me! I kept trying to opt out, only for it to start the automated text over again!! I had to BLOCK the number!! So SCREW YOU Straight Talk!! I’m switching to another company, and I got a new phone, too!! I hope your company goes through bankruptcy!

Grateful 4 straighttalk. I LOVE this carrier! I bought the phone I have now w straighttalks sister TRACFONE n hated it!!! Found out that I couldn’t switch carriers even tho I paid full price for the phone n was SO MAD! Not to mention the crappy plans they offer then was told about ST and how it was the only other carrier I could switch to! And switched IMMEDIATELY! I am in love w all the great options that this carrier gives!!! The rewards program. The trade-in program they even offer autopay which is a way to get a new phone wo a contract and pay it out!!! So grateful for this carrier it’s saved me so much and I’ll forever be a straighttalk customer until I’m no longer able to be one!!!

David W Smith. This app is very simple and easy to use, I totally enjoyed it. There is no guesswork and is very comprehensive so I know exactly what I did and what I’m doing and what’s coming up next month. This definitely gets a five star rating. I only wish I had discovered straight talk along time ago the cost per month couldn’t be more reasonable and l went from $200 a month to $55 a month. Not that I want my bill any higher but I would definitely be willing to pay more if you raised it, like I said the rate is very reasonable. Every chance I get I’m constantly telling people about straight talk and for them to switch over from their high current plan. David Smith

Great Service!. I have used a well known cell phone provider for over 20 years. I feared that if I used a less expensive service provider, that I would lose service. I have went a full month with straight talk and have had the same great service. No dropped calls, no bad reception, no slow internet. So pleased with StraightTalk. I was able to keep my current phone and have the ability to purchase another nice phone when I want or if I ever need one on short notice. I also love that every month I know exactly what my bill will be… my previous provider would always promise one price but before I knew it I was paying $100 for each cell phone I had under my plan.

Looks good...Does not work.. I have had StraightTalk for I believe 6 years now, and had the app for around a year. When I purchase a card at the store, there has never been an issue. Once I downloaded this app, I have had to contact customer care EVERY SINGLE MONTH, sometimes more when it is not resolved the first time. The app is pretty, and seems to function well, but when I go to purchase airtime, it says something like, “Error. Contact customer services”. I have had 3 different cards tied to my account, all of which have had the problem, and no one can ever explain to me why this happens. All the time I have wasted waiting on hold and explaining the same thing over and over to very nice, but seemingly under qualified people, is too much work for me. I have deleted the app, and am considering a more convenient service as well. Sad, because I honestly get fairly good service with my phone. I just think with the offers available, it might be worth switching now.

Service is crap. I am with straight talk for quite a few years. I love my Apple phones. But straight talk keeps changing crap. I had an Apple phone that was compatible with Verizon towers. Then my service kept lagging. So I contacted them. They said they no longer cover Verizon in my area. I would have to switch to AT&T compatible phone. So I did. NOW I get the notification that they are joining with Verizon! Now! My AT&T compatible phone is lagging service! They don’t have Apple phones for sale on their website. Just Androids. But their advertisements they say you can keep your old phone, phone number etc. why say all that when they know there will be a lag in service. I can be in my valley and service is slow, go to the next valley over and I get better and faster service(and more bars) go to the valley over from that one and I get the same connection and bars as I do in my valley. What gives!?

False advertisement not unlimited like advertised. I purchased a “unlimited” $55 talk, text and data with 10GB hotspot plan for my phone. I paid my phone on the 27th of last month yet I have no data yet my plan is supposed to cover till the 27th of this month I called and spoke to a young man was told that my phone should be running on the slower data (2G) till the 27th I explained that I’m completely cut off from my unlimited data plan but that I understood if I was to receive the slower data but I wasn’t receiving it so I asked for the supervisor and I was told by the supervisor that I used all the data from my “UNLIMITED” plan and that if I want data I have to pay extra... smh I proceeded to explain that my phone is supposed to be on the 2G data plan till the 27th he said that they can’t provide data because I’ll consume more and that the system won’t allow me to have data unless I pay for extra data till the 27th. This is ridiculous unlimited is unlimited don’t advertise if you can’t deliver.

Horrible. If you ever have an issue don't count on this company to take care of it. This is a pre paid service plan and They shut my service off 1 week before it was scheduled too so essentially stealing 1/3 of my monthly service. I switched to another carrier A few days after they shut off service to my phone and had shut off my auto pay and they STILL withdrew the monthly payment for April...even though I'm not an active customer and shut off auto pay...their customer service line was no help at all and advised that they were with in their right to steal my money...this is theft...this is the worst company to have cell service with. I would HIGHLY recommend that no one work with them as they will shut your service off early, violate contract and steal from you..this isn't Straight Talk..it's Straight Theft. Keep your money safe and work with a better carrier.

Great for paying bill.. I love how I’m able to go in store in purchase n pay through the app. Very convenient and I also I appreciate the company for giving me enough time to do so. Today was my service end date and usually my phone is off by 7 or 8 am. It’s 12:11 and I’m just now paying it , I went to Walmart over two hours ago. So that made me feel good to be able to have enough time. I think the company should do that for all customers. Give them at least til 10pm of the service date to pay. Very convenient that way. I love my service as well.

My last review was deleted. This app makes it possible for straight talk to charge you double for one month. If you want to get your money back, takes at least an hour talking with customer service. And then it’s 3 to 5 business days to get your money back. Talking to customer service is like talking to a machine because they can only tell you their scripted responses. I’ve had this service for 6 to 8 years, and I feel like this company doesn’t value long-term customers. My last review got a response by the developer asking me to call to resolve my issues. My issues stem from the calls. This is the last month I will use this service because I feel that the app is so poor, customer service is rude, and a little by little the service gets worse and worse. The two GB data is very slow. So slow that you cannot order a lift or Uber. Nor can you use Google maps. Most of the time when you tried to use the two GB data you just get an error. It’s pointless to say that you’re giving people unlimited data when looking up two things online will drain more than half of your battery power, and it will take up to 10 minutes or more because the service is so terrible.

Easy to use. I love straight talk I’ve been using it for over 2 years now. I’ve recently started using the app on my phone which makes it so much easier. The only two bad things with straight talk is if you live in a certain area then you won’t have good service but where I live it’s perfect the other thing is I wish it was easier to get rewards points because it’ll take like 4 years of using auto refill to get the 4000 points needed for a free month of service but once again it’s better than most other carriers. Also I like I don’t have to do any of those 2 year contract bs like other carriers makes you do and I bought my IPhone from straight talk cheaper than I could find anywhere else. I suggest straight talk to anyone who has Verizon/AT&T towers around them (that’s what towers they use). Thanks straight talk for never letting me down :)

Trouble logging in after logging out. This was really a problem whenever I did get to buy a payment I logged out by accident tried to get back in an it said there was a security problem I had to call them waited for a about and hour never got a chance to talk to anybody tried getting help online didn’t do anything but redirect me to call them i had to delete the app and download it again just to login and have it work I bought a plan I’m still on now but it’s gonna run out soon so I tried to go and buy a new one same problem but the app was working fine since the last incident but now it’s the same thing this time I logged out on purpose deleted the app and tried to do the same thing but I got nowhere I had straight talk for the longest but this is unacceptable.

Enjoyable experience. I switched from at&t in 2015. I used my at&t iphone and converted it to straight talk. It’s been a blessing. I’ve bought 2 straight talk iPhones through Walmart and recently convinced my wife to switch from cspire to straight talk in 2020. She was with cspire for 20 plus years back when it was cell south. The cell service was not good and we needed coverage at our home so the coverage I got with straight talk at home made her decision even easier. The monthly cost is efficient and we are happy with our plans and costs. We recommend anyone to switch to straight talk because the phone selections are super and we are trying to convert as many as we can. Why? Because the points are an awesome perk and come in handy when we are in a financial bind. Thx straight talk. We love y’all

Dont deserve 1 star. UPDATE: I received an email about contacting Straight Talk about how they can “save” me as a customer and it was the same old stuff. I would have preferred my money back given that the new service plan I had was slow! Still got no where, they were not able to “save” me as a customer. I will NOT be returning or telling others to join this mess. I have had so many issues with this crappy service. It has gotten worse and I am sick of their lame guest services. They don’t care about helping customers out at all. I upgraded my plan and the internet service was extremely slow which makes no sense since I just got it and the same day I changed it, it was okay the. Really slow. I don’t even watch movies on my phone just do my Homework and look at fb for a little bit and call it a day. This is the second time this week I had talked to someone and the service is still the same. Next month I will be leaving if not sooner. This is the WORST service I have ever had.

Goodbye straight talk. My husband and I have been with this company for a while and yesterday was the worst. We had to call customer service several times because we kept getting different answer from each persons we talked to. After about 4 hours I finally had enough and talked to a supervisor who helped me. Why the call wasn’t escalated to someone who could help in the first place was beyond me. As soon as We decide on another company we will be switching. Also to the developer no I do not wasn’t to call customer service to speak to you all again just to go around and around for hours never getting an issue fixed. You really need to look at your customer service because price is not everything. Loyal customers expect and want good customer service where issues are fixed and we don’t have to call back multiple times. Oh and one rep told me they have a call time limit yeah they couldn’t help me any more because their call time limit was up. And instead of transferring me to a supervisor they hung up. Nope you won’t change my mind you lost a customer and I would tell other people that until you get your customer service in order they should stay away from your company.

Have had straight talk for years hardly any issues until... I don’t normally leave reviews but I use to never have any issues ever except a few things and even when that happened they were able to be fixed now ig whatever reason things on this app won’t even log me in I’ve changed passwords multiple times cause I’d put the right password in each time and still tell me it’s invalid or tell me it’s on auto refill and purchased a air time card on here everythin all ready to be put in motion when my phone ran out it was suppose to automatically do so but money is gone now and card is missing and ever since day one of downloading this app to make my life easier instead of goin to Walmart payin like 50 some odd bucks to get a card scratch of and put it in manually but no me trying to make things easier for myself and my wallet and paychecks but nope at least I never had a issue goin to the store and buying what I needed but since I’ve lost money from downloading this app and got money taken but it don’t got the card anymore let alone try to make sure it wouldnt shut off but nope no refund let alone nodda so another thing gonna have to write this and leave a 3 star use to be 5 then now it’s down to 3 unfortunately it is what it is I suppose

Not worth it at all!. 5 years ago I joined straight talk. Everything started great. I had connection everywhere. I had no issues. A year or two later everything went straight down hill. Not even down hill. It took a nose dive. When I went to refill my 30 days. Days on my refill would be missing. After a certain amount of time they are supposed to be able to unlock your sim allowing you to do what ever with the phone or join a new provider with the phone you paid full price upfront for. It was impossible to get ahold of some one to speak for for eight months! No one answers the phone and you’re always 90+ chat queue. Meaning 90 people are ahead of you to TRY to get ahold of some one. They flat out refused to unlock my sin after I had the phone for 5 years. I hadn’t even used a day of my very last refill and was refused a refund. That day I had already decided to switch providers. I do not regret switching. Straight talk is a complete joke. Start great, continue great. Don’t screw your customers. With the understanding that people where out for COVID for a while. This whole trying to get ahold of some one took place after everyone went back to work a places where 100% open. The “high call volume” at this point is an excuse. Either that or straight talk has some serious issues and everyone is trying to get it fixed. Personally I would save your time and money and pick a different provider. Like I said I had used the for 5 YEARS. Please for your sake and sanity avoid!!

Where did my data go?. I just moved to an area that doesn’t have fiber optics yet (should be another month) so I’ve been using a strait talk hotspot since my strait talk phone doesn’t have a hot spot) we filled it with 5 gigs on Sunday night (didn’t use it ) Monday morning I logged in to my computer to work and after 10-15 minutes it was out of data. After a frustrating call to their no service center (where every one is a manager, so you don’t need to ask for anyone else🙄) they told me they would have to give it to someone else and they would call me back. Once they called back they realized the data had disappeared and reset it. I pulled up a couple emails and was done for the night. Tuesday morning I logged in, used it for about an hour and it disappeared again. Another frustrating 40 minutes on the phone with a “Manager “ who was waiting for HER call center to answer the phone and talk to her so she would have an answer for me🙄 and all she came up with was “We need to wait 24 hours to see where the data went” so now that 3 days I haven’t been able to work even though I just paid $50 for data. DONT GET THEIR HOTSPOT!!! It’s not worth it.

Great app. This is a great app for the phone service it does everything you want it to do but there is one catch to it. You have to register and set up your phone or whatever you buy through this app otherwise you won’t ever be able to get into it. This I didn’t know when I bought my new phone so I’m out of luck. Iv had straight talk for years and had this app before this was a issue. I’m not sure why you can’t just jump in it later after you activate a phone but sadly you can’t so please be sure to be aware of this before you download the app. I know it’s tough to know this prior but if you got this message in time thank me later

Junk!!! 😡😷. Update: After my initial review I received an email from Frank directing me to a link to chat support to make things right. My initial to response after reading it was to trash it because it probably was another waste of time and effort and probably still wouldn’t get me nowhere. I thought better of it and gave it a shot anyway because I’m paying for a service that I can’t use and this has been going on for at least a year and now I have a new laptop I can’t connect my hotspot I’m paying for to. I followed Frank’s advice and link he provided to relive this nightmare again and was stopped dead in my tracks again. Now Fredy kept me staring at the screen waiting and waiting to finally tell me there’s nothing there anyone can do about the issues I’m having to call on a different phone and he couldn’t find no notes from Frank in reference to why I was there nor did he seem the slightest bit interested in making something right! 😡😡 This is totally insane!! I kid you not I’m not spending another dime on this trashy service as of the next billing cycle these clowns has got to go and guess what? I’m taking my husbands service with me too and don’t waste your time trying to stop me!! And thanks Frank for once again wasting my time! 🙄😡🤮

Trash Conpany. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANIES SERVICE. THEY LIE. 1. I paid for the gold plan and what shows up on the app is the bronze plan. 2. My talk, text and data were all at ZERO. 3. After 3 days of trying to get it fixed I was finally told Straight Talk never gave me the plan I had already paid for. 4. After it was fixed it worked great for about one and half days. Then my data slowed to nothing. 5. It says I have used all of my high speed data even though the cap is 60gb and I was at 15gb used. Spoke to 3 people, none of them could help me, and when they were suppose to text me a link I never got it. That means I have to start all over again. 6. Straight Talk has already had 1 class action suit against them for taking away data and slowing down data when they legally were NOT suppose to. WHY IS STRAIGHT TALK ILLEGALLY TAKING THE HIGH SPEED DATA I ALREADY PAID FOR AWAY FROM ME?????

Love straight talk. Way cheaper then Verizon an all other major carriers I was paying 89$ a month for unlimited version now I pay 50 a month for straight talk straight talk may not be quite as fast as Verizon but I don’t use my phone enough to pay 89$ worth that’s for people who have no life an either waste money because they don’t get there 89$ worth or because there rich and can afford it I only use my phone about 3-4 hrs out of the day straight talk works perfect for me for someone who stays on there phone 12-15 hrs a day Verizon 89$ a month may be what they need that or a computer I’m not sure but I can say this for the amount of time I’m on my phone each day straight talk is good enough for me

Rewards points. I just transferred for one phone to a new one. I tried to get into my account that I have not logged into in over two years to find out that it had the wrong email tied to my account. I had to create the email that was wrong in straight talks system just to get into my account to find out I have no points and not even my name or info in the system. I called to get everything fixed and they act like I’m a new customer lol even tho I have been a customer from 2013. I called multiple times to find out what the problem was and they can’t find and thing in their system about my account Even tho I have been paying with the same phone number and same credit card for over 2-3 years that I know of. Wow blows me away that they can’t tie my name, my phone number, my email or even my credit card to my account. I’m just wondering what response they would have if the FBI or other government agencies tried to look at my account. I’m really mad and worried at the same time, do they let a lot of illegal stuff happen on the customer accounts for not to be able to find basic info on just one customer??? I Would not recommend a reckless incompetent company to handle any information through straight talk or out sourced company they are affiliated with.

Very Frustrated. If you have not downloaded this app then I wouldn’t suggest it. I have had nothing but trouble out of it since I downloaded it. It linked mine and my mom’s accounts together somehow and I have been trying for two months to get this fixed. The app contains my email but her PIN number is the one they expect when I contact them. How does that even happen? They suggested maybe my mom had one of my old phones but nope not it. I’ve had my number for a total of five years and she has had hers for several years as well. If they meant phones specifically that would be a no as well since both were bought brand new and we still have them. After contacting them numerous times it is still messed up. I asked how to delete my account from the app altogether and was told that it wasn’t possible. If they don’t have enough control over this app to be able to fix an issue that their company made then they probably shouldn’t have an app at all.

Pics/Group Chat Compatibility Issue on iPhone. I’ve had Straight Talk for three months now. The service connection has been okay, call quality good, set~up was easy on my unlocked iPhone, and haven’t had any issues with customer service so far. So gave it a 4 star rating. The biggest issue is iPhone compatibility and sending pictures and message both individually and in a group to a non-iPhone user. None are ever delivered. It doesn’t matter what connection you have - full bars or wi-fi - it doesn’t send. I’ve trouble shot, checked settings on my phone, looked for solutions on their help center and on line but no success. I’m thinking the carrier is incompatible with iPhones’ OS, or only compatible with those purchased from them. Hoping there is a solution. My searches have come up empty.

shhs. so good

Even the manager can't help you 🤦🏽‍♀️. This app doesn't work! I tried multiple time using the customer service online to set up and they don't know what they are talking about.

$$$ in the trash. We (my boyfriend and I) both purchased Silver plan, but we cannot connect our devices (iphone 12) when it’s supposed to be compatible. We call the support line, they told us our provider in Canada is not covered by them so our purchases are useless. Can’t refund us, walmart won’t refund us. Straight Talk suggests us to buy a phone from them, when our trip is 7 days in the US. Or to sell the cards to somebody that will use them, we don’t know anybody in the US

Worst customer service ever. We (my girlfriend and I) both purchased Silver plan, but we cannot connect our devices (iphone 12) when it’s supposed to be compatible.

Stew. We are from Canada with very high phone costs, this is so easy once it is originally set up. Had trouble with that but I am not very Technical. Will use next time in US.

Terrible customer service. Upon trying to transfer my daughter’s number, which we have been trying to do for a month now, to a new service provider my call was “escalated” 3 times to a different department. Each time I was put on hold for 10-15 mins only to have my phone call answered and disconnected. Then when I called back to try to file a complaint about this absurd customer service my call was again “escalated”, put on hold and hung up on again. Absolutely horrible customer service. No one has called me to see if my issue was resolved. I really suggest straighttalk executives address the lack of oversight in their customer service department.

Reliable tablet data coverage. I have their T-Mobile tablet sim card in my Wi-Fi Plus Cellular iPad, great LTE/4G coverage. Useful to buy your data a month ahead and have it automatically switch to your reserve service on your service date. just works data coverage. Mobile account management app is very easy to use and user friendly... I'm going to be a long term tablet data service customer. Very happy with the service coverage and price. Haven't needed to call customer support yet but they're parent company TracFone is great.

Your app is the most difficult to work with. I’ve been trying to log in for days and can’t get into my account on your app because you think my account and phone doesn’t exist when I activated this phone through straight talk. I just want to pay my phone bill and you want to act like I don’t exist and it expires on the 10th I would like this issue fixed because it shouldn’t be this difficult to work with an app that won’t even let you log into it. I used to think this service was the most reliable choice now I’m starting to think differently because of this problem

Poor online and App. Been a customer for years. Service is good. I’m wondering when they’re going to permanently fix login issues. First I couldn’t log into my account through the web page. Agent couldn’t fix and was suppose to escalate after spending over an hour on a chat session. Was to receive an email regarding the fix, never did. I decided to install the app. Was able to log in one time. Now app doesn’t work. They have no issues charging my card for the monthly service, but seem to have no tech resolutions for login page that doesn’t work. I’m ready to switch providers. Issue has been going on for months.

So much high speed data. I’ve never had a phone plan with enough data to last all month. Even when you use up the high speed data and it goes to lower speed, it is fast enough to do anything you want. Even watch videos. Best service I’ve ever used. I have used the $45 plan and the unlimited plan and I have never had a problem doing anything I want on my phone. Even on your last service day it works fine. It’s a great deal. Thank you Straight Talk

If I could give 0 stars I would. $50 a month for spotty service. App blasts you with ads and sends a pop up asking to use your location every 10 seconds even if you allow it every time. It’s also incredibly difficult to navigate, and some of the links simply would not take you anywhere. I couldn’t transfer my number to another service without paying this service first, because clearly this service is falling apart and the only way they can get money is by scamming people (which is why I transferred to another one in the first place, so I wasn’t surprised). Just switch to mint mobile. You’ll save a lot of money and hassle, and your data will actually work instead of cutting out for half the day.

Can’t renew service. I’ve tried buying a new service plan using the app for the past two months and every time I try and add my cvv number the keyboard doesn’t drop down so I can’t continue with the purchase so I decided I’d contact the app developer using the App Store but all that link did was take me to the Straight Talk website which is not what I was wanting to do and I have no idea why the developer would use the Straight Talk website as a contact point because people don’t come to the App Store to report a problem with their phone service!! If I have a problem with an app I use the App Store to contact the developer and report the issue but I guess I’m SOL because I can’t find a way to report this EXTREMELY aggravating problem so this app is as useful as a screen door on a submarine!! Thanks for nothing Straight Talk

50/50. The service is generally great, however the customer support is absolutely garbage. Can’t speak with an American, was nearly impossible to get switched over from another carrier. Have had it for years now and went to redeem points as I ran out of hotspot data and it was absolutely horrible to try to redeem the points on this garbage app only to be greeted with not even enough points to buy anything but 1GB of additional data for my next cycle. Absolutely ridiculous why even have a points system. If you want to support India tech service and probably app development, this is the way for you! And now they are forcing us to switch to Verizon sims which I’m sure will come with a whole different set of issues..

They cannot stop emails from coming to my box. 6489 i’ve been with this company for many years don’t even know how long I updated my payment plan with my new information after my card was expired and now three times a month every month since I did it I get an email that says they are going to disconnect my service if I don’t update my plan. And they can’t fix the emails so I have to waste my time to call in every time to make sure they don’t disconnect my phone. Other than that they get a four-star

Easy to use, way more convenient. I love this compared to having to use my laptop. Some other providers I’ve used do have apps as well, but their apps are slower or won’t let you access some of the features unless you go online. It’s also easy to use and navigate. I love it! I always recommend straight talk to anyone who will listen. It’s an awesome service and the only provider I have had zero issues with. Good prices, Not too expensive and you get more than expected with the plans.

Wrong wrong wrong. I forgot my password so the “forgot password” sent me to the site that sells phones. After I finally figured out to get to my account, it wouldn’t let me in cause I’d forgotten my password. So the site offered to let me change my password if I filled out a form with my email. Then confirm email. After putting in the same email in both spots 12 times, I still was told my emails “don’t match”. I called Straighttalk by phone and after hanging around on hold and answering stupid automated questions, a rep said she could fix it. Three more calls later, and they gave up. I like my phone, I like the app. But where is “support”? I got none.

Super convenient!!!. Should have done this long ago!!! Been a Straight Talk customer for several years, as I have always hated the contract and high rates associated with your AT&T or Sprint plans... not to mention their spotty coverage and/or failing towers. I had the tendency to wait for my notice (or until my plan expired) to go buy a card and refill. Now, with the app, I can take a one minute break from my hectic lifestyle and refill from my app so I never let my plan expire again.

Various issues with this app. I have had no problem across the board with Straight Talk as a service, until I came into contact with this app. First, when I left a family data plan, it locked me out of my own account for months. Whenever I attempted to log in it would give me an error message, and whenever I attempted to use the support options provided, the text bank would never appear to allow me to enter info. Now in the latest series of issues the app will no longer load at all. It simply has a brief “danger” popup that disappears, then the app ceases to function at all. I am logged in and had fingerprint login available in case I was not, no prompt for anything ever comes up, it is just a blank white screen.

I m. I have had straight talk for 8 years not once have I had a problem with customer service. In the last year it’s been one problem after another. They admitted they made a mistake by charging my card told me they would refund me for the amount, I was on hold listening to the rep ramble on about nothing to whoever was sitting next to him for an hour i would say hello no response i then got disconnected I called back spoke with a different rep all of a sudden they didn’t know what I was talking about didn’t want to process my refund after they admitted their mistake. I eventually notified my bank regarding the issue. Straight talk you need to communicate better and show better customer service.

Switched from Family Mobile. Phone works fine for calls and texts. Internet is not nearly as good as T-Mobile is in my area (I know because I also have a T-Mobile phone which is far faster downloading and costs less) There was a time when Verizon networks were the gold standard… not so much anymore in the area I live in. If internet speed is important check the area you live in to before committing to a plan. All I can say is the straight talk speed is far from impressive in my area!

Login issues.. It won’t let me login, no matter how many times I’ve reset my password or reinstalled the app. It just won’t let me in. It tells me that login is not allowed using my email, and when I try to use my phone number it pushes me to the password page where it then tells me that my password is correct. I’ve had Straight Talk for a very long time, but the hassle they call their service is honestly frustrating. I’ve purchased the plan that allows you to use mobile hot spot, but it won’t allow me to set it up on my iPhone. So now I feel like I’m wasting money as well because I’m paying for a service that I’m not even being allowed to use to the fullest extent.

Great service, money saver, great rewards program. We used to pay close to $200/month for two phone lines. Now, we spend $70/month and haven’t noticed any difference in service. Update : we added a new line got 7000 points pending for two months, contacted several agents some would say will be available in 10 days, some said would call back, some said would be pending for 30 days then be available, some would say would be pending for 60 days. After 60 days, it just disappeared, we didn’t get to use it…

Don’t bother. I used straight talk for several years. Didn’t have a problem until I decided to switch to a new carrier. They rung me through the wringer. Terrible customer service, they wouldn’t unlock my phone. Told me I had to wait a year. So I did. After a year I went to unlock my phone (I was using an older phone in the mean time) they told me I still couldn’t use my phone because it had to be ACTIVE for a year and that the other person told me incorrectly . They refused to unlock it still and now I’m out a pretty much brand new phone because I refuse to continue using their service after this. What a ridiculous waste of my time and money. Would not recommend to anyone else you’re really desperate for a cheap phone service. you definitely get what you pay for.

Customer service is incompetent. I have a two line service with them for me and my daughter. Every month her service goes through with no issues. I always have to talk to customer service to refill my service when I talk to customer service. They are unable to help me. They transferred me to a manager and I’m given a whole bunch of incorrect reasons as to why my service is not refilled or activated. Everybody seems to have a different story. Long story short it is Christmas and I do not have phone service that I paid for. I am only able to receive and send text and have Internet. I cannot call or receive phone calls. Thank you straight talk for ruining my Christmas and my weekend.

SUPER EASY TO USE. I have Verizon and use them as well as straight talk for my personal phone (Verizon is for my corporation) and I can honestly say the app, the service as well as when you login to your account is WAY easier with straight talk than Verizon. I’m going to cancel my Verizon Business account when the contract is up and get Straight Talk for my business as well because it’s such better service and the app/account is so much more user friendly.

Long time user. I’ve had this phone plan since 2013 and it just gets better and better. Not only is it such a great price but I love that I have so much high speed data each month and unlimited texting and calling. The price can’t be beat and the rewards system is amazing. It’s extremely rare that I don’t have service somewhere and it’s usually somewhere that other people I’m with also don’t have service. I don’t plan on changing any time soon. ❤️

My experience with straight talk wireless. I couldn’t be happier with my service and another thing that I love is the way straight talk rewards gives back to its customers and the very kind and professional service staff in charge of keeping us happy thanks straight talk wireless for being number one in my point of view I wouldn’t hesitate referring this amazing service provider to anyone who wants something great thank you for all your hard work and preserving attitude straight talk team your happy customer Christopher Pettrey.

Look elsewhere for better service!. I’ll give the app four stars because it is set up and pretty informative, but still lacks when it comes to other cell phone carrier apps. Now is the service I would give them 1 star max. I have the most expensive unlimited plan and the very first month was absolutely stellar. After the first month absolutely horrible. They will throttle down your data Even with the unlimited plan to the point you can’t even search for directions with your with a Google maps or Apple Maps. I’m very very disappointed. I will update review once I speak with customer service.

Great way to get phone service. I have been with straight talk since about 2010. Just replaced my iPhone 5s with a new iPhone 6 Plus. I’m really liking the bigger size. Ok it’s an older phone but at $199 what a deal for an iPhone they are great phones. I haven’t had any problems with the prepaid cards. A friend who has a contract phone is always getting extra charges and she pays way more for the plan. Have no plans to change back to a contract. By the way it’s my only phone, I dropped my home phone. Social security only goes so far thanks for keeping the prices so low. Jim

Poor service has gotten worse. I bought a phone from this company and after approximately six months called them to check prorate for unlocking the phone. They will give no credit for the time of service because i used my old sim card. I used the old card because the new one was damaged. My data runs at .8 to 1.3 mbps consistently Even with the $65 plan. Day, night whenever. Web searches time out more often than they load. Customer service acts like its a joke. Ive used straight talk for around 5 years. Up until the last year seemed ok for cheap service. For the last year their service and customer service has continued to get worse. From hardly worth the money to embarrassing.

So much better!. Previously I have had quite the time switching my account to a different phone. This time around I purchased an unlocked, SIM free XR from Apple. I figured I’d have to fight to get my apps and accounts all redone. Nope. Literally before I could get my new SIM card registered all of my info from my old phone was transferred to my new phone by Straight Talk. I’m talking apps, contacts, conversations, even my alarms were transferred. This is why I stuck with them all these years. Totally worth it!

Never again!. I got the service because the guy at the store said he lived in the same town as me and got excellent service. My oh my was that a lie. I get horrible service. Sometimes when I go to use the phone it says I have no service at the top. Will be on a call and not even move the phone and calls are disconnected, all the time. Drive through town and calls are disconnected. Internet doesn’t work well either, basically a hit and miss. Checked with other locals as to who they use. Today I go to that provider only to find out that I have to have service with this provider for 1 year to unlock the phone to switch over. Never again will I get this provider! Selling phone if anyone’s interested. Not that I want to but because I can’t really use it here.

Absolutely the worst. The Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. I don’t know what these people do. I don’t know what country these people are from but they don’t know how to speak clear English they don’t know how to understand Clear English. I have bought two straight talk phones straight from the store don’t work. Called customer service only to hear that everything is right on our side. Well that’s great. Doesn’t mean that I have service. I’m trying to tell you I don’t have service and they don’t listen. Absolutely the worst customer service I highly suggest everybody get away from straight talk.

Review. I am so unhappy with the Customer Service of Straight Talk. I can never talk in person to a real person. If it does happen they are normally rude and often times are difficult for me to understand. I got a new phone with a new number and gave my old one to my grandson - whenever my new phone rang so did the old one. It’s like they are connected even though they have entirely different numbers and should be separate lines. Also I just bought a new iPhone 6 for my granddaughter about a week ago and still haven’t been able to activate it and get a phone number. We have pursued over and over = can’t talk to anyone == Really Really up set. Contacting Better Business Bureau.

Customer service help. So I’ve been contacting customer service for help day to day and I’ve just given up until I contacted the right customer service representative today at 12:45pm and her name was Presie and she had so much patience with me and she really resolved my issue unlike the other representatives that told me to go elsewhere instead of taking the time to really get to the source at hand and help with my issue. She did her job and for that she needs a raise and I give this review 5 stars because of her

Exceptional Service. I’ve been with straight talk for over 15 years and I still love it! The cell service runs off the best towers... like Verizon and AT&T. Hardly ever drops a call. Customer service has always been very quick, easy and exceptional customer service (sometimes it is difficult to understand them bc of the accent, but you get that anywhere). I would definitely recommend Straight-talk to anyone wanting to save money and not worry about added charges!

Deleting. Literally can’t even use the app, it keeps telling me I can’t login to my account using my email, using phone number or imei prompts me to create an account instead of login and then tells me my email is already in use, I know it’s in use I’m trying to access it! I’ve deleted and redownloaded and even changed my password and I won’t call to sit on the phone again for 2 hours while they transfer me all over, say they’re putting me on hold and it immediately hang up on me. Guess I’m just sticking to the website because I’m done trying to use this app and honestly might not even stay with straight talk period if any other issues pop up. Customer service is a nightmare, nice people but it’s headache trying to get anything done.

Multiple Unrelated Bugs Renders App Pointless. 1. Bought a new SIM card. Old and new are displayed properly on the website. Only the old in my app. And it’s blocking everything that I was capable of doing before in the app. All I see is a warning that they are upgrading the network. 2. Before I got a new SIM I could see my data usage but the login button has always been greyed out so It’s impossible to login via the app. So I can’t see rewards or anything. 3. I don’t know how this app has 5 stars. It doesn’t deserve it. In fact, it’s /never/ deserved it. This app has always been garbage riddled with bugs. A large portion of votes and/or reviews are probably fake.

Straight Talk is Smart Talk. Straight talk gets me better reception in places my co workers with other phone companies. Anytime I had an issue they stayed on the line as long as it took necessary. Example: my phone wasn’t reading LTE at the top of my phone so I couldn’t make any calls. Found out the ATT towers were down and by the next day it should work. So kudos to that CS rep for trying everything in the book even though it was out of his hands. Auto-Enroll could use a better discount though. Regardless, bought a used phone for $50 from straighttalk, still using it a year later. So that’s dope.

Great plan!. I switched from Verizon to Straight Talk. It’s So much better but, there are a few things to know beforehand that are pretty important! These guys use Verizon’s network but, be sure to ask if your phone or the phone you’re buying is set up for Verizon Network. I It really depends on where you live. I get horrible service with Sprint, att, T-Mobile. Just ask and they can tell you if your phone is acceptable to use on Verizon network I’m really happy with what they offer with all the choices you get with pricing!

Straight Talk Service and Rewards. I am enjoying a free service plan this month. I had to replace my phone and the free service plan that I got for registering my refills by refilling my wife and my phones both in the Straight talk app. Every month has Allowed me to take the money I had set aside for a phone upgrade and add an additional 48 dollars to it because of the free service reward. Without this straight talk app and rewards program I could not have done this. It is great the app is easy to use and my phone service is super. Thanks so much straight talk for your great service.

-10. Stars. If I can give them 10 negative stars I definitely would I bought a yearly plan Lord don’t ever do that it doesn’t give you unlimited data so they to ran out on my phone wasn’t even through the first month of the yearly plan only two weeks through bought more data for $10 and it voided my yearly plan what a freaking rip off called customer service for two weeks straight they either hung up on me or kept sending me to someone else and then they would hang up on me definitely the worst and after reading all of the bad reviews I see I’m not the only one they screwed over but I’m probably the only one that they screwed over for 500+ dollars

Straight Talk. Straight talk has been the best and cheapest prepaid phone plan against any other company in my opinion. I always have good service every where I go and with the straight talk app and rewards program you can even save more money! I’ve had this phone company for as long as I can remember and as the years past they always find ways to save money and have rewards for doing really simple and short task and you get a lot of points. My advice to anyone with prepaid plan I’d get straight talk over anyone else!

Bait and Switch?. I joined straight talk about a year ago, despite the horror stories I had heard in the past from other customers, mainly because they claimed to use the same towers as their top competitors, Verizon has the best coverage in my area so I was sure to buy a cdma capable phone, and all was great... temporarily... In recent months the service has declined considerably, often only getting 1-2 bars in area where I once had great service before and the unlimited Low speed Internet i pay for is more than stressful, struggling to play a short video clip - very disappointed this being my only online access.. After not getting any improvement from calling CC, I spoke to an employee at a nearby S.T. Retailer who informed me that S.T. No longer uses Verizon towers in my area as of recent-answering my questions about poor service... so much for their sales pitch.. And I’ve recently learned my phone is carrier locked for another year with S.T. Otherwise I’d switch carriers. -Splendid.. you would think there would be some type of retribution/ but nope... “Can you hear me Now!?!” Pfft..

I LOVE STRAIGHT TALK!. I used to use prepaid years ago for a really long time because i personally thought it was cheaper and more convienient than having a plan, and boy was i wrong! For about 1/3 of the price i was paying for unlimited everything with at&t, i still have the exact same service i had through at&t, but for a fraction of the cost! I reccomend straight talk to everyone whos thinking about switching service plans. I am very impressed with how quick and easy it is to use! Thanks straight talk!!! -one very satisfied customer

Useless. I constantly get tangled up in multiple errors with the app that never seem to go away with any updates. Logging in is a chore and a hassle as it never actually saves your password or keeps you logged in on the app. Always telling me my password is wrong, or my keyboard becomes frozen and I can’t finalize a payment. Every time I re-open the app I have to go through the process of logging in again just to get my keyboard frozen on the screen when I’m about to finalize my info. It’s completely redundant to have an app so broken. Last month I had to drive to Walmart to get a service card because of the same issue that was clearly left unresolved. I would like to be able to have phone service, people! You DO want our money, yeah???? Fix your awful app.

Straight Talk Cellular Service. I definitely recommend to use Straight Talk for your cell service , it has tons of areas where the phone service works where many other cell services do not. It’s easy to use , different plans of service you can purchase and delete and anytime no questions asked, very affordable plans and accessories available, and you can earn points for vacations , free cell service , and much more. I’m super glad I have chose Straight Talk.

Dysfunctional across the board. On top of having basic issues loading pages and accessing content, the “rewards” section of the app is absolute garbage. Spin the wheel is designed to look like you have an equal chance of getting any of mentioned rewards but you’re given the exact same “special offer” virtually every time . There’s no way this is legal…..they advertise rewards yet the rewards you receive are virtually pointless. I’d have to use this service everyday for years to accumulate enough points to get anything of value. Meanwhile you’re mining our information and data through surveys and polls. Straight talk has turned into absolute garbage and this app reflects that.

Started off mediocre but has gone downhill.. I never really had problems at first but lately, straight talk is straight garbage. Every single time I have an issue that requires customer assistance I end up having to talk to 3-4 different people because nobody can solve my issue. One time I had what I thought was a pretty simple question. It’s absurd. It takes forever to add air time and the reception has let me down on numerous occasions. Many times at the worst times. I just tried to add $10 global long distance plan. That was about an hour ago and still nothing and of course, the chat agent couldn’t solve my problem. I intend to pay my phone off ASAP, get it unlocked and get Mint. They get way better reviews. Avoid Straight Talk.

Service. I love straight talk, but I used to get service almost everywhere and now I barely have any. I have been with this company for almost 10 years and it’s been great service. These past few weeks barely no service. Wonder why? I’m only putting a 4 star because it’s been a great company but the one missing star would have to be for service. Please straight talk let there be better service wherever I go because I work from my phone! Thanks

Review. I’ve been a member for over two years now and I’m pleased with my service and the easy to use app! I just open the app and then I’m able to see how much data I’ve used for the month and I’m able to compare months to determine if I need more or less data initially saving money and not paying for data that I’m not even using! I also enjoy being able to do different poles and feedback each month to accumulate more bonus points for free items! However it would be nice if that stupid wheel would stop on something worthwhile and not my horoscope every day for the last two years! Just saying!!

No Refill Reminder!. My husband and I have been with Straight Talk for about four months and I love the plan, but it was a nightmare to setup but what prompted the review was our phones were disconnected with zero reminder! I had forgotten that my debit card expired and Straight Talk just disconnected with NO WARNING. They did text me the day before bout referring a friend but not about my debit card expiring. My husband drives trucks for a living and he was on the road before we realized that our phones were off! This is the concern I had with Straight Talk when my sister tried to get me to switch years ago and it took me until now to do so because I thought that glitch was fixed, boy was I wrong! So before I refer a friend, I’ll have to tell them about this.

Phone card plans. This is not a bad review just an opinion of mine ... I love straight talk no doubt i just think that instead of the $30 plan having only 3 gb high speed data it should be 5 gb and the $45 plan should be 15 gb high speed data and the $55 remain unlimited .. I guarantee you guys will make more customers happy and even make more money I just feel like it’ll give straight talk a lot more attention because those are some great non negotiable deals and on top of that the service is magnificent it beats T-Mobile,cricket,metro pcs, sprint , ect ... Just a suggestion of mine ❗️❗️❗️

Love the one year plan !!!!. Hey if you don’t like fooling with paying bills every month, renewing annually is great. You pay one time a year and forget about it until the next year. Wish straight talk though would consider adding a bit more data to the ones of us that do use the annual plans. I watched one college baseball game at the beginning of the month and used almost 2/3rds of my data for that. Ive had to watch my data closely to keep from running out. What is bad about it is that I normally leave 80% of my data on the table and don’t get any credit for it. Thanks

Finally happy. I have an IPhone 6 and it is nice to have a plan that is convenient and don’t get overcharged for. Now that Christmas is literally right around the corner I have found myself low on funds but just because I have been buying plans and ranking up reward points I was able to use my points to keep my phone on. As long as Straight Talk keeps plans in my price range and keeps this rewards points system I will continue to use it. Thank you Straight Talk. Merry Christmas!
