Bruh. Not how to convince me to pay.. Dev. Buddy. If you expect anyone to be willing to pay for a subscription, you need to seriously reconsider. Undo/redo is a must. So is letting me do anything like erase without a subscription. I'm not gonna pay for ANYTHING i can't get a fulfilling free sample out of (and no, i don't mean cancel any time '3 months free' or whatever). You know what needs to be locked under subscription? Cool alternatives for editing. Not core needs like not making me work from SCRATCH every time my finger slips or w/e. The blurring under editing is good. If everything else about the app wasn't a flaming heap of garbage, I would've kept it, but I like practicing self-care, so I deleted and I'm continuing to look for other options.

Best app ever. This app is the best app I’ve ever used in my whole entire life like you don’t even have to pay for it because all the other apps that I have like this I have to pay for it and it’s such a waste of money so I totally totally like to really really recommend having this app it’s really good and I just don’t know what to say because the editing skills are also fantastic there amazing they make my photos look so good so I think you should get this app to it’s really cool

Glitch? Or market tactics. I was pleased with the app for the first few months. One of my favorite free photo editing apps, it allows me to be able to do quick changes without getting on my Mac and opening up photoshop. Recently I went to go and make a fix to a photo, and it had a “pro” or “premium” advertisement that wouldn’t let me use the app unless I purchased a plan. Honestly very disappointed in program, they ruined something great. I’m not going to purchase a premium plan when I already have a photoshop plan for thirty some odd dollars. As a result, I’m giving it two stars.

amazing app. I absolutely love this app, I use it to edit on my Instagram pictures and it makes your pictures looks so high-quality. I absolutely love this app totally recommend you getting it!

Awesome app. I’ve been using multiple other apps but now I can just use this one! It has many tools that other apps only have 1 or 2 of.

Poor design, doesn't save changes. This app is poorly designed. There is no undo command, so if you do something that you don't like, you cannot step backward. In addition, you can't tag a particular item so that if it moves throughout the video, it does not remain blurred. You have to figure out the area that object occupies throughout all the frames and blue the entire region. This is borderline useless. There is no documentation on how to use the tools. Even if you figure out how to use them, which I did, it's unclear how to save your work. The best thing you can do is to share it. I successfully shared it to my Cloud provider, but the changes did not save. Basically, after all the time I spent blurring an address from a video, I ended up with nothing. And I am using the paid version.

Useless. I just downloaded this app today wanting to touch up a photo but as soon as I downloaded it it knocked me constantly to upgrade to the premium version without me even get into trying it. I couldn’t even click on the photo that I wanted to touch up this app was really pointless if you’re going to beg people to upgrade to the premium version you might as well just charge for the app as a whole really useless.

Let’s me share pics without offending anyone. Lots of people these days don’t want to be seen on social media of others… This lets me take great pics of my kids in crowds, and I can just pull her out everyone but my kids.

Enhancing. So far this is the only app I’ve been able to use (unless my research is terrible) that lets me enhance and clear up blurry videos with no issues or worrying about in app purchases

I’m upset. On any other day I wouldn’t have hesitated to give this app the 5 star rating it deserves, this is one of my most utilized free apps by far and one of my go to favorites, I love all the different functions it has!! I recently updated my phone and updated all my apps and as usual I open my photo blur app and this time there is a add to purchase the pro version blocking me from doing anything... there is no way around it ... I don’t want to purchase the pro version , I’m happy with the basic free one . I now can no longer use this app and I’m discouraged and saddened by this ... please, please fix this bug so I can use my app again , and give you a proper 5 star rating . Thank you

Can't even use app!. All I wanted to do was use this app to blur a picture to make it look cool, just one picture, and I can't even use the app or do anything to it without buying pro! I'm so frustrated and mad at this app! The only thing I got to do with this app was pick what photo I wanted to blur, then when I went to edit it, it would tell me to buy pro and refused to let me use the app at all!!! The pro ad had no exit button so I had to exit and restart the app, but nothing worked! So this app is pretty much useless and I should have never bought it. All the reviews say it's bad even though the app is almost 5 stars! This is just like those apps that say they're free but then you need to buy things in the app. This app made me so mad and I would give it .1 stars if I could because it never even worked!

Could use improvements. This definitely has potential. I saw my picture look a lot better through the “edit” tab. I think there is a better way to layout the menu bar so navigating makes more sense. As for ‘blur’ under the main menu, not under edit, it was so big; I think you should be able to make anything where you are drawing, blurring, or cutting out should be able to get as small as possible. My last complaint is that it didn’t show my full picture, so I couldn’t even finish it. It cut off a section at the bottom; if I would zoom out I could see it, but the page wouldn’t show the whole thing or let me scroll. The edit tab is super impressive, and you’re not charging extra to blur like many apps are. It’s fairly decent, I would have given another star if it hadn’t cut off the bottom of the picture I was trying to edit.

First time use. The app seems to have good functionality but Im not fully sure yet. Ive used it on 1 photo so far. They need better onboarding, its a little confusing to learn how it works. Also they kept asking me for a review even though I havent used it much yet so thats annoying. I also cant seem to edit my second photo, i thought the app was free but it appears that it isnt

Hate subscription offer. I used to LOVE photo blur. Now that you have added the subscription offer, I hate it. I can no longer change the intensity, or do anything else for that matter without that annoying ad getting in my way. I click off it, try and go back to change intensity and it comes up again. I do not like these changes you have made, and unfortunately will now be searching for a new blur app to use.

Find something else. It’s not worth downloading! I opened the app for the first time and was asked to leave a review, but I didn’t and went on to blur the background of my picture like I intended to do. Well, when changing the size of the blurring brush, every SINGLE TIME I’d go to move it up or down, a pop up ad would appear to pay for their services. What’s the point of making the app free just for it to be useless? Annoying.

Freezing. The problem i have with the app is that i will be editing a picture and then the app will just freeze. It’s petty annoying and i have to close out of the app and then log back in every time it happens. It is usually happens 4-6 times every picture. I don’t know if it’s my phone because it doesn’t do that on any app besides this one. Thanks.

Horrible. Hands down the most annoying, pushy app I’ve ever encountered. Downloaded it to try it out and couldn’t even try to edit because EVERY .5 SECONDS an ad pops up begging you to buy the pro version. Then it kept asking me, 4 times in a row, to rate them. How am I supposed to rate an app I haven’t even been able to try??? Don’t market as a free app when you can’t even enter the app without being forced to pay.

Only works if you have only one thing to edit. Got the free version where you can blur the picture and somehow they only give you ONE free save. How a girl supposed to work with one free save? App often crashed like nobody’s business. Trying to edit a fast forward video for yourself and see if it doesn’t crash for ya. Mine been crashing so much it’s a waste of time! For a record I’m on iPhone 6

Tricks you into purchasing subscription. If you download this app, it will immediately ask for access to your photos, then load a screen where you are forced to choose a subscription with no way to close or back out OTHER than hitting the home button on your phone. If you’re using an iPhone and have thumbprint payments set up, this instantly purchases the subscription. I will be reporting this app immediately.

Not a good quality app. The app has a few nice features, mostly the different styles of blur. However, it limits how far you can zoom in, and is almost impossible to work with precision. Other similar apps, like Color Splash allow you to zoom in all the way to each individual pixel. This app cannot do this, and thus I cannot create a professional looking background blur effect. But if you just want to blur around someone's face, it works. Also, it has no undo or redo feature. Please fix this and make it a more useful app

Very good!. Quality is great and it’s nice that you can still save your photos even without an upgrade, which then makes me want to upgrade because I don’t feel forced lol Great App!

The only app so bad it prompted me to write a review. I barely used it for 3 minutes and almost every feature was blocked and would result in an annoying pop-up trying to get you to buy the full version (no visual indication of which features are premium prior to clicking them). It also prompted me to review the app literally right when I opened it and then again before I had finished editing a single photo. Avoid this app.

Just one thing.... There’s only one thing I would like to see in this app, it would be better for ME as a PERSON if you can blur things out just by selecting or tapping on them, instead of “coloring” the blur on them. Otherwise thank you so much for taking ur time to provide this app for us, we luv u❤️

DQuest. Definitely easy to navigate and user friendly! For many cases of blurring out something or someone that you don’t want to be seen clearly.

Bombarded with propaganda to rate before I even could use the app!. I just wanted a basic blur program to censor photos. Downloaded the app and before I could use it, it asked me for a review. I had to click at least 5 options to decline the paid version before I could even use the software. I don’t mind paying for an app I have an opportunity to utilize first, but the free version is extremely limited, not easy to use, and you’re harassed with paywall every time you click. I’m not signing up for even a free trial if I don’t know of the software is semi decent. Didn’t even have an opportunity to check it out. Terrible intro to what could have been a cool app. Too bad.

A little problem... This is just my opinion. I love the app but, I think that I should be able to adjust the intensity without having to buy pro. Because before I was allowed to do the intensity freely without having to buy a membership when I got on the app I noticed that the intensity feature would be on 2 but the way the app was I was disappointed. Because of that membership, I cannot edit my pictures the way I want. May this problem be fixed so people don’t have to pay? Please and Thank you.

I have a problem, Developer... I bought the pro features right? And one of the features of going pro was № ads, yet every time I open the app I still get ads. The last problem is that after I noticed that I tapped the “Restore purchase” the apps tells me to wait then it says that it supposedly ‘restored’ my purchase yet to see on the App Store that I never gotten a refund № matter how many times I try the restore button! Smh, thank you for the time to read this but please hear me out and find this. With all do respect, Thanks for the useful app and just those two problems that ruin the fun of the app for me.

Scam. This app wasted my time so I thought I’d keep the theme up by writing a honest review. It’s just a scam app. You can’t even test any of its functionality fully unless you subscribe. What a waste of time. I really feel for the dumb people who click without noticing they’re being scammed. I hope this company gets sued so hard it bankrupts not only the companies members but all of their extended families and even friends. Even casual friends. Hopefully some Hacker group takes them down.

How many times are they gonna ask for review?. Seems like they ask daily even after having submitted a review. The ad nag screens of the free version are annoying as is the constant badgering for a review. I stopped using this ap for a considerable amount of time due to the hassle factor. I now have the paid version and it crashes each and everything I try to use the unblur tool...

Learning this new app. This is my first time using this app so I don’t really have a review as of yet, but I’m trying to learn this app. What I really needed it to do is un- Blur some photos I took today and I can’t seem to figure it out yet. But thank you.

Best app. You can choose the size of the brush to blur and its free too you dont have to pay and waste money like you do for other apps that can blur your pictures such an amazing app and you can control how strong the blur is too its a really good app

Blur Photo Enhancement App for iPhone. This app is very intuitive and easy to use - like having a portable digital photo shop on your mobile device - fantastic!

Zero star review. It only works if you agree to the three day trial.. I thought I would try this app out to blur some background and some pictures. I’m always happy to pay for an app that works the way I need it to. First thing that happened when I open the app up it popped up at the rate this app dialog box. And then the second thing I clicked it wanted me to pay for the pro version with a three day trial and $8.99 afterwards. You literally cannot do anything with this app without signing up for a free trial.

Extremely pushy. I needed an editor to just blur a small part of a photo for my child’s safety. I was extremely annoyed with the pop ups every 2 seconds asking you to pay for a subscription. There are so many apps that do it for free, but even if I wanted to pay for this app - the subscription window pops up every time you try to click something. I uninstalled the app and will use another one. Just charge for the app itself instead of trying to get every single dollar you can and driving potential customers away. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Don’t bother!. No free uses it lets you download the app then makes you give access to your photos so that when you finally click on a picture you want to edit, it tells you that you have to subscribe to their subscription! I hate these types of app developers who use click bait as a marketing strategy. There just trying to get downloads to fool us as consumers. Very disappointed! Don’t even bother to download!

What a joke. Nine out of 10 apps these days are small free versions to entice people to buy the subscription, this one is no exception. The only reasonable part is the week that you get to play with it for free after that at $20 a week it is an absolute joke and people should not even load this. You can’t even continue using the standard free app. I apologize for being so negative but this is a complete waste of space and I only wish I could delete it from my catalog for good.

Very Irritating. I wanted to blur out some background text for the sake of my kids privacy. But the app throws a subscription pop up for nearly every action I attempted to make. The free version is essentially worthless. Bye Felicia! Not sure the devs are listening but you may find more people willing to pay for the app if you allow them to use some of the features and grow an affinity for the app.

Instant incessant pop ups for reviews and the premium version. The first thing that happens when you open the app is you are solicited for a review. I tried using the app to blur two photos and was solicited for reviews at least another 4 times and attempted to be upsold to a subscription (why a subscription?) 4 times. Basic functionality seems to work but I’d recommend finding one that’s less annoying.

Just what I needed. This app is great so far, I’ve been playing with it all morning with no issues. There’s a huge selection of editing tools and stickers if you sign in with ur adobe login (free I believe, I already had one). Good for posting content or sharing pics with friends/family

Works fine, but.... You only get one free save. Which is kind of stupid, because who would pay to just save a image when you could screenshot it. Bad marketing on their part, other than that, it’s a good app, and is good for when I need to blur out faces/my name for my instagram

App is misleading, must pay for subscription for actual use. Unfortunately, once downloaded the app only gives you two options—either you pay for full feature services which allows you to upload existing photos to blur or you select pre uploaded images for use. This is not problematic in and of itself so long as the designers were forthcoming in their intentions rather than waste my time.

Unless you want Pro it’s pointless to Install.. As the title states, if you are looking for a free tool, skip this one. You download the app. Give it permission to your photos, than you can see them all loaded and as you go to click on any photo your trying to edit, it immediately pops up with the purchase the pro version. I mean, sure it has free 3 day trial with it’s 3 membership offers but other than that was a useless download.

Good app buuuut.... I love this app, but you have to pay for it after you edit one singular photo, that’s not really fair, considering it’s a *free* app. I understand the developers have to make some sort of income out of it but does it seriously have to be like that? Cannot use without subscription. Update: I found that you don’t actually need a subscription it just pops up with almost every click. Same for the “review this app” window. After you give it permission to your photo(s) you find you can’t do anything without a subscription. At least, I’m tired of trying to find out what I can do without a subscription. Such a waste of time even trying this app. Please make it obvious that there is no functionality without a subscription.

I imported a photo to the app, instead of let me blur the pic, the app took me to a price list screen and ask me to download the pro app without even give me the chance to try any function. Average quality and spammy. The app itself is of average quality, but a couple of days after downloading it and using it I got a pestering notification saying I should use it more. Instant delete. Rubbing Vaseline over your screen in the right areas before showing someone a photo would be less annoying than a spammy app.

Horrible.. When you buy the full version, it lets you think you won't have adds and that you can select the amount of blur. That's a lie. You still only have the one selection of blur and adds still pop up. False advertising. I want my money back.

Ugh. This looks like a great app. It might even have been worth paying for. Unfortunately the ads are so aggressive that it ate fourteen minutes of my day to blur the edge on a single photo. I understand ads on free apps but this was really unpleasant and I'm going elsewhere.

Too much ads. I bought the pro version which is supposed to eliminate any ads. But anything I try to do, an ad pops up. It's extremely annoying I have to restart the app several times before I can even do anything. As far as blurring, it's really good which is why I am keeping the app. They really need to fix this.

Great app. Overall gets the job done

Great app, but.... Currently the IAP prices are largely prohibitive and will scare aware buyers. Needs more features to capitalize on its potential. Possible inclusions: - Brush Shape: add choice of brush shape, circle or square - Edges: add brush edge adjustment options: smoother edges rather than just sharp ones will open up possibilities for creative uses and ideas - Tint: blur brush color option - Text: add a static text option, and possibly duration for display time on videos (and start and end) - Crop Library: add crop shapes: premade crops, circles, squares, fancy frames, letters etc. with added color option Would be happy to see any of these additions in the future. All in all a good app, can't find another like it anywhere despite the seemingly basic idea. Recommended.

Can’t use without subscription. You literally can’t use this app without a ludicrous subscription. As soon as you go to edit a photo they throw an unclosable splash screen in your face. There’s no way I’m paying $3 a month for what should reasonably be a free or $1 app. Disgusting.

Not worth the download!!!. Downloaded this app thinking it would be cool. No, the exact opposite!!! How lame☹️, you get hit with ads for every little thing you do in the app. Plus you can’t adjust any other settings without having to pay. Anyways I don’t plan on using this app ever again and neither should you

Great Blurr App!. I love all of the different styles that you can blurr your pic, like zoom, regular, etc. I also love that you are able to hand blurr it, so that you can blurr carefully. It is also great that there is a 3 day free trial! :)

It’s a really good app.. This is not a bot. Let me hit you up with this app. It’s really good ,and you can rarely find a app that can blur both videos and photos.

It’s great but needs some fixes. This app is great but I saved to of my videos from this app that came out amazing, and I couldn’t save them. I believe that if you don’t want to get premium that there shouldn’t be a limit on saves.

Terrible. Far too expensive for the crappy quality- plenty of free apps offer the same service (or even better) It also won’t even let you save photos unless you pay, and harasses you constantly to leave a review. Don’t waste your time by downloading.

Just make it pay to download. I hate to tell you, but making your app more expensive than a Netflix subscription might deter people away from your app, especially when there are other options on the App Store. I'd rather just pay a flat fee up front than go through the stress of canceling free trials and going from app to app

It’s a rip off. They cleverly ask for the review after using it 2 mins. And the first two minutes are promising. But then you save, try to edit and immediately realize they only give you one save for free and then try to charge $19 a month. Don’t even bother, for that price there are a ton of solutions out there that are far better

Not free. You have to buy “Pro features” which are basically all of them, also the app doesn’t load on iPhone 11 it freezes after the immediate ad it shows when you open it. I went and downloaded it on my old phone to use it because it doesn’t work on 11 and it loaded but you have to buy all of the features.

Would be decent free app. This would be a decent editor if it was free but it doesn’t have any features that the free versions have, yet they want $70 a year? No thanks PhotoshopExpress does all the same things.

Couldn’t use it. Not free.. Downloaded it because it was free, opened the app and it walked me through how to use it. So I pick my own picture to mess with and the screen changes for me to subscribe and pay. No where to close out and get back to my picture. Usually apps let you use a few things for free, but pay for the extra stuff. This app didn’t let me do ANYTHING for free. Waste of a download.

A portrait of a genius. This app is very helpful for me because I have the iPhone 8 regular so I don’t have portrait mode. This app helps me make my photos portrait mode. Whoever invented this app is a genius and a lifesaver!

Good app !. I was able to take the unwanted parts of my picture and make it look natural. Very easy as well

Terrible. I've used this app for a while now & it's always been fairly buggy. But I don't need it very often, so I just deal with it & move on. But this latest version has so many ads, it's almost impossible to use unless you get the paid version. Literally every time you touch the screen, an ad pops up. Trust me, don't bother downloading. I'm deleting the app right now.

Exactly what I was looking for. This app is amazing! It allows you to adjust the intensity of the blur, which I could not find in many of the other apps. Overall 10/10.

Don't waste your time or money!. This app is awful there's no before and after button, there's no reset button to start a new photo you have to keep closing out the app, every time you try to unblur a photo the app freezes etc I bought the pro version thinking it would fix the bugs and of course it didn't. Garbage!!!!!

annoying solicitation of reviews from the start. downloaded this 5 mins ago and have literally gotten asked to review the app at least 10 times. or, subscribe to a feature. every click it’s happening. so lame app looks promising but I’ll delete as soon as im done blurring this one pic

No mean no. Every five seconds you’re berated with a request for a review. Also, you can blur, but no fixing your mistakes. How do I rate an app properly without being able to test the features? Maybe consider allowing a limited number of photos edits before restricting without paying.

Great but.... I love this app. Everything works fine fine and it’s very professional. There is one problem, however, before the recent update I was able to change the intensity of the the blur. Now I have to pay for it which is very expensive. Please give users the intensity feature back. If this app brings it back, I might be able to download it again.

Poorly marketed. Downloaded the app to see what it was about and you cannot even look at it without paying a fee. Is asks for access to your photos then once you grant access it asks you to choose a payment plan. A 3-day trial is available once you choose payment plan. What a joke! I don't even know if I want to use the app and you ask for payments to even look at it ?!?!

10/10 would recommend. Love the app you don’t have to pay unless you want over the top

Don’t waste your time.... This app is real stupid. I edit a photo. I’m fine with it. Then I save it. Go look at it and realize there is mistake on it. Go back in the app and go and fix it. Want to download it again and tells me that I ran out of free downloads and wants me to pay an overwhelming amount of money. What do you mean I ran out of free downloads?? I just downloaded one. This is garbage and a waste of time.

BlueStar. Was looking for a blurring editing app. This one does a lot more than I expected. Love the added effects with this app!

I’ve had this app for a while and not sure why it got glitchy on me for a while.. Not sure but not too excited that some of what I had access to now has to be subscribed for. I actually like the app a lot.

Loved the free version..... It is a great app. Now I can no longer access the free version. When I open the app the only option I am given is to chose between 3 levels of payment. No thanks. I’ll find another free app to use. You can force people to buy your app when it was originally free. Give us the option to upgrade. It’s wrong to just take away the free version. Buh-bye....

Meh. It asked me if I would "mind helping us out" after I declined to rate like 3 times already, and I clicked yes (as in the answer to the question, yes I mind) so that's annoying. Just trying to fix one picture but it keeps popping up rate or go premium

So fun to alter photos.. Some parts of the app are difficult to use because it is too close to the edge of the screen but over all decent app!

Free version lets you edit one photo, then pro is $20 a week?. I really liked this app—it did just what I needed—to blur out one part of a photo (journal page). And then I was only able to edit one photo on the free version, so I went to upgrade thinking it would be a .99 app or at the most $5. But $20 A WEEK?? I thought I read it wrong. No thanks.

User friendly. This app is a quick and easy solution for easy blurring and effects application. Just what I need!

Unable to blur the bottom part of photo. When I tap “Blur” & select blur type, size, & intensity the blur bar won’t go away & blocks the bottom portion of my photo. I’m unable to resize or move the photo around. Because of this I find the blur effect useless. I give it it 3 stars for its other uses.

If you want one size, one effect, and one intensity, this is your app. If you want a tiny brush that doesn’t hide anything, this app is great. Otherwise, it’s completely useless crap that prompts you every 30 seconds or every button you press to pay a monthly subscription fee.

Can’t Even Try It Out. I wanted to try this app to see how it compares to others. Well, I can’t. This app doesn’t show which filters, effects, etc. are blocked for a paying user so, you just click and hope it doesn’t have an ad popping up to pay. This app needs some sort of system so users can try a free version and then go pay for premium effects.

So far so cool!. Only complaint would be that they asked me to do a survey less than 2 minutes into using the app. Other than that it is as advertised.

Useful, basic functionality I need. I have a simple use case that this app is handy for. I don't believe the free version lets you save the edited photo.

Works for me. I don't use it extremely often, but when I do I have no issues. It gets the job done!

Cool. The effects are cool but I don’t see an undo button. That would definitely take it up a notch

it’s a good app. it’s a great app for blurring your pictures and videos but the only problem i’ve had with the app is that the free trial thing comes up a lot even when I didn’t press it.

Video blur. Super easy to use. Only suggestion would be to make it possible to select a spot to blur in a video and have it move with the object in the video.

Nice. I found the blur I did was very subtle and not too broad. It was just right. If I didn’t know what I was looking for I couldn’t even tell what I did.

Keeps Crashing. The app keeps on crashing when I try to blur a video. It only lets me do one stroke and sometimes none at all. I just had this app for 5 minutes and I deleted the app twice. The device I'm using is an iPhone 7 and I had this app on my iPhone 6 before and it worked fine. Please fix the issues because I'm trying to blur an entire video and the app is too slow.
