Drops German. First time user and very interactive, easy to use plus it is also fun. Debating on if I should go premium would have to use it more to know.

Really enjoyable. It had the same effect those baby sensory videos with the bouncing fruit have so I’d call that a win

It's GOOD but could use an update. I usually don't write a review unless the app is trash or pretty good. Drops is a very good app if you want to learn the structure of a kind of language. For instance in this app, German is the language. Moving on to improvements....can there NOT be PREMIUM ADS every time I finish a session? Thanks. And, I think that's about it. I love drops!!. I have never been able to learn vocabulary so quickly! Repetition truly is the key, and drops has mastered this technique while also making language learning interactive through different exercises. I have never felt so motivated to use an app because usually the information goes in one ear and out the other, but with drops it sticks and I feel like the 5 minutes is always a good use of my time!

Easy way to learn a new language. I learned a little German many years ago. The app is an easy way to refresh what I already know and to learn new words.

Best language app. I’ve only used Drops for German-learning. Languages come easier to me, but this app has really helped me put all of my senses together to learn and remember the vocabulary. Best language app I’ve ever used! And I’ve used quite a few!

Really great just doesn’t teach grammar. I really love drops and I’ve been using it for a while now to expand my German vocabulary. It’s helped a lot with understanding people talking in German because I can hear the words I know and fill in the rest. It has been difficult learning how to speak German myself because this app doesn’t teach you grammar, but I’ve been using other things for that. It would be really nice to have it all on one app in one place, but I understand it must be incredibly difficult to make an app of this quality and it’s helped me a lot!

Fast pace with control. You can control the pace of the lesson or it can be very fast-paced it’s up to you. It uses repetition and simple graphics that don’t distract.

Great. This app does not give lessons on grammar, but the way they teach vocabulary is very effective. Sometimes I wish time was longer and that I could open more categories much faster, but the pacing is probably for my own good.

Does what it does well. Drops does what it does well - introduces you to new words by category and drills them into you. It doesn’t teach you a language, per say (grammar, sentence structure, speaking) but it does help provide one of the building blocks - vocabulary; that it does very well.

Fun and engaging way to learn.. Really fun and engaging techniques to help you learn new words and remember them. Very innovative approach to helping one build their vocabulary in a new language! Thank you for the awesome application.

Good. Very good app but I wish it would have a type of dictionary of words you learned so if you forgot a meaning or how to pronounce it or spell it you could check your dictionary of words you learned so it would be easier to remember words more easily

Subscription. Fantastic program. Had a brief issue that was quickly fixed. The way that it operates seems to be very intuitive

Great language learning tool. This is a fun way to learn German. It has multiple methods for keeping your attention and making learning fun. It’s pretty much self paced. Would recommend it if you’re trying to learn a few basic things in German.

Not Bad.. I wouldn’t say it is the best but I think it is really great and helps me with my German( I struggle). Tbh here are some things they can fix: The amount of time(5 mins is not enough) The exercises(They seem hard for me) Otherwise, I like the puzzles and this along with Duolingo is great!

Drops. Let’s you learn vocabulary at your level in a way that is engaging and efficient. No dead time. Easy to follow and intuitive. Helps with knowing the written word on sight and by ear. Helps with pronunciation. Best I’ve found so far. I’m intermediate level, but this would work great for beginners, too.

So far. Just started today and I like it. I just wish it would let you know if you’re pronouncing it right

Great app. Overall a great app and have recommended, but when doing 5 minutes a day, it wastes time when you are introduced to a new word wasting where you have to wait and click a few times before it moves on

This is a rip-off. I signed up for a 7-day trial. I was billed for an annual subscription on the first day. I tried to cancel on day 2 but was told that my subscription was for one year and would not automatically renew at the end of the year. I am supposed to be able to use the service until renewal date a year from now. DO NOT FALL FOR THE FALSE TRIAL OFFER. This is about day 4 as I write. I will be contesting this charge on my credit card and with the Apple system. I just found this review option today. THIS IS A RIP OFF.

Almost perfect…. I love this app, it works with you on words on your level, it’s very easy to use and teaches the basics very well. The one downside is the payment concept, I could understand needing to pay for more fluent lessons, but having to pay for the basics is unnecessary.

Special thanks. That’s so useful way to study but i wish it would free to download other levels too, İ think education should be free to publish the knowledge and also some people want to learn but thay don’t have enough money. By the way this app improve my spelling and listening, thanks a bunch that’s perfect

Love it, & one tweak. I love the app. I use it everyday. I got hooked on the 5 minute segments twice a day with the bonuses. When the price dropped I had already been debating on the polyglot lifetime for about a month. I am so glad I bought it outright. I would love it if you could add some metrics such as time spent and maybe a way to compare with my friends. On other apps I can harass my friends who slack and give props to those who are knocking it out. You could do number of words... average word strength... words over 50%... streaks... total time...

Could use some sentence Structure stuff. I use Drops so i can learn more German outside of class, and i really love it. I love it so much in fact that I pay for the Premium offering. and it's great. however, i don't really know how to apply what i have learned. I have learned a couple hundred vocab but without knowing how to put it into proper sentences makes it feel worthless almost. what i would like to see added is an option to learn how to put sentences together with the words you have learned. i know this sounds like a lot of work, but people would probably be willing to help out (like duolingo). this is the only thing that's making me go to other apps after my 15 minutes of german and dutch. if you guys were able to implement something like this i can guarantee people would pay for it, and i would exclusively use Drops. 4.5/5 overall.

Easy and entertaining. I really appreciate the simple yet aesthetically pleasing format. Having the app remind you each day to do a couple minutes of vocabulary is a great way to keep up with a language!

Best vocabulary app ever!. I minored in German and Arabic in college, and later took part in multiple military language programs. I’ve seen them all. When preparing to take my family abroad I sat down and tried out six apps for building their vocabulary (and restoring mine). Drops blows the rest out of the water. Other apps have basically recycled old-school teaching styles with flash cards, lists, and quizzes. Drops adapts to the new world. The learning style is visual, auditory, and dynamic, engaging the brain. My family loves it. My teens are having fun and retaining the knowledge. I highly recommend the lifetime (Genius) access plan. It is a (really, really) good deal as far as language programs go. I think you are going to see others mimicking this style in the future.

Much easier. This one is a lot better I am very hard of hearing so sound does not help me. This app helps me a lot more

Good app for beginners. I love how it changes up the words and doesn’t just cover one work over and over again

Fun to play. I like the memory game style and the short lesson option, I just wish there was a way to check your pronunciation against theirs and a way to keep note of everything.

Time. I love it but you only get to learn for 5 mins then you have to wait 10 hours. The more you play the more time you obtain. So you could add a minute to five and get six minutes of studying.

5 star review. A great fun and easy to use app to help learn a new language. The 5 minutes a day to prevent cramping and choosing types of words you get to learn like food, family, music just to name a small portion makes learning more at choice.

Every Time. Every time I go to learn a language I use drops. And if you want to learn multiple they can give you the app for just a specific language and you can download multiple! Super easy and helpful for me to learn!! Danke!! 💗

learning mediums. Drop uses multiple mediums to learn a word and makes them easier to learn. Very different from other apps I used.

Drops is best language app. Whether just for a short trip with basis needed or actually learning another language this app is a WONDERful tool.

Interactive bite-sized pieces.. Good at its job, the 5 minute breaks from learning alongside the goal of the streak makes you want to get on the app everyday and learn. Imagery and pronunciation of the words also helps a ton. Overall a nice app for learning.

In my opinion, better than Duolingo!. This app is so much better than duo lingo. The only thing I like about duolingo is how you spell out the sentences with words, instead of pictures. An easy fix, just please, please, PLEASE have Drops use words instead of pictures! Like for example, have Bitte, and then the options to choose from are please, hello, car, and bye, and then you match it to please. You could also make another thing where you match please and the options are das auto, der buch and things like that.

Rapid practice to reinforce. Being able to practice quickly and in different ways is great. It uses line drawings of items, and it would be great if it also provided a direct translation to ensure that the pictures are interpreted correctly

Duolingo + Drops. Drops helps me learn the spelling of words better than Duolingo, where as Duolingo helps me with word and sentence recognition and spoken words better. I enjoy using both to learn the same language.

SO FAR POSITIVELY AMAZING!. This app, well like how it described in the previews, just work! Even the free version you get 5-10 mins of amazing learning time (i do this and other apps such as babbel and duolingo) and this is a great app to back up/ learn more of your launguage every day (note if i start to get displeased i will change my review to lower)

Awesome!. It’s great and time convenient! The app is super easy to use, even a monkey can do it! You just drag the proper answer to the subject questioned. I hope to see more languages in the future!

German. Moving to Germany, for job opportunities and decided to download this app to learn a few things, and have to say between it being in a game play style and the fact it continues to throw stuff from the beginning back in the mix periodically is amazing...... absolutely love this app

Well designed app, unfortunately very expensive. I have downloaded every app imaginable to learn a language and drops is by far the best. Perfect pronunciation of the words and the visual pictures for the words makes it super easy to quickly learn. Although, it’s a shame it’s so expensive. The deal for premium that drops offer is currently 60% off making it $15 monthly, $60 yearly and $250 for life. Keep in mind, that’s 60% off! If it was more affordable i would be very happy paying. Most people who want to learn a language just want a quick and easy way to spend a few minutes/hour a day learning it. Unless you’re moving to a different country and need to learn the language for a citizenship test I can’t imagine yourself or anyone else paying that amount. Apps are supposed to be affordable. If I wanted to pay that much I might as well be paying for language classes. Without premium you have very limited access. I have to wait 10 hours for another 5 minutes on the app. It’s designed to make you want and pay. Shame too, it really is a well designed app.

Learn German. Great sequence for learning: lots of repetition plus association of visual and audio stimulus as well as activities that involve producing the words. The gender of nouns is also provided; that’s definitely a plus. Suggestion:add a few phrases, not just single words.

Learning new words and phrases everyday. Really good app. I am using it about 15 minutes everyday and I am learning a lot. J am learning new words and phrases everyday. Doing their exercises over and over again also ensure you don’t forget what you’ve learnt and that it sinks in.

I love it!. I love this app, really, but if I had something to add to it, i would be that when we have worked long enough on a word, to be tested on it from memory, without any hints! As of right now, the most we are asked to do is choose the right letter between 5, but what bout writing it with a full keyboard?

In the first five minutes!. I’m the first minutes of playing I had already learned like 5-10 new words in a language that is already similar to English yes but it’s so well designed that it incorporates, visual, auditory and hands on learning. All this in a single 5 minute session, of which being the first. Thanks to the makers, and to the public (with a determination you will learn surprisingly a lot with this user friendly application.) Sentence structure. I love this app I’ve used it everyday since downloading it and it’s been a great way to productively pass time through this pandemic, one thing I think could improve the app however is some sort of way to help create and save proper sentences based on the words you have learned so far, personally I think it would be a neat side task even as just a bonus for daily play, after 7 days of playing daily you should hopefully have enough words to create one or two sentences, you could have two streaks “words learned daily” and “sentences learned weekly”

Literally love this so much omg. K so usually language apps have a paywall that you CANT get by but this one works just fine w/o premium :) also like it’s so cute and the voice is so happy sounding and I feel like I’m actually learning which is really nice. Useless.. Terrible formula. And the vocabulary is minimalist. Went directly to intermediate and the words were basic simple picture ID. Whoever said this was great had to have been the app writer who just took random words out of a picture book. Look elsewhere.

Won’t Open. Hey, so I got this app I order to keep up with learning German. Yet, for some reason, it won’t open! I don’t know if others are having this problem but it really puts a damper on things.
