Love it.. I use this app daily and love waking up to my favorite radio stations.

Great when it works, but…. When everything works, it’s great, but lately about half the time it locks up, or just won’t start, on my SE. A lesser but still annoying issue is that my finger has a hard time snagging the sliders for adjusting brightness and volume.

Not reliable. Followed the instructions by turning notifications on and leaving the app open but the alarm only went off 1 of 3 times. When it didn’t ring there was just a notification from the app but alarm did not go off.

Misleading app description & upgrade prompts. This app is misleading about what is included in the free version (not the paid version), and also in how it tries to get you to upgrade to the paid version without telling you that's what you're doing. To be clear: the free version (i.e. the app advertised and downloaded here) does NOT include a weather forecast and only has 1 programmable radio button, not 9. Otherwise it tells you that iCloud must be activated (even when it already is) and asks you to "subscribe" to activate those features. Sounds like you're subscribing to some kind of data source within the free app, right? Wrong. The "subscribe" option asks you to log in to the App Store — at which point you are buying the paid version. It doesn't tell you you're making a purchase, and the prompts deliberately try to hide that fact. As does the description of the app here (aren't those features included?). Luckily I didn't put in my password to buy the app, and when I tried to program a button and it finally mentioned "the paid version" I realized what was going on. Very shoddy and shady, dishonest salesmanship. Don't con your customers into paying for an app without explicit knowledge that that's what they're doing. Gross.

Best clock radio is the right name!. This is my favorite app, simple easy to use with great support. Love listening to KFI in the morning and at night, this app makes so easy and give me the weather as well!! Thank you!!

Too complicated. I had this app what I thought all ready to go to wake me up in the morning set to our favorite radio station. The app was open, the volume was up. It didn't go off. I thought maybe because the screen of my iPhone turned off. So to test, I set it for one minute ahead and sat and stared at it to see if it would work. Nope. I wonder if it has something to do with the "wake to music" won't stay highlighted no matter what I do. I think there are some touch features that aren't working. It takes about 4 tries to slide the screen over to the station list.

Musical Arcade. I particularly love the vast selection of readily available radio stations. On an international scale there is so much content here that is so conveniently close to any musical impulse you may have as a listener. Great work!

Good but could be improved. They need to make it so you can adjust the volume for each individual alarm. Also, the interface could be better.

Perfect. I absolutely love this App ! I use it at home and in my car to listen to worldwide radio and podcasts. Great job.

Lots of problems. Quit loading. Developer responsive. Reboot & reload helped for awhile. But… screen interface elements move to wrong place or partially off screen when setting up; 1st button assigned radio worked initially, now nothing streams. Other stations ok. Tried more reboots. Now hangs on splash screen and quits in 10 sec.

Good, but could use a few tweaks. Setting up an alarm isn’t all that intuitive. A one-screen transaction surely could be developed. When selecting a station by genre it would be most helpful to have the displayed list sortable. Alpha, or by proximity, or both. A search by name or call letters might also help. (As is, items show up in no apparent order, yielding a time-consuming human scan with questionable results.) Good but no cigar.

NOT AN ALRM CLOCK but good radio player. TOO quiet. App Seemed to function ok on iPad Air, EXCEPT... the sound always comes on with ONLY 1/3 the level which is not loud enough to wake you up. Especially if you keep your device across the room to avoid emf radiation while you sleep. Only way to make volume correct is pushing buttons on iPad after it is on. You mean while you are asleep? Oh right!!! while you are asleep get up to fix the alarm so it wakes you up???? This OBVIOUSLY makes the app USELESS for its stated purpose. Change the name to radio player because it has a very nice international selection. It's just not an alarm clock.

Great app. The app works as promised, upgraded to the fully functioning app, now weather is very accurate, alarm is reliable has all my stations, really can’t ask for more than that!

Radio alarm not working. The alarm clock feature won't play my favorite streaming radio station when left over night. But it does work when I do a short (1 minute) test. I just wish I could wake up to the station I chose instead of the same default song every morning...

Horrible update. This app now takes over your home screen and shows a radio station ready to play. I have found no way to turn this off short of deleting the app! Reloading when I want to use it is horrible because you lose all your preset stations! This is NOT an improvement. Be informed before you purchase.

Quality has gone down. Like most apps (and reviews you will read) new apps have been created with a lot of thought and after a few tweaks reach an ideal state. Afterwards additional tweaks are made with good intentions or for the sake of change in order to justify employment and quality and functionality go down. This app was best in class and almost perfect. Now as is the case with most apps additional changes have diminished its functionality. To be fair it’s possible it could be due to changes in iOS and iPadOS or where it links to. Weather does not sync. Adding or changing radio stations is no longer possible without closing the app after each change... etc etc. There are now better clock radio apps available so I’d look at the other choices.

Not that great. Too complicated. Options kept disappearing from the screen. Finally removed the app.

Poor execution. No way to label buttons for radio stations. First time I tried it, it failed to wake me up as set using my music library since the radio station settings didn't work properly. This is worthless.

Alarm radio selection switches to tiny beeping uncontrollably. It’s a clock radio with a decent display. The alarm is easy enough to set. But, its negatives are: it frequently fails to stream the radio and switches to a backup beeping (Not related to internet connectivity b/c I use both cellular and wireless.) Also, there is a fade-up that is annoying and can’t be turned off.

Nice app. I like the layout and the ability to wake to my favorite stations. Thanks for the great support 5 stars all the way!

Battery Hog. I really liked this program. It has a wonderfully easy to use interface. I especially like how easy it is to set multiple alarms. However, I had to delete it because it was draining my battery so quickly. Even with the program closed & no alarms set, in one 24 hour period it was responsible for 88% of my battery use, virtually draining the battery on my iPhone 7+ while it was locked. I also didn't care for the developer wanting $2.99 PER YEAR to disable ads & add weather. It's worth a try......but keep a close eye on your battery. Fortunately, IOS makes it easy to tell which programs are using the most energy.

Sub-par alarm clock. I was able to use my local news radio station, and then I wasn't. The snooze button worked, now it does not. The volume setting worked, and now it doesn't. On the plus side, the alarm will start as scheduled. However, this app does not run in the background - you must bring it forward, every night, before bed.

Stopped Working. I've used the app for over a year now; it's just decided to stop working. The alarm goes off, but for the last week it refuses to engage with any radio stations. Looks like I'm gonna be installing a different app.

Alarm doesn’t work. Alarm clock doesn’t work

This is the BEST. This is the best and only iPhone alarm clock I use. The features are great, the developer is great, and responsive to questions, and cares about his product and customers. It may be a good idea to add a support link to the settings screen. That will make it easier to find than swiping the weather banner. Just a thought.

It is the best alarm clock. Unfortunately it does freeze up from time to time. Would like to know how to fix it.

Doesn’t Actually Go Off. The radio doesn’t actually start playing if the phone is locked...so it’s an alarm that doesn’t go off unless you’re already awake to open your phone...

FOX News goes offline. Why?. I listen to FOX NEWS every morning as my wake up channel. Ya, I know it is one sided news just like CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS and NPR. But what are we to do, I just want to wake to a human voice. Any way FOX has been working for months but now the connection just won’t connect. I have had this happen before and it did correct itself. This time however it’s been a few weeks. What’s the deal.

Love This App. I’ve used a previous version for at least 3 years. I subscribed to this version to add the weather feature, which I love. This alarm clock is stable and has many great features. I love the auto dim setting so it’s not so bright when on my nightstand. I’ve also contacted support to find out how to access radio stations I couldn’t find and the response time is always within a day and the instructions for finding and adding the desired station are clear and concise. Thanks Mark for a great app!

I was excited for this app.... But the alarm never went off. It's a good thing I naturally woke up. Also, the app will usually darken your screen when you really don't need it to.

Not reliable. Don't get this app if you need to wake up. Sometimes it just doesn't go off, seems to only work 75% of the time. Find a different app.

Beauty full interface. Beauty full interface but why does it warn me that the cloud is not enabled when I tap whether? I assume this is because if I pay for the subscription it would like to apply to other devices via the cloud however the cloud IS enabled on my device, so I'm confused

Great features. I love the auto-dim. I set my dim and brighten times and don’t need to fiddle with the brightness every bedtime. The alarms work well. Best bedside clock of the 15 that I’ve tried.

Great app. I love this app. It has been very reliable for me, I have been using it for almost 3 years. I enjoy waking up to my local radio station no matter where I may be in the world. Excellent!

Alarm sound doesn’t play over bluetooth. Compliments on your work, simple enough yet very useful. I am trying to use it in conjunction with my blootooth speakers in order to setup an alarm that can play in my bedroom. Although I can hear the alarm sound on my speakers during a setup, when the alarm is actually triggered it plays only on device itself, athough the bluetooth connection is verified to still be active. Hoping you can fix this bug/ feature soon. Otherwise, a great product.

BCR Podcast Radio and Alarm. This seems like a great ap except I have been unable to store my favorite am station. I have tried pasting in the url but it just won’t play the station! 😭

Generally good...but. Reasonably good interface but main screen should show you if an alarm is set for tomorrow (you can set up to five alarms, each on any or all 7 days. Easy to forget when one is set for the next morning) Station search is also hard unless you know call letters Finally, no longer shows my weather since iPhone upgrade from a 6SE to an 8

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!. Update messed up my settings in the app, I no longer get the weather aspect of the app anymore. I have the latest 📱 ll Pro Max and currently updated

Could be the best. It's unreliable as an alarm. It doesn't hold the display brightness and volume levels where you set them. If the radio comes on its too loud for me and you can't change it. Fix the bugs and add more control for the user and it could be the best.

Doesn't work and charged in app purchase too easily!. App doesn't work because for some reason the option for waking to radio does not turn on, and only the alarm turns on. Charges $5 for 1-year SUBSCRIPTION weather by asking for finger print touch without much notice at all (charging for something I can get for free somewhere else without much warning????!!!!!). Is there a way to cancel the subscription????? Automatically made my screen brighter whenever I go to the setting menu for the app, and does not go back to my preferred brightness settibg after I exit the menu so I have to dim it manually every time. This app is bad. Do not get.

Crap shoot. It works. But which alarm will go off today... The 6:30 or the 6:30 and the 7? Will it be radio or iPod? Or will it be a silent message on my screen? The sound is not integrated with iOS so you cannot turn it off from the lock screen. You have go back into the app.

Awesome app in USA and Europe region.. I live overseas and I was trying to look for something in mandarin, but unfortunately the only way to get the radio is to set the url. I'm giving it a five star bc I hate radio clock too.

My favorite most used app. Not sure what the negatives are talking about. Easy to set up, you label the buttons yourself, and it works great. I plug it into a Bose sound dock overnight and into car power on the road, so battery use is a non-issue. I've used BCR for at least a year and love flipping among favorite radio streams around the world. I love jazz and have buttons for WBGO, Jazz24, TSF Jazz, CJRT, KKJZ, KNKX, plus one to randomly play Thelonious Monk music from my library. I'm not aware of anything remotely comparable. My most used and favorite app.

Great features, odd interface. A few years back I found this to be the only app that allowed user-defineable streaming radio URLs. It has all the functionality I need in an alarm clock: multiple alarm sets, day-of-week selections, streaming radio, audio clip alarm sounds and a fairly large snooze button. So long as I follow the instructions, it works great. The minor downside is that the interface is a bit dated and awkward. A user control facelift and multiple clock designs would easily make this a five-star app by my accounting. I purchased the one year of weather info to toss a few bucks to the developer - worth it.

Doesn't do what it says. The app has some functionality, but mostly builds upon the foundations of the apps it syncs with (e.g. Spotify) but doesn't actually alarm with the sound of radio, merely sending a push notification to "remind you of the time". Fail.

Love it!!. This has to be the best clock radio! I’ve tried so many but each one has had various issues. Just spend a little time reading the instructions, watching the video and then experiment yourself to discover what it can do. I have now subscribed to get the weather forecasts and programmable buttons however it really isn’t necessary if you are happy with one radio station and no weather.

Useless. Can’t set anything

Great App, but I would like minor change.. I love this app, particularly as I can use AirPlay to direct sound to my HomePod. One slight change I would like to see. The display of the current temperature should be made brighter so that it is on a par with the intensity of the time and also perhaps made slightly bigger. When I reduce the screen brightness (manually) before I go to sleep, just a small reduction in overall brightness makes the current temperature unreadable, particularly as I need glasses normally to read. This change should only be made to the current temperature. I don’t care about the location and day temperature range and would prefer them at current intensity, so that they dim out at low screen brightness.

Disappointing. Set the alarm to wake up to the radio but it just woke me up with a beeping noise. My phone can do that without an app.

Cannot Fault. Was looking for a clock radio app for my iPhone as it sits charging next to me as I sleep, (love waking to the local news before starting the day). Happy to pay the subscription as this app ticks all the boxes for me and when I didn’t have the local station listed Mark quickly responded with the URL to load it on.

One of my favourite apps. What a fantastic app. Very easy to set up and has all the necessary functionality. I wish I had been using this earlier. Old alarm clock is on its way to the bin! Highly recommended!!!!!

Not stable on IPad 2 IOS 9.3.5. I wish creators would be Upfront about "subscriptions" ....when setting up I was only able to program 1 radio button. Any more required a subscription, that failed to open so I have no idea of cost to advise you. Further the app was very unstable, the one radio station I programmed from their World/Australia/ selected station would play nothing. Also any attempt to set the alarm to play a stored tune would just close the app. After 20 mins fiddling, totally removed it.
