Tech good App has issues. The technology of the scans works great. There seems to be some technical problems with the app it’s self though. I was unable to create an account and after several calls to the support center, got no help. I also tried to email the support center from the app, the link doesn’t work.

Really good app. Love the app it can check when I need my scans , tells me when I need to take my scans , it gives me a time that is right for me to do my my scans, and it lets me talk to my dentist about my braces after each scan it also lets me see my progress while collecting badges on my journey

Great but needs bugs fixed. The app itself is phenomenal. Only issue I am currently having with the newest iOS or new iPhone is that it won’t let notifications be turned on. Thus not getting my reminders when I need to scan and have missed one or two to be on time. Just need to be tweaked but other than that everything is great!

Mid App. Sometimes it iskinda hard to get the edge circles. Also in my opinion i don’t know in the “see results” section which is the before and after because it does not label it. I know I might sound like a goofy karen but I just want you guys to know that this app is good but not great. After that it is basic and pretty fun in my opinion so yah. Btw this is written by a kid who does this and it is only honest opinions and plus you always need the kids answer because you know they are honest and that they understand the perspective of the other kids. Also since I do not want to get canceled I am only speaking on behalf of myself so please don’t get me canceled.

Discouraging Scare Tactics. For it’s purpose, the app is great. It’s easy to use and let me track my progress without having to consistently visit my dentist. However, I dreaded getting feedback on every scan. Every time I would get my results, I was always told that my aligners weren’t fitting well and reminded to have them in for 22 hours a day, but I could move on to my next aligners and they would continue to monitor the situation. I became concerned after a few weeks and asked my dentist why the app always said my aligners didn’t fit well. She explained that the app always did this because it doesn’t want patients to get too comfortable and slack on wearing their aligners. The use of scare tactics really demotivated me. I felt like I was working so hard only to have an AI tell me that I wasn’t trying hard enough.

It’s ok but could be better. At first I thought this was state of the art technology until I noticed the morphing function doesn’t update after each scan. I’ve asked several times for an update and apparently the main office is in France and not here in the US to get things fixed. After several trays, the morphing function to see those changes compared to previous movement isn’t working properly. I’ve asked my orthodontist and he referred me to the company directly and I still can’t get resolution. I give it a 2 because this was the feature I was looking forward to the most and it isn’t working.

Not great. The app states that their turn around time is between 2-12 hours from the moment you submit your scan until they get back to you and let you know if it’s time to move on to your next aligners. The 2-12 hours was only the case for my first couple of aligners. It now takes the app on average 15-24 hours to send any notifications. I find this unacceptable. I take my Scans at 9 am every Friday and don’t hear back until early Saturday morning. When contacting support about this, I received a run of the mill answer without actually answering my concern.

Great UI, Fast, and Easy to Use. Sending Scans of my teeth with and without my clear aligners can be hectic but through this app it’s easy to use with clear and concise instructions make it so easy, fast and painless. Every week, I get updates directly from my orthodontist to update me on my progress and are available 24/7 to answer any questions I may have. Recommend for anyone and everyone that chooses to have Invisalign treatment.

horrible. awful app. it deletes your scans randomly, and forces you to retake them. it doesn’t let you scan due to “storage” which makes absolutely no sense but whatever. it also takes FOREVER to upload scans so you have to sit and wait on the app for way too long. sometimes after waiting for it to upload it just disappears and you end up redoing it which is extremely annoying after you just deleted stuff from your phone to free up storage for the for the first scan and now you have to do it all over AGAIN. overall the app is very bad and needs help when it could be simple and user friendly. bad job👎

Convenient, Need to Update for iPhone 13. Love that I don’t need to go to the ortho all the time and can just send updates here instead. It’s pretty quick and easy to scan. I started this process with an iPhone X and now I have an iPhone 13. The X was so crisp but with the 13, the pics are so blurry, idk why it’s unable to focus (the phone takes good pictures outside this app). My ortho is still accepting the scans but might be something the dev team wants to look into. I’m using the ScanBox Pro for context.

Love the app, but some severe lag issues. I’ve been using this app for the past 12 months, and it’s been SUPER helpful and informative. That said, with greater user adoption and use, I’ve seen video upload times increase DRAMATICALLY, from once taking 30 seconds, now to taking 10 minutes. Time to invest in some additional resources! What’s more, the past two times I’ve submitted a scan, the app still tells me I’m late. What gives? Some updates are sorely needed.

Cheek retractor for ortho on the Dental Monitoring App!. The orthodontist sure have come a long way since I had them back when I was younger! This is a very convenient way for your doctor to monitor the progress of your braces/teeth during and in between office visits! It’s nice not having to go into the office so much and it’s all thanks to this app! Love that you can communicate with your doctor on how your progress is going and also view videos on how your teeth are improving with braces!! Haley & Hayden Guinn.

Excellent Way to track progress with Dr Gragg. We love this app and it very easy to use and navigate. We do the scans that evening and have a response the next morning before school. It has taken out the need to always take time from school and work and let the Dr check how he’s doing each week.

Quick and easy. Easy to use. Guides through each step and let’s you preview before sending scan. MDs get back to you fast like it is a live chat. I only wish it paired up with the Invisalign app as far as comparing my scan to the the projected changes per trays. But I see how for some that could be discouraging if forced to stay in an aligned longer than the 7 days.

Love the app!. This app is so helpful to me through my Invisalign process. It so great because instead of going in every 4 weeks to get my mouth checked I just quickly scan my mouth once a week and I’m done! I’m so glad I was introduced to this app. Also, if anything ever breaks(bracket for example) you can easily message your doctor through the app to let them know what happened. 5/5 Rating. I think this app deserves a 5/5 because it makes it so that you don’t have to go back and fourth to the orthodontist. This helps me and my family because we are not very close to the orthodontist. This app also deserves the 5/5 because it is very easy to use, you can message your orthodontist back and fourth, and you can how much your teeth have changed in a little video!

Incredibly annoying. This app is super frustrating. You HAVE to have notifications enabled otherwise it requires you to pretend you are enabling them each time and forces you to go into your settings. You cannot proceed with a scan with out this. (I have to use an old phone to scan because the scanner doesn’t fit over my phone case - and I have notifications set up on my actual phone - but don’t need notifications on BOTH phones.) You also can only scan when it allows. And if anything is off, even in the slightest, with your aligners, you get a condescending AI message and a “no go” for moving to the next aligners. And then random scan notifications there after with more condescending messages. Also has lots of pop ups of “badge” notifications and “share with friends.” Pretty ridiculous for adults using this or for children that don’t have phones/social media - not that ortho treatment should be shared with the world anyways. The badges may only be “cute” for pre teen kids but even then, they are highly annoying and unnecessary. I highly regret signing up for Invisalign and more specifically with my orthodontist that requires the use of this app. I wish I could give it zero stars.

Very Easy to Use and Saves Visits to the Office. My 14yo has Invisalign and his orthodontist uses this app. I really like the amount of time it saves us since we can upload how scans directly to the app and view the progress videos to see how well he’s doing. The game has completely changed since I had braces. We are very happy with this app!

Broken, no option to initiate a scan.. I download this app last week and an update yesterday. I went through the set up procedures and the full demo. On the home screen, when I went to take my first scan, the home screen is lacking the features (button(s)) to start the scan. There are NO buttons to do anything. I cannot scan my teeth. Again, I have done all the tutorials and a demo scan. My Home Screen does not resemble the one shown in the tutorials. It is blank. I tried removing the app and reinstalling the app with no change. I don’t think the doctor’s office can fix a software/app issue. How does that get fixed? My phone is a 12 Pro and I tried it on a 12 Pro Max, both of which have the latest iOS (15.1) installed. I have uninstalled it multiple times and reinstalled it, no luck. Please fix it.

Very Convenient!. Skeptical at first, and with many challenges the first time, I made several attempts to scan before success. Now the process is smooth. I like documenting progress from home and getting quick interpretative reports by phone and email. So far, so good. I’m pleased this method works for me and encourage others to enjoy the convenience.

45yo dad Experience so far. So far the app and liners have been working really well. I get my scan done when prompted and get quick feedback on my progress. The app, phone holder, and cheek retractor work really well and no issues with getting good images on my iPhone. The double tap works really well when working in front of a mirror. Dr Henson did braces for my sons and at 45yo myself finding the clear liners working well at home and work and seeing good progress. The recap showing your progress is helpful for motivation and definitely feeling that this is worth the effort and time.

Worth the extra money. Love this service. I was skeptical at first because I didn’t think the orthodontist was really looking at the scans. It was later confirmed that someone was actually looking at the scans in response to a question that I posed. It allows you to see the progress that is being made on a weekly basis. I believe it is my son more reason to keep up with his brushing and flossing as he should. I would highly recommend this program to parents of children who wear braces because it holds them accountable for their oral care.

Much more convenient than weekly visits. My twelve-year-old began aligner treatment and we have greatly enjoyed being able to scan and upload her progress from the comforts of home. The only con that I would suggest is that it takes a few times to get the rhythm of the scan and my daughter has had to retake scans often because she went too slow or too fast. It would be nice if it was easier to follow a pace. That is the INLY reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5.

So much gain and no pain. I don’t know if this is just me but I didn’t feel a thing when wearing them. Obviously I felt pressure but other than that it was going great and I am seeing improvement knowing that I have had these on the 7 weeks! I would not recommend this if you don’t want to have the trouble of taking them of when eating or just wanting to bite on a snack because I really don’t like to have to take my braces out when I want to eat lunch or drink some Starbucks but other than that all good! I highly recommend

Speaking from experience. Wow this is really amazing technology and saves me a ton of time… I just think I just saved in an hour and a half every time I do a scan instead of going into the office! I love my orthodontist but it’s great to be able to see him remotely for all of these small checks… Incredible that my teeth are being checked every week; I can’t imagine the quality getting any better and I have been a patient at several different orthodontic offices but bar none this technology blows everything else away

Loved the app but some features should be added. I have used the app for almost two months now. I loved how easily I can use it because of the simple UI/UX. Thanks!! But I have noticed three things missing: - Notifications: I am doing weekly scans and have only got one notification so far. Not sure why. In addition, it would be nice if there is an option to customize the time & date for getting notified. - It would be nice if at least three scans are used to create the progress comparison, instead of two. This will give us a better comparison. So maybe adding one recent scan in the middle would be great. - When sending messages, one word text like “Thanks” takes the screen width. It would look better if it takes the appropriate space. Thanks

Great app for many reasons !. There are many reasons why i appreciate this app. You can always see your progress with the change of aligners. It saves many drives if you live far from the office, like i do . There are constant reminders for taking your scans . And it’s very users friendly!

Keeps me accountable. Tracking the progress and knowing that I have a scan coming up keeps me accountable to stay on top on my aligners. I have been using it for a month and feel like it has made the process so much easier. I like my dentist but glad I don’t have to do checkups as frequently!

Convenient and gets things done.. I've been using this app for a little over six months due to my dental aligners. It is very nice app and saves a lot of time without going to Dr office. It does what it is supposed to. My recommendation is to improve the app during my scan. If my scan is bad, have me retake the scan right away instead of finding out in the review section, it's very cumbersome when you fiendout you have a bad scan, and you have to take out the aligner and redo some steps.

A Year of Fantastic Progress. I've been using DentalMonitoring for a year now, and I can't help but reflect on the fantastic progress I've made. This app has made my dental care journey incredibly convenient and easy. My teeth are still a work in progress, and I'm looking forward to another year of using DentalMonitoring to achieve my dental health goals. Despite a few minor usability issues, the first year has been nothing short of amazing. The app has been instrumental in my dental transformation, and I'm grateful to the dental team for their outstanding work and communication. With enthusiasm, I'm leaving a 5-star review as a token of my appreciation!

Good app, Things to change:. Overall the app is very good and It definitely helps with Invisalign. However it’s annoying how you can’t change the day of your scans or request to move them if you not able to scan that day. From kid athletes to adults with busy working schedules, this makes it hard for everyone to always be able to scan on certain days. I propose having an option or button to request or change the date of the week the scan is on. But besides that I am very happy with the app and can see my teeth improving because of it.

Great way to help monitor my teeth!. This app makes it so much easier than going to see your dentist. There is really nothing wrong with this app so I definitely recommend it if you’re trying invisiline or braces. In my opinion I find it super easy and it only takes about 2 minutes! I hope this app can help everyone else too.

Less time at the dental office!. This is a wonderful app. The scanner device allows my son to be in control of his progress without mom nagging 😂. The orthodontist is encouraging and can tell when my son isn’t brushing as well as he should (because Mom doesn’t know…🙄). After submitting a scan, my son looks forward to seeing if he can move on to the next aligned or not. I love not having to be in the orthodontics office every time you breath (like I did with my older son)! And although the treatment was excellent with my eldest, I think this treatment is even better with the scans and feedback from the app.

Why five stars.. I found this app not only helpful but easy, the texting feature allows any and all problems to be solved via communication directly to your personal orthodontist. The scan feature is super simple and takes as little as 2 minutes to complete yet it replaces a the hassle of scanning appointments. I am super happy with the entire process of using this app.

So far so good. I’m on tray 5. This app works awesome. No issues at all. Been keeping trays in for a minimum of 22 hrs a day. I water floss after every meal. I brush 3 times a day. Been super smooth. The system is easy and made at 3rd grade level so I think anyone could easily work it. If your not sure you can ask question. They get back within a day. Been nice. Very nice

Slow like 1980s uploads, datasharing glitches. After 12 hours of trying to get a scan to upload with zero success (troubleshooting attempts like cancelling scans, trying again with new scans x3, closing app and reopening, shutting off phone and restarting, checking OS was updated, checking with provider to get new email link to uninstall and reinstall app etc) I was at my wits end. My work requires lock screen to go into efect after 3 minutes, and app if goes into lock screen interrupts the upload. The upload was taking hours!!!! Each segment was often getting part way through and then restarting on its progress bar even when app wasn’t closed or going to lock screen. I have high speed satellite wifi, that was working uninterrupted for other people in the family while this was going on. Finally got a scan to go through by turning off my wifi and using cellular data only. This app developer must not have worked through some sort of permission or datatsharing protocol that would need to be compatible with my wifi. I have NEVER had an issue with any other app not being compatible with my wifi and find it ridiculous that these uploads will require my cellular data only to function (and that it took me stumbling into that solution on my own to figure out to make this work for my provider).

A Seamless Way to Maximize Aligner Progress. I am an older adult with significantly crowded teeth. I have always wanted to straighten my teeth and am thrilled with the progress the ScanBox Pro and DM app are facilitating. I am in my 6th week of treatment in “Sparks” aligners and have progressed to my 6th set of aligners. Without this system, the quick progression would not be possible unless I went in for appointments every week. I am a former dental assistant who’s adult daughter is currently in Invisalign treatment without a scanning device. I am outpacing her and my misalignment issues are far greater than hers. I couldn’t be happier. My orthodontist gives feedback on every scan without frequent office visits and is thrilled with my progress too!

Impressed. I have been using the app over a month and am impressed. The amount of time it saves me from having to go to the Orthodontist to get my progress checked is extremely helpful. Definitely would recommend. It’s easy to use and walks you through each step thoroughly. It also allows me to communicate with my Ortho if I need to. I’m glad I chose this route!

Scanning. Scanning can be a little challenging on last molars at the back. Usually it shows you that you didn’t reach the dot yet, but if you keep sliding it jumps over the dot. That last dot is always hard to get, meanwhile if you slide more, the device is getting off center and you have to attach the device to the phone again.

A good option, but a little inefficient. I’ve been using the scan box with the app for a few months now, for Invisalign, and I do think it’s a cool app. I like how my orthodontist can see my scans and send me messages and vice versa, and the app is pretty user friendly. The one thing I will say, is that it’s a little redundant, the order in which you need to take the pictures. First you need to take your aligners out and take a bunch of scans with them out. AFTER that, you put your aligners back in and scan with that. Usually for me, I do my scans first thing in the morning, so my aligners have been on all night and are at their best fit. I almost always get pushed back for a couple of days because I have to take them out and put them back in. Usually I have better results if I chew on a chewy for 5ish minutes (like we’re supposed to anyways) but the order that the scans are done in just end up wasting a lot of time.

A New Me. I’m one of those people who would look at a commercial about interliners and always wish I could do that or let’s get real wish …(I could afford that ) ! So here I am at 59 saw the commercial again and said well let me see if I can afford this ? So I called Motto and I was told to call Aspen dental near me in Knoxville ….Wow was that the best experience !!! When I got there it was a great thing from start to the end and I was walking out ready to start this journey! I’m in my 3rd week and love where I’m headed with my smile it’s worth all the pain !!! THANKk YOU MOTTO and Care Credit also Aspen Dental they all help make this happen which is a NEW ME !!! 😉I’m forever grateful for my new smile and my new confidence !!!!

Happy with app. This is the chosen app my orthodontist selected, so I don’t really have a choice. However, I love how user friendly it is. It’s almost impossible to make a mistake with the guided scans and I do enjoy being able to see progress with its little items like “Number of GOs in a Row” and the progress scan video.

Helps remind me about things that I have to do. When I got my Invisline my first scan was SUPER late but eventually I got the hang of remembering the date of my next scan. Now I have been doing well on my teeth progress, and badge progress as well. I enjoy the satisfying feeling of getting a badge for taking good care of my teeth. I have a small story about this app that I'd like to share. I was freaking out because the start scan wasn't appearing and I looked at my calendar to see if the date was right, then I looked at my Alexa and I saw the date and I realized that I crossed off an extra day. So my scan was on the next day 😂 I know this is probably not as long as the other reviews but I hope this was a good read! : )

This app got worse. I have been using this app since September 2020. Early on it was quick and easy to use. I was able to do it in minutes. With this new update, though, it is not user friendly at all. There is no reason that an app used for orthodontics needs to be updated and changed so much. I only use it because I have to and now I barely have time to fit it into my day. Not to mention the fact that I can’t get my old scans off the home page. I am forced into looking at my teeth while my scans take ages to upload. I used to have a Samsung phone that would upload in minutes but with my new iPhone it take well over 15 minutes to upload. Please fix this.

Would not get aligners without it. I can’t imagine anyone going through the aligner process and not having a weekly check-in. The feedback and communication I receive have been prompt, and very helpful in my progress. Makes me feel like I’ve got another professional resource besides my dentist.

Great for busy families. Dental Monitoring allows us to check in with our doctor from home. Less visits to the office and less time away from school/work for check ups. We have the ability to ask questions through the app and always get a quick response.

Awesome addition to our patient care. This is an awesome tool to view patient progress and quickly care for our patients when concerns arise. There have been many time when a patient had a question and we can explain or walk them through a correction by being able to visualize their bite in that exact moment. Love the update as well!

DM home records scan.. I absolutely love that I can do these scans myself on my time frame, and that my orthodontist is able to check my progress whenever is needed with out me going into office every 4 days. Love the reminders from DM when I miss my photo date. When time gets away from me a reminder is texted to me that I need to go and do these photos. Love seeing my progress as well. This is such a well thought out app for my orthodontist and for patients to be able to see orthodontic progress themselves. This app is so user friendly.

Great App. My dentist can perfectly see when my teeth are shifting and when they aren’t! It makes me way more compliant, and allows my dentist to better straighten my teeth. It’s super convenient, and allows me to scan, no matter where I’m at. My only complaint is that sometimes when taking your scans, it can be a bit finicky, and not make the dots go away.

Great app. We live an hour away from the orthodontist. This is a convenient way to stay on top of progress, communicate with the Dr. and make any necessary changes in treatment without having to drive so much. This is especially helpful because I don’t want my son missing school for a basic check in. If it provides enough information for the Dr., then it’s good for me. The video progress is fascinating, it’s my favorite part! My son is 15 and has aligners (Invisalign).

Review. I think this is very useful and helps me communicate with my orthodontist without having to setting up an unnecessary appointment. Scan process became frustrating. The app serves a valuable purpose but as a relatively long term user, I feel the latest update is a shocker. While the design looks fresher, the app feels dumbed down, and the actual scan process took me 5 times longer than usual, so it was a rather annoying experience. The previous flow was smooth and predictable, but I suspect this release will break the stride of all the longer-term users re: actual scanning step. The designers did not really consider this aspect.

One stop Shop. This app replaced consulting with dentist (well almost) during my aligner journey. Fully equipped with features to make journey so easy. Highly recommend it.

Great app for remote teeth monitoring. The app is pretty simple and straightforward - quite user friendly. Instructions given are easy to follow and the person who monitors the photos replies quite promptly.

Quick and simple to use. Such a fantastic way to keep up to date with appointments and progress without our lengthy travel time. Extremely user friendly my only one comment would be to allow a photo attachment/upload with the message system.

It works well, can't complain!. It's not like I have an alternative right? But it's easy to use and means I don't need to travel for in-person appointments, that's pretty awesome. Ever since my orthodontist's local office closed down I've had to travel to their either one which takes me at least two hours by bus and train each way! Good public transport is a godsend people, but if you don't have that, this app helps a lot. 😀

Super handy for monitoring Invisalign !. I love this app, my only thing is it can take quite a while to hear back if you can move onto your next aligners once you’ve finished your monitoring. Other than that it’s a super quick easy way to monitor everything without going into your dental clinic

Amazing Technology. This app is fantastic! It reminds me when I need to change aligners, gives me tips and allows my dentist and I to communicate all without the need to physically go into the surgery!

Mel. Easy to use, clear instructions and easy to re-do a scan I didn’t get right the first time.

Easy to use. The scanning function guides me through each step really easily. Responses from staff are really quick.

Amazing but…. They scanning of the teeth could be streamlined a bit, maybe by adding an option to skip the tutorials after the 3rd scan or something. There are some unstoppable tutorials that overall add a few minutes to the process of scanning your teeth to send off. Besides that the messaging system is a little clunky but that can be resolved from making some features more asynchronous. For example after sending a message a notification appears saying it’s been sent and I need to wait like 3 seconds for it to go away before I can scroll, leave the window or send another message. If this notification is made asynchronous it can be closed or ignored without pausing app functionality.

Bring back the older version. I appreciate the effort of developers but the new features are overkill. I don't need to be shown a video of how to take my tray off or when to bite down. I know I can skip those videos but why bother? Please add another option that can opt out the videos before every scan.

Easy to operate. App is so easy to use , it’s perfect that you don’t have to go every week to the orthodontist. Quick and easy which saves time

Mr Nicolson. This app is extremely helpful and easy to use, I work and live away 85% of the year and I have found is really helpful and an all round great app

Makes fixing your teeth a breeze!. This app has been amazing through out the process of straightening my teeth. Only had to go in person three times (consult, pick up the aligners and then the end). Been so easy to communicate with my dentist and have loved this process through the app.

Dental app. It’s really easy to use and understand. I can get it the videos to repeat anytime, if I’m needing it to. Much easier then I thought it would be.

Nothing more you could ask for. It’s perfect really, can ask questions to my dentist, scan is straight forward.

Great app. I am really glad the orthodontist gave me this app so now I only have to go in for a check in every 10 -12 weeks. The orthodontist checks if a brace has broken and you and them can see your progress. But the only thing I always forget to do it so maybe more reminders?

Previous Version was better. App is easy to use, however there was recently an update which has downgraded the service. The before and after ‘smile evolution’ video no longer provides a clear picture - due to the way the scan is now completed (the ‘after’ picture ALWAYS is blurry, whereas it was always clear in the previous version).

FANTASTIC!. I have been absolutely loving using the app, it makes it so easy, I don’t to go in every few months which is fantastic as we live in a very rural area and getting to and from the orthodontist and school is a lot of driving so being able to do my own scans has made my life so much easier!

THIS APP IS THE BEST IF YOU HAVE INVISALIGN OR BRACES. This app is the best when you come to keeping your teeth the best they can be you can do a lot of cool things like message your dentist(on the app)if you have problems with my case I have Invisalign and I get professional scans done at home and this app tells you a message when you can move on to the next aligners I STRONGLY recommend this app if your dentists suggest GO TO CLEAR SMILES THIS IS THE BEST DENTIST EVER LOVE FROM A INVISALIGN PATIENT

5 star app. It’s honestly so handy with this app I don’t have to drive all the way into town for a scan I can just do it on the app which makes it so much more helpful :)

So easy and reliable. So simple to use and reliable. Was sailing in the Mediterranean for 2 weeks so WiFi and phone service was poor. Took 13.5 hours to upload my pictures, but it didn’t fail or complain about how long it was taking. So I was still able to get info to my Orthodontist as the APP kept retrying to send the pictures I had taken until it was compete. I never had to retake these, which was a relief. I was expecting it to fail, but it was very reliable.

Convenient and user friendly. This app is simple to use with clear instructions. It makes the experience of braces much less inconvenient, reducing the number of appointments needed while also maintaining constant progress tracking.

It’s okay.. has its moments. Sometimes it works and other times it won’t let me take scans at all or send them. At the moment I’m having trouble with the notification alerts for the app.. it has the “1” above the app 24/7 regardless of what I do to & in the app. I can’t get rid of it and it is driving my ocd crazy Also the messages from the doctor are all over the place.. sometimes I get triple or double messages and other times I only get an email and nothing through the app Hope this app gets fixed soon, I still have a year left with my Invisalign treatment

Dental monitoring. I’ve found using the dental monitoring app super easy. It’s handy to be able to have my aligners monitored without leaving home and I’m achieving great progress so far.

Great App. Because of this app I haven’t had to go to the orthodontist for 3 months. My doctor can keep track of my Invisalign journey easier and more closest than if I was visiting every 4 weeks. Awesome job! Newest update is definitely better too!

Invisalign progress. Easy to use after the first time and you get the hang of it, very helpful with saving time and not having to go in and out of the orthodontist makes life a lot easier.🙂

Amazing app. I love this app so much it helps me with my braces and not having to go into the dentist 24/7 it is also really good with the chatting part if it so if I have any problems with my braces then I can let them know. Also I get to know if anything is wrong with my teeth or needs improving and is a really revolutionary way of doing be appointments. I love this app!!!!

Bad redesign. There was nothing requiring change from the old app, and now we have a slow clunky app which takes me 2-3 times longer to scan and I need to continually double tap the screen to progress with the scans. Upload time is now incredibly slow too. Glad I’m almost at the end of my treatment, wouldn’t want to use this for two years.

does it all. it does everything you need it to. I am half way through my invisiline and there has been only one problem and that was in regards to old devices 5/5

Was great, but doesn’t work with Scanbox and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Loved the box and app with my iPhone 11, but just upgraded to the 13 Pro Max and the box does not line up with the new phone. This means much of the image is taken up by the box itself, and the teeth outline during scans is in the wrong place. The progress gif of completely messed up. My ortho seems to be able to use the pictures, I assume by zooming in, but can a fix not be found using the in app camera to zoom and crop the image so the image lines up properly?

7year old retainers. My 7year olds teeth have improved after two month already. Simple easy, not invasive and no need to visit the orthodontist weekly. Amazing

Scanning Aligners. Very happy with this scanning process. So easy and saves the hassle of travelling to orthodontist. Highly recommend especially for people who are travelling or live long distance from Orthodontist.

Could be better. I would prefer if it let me choose the scan order. As it is now if you get up in the morning to scan you have to remove your aligners for the first scans then put them back in for the last but if your just going to pull them straight out again to go have breakfast you could have done that scan first then left them out.

USER-FRIENDLY ONCE YOU HAVE THE HANG OF IT. Took a few goes to get used to moving the scan box around but practice makes perfect. An orthodontic consult in the comfort of your own home makes life easier!

Super easy. This is a great app and so easy to use. I have a lil tip for those that are a muppet like me though. When you go to take the scan make sure your camera is at the top so the phone doesn’t block your view i.e. if you have an iPhone, rotate the phone left then flip it 180degrees ;)

Works great but no notifications. Love the app and it worked great until a couple weeks ago, i can’t enable notifications in iOS16. The iPhone settings don’t have an option so I keep missing reminders and messages

Interface update significantly harms usability. Incredibly annoying since they updated the interface. The process of taking photos and turning my head does not start right away like they used to. There is no indication or warning of when they do, so I know when to start turning my head. This delay between action and input with is frustrating. The instructional videos that play every time are repetitive and annoying. I would like to disable them.

I really like this app!. I’ve been using this app for 4 weeks now, and it’s really easy to navigate through. There are videos on how to do scans, it reminds me of when I need to do my scans every week and I get encouraging messages from my doctor saying I can move on to my next aligners. Great app.

A great app. I love how they made it into a game and you can enjoy taking the scan. I also love how your never in the dark about what to do, however it can be tricky to get the hang of if your doing it in front of a mirror by yourself. Overall I love this app and think it’s a great way to put some fun into orthodontics!

Great way to monitor progress!. I feel very confident in my treatment since I’m able to check in with the scan each week. I didn’t do real great on my first scan by myself, but it was still accepted and I’ve gotten better, week after week.

So glad my ortho has this!. Great tool. Very easy to scan with app. It’s really neat to see the progression pictures and comparisons. Also, it’s great to communicate with my orthodontist through its messaging portal. As someone who doesn’t live super close to their ortho, it makes virtual treatment/scanning super easy.

Greet Tool to keep my son engaged. My son really enjoys this weekly feedback. I think it keeps him much more focused on the short term goals. The apps is easy to use. My 12 tower old has no problems doing the scans in his own after being shown how once in the office. Wish this had been around for my first kid!

Fantastic. Quick and easy. Videos to take you step by step through the scan process. Finds missing attachments and shows before and after photos showing repositioning of teeth over time. Great to skip all those visits to the orthodontist.

This works wonders. I used this app for about a month now and there are so many cool things to look at with your teeth and you can even see the before and after of your tooth treatment!!!! 10/10 recommend if you have retainers or braces!

Easy to use. I have Invisalign and my doctor requested I download this app to use with my device for scanning my teeth every week. And it’s been very easy and efficient to use! Reminds me every week on time about my scans and the entire process runs smoothly.

No mechanism for fixing repeated rejected scans. This has only happened a few times, but sometimes the app automatically rejects photos repeatedly due to bluriness, and it’s usually just of the photos with aligners. On my seventh scan today and hoping I finally get an accepted upload even though all the photos look the same and the same as they’ve been for the last year.

DentalMonitoring app. My ortho recommended I get this app for Invisalign, I gave this a five stars because it is very easy to use and I really enjoy using this app. It makes my dentist appointments easier as I have less in person visits. Also, a really nice way to see how your teeth have been moving along overtime.👍👍

Fun app. I have found this app to be easy to use. It’s also so entertaining that when I’m scrolling around on my phone I visit it and check out my badges and look at my progress photos. Maybe I’m just a dork with too much time on my hands but I like it!

Incredible technology. This tool has allowed me to keep in close contact with my ortho since I moved out of state and they are able to guide me on when to move aligners etc. It’s also a great reminder for me being a busy mom and business owner.

Absolutely love just being able to wherever I am in the world take a quick three minute video of my teeth submit it to my doctor online and get an instant feedback on how my teeth are rapidly evolving into being more professional looking and hundred percent love my new smile let’s get it WHOOOP WHOOP!!!

User Friendly!. This is the program my orthodontist uses, and it could not me more high tech! It is extremely easy to use and navigate, and I am about a month into my aligners and I have had zero issues. I wish all apps could be so seamless! :-)

UPDATE: They fixed it!. My previous review in June 2021 complained about the freshly-added slower scan with pauses & more instructions. They listened! Now newbies or kids can have detailed instructions throughout, AND the Advanced choice lets me zoom through my scans again. Thanks, developers!

Invisalign. Not only am I'm happy with the app but also with quad city orthopedic. I'm seeing major changes in my teeth and because of this app I can keep track of my progress. Very satisfied and I have been trying to recruit others in bettering themselves this way. Thank you very much

Still new at this, but it’s pretty cool!. I found out that it’s really the app that’s doing a bunch of work! I mean it takes everybody, but the progress part is the app assessing and telling you to move forward. That’s awesome. We will see how the app is at the end…because if my teeth aren’t perfect…j/k. I’m sure they’ll be great! Awesome app 😊

Great app. Really good just a little bit annoying because the first time it took me like 20 minutes to even get one scan complete. It was really hard and the voice is really annoying but otherwise great app.

Need to show the aligners numbers. It used to tell me to change from what number to what number of aligners, right now, it just says change to the next aligners. I don’t know why you delete the number of the aligners, since it tells you directly which number you just scanned, which number I am changing to, also, it let me keep a record which number I was on at certain time. Sometimes the aligners number I am wearing or scanning could jump back or forward a few number, so it’s hard to track to.

Easy Peezy*. Using this app has been so easy and eliminated the normal headaches of frequent visits and checking in/out of school. I love the freedom and independence I have all the while making progress with achieving the smile I want. It is great to celebrate the progress each week and know that things are happening!

Great app. Let’s me know when to scan to see if my teeth are in the right spot without having to go to the office I can do it right at home plus if you ever have questions customer support will give you answers pretty quick. Amazing app.

Fantastic addition to Invisalign.. This app makes taking scans seamless and very self-explanatory. I love that there is the ability to review scans. The double tap feature on each screen makes the scanning process under five minutes. I really could not ask for a better user-friendly app.

It is good. So when you have to scan your teeth it is kinda hard to get the last one. Some times it can get annoying because you can’t always get the last dot and if you don’t have your tongue in the way it will say like move your tongue of something. But it is ok.

I live in a different state as my orthodontist and this app makes it easy to scan my teeth, submit and communicate with the right people about my Invisalign treatment plan. Dental Monitoring. Using the dental monitoring app makes it so easy to see how my child’s orthopedic work is coming along. Obviously I can see the physical movement, but I love getting the weekly messages from the dentist so she know how’s she’s brushing or if she needs to add more turns to her expander. So far so good!!

Great dental app. This app is extremely user friendly. Anyone can use it. It’s audio guide is great to ease you through the process of taking your scans. I also like the progress videos from week to week. I would recommend the app to anyone who is thinking of straightening their teeth.

Very Convenient!. Love that I can do my own scan at home and have to frequently go in for in office appointments. Very convenient, especially with a busy personal and work schedule. I also really like that I can see my progress in the captured photos.

Best App EVER. We absolutely love this DentalMonitoring app. We love watching the progression of her teeth moving. Several of our friends kids have had braces and they did not have this app so they never knew of anything was wrong until they went to their orthodontics appointment. This app is a must.

This saves so much time.. I’m a working professional, so I find this app allows me to see my orthodontist on occasion without having to give up precious work or family time. Very easy to use, and it guides you through every single step even in those times when you think you have it memorized!

Cool technology. This app has been instrumental during the pandemic to keep up with my invisalign treatment protocol without in person visits with my orthodontist. I scan pictures each week, the doctor reviews them and then let’s me know whether to stay on or change to the next set. It’s very user-friendly!

Love that we can scan from home. The app is great. I mostly like that we don’t have to go to the orthodontist all the time. I also like the message feature, and the before/after progress video. The only thing I don’t like is that I can’t see all of my previous scans. Besides that, it’s great.

Great app!. It works well, and I love that the orthodontist has the opportunity to check in on my progress once a week. Invisalign isn’t cheap and regular visits is time consuming. This app is the perfect way to ensure you are making progress and making every dollar count.

iPhone 15 Pro Max issues. I have upgraded from an iPhone 11 Pro to the iPhone 15 Pro Max and have noticed that now the scan using the scan box shows the image down on the screen and not centered like it was with the iPhone 11. The image also appears to be smaller than what it was. I don’t see anything that allows me to change the view of the scan.

Never forgetful!. Highly recommend for everyone!! As I have ADD, I am super forgetful as my brain moves at a million miles an hour. But with this app, I am reminded when it is time to take my scans and it always walks you through the process!! I’m not tech-savvy either, and It’s SUPER user friendly!!
