GREAT FUN AND EFFECTIVE LEARNING. DROPS has upgraded their app recently it seems. This version is much faster and more fun than I remember from having tried it several weeks ago. A great way to learn vocabulary and be introduced to the subscription offers.

Fun learning. Love it so far just started band no complaints! When bored it’s best to just start playing and also a plus! Gain knowledge while doing so. :)

Love this app. Whoever designed this app knew exactly how to make it easier for anyone to pick up / learn a new language, and for anyone who needs a refresher on their native language. My fiancé who is very much American got the app because, we’re heading to the Azores this summer. Long story short. After a week of her 5 minute daily practices. I could make out / understand what she was saying in my native language. So, I got it for myself to brush up. To my surprise, I found myself learning a lot more then I thought! It’s a fun App! I can’t say enough good things about it... Get it and keep your mind stimulated. KUDOS to the team who made this happen 🤓

The snakes😕. All of the snake photos has made this app so confusing!! Way to many snake images. The app is great for learning and hopefully they change the photos to make it less confusing. There can be so many other images used for the words you are learning instead of 25 different snake pictures!

Have to get premium. It is a great app and I am super happy is has European as well as Brazilian Portuguese but you can only practice five minutes a day without premium. Five minutes a day is fine but I always find myself going over the same lesson every day because you must have at least ten hours between practicing for only five minutes.

Great app!. Re-learning my native Portuguese tongue. I was living between both Portugal and the USA, grew up speaking Portuguese and then stayed in the USA for school. Forgot a lot of my native tongue, but this application makes it quick to pick up again! Feeling confident and very good, especially since I get to connect with my roots.

Teaches you the essentials in non threatening manor. At first when is confused how they’re supposed to learn a new language but Drops is like being a first grader with a very nice teacher who makes it easy to learn the essentials. I like it. Perfect way to start for the true beginner.

Add a feature. I love this so far however, there doesn’t seem to be a feature, where you speak the word and you are instructed as to how well you pronounced it. Maybe the ones you are rated low on, are one that are practiced more. At the end of every lesson, you can do list of words / phases you learned. I think this will help someone get the pronunciation more accurate and a wonderful addition to the lessons.

I have many but this is my favorite. It’s really easy to accumulate vocabulary; I have not learned any grammar. I hope that comes later. I agree that it is too expensive.

Great app for building vocabulary!. This app works great. It's fun to practice with it, and it's one of the only apps that offers the gamified interactions that *also* covers *European* Portguese, not just Brazilian

Excellent tool to brush up on European Portuguese!. This is a great tool that moves at a perfect pace to learn, absorb, and apply European Portuguese vocabulary. I’m not a native speaker, but I am Portuguese and I visit my grandparents in Portugal often. This app is helping us connect more and is an excellent way to bridge the language barrier!

Helpful. Very helpful app! You need to pay for a subscription but those 5 free minutes are no joke you learn plenty and is a very fun way to learn Portuguese. I don’t normally leave reviews but this app is really helpful and teaches a fun way to learn Portuguese!!

Good for Portugal. What I like about this app is that it teaches Portugal Portuguese not Brazil Portuguese. This is good for when I travel to the Azores islands I can speak to my friends who know little English.

Love the app, hate not being able to use it. I started this as a trial and went through it fairly quickly and easily. It worked quite smoothly and easily helped me pick up a few words/sentences in Portuguese. Very easy to use. I noticed that it automatically charged me for a year at the end of my free session without giving me an option of monthly vs. year choice. Expensive! Then it asked for me to upgrade the app and I did, it froze on me and would not allow me to log in using my Apple ID. Inquiry sent, no comment back as of yet. Ended up going to Apple and requesting a refund. Basically, charged without being able to use the full services. ya, get that fixed and you would get full star rating from me.

It is so fun. I am learning Portuguese and each second was engaging and entertaining I love it and highly recommend it.

Great easy way to learn a language. What a fun way to learn a language! I just started and have already picked up a number of useful words. I think I’m going to enjoy this a lot.

Very good for spelling. This app is very unique because it does let you guess and then come back to the incorrect question until you get it right in the writing aspect. It makes you try and sound out the words before you can move on.

Great user interface. I really like the user interface and how they keep going back to past concepts and words randomly to make sure you understand them.

Effective. This program works well to expand vocabulary. I wish it could teach me verbs and conjugations.

Great app to learn basic vocabulary. I’ve used it daily to learn European Portuguese. It is the first app I use when I wake up and it guarantees that I start my day thinking in European Portuguese plus that I have gotten at least 15 minutes done. I can use it anywhere. Highly recommended.

Easy to follow and interactive. I’ve tried a few other language apps but wasn’t a big fan of the interface. So far I really like this app. I’m relocating to Portugal in a few months and this will definitely help me get off on the right foot.

Needs more verbs. I think this app has potential. I love the concept of using imagery to reinforce new vocab meaning. It’s fun to use. But after awhile it gets boring. I have gotten a word right like 20 times in a row and it keeps giving it to me. Also would be amazing to have 100 must used verbs as a category. More variety especially after the user has had success.

Very useful and easy to learn. I’m trying to learn Portuguese because I have friends who speak Portuguese and some of them can’t speak English. This motivated me to learn the Portuguese language and so using this app is very good if you want to expand your vocabulary, since they provide a wide variety of different topics and jargon for words in Portuguese.

I love this app... my mamão and papai are from portugal but they never taught me portuguese. this app has helped me greatly and i’ll be using it for now on. the only thing is that you only get 5 minutes a day... i feel as tho people should get limited time without having to pay.. besides that , great app!!

Everything is tappable. I like the interface with its swiping and tappability. I like how we swipe down toward the brain as the way to indicate that I want to learn that word. I like that as being analogous to downloading knowledge into my brain. I want to be able to replay the vocalizations which there doesn’t seem to be a way to do now—unless I missed it and if I did, oh uh, my bad.

Great starting point. I've found Drops to be very user friendly, and I'm learning a new language from scratch. The only suggested improvement I would like to see is help with pronunciation, as it's mainly for conversational purposes that I'm learning.

Very good. I am Portuguese and my entire family speaks the language I speak it to but it isn’t perfect so I downloaded this app to be precise and it’s pretty accurate to Portuguese Portuguese and not Brazilian Portuguese

I just moved to portugal and I will soon start school, this app is good, it teaches you many words, my only problems is that I can only do 5 min per day since I cant afford the premium, and it doesnt review the words enough, like I might forget half the words I learn, but a great apl for people who are eager to learn this new language
