Nothing Bundt Cakes App Reviews

Not impressed!. A bit aggravated that I have to put my credit card in to get rewards. One does not equate to the other. So then if I need to use a different card I won’t get rewards!! I have been a long time customer with my purchases being made through my online account (once app setup - apparently isn’t syncing to the online account). So why do I need the app?!!! This needs to be remedied. Currently none of my past purchases are showing in the app either ☹️

New app is terrible. Downloaded, logged in and had to add my credit card? Which first off is not a good sign. Then it wouldn’t find the locations near me, even when I typed them in manually! So I decided the app is garbage and immediately deleted it. Too bad because I get a lot of rewards emails and was going to use them for my daughters birthday, now I’m going with a different bakery after this fiasco.

Great service. The Chattanooga location always has friendly staff and a nicely displayed store.

Rewards. If ordering in store, rewards should be accessible through the app without online ordering.

Yum. Nothing Bundt Cakes is my “go to” spot for desserts. Love that I can order using the new app AND get perks for my orders. I was happy just getting delicious treats. Now I get more free goodies? Count me in

Easy to use. It was super easy to order, customize and make changes so my order will be ready when I arrive.

Storing Card Info For Rewards?. Longtime Nothing Bundt Cakes customer and I tried the app. The first red flag for me was the obligatory storing of my card info to make earning rewards points “easier” or going through the hassle of obtaining a physical receipt to upload manually. I’ve never heard of a rewards program going this route. I also wondered if a person linked the card but used Apple Pay - which creates an entirely different card that’s tied to the original for security purposes - would earning rewards become an issue, despite the stored card. I contacted Nothing Bundt Cakes on three occasions and never received a response. Honestly, I’m no longer going to be a customer.

Easy to Use App. I like this app since it is straightforward and easy to order. Selections are easy to make and see pictures with options and related costs. I ordered my first cake for pickup. Will use this easy ordering app again.

Unusable.. I picked the email address I had been placing Nothing Bundt Cake orders with. When I got to the credit card screen, it told me I already had a Thanx account with this credit card number and that I would have to use that email address instead. No problem—EXCEPT that I can’t possibly do that. There is no back button. There is no change my email button. There is no logout button during the signup process. I even deleted and reinstalled the app, and it still starts me past where the email address has already been put in. I decided to say I would scan my receipts instead, thinking I would finish this and then there would be a log out button to start over. Only then I couldn’t complete signing up that way either. This is insane. I’m not going to waste any more time on this, but I do hope you fix it.

Love the app!. The app is very user friendly and makes ordering so easy, even when I needed to make changes.

Happiness in an app!. I’m so happy they switched over from the cards to this! It was hard keeping up with a card. Also online ordering is going to make my back even bigger! Thanks! No seriously, THANK YOU! So happy the app runs smoothly and offers a chance to get points from previous cards used.

New App Use. I order fairly frequently (a few times a month) and often receive promos as a benefit. I was excited to use the app when I saw it! I typically prefer an app to a website, so I wanted to love it. I saw the prior month’s special still available, so I was thrilled! That sometimes happens when there are leftovers, so I placed them in my cart for order. Then I headed to checkout. This is where my disappointment began. First, I was unable to use my promo for purchase. It kept telling me only 1 promo could be used. There were no others redeemed and it still would not redeem. Then, it would not allow me to use Apple or Google pay as an option, only a credit card which I could store. If I did, I could get rewards points. If I didn’t, no points. So, while it was a nice app and has great possibilities, there’s some work to be done.

Disaster of an app. The app looks amazing but won’t allow you to order from stores that don’t participate in their new loyalty program. This makes the app totally useless for me. The app should allow for ordering from all stores just like website does and only accrue loyalty points for those that participate. This is a very unintuitive experience and doesn’t allow you to find stores near you when you are traveling in a new area, which will hurt those franchisees that don’t participate.

Order pickup. Olivia and Jennifer were very patient as I ordered through the app. Very willing to assist with any issues or questions I had. Great staff

Not so great. Um so you’re app doesn’t offer our town on the app because Wichita Falls has a store so why isn’t it on the list

L. A. K.. We have been coming to this fun uplifting bakery since they have opened! For gifts and gatherings, I’m a fan of the minis and even gifts! They always put a smile on our friends faces! The flairs are all delicious! Pumpkin is yummy!

Excellent app. So easy to place my order! As a mom and running errands all day long, this is the easiest way to get the best cake at the most convenient time.

Great Bundt Cakes. Every year, I order something from here for my husbands birthday because they are always fresh, taste great, give good options and are on time with no errors. They are dependable …but order in advance because they are busy! Thank you Shorewood Nothing Bundt Cakes for making my life easier every November !

Pam M. I have ordered a different bundt cake for over a year now for special occasions. Trying a different flavor each time. The cakes are a crowd pleaser because they are delicious and very moist. Everyone looks forward to guessing which flavor I will bring next!

Payment. I just wish I could have done Apple Pay instead of having to type in all my info.

APP Capabilities. I’m never a fan of uploading credit card information to an app. Please consider gift card capabilities and being able to upload an already purchased gift card to the app as a payment option. Please consider the ability to have the app scanned at time of purchase to receive credit rather than having to take a picture of and upload the receipt. Appreciate the concept of entering the app world, but it needs a lot of tweaking!

To whom it concerns. I’ve always had great success when visiting the Denton location. Everyone is polite and the cakes are delicious.

I’m not storing a credit card in app to get rewards. It’s ridiculous that you have to store a credit card in the app to get rewards. I realize that you can get some rewards by uploading receipts but that’s fiddly and not customer friendly and you get less rewards so it’s definitely not worth the hassle. I don’t shop often because who really needs to eat this kind of thing on the regular, but now that the physical punch cards are apparently obsolete and your app wants 24/7 access to my credit card, I guess I won’t bother to shop at all.

Best Bundt Cakes in K-Town. This is the number one spot for all Bundt cake fans. We have not found a flavor that didn’t meet all of our greatest expectations. Friendly staff, and excellent product!

I’m in love!!. These cakes are so cute!! They are so delicious! Sometimes the icing makes them too sweet depending on the flavor. But you can order those flavors with no icing. The app is awesome. I love ordering online and having quick pickup.

No Title. We have loved this place since they came to Greenville. Always great service and a delicious product.

Disappointed. I was excited for an app and the opportunity to earn rewards. However, I was surely disappointed to see that I have to connect a card to get points and certain bonuses. For one thing, I don't always use the same card for purchases, and second, you won't let me connect my discover card. I also think it's odd that I have an entire account set up and created and it can't just connect to it. I have to redo all that work. I use plenty of rewards apps and this is by far the quirkiest and least useful. I thought I was going to be in trouble by having easy access to ordering and ordering too often but I guess I won't.

Location. The app doesn’t have the location of the store in Bakersfield. It makes it impossible to order online because I don’t have a location to put down!

Wonderful Store. This store is the best thing Aiken could ask for. Always fresh products & a good variety. Nice friendly staff.

Not a huge fan so far of the app. You can’t use Apple Pay, you can’t use a discover card as your rewards card and I don’t like that you have to link and save a card on file. The app is also glitching already because it told me my card was invalid twice even though the information was right but by the third time that I hit submit, it finally went through. The app also glitched when I was trying to select a location. So I’m not a huge fan of the app but I do love their cakes and I buy them often so I like the idea of having a rewards program.

Excellent. The cakes are delicious and the folks inside are always nice. Will you add Apple Pay to the app, this would make checking out a lot easier.

Let down. I was excited for this app since the cakes are so yummy. But , it didn't connect with the website where I already had an account and orders. So I uploaded my previous receipts and, never got points or any kind of response that they were denied for any reason. It would be nice to be able to have PayPal as an option to load in the app instead of my credit card. I received a coupon via email from the bakery I go to & the coupon would not work in the app, but it does work on the website. I will be deleting. ☹️

The Rewards system needs work. I shouldn’t need to put a card on file to earn rewards through a mobile order. Additionally, there should be a feature to scan the app in store rather than uploading a receipt and that may or may not work. A customer friendly food app has to have an easy to use reward system for people to want to use it. I probably won’t reach for this app because of the rewards system and mobile ordering doesn’t speed along purchasing

Best cake of all!. Great tasting cake for all occasions. My favorites are the red velvet & confetti. Cakes are moist & not too sweet depending on how much frosting you want. Even if you put in the fridge for a few days, the cake is still so good.

Finally!. I’m so happy Nothing Bundt Cakes finally has an app and loyalty program! Now I can earn points whenever I make a purchase at my local bakery 🎂🧁

Super Easy AP!. The perfect way to order a sweet treat when you are stuck at work for a 9 hour shift!

Missing stores. I can’t understand why a couple stores in my area are not listed. This is frustrating. To earn rewards also looks to be a PITA. It would be easier if ALL stores were listed. That way I wouldn’t have to upload card info or submit a receipt to get points. This makes no sense in this day in age with the technology we have in 2024.

Nothing Bundt Cakes. I am having a really hard time with this store and/or location !!! I love, love, love everything that they have to offer. I’m going to have to learn to control myself and not order $120 of bustles and a full size cake also !!!

Not a Fan. Don’t Link a Debit Card. What the app fails to tell you, and I only just found out by clicking app support from this page, is that if you link a Debit Card, and use it like a Debit Card, you won’t get points linked to your account. You need to run it as a credit card, which is dumb. Now finding this out the hard way as I went to Nothing Bundt yesterday, spent $30, failed to get my receipt, and now have no reward points. Also the punch cards, as I was told, are now obsolete even if they aren’t expired. But the worker did me a “favor” by still punching it so that I could redeem the free Bundt cake. Yeah so gracious since there was no indication that an app was coming or that the punch cards wouldn’t work anymore.

So yummy. There has not been a flavor that I have tried and not liked! The customer service is always amazing, and the store is super cute!

You should definitely download this app!. Not only you get rewards, but they have cheap cakes that tastes amazing and the perfect size! If you are ever on a budget and need a gift to give someone, this is the place to go! Their customer service and support team is awesome and super helpful, they are quick to respond and get any problems fixed that same day. This business is amazing and I hope you’ll get to experience their wonderful cakes.

Payment trouble. I was excited about this new app and reward system but so far it keeps giving me trouble with the payment method despite entering it correctly multiple times! I think the new app has potential once the bugs are worked out.

Love new app. App is easy.. but somehow prior Apple Pay purchase has my cc stored to a different email than I signed up with the app and will not credit rewards purchases.

Location near me. I downloaded the app for reward points and all that it has to offer, but when placing an order on it I found out it doesn’t have any locations near me. Weird because there are two different locations near me. Please update the location or help me understand why they are not there. The cakes are delicious, the employees at my local store are so nice and helpful. 5 stars for the quality and taste of the cakes and 5 for the employees but 1 star for NOT having any location near me on the app. Thanks!

Delicious!. I odered a 12 pack of the bundtlettes when my in-laws came for a weekend visit. What a hit!!! Everyone one of them was wonderful, fresh, moist, delicious, and the cream cheese icing was too die for! It's hard to pick a favorite, they were all so good, but the lemon and the double chocolate were wonderful. The latter tasted like a cup of cocoa. This will definitely be my go to for visitors. In fact, I just place an order for just us. Everyone deserves bundtlettes during a hurricane!

New App Needs Something. The only thing I can see this App needs is the ability to choose a Bundt to see what is IN it (especially new flavors) - this is available on the Crumbl Cookie App and I love it!

No back or log out button. I just downloaded the app and went to “log in” to begin tracking rewards. I typed in my email when prompted but accidentally hit “sign up” instead of “log in” as I already have a nothing Bundt cake account associated with the email. I thought I would be able to go back as this usually happens (sign up buttons are always bigger, usually log in buttons are underneath in small letters which I never understood). However MOST apps/websites let you go back. This one does not, no matter what. You can delete your data, delete the app, etc it will take you back to the sign up questions. As you answer them you cannot go back to change them. It’s very frustrating how a simple function doesn’t exist to the point it’s just not worth the rewards. Ordering online has never failed me!

Doesn’t list all locations. I downloaded the app for the rewards program and easy ordering, however my local store isn’t even listed (Jeffersonville, IN). It is listed on the website, but the app. Please update the app with all locations.

Won’t accept promo codes. I occasionally get promotional emails with a BOGO offer which I love to use to try new flavors. Why can’t those be used in the app?

Not allowed to take a picture. I think the app is great the only thing is I can’t submit my receipt when I bought in the store. I’ve already enable the camera. please help.. I don’t want to miss out on points

Oreo dirt cake. I tried this pop up Oreo dirt cake, was so glad I did!! The Oreo pieces & chocolate pudding really made this 5/5. I would HIGHLY recommend😋

Very Disappointed. Three major problems today 1) No Buy One Get One survey 2) The app said there was a 30 minute wait but I walked right in. No one there and plenty of cakes available 3) Why are you charging $1 extra? The cakes are already overpriced.

Locations not Updated. A location recently opened up and it would be nice if that location was on the app so I can easily order, but looking at other reviews this seems like an ongoing issue.

Half an App. I don’t get this app at all. There are three store locations near me in Akron/Canton area, yet none are listed in this app—so I can’t earn points?!? What’s the purpose of the app then—just for “select” states or cities???? Great Bundt cakes, but worthless app and point accumulation.

Big screen. The app is not compatible with iOS. When I press the 3 lines for the menu I can’t resize so I can’t read what’s on the menu. It is all off screen to the left.
