No sound. Just like everyone else I am not hearing any sounds. Super frustrating..

A-z letter sounds app. Wonderful aid. To ensure the “teacher” is modeling the correct sound. Easy to use, with my phone, I can access it on the go. Truly a homeschooler’s friend!

Dont hear the sound. Not working

Sound doesn’t work. The app doesn’t work. I can’t hear anything when I push on a letter.

In response to D/g. Your review made me wonder if you had the same issue as I have had before. When using a Smart Board, the sounds would sometimes be off by a line, so I would have to “press” a button above or below to get the sound I wanted. In my case, it was not an app issue, but a calibration issue (Smart Board setting). Hopefully your problem has been resolved, but if not, maybe that is a possibility.

D/g. I really want to use this app with my students but whenever I click on the g I hear /d/ and the d doesn’t have a sound until after I’ve clicked on the g.

Works great now!. When I first got the app it didn’t work, but it appears that they have updated their app and now it works great! I have been using it with my 3 preschoolers. Thanks!

Level 1. We are on AAR Level 1 and I appreciate this simpler option. It is helpful to only have the most common sounds for my Level 1 learner. We also use the tiles on a white board, and I wondered why the vowels aren’t red on the app to match the tiles.

Almost. The sounds do not match the correct letters.... example that G has the D sound

The app is working now. I reached out to their customer service because the app wasn’t making any sound. Merry who assisted me with the issue provided me great customer service, and she emailed me to tell me that the issue has been resolved. The app is working the way it should now. Thank you, Merry for helping me!

No sound. I can’t get the app to make any sound when I click on a letter tile. Very disappointed

Thank you!. Thank you!!!!!! I’ve been looking for something exactly like this for a long time. God bless you for making it and providing it for free. This app has given me so much hope to be able to teach my students with learning disabilities learn to read by touching the sounds they see in the word and blending them together. I teach high school English Language Learners and a few of them are really struggling. This gives them independence to be able to practice on their own! I would love it if there was a version that had blends, digraphs, and vowel teams too!

very helpful. We use this app with the pre reading curriculum. It is very helpful for our son to hear the proper pronunciation of each letter sound.

Sound and letters d and g work. I read previous reviews before downloading this but despite the negative feedback I decided to download myself. Worked perfectly. And for those who might say this is an old review it’s December 2020.

No sounds!. I tried on the iPad and the iMac and the app makes no sounds when the letters are pressed. It is just what I was looking for for my younger grandkids. Oh well!

Wrong sounds for y, qu, w. The letters y, w, and qu do not use “uh” after them. We don’t say wUHe for we or wUHent for went. We don’t say UH in quack, or in yes. These errors should be an easy fix. Educators should “first do no harm”.

No sound. All my other apps have sound but no sound on this app.

Just what I needed. English is my second language and this helps me a lot with sounds when teaching my daughter

Dissatisfied. Something appears to be wrong with the app. Whenever I click on a letter to hear it’s sound,no sound comes out.

Some sounds incorrect. There are two sounds that need to be corrected. The r sounds like /er/ instead of /r/ and the l sounds like /ul/. Please fix this so the app is useful and not teaching the kids the wrong sounds. This applies to the other app as well.

Sound works now. I had left a review back when the sound was not working on my iPhone or IPad but it has since been fixed. Not sure how to update the original post but great app!

Eh..... It’s not the apple I’m looking for to help a 2 year old with words...

G sounds like D 😒. This app is great except the sound for the letter G comes out as the “duh” sound as in letter D. My son had a chuckle and said “This guy needs to learn his letter sounds more than me”. It’s free so no loss for us but still...
