Poorly represented!. I downloaded this and started to review and then I deleted this app. It turns out that you don't get all the recipes that it says unless you upgrade to the Pro version for an additional $2.99. Every 2nd or 3rd recipe that you click on you get a pop up box to sell you the upgraded version. Either offer the full version at full price or get out of the "app market". Don't scam people.

Great recipes!. I’m love this app. It is easy to sort depending on diet and there is a nice variety of recipes

Nice Design, Content Needs Work. I was excited how intuitive and clean the app design is. Favorites and shopping list functions are nice. BUT it needs nutrition information. And it needs more recipes, even the pro version does not add many.

So close to being great. This is a really good app, and I want to give it 5 stars, but I find it clumsy and frustrating to navigate. If they can improve the usability, eliminating the times where I seem to be stuck without an option or menu to get off the screen I am on, then this would be a five star, great app. For reference, I am on an iPhone. Maybe this issue is specific to iOS only.

Yum…but one more thing would make it worth 10 stars. Have only tried a few of these recipes, but they are GREAT! So delicious and healthy—not boring. Beautiful photos and easy to lookup. I*only* wish that nutritional info was included as I use another app (My Fitness Pal) for logging my calories and macros (carbs, proteins,etc), and it would be a HELP help and time-savor (see what I did there? ; ) ) if this info was already figured out for me. Otherwise, wonderful app!!

Great, but.... So the reason I gave this two stars is because they have a recipe which calls for the use of gelatin. Now any good vegetarian or vegan knows that all traditional gelatin is made from the collagen derived from animal byproducts. This recipe either needs to be reworked to use a vegan gelatin substitute or removed because it is misleading. Other than that, I quite like the app.

Free Version Lame. You have to buy the paid version to get access to most of the recipes. Any recipe that piqued my interest was locked.

Great App. Lovely app with an easy to navigate layout and easy to read color scheme. Would appreciate more recipes but I like how they are designated under categories.

Irritating. A free download sure, but the really good looking recipes are locked. So to get them you have to pay for it. Not worth it.

I love the recipes in this app. They are easy to make and my favorite is the burrito bowl and the food that you make is easy to get at a market I will forever use this app for my meals👌😋

Found Animal Ingredient recipes.. uninstalling*. No stars... Found recipes that call for animal products.. people are confused in life as it is to come here looking for “vegan” recipes and find animal based ones..

Pay for app. Extremely limited availability to anything without purchasing the app.

99% Perfect!. This app is stunning to look at and the recipes are mostly things that look absolutely deliscious to me. It took me a minute to figure out the navigation of things. All that’s missing in my opinion is the nutrition details for each recipe. Calories, protein, carbs, fat, etc.

Makes veggies fun. I downloaded this app out of curiosity as I find it hard to come up with flavorful vegetarian meal ideas. This as is very user friendly, beautifully designed, and full of nutritional information. Still testing out the recipes, but will probably upgrade once I run out of recipes.

Could Be Ok.... While the app is ok, there's really only like 20 recipes you can actually get without upgrading to the pro version. They'll show you over 100 recipes, but there's a lock on each of them that asks you to pay for the recipe. I can probably find more than 20 recipes online in a short period of time than worry about sifting through what recipes are actually available to me and getting spammed with purchase requests.

No calorie count for the recipes. The app would be way more helpful with a calorie count for the items

Key to My Heart. This app is amazing, an impeccable meal planning tool for all specialized diets. It’s does it all for you .... besides paying for ingredients and eating this app has your back. As new vegan, 4 animals, transitioning has been challenging. Im finding staying vigilant extremely difficult, mostly because most my family and friends are not vegan😥🤭🤫. Without a support network in closeness during this lifestyle change, ..I was searching for someone to collaborate on meal planning, because doing it alone with all there is to think about as a fairly new vegan not to mention my disdain for meal planning was overwhelming and stress and meal planning is counter productive. Most days I Typically take the path of least resistance and imbibe lots of packaged vegan snacks and foods. GARDEN PLATE is exactly what I have been on a quest for - support, collaboration, ideas, creativity, printable ready-made shopping lists, not to mention, ALL OF THIS included for every type of specialized diet. Every type of meal infused with essential dietary needs, nutrient rich ingredients. Let’s not forget dessert, party snacks 🙌🏽🙀👏🏽!!! GARDEN PLATE, you had me at shopping list. Thank you! LASTLY....The Pro upgrade is one time charge and A NO BRAINER!🤩😋 This App completes me!

Good. The app is pretty good however you have to pay for the really good recipes.

So Worth It!. I downloaded garden plate thinking it was something different, but came to love the recipes on there. I have now tried several meals, snacks, and breakfasts in the app. Yes, it is mostly vegan, but I adjust the recipes as I think works. If I can add meat, sometimes I do. Being able to hit a button and the app add the ingredients to a shopping list makes my life so much easier. I just mark off what I have. I meal plan once a week and this app has been an amazing resource. It’s easy to navigate. I liked the free version so well that I bought the full version and have not regretted doing so. I usually never purchase apps or anything in them. This app, however, is so worth the money!

I can't make any purchases. I just downloaded this app, and it seems really well organized, and easy to use.. but when I tried making purchases it kept saying they couldn't find my Apple ID & I know my password and ID is correct.. I don't know if you can fix it or not.. but I would love to get the rest of these recipes!! Thank you

Of only there was a calorie count... Then it would be perfect!

Locked recipes. Upon purchasing the app I was really excited to begin what I was hoping to be a new life style. As I’m going through the recipes I’m thinking I can do this and then I get to the locked recipes and find that if I’d like access to the recipes that I’m mostly interested in I need to pay again???? Why do I have to pay again ? For better recipes of course. So very frustrating and a bit disappointing.

Great recipe app with some smart features. The app is very useful. I use it to create a menu and then add all the ingredients automatically to the shopping list. It would be great if i could add notes to each recipe, for example if i added something extra, or used less or more of one ingredient or even the calorie count. Worth the download

Good one issue. I love this app I think it’s great my only issue is I wish it gave you better instructions on how to cook the meal. Like it doesn’t give times on how long it’s supposed to be in the oven for and it doesn’t tell you what to put the oven at like 350? 270? Idk! If your more experienced with cooking this would be perfect but if your newer and don’t know everything like me consider another app it definitely come back to this one ☺️ as I will

Free version limited. As free apps go, this has only a limited number of recipes compared to others.

Subscribe. I hate how in order to save a recipe you have to subscribe and pay money. I love the recipes but it’s just not convenient.

Too many locked recipes. I don’t see why you bother locking your recipes for in app purchases...I can just google search the recipe title and find 10 other blogs with the same recipe 🤷‍♂️ good app, lots of great recipe ideas, but I can’t justify paying for something that’s free in abundance other places.

Pay for Premium Recipes ??? Bad. I just downloaded this app & tried to review a few recipes; but couldn’t. Then saw they were “locked.” You must pay for the premium recipes!! False advertising. And no nutritional info — poor app.

Very helpful but would like to see some tweaks. Nice recipes, great photos, helpful re shopping and meal planning. I’d like to be able to toggle the shopping list between By Recipe and By Aisle. I also avoid grains so I’d like to be able to exclude recipes with grains, or any I don’t like, so they no longer show as options.

Pretty...and pretty useless. Great interface. Beautiful photos. Neatly organized by diet and/or meal and each recipe appropriately labeled according to dietary restrictions. But most recipes require you to pay $2.99 (which I regrettably did). Then I realized paying only got me a SIGNIFICANTLY small amount of recipes compared to other recipe apps where you can add filters like GF, Vegan and get hundreds of recipes. Am I limited to those recipes until another update is released? Also useless feature on this app is the scrolling "dancing" ingredients list. Much more functional if it was word wrapped. Overall unimpressed. Everyone download Yummly instead.

Nice, user friendly app. Nice app. But you get few recipes and have to buy the rest. The recipes seem pretty simple and easy to make.

Hardly any recipes. Most are locked, meaning you must pay to upgrade the app and get them. Also, poor quality food photography. Much better food apps out there.

What I’ve been missing. I’m going to be honest here, I’m NOT a cook or good at knowing what to make. Especially, since I became vegetarian two years ago. Some days I know I don’t get the nutrition I need. Why? I have no clue what to make. I have tried to find easy recipes but everytime I come across a video recipe marked easy, it turns out to take hours to make. Plus my oven currently doesn’t work lol. I stumbled across this app looking for something else but decided to download it. Omg it’s what my brain has been missing. Great recipes. There’s very simple ones (yes not everything requires an oven haha) and this app will be staying on my phone. The app I was actually looking for ended up being a dud. That’s okay. This app made up for it! If you’re vegan or vegetarian like me, you need this app. Thank you!

Not bad at all. Going vegan for health reasons. I paid the 2.99 for premium. I think a lot of these meals are easy some I’m not interested because to many ingredients. But overall good for price!

Review and suggestion. Awesome app I suggest that you add a nutrition chart or calories of each meal, it will encourage users to use your recipes than think of their own that consists of low calories . Add party style suggestions to meals also

Difficult to read, text not resizable. It's not good because the app doesn't respect "dark mode" or text size and the text cannot be enlarged. A website would be just as fine if not better than this.

Not Vegan when it says Vegan. I just purchased the app and some recipes listed under Vegan have ingredients like: chicken broth, honey and yogurt :/ The other recipes look great though.

Eh. I’m not gonna give it a bad review because the app seems great. Good amount of free recipes! it’s not for simple vegetarian meals. Not for me personally, I guess I’m picky but great app.

Virus. This app took away photo access on all of apps. Don’t download it. It has a virus built into it. The moment I deleted it and reset my phone my photo access came back for all my apps.

Won't unlock upgrade. I purchased the upgrade and no matter how many times I hit "restore purchases" I can't get access to the extra recipes. There's nothing that says you have to get the other app either. Please fix this. Great recipes though

Thanks!. Nice looking app with great layout and pictures. Easy to find the right recipr that fits you requirements. I have a rash on my hand and was told it may be from gluten. Well, let me tell you once you try to avoid gluten you realize it's in places you wouldn't expect.

Stolen Recipes?!. I just bought this app, only to immediately find an exact recipe from a cookbook I own by a famous vegan, along with the picture from the book! Disappointed. I would love a refund.

Crashes a lot. Recipes look really nice but just scrolling through, the app crashes every two minutes. I'll pay for all the recipes once there is an update fixing all the crashes.

Not amazing. This app charges you $2-3 for many of the yummy recipes even after you get the app! Nothing amazing. Just google search food blogs online! Total waste.

tasty. crisp clear images of tasty looking foods. directions on how to make. email the directions to a friend wow!!!! only thing i wish it had was a place to put feed 6 and have the ingredients calculated for me!
