DO NOT DOWNLOAD. I don’t like writing negative reviews but my experience with this company has been nothing short of horrible. After being stuck in a smaller town in Mexico back in November, I tried to download this instead of Lyft/Uber. It was a major mistake and nothing but a headache. They won’t let you delete the application yourself- they require you to “ask permission” to do so and when you try to do so in the app, it tries to connect you to an agent but never has an agent available. It then directs you to send an email to customer support. Well, I’m about 15 requests in since November- including making me send a selfie with my drivers license and they still have not deleted my account. Don’t waste your time. Update: They told me to email them…again. I tried to do so four more times. No response. I tried to contact them on chat via app, no response again. They’re very likely stealing your information and cheating you. DO NOT DOWNLOAD.
Unable to track ride's location after a certain period. One of the primary expectations from any ride-hailing application is the ability to track the booked ride in real-time. This feature serves multiple purposes, including ensuring passenger safety, estimating arrival times, and providing peace of mind. Unfortunately, InDrive's app fails to deliver on this essential functionality, leaving users in the dark about the whereabouts of their rides. After a certain period, the app no longer updates the ride's location, leaving users clueless about their loved one's progress or estimated time of arrival.
Great concept not so great reality. The app is fine as with other ride services it is intuitive and easy to use but my issue with it is that the concept of naming your price for a ride is absolutely fantastic but why won’t the app allow for any amount to be put in, I understand the need for this feature to not have someone put a dollar or two and “lowball” the drivers but it is unnecessary as they can reject the ride or counter your price, if a ride is going for $10 in Uber or Lyft (which are usually cheaper and I tend to use them both more often than Indrive) why would the app not let me put in $7-8 it beats the whole purpose of naming your price. It’s simply flawed and until it is fixed I’ll personally continue to prefer Uber and Lyft cause their prices for rides are more affordable in most instances. Just use something else
Essential app. The app is reliable and stable. Location picking is a good but I would recommend one to use manual location picking when one is setting up pick up location especially if you are not at the exact pick up location. Needs reporting function when driver shows up in a different car for safety reasons.
Almost Perfect. I came to Miami from NYC and my brother recommended this app since he lives in Miami. I used it the entire time I was there & the costs were significantly cheaper than Uber or Lyft with almost the same technology. My two issues: there is no route mapped out so if you’re visiting you have no clue which way the driver is going (safety issue), and if I offer a price that the app feels is too low, it won’t let me continue until I offer the price the app wants. I think that’s odd since you could just make the ride that price. Hopefully this app takes less fees from drivers than Uber & Lyft do.
Not worth the few bucks saved. I wanted to love inDrive as it seems lower than competitors and seemed to be fairer for drivers. However, I have tried two rides with them and both have been unsatisfactory. On the first ride the driver asked for my social media info while dropping me off at my personal address which made me uncomfortable. On the second ride, the driver started the 5 min “wait time” before he even got to my location. After struggling to find him, HE canceled the ride and inDrive actually charged ME $10. I have since gone back to using Uber and have been way happier
Kidnapper. Today i faced a terrible trouble from indrive. I order an indrive first of all he wasn’t the person according to the details, however he gave me a justification about that he said its his brothers car he is trying earn so i thought it could be valid but during our drive he started to be suspicious as he was talking to phone with someone and he was telling where are we right now and where are we going, he was also talking picture of the boards and sending it to someone. He also asked me if i know the roads, i said you but then he asked me where shall we go i told him check the map, he said i was just curios about you knowing the roads or not at that moment i knew I wasn’t safe with him. So in the middle of the road i saw a police checpost and i said to him can you please stop the car because i want to call someone he did stop it so when i got out of the car i told him to cancel the ride. Going downhill fast. This app is a godsend to those of us who live in Peru. Unfortunately, in the last couple couple weeks, it can no longer detect GPS on my phone. It is the only app that cannot connect to the GPS. This means that I cannot track when the driver is actually arriving. Today my driver got lost and I did not know where I was. I had to use my phone maps to figure out where I was. Please look into the GPS. It’s the only thing that is keeping me from making this a five star app.
Messaging needs to be improved and updated!. This works well when I’m in Colombia. Most times the prices are way better than Uber. However the app allowed in the past to message with the drivers directly. Now if you don’t speak Spanish and you need to translate which involves a lot of coping and pasting. You can copy messages to translate because the app doesn’t support that. Before the updates you could which made it so much easier to communicate with the driver and tell exactly where you are especially at an airport. I wish you can copy and paste messages so you can paste it in translator to understand the drivers who don’t speak English. Please improve that feature please. I use this app every month in South America and this could be the difference between life or death literally
Trying to Save on the rate?. This app claim to be cheaper than Uber or Lyft or any other, the reality is, is the same because when you are going to order an InDrive and you check the rates from the other companies are about the same, and when is the time to make the offer this app only let you make an offer one $ less than the original price of the other apps, this people is only trying to get free publicity saying that you will save a lot when the reality is… you are saving Nothing…. Don’t download this app, it will Only take space in your device with no savings and I’m sure they will sale your information and make money on it.
Drivers often ask for more money after accepting ride on the app!. Drivers often ask for more money, even after accepting the rate in the app! This seems very unprofessional. They should stick to what they have agreed to take. It feels like there is no use of the 'negotiation' feature. Also, cannot see the live locations of the drivers. It requires a upgrade!
Safety nightmare. No support, no checks and balances. This app is safety nightmare. If you want to get robbed or murdered this app is for you. I tried to use it on multiple occasion and every time someone shady or a different person showed up. When i tried to report it, there is no simple way. No one is ever available on chat support. They have zero check and balances. Anyone can come on this app and do anything and get away with it. The only way the app let you leave a review is if you complete ride. No way to report suspicious activities, threatening drivers before that. This app can never work in western countries because people will sue them to the ground which they deserve.
The “offer your price” function does not let you actually offer your own price. Downloaded this app and uninstalled all in 10 mins. The “name your price” feature isn’t exactly as described. Each ride has an “recommended” — more so minimum cost and it you offer any thing lower than that it won’t even allow you to request the ride unless you offer the recommended price. What upsets me is that their excuse is so that it’s “more profitable” for drivers when really company is just looking out for its own self. All while ironically showing a button saying “ride on your own terms” above all of this. How do you know that a ride won’t be accepted because of what I pay for if it I can’t even request it? There are tons of drivers out I see, and I’m sure they would have much more rides if the app allowed them to. Plenty of room for improvement here. If not, I don’t see this app lasting long.
The map requires bug fixes.. The app works just fine, but the map does not show live location of the driver most of the time. What I've noticed mostly that, even if the driver is moving towards me after accepting the ride, to pick me up; it shows the rider is not moving whatsoever. Moreover, at times the rider's location shows too far away from my pick up location, even though the rider was really nearby. Please look into it, and fix it as soon as possible. Thank you.
Things need to be solved.. As a driver, I receive a ride notification, and when I accept it, the app asks for an ETA on the customer. This is unnecessary compared to other apps like Uber and Lyft. When I input the ETA, nothing happens, and I get stuck, forcing me to press "skip" to cancel the ride. The ETA should be automatic and not asked of the driver at all. Furthermore, for every single passenger ride, I have to compete with over around 8 other drivers, making it difficult to get the ride accepted, even if I have a nice car and a good rating. The issue with Pool riders and ETA should be resolved. (I will update the starts once these issues’re fixed.)
Used it throughout central Mexico. We spent three weeks in Mexico and didn’t want to pay about $850US for a rental car. We were using Uber, but sometimes the wait was 30-minutes, and other times there were no cars available at all. Some locals suggested this app instead of Uber. Virtually the same process as Uber, but it’s all cash $MX in Mexico, and the longest we ever waited was six minutes. Typically the wait averaged four minutes. The accuracy of the location finder on the app wasn’t always perfect (once it was way off on our pickup), but overall, this app worked great for us in Mexico.
Cheaper than Grab & Bolt, so I always use InDriver. I was so happy when someone told me about this app! I downloaded it immediately & compared with Grab and another app called Bolt. It was definitely the cheapest every time! Amazing! You can offer a lower than market price & then a driver can accept or counter offer, which you can decline or except or raise your price a little bit. If you don’t take a cheap price and it’s busy they may offer you a higher price so don’t be too cheap. Now I rarely even check Grab or Bolt and only use inDriver! I wish I thought of this idea and have been telling all my friends even strangers on the street! So I recommend you download this app right away & Price check with the other apps to confirm it’s the cheapest, then use only it to save a lot of money 💴 on every ride! 🙏🙏🙏 InDriver (Should be WinDriver)
Passenger amount. I’ve only done 2 trips on the app so far, but I am not aware of the amount of people that will be entering my car at the time of pick up. I’ve had 2 people enter my car during both trips and I have seats for 4 people but I would like to know how many people are going to enter the car at pick up before I accept. Thank you. Other than that I like the concept of negotiating prices and seeing who needs to go where.
Very bad. I gave this application a try and i was shocked with many things : first the driver location doesn’t change or update so i kept calling him to confirm he is coming as on the map he was not moving at all, second : the driver phone number in the application was not the same one he contacted me with.. third and this is the most important the driver was extremely rude and lacked any professional attitude.. he was very very very creepy and had terrible loud music on and insisted on driving in a terrible route and kept chatting on whatsapp while driving in very careless manner .. very terrible experience that i decided to delete the app and warn anyone about it !!
Phone got stolen. Our phone got stolen by one of the drivers in your application yesterday at 6pm in Casablanca We contacted your services available here in Morocco but they weren’t of much help and refused to intervene. We have his license plate and his name but whenever the services contact him he doesn’t answer and your team doesn’t show any willingness in helping our case. This whole situation is immensely frustrating since the phone is extremely valuable and holds very precious information. We are extremely disappointed since this driver should in theory be very easy to identify and the application should help us contact him and bring us our phone. For the time being we contacted the police about this case and informed them of your driver’s license plate. We never knew that this service employed thieves and thought that it would be a swift process and that my phone would be between my hands as soon as we brought up this problem to the application.
No Support Available when I needed it. After I accepted today’s driver’s fare in La Paz, Bolivia, I almost cancelled because I saw previous reviews of people complaining that the driver tried to charge them extra. But, I was really tired and he was the inly one available, so I still accepted it. Guess what, he tried to charge me extra! He did not know that I actually live in La Paz and that it was not my first time leaving the airport. So dishonest. I tried to reach InDrive Customer support while the ride was in progress but guess what, no response. I even tried messaging them on Instagram. But, no luck. Funny thing, he dropped me off an hour ago and the ride still shows to be in progress. I am glad I paid cash.. He still got a bit extra money because I did not have the exact amount.. Usually, I tip, but I wouldn’t want to tip him. I have been preferring InDrive compared to the other popular ride sharing service, but InDrive always offered a better price. I think I will consider using the other service more since there they actually answer you if you need help. Things are good and safe until they aren’t, right? There has to be an easy way to reach support! This driver has 4.32 stars and reviews that say he tried to overcharge others, that he does not drive safely, he has no seatbelts - and he’s still allowed to be on the platform! Drivers/scammers like this should not be allowed on the platform. In case this matters, the driver’s name is Nelson, Black Toyota Corolla 2053XYG.
Update your calling feature. Why did he contact me on WhatsApp to confirm my pickup location? And why are most of the drivers not utilising the built-in messaging feature? This is an absolute violation of your terms, and yet you’re not aware of it. Create a way in which drivers are limited to only using the built-in messaging service or make customers and drivers call each other anonymously just like UBER where your or driver’s phone number remains anonymous or within the app rather than having our personal phone number shown. This led to sexual harassment, assault, and human rights abuse when a driver had your phone number. He could get personal with you for any reason whatsoever, especially if you’re travelling alone and you’re a female. I really am disappointed that the majority of the inDrive drivers are rather than using the built-in feature. Every one of them is calling me on WhatsApp, and I have never allowed InDrive or given consent to let this kind of thing happen which I certainly will be suing your company for that. You better fix this, rather than giving me a sympathetic response to confirm your acknowledgment.
STINKS in Egypt. Drivers here LIE and enter they’ve arrived but they never do then even one of them entered that he completed the trip while I’m still waiting for him… then asked me to ask for the trip again, saying he’s lost???- then accepts from a different car and offers HIGHER fees. That’s only one of their MANY scams that made the app block my account- because they NEVER show up and when I cancel saying DRIVER IS LATE - it counts against me. Either give the customers more control or you’re part of the scam.
Assaulted. I was assaulted by my InDriver. The way the app works is you make an offer for a trip. I made an offer of 12,000 pesos to return home. The entire trip the driver angrily ranted the address was wrong. Which isn’t possible. He drove straight to my house without any input from me. Then we arrive he demanded more money. I politely paid what was owed. 12,000 and proceeded to exit the car. He demanded more. He got out of the car and proceeded to attack me. Physically. What was InDrive’s resonance “ Dear user, you have received a complaint within your profile, we invite you to respect the rules of use to avoid sanctions.” When I contacted them via the support function it kept glitching and saying due to my inactivity the chat was closed but I was sitting there waiting for the representative to respond. After trying this for over two hours one said they would call me at an agreed time. They did not call me. I also sent this complaint and story via email. Which said they would get back to me within 24 hours. I have never heard back from them. They have no concern for the safety of their users. And someone needed to say this to warn people.
Complaint. It’s a good app, but today I forgot my phone in the driver’s car the phone I used in ordering, immediately i got home I checked my bag just for me to see that my phone was not there. I used another phone to call, he’s not picking up the call I tried to contact customer care I didn’t see any number for it. I’ve been calling my number he’s not picking up. At least he’ll pick up the phone and tell me where and when to come and collect it
I felt discriminated!. My experience with the InDrive app platform has been deeply disappointing. They declined my driver account application because they don’t seem to understand that, when you use a car for both personal and work purposes, it is often required that your auto insurance is a commercial policy, with the company’s name as the insured party, such in my case. Even though I’m clearly the only driver covered by my company’s insurance, they insisted this wasn’t acceptable. This decision has deprived me of the chance to earn extra income, which my family desperately needs, especially in the challenging economic times we’re facing. What’s most frustrating is that Uber accepted the same paperwork without issue, demonstrating a level of understanding and fairness that InDrive sadly lacks.
Good App, but lack of trip tracing Line. Hello Devs, Thank you for this amazing app. Kindly add Tracing line from Point A to Point B, so that passage knows how driver is driving through this feature is already available in app such as Uber when trip is started, passenger can see the line from pick up to destination. Which make easier for passenger to track and satisfies the worries for taking wrong turns and safety. Thank you once again.
Drivers lack accountability for their driving skills. First driver this morning dropped me off behind the building I was suppose to go. I ended up walking to the front like I was suppose to because common sense would tell you I had no business being dropped off behind a building and nor was I gonna complain or explain, just gave them 4 stars and kept it moving. Next driver a few hours later got lost on the tracker and I had to call to see where he was at. The app barely has live GPS tracking. Just off the strength of the way they were driving was like they lacked driving policies like how Uber and Lyft has theirs properly set up for their drivers. I’m over this app. I deleted my account moments later. It’s definitely not worth the price you set when the recommended price is only gonna be price matched by drivers using multiple driving apps anyway. I’m officially done.
guarenteed and customer always need to be navigator. Recently I have been receiving the worst services through the drivers without knowing the location they pick the request and even few times the assigned cabs and the cab came to pick were different and the explanation they mostmy give (my cab is under maintenance so I bought my friends car) .. some drivers are so rude and drive recklessly .. if we cancel the ride due to unsatified answers and rude behavior before the ride the drivers are mesages on our personal numbers .. which is so unethical and we cant even make a proper complaint regarding the issues we are facing..
Great in Mexico. Tried this in Puerta Vallarta to get around for 2 weeks and saved 350 pesos on our first trip vs. Uber and/or local taxis on a 40 km ride. This app gets you the “old” Uber prices before they went up. Drivers friendly and easy to use app. Need to have cash though. Note: some specific locations don’t come up on the map entry, for example we went to Dreams Punta Mita Nayarit from PV and it didn’t come up on the map. So we just entered Punta Mita and told the driver where to go. He was cool with that. Great savings versus Uber. Hopefully this will work well when we get back to USA also. Looking forward to trying it out.
I don't want price recommendation. I do not want the price recommendation because the rate is very low and the price of fuel in the Dominican Republic is very high, it cannot be more than a 10 km trip, it has a price of 150 pesos, it is an abuse, please remove the new update or we we will be obliged not to accept trips with prices recommended by yourselves or we will be obliged to negotiate prices outside the app
Support agents cancelling my request. After being very late to work again for choosing to trust the drivers on this app even while agreeing to double and more the standard fee for a the ride, the driver Erdi cancelled on me, I actually called him to make sure he is coming and he confirmed then on the last minute he canceled. I am really frustrated and mad and upon talking to one of the supposed agents Aleper I guess his name, he just canceled my request and said you can create a new one and go on. It’s like you are either covering for these drivers and their actions, it’s not enough that they are already get paid much more than the standard fee the also get to cancel and as a passenger I can’t do anything to make sure that driver gets punished, last time i tried (today) with your Customer service agent Alper he just cancelled my request after knowing all the details!!! Horrible app horrible service, only if I Uber would come back as they used to I. Turkey then we can finally get rid of these yellow taxis and this kind of applications like InDrive
Waste of time. I ordered a ride at the fixed price and almost 10 drivers are viewing it yet nobody accepts the order I have to raise the money almost times 2 of the price I have there,that isn’t the only problem but they just waste my time here if they know they can’t accept the offer why put the price there? They could have just fixed a price non negotiable coz it eats time away. If there’s no change in this then I’ll have to switch to another ride then
This app robbed me. I ordered a ride after a long day at work I ordered a ride and wait as usual waited a whole hour then the app crashed I tried opening the app just to get an error message over and over again I went on their website to put a complaint about this then I get the same thing error message again not I’m thinking can it be my phone I take out my laptop and went on the website on my own laptop and got the same message this drive service app literally robbed me and never picked me up I had to use Uber to get home I’m highly disappointed and won’t recommend anyone to use this honestly
Terrible customer service. For starters, the gps software is utter trash. The cars appear all over the place and jumps from location to location, hence, properly locating your ride is impossible. Secondly, after the driver did not show up and had the audacity of turning on the alert as if he was waiting for me. The driver was nowhere to be found and it was noticeable in the app that he was never close to my location. Finally, after I waited for more than 5 minutes and the driver not showing up despite turning on the clock as if he was waiting, I cancelled following the apps instructions. The app then required me to pay $6.95 to cancel the ride. I tried to contact the service provider and it canceled my request. The so called agent never appeared. Stay away from this app.
Worst customer support. Every time I tried to contact customer support they would read my message and end the chat without responding to my issue. I have tried contacting them at least 7 times about an issue and each time all the agents have ended the chat without any response after reading my issue. They would reply up until they have read my issue and end the chat after I sent the message describing my issue which was very frustrating. If possible I would give zero stars. Please have a customer service contact number so people can call and talk. And please train your customer service team to at least respond to the messages or give some sort if solution to the customers.
Attempted assault. Use the app to get a ride from the airport to my house after riding at the house I gave the driver the amount that was agreed and a three dollar tip. The driver demanded more as I was getting out. The driver jumped out and grabbed me the driver did not know that my husband was going meet me there and he is a very big fit american the driver tried to apologize, but it did not work out in his favor indrive needs a new driver my husband did call the police and left the driver in the road and we went inside and waited for the police to come the drive was wanted by the police for attacking other passengers think before using this company
Poor improvement and functionality for drivers. As a driver, you get a notification of a ride, you accept it, then it ask you for an ETA on customer which comparing it to another apps like Uber and Lyft is unnecessary, when you put the ETA nothing happens, you get stuck and have to press skip to skip the ride, I spoke with support team and they told me that’s is probably because ride was already taken…Then why I’m receiving a notification of a ride that was already taken? Also it’s takes a long time to see if a customer choose you, or not, this happens while you are driving and is very bad because you can probably be getting far from pickup point or entering in a way of no turns back to the pick up point like expressways or even passing the exit you need to take. So if you get the ride have to drive back a long not paid way to pick up your customer. App have been for a time now in the market and still having these issues. Needs a lot to improve.
Nice but needs work, don’t feel very safe. I like that this app promises to pay a more fair share to their drivers in comparison to other appss but still needs work… Getting a deliver was fast and easy, but wht I like about the other apps that this doesn’t have AT ALL, is the maps navigation. On the other apps I see the route that the driver is taking to get to me, and the route he will take to drive me, this doesn’t show the routes AT ALL, a driver just took a different route to get to my place there I know it will get there but I was never driven in these streets to it feels a little weird, and unsafe. Another thing is this app doesn’t show the picture of the car, now I know cars pretty well but I know I can’t recommend this to a lot of my friends cause they don’t the difference between a toyota and a ford
You can do better. I hate this new version you have to select your ride instead of it bringing new requests from nearest pickup location takes too much time please review this and pls add features that will allow drivers pick route they want to be on instead of going to unsafe areas we can stay in a preferred region thanks
BECAME TERRIBLE IN MOROCCO. Indrive must act ASAP because manipulation is happening and this will ruin the app leaving the opportunity to other apps to skyrocket, and they’re on the way up. Indrive was doing good up until late June 2024, drivers started manipulating the fares by using WhatsApp groups, they are sabotaging the service, and offering extremely higher prices by over 50% of the recommended fare. From my personal experience and the experiences of all people I know who use this app, everyone is super angry about this, and some switched to other apps, and as soon as the other apps gain more exposure, Indrive will be out of the market just like another famous app… Indrive must start to be strict with the drivers, put some rules to end this disaster. Also, to be fair, the 10% commission they take from the drivers is too much, so very often, like 60% of the time I’m asked to cancel the ride by the drivers so they don’t pay commission. My suggestion to fix this would be, make some rules like, for every 10 rides, the driver must do 8 or 9 rides for no higher than the recommended price, do some update to the app so that it doesn’t allow the drivers to offer a higher price until they complete 8 for the recommended fare… find some compromise in the commission to keep your market share.
Best ride share app in Pakistan. After using this app I stopped using uber and Kareem totally. Those apps are too much of a headache with uber drivers asking where you wish to go and Kareem sometimes wasting your time to bring up the price meter. This app fixes all of that. If there is one thing I would change is to make the regular ride always A/C or bring the a/c only ride to Islamabad. Also updating the map interface it’s pretty laggy and doesn’t provide as much clarity as uber.
The company needs big improvements and changes. I have been a driver of this app since July 2023 when I started working in Miami, this app is quite good for drivers and passengers but it has several problems, for example to validate documents such as Insurance, registration and other car documents it takes up to 7 days to respond, that for example Uber and Lyft only take minutes to validate these documents, the truth is I don't know how they plan to compete in the United States market against Uber and Lyft with these problems they present and their technical support is the most bad, lousy and incompetent that exists, they only give answers that seem to be reading like robots from a screen, the truth is that if they improve some things they can succeed but right now they are light years aways from their competitors
Reliable taxi in Santo Domingo and in the DR. The local taxis see a visitor and try to charge very high prices and the cost may even go up while you’re are en route. It’s not a pleasant experience- you feel conned. Also, it’s much better than Uber, where prices change when using that service too. I use this app whenever I need a taxi. They’re are a few options (car/moto/delivery,etc) the features are geared more for locals, which keeps the cost down too. The only issue is not having a price guide as to what it should cost, so you know what to offer; thus, the 4 stars. I highly recommend this app for local or intercity transportation!
Love it!. Happy for the competition for Uber!! I like how you can select the driver. The ability to put in your own price is AMAZING. You can save 25% off of Uber (EASILY). I would like to think that the next step is to be able to schedule a pick up. My first time using was for an early airport run. I was nervous wondering if there would be any available drivers. I had five options within 30 seconds. Uber has been demoted to my second team!!
3 Star could be 5 Star. The app and it’s features are great, the app works well and the fact that you are in control, and the captain and customer both benefiting, is an added bonus, don’t get me wrong. My only issue is somewhat of a bug. Every single time, I set up a pick-up point, the app would always throw me off by a few meters. So let’s say, I set my pick-up point for Street 12, the app would throw me off by a few meters and show I’m in Street 14, regardless of how accurately I select my pick-up. This would cause the captain to arrive at a completely different location and causes inconvenience on both ends. If this is fixed within the next few updates, awesome! I’ll rate it 5. But, this is something I’ve been hoping for since the last 10-12 updates but no improvement. InDriver team needs to work on this particular problem.
Recent Fare Change Hurts the App. The best thing about this app before was the ability to increase (bid up) your offered fare in order to attract cars/taxis sooner. This made a huge difference in certain markets (eg Istanbul). For some reason they inexplicably just removed this feature. This will ultimately kill the app since it is otherwise not as good as Uber or others in terms of functionality and use. They essentially removed their primary competitive advantage for some reason. I don’t know why they did this, but they should put it back as soon as possible. Otherwise drivers and passengers will stop using this app. Huge mistake.
Application has some problems. The location is never accurate, it’s not even close and I have tried several times to enable location always but nothing works, and on the drivers side, the ride requests aren’t updated. They show ride request from a previous day not the exact day and time. Please try to fix that, the application was a real help to most users but it’s not so anymore
Good app with suggestions.. The app seems pretty ok so far but I think it should be mandatory for both passengers and driver to upload ID’s and picture. I have hear several users say that when the driver arrive they don’t look or seem like the profile of the driver they ordered. Now on the flip side most of the profile for passengers don’t have a picture and some persons uses Alias names and the drivers sometimes can’t tell if it’s a male or female or how the person looks that they are picking up. Eg. they go to a party to pick up with a lot a ppl outside waiting, anyone could get in the car a say they are the person. Next thing is that some drivers go to pick up a passenger and they have 2 extra persons entering the car. Things like these needs to be addressed but otherwise the app is ok.

do better.. a friend of mine is being harassed by a driver who assaulted her, pulled her arm, tried to come inside her home & kept saying he wanted to sleep with her. as the app does NOT encrypt phone numbers , he has been messaging her non-stop. all that they have done is ban him for a month & he has faced no more consequences. this is appalling & this app clearly doesn’t think or care about the safety of its female passengers.
Better than Grab!. Map accuracy needs improvement so we can better see real time how far the driver is. But all In all i'm enjoying using this better than Grab. Quick to find drivers and they're very polite and respectful. Looking forward for more improvements!

Is there scam?. Used this in the Philippines. I feel like there’s some kind of scam going on. I used indrive to travel to work. The driver’s gcash number has been placed in the app already. Since I was in a hurry, i trusted that the number was correct especially because the driver is considered as platinum. So I paid before getting to my destination. Upon arriving, i told the driver that I have paid already but he kept saying that the number was wrong and i should pay using a different number. Again, since I was in a hurry, i followed the driver and just paid. I told customer service about this and they said that the driver should return the extra payment because the driver was responsible for updating their gcash number. I waited for weeks but no refund happened. I followed up with the customer service but they just sent me the number of the driver. Seems like they won’t take responsibility of their drivers. Until now, no refund has been received. No accountability or responsibility. Will never use again.
I absolutely love this app, and for a few reasons!. First of all, it’s for a great system where you can offer your own price and drivers can either accept or counter offer. It usually ends up much more affordable than other apps I could mention 👀 Secondly, I appreciate that the app seems to take good care of its drivers. A driver in Sydney I had a chat with told me that the platform takes much less commission from their drivers as opposed to their competitors, which I think is great! I’d much rather my money goes to drivers than into a CEO’s pocket. Good on inDrive for that, and I’ll definitely continue using the app moving forward.
Totally Rubbish App. As a driver i didn’t recommend to anyone to do indrive app. For example they show us $50 for 30 kilometres ride. they detects 12% service fee. average $10 tolls at the end we just save $30 to $35. its better if they show us money that they will pay us after detection for everything like uber Didi. I can’t recommend to anyone to use this app.

Logo sticker and fares. I signed in to be driver already but hard to find a fare, pop up and disappear in a sec, lots of cancellations trips . Also how can we print your sticker? My windows are tinted how i stick the A4 paper out of the car ?? Why dont we have a welcome package like DiDi?
Great concept, poor app performance. The concept for this service is fantastic, and sometimes it works well. However, the app stability and lack of features (such as tipping, or providing extra money after using a tollway etc) causes some teething issues that make it hard to recommend this app and service to other people.
Horrible!!!!. This is a horrible app. Drivers are ripping people off and I was charged a waiting fee when I was actually the one who had to wait for the driver. The support weren’t helpful at all and did nothing about it. Takes so long to even find a ride and then you end up paying the same or even more than other apps like Uber. Don’t recommend. Waste of time.

No longer operates in Sydney Australia. Wouldn’t it be smart for a company or even Apple to at least state that this APP is no longer available in Australia for drivers and passengers. I downloaded the APP, added all my details, kept getting an error message of “Something went wrong, contact support”. I sent numerous emails to support with no response. Then found their live chat support and spoke to someone from West Asia who said in one simple sentence, “Sorry we no longer operate in Sydney Australia”. InDrive why not right this on your APP in the Apple Store at least. The poor level of professionalism is indicative of maybe why they no longer operate.
Needs improvement. Can't upload pdfs a files the majority of the time? I've had to go through pdfs, take screenshots and upload them that way. But some documents are allowed to be uploaded as pdfs?? Makes zero sense and some pdfs aren't allowed to be uploaded as it just produces an error. Won't be using the app of its been out for years and this is the state of it from the very beginning...
WARNING FOR BALI. When you use Indrive in Bali you might have the following fraud. Some drivers agree to take a recommended price but the waiting time is quite long like 15-20 min and they ask you to wait. When in 10-20 minutes they cancel your order and leave you the lowest rating like 2 saying you were cheap. However they had accepted your price before. When contacted Indrive support in Bali they did NOTHING suggesting to give a better price. As I said the drivers agreed to my price and it happened three times that’s why guys when you can see the driver is willing to take your recommended price before clicking agree check the waiting time and if it is 10 minutes or longer then NEVER TAKE. Highly likely it is a fraud. I suggest you to buy a local number and sign up this with number. I am from Australia, used the app in Australia and I have never had any problems before.
Toll racket. Like every other app, they charge you a toll but the drivers don’t use the tollway so that they can keep the toll money for themselves. When I contacted indrive they refused to refund the money. I was left with no choice but to claim a chargeback against them to get my money back. Afterwards when I told them to cancel my account they wanted to punish the driver but said nothing about punishing the guy who refused to refund me even though he knew I was being ripped off. Needless to say I went ahead with cancelling my account. Update: InDriver has responded to this review telling me to contact them blah blah blah. This is only for show. I contacted them when I first had the issue and they refused to help me. They’re not interested in fixing the issue at all whatsoever. This is theatre and nothing else. Don’t be fooled!
Why would you block me when driver says to cancel the trip?. So i spend hours to finally get a drive and the first driver says he didn’t even look where i was going and told me to cancel the trip and i did. Again, another driver accepts (FINALLY) but he is asking for more than double the normal rate, told me to cancel which i did again. And guess what? My account is blocked because drivers asked me to Cancel. What a waste of time. I would have understood if it was me who choose to cancel the trip for fun but …. GREAT!!!!

The drivers are always driving in the whole opposite direction trying to get you to cancel so they can take your money, and the minimum fare is $25 which is useless in most situations, although you can set your own price drivers never accept and usually offer $10 extra than what you offered, then when they finally accept leave you waiting for 10 minutes just to cancel
Gps and price. Location service should be improved and the driver should be compelled to go on the price popped on app.
Poor & Unsafe Service. I have used InDrive twice. The first time I was picked up, the driver told me his sexual fantasies with a passenger which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. The second time, a driver started charging me the wait fee when he hadn’t arrived and was stuck in traffic. When he did arrive, I had to cancel due to personal circumstances and he charged me the entire trip. I then was advised I need to wait 4 business for the refund to land which was a very convoluted process.
Prices aren’t better and they don’t refund their mistakes. Prices are no better than any other rideshare. My driver didn’t start the ride and I was charged a 30 minute waiting fee that I was never refunded after contacting support regularly over 2 months. I downloaded the app after I saw it on tiktok but it’s not worth it.
Stupid set of people. Useless company. Their drivers are extremely incompetent, money hungry piece of trash. Very rude too! Numerous times I have booked rides and their drivers will either cancel half way to my location or don’t show up but start the ride without me and I get charged. When i call the service centre they act like dummies and pretend to contact the driver to sort out the issues. It never stops. They should access the kind of morons they hire.
About price and tracking. Should stop manually putting price on the app by the passenger because they lower the price way more than they should..and the way the passenger track our vehicles…if we can track our passenger on the app that would be great.
Rideshare. Although the idea sounds great I found it to be a bit of a useless app compared to other rideshares. First of all I found if I offer a price the same as other rideshare apps at the time the drivers always always want more, that’s if the driver even replies.. mostly took 10 minutes at least to book a ride, from there the driver could be a while away so add another 10 minutes and then you have a high likely good of them cancelling it seems. I like the idea but unless you give drivers incentives to accept the ride not at a higher price so it makes sense for them I probably won’t be using unless 100% necessary.
This is not legal in Morocco. We just had a bad situation at the railway station in Casablanca. Booked a ride and when he arrived taxi drivers started yelling at him and he took off with my bags in the back. Some friendly locals helped us and we got them back. Since found out that the drivers are subject to equivalent of $500 fine . Use with extreme caution and away from any areas where taxi drivers congregate. We will not use again.
Best Online Cab/TaxiService. During my holidays in Nepal I have used this service. Kinda like Uber/Lift. Very easy to call thru app, I like Comfort one which normally EV taxi will come to pick. Hoping in future money charge from bank account than Cash. During stay Nepal even i have used City to City it was cheaper than other service. Love it. Love from USA/Australia.
A needed service in Marrakech. Grateful.. Drivers rarely have change. App should show car types especially when it seems we are meant to be discreet. Drivers should learn the basic land marks around town and how to get there.
Great prices, but very unreliable. You can get some great prices on this app and they give more to the driver than the other guys, but this app is just way too unreliable. Only use if you have 20-30 min of wiggle room. When you order and confirm with the driver, you can wait up to 5 min and then they cancel. This will happen 3 or 4 times before someone will pick you up. Developers need to fix this. I have a hunch that the driver can accept other offers when they are on the way to get you. It’s very disappointing.
Mostly wast of time. Mostly I received requests after someone has accepted and when I was clicked saying “cancelled or expired “ I’m not sure why it being cancelled. I had tried by restarting my phone frequently but no luck. I able receive requests one out of 10. Mostly wasted my time on waiting.😹🤕
I thought this app was good. I was under the impression that this app was good, but quickly found that each ride you had to wait 30-40 minutes before pick up everytime. Drivers kept doing other jobs without picking you up or cancelling on you after waiting 20 minutes of doing their own thing. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone, the app itself is good but the service of from the drivers are consistently terrible.
Terrific value. I used inDrive for the first time while on a business trip in Melbourne. Each ride I took checked all the boxes. Squeaky clean, super friendly and professional drivers, and fares that didn't break the bank. The app has a really interesting system of being able to choose your own fee and select your own driver based on their proposed fees. Being able to see how far away each driver was from my location was a massive plus as I didn't have to waste time on drivers that were ages away! Will definitely be using inDrive again, especially if I need to head back to CBD and don't want to bother with city traffic.
Customer support. Not able to get customer support while a driver took remaining money and promise to add in the wallet but there is no wallet , tried to reach support several times but no luck.
Waste of time. InDrive drivers keep cancelling, the app is not the problem it’s the drivers , doesn’t save any money might aswel just use Uber otherwise you’ll be waiting a long time until someone accepts the offer if not they pump it higher then you’ve just wasted your time because they will end up cancelling you anytime they want.
Waste of money and time. Booked a trip with 3 stops, driver left after first stop I was charger a outrageous fare for due to it only being a short trip and then when I was told I would receive a full refund, I haven’t gotten anything. I have contacted continuously and nothing but “we’ll speak to our payment team and get back to you”. Drivers always want stupid money like 20$ for trips that are 14$ on Uber how is this 20% cheaper?
There’s no GPS tracking. I don’t understand why I can’t view the drivers location on the app once they leave the destination?? Also you can’t share the ride with people
Smart idea but won’t work.. Let me tell everyone the real issue here. Most drivers work across all the drive share apps, and are naturally going to take the best value trips. Meaning if Uber is surging they are naturally going to take Uber rides or expect a comparable charge on this app. Basically in peaks your paying the same if not more then Uber and essentially defeats the purpose of the bidding process.
Fantastic experience with inDrive. Melb, Vic This was my first time using inDrive and it was a great experience from the driver to the best price and trip was great, wasn’t sure how it all worked but found it very user friendly on the app and pickup from rideshare at Melbourne airport was easy to find. Had a little wait time for driver approx 10min but nothing compared to other services I’ve used, so definitely no complaints. Thank you again I will be using you for my future trips great service. 👍
They no longer operate in Australia.. Don’t bother wasting your time. I’ve wasted 20 minutes with their incredibly slow customer support just to find out they are no longer available in Australia. This is what I was told (in a copy and paste that completely ignored my original question): “ We regret to inform you that we have ceased our operations in Australia, and as a result, our service is no longer available in Sydney or any other location within the country. Therefore, you will not be able to use our application in Australia. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.”
Drivers location. Real time drivers location are not as exact as it should be.
Don’t use. The app is unreliable and communication virtually does not exist. I spent 30+ minutes ordering and accepting offers just for drivers to say I rejected their offer but it would still show up on my map. You are better off using Uber or another rideshare app because the time does not make up for the cheaper cost.
Service. The service was good but the driver was not very sure of our location but it was a little bit late we managed to catch our flight
5***** Plus. I had an issue with another company so I stumbled across inDrive by accident. Better service, payment a hell a lot cheaper than the other useless company that's out there. The only thing is, the wait can sometimes be just a little bit longer than usual but overall... I still give them 5***** 🤓
Great for travelling. Agree a price a pay cash simplifies as risk of getting overcharged and makes for a safe and easy trip for any tourist.

Not affordable at all…. I’ve used this app a few times and each time I offer the recommended price (which is already more than Uber, DiDi and Ola) and no matter what I still get only offers for people wanting MORE to drive me. And the few that do accept my price are miles away. Definitely not worth it at all. I always end up cancelling and just calling an Uber.
Sometimes you don’t know just how excellent something can be. While there are a tonne of driving suppliers none come close to the conviviality and warmth of an indriver. If you do find yourself thinking I’m not sure about this, just imagine the best thing about being driven somewhere and that’s this service.
Shady app. More often than not the app will give an error on accepting the offer from a driver but successfully charge your card for the ride! Be prepared to make a lot of support calls since this happens more often May I please ask you to look into the development of your app! It seems riddled with bugs

Buggy when after riding accepts a call. This is a really trash app whenever a writer picks up the call. It just doesn’t work after writer wants to call so because of this time gets worse and I cannot go to the destination wait for time who want to travel maintaining proper time to avoid this app.

Bait and Switch. this app allows the driver to upcharge after we agreed on the price!! We agreed to 109 pesos and after we accepted it went to 140 over 30 pesos more! Absurd and dishonest, this is a scum dishonest outfit and totally unacceptable!
Excellence!!!!. My 1st ride with iD after been a LONGTIME client with uber. UBER started charging for trips not taken. They suspended my wifes (77yrs old) membership for UNKNOWN reason!!!!???? Never again….I hope subsequent services with iDrive is as good as this first one SK

Great App. Great app for gringos because you confirm the price before being picked up. I have been overcharged by taxi’s in Managua in the past because I did not negotiate the price before getting in the taxi. This app makes everything super easy. I highly recommend it.
Pricing is weird. How am I supposed to know what’s a reasonable price?! I feel like the app should give a price range that’s reasonable.

Not very accurate. I’m in Colombia and the app is not very good in finding the location were you are.. some addresses are completely ignored.. the fee to pay is not always suggested and in general I find the actual version worse than the previous versions I tried.
New update crashes and cancels ride. New update from today has been hell. Rides are cancelled by the app, drivers stop showing on map and no indication of time to wait, repeating requests leads to infinite wait. App is broken by latest update.

Great service. We have used this service numerous times in last 4 weeks. Prompt, economical, and pleasant drivers with clean cars for the most part. Some even speak English. Highly recommend.

One HUGE missing feature. Easy 4- or 5-star product if you add the ability for users to add money as a credit on their inDrive account. For example, I just took a 25 Dh ride. I withdrew 100 Dh to pay the driver, but he didn’t have enough change. So I spent too many minutes going from one shop to other to find a place I could break up the 100 Dh. That’s a horrible experience. A great solution is the ability to give the driver the 100 Dh so he can charge it to my account and his fare will be deducted from that. Why has this solution not been implemented?
Good. I enjoyed my first drive but it takes much time to get to my location, I stood there for long. Like 5 drivers cancelled the journey… Please try and look for nearest drivers for the customers not far from the customers… It’s winter and very cold out here… And note stop charging the customer because they are not the ones who cancelled the trip… Aside all these i stated, my first trip with InDrive today is good.
Different policies. Aren’t the same policies United States like other countries cause you must pay with your credit card, compromised your personal information without a option to pay on cash, very different when your using the app on other countries. Also it’s imposible or nothing to use the chat to write a issue with, just sending a mail if do you want to delete the account sending your personal license information. Very suspicious and untrusted
Amazing app and service. We visited Miami just this past weekend and was recommended this app. And I will say all 3 drivers were really good. 1 driver was excellent. I hope you guys work out in Miami and grow to other places in the United States. I recommend this app and service to everyone who visits Miami
Drivers accept your trip and then cancel. You search for a ride, drivers accept. They ask you is your location correct? You say yes. You wait 5 minutes for them to pick you up and after waiting they cancel the ride. You have no way to rate the drivers behavior. Happens many times in a row, many drivers have this behavior. Spend 30 minutes trying to get a driver that doesn’t cancel after accepting your route.
No features for the user. For example, if the driver says they’ve arrived, but they don’t arrive at the right place there’s no way to tell the app or the administrators of the app. But in that same situation, if you don’t arrive to the place where the driver is, you will be penalized, even though the driver should be penalized for not arriving to the actual pick up area. This feature is not on the app.
First time user. I chose this over Grab because of the price and how efficient the app is. I like the notification part when your ride arrives and you don’t have to link your gcash account—which is a good thing for me. They also have a cash option for the payment.
Works well but missing features. The app works well but it doesn’t suggest a price and so you wouldn’t know without previous experience what price to offer. Would be very helpful if they suggested an approximate price. Other than that works well.
Worst customer service ever! Worst updates as well!. It’s get worse with every update! Why mess up something that was working just fine?!!!!!! Features like “destination” which was very helpful: disappeared! The app is not stable with many requests appearing and disappearing spontaneously! Customer service is zero! I stole a driver from this app/ me robó un conductor de esta app. I ordered an indrive on September 29, the driver charged and made him pick me up and drop me off at the destination, which did not happen, I made the claim with the same order and they only made me turn around but there was never a refund, do not use this application because the same application is covering up the thieves/ Pedí un indrive el 29 de septiembre, el conductor cobró y le hizo recogerme y dejarme en el destino, cosa que no sucedió, hice el reclamo con el mismo pedido y solo me hicieron dar la vuelta pero nunca hubo reembolso, no utilice esta aplicación porque la misma aplicación está encubriendo a los ladrone
Good driver - car could be better. Good driver - car could be better - but if he gets enough business he’ll probably get a better car. Driver was courteous, careful and competent. Would definitely use again.
Problems with top up and no response from chat support. I have been having problems with account top up and replenish and no one to help. Wish the chat support or customer service could be better
Do not rely on this app. I tried to use this app two times to go to different places, and every time, riders canceled my ride once the offer was accepted. (More than twice) No reliable. The app doesn’t show where the driver is accurately, and the pick-up time is incorrect. I don’t recommend this app. Of all the times I used this up, I was only to go through once after many attempts.
Message option. The app is very useful. It used to have an option to put a message along with your request and offer. This was very helpful when I needed to take my dog with me, that what the driver knows and chooses the service because they agree to take the dog. Not all drivers would take dogs so it’s good to give them a heads up. Please bring back the message option.
Payment Methods. As most app reviews mentioned, the fare prices are pretty good and cheap in many ways. However, I find it difficult to always needing cash. Can you add payment methods like credit card, PayPal or Apple Pay? This way it will be very convenient.
We miss indriver. My last indriver ride experience was 2 weeks ago it’s was great safe & fast I got to work on time. The driver are extremely friendly & cars are very clean we need it back in New York plus the ride are Affordable that’s the best due to the fact you choose fares that better than Uber fares.
New driver in miami. Hello everyone okay if you a new driver or try to drive for InDrive, I think this is the best way to booked cheap rides make more money. At first you feel like the app trippin. Very useful. I use indriver a lot to get cheaper and more reliable taxis. Just had an idea that it would be really nice to be able to use it on apple watch. You would not even need your phone to move around city. Will watches version of the apps come out?
Can be better. Maps could be better (example : cities 20km apart can’t see their maps). Some drivers harass users and some theft going on with drivers /users with very little drives under their belt. Lots of drivers change cars (different than one registered with the app ) and takes the app according to them several weeks to make the change of their vehicle in the app. As a result, users don’t trust who’s picking them up
More options in the app. I hope that you guys keep going doing this, Uber a Lyft need a lesson and you guys appear in the good moment to be a teacher for them. Put more options and at least 24 hours customer service that will be great.
You’re in control. Best ride sharing app in the market. You offer what you want to pay and based on that drovers will give you offers or accept the amount you’re willing to pay. Personally I like using other apps to only get an estimate and then offer that or a bit more less depending on climate, times, how many people etc. give it a shot, you’re going to love it 😍
Waste of time. Did my first ride with Indrive as a driver yesterday and was kinda shocked to see what my payout was after the first drop off it’s shocking that a $18 ride amounted to $12 after fees … like who’s doing most of the work the company or the driver you would think an $18 ride is worth $18 because of the miles you will be driving but for it to amount to $12 is ridiculous!! I won’t be wasting wear & tear on that company
Service Feedback. Service has been great. Only challenge I run into is sometimes server goes down around office off time and no ride can be requested which brings a lot of inconvenience right when you least expect it. There could always be reasons behind it but plan B is always expected for such situations. Thanks
They don’t review why the rides get canceled and blocked me instead. I’m in city where the riders don’t comply to the terms and conditions of these driving apps and we constantly report it but nothing is done to resolve this. The first ride I canceled was due to the fact that the driver demanded more even after accepting my ride, and the second one was because he wasn’t even getting closer and I tried to reach him continuously. If you’re not to review the reasons why we cancel then don’t ask then. Now my account has been blocked
GPS on this App isn’t accurate & tricks you into paying twice.. Several times the GPS on the app has taken drivers far from my pick up destination, and when you pay for the ride don’t click more than once, even when it looks like the payment did it take. If you tap the payment button more than once you get charged each time.
Customer support overwhelmed?. I have had great experiences with the drivers delivering me where I need to go. Recently my app thinks I’m a Driver and only shows Driver screens, not Passenger. Chat support has answered but seems overwhelmed by other requests and asks if I can hold again and again. My question has been: How can I reset my app so that I see the passenger screens instead of the driver screens? Can anyone answer this question?
You can do better. I hate this new version you have to select your ride instead of it bringing new requests from nearest pickup location takes too much time please review this and pls add features that will allow drivers pick route they want to be on instead of going to unsafe areas we can stay in a preferred region thanks
Great Option. I got to Panama assuming that I would be able to use that Other ride share service only to find out that it was suspended. I took a chance and used this one which I had never heard of before. I am very Satisfied and will be using it from now on.
No Longer Operationing. While this company is “on hold”, they did not disclose this information before taking my application, or even when I reached out to support regarding my application. It was not until today (six days after submitting) that they finally informed me that operations are on hold until further notice. Irresponsible and negligent to take someone’s personal information knowing you are not currently operational and not disclosing such information upfront. Highly disappointed. Revoking application processing permissions and deleting yet another rideshare app.
No issues. It works pretty well had no issues so far. I guess some of the drivers has issue with the in app map, and should probably use a different just for navigation.
Do not use. This company has zero business knowledge, the app is the worst to use, you will never get dropped at an accurate location, my driver drop me at the wrong location while I put the correct address, and had to get out and call a taxi to get home , Uber will never do that, you will never feel safe using this app at all . Imagine your loved one dropped at a back street and the driver will never take you home even when you offer more money just to be safe because he already accepted a pick up customer while he is driving you home
Convenient and economical. Quick, safe, and economical ride at your fingertips. Empowering to the passenger who gets a say in how much he will pay and which driver he will ride with. I also enjoy the convenience of being able to contact the driver by text or phone.
Great service but buggy app. While the service itself is great and I use it everyday, some bugs are just app-breaking. Sometimes, the ride would cancel itself if the connection got jittery, in an elevator or otherwise from signal strength. Or the app would just bug out and show a weird location icon moving as we zoom and pan the screen (when driver is moving).
Abuse of power. its a hilarious title😃, i know let me start by saying congratulations, your strategy works and its amazing. but here i like to share my review on drivers. your strategy pulled every driver over 90% of abuja bolt drivers to indrive, why? because now dey can negotiate, they cried to bolt snd you listened lol, something they always wanted. but its insane if dey have to do it on every ride. the shortest distance for example as suggested by ur system could be 1200, a driver will seek for 2000 n you waste time waiting to see anything less but wont in most cases cos they have abused it. it wasn’t like this with them when they started. All i am saying is there should be some sort of cap or control. the drivers are important so as the users. cheers.
Poor location / destination define. Unfortunately app doesn’t give accurate location, and when you are searching for your destination it doesn’t give it on the map. You can’t see the road path, and you will find your self lost!. It doesn’t have “Favorite” locations to save and just chose whenever you want. The cost is the same like other competitive companies, and the idea they market (better than a taxi) is not applicable at all!
The worse app ever. Actually it’s the worth app to use first of all most of the driver they ask to for more money as any excuses . If he open the air condition he ask for more money and sometimes the drop is far away of the confirmed location. Even when I made complain no one give me any attention or even replay to my complain just no action has been taken . I don’t suggest this application for anyone . The worse experience ever .
Wrongfully accussed the driver!!. This must be quite honestly the most intellectually lacking company I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. After weeks of emailing and struggling to get any assistance with a potentially lost item in a driver's car, this company asks again for the ride details, which I share openly. They stated they would reach out to the driver about the LOST item and ask him to contact me. The driver then reached out to me, only to share that the company had accused him of theft, saying that I logged a complaint. They threatened this poor man, who was an amazing driver, and I gave him a 5-star rating and a 25% tip. The poor administration and communication of InDrive from the South African office, is one of the most pathetic service delivery I've ever experienced. Do yourselves a favour and pay R30 - R60 more for another service and steer clear of these incompetents.
Need to be able to go more places. I currently live in Nsb and I am trying to travel for a con this weekend and it doesn’t even let me leave the Orlando train station Like it needs more places to go and travel to and from like a lot of places that I’d wanna go I can’t even find on here. If there’s something I missing please let me know.
Not that perfect. App doesnt allow passengers to accept the same driver's bid for the second time in the same session. It says "bid has ended" and I cannot accept that offer. At least allow that? Or allow passengers to counter offer drivers until both parties are satisfied with the amount.
Ride not moving inapp. Hello InDrive, This is the only app where a ride is moving but the app is saying driver is waiting and when you get to the location it asks if you had a good ride. Fix this please. It’s not very safe for everyone as people share their ride details for security purposes. Thanks
Some improvement needed. Driver sometimes needs to cancel but it always warns even though it’s cancel because of passengers fault. It should provide the option to select the range of distance the driver wants to see the ride request. Need to have precise location tracking !!
Definitely a great concept. This app has been a lifesaver for me here in Colombia. Not only is it better than taxis, to me, it’s better than Uber too. The driver’s are professional and you can choose which one you want based on the drivers that accept your offer. An awesome concept!!
Taking a chance. Will wait awhile before using this regularly. They say they background check their drivers, but the Safety tab in the app says ‘“Connection fault, try again” and the chat support tab says “Chat is unavailable”. If something bad happens, you forget an item, or the driver is doing something wrong, you’ll probably be on your own. Reminds me of Uber and Lyft when they first started.
Swipe right to accept instead of to hide. Hi, as easy as it may sound a better feature to have instead of what it is currently is the swipe right to “accept” instead of to “Hide” the ride info. This can greatly help accepting rides instead of the multi stage clicks to accept a ride. Plus, I I accepted a ride why is there a need to confirm ETA, should you just splash a message that “Please be there in ETA”
Privacy Issue Should Be Clarified & Addressed. InDriver looks promising and it’s good to have more competition, but I think one aspect of the app slipped past the App Store review process. InDriver app by default has permissions to access all of the photos on your iPhone, yet there is no place in Settings to grant or revoke these permissions. That has got to be a violation of the App Store rules and I have sent notice to Apple to review how the app is able to circumvent the built in privacy controls of iOS.
Rude drivers. This inDriver have worst and pathetic drivers some can literally drive you nut , one literally came to pick me up without having so much fuel to head to my location he asked me to make payment first so he could get fuel , so i transferred to him secondly he’s so slow and uneducated doesn’t know how to use the map whenever ge misse his route he blames the passenger for not looking out , he’s rude and daft , literally talks to his passenger rudely and that’s not nice , chimela that’s his name nigerian inDriver avoid him
Option needed!. Most of time, when you make an order, some pesky drivers start to spamming sending same amount of fair again and again. After 5 times declining that driver's message your order automatically cancels and you need to repeat process all the way from beginning. So, there must be an option like checkbox 'Do not receive offer from this driver', to block them and their spam messages. And also, if they got that mark from more than one passengers - they should be blocked!
Latest update overheating device. So I have a iPhone 15 pro max and the latest update makes my phone too hot and dims the display and then the app also keeps crashing. This issue didn’t ever occur before and even now doesn’t happen with any other app but only this and my phone’s battery is not the issue as it’s at max health. Please fix this problem quickly.
Blocking the account due to too many frequent cancle.. This is to inform the devs and the management community that drivers getting stuck in various scenarios asks the customers to cancle, if the problem is of driver party, we genuinely try to tell the driver to cancle instead, since we wait for the ride to be cancled, the awaiting time is too long which might lead us to be late and will be forced to cancle the ride ourselves. Finally that results in banning our account. This is a real sad reality. I hope there will be some remedy to this situation. Thank you!
It’s good but time is always misleading. The idea is great, the service is good and you can get discounts most of the time. But the time they say the car will take to get to you is ALWAYS insanely wrong. I live in Miami and one day it showed 6 minutes for a car to get from Brickell to the airport. Not even a helicopter could do that. I hate this because it’s so easy to solve and it’s clearly because the program that way.
