Please fix. It's a fun game but I can't make an account to play online because it says "connection to server failed". Every single time I try. Please help me. I got payed for this game so I could play online.

Great adaptation of the board game. Well made app of the galaxy trucker board game. Campaign is fun to play and great training on rules and muscle memory while building ship, to later roast your friends at the game table .

Really fun and helpful as board game companion. The game is super fun just like the board game. The rules of the board game can be a bit overwhelming, but spending an extra five bucks for this app really helps one understand the nuance of the game. Overall, it’s really enjoyable and well designed game.

This game is so addicting!!!. I was skeptical about this game just like most other app games because I feel they aren't built to keep your interest very long, rather just something to entertain for a brief time but for me this game is wonderful! Now saying that I have never played to actual board game before but I have this a try because I love the ability to build and customize things in games and that's at the heart of this game: building you ship the way you want it to be; it can be frustrating when the pieces you need are taken but hey it makes it so much rewarding when you actually find them and build a great ship! The gameplay itself looks to be be true to the board game (I compared the gameplay to videos of ppl playing the actual game) and can last just minutes or hours depending on your game setup; sometimes this game can be challenging and other times it's a walk in the park because of the variables each game that always change. Overall I love this game and recommend it to anyone who has played the board game or for anyone who loves science-fiction and for anyone who enjoys customization in their games!!!

Bad support for iPhone 11 Pro. Unfortunately text and buttons are covered up on the top and bottom of the iPhone 11 Pro.

Easier Space Race. This is a fun space race because it starts with you building your own ship from a pile of parts. Yes, this take a minute to do, but younger to make it! Then fly your ship in a race with other players while getting attacked along the way. Pro Easy to play and learn Watch your ship slowly fall apart Turn based race so you can take your time making decisions Does not require internet to play Con Not super challenging, but lots of variety.

Great Game, but missing a number of features. It’s a great adaptation of the board game on the surface, but lack of some features can make it very frustrating. 1) Formatting. The game is not formatted well for newer iPhones with some elements hard to click on and read. It definitely needs some UI tuning. 2) Push Notifications. PLEASE ADD PUSH NOTIFICATIONS. Turn based games are way harder to play if I have to remember to come back and check the game for my turn.

Got me. I paid again for this game hoping it was a fixed version of the other game they had. Admittedly the other game was never that great, seemed a little boring but I still paid for it and wanted to try playing it online. That doesn’t work despite trying to change my password the server doesn’t work. I was hoping they fixed it and since they didn’t explain this is the exact same game just sized for a phone I wasted more money. And therefore I am being generous with just two.

Online mode still has bugs. We currently have an online Green glow mission, started by Vlysandor, with also hackenbacker, conmanjoe, and nitro9 playing. All claim that the game itself has finished in the lobby screen (when in fact, we have just started the stage 3 flight, having already completed a stage 2 flight). But when we open the game, it appears to be nitro9’s turn, and nitro9 herself is unable to turn over any tiles. This way, her 3-day reserve countdown clock before being dropped from the game is ticking, but we can’t do anything about it. Please take a look and fix, thanks! -keen trucker

Format off. Fun game. I’d give it more stars but it’s not formatted correctly for the new iPhone 11s. The whole top is my screen is blocked and I cannot read many things or see the other players I’m playing with.

Fun!. Great fun, nice mobile version of a board game. The sound effects and slight animations are a nice addition. The fast forward button is perfect to zoom through what you don’t want to take too long. Keep in mind that the main part of this is the ship build, it’s not so much about the flight as it is the building!

Great idea—but turns too laborious. It takes so long to make your ship— EACH ROUND— and the rounds are SHORT— that after about six times, I’m ready to call it quits... for a $5 app, i would expect a feature where you can buy a prebuilt core to your ship so you don’t spend forever prepping for each round. Please change that. I know when I play the board game with my friends, we have to change the rules because otherwise you’d spend 4/5 of the evening rebuilding ship after ship instead of going on the adventure cards...

unnecessary slow cuts and animations hinder a decent port of the classic boardgame. lol at the review on top tgat said you should be able to “buy a prebuilt ship.” I think you miss the point of the game. You’re supposed to build ridiculous ships. the board game is a scramble for tiles irl. That being said, why did the app makers think it would be fun to pad a really fast game with slow flavor text cut scenes and really slow redundant animations? yes there’s a FF button that sorta works...but it would be nice to have the option to play the actual game. also a drag that we cannot quit and restart where we left off without having to dreg through all the padding.

Constantly asked me to review game. I was going to leave a very nice review, but after telling the game I'd leave one later, it asked me after every...single...thing. Constantly. So 1 star for that. 5 stars for the actual game though. Support contacted me, gana send them a bug report on this issue. So they're addressing it, which is god enough for me. Still leaving the review up as is (with the addendum) but I've changed the rating to 5 stars, which is what the gameplay portion of the game deserves.

Very fun game with some room to improve the app. The game is a blast, but the animations could be a bit faster. Would be great to have a feature to skip a lot of that without having to continuously press the fast forward button.

Fun game, needs better support. Game play is fun enough, but multiplayer is interrupted by server disconnects and missing game notifications.

Great Game, But.... Ever since the iOS 11.0.2 update my game crashes as soon as the ship building screen loads. This happens every time.

Wonderful app adaptation of a quirky masterpiece. I haven’t yet played the cardboard version but this captures the back and forth of the game’s two very different but tightly linked phases. Not a game for everyone but I love it. Campaign is well designed. My only complaint is that the animations for each event can drag a little once you’ve been playing awhile.

Played a bunch. Pretty fun dang game. Never played in real life but if feels like a board game. Silly banter add on and great AI competition.

Does not work on iPhone 7+. This app crashes to “desktop” when I try to start a campaign game on the iPhone 7+ even though my OS is up to date.

Great for solo. The September update includes a bug that kicks you out of the app when loading a multiplayer game.

I have to pay double?!. I downloaded on my iPhone and I have to pay again to get the iPad version!

No designed for iPhones with Face ID notch in screeen. It is not designed for newer phones. The tutorial instructions are no visible because hide behind notch at top of phones X and higher. I also purchased the game on iPad and it’s identical. The words and everything too small. Why charge me for a pocket edition if it is not modified to be more functional at its small size. It should be sold as same version.

Excellent port of the board game. A faithful and well made version of the board game. Polished, great sound effects and sound track and a fantastic campaign mode to keep you building the most ridiculous space ships. Plenty of humor, had me chuckling many times. The designers and programmers did a great job bringing this awesome game to iOS. I’m having a blast with it.

App Crashes. It would be a great game if it actually worked and the IT responded. 2 stars instead of 0 because the game is fun when it works, only 2 stars because they don’t seem to care much as its been a week and nothing has been fixed. If something changes, and the game works, would be happy to change to 5 stars.

Cute game but Online is worthless. We bought this game to play together but can’t play it long enough to make a good read if its good. We only managed to get one game actually created and it locked up before I could build my ship. Every other time the games just crashes when you try to start the online game. So try at at your own risk if you want to play online.

Best board game app. I’ve tried Agricola aka multiplayer FarmVille.. 7 Wonders..Zzz. And a few others. This is one of the best. Has a fully fleshed out single player campaign with dialogue and routes. Lots of fun.

Fantastically original. I love games that can take a few basic components, very little extra space on my phone for story and levels, and make magic. This game is like nothing I've ever played, and if you enjoy procedural levels, this should do it for you. Lots of wry writing, inventive upgrades, and grinding strategies, aka "YOU fight the pirates". P.S. I put a booze crate where an engine should go and didn't have to use any. Bug? Awesome.

Really good. Little tricky on a small screen but I really enjoy it

A real gem. This is a very well done port of the board game but also adds a lot of single player content. It’s a very fun game of luck and skill, build a ship with the best scrap parts you can find and hope the dice favor you. Always peek at the mission cards after you’ve welded your first part, it’s vital to know how many cannons and crew you may need, and if you need cannons on the side.

Awesome game, very buggy. I love the board game and jumped right into the iOS version. Campaign is fun, and online play is great. However, the app crashes pretty regularly. There has been a time or two where an online game does something wrong such that my phone says I'm in second, but my opponent's phone shows that they are in second. Then when a decision card come up the game basically freezes because we are both waiting for the other to make a decision that were not being told to make. Also a little annoyed that I had to buy the pocket version for my phone and the full version for my iPad. That is preventing me from getting the expansion, as I don't want to pay for it twice.

WiFi required to play online...?!. I love this game and love the app. With the second-to-last update I cannot play online games unless I’m on WiFi. I get an error message saying I’m not online, even though I receive push notifications (which used to not work, so thanks for fixing that). In addition, the game crashes every time I try to peek at cards in a multiplayer game. Again, this never used to happen.

Great little game.. I love this electronic version of the card game. It plays well, is balanced in difficulty and keeps my interest. It reminds me of Escape Velocity Nova from years back. Worth a look.

Opening App Tried to Bill Me. I opened the app for the first time and I got a message saying Purchase Failed. I assume the app had tried to do an in-app purchase as it opened, so that is an instant delete.

If you loved the board game, buy this!!. It’s exactly like playing the board game but get rid of all that set up and clean up!

Cute but a Bit Boring. Everything works well (haven't tried internet play). Being that it's a port from an actual card game, it's a little boring after a few hours of play. Is there no way to turn off animations between turns? Takes WAY too long for the little astronauts to fly over and get their booty. Lost a star for hounding me for a review.

IPhone 11 Pro. Interface needs update. Status bar and buttons obscured by notch in iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Great Gameplay!. So far, I've only played Campaign mode, but I really enjoy it! Building a ship at the same time as everyone else is stressful and exciting. The Challenges are a great test of how well the building stage went. And the dialogue is hilarious. It's a really great world, with perfect graphics and quirky storylines.

Love it so far. Let me be honest, there is a reason this game has all 5 star reviews (as of Christmas 2014). It's a niche board game, if you like the physical version you'll love this, especially the add-ins in single player campaign. The game is well polished, accessible to new players, and full of the fun of the original. And yes, it looks great on an iPhone 6, probably even better on the plus.

Delightfully faithful implementation.. This is a really well done app version of an already excellent boardgame, the app really captures the humor and style of the game perfectly and the solo campaign is hours of fun.

Absolute Bliss!. I had never heard of the board game before (but then again I haven't played one in 15 years) but I was looking for a space/strategy game like Starbase Orion or similar. While browsing, this game popped up. It had 5 reviews and 5 stars, so I was a bit skeptical at $4.99. After looking at it, I said "EHH why not?". BEST MOVE EVER. While this is nothing like a 4x game, I am so glad I took that chance because this is the most fun I've had on an iOS game (and I own about 70). It has a killer campaign and the multiplayer is awesome. You could play this until the end of time and it still be just as exciting as the first time. It is addicting as all get out too! I somehow sat on the toilet with my phone for 40 mins today before I realized "Hey, you should move.." 😂😂 If your on the fence, or want a 5 star game, get this ASAP! You won't regret it, unless you end up late to work or something LOL

iPhone ‘notch’ breaks UI. The top ‘notch’ on some iPhone models blocks the top part of the screen, making things unreadable at times.

Fans of FTL will not be disappointed. Though this game is quite different from FTL, there are some similar concepts. That said, I actually enjoy this far more. I think this can be attributed to the different game stages: -grab for parts: like hungry hippos but with interchangeable ship part tiles -time limit: this is determined by the other players, when their ships are finished and all good parts are taken. -choice: throughout the game there is significant choice in what you do, which will determine the outcome of the game. There is so much more and I'm enjoying the 'journey' through space. :)

Sweet game. Galaxy trucker is super social fun, which is sort of list here. However, the game is really well maintained and even improved by heaps of silly characters and graphics. The campaign is sweet and peeps that enjoy it should defs get the cardboard version for home.

Great board game, great adaptation. This adaptation from the board game is perfect. All the features you love from the tabletop, plus a campaign with plenty of side adventures. And you don't have to clean up little pieces when you're done!

Great implementation of a terrific game.. The developers did a fabulous job of adding a campaign to the game while being true to the cardboard version. Good for brushing up on the rules of the cardboard game, and playing single player or remote games. This is one of the best board game conversions that I've played.

Best Game I Bought So Far. This game has more than exceeded my expectations. I played the board game version of this game which was good but the campaign on this app is amazingly better than the board game. Constantly unable to connect. Non stop "you need to be online to go to the lobby". Yet everything else works. YouTube, google, Facebook all load. Doesn't matter wifi or cell data, same issue. Force quit and reload - same issue. Then randomly it'll start working. Infuriating and not a good waste of time. When the game works, it's AWESOME.

Worth playing many times. Multiplayer and single player are both fun. Haven’t gotten bored after several days of playing. Pretty good considering i get bored of most games after the first time playing ;p

Works best on iPad. Fonts are way too tiny in this port of the iPad app to the small screen. I'll definitely keep the iPad version- it's fun! But I'll be requesting a refund on this iPhone version.

Great app, latest update reset all. The app is great. I love this game. But... Latest update seemed to have reset everything. All campaign progress is gone and all Game Center achievements are gone as well.

Great for playing with friends. Between the pass and play and the online connection with friends, it’s easy to set up and play games with friends in real time or turn based. Connection problems happen a lot but just leave the game and load back in. The game is always still waiting for you. Lots of fun.

Really well executed. They did more than just translate a board game to a video game. They added a campaign and a bunch of flavour. Gameplay is smooth,intuitive and challenging. Graphics are nice. I'd still rather play the board game, but this comes a close second when I don't have my gaming group around.

Pretty good. I'm an avid board gamer, but I've been played this. I'm pretty excited to now. My only complaint is I don't see why I'm not protected from certain shots or meteors. I just started playing today, but sometimes I have lasers, shields, and batteries and still can't avoid getting hit.

Tabletop adaptation brilliance!. As a huge fan of the board game I was skeptical the real time shipbuilding chaos could be translated but the designers did so in style! And the turn based addition is a welcome new approach, it adds a new level of strategy to an already great game. The designers did a marvelous job of maintaining the games humor and charm, all in a slick and smartly crafted package. I keep coming back for more!

Funny as it is fun. Just as the boardgame version is silly fun, the app version makes you laugh out loud. The developers started with the cardboard version but then added a whole video game around it. The campaign mode is the most entertaining game I have ever played.

Not normally a space puzzle fan, but.... I love this game! I've never played the board game so I can't compare, but the app is very smoothly designed. Much easier to manage the screen on an iPad but phone is still doable. Excellent interface, clever take on resource management. A real surprise and worth the cost.

Highly Addictive! Awesomeness!. I am a board gamer. I love tile-laying games like Carcassonne. There are very few games which capture the essence of the board game perfectly in a digital version. Galaxy trucker does this amazingly well. Best part - does not require internet and has a very small data footprint!

Super fun! New twists on the original board game. They totally mastered the usage of the board game's mechanics in this app form. Moreover, they designed a whole new turn-based system that's equally as fun. Also, the campaign mode retains the same humor and is the funniest 1-player app I've downloaded onto my phone. Cheers!

Love the game and the style. Most people either love or hate the cardboard version. There appear to be very few people who are on middle ground. I'm one who loves it, and this version is great because there is no setup or clean up.

Superb!. I love the physical game and this is absolutely a fantastic port to digital. As a player of the board game, I am so far completely satisfied and encourage fellow truckers to get it. It's especially welcome that it has a campaign since my friends only play handicapped with me anyway, so it's great to have bots to fight.

Solo fun. I enjoy the campaign mode. I can play single player and have fun doing missions not just fighting AI like other games. So you don't have to rely on multi-player in this app.

Would be a 5 star game with one change.... As it stands, this is a flat-out great game. It would be perfect if the player were given the option of using the turn-based ship construction tool for all runs. It's vastly more intuitive than the real-time interface, which is a frustrating mess on small screens.

Amateur Trucker. Building spaceships is so addictive! I am also playing this app to learn the basic concepts of the board game so I can play it with friends and family. I am having a great time.

Great mobile version of a fun board game. Love that I can play this online with friends or pass-and-play style in person. Nice that you can keep games going online without having to worry about taking your turns immediately!

Campaign surprisingly great. The board game is one of the best and the app adaptation is pretty good, but the campaign mode is very interesting -- kind of like the space alert permadeath characters expansion.

Great game; reasonable implementation.. Galaxy Trucker is a great game, and the implementation is pretty good—even downright clever, at times. This is CGE's first mobile game, though, and this shows in some of the rough corners and odd bugs. The issues aren't show-stopping, though, and CGE has shown interest in bug fixing and improving the experience. I'm hoping to come back and add another star at some point.

Best digital board game implementation. Great adaptation. Gives as much of the feel of the physical game as possible. Great cross-platform online mode. Nice tutorial. Worth the money for me.

Truck in'. Like the game and would love to play the hard copy board game. That's the reason I bought this game. But is anyone else annoyed by the animation. Adds too much time to play and most the time I just sit stewing and wishing I could tap my screen to speed it along. Otherwise great game and love the campaigns though they're a bit over the top cheesy too.

Best of board games on iOS. This app is right up there with Carcassonne as one of the all time best iOS versions of a popular hobby board game. Truly amazing implementation! Thanks for cleaning up the only fault this app had. Now this trucker can listen to all his jams while playing the game!

Tabletop Paradise. An excellent presentation of an excellent tabletop game. Had to knock off one star for the super-strict building rules, and a few more unlockables to spend those hard-earned credits on would make a good game even better

Great game!. The board game is a lot of fun and the app is just as fun! Love the campaign and the mechanics are wonderfully translated to the app. So far haven't had any problems with it either.

Just as good as the board game!. I've been playing this app for hours since purchasing it. Now, I'm highly anticipating the Missions expansion for the cardboard version! Disclaimer: I'm a Vlaada-head, and so adore everything he designs.

Good but can be better. Haven't had a chance to play the board game so it was nice to get to play the app version. The game is fun and you learn as you go along but there are some huge frustrations. On single player, there needs to be a restart option or a quit the mission that's actually clickable. So many times as being new to the game I made a bone head mistake in the beginning and had to sit through the round knowing I lost horribly. Not fun.

Faithful adaption, even better app. Galaxy trucker is a great board game, and this app does that game justice and then some. If you've never heard of the board game this app is still amazing. Everything from controls to animation are all top notch. Taking away the fact that this is an adaption and you still have a great phone game. Worth it.
