Nice. Instant radar

Great App. I like that the Twin Cities is the focus of the app. I find that the app is very stable. I am not having any issues on my iPhone 5S. It has all the weather related features the I would want, such a local alerts and warnings. Easy to use and has a great look. It is a winner, so far as I see it. If I have issues later on, since the app is so new, I will post that info here.

Video audio cuts out. Audio cuts out on video forecasts after a minute or so. Been doing this for months. Horrible nobody has fixed it by now.,

Sorry they won’t support after the end of March. This was great. Just the weather without all the other stuff. And it fit on an iPad. After the 31st, it will be the news app and that is only formatted for the phone. Sorry that CBS didn’t see the merit of this app.

WCCO weather. The weather person on WCCO, Lisa Meadows, is the best weather forecaster they have ever had! She should be the main weather commentator for the station.

Sloooowwww load. Love the content but it takes sooooo long to open! Can you fix that?

My Go To. I enjoy this handy reference to know what the weather is doing in our area or elsewhere. Very easy to use and is very accurate! The live radar weather map is my favorite feature!

Convenient: a 5+. I love this app. Not is it only easy to use, but it has a great visual display. I love how quickly this loads and how simple it is to find what you're looking for, weather it's the hourly forecast, or the weather a few days from now. This app also features videos and alerts right at your fingertips!

Videos don't update. For a month now it doesn't show most recent forecast video. Usually the most recent shown is the previous days or older! Please update!

Works, somewhat. Can’t play videos on the app. Please fix.

Good but always freezes. It has a lot of good qualities - photos, radar, hourly, daily, alerts, and way more. So it is good when it works. Almost every day it freezes and I have to use a different weather app. It would be nice to only have one app for weather not two.

App will no longer load on my IPad 2. The app just does not load on my IPad 2. It used to load very slowly, but not any longer. The Wink (Florida) version of this app works better. K

Love the app, but stop the crash. Last update to improve use of app and stop video crashes seems to coincide with a crash on start ups. Great app when running! Best weather app in a while

CBS. Problematic coverage

Not informative. The new CBS weather app went from a mediocre app to a terrible app. I’m planning on deleting it. Hope you listen to,the consumer and put the map back the way it was. In the meantime I’ll find a different app.

Great weather accuracy. But the interface is a bit clunky.

Worth keeping even though I don’t live in the Twin Cities anymore. is more accurate to my location and quicker and easier to get the information I need than any of the other weather apps I’ve used more accurate and useful radar and tracking than the main national maps responds better

Reliability. The WCCO weather doesn’t open 95% of the time I want to get my local weather. It was once reliable it doesn’t work or works very slow. I will be using KSTP or KARE 11 in the future. They work.

Why are you discontinuing this app?. The CBS Minnesota app is terrible when it comes to weather. The CBS MN Weather app is way superior! The CBS Minnesota is more news and ads which I have NO interest or desire.

No warning before iPhone 5 loses app. Apparently I can no longer use this with my iPhone 5 even though it says it works with iOS 10. Is this standard not to get a warning?

Needs captions. I love this weather app. It keeps me updated during the work day so I can keep an eye on the conditions for my commute to and from work. However, one suggestion that I have would be to see if it is possible to include closed captions in the weather videos! This app is great but it is not accessible to everyone. Please consider looking into this!

Frustrating forecast data. So frustrating to try and understand the daily precipitation data. The summary percentage never matches the percentages shown for morning or evening and I haven’t found an explanation as to why. As someone else commented, the other frustration with the app is it’s slowness in updating information. Clearly the app is not a high priority for CBS, which is a shame.

Update for March 31. I really like this App. I have already downloaded the new one, VERY DISAPPOINTED ☹️ I don’t find any radar, no way to set my exact spot. I guess I’ll just have to find something besides WCCO weather. Sorry Chris.

Love this App!. I’ve used this app from the beginning. Never had any problems. I especially like the Map feature. Video clips from previous broadcasts are especially helpful.

Great radar, poor hourly info.. No dew point, no estimated rain amount, just not sufficient info.

Good when it works. Information well presented it's quite a nice app. But it is very buggy and prone to crashing. The developer seems to have made no effort to fix these latest bugs. So to be honest, I wouldn't waste your time with this app. Still no improvement with the latest version. It freezes, crashes or tells me it's not connected. Apparently it won't let me post a review unless I give it a star. Tbh it's not even worth that right now

Seems Functional; Not Functioning. Qualifier: Since downloading the app last night, I have successfully used the app once. Once...of about 15 attempts. The other attempts were mired in app crashes, freezes, and other bugs. It simply doesn't work. And to be clear, the one successful attempt may not have been successful at all. I trusted it was working correctly since I could actually navigate in the app without crashing. It could have been giving me bad info. Still, it seemed like it had some potential... Otherwise it would be getting 1 star.

Poor design. The Good: I like the integrated and frequently updated videos to see the familiar meteorologist faces I see on WCCO. I also like the upload my weather photos. The Opportunities: This is another unfortunate CBS redesigned app. The app loads slowly while the navigation is clunky and not intuitive. I would recommend Yahoo Weather as best in class for a clean user friendly weather app. I feel this app was designed with little to no input from WCCO. You have the most watched news channel in MN but this app does not align with the WCCO brand in a fun, clear and concise message. This unfortunately will not be the most viewed app in MN. I look forward to the next version of the app update.

Latest update screwed up radar badly. All of the county-wide alerts now appear on top of (above) the radar, so you can’t even see the radar. Also, the color for severe thunderstorms got changed to red? Little confusing since tornadoes have always been red. Tried changing visibility to get rid of the severe weather overlay, but you can’t even do that. Map looks like unintelligible garbage now. Also glitches out hardcore when reopening the app.

Error Msgs. I keep getting an error msg every time I connect to the app using WIFI that I have to "retry" even though I know my WIFI is connected - FRUSTRATING & A WASTE OF ENERGY. Plus, I hate the Bluetooth warning!

Great app…discontinuing???. I see the banner is now gone in regards to discontinuing this app. I hope that’s an indication that it will continue. The WCCO news app is useless when it comes to weather. There is too much information to plow through to get to the info. I hope ‘CCO has come to their senses and will continue THIS useful app!!!

Awful!!. Awful! Awful! Awful! It's never accurate! Can't even predict hours in advance accurately. It said 0% chance of rain so I got my car washed. It literally rained 2 hours later, and hard rain! 0% chance eh?

Weather reports. I enjoy the WCCO weather reporters. Upbeat, hard working and informative. Burns, Osseo ,MN

Travel conditions!. This app helped us so much while we traveled in a huge loop through the western United States back to the Midwest during tumultuous weather times. Pulling a small trailer always was a consideration on roads we weren’t sure about. Thank goodness for this app!

Inconsistent Opening Lately. This app has been very reliable for me until a few weeks ago when I installed the latest iPhone update. Now the cbs weather app usually does not open even after I reinstalled the weather app. Frustrating because this is/was my go to weather app.

Why why why. This was a one of the best weather apps, and my go to app to get the most accurate information on Minnesota weather. Seeing that it was going away at the end of the month I downloaded the other CBS app that we are now supposed to use. It was so bad that I deleted it after two days. no concise way to see the weather. No meaningful information to see the forecast. Why is it we have to settle for not even second best when we have some thing Excellent that works great?

Updates lag hours behind broadcast. It takes way too long for wcco to load the most recent weather report videos into the app. Really defeats the purpose of “on demand” information. These should be available as soon as they are broadcast. The website has the content hours before the app. The splash screen at startup is also just annoying, we know it’s WCCO.

Woke me up in the middle of the night for a storm 2 days away.... Get a verbal notification from my phone at 3am on Saturday for a snowstorm coming on Monday. Really? You guys can't figure out that I may want a wake up call if there is a twister in my neighborhood, but not about snow 2 days away??? What a waste...

Local focus all-in-one. I like that this app has what I’m looking for (local conditions to plan around), without a bunch of extras that throw off navigation. I like the fast scroll design between the daily/hourly/map/video...

MANY PROBLEMS!!. App rarely opens....no current conditions when it does.....one star rating is way too high

Discontinuing a good app?. Why do I see banners at the top of the app telling that it will be discontinued and no longer supported as of March 31, 2023? Of all of my weather apps, this it the most accurate and easy to use. The alternative being suggested — CBS News Minnesota — is a bloated app, not focused on weather or school closings, etc.

Really?!?. This app will no longer be supported as of March 31st and I am sorely disappointed. Is was the best weather app available ane I relied upon it extensively, being I drive for my primary job and the weather affects how things go with my job. The app they are replacing this one with is completely substandard at best. WCCO ... You may not only have lost a user of your apps, but you may have also lost a viewer! NOT PLEASED WITH THIS DECISION! Even the built in weather app on my iPhone is better suited for my needs than what you have done here! Keep this app alive!

It crashes consistently. I downloaded this app and tried it out but didn't spend much time with it. It didn't crash though. Then an update came through that said it fixed crashes. Since then it hasn't loaded more than a few seconds before crashing.

Lousy weather app. Where's the dew point? Where's the wind gust speed?

Not a go-to app. This morning Tuesday around 1015 I pulled the app and selected the latest weather information. The only thing late about it was the video was addressing Friday through Sunday. I can do much better by looking out my window and checking online temps. Why does anyone post an app that is inept and futile??

Big meh. I expected better from CCO who usually puts out a nice digital suite. The carousel makes no sense. It's clunky and the UI needs work. App brings nothing new to the marketplace, if your current app has radar and a forecast then you have the same thing. Weather forecast doesn't seem like it comes from CCO mets but rather one of big weather COs.

Nifty app. A no-nonsense weather app. Cool "scroll" wheel feature for vid/ radar/ forecast

Crashes.. Crashes all the time. Update didn't work. Fix that flaw and would be the best weather app.

Unreliable. Weather information is worse than the weather on the news. Deleted.

Fail!. Worked fine on my iphone5 before latest update. Now it's just like a politician. Full of promise but a huge disappointment.

Quit Working. I liked this app the one and only time I got in it. Hasn't worked since. Freezes on the screen and then kicks you out. Too bad because I'm a fan of WCCO.

Love the app but..... I love this app! It actually shows details in the tiny town that I live, but it constantly crashes. If you could fix the crashing then this would be the only weather app I would use!

Radar Crash. Every time I try to see the map, it crashes. I was having problems with another weather app so I went with this one. I shouldn't have to get a new iPod! It's not that old!

Where's the dew point??. Pretty weak weather app for MN summers without the dew point! Relative humidity and 'feels like' temp is pretty useless to me.

Bugs. Keeps showing school closing a under alerts. Very slow and glitchy with this update.

Still freezes. After update today, app has frozen at first screen every time I used it. Was a full 4 stars before latest update.

Uncanny valley. I have over 200 apps. Not one other one breaks in with a creepy computer voice to warn me. I can look at my phone if there’s a notification. Deleted. Piss poor app. A violation when I am trying to listen to something. A thunder storm isn’t gonna kill me relax you weird amateurs

Works. Just saw it announced on WCCO at the State Fair so I downloaded and did a quick test drive of this app and it works good. I can get local hourly temp now. Thanks.
