Load more. Why do I have to keep clicking load more after every three articles. Worst app I’ve ever used and I used to have fart apps.

Update the app more frequently... Both KDKA and WPXI are behind on presenting up to date items. I do however enjoy reading your coverage.

Weather. The old app that you are discontinuing is so much better for finding out the weather. I don’t want to have to go through all the news, but I want to see what the weather map looks like. I am very disappointed. I am going to have to use this app instead of the old one. Actually, I will not be using this app. I’ll be hunting a new one.

Impossible to use. App runs extremely slow, slows down phone OS and barely works.

Weather. No way to view weather radar on new app

Kdka app. The app is good but for iPad the screen is very small and makes me confused and does not work on my iPhone which makes me mad… this would be a five star if it would work on iPhone

Go back to the old app!. Normally I don’t write reviews but seriously... I have to speak up here!! It crashes constantly and as others have noted it’s cumbersome to use and maneuver to find stories. Go back to the drawing board guys! 😩

Music. What do you have to ply music while they are talking?

Disappointed. As of lately I am unable to watch my local cbs news at 6:00am online. Now I am back to getting cbs national news. Guess I will have to watch another local news station online with my morning coffee on my patio. Disappointing. Please convert your app back.

What’s with this?. CBS (Pgh). Was very acceptable up to this last ‘update’ of site (news, presentation of subject and tec design). With respect to personhood, who put this presentation together? At the present, I barely even consider opening to this contact and yes, I spend too much time trying to make this work, trying to ‘ get the info’ that CBS was ‘supposed’ to present. Sorry!

WORST APP EVER. I gave this app 1 star because I had to it actually deserves zero stars! CBS chose not to support the KDKA weather app in lieu of this poorly designed app. As soon as I opened it I knew it was not a good substitute. There is no live radar maps, No weather warnings! I get a notification every hour about news not in my area but no weather warnings. Fortunately I downloaded a weather app from WPXI because it actually warned me of an approaching storm unlike your app. I have been a loyal KDKA watcher but with this app I will be finding another news station as well as deleting this app!

Slowest app ive ever used. Videos take 60 seconds to start playing and newsfeed freezes all the time ...

No weather radar. Will not be using new app for weather. No radar. Too simplistic. We are not idiots!

Weather. I want to set a default for the city and state on the weather app. Also, I liked the previous app that allowed me to save several cities and states so I could toggle between them. This is very helpful when traveling. I am now using WPXI weather app instead :(

No Longer Works. I have an old iPad for reading the news. The latest update broke the app for OS 12.5.5.

Constantly freezes IPhone 8. This app is seriously buggy. Needs work.

Consumer. The new updated app is very cumbersome to use. Hate having to keep hitting More News instead of scrolling down through the stories. Will use far less than the old format.

Good Solid App. Good app for the latest news, info and weather.

Senior Citizens. Some of us only have social security to live month to month from. No pensions, no IRAs We even have to buy our own insurance. I believe that once you retire your insurance and dental, eyes, perscriptions, hearing aides SHOULD BE FREE. We paid into retirement all our lives. And because of that, it should all be free , even TAXES of all kinds. My husband and I hat $1,748 per month. Out of that we have lot rent, his and my two health policies both, gas for the car, food ( because they tell us we make to much) lol. Then you have birthday and Christmas. So can can all the polical people in Government $98 for 4-5 weeks total. Try to live like we are forced to live on? My name is Mrs Ronda Hockenberry from New Castle, PA. Hangs up your phone. App freezes and alerts do not load. Hangs up my phone. I have to fully close the app to be able to use my phone

Radar APP. What happened to the live weather radar APP which also notified me verbally of severe weather in my area? That was a very dependable APP which I relied on

Half Baked. Can’t watch live CBSN news even though this is where the station says to watch it. Won’t load. Fix the app.

Not a fan of the new cbs app. Where is the “current” live weather map. The kdka weather app is going away but the cbs app doesn’t have the live radar. VERY DISAPPOINTNG! It used to be that I could open my local CBS app and see just my local news, sports, TV programming for the current day. Now I have to watch ads and search thru a bunch of stuff that doesn’t interest me. The weather maps are not as good as they used to be and the tv programming is gone.

Old app was better. I used to be able to click on a notification and it would take me to the news story. Now it just takes me to the app and I can’t find the story.

A+ New Version. I’ve always preferred kdka news and weather for my local newscast. Now I can be alerted about top stories and weather. Easy to view and the new version is what you wanted. Try it and see for yourself.

This Day In History Constantly Starts Running. I liked the old app much better. A month ago or so, anytime I would view articles for more than a moment, This Day In History would open up and run. I never click on it…it just opens up and runs. It covers the screen and prohibits viewers from seeing anything else. I emailed support and received no response. I have deleted the app and reinstalled to no avail. I suggest viewing KDKA news on a web browser instead.

The worst. Your app of 3 locals is terrible. Our go to news station is KDKA but hate your app

NOT an improvement. I have to agree, the new app is horrible. I’ll give it a few weeks but if no improvements I’ll be dumping it.

New CBS Pittsburgh App. I do not like the new app at all. I will delete it and use a more user friendly app.

Terrible app. This new app is horrible. The old app worked. This one doesn’t.

Laggy. It lags my phone if I have the app open it lags if I leave the app it still lags I have to close the app. Drains battery. Phone gets hotter than if I use a different app like a game and I am just reading the news.

No radar. This thing is terrible. I had to download this instead of the kdka weather app but it rarely updates the temperature and there’s no live radar. It’s garbage. I’m deleting it

Terrible. This app is not the least bit user friendly. It does not scale for use on a tablet so you need to squint at a phone-size image that doesn’t allow you to see any of the links on the right side of the screen. Swiping to try to see them scrolls past them. It’s hard to even find the weather. So disappointing!

0 stars. The old weather app which was just deactivated was great. The weather on this app is ridiculous. It looks like clip art from the 90s and rather than provide radar and current details it only has excruciating videos to watch. It takes too long. I want weather at a glance not videos to have to sit through. Also the news stories are usually lagging the actual news. Worthless, really. 0 stars.

Stupid change. Not easy to view

Trying to get info as to why KDKA is off the air?. I get 61 Over The Air channels and KDKA is the worst reception. Off the air for past two days and no indication from them as to a problem/reason?

Freezes. This app constantly freezes. Also, the “More” button is annoying. I finally deleted the app.

Terrible. Hangs when loading, doesn’t scroll easily, jumps into articles that were not touched, real time video hangs, way too many ads, and has crashed my phone twice. Deleted. I normally don’t post reviews this negative but I do so in the hope that I may save others from wasting their time.

Notifications. Need to be able to filter out notifications you receive. Just get way too many. 12-15 in the span of a few hours. Ridiculous.

No schedule. I was expecting to be able to find the tv scheduled- if is in on the app it is not obvious where it is It would be nice to set my cbs local to a specific city I’m a big steeler fan and would like to watch it on the app when I don’t have access to tv

Crashes. First an ad then crashes after 30 seconds of loading more news. Go back to the old app. This one is not even usable.

New app, same crap. CBS made us download a new app. What's different? I can't search for news by title. It's still the worst news app in Pittsburgh. No actual news just ads. Horrible

Quirky. Looking for contact info and it’s not listed anywhere. The APP itself is quirky and slow.

Very disappointing. The KDKA weather app has been my go to app for years. I am unhappy that it has been discontinued. This news app is a poor substitute. You haven’t made it easy to get the weather. The news app is not useful to me. It’s been deleted. I’m sad because I have always preferred to get info from KDKA.

Too Slow & Glitchy. This app is useless because it is so slow and typically ends up freezing my phone. Not worth the trouble in my opinion. I will get my Pittsburgh news elsewhere.

Teaser... not able to see breaking news. I like being able to get the alert on screen telling you there was a crash here Road closed here etc. but when you go to the app it starts the news. it does not go straight to that story. So they tease you into going to the app but you have to watch the whole news feed before you can see the actual breaking news you want to see!

Doesn’t work. It gives you up a minute notifications on things happening but once clicked it does not bring up the story. Useless if you want more than a headline.

I hate this app. I’m going to be deleting it and looking for a new weather app. The KDKA Weather app was the only app I used for weather. I just saw it is no longer supported as of 3 months ago. Only today was I prompted to download this useless app. No radar. No hourly forecast. Cluttered with news stories. Deleting. Goodbye.

Bad. Your changing a good weather app to this!

I hate the new App. The previous app was much much easier to navigate. I will now go to theWPXI or WTAE app.

Not A Useful App. The only real reason I got this app was for local weather.The previous app had a Live Radar view which is really nice.If I just wanted to see the temperature and the chance of rain I can use the weather app that came with my iPhone. As far as local and national news, I have a TV for that.

Want the old app back.. Not compatible with my iPad...not easy to maneuver around.

Dog 🐕 waiting at hospital 🏥 for owner. There was a very endearing story at lunchtime Friday 1/22/21 of a dog 🐕 waiting for its owner at the hospital 🏥 entrance for a week and the the dog 🐕 even found its way back to the hospital 🏥 entrance after it was brought back home 🏡🤗😊🥰🤗 I searched all over the Channel 2 website for nearly 20+ minutes or more and could NOT NOT NOT find the same story 😓😥😭😢🥺😩😫 I also have a very loyal service dog 🐕 , a Jack Russel Terrier , Patches, & wanted to have a copy of this very HEARTWARMING 💖❤️ dog 🐶 story 🤗🤗😊🥰

CBS Pittsburgh. June 16 2020. I put this new app in my phone a few days ago like the format however today it did not work a blank screen had to delete and put back in my phone is this going to happen again . If it does I can always download either wtae or wpix news app in my phone. The old app never had this problem. Kevin
