Great app, helps focus. This app plays sounds of different hertz. I think important to set the right volume for yourself so that it’s just barely overwhelming but not annoying. Great app. Get sucked into the sound! Rad! I actually did feel put into a different head space using this app.

No frills, gets the job done. There are a number of competing apps out there but they try and nickel and dime you or want you to subscribe to get access to the useful features. This app gets the job done and is my preferred app.

Simple and easy to use. While this is my preferred binaural app, I have only one suggestion. I use another app for tinnitus relief when I sleep. I use it for specific frequency and white noise notched audio. A feature that I like in that app is an independent volume setting from my phones master volume. This allows me to play the apps audio at a low setting for sleeping while I leave my phone at a high volume since I use it for my morning alarm. I think this concept would go well with this app because I simultaneously use this app while listening to music. Blending both at the same time. Without the independent volume control, the binaural volume level can become a bit overwhelming at the level I listen to my music. If the app had the ability to dial back/fine tune the volume in relation to the phones master volume I think that would be a significant improvement.

No longer the app I paid for years ago.. I had paid the price for full app privileges years ago and now it’s asking me to consider a trial version for subscription services. This change is not fair for those of us who paid for full app features and are now unable to even access the app. I loved this app until this major financial and deceitful change.

Definitely an Underrated App. I’m not sure why this app hasn’t blown up yet. It delivers all my needs for free. I love that you can customize the volume/intensity of the rain sounds. The developers clearly put a lot of time and effort into this app. It’s 5/5 from me. Definitely want to support this app in the future when it becomes realistic for me.

Greedy SCAMMER. So this b*stard kinda just took thousands of OG users money. I had this app BEFORE the subscription model and he used to give an option to pay a small fee to upgrade your app. Basically it was a small quality of life detail for the sound to not be interrupted. That’s it. Now when I click restore purchase nothing happens I get nothing but a notification to subscribe??? WHAT ABOUT THE COUNTLESS people who upgraded their app??? How will you compensate us huh buddy? ?? HOWWW?

Suppressing the madness. As we all descend into the depths of the new hell wrought through our collected sins there is little to soothe the unraveling consciousness. As the old ones approach and the veil thins their gaze only grows stronger. Save what little sanity you can so you may submit the last threads of your will, that they might spare you from the ageless eternal void.

Best binaural generator I've used. The design is beautiful, intuitive, and functional. Definitely miles ahead any of the other apps available on iPad. I would like a feature added: Step through the frequencies. Have a start and end frequency set and step through them. This can be very useful if you need to transition your mind from its current state.

This is the best binaural beats app by far.. NOT A PAID REVIEW. Seriously this is an amazing app, simple, consistently functional, and NOT A SUBSCRIPTION!!! It’s amazing and tbh, if they asked me for donations I’d give them because this app is indispensable for me. I’m a nurse who worked through COVID, and this app was my go-to during meditation sessions. Please keep running, I love it so much and thank you all for making it.

4-5 star app.. The app was delivered as advertised simple and easy interface along with small explanations. The fact the developer took the time to enable the "beats" to play in the foreground along with app, shows that they know the purpose and how theses tools are intended to be used. As for the "beats" themselves I do notice slight mood improvements post session but improvements are so slight any noticeable difference could be attributed to a placebo affect. That's not to say they are not working i'm trying hard to be patient and give them a chance to work but feel that honesty is the best policy when my evaluation will affect others decision to download and one thing I am certain of is the app and the design team did an excellent job delivering the product as advertised and in a way that is simple and easy to immediately implementing beats and and the theory behind them. Good app BUT.. the rain.. This app is awesome. It is a go to for pure binaural beats for changing brainwaves. The one thing I laughed at today and I cannot pinpoint the song. There is a faint tune in the background with just the rain sound!!! Whatever was being listened to while recording the rain sound is so catchy it throws me off. Overall good app though.

Sleeping sound, first time in years!. Since the beginning of menopause, over 15 years, I have had much difficulty falling asleep, and staying asleep. In a very short time, this app has helped me to fall asleep quickly, turn off the annoying “chatter” of stress, worries, things that need to get done, etc. and allowed me to quickly fall asleep, even when I was frustratedly wide awake, and did not think I would be able to. When I would wake during the night, I would just focus back in on the sounds, and would return to sleep, quickly. I am not using headphones, merely playing my iphone quietly next to my pillow all night. Thank you to the creator for this amazing app.

all the features &more. Such a great app, it had all the features i expected and more with a beautiful interface. what i would love to see would be some way to gradually curve from beta to delta within the timer <3 much love

Helps me sleep. I downloaded this app thinking that it would help me with meditating and on a whim I tried the "deep sleep" mode. I've never been lulled to sleep so easily before in my life, and I struggle with ADD with some insomnia. It's fantastic. I only wish the volume for "deep sleep" was louder, but maybe it isn't supposed to be

Incredibly Beautiful & Professional. Thank you from Texas for crafting such a beautiful, professional and effective app. Binaural is brilliantly designed and very intuitive to use. It stands tall over all of the competition in this category. I definitely recommend buying Binaural. For the price of a cup of real coffee or tea, you can make this wonderful app a permanent part of your life.

Amazing app. I love this app. It has a simplistic yet elegant design, and gives me control over what sound I want. I wish it allowed me to create a track where create changes in pitch over a given amount of time, for example if I sleep; I can make a track that slowly raises the pitch as the time to wake up is coming closer. If that was a feature included in this, I would happily pay for the app.

Subscription marketing is a scam. This app is amazing. It does exactly what it’s suppose to, and it does it very well. The reason I give it 1 star is that; I have used that app for years for free. Never had a single complaint. But now they want to charge you $10 every month, Ina auto renewing subscription. If they were to instead charge a one time fee, such as a $20 app fee. I would definitely buy it for a single purchase but it’s a scam to be spending anywhere from $60-$120 a YEAR for this, when it was available completely free for years. At least have a basic mode other than the paid one with more limitations. Overall I’m disappointed one of my favorite apps is now $100 a year to use.

Overpriced. I used to use this a few years back but switched because it lacked a few basic features like tone frequency adjustment, but came back to check it out because its usability is a bit more approachable and I was recommending binaural beats to a friend, but $40 a year for best frequencies is absolutely ridiculous. Theres another app called binaural that is far more customizable and still somehow exponentially more affordable.

Best for depression. I really wish more people who suffer from chronic depression knew about binaural beats. This app allows you to adjust the frequency which can be the most amazing help when depression is sitting in your shoulder or looking deeply in your head. I highly encourage everyone I know to try it when you are feeling anxious, sad, tired, lonely... anything. There is something about the rhythm of the sound that engages your brain and makes you feel better.

Dementia treatment. I read that scientists discovered reduced levels of beta-amyloid plaques in mice brains that had been exposed to sound waves produced at 40 hertz. This is the closest and most readily accessible way I’ve found to produce that frequency. I’m no expert though, and would need to confirm that the app produces true 40 hertz sound waves. I say this because there is also research pointing to light (visual) treatment at 40 hertz, but there you have to get LED lights with a modulator to produce true 40 hertz flickering - vs a generic light bulb that doesn’t have the true flickering. Any who, i purchased the app as a thank you to the developer and in hopes that this gets to him and perhaps sparks an idea in the direction of developing an idea to mitigate the effects of those propense to dementia.

VERY Disappointed at recent subscription change. I’ve been a very long-time user of this app, and one of my favorite things about it was the fact that most of its features were free. Then, all of a sudden, one time I open the app, and I can’t get past a subscription pay wall! Absolutely pathetic and sad at this change. I can no longer use my favorite app that I’ve used for literal YEARS now!

Effective tool for real life use. This app was designed for real day to day functionality.. totally in line with Apple philosophy. Georgio, the designer, didn’t stuff it full of useless features but made sure the carefully curated feature set and UI were crafted to perfection. One sounds and one sound only, rain. The Siri integration works just right and has all the relevant customizations you need. I really love it. He also included everything for free without ads. I bought the paid version just to support him. @ $2.99 I almost felt guilty. Thank you!!!

Very clever interface. While basic in features, Binaural packs an really clever interface that condenses the need for drop down menus and distracting bits. Simple to use. However some instructions would have helped me. As well as some more information about Binaural use.

Let it work. I was extended curious about how this actually worked so being a natural skeptic I had to try it and after I sorted out and tweaked it to what I thought would work for me with severe night terrors and awful sleep anxiety , this application is absolutely fascinating. I’m not quite sure how it works or the science behind it. I’m just so grateful I bumped into accidentally while trying all the numerous other “sleep” sounds and white noise apps this is mesmerizing and soothing all at the same time! If you try it and it doesn’t make your subconscious relax then try to make a level change because you’re not going to get it right the first time !! Trust me I’m a very very difficult person to get anything that actually helps my subconscious to calm down even prescribed medication has a difficult time helping me. So don’t try it once and then quit because it improved my life.

Works great. Simple light weight interface.. Works great for focus. Timer from in app purchase works great too. Also, the sound begins quickly. Some of the other binaural beats apps take a while to download a beat prior to playing. This app begins playing very quickly. Nice elegant simple interface.

Phenomenal Application!!. I downloaded this app just to help myself sleep. This being said I’ve utilized it for many different uses. This app has brought dreams back into my life, it has helped me relax and meditate during my chaotic life, and has helped me find solutions to difficult and important issues in my life. The different wavelengths help you address the problem at hand, be it sleeplessness or a board exam. I would 12/10 recommend this application to help anyone with distracted thoughts, or a restless mind. It does wonders.

True Binaural Beats. I was expecting very little from this app. It's impossible to find audio that is is truly binaural. Usually they will just simulate it. But using headphones, you can hear a steady tone in one ear, and another steady tone in the other ear plug. When you listen to them together you can hear the binaural beat. This is the app you were searching for when you typed in Binaural Beats!!!!!

Outstanding App. This app adjusts smoothly to adapt to the various states I’m seeking to operate out of. When I need to concentrate i use the alpha setting and it runs in the background without any issues. When I’m ready to sleep I can set my timer and slid the setting to delta and rest on. This developer did a great job with this app as far as I’m concerned...BMJENKINS

Background noise. While the app is running there is a very odd background noise coming through. Sort of like a rotating or pulsing crunch/blip. It becomes active as soon as the play button is pressed and continues as long as the app is active no matter the frequency. The sound seems to stop both when the rope is paused and when the rain is at high volume. When the app is not being accessed by the phones operating system, the noise is not present, but will start and stop while the App Store is referencing the phones apps. No timer option.

AMAZING - WORKS 100%. The coolest thing about this app is its simplicity. There's no extra buttons to navigate and the frequency slider is the entire screen wide. changing color schemes is easy too. Awesome selection of background sounds. Definitely worth the upgrade version.

Amazing UI and UX. I never thought I would appreciate binaural frequencies so much, but this app has really changed the game. I love trying different frequencies. The app is easy for anyone to use. Its design is visually appealing and quite satisfying. The rain feature adds a lot to the experience as well. Additionally, I recommend reading about how the app was designed in the settings. It’s fascinating, and it really made me appreciate the app more!

Binaural perfection. The user interface is intuitive and really simple. You set the desired impact and hit go. You can easily add colored noise. Setting volume independent of system volume allows binaural to not impact other app volumes. This app is well done and effective. I love sleeping at 4 Hz.

Great, could improve slightly. This is strictly a binaural beat app, and includes white noise (rain) with its own volume adjustment so it plays simultaneously with the binaural beat at whatever level you want. It is perfect for what i was looking for and even better that it integrates with Apple Watch. The things i would LOVE to see in a future update is with the Apple Watch; to have white noise level and binaural beat frequency level displayed on the watch in the same way it does on my phone. While the adjustments are obvious while listening, it would be nice to see the values so i can more easily tune to my preferred frequencies. I love the minimalist look, and having it translate more similarly to the watch would make this integration seem more like it was planned instead of an after-thought. It would also make sense to be able to set the timer through the watch interface as well. These changes would make this app perfect in my opinion!

I can’t believe this actually works.... My husband and I have been using this app for about a week now. I was very skeptical at first as we subscribe to the old school box fan for white noise and an occasional Benadryl or Tylenol PM for a good night sleep. However, this past week has been a game changer!! We started out with just the speaker on the phone and then graduated to our JBL flip wireless speaker. We have played around with the right sound levels and time durations - HOLY CRAP - this works - it even seemed to worked on our dog! She falls asleep with us and I noticed she almost fell immediately sleep and was chasing rabbits within a few minutes. I am sure there is some kind of age limit for kids but I am going to try this for my teenager who has a horrible time falling asleep. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

Timer fails after third usage.. I used this he last two nights, and found it to be very good at helping me sleep better. However, now the timer just keeps ‘loading’ but never actually loads. Quit the app and restarted, same issue. I should not have to reinstall or restart my iPad to make a simple timer function. So I just paid $3 for an app that doesn’t work as intended.

Beautiful UI, Simple. This app is really simple, the main screen acts as a slider for the frequency. There is an option to add "rain" and a separate slider for that as well. Each mode is very obvious in what it does. Works well. Adding more features such as change of frequency over time or preset routines would be great. I'd definitely go premium for those features.

Why does it need internet connection?. I love this app and have used it for years. I like the minimalistic and slick design and the health benefits it contributes to. But it really should not require an internet connection to function. If my phone has no connection (which I like to do intentionally often to disconnect) this app doesn’t even load. It opens to a spinning loading wheel and stays there. I really don’t see the purpose of essentially blocking the use of the app when there’s no internet connection. It doesn’t make sense. I would gladly give this app 5 stars if it is updated to be used completely offline.

1 feature short?. I just got this app and I am enjoying it so far. The one thing I wish was available is a program mode. Meaning you could set 4-5 points in time for it to gently shift from one to another. For example: 9pm start at Alpha 10pm gently shift to Theta 12 am - Delta 4 am - Theta 5 am - Alpha 6 am - Beta I’m all for experimenting (on myself with things like this) and think this would be an awesome thing to try. If this was added to the premium version I’d hit buy right then. Thanks for the background on making the app, I thought that was great you shared it with “us”.

Great App. Found Binaural Beats after a friendfrom Microsoft told me about it. I had trouble finding a binaural App that would mix with music. Until this one! I listen to soft piano music for relaxation, and ocean wave sounds for white noise on my Google Home and the binaural over that all. Works for me! Only suggestion - increase the selection of built in white noise (rain) to be more flexible.

Awesome! Perfect for calming my mind. I find myself wanting to meditate but my mind being hyperactive due to all the technology and social media makes it hard to find myself able to sit still. This app helps me breakthrough that and reset my brain right into the perfect vibe I need to calm my nerves and allow myself to be still.

Update: It works!. A year ago this app had some technical issues causing me not to use the app. I’ve decided to come back to it a year later and I think you guys figured out what the issue was. I’ve been using it for about a month now and it helps me relax and even fall asleep on nights when I have a lot on my mind. Thank you!

Love it 5star! 1 feature request :). I’ve used this app for a while now, and recently I came across your blog describing how youve built the app. As a developer (web) myself, I’m a huge fan of the conceptual mental frameworks with which you used to bring about this app. It’s inspiring and your work is fantastic! The 1 feature request: Ability to quickly see the current frequency number on the main UI. Current problem this addresses: In order to know which frequency is currently playing user must manually drag the meter, left or right, in order to bring up the frequency number display.

Sleep inducer!!. This app is the only one that has been effective for helping my mind stop whirring so I can get to sleep. And it’s great because it’s not a ‘sleep story’ or something like that that involves heavy user interaction. This is so easy to use - even in the middle of the night!

Yet ANOTHER 5 STAR review!. This app is so awesome! A little tricky at first. But your finger on the symbol on the screen and move it right or left to change the frequencies. On the top it shows you what category it falls in (i.e. Dream, sleep.....) The best part is under the "settings" toggle. So you can use with other apps and Yes! You now can even play it with your own music! I found that out thru the wonderful Developer. He was quick to reply and very informative. Thank you Developer for truly a wonderful five star app!

App closes itself after a few minutes. It used to work fine for a few months, but now the app will stop and force closes itself after a few minutes of use. This is really annoying bc in the months where the app was stable, i started relying on the theta waves noise to sleep, and now I’m having to get up every 4 minutes and turn it back on.

Awesome for focus and increasing energy. I’m a personal fitness coach with a book of back to back appointments. If I get a 30 minute break in my day the number one thing I do is find a quiet space, throw in my headphones, and tune in. When time is up I feel refreshed with clear thoughts and more energy. Highly recommend!

Great app and great developer!. I don’t write reviews at all but I love this app. It’s a work of art and very beautiful. It is simple yet offers amazing functionality that’s often very fluid and almost too perfect. It really sets a high standard compared to any other similar app out there. The free version is more than enough and doesn’t have any advertisements or nagging pop ups. It’s only $2.99 to purchase the full application, which provides more colors and optional features that aren’t mandatory to use the app. I highly recommend purchasing the full version to support the developer. I’m still appalled that this developer hasn’t hit the front page of the App Store when there are so many similar apps that charge monthly subscriptions or high fees and also breach your privacy. This app does not require any permissions and does not require or ask you to make any sort of account. You just download it and can use it immediately. The developer also has a great privacy stance (see Wipr app). You can’t go wrong using any application from this developer. And to the developer - I hope you make it big some day and I’m positive at some point you will. Your projects and development are a work of art. I can see that you put love and perfection into your apps. You are a very talented and gifted programmer and designer. I really hope you continue to stay motivated and make further apps in the future because I’m looking forward to them!

Not so good after all. I previously gave this app 5 stars, because of the novelty (at the time) of the app being able to generate binaural beats programmatically. That’s pretty cool. I’ve been using the app for a while now and unfortunately the experience is not very good. The monotone binaural tone generated is too high pitched with no way to lower the pitch. Someone with tinnitus said it sounded exactly like that and who wants self inflected tinnitus? The white-noise rain is just not good enough to soften the binaural tone either. However, you can mix in your own music, which is nice. But still, that high pitched tone is gruesome. How about adding some random vibrancy to the tone and the ability to lower the pitch? There is a simple timer which I paid for and a somewhat strange user interface which doesn’t allow you to select a precise decimal frequency. All in all a 5 star idea, but a 1 star experience.

Just found out master volume! + suggestion. Wow!! Such a slick way to mix with other 3rd party sounds!! Also I’d suggest to put what hz you’re currently at. I like to gradually increase it and it will be nice to know what hz I’m currently on Fantastic app. Use it pretty much every day

Enjoyable. Just downloaded this. Enjoying it. Suggestion: Allow saving of certain combinations of beats and rain level. I'd like to instantly tune into a particular combination which was very beneficial to my meditation. Would purchase full version if this were available.

Sneaky bug to make you pay again. I had been religiously using this app for approx 5 years. It developed a bug a few weeks ago. I contacted the developer but no one got back to me. Frustrated I decided to delete the app and redownload. Now it wants me to pay again?! So much for loyalty!!!!!

Perfect.. The perfect binaural beats app! No flashy graphics, just a clean classy design. And no cheesy chimes or distracting synth muzak, just the pure tones you need, and an excellent high quality ‘rain’. Really recommend.

It’s a good. The layout was pleasing and the features were easy to understand. I felt the effect of the beats when I was just playing with the slider 😋

Awesome app. This app is pretty much the only thing now that helps me sleep. Can't find a fault with it, all I can suggest is maybe a 'sleep/timer' setting so the sound can stop after a selected period. Otherwise a fantastic app!

Amazing truly. I love this app

Beauty in Simplicity. The minimalist layout works a treat with this app. This has helped me with anxiety, studying, being fully awake at 5:30am (gamma waves and a Philips goLITE with a bulletproof coffee is a killer combo!) and surviving a noisy apartment. The white noise blocks out all sound (even better with noise-canceling headphones) and lets the binaural beats work their wonders. This is easily one of my top 5 productivity apps!

Thoughts. All this app needs is a volume setting WITHOUT needing to go to the settings app to change it individually. I don't know why those settings aren't built in! If they were... =greatness!

Helps my baby sleep. I've been using this app on all my devices to help my newborn baby sleep longer and it works a like a dream. I can however hear a very faint background music when just using the white noise (no rain sound) at first I thought I was going crazy but have since had multiple people confirm they can hear it too??

Lost me with the subscription. I’m sure I paid for this app before it went to subscription. Now I have to subscribe to keep using it. I’ve got another app that does way more, that’s not a subscription. Look around and you’ll find it in the App Store. I’ll be deleting this app.

Great app, wonderfully designed. Thanks to the developer for putting so much effort into the design and interface of this app. Some real standouts are the way the pitch (carrier frequency) moves in relation to the binaural beat frequency, and the incorporation of pink noise. Great work.

Excellent, apart from one thing. This application is beautifully designed and excellent in its usage. The only problem I have with it is that I cannot adjust the apps volume independent to my iPods volume, restricting my music listening ability. Please fix this!

It's unclear whether there's any effectiveness without headphones for any of the functions...any at all❓An educational article or chart on what is or isn't a placebo effect would be nice... must research this before deciding to delete... Subscription but for nothing. The app was free before, because it was a simple generator frequency tool. And today, still exactly the same app (ok.. you can change the icon color..) but you need to pay 75$ for the same stuff. I would agree if the dev was improving the app with new stuff in, but no.. I Think I will just remake this app on my side privately

Subscription, really?. A subscription service for an app like this is honestly a joke. Just make it a one time purchase. Those who actually subscribe to this and pay monthly instead of finding a Youtube video or a certain frequency should really reconsider.

Greatest thing ever. This app is bringing me peace again—post traumatic brain injury. I can focus again. With this going, I can read+think+(most importantly)relax much easier. I dunno how but it's like the dead parts of my brain are half working again. Put together pretty damn well too. Smart layout and controls. Is appealing to see when changing pitch.

fussy baby no more. i have a 6 m/o brother. my mom left me to babysit him and out of nowhere he started screaming and crying (think he missed her as he’d been fed changed and had woken up not long ago). i didn’t know what to do so i threw on the deep sleep beats with some rain and popped him in a little baby seat next to me to listen. immediately he stopped crying and was out minutes later. best part? he s t a y e d sleeping. love this app and will definitely be using it all the time.

Wonderfully Made. I use this application often and love that it can sync with the health app for mindfulness minutes. This helps me track my meditation when I forget to log it on my watch as I always use this app with my focus sessions. The app is easy to use, clean, and didn’t push its unlock on me. Needs payment to use it!. Do these guys genuinely think that anyone deserves $10 every month for easily produced sound? They don’t even have adds option. It’s like give me $ or uninstall. Seriously, anyone can build a frequency generator, do something novel as developers if you want that kind of money. This is just pure greed!

Just okay-. The app looks sleek and works fine but I paid to unlock the timer thinking it would allow me to set a beat adjustment timer… it does not. Other apps allow users to go from X beats to Y beats over a period of time set by a timer in addition to a sleeper timer.

Devs decided to lock everything behind a subscription. Forget about this app, go listen to binaural tones for free on YouTube. This app is beyond dead.

Absurd pricing. I bought the app for 4 bucks back in the day. Works great. Just reinstalled on new phone and they wanted to charge 75$ annually! You may think the app is super advanced for that price but you’d be wrong. Ha, ha, ha. I come here just to warn you that the app is a well-designed, basic frequency generating app. There’s nothing even remotely worth an annual subscription (and nothing requiring ongoing costs for the developer that would justify a subscription) so please don’t get tricked. Also the last update was 6 months ago. That should tell you how hard it is for the developer to keep it working. Many other binary beats apps out there. Seek elsewhere.

I haven’t slept so well in years.. I put it on Delta: deep sleep at 0.5Hz and I knock out cold. I had to upgrade $3.99 CAD (which unlocks every feature including future ones-very awesome!!) so that I could get a timer to shut it off an hour before my alarm clock, haha! Otherwise I snoozed it and kept sleeping I like the activity ones as well...I wonder if this would work on calming my dog down... Anyway, congratulations on an amazing app, Mr. Giorgio Calderolla! Best app I have ever used.

not free anymore :(. I used to use this app every single night to sleep, while it just had the ombré palette icon. I thought I deleted it because the icon was changed but then I found it and noticed that now you can't even use the app unless you subscribe... as a girl with really bad insomnia who used to depend on this app, this is very disappointing. I'm not going to pay $12 a month or $75 a year for this. I understand people need to be paid but it frustrates me that the app functionality is still relatively limited while you are being forced to pay so much. if it was a few dollars a month, maybe I would've done it... not for as much as my netflix subscription.

Wonderful. Could benefit from the airplane mode automatically turning on when the timer mode is active. Overall a great app, simple and elegant.

Love this App. The slide control for frequency is perfect. I’ve been using this as my back ground when im relaxing and getting ready for bed.

Not worth the money. App offers no free functionality and asks for an upfront payment to get started. There’s a seven day free trial, sure, but what this app offers is simply not worth what it’s asking the users.

Well designed and useful app. I am still evaluating the app and so far I like what it does. Good design means no wastage. Bought the full version to support the developer and in hopes that he can afford to keeps its design true to its current small number of perfect features philosophy.

Superb app!. Recently I started suffering from anxiety and could not sleep. I've used the app to combat it and sleep beautifully.

Beautiful design, rain sounds fake.. The design and flow of the app is flawless. It’s so easy to use and navigate, and it really does look beautiful, however the rain setting seriously sounds like static. I’d really like to be able to use this app more often but the sound of the “rain” actually puts me on edge. Hopefully we can get a better rain sound, and this app would be 5 stars.

ridiculous. i’ve been using this app for 6 years and you used to have a 3 dollar ONE TIME PURCHASE to unlock extra features…now the whole thing is locked behind a subscription? honey, there are free binaural beat generators out there with much more in depth customization. sit down

No notice. opened the app one day to find out it changed to a subscription based app without any notice in the app store or even within the app. I can’t even use the app now without having to start a trial and it’s not worth the money when I can probably find a loop of frequencies for free on youtube. Great app before the subscriptions were involved, just sucks that I wasn’t notified about the change and now can’t use the app :/

App Subscription. I paid for this app years ago ($3.49 for “everything”) and now when I open it I get no further than a subscribe prompt. Like add more features and get me to pay for that; don’t just decide one day that you want more money. You app hasn’t become more valuable all of the sudden. This is a cheap tactic and not appreciated. Listen you got my money before because you wrote a nice simple binaural app with a nice interface, but there has been no change to warrant a subscription cost so high. Who in their right mind would pay $75/year for a binaural tone generator? If it was $5 or even $10 a year I would gladly pay it, I (used to) use it all the time. $75 per year? Get outta here with that noise. Nice graph though. 🙄

Fraudulent practice.. Bought this app originally for my iPhone 8. Upgrade my phone to a 12, and find out I can not only no longer use the app, but have to pay an additional $75 a year for the privilege. Despicable business practice, and shameless developer. You disgust me.

Not sure how else to get in touch. I love this app and use it every night to sleep, but tonight the lower frequencies seem to be pulsing much slower than usual, which sounds like a beeping instead of a constant noise and It’s very distracting. I’m not sure how else to get in touch with the developer so I hope you see this! EDIT NOT SURE IF YOULL SEE - my send feedback button is grey and I can’t click on it

Amazing app. I find the app easy and effective, thats why i purchased the premium since i love it so much. Only major problem i have with it is the master volume is not calibrated properly. I have the app volume at 5%(lowest possible) and phone volume at 50% and the binaural beats are very loud like is normal volume. I never go above 10%. I think it should be calibrated by at least 70% less volume so i can find the sweet spot when listening with other apps

Not good. First it was good app, but now it is not… Why we should pay a subscription for a sound like pi-pi-pi. Really? Devices can not produce that low frequency sound because of its limitations. You need professional equipment to do that but it is not cheap and sometimes illegal. I have measured the wave, nothing low frequency sound. If we need 20Hz yes possibly, but sometimes it is 25Hz not 20Hz. You need a subwoofer to produce that sound.

Great Start. I've been using Tesla Software's AmbiScience apps for years, and I simply tried this for the AppleWatch features. I'm generally impressed, and I like the simplicity. I bought it in hopes that it gets new auditory features like saving presets, more noise generators (e.g. white, brown, pink, assorted fan modulation, etc.), faders, or ramps and transitions. I could care less about colors/themes. Nevertheless, I'd recommend it.

Should have additional timer settings. $3 is not worth it.. This app should have a more in depth timer, so that I can set it up for a variable sleep cycle. $3 gets you a simple timer, and a color changing option. Get brainwaves if you want an in depth binaural beat program

Great app, but. Now it has tons of trackers. It is paid for previously unpaid users. It was free or a LOW COST, under $10, to unlock. It wants $60 per year for this, which is high. How about $10-15/year per user to maintain?

Best one out there. This is My favorite binaural beats app. Very easy to use and I love that it doesn’t have hidden fees to use it. I’ll be buying the full package soon just to support the devs for this app. Thanks for the great app guys.

Simple and useful. Actually main features are free . App environment is very simple and pleasant. Sound quality is great . But the thing is you have to be familiar with the methods of using this kinds of apps by reading meditation books

Good, but. The app idea is great and works fantastic! The only problem is, when you fall asleep. I woke up at 3:00 AM and touched my phone to find it burning hot! I would not consider using this app if you plan to sleep for a long time!

Tune Your Mind. I use this app before I go to sleep at night. I also use it while floating in an isolation sensory deprivation tank with waterproof headphones and it works magically! Such an excellent app!

This is silly. The concept has potential and the idea could be a fruitful one but the way it is done in this app is silly. What use if any has this app got? You can make a wider variety of relaxing/pleasant sounds with almost any free synthesizer from AppStore. And the rain option doesn't make a big difference. In my opinion the app has a long way to go before it could really be useful.

No free content. I really liked this app, but didn’t know I was doing a trial period and that you can’t use the app in any way after the trial period. With all the free apps out there, this was disappointing. Can’t justify $60 a year for that.

Zero guidance. Minimalist interface is a fine idea... But some kind of user doc somewhere would be helpful. For example... The relationship of the beats and the rain. If rain is at full volume, the beats are still there.... Right? And are there any options other than rain for masking the metallic tone of the beats?

Didn’t want subscription and can’t can cancel. The free 7-day trial advertised that you would receive an email reminding you when the trial ends before the subscription kicks in. As a busy mom, this reminder approach convinced me to do the trial. I didn’t receive any email reminders including in my spam folder and now I’m stuck with a year subscription to something I used twice.

Used to be free. I remember using this app years ago and it was free and went to download it again and they want $60 a year and there’s no free version. It’s literally just some binaural frequencies. I could see a one time purchase of maybe $3 but their current prices are absurd. It’s not like the app is going to get upgraded or have more features added. It’s a simple app that does one thing.

No way to alter the frequency. Hi. I love the integration features with logging the time in health apps, etc. Also, it’s a neat feature to be able to mix the sound with other apps. For me, the purpose of binaural beats is to achieve the state of mind desired. Unless I missed something completely, I don’t see how I can alter the frequency to achieve my goals for a session. Otherwise, it’s a nice looking app.

best i’ve had!. the app helped me knock tf out, and i’ve been quest sick due to a med change that’s been causing me to wake up during the nights and whatnot. first night i’ve slept fully! on top of that, this is the first time in a while that i haven’t had nightmares to be honest. i had some of the most creative dreams i think i’ve had in a long while. i didn’t have high hopes at first but now that i’ve actually given it a try, i vibe with it :)

I use this app while working to enter flow states. It’s the perfect app for it. I prefer it to music as it’s less distracting. Using this app for extended periods is great fun for when you stop, and experience the world’s sounds vibrate for a short time.

App won’t load. However good or bad it might be I will never know, because I downloaded it from the App Store but when I try to open it - just a pic of a head and some symbols is all I get. I tapped all over the screen but no joy. No anything. I tried closing and reopening, deleting and reinstalling, nope. I have enough storage space. This dog won’t fly. Zero stars.

Helped me sleep. So I have a tough time sleeping. I put this on deep sleep and 6 hours later, woke up from dreamless sleep. I just bought some sleep headphones so I can listen to it every night.

Good but. This app is great, but it would be cool if you could set a pattern to play. For example, if your trying to sleep, you can make a preset where theta waves play for 30 minutes, then delta waves play for an hour. Just a suggestion but an overall good app.

Siri Shortcuts?. This is a very useful app and I enjoy it almost everyday. I have one suggestion though, I think it would’ve been a great idea if we could invoke the app to start with our most favourite frequencies with Siri Shortcuts and also be able to automate the app or include its functions in Siri automation.
