*MAPS:
Online :
PPGpS can display Google or OpenStreetMap maps in connected mode.
*INSTRUMENTS:
PPGpS provides the altitude, vario, bearing, magnetic compass, acceleration and ground speed.
With just one click on instruments you switch easily between different data modes : instantaneous, average and maximum values.
Altimeter can be set to actual altitude or elevation (QHN, QFE) just by longpressing on the altimeter.
*WAYPOINTS:
Create waypoints by tapping on the map or by entering their GPS coordinates.
Select a waypoint with one click on the waypoint instrument (WPT).
Rename or remove a waypoint from the contextual menu of the waypoint list.
Follow the displayed route (bearing, estimated travel time and distance).
Waypoints are automatically loaded at startup and saved at the end of the session.
*WIND AND SPEEDS HUD:
The average ground speeds are graphically displayed for every azimuth.
The wind direction is displayed (red arrow) and may be reset at any time during the flight.
*RETURN HOME:
Home direction and Estimated Travel Time to return home is always displayed (shaded red line).
Computations are done according to the wind for accurate results.
Launch the Demonstration mode to have a quick tour.
Missing features in the Lite version:

-The annoying popups are removed in the Full version

Needs bugs to be fixed.. Compass is plainly incorrect in giving a bearing of any accuracy. Do not rely on this. I don’t know what system it uses but if it’s GPS based then there should be no updates if a certain distance hasn’t been traveled (Compass should be red in this mode! Green if direction correctly calculated over a certain distance). Problem is that if PG is stalled compass is useless. Maybe use IOS compass if viable on IOS app. As far as maps, the ability to pre#download would be a good option. Downloading in remote areas is painfully slow on a cell phone. Interface should have a metric/imperial switch to quickly set between units. Having an option for Bluetooth device to be connected would be wonderful too. People can then use iPad/tablets with larger visibility of map data. Good product concept but needs a lot of work before I would buy.
Needs to be fixed. No gps position Compass does not work
needs work. Potential. I would love this and will buy it WHEN: -You can switch and view measurements in non metric (for US pilots) -The compass is more accurate
Basically useless, Wont save flights. How can you review anything when it won’t save the flight just flown. Menu options are worthless and are less than helpful.
Really great except the compass seems quirky. Great app....love the wind direction feature most. Makes life easy - better than the wind sock.
International availability. Great app the only problem that paid version is not available in every country international store I'd like to purchase it but it's not available in Estonia Please make it available globally so people can actually buy your great application
Glad to see PPGPS on IOS. Happy to see PPGPS has made its way over to iOS! I saw some comments about compass not working correctly but it appears to be working just fine for me on an iPhone SE2020. I hope to try it out soon on my next flight and update how the experience went.

Where is the compass pointing to, I have no idea.. The compass does not seem to point in the correct direction.
