Audiocopy. I purchased a bunch of samples on audiocopy and when I deleted the app they were gone and it’s trying to make me pay again for the samples I already bought. Please fix this issue ASAP. I emailed them I haven’t heard anything from yet.

Having trouble exporting. Hey team! I didn't want to give you a bad review, I'm just looking for some help. I can't export just one song from iMPC Pro 2 and play it / share it through Audio copy. I've exported it a handful of times and it still won't work. Any other song I've exported, and additional ones after have worked. What can I do differently...?

PLEASE MAKE THIS ONE CHANGE!. I love your product and I own close to 100 audio packs. It would be so nice if I could be able to rearrange the packs in my own order or even some sort of functionality like folders for different music genres. As it stands, The audio packs show up on the left-hand side in the order that they were downloaded. PLEASE add the ability to rearrange the audio packs in whatever order you want and/or put into folders. This small change would help so much!

Mobile audio workhorse. This app has been around forever. If you’re working with audio on iOS, you already know it.

Love this app. AudioCopy is my go to app for recording my memos. I also like the editing functions. Retronyms has been super helpful with answering all of my questions and pushing out updates!!! Cheers to the developers and customer support people. Your crew is great.

This is rough. Trying to use impc pro 2 and hate this is the only way to transfer my sounds from my files library. Half the time it doesn’t update with my files and when it does sometimes it takes hours before they appear in audio copy. take notes going back to BeatMaker 3

No basic file management functions. The main audio editing functions are there but you can’t even delete or duplicate files. Also no Apple Files app support? It’s been 2 years since the release of iOS 11. The content store also lacks enough original packs. Why would someone buy dumbed down version of a sample pack in this app when we can buy the full pack from the same big companies on desktop and use it in every piece of software that we have? People at Retronyms have had a couple of really cool ideas but their user experience design is stuck in 2010 apparently. You guys need to make a proper comeback and don’t look back if you want to keep your place in today’s market.

Be aware Abandoned by Developer. In 2020 still no support for iPhone X/XS/11 screen sizes. Developer do not reply to comments here (probably don’t care). I bought many sound packs here with a hope that developers keep it current. Very disappointed!!!! Update: Got a response from Developer saying it supports iPhone X/XS/11 ... my review above says “screen sizes”. As of today Mar 5, 2020 .. over 2 years from the original release date of iPhone X, the App still does not support new screen resolutions of the new generation of iPhone (now we have 3 generations that the Developer ignored). You see big black banners on top and bottom as it is still stuck in iPhone 7 era screen resolution support.

Catalog needs “search” feature. The fact that it’s been around this long and lacks basic search functionality is bonkers

Could be much better. First of all, there is a current issue with the app crashing when I click on the Browse tab... that is what brought me here today to leave this review as it NEEDS to be fixed. It crashes on both my iPad and iPhone running the latest iOS 12.4.1 release, so I both cannot search for sample packs nor even download previous purchases I have already made. And I doubt the upcoming iOS 13 update will FIX anything, haha. Even if that is fixed the app gets two stars from me, and only because the sample packs have relatively good quality sounds. The usefulness of the actual app is drastically hindered by not having Files integration, as compared to AudioShare which is my go-to app for housing my sample collections as well as for simple audio utilities. There’s no reason to keep two or more copies of each sample on my device with limited storage. The app works as a sample store where you can purchase sample packs—OK—maybe I’m expecting too much to think that I would be able to manage my audio files there as well.

IMPC Pro 2 Brought me here…. I was directed to AudioCopy to get the free sound packs after completing the tutorial. I was excited to start messing with the program and even purchased other packs to get me started. Unfortunately IMPC Pro 2 won’t connect to AudioCopy. Odd considering it’s what brought me to the app. You’d think they’d be compatible. I couldn’t find a support button in-app so I’m at a loss and figured I’d write a thing to warn others. Hoping it will get fixed. Looks like a great catalog and a good looking app.

Battery drainer. Serves the purpose but 50% of battery is gone in 20 hours due to that app background activity with notifications, background updates and multitasking disabled. I’ll be looking for alternative

Should I Give Up?. When I purchased this app, I was under the impression that I would be able to transfer my sound library to my MPC desktop software. It has been a while, and I still cannot use the iTunes File Transfer feature. Have you stopped working on this app; has the ability to drag the ACPApps folder to the desktop been purposely disabled; or is the app malfunctioning? I would appreciate a response, so that I can make an informed decision regarding any future purchases.

Utter trash. Do not buy iMPC2 app - this app (audio copy) will not work and you will be left with a pretty app that does nothing. Zero response from devs. These folks won’t get another cent from me - hardware or software. Unbelievably irresponsible and careless attitude by this dev.

UHG... more mysteries to solve from Apple. Why oh why can’t we drag n drop? It’s sooooooo stupid. It’s an iPhone thing I know but it’s dumb. Why can’t this app open a file on my device? It’s like iPhone n it’s apps do nothing the way we’ve done it for decades... drag file into file folder, then apps see file folder.

Strange. I love this app. It does what I need. But I have only 2 songs in the app each around 10mb and my phone says the app is over a 1GB, how?

So outdated can’t use on 2023 iPhone. I have lots of purchased content and I used to use with mpc and mpc pro2 and other apps. I tried to use and nothing works. Can’t restore my purchases. Can’t go back from a screen. Can’t copy packs to mpc Just a total fail. Seems the developers have abandoned the app. Useless. The interface is old looking and clumsy. Definitely not up to modern app standards. Such a shame. You would think AKAI (a big name) would be upset that they partnered with retronyms and such a horrible app. Sad thing is years ago Retronyms was an awesome company with decent apps. It appears they cashed in on all of us and then just disappeared and abandoned their apps. The apps are still avail for morons who want to throw away money but I wouldn’t. Do not buy!!!! Compatible apps. You should add a section above compatible apps for “favorites” so that one doesn’t have to scroll through all of the apps to find the one that they want to use.

Works Great. This app has nNy uses, from recording meetings to sound clips. Integrates with many sound sites/apps, and is fairly intuitive. Highly recommended!

App needs and Update. Some serious freezing going on.. As of today, the app won’t record the full time that I have been playing. It’s cutting off half of my audio. And when I go to play back any recordings from today, there’s no waveforms. And it won’t show me the full time recorded, it says 0:00.

Must have. Cant produce without it

Broken Tab for Loops and Sounds. Every time I click on the Loops and Sounds tab it crashes, it needs improvement otherwise

iPhone files error.. Hi, I’ve used this app for a few years now and have never had any issues. Until today, I tried to open one of the splice samples in my files into AudioCopy, and it said “unable to open file”. I’ve done this process hundreds of times with splice samples and this is the first time I’m seeing this message. From audiocopy I import my samples into imaschine. The app won’t let me copy any of my samples from the iOS files app. Please help.

CANT PURCHASE DUNGEON TRACKS!!!!. I have been trying to purchase DUNGEON TRACKS but there is no price and when I click to purchase it, it closes the app!!! Please fix ASAP!!!!!

Very basic and not helpful. At the time of writing this, I downloaded several drum packs with the intention of importing them to iMaschine through AudioCopy. However, in attempting to do so, I’m simply met with an error message telling me that the app is unable to open the file without further explanation. There’s no help section, or settings section, or FAQ for you to refer to when dealing with this problem. I’m simply left to stare at the error message and continue to replicate the results over and over again with no foreseeable solution in sight. The whole reason I got the app was so I could use samples from 3rd parties on my DAW, as that’s what this app advertised. I’ll be promptly uninstalling as I’m left disappointed that it could not carry out the sole purpose it was intended for.

Don't Buy!. Doesn't even open anymore. Retronyms are a sub-par coding outfit. Update March 23, 2018: Right now on the content store, under the “All Packs For Two Bucks” section, they have 1 pack out of 13 available for $1.99. Retronyms are still not worth your money or attention.

Good app, could improve.. AudioCopy is a good overall app for iOS musicians but could improve in so many ways. The design is good... but sometimes the app crashes. Libraries sound decent but at times you could feel that different libraries got the same sounds that you already purchase before.

Restore purchases doesn't work on iPhone. I can see them on my iPad, not iPhone. The app on iPhone is pretty horrible, Update: UI is poor, I expected restore purchases to download into sounds, but it only flags purchased content in the browse section as purchased, indicated by a cloud icon and no price. This means you have to browse the entire catalog and download each purchase one by one, and for some strange reason there is no "sort by purchased" option to make this 10 times easier, or better yet, where is the download all purchases option? Very basic functionality here that would go far in improving the app.

Dungeon Tracks soundpack. No price for the dungeon tracks soundpack for some reason..has been up for a few days though

Needs Files Support. Currently I’m using AudioCopy to import samples from iCloud Drive to iMPC Pro 2. The only way I’ve found to do this is to select the file in the Files app then share it to AudioCopy. This works well, however, I haven’t been able to import entire folders at once. Even if I select all of the samples in a folder and share them to AudioCopy, only one sample is sent to AudioCopy and its usually not even the first file in the list. I have a ton of folders with drum machine samples so this workflow will take a very long time. Also, once I have imported the samples into AudioCopy they get thrown into the “Documentsapp” folder with no apparent way to organize them into subfolders. These things maybe be possible using iTunes FileShare, I haven’t tried that yet, but I think Files app support with drag and drop would make for a more efficient workflow with out the need for a desktop computer. Other than that great app! The content store and audio packs are awesome!

Love this app!. I’ve had this app for a couple weeks now and I have to say I love it! One of my favorite parts is the content store! It’s super cool you can test out the sounds before you buy them. I love that! Buy this.

AudioCopy. AudioCopy is not pasting the packs correctly. When I tap paste, it doesn’t show the names of the sounds that are being pasted. All it does is turn white the whole screen turns white and after a bit it will just show a notice saying would you like to paste in library or on your pads. The app AudioCopy sometimes freezes and kicks me off at times... There was suppose to be a update that fixes certain bugs. But still I haven’t seen any improvement.

58% background usage in a day?. I have to go to work and see my folks far away and my battery’s almost gone from a charge last night. Just what are you doing on my phone that takes that much usage up?

Files support Please. Great place to accumulate a nice selection of sounds for cheap. The only problem is not being able to select entire files let alone packsto share Easily, I can’t believe after all this time nobody has made files easier to transfer instead of individual samples (nobody has time for that!?) if it was easier to use with my other sample based instruments like my MPC I would be here on the regular not so much as is though?!

Importing Error. I’m no longer able to import audio files from an outside source (Audio Share). Please fix. Other than that, everything is good.

Cannot use for what I bought it for.. I want Audio Share capabilities - back and forth copying. So I use Audio Share ( great app). The problem is that on some older apps the import function is solely through through Audio Copy (in this case Elsa) and it does not work. I can’t even get it to import samples that I somehow imported in the past.

Unable to load file message. Everyone I try to import a sound from folder from my files it gives me this message what can I do? This app is useless please help

The app is heavy on the battery. A lot of audio apps interact with each other without eating up the batt, so i guess fixing consumption is doable

100% Garbage. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!! This app is total GARBAGE. It crashes often. In Dark mode you cannot read any text in the app (everything is just white). There is also no need for an app like this. Copy and paste is a built-in feature of iOS... there is just no need at all for an app to act as a go-between for copying and pasting audio. Maybe a million years ago on iOS 2.0 there was a legit need for something like this, but now it is a dinosaur, with no purpose at all except to make the lives of iOS musicians more painful than they already are.

would be great to have a favorites list or a way to mark loops as faves. This app would be much more functional if there were ways to mark or list loops as faves, or organize individual loops into groups, so that they would be easier to export to our music apps. I find myself looking through and auditioning loops and then not doing anything with them because by the time I listen to a few more I've forgotten the one I started with to find compatible choices. I don't want to sit with pen and paper to make notes but realistically that is the only way to remember what you want when you have a lot of material stored in this app.

Unable to import splice sounds. I have been using AudioCopy for about a year now and, out of nowhere, I cannot import sounds from splice anymore. This is how I import sounds to iMaschine. This is a devastating inconvenience to say the least

No customer support. Now useless to post on SoundCloud. I have been using this app to upload my music directly to SoundCloud. Now I can’t get it to link with my SoundCloud account, so it’s become useless in that regard. Several emails to support have resulted in no reply.

Terrible in every respect.. Wow lol, Retronyms finally released an update...maybe they actually fixed some bugs too... They make cool apps but always have lots f bugs and glitches high are rarely fixed. Too bad I lost interest in using iMPC Pro 2 in the ~6 months it took them to fix this. Currently using Audiobus and an array of compatible apps such as Korg Gadget, Beathawk, various synths, etc., and my workflow is very smooth...I can even play live sets in this fashion without braking from production to load a file or anything. Touchable is an amazing iOS MIDI controller for Ableton live, and rivals their "Push" hardware MIDI controller. These guys never update any of their apps. They also are the creator of iMPC Pro and Pro2. They tend to release things that are VERY GLITCHY and are very slow to fix problems, if they do at all... I recommend staying away from Retronyms. Btw, using AudioCopy is a huge pain and inhibits workflow drastically.

They never fix anything. Is it the same old app that has not been updated that actually does anything this thing crashes so much? It’s not even funny. Most of the times you can’t even get the out that you already purchased. have used this on an old iPad. I’ve used this on a new iPad. I’m actually writing this review from a new iPad Pro and same old thing crashes when loading. I’m assuming it’s gonna have the same problem. I used to have as well when a pack is already loaded and down the line an update happens either for the iOS or for the app that you’re using and the pack will never load which stops your song from loading .this app was really good back in the day. They just have an updated it so it works like it used to.

Useful utility that is Out of Date.. Update: No longer use Audiocopy since they are stuck in yester-year. I mean, OMG, it STILL doesn’t suppler 24-bit audio! Useless for the discerning audiophile. All are Retronyms is interested in is selling sound pack and poorer audio quality. —— Does what I need adequately. I'm moving on to 24-bit, is AudioCopy?

Not clear when you buy a sound pack. Instead of saying “X-# of loops and samples” It would be very helpful if the info actually told you how many samples specifically, and how many loops specifically. Personally I don’t use loops. So it’s very disappointing when I preview a sound pack, like the sounds, purchase it, only to find out it’s 95% loops and maybe 2 one-shots and a bass note. That alone has kept me from purchasing any more soundpacks. Just be more clear with the info please.

Needs more. Compatible apps should be alphabetical order, they should include the splice sounds app. Basic, minimum amount of options.

Bug. I download the app to use with the korg iKaossilator app. But I can load files from my iTunes from this app?

Crash. The app crashes as soon as it opens.

Won't play imported audio files. I can successfully share to AudioCopy from AudioShare, but playing back any file within AudioCopy just doesn't work. Only working option is the delete button making this useless on my iPad.

Bug- recording skips.. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but when I record stuff it occasionally skips about a seconds worth of recording, so I can't get a full good recording of anything. Get that sorted or tell me how to fix it. Otherwise good app.

Latest version is tip-top. I’m currently using the latest version to copy from GarageBand to Looperverse without hassle.

No Files or Dropbox. Crazy that they want me to use iTunes file share. I haven’t plugged my iPad into a PC in years. I have all my samples in Dropbox or iCloud, I can’t even export files in those apps to AudioCopy which means I can’t get them into iMPC Pro 2 unless I import them into an IAA app and then record that. This is horrible. I wish I didn’t waste my money on iMPC Pro 2 and can’t get samples into it without going back to the 2010’s without cloud support. I should be able to simply add folders I have in the cloud. This is shady business practice trying to make you buy their packs and making it complicated to get stuff in. Whatever I’ll just play things on my iPhone from Dropbox and feed it into the iPad line. Should have gone with Beatmaker 3.

Problems. I think it's a great app, I've used it to record a bunch. But lately it's been very glitchy, and all it will record is static, I hope you fix this seeing as I love the app

Like SoundCloud, it only gets worse.... Any files you want to share in iOS? This fascist piece of garbage holds the hammer...And what a broken, buggy, out of touch, dysfunctional hammer it is. This dumb little dictator no longer even has a page, an area, with the audio you copy to it! Nice, so not only does it not support multiple bit rates, like the infinitely superior and intelligently designed Audioshare, it does not even do basic functions anymore...Nice job, there, AB haters...

A Great Way To Use Up 30 MB. I like and dislike this app at the same time. There are tons of apps where you can export samples (which is the intention of the company), but the majority of apps are paid. It seems like Retronyms wants you to use other apps. The sound packs are stupidly expensive. $12 (Canada) for less than 100 samples. Sound packs come from other companies, mostly LoopMasters. About 60% of sound packs are House, Trap, or Bass Music genres, so basically this app is targeted for mainstream musicians and not necessarily all electronic musicians. This is still a good app, and I would still download it. However, I would also download Novation Launchpad, because you can play with samples on a grid, record them on the app, and export them to SoundCloud and many other locations. The only thing it can't do compared to this app is export sounds. Launchpad eats up space though, so only get the two if you have over 10 GB.

Crash!!!. In other words, since you have tried to introduce inter app purchases, I can't use the app unless I turn off my wifi? Fixing this problem might be a priority, especially since I would like to look at some of those new loops you are offering....

Versatile tool. Great app for moving audio between apps, useful with tabletop for sure. Added sample packs and with the integration its pretty awesome to get into.

File structure inflexible and useless for maintaining a library.. e thisUnfortunately, it is necessary to purchase and install this App as it has become the gateway to using the file import and export features in many 'professional' music making apps for iOs. You would think, that being a platform for storing and managing a collection of audio files, sounds and samples, that there would be some way to file and organize everything to suit your organizational needs and workflow. It would seem obvious that this would be one of the most important aspects of an app like Audiocopy.... except it has been COMPLETELY omitted and sidestepped entirely. I use this app as nothing more than a gateway to other Apps. Jus an extra annoying step I am unable to avoid. If you want a useful library tool, get Audioshare which fortunately does interface with a lot of other Apps, including Audiocopy, thank heavens... so ther is a way to work around this app being completely useless, by using another app as a bridge, of course.... sigh... Retronyms, Audiocopy is nothing more than an annoying extra step and a storefront for purchasing over priced sample packs... This has the potential to be a great utility for managing a library and editing samples. For a great example of that, check out Audioshare and implement some of their useful ideas and features. Custom folder structure, moving, renaming and deleting kutiple files... notes and text files, an audio recorder with audiobus capability, zip file extraction, web downloader... an intuitive audio editor with simple implementation for looped playback... these rore all basic features for an audio library app... of which yours has none... how you have managed to make this the gateway audio copy/paste format for nearly every 'professional' audio app is baffling... combine the features of Audioshare with say...something like Any Tune Pro and keyOmeter and give musicians a useful tool instead of an annoying extra step in our workflow... jeeeez

Boo. Recordings skip always, supported apps are either paid, crap, or both. Boo soundcloud and boo this app. You all disgust me.

Help. It's not letting me delete previous recordings

Crashes every time I try to open it. Can't open this app; it crashes every time I try.

Needs more work and testing.. I purchased several sample packs, and after counting the actual samples downloaded, discovered that they did not fully download. Most packs promise 100 one shots and loops. Usually about 3/4 successful. So I deleted the app, reinstalled and downloaded again. Same thing, only partial downloads. I deleted and reinstalled the app a third time a few days later. Same thing. Deleted and reinstalled a fourth time, again after a few days between attempts. Now all I get is a neverending prompt for my password. Don’t even get to the download stage. This app needs some serious testing and debugging.

Needs work. I got this free app out of curiosity and looked at it There are no sounds included. Seems awfully cheap of them. When I first opened the app I was notified of a free sound pack being available - if I signed up with my email address etc. I skipped the option at that time because I just wanted to look at the app more first. I looked. A bunch of fairly pricey sound packages. Some cool sounds though. So I’m interested enough that at least I’d like to hear what the “free sound pack” is like so I can figure out how the app even works. But now... what the offer is gone (?) I can’t find any option anywhere within the app to get me to the mysterious ‘free content’, which doesn’t feel as ‘free’ now that I’ve had to waste all this time scratching around for it and writing this review...

Terrible. Unintuitive relic of an app. Breaks audio on my device when opened (bass disappears). Can't figure out how to delete files, may not be possible. Use AudioShare instead, it is much better.

So far a great app. This app is great and all but even though it's compatible with 232 other apps, the one I use isn't on there. Please help and make Edjing compatible with the audio paste feature. Thanks.

Essential. How is this free?. Amazing way to manage and move audio on iOS. Upload to Dropbox is soooo amazing for my workflow between collaborators and to my PCs. Thanks retronyms. What will you guys think of next? This is the type of functionality you would love native in an OS but apple would never do it as it makes the iPad too much of a Swiss Army knife.

Great app, but...... I love this app a lot, but lately when I try to delete recordings it crashes. I've had to completely remove the app and data, and deleted recordings I didn't want to just to clear space. Btw deleting and reinstalling the app didn't fix the issue :(

Not bad but.... Updated: went from 3 stars to 1. On an iPad Pro, iOS 9.3.2, it just doesn't work anymore. I record something into AudioShare, and try to use AudioCopy to bring that into Gadget. Gadget does not recognize that the file has been copied, and looking within AudioCopy, AudioShare folder is empty. I have now tried recording on other apps, and again, unable to bring anything successfully into Audiocopy. I have used this app before many times, I know how it works, not a newbie, it's just totally broken. The previous reviewer who said the best thing is to delete this app was correct. Audiocopy ruins normal internal audio clip copy/paste within iOS. Deleting Audiocopy restores this function. I'm sorry to be writing such a harsh review, but this app actually degrades the normal functionality of an iPad. I mean, if you expect this to be a normal regular part of our workflow, it's got to be a bit more stable than this. An update shouldn't make it completely dysfunctional. --------- Good . . . when it works. Crashes a lot for me. Like it when it works, but it is unreliable, even using the same apps, sometimes it works, sometimes it crashes. Started using AudioShare, that works every time.

Absolutely terrible.. The amount of sound quality that you lose using audiocopy is a nightmare. I was shocked the first time I used it because I consider SoundCloud to be very professional and this is anything but. Since the app's focus is on sound you would think they would actually care about getting it right or at least halfway decent. I am beyond disappointed. This is a perfect example of a company forcing their customers to use a half decent product. This is the only way you can upload to SoundCloud on mobile, even though adding upload support on the SoundCloud app would be incredibly easy.

Download and delete for best results. Had a lot of trouble with this app. The only way I can get it to facilitate imports/exports is to download it, sign in, and delete the app. If I keep the app on my device, exporting from one app to another tells me to open AudioCopy, but the samples will not paste to any app, including AudioCopy. However, once AudioCopy is deleted it seems I can export from the app and open the receiving app and import as a clipboard item. It seems crazy, but this app works best if you don't have it, but you may still need to download it and sign in to connect import/exports.

Why do my music skips ?. Whats the point of recording yours music if u cAn record the whole song with it skips the songs soundcloud was perfect before they change to this please go back so i can record my songs ! I cAn record if it dont record my whole song ! Ugh just disappoint in this i NEED IT FOR MY MUSIC !

Crash. It crashes when I want to open a sound in GarageBand

Sound packs not working. I’ve purchased 2 sound packs and upon purchase I keep receiving an unpacking error. I can’t use them and don’t know what to do. I’m on an iPad Pro.

Love the App,but crashing on new update. When the app is working it is great. It's compatible with most of my Ableton LINK apps and has good packs and Interapp use. The current update is crashing on my iPhone 6 and iPad mini,please fix so I can use it again. It started after I bought a pack and it crashed an hadn't started working since

One of ios's largest sources of loops and samples. And it's also a great file transfer bridge to the rest of the app collection. Having seen the developer response to my last review I'm now confident I'll be able transfer my many in app sound pack purchases to my computer through iTunes and so, I'm giving this app the stars it deserves.

New level of bad. Question: What kind of second rate, hack of a developer has to “promise” their customers they will actually fix the bugs they say they will? Answer: Retronyms Zero stars if I could. Par for their Retronyms course. This app crashes nonstop and it takes them waaaayyy to long to put out a fix. Retronyms are money grubbing developers who don’t care about the music at all. WORST APP EVER!!!

Hmm. I HAVE to be doing something wrong. There is no way that my clipboard worked as advertised BEFORE I got this app and suddenly stopped working entirely afterward. There simply is no way. All I wanted was to have a place to quickly drop a lot of samples. So... I don't know, when I downloaded the app, thinking the clipboard would now hold multiple copies, I weirdly got a screen that said "My Recordings" with nothing on it, and there was no way to bypass it. I deleted the app and it started working again. I guess my advice to any potential buyer is... either be smarter than me at this, or just don't get this app and use the functionality already built in.

Bizarre..... So Looperverse wants you to use Audiocopy for whatever reason. So I downloaded Audiocopy then proceeded to spend $8.00 on a blues bundle. There are some cool loops in it but almost worthless. If you use Looperverse to change tempo and root key (via Looperverse "scene" settings), all is fine until you "audiocopy" the loop back into Audiocopy....which you have no choice but to do. Why Looperverse doesn't have just a plain old copy function is beyond me. But once you audiocopy, give it a new name, then open it in Audiocopy to use in Garageband or whatever, the loop has mysteriosly returned to its original key as downloaded. You can even play the Looperverse version and then the Audiocopy version and obviously tell they're in two different keys. It's also mighty odd that neither app has an in-app support link.

Impc2. audio copy and impc 2 do not coexist well with each other

Please address these issues (update). On top of all of previous problems, more have occurred. Sorry to say that I am no longer a user of this app. This app has gotten rid of all of my recordings with no chance of connecting with the developer to help. If I could give a negative amount of stars I would. First problem I have is that none of my recordings are shared to my iPad which also has this app. I am logged in to the same account on both my iPhone and iPad. My biggest problem is that every time I try to upload a recording, the process times out and I have to restart the process (which fails every time). I've deleted the app and reinstalled but I am left with no solution. Please please please address these as I upload to soundcloud often. this could be very efficient and productive if the time was taken to take care of basic functions.

Awesome utility app!. AudioCopy is an awesome utility app, one that is very versatile being able to copy and paste audio between a lot of supported apps. Lately I've been using this to create loops and transfer them to Hook, I will also use this is TableTop, and numerous other apps. I also love the ability to get news updates from the app about Retronyms, and the in app kits/loops are awesome as well. I haven't messed around with the mic but i plan on it in the future. There is a slight bug where the app will crash, which is why I gave it 4 stars, but most of the time, it crashes while trying to paste music into other apps, which it ends up doing and closing the app anyway (so it hasn't really negatively affected me LOL) Seriously I utilize this app the most out of all the music utility apps when making beats on iOS.

Horrible app. IMPC made me download this supposedly I was suppose to get a free pack with the download but that was false advertising to manipulate users to get them extra downloads

Doesn’t work anymore.. It doesn’t work with Mobile Vocaloid editor or Korg Gadget anymore.

Needs fixing. I use this a lot and it has good features that most other apps don't have and this makes it simpler to edit than on anything else I've ever used. But they update it constantly saying crash fixes but the crash is never fixed. The problem used to be people would open the app and it would crash now they fixed that but it crashes when you hit the edit button next time it'll be when you hit another button it's honestly really annoying you think they'd have it down by now.

Just one thing.... First off, as a guy that doesn't have internet on his studio computer, this app is the best way to upload to soundcloud! I would like the option to disable downloading of the content I post to soundcloud. The goes for all of the retronyms cloudseeder enabled apps. I would rather people just stream my stuff.. For copyright reasons. Please fix

Lag. This app would be so much better if the audio cut/lag wasn't in there. I would try and read lyrics in my notes and it would cut out important parts all the time half way through. The app needs more stability when puting the app on hold while recording. That way people can read lyrics if they are in there notes on an iPhone like me

Helpful!. This app is so helpful for beginning artists who may not be able to get in the studio right away and need to hear their creations. I write a song then record it using the Audio Copy app to hear what I've created so far. It's crashed on me, but I just redownloaded it and it was back working!

Complete and utter garbage. This app is woefully pathetic and inadequately equipped to serve as a conduit for in-app purchases. If you make an in-app purchase, there is a distinct possibility you will never get it. It shows that it is trying to download and sits like that for an eternity. If you try the steps in the Apple knowledgebase article about resolving in-app purchase issues, there is a very good chance things will go from bad to worse. In following these steps, I removed and then reinstalled AudioCopy, only to find that there is no 'Restore Purchases' functionality. And, if you tap on the buy button for the soundpack,It doesn't offer to restore it for free, it actually tries to make you buy it again. Their support is utterly unresponsive and useless. Avoid anything from Retronyms until they get their act together.

Perfect for my needs. All I wanted to do was trim a wav file. This worked perfectly once I got the instructions. Support response was very quick. Here’s how. To trim with AudioCopy, you can do the following steps. 1. Select the file and tap "edit" (like you described in your email). 2. Tap the waveform of the file to bring up the selection tool. 3. Drag the Start ("S") and End ("E") handles of the selection to highlight the segment you want to keep. 4. Tap the blue selected area. The start and end handles should go away, and an edit menu ("Cut", "Copy", "Duplicate") will pop up. 5. Use the white triangle on the right side of the edit menu to see some more options ("Delete", "Discard Ends"). 6. Choose "Discard Ends". This should trim the file. Worked like a charm and then I could email it to my pc. Would have paid you guys ! Thanks!

Crashes any time I click on browse. I’ve tried re downloading it and registering. All it does is crash...

Really?. So I finally get my iPad Air to work perfectly with my LG HSB 800 headset. Sounds great. Start using Korg Gadget. Still sounds great. I attempt to either export or import sounds to and from Audio Paste... I lose Bluetooth. Really? The major benefit of having a great sounding Bluetooth headset is that I don't have to be tethered to my iPad. But why, would an app who's name actually sports the word "Audio", continually have an audio issue? You guys really gotta do better. I work mobile quite often, so having things work without wires is paramount. As of right now, this app is hindering my workflow process. Thanks.

Yet another botch from Retronyms.. Wow. I thought I was losing my mind; could AC 2.0 actually get worse than it was? Unfortunately for the devs (but fortunately for me) it's true - not only does it not do what I need it to, now it just straight up crashes. Have come to the point where I won't even bother if this app has to be invoked... Just pipe it out in Audiobus and move on. Looking at this company's track record - like the iMPC Fly debacle ("MIDI? Who wants that anyway?"), or their Wej Kickstarter campaign for hardware nobody wants (so they just extend the deadline until enough rubes sign on? What?!) makes me wonder where the heck these guys get their funding from. A fancy loft workspace in San Francisco ain't cheap, but I have yet to see anything these guys put out that's not hamstrung in some way. How do they do it? Doesn't matter. I don't care anymore. Retronyms' name on a product is enough to make me turn 180* and run away as fast as possible. I just wish they'd stop sullying iOS music production at this point and go into another line of work entirely. _____________________ ORIGINAL REVIEW- I would love to be able to copy files with metadata into my projects: however either the apps don't support 2.0 implementation (Audioshare > Nanostudio, for instance) or if they say they do, the files rarely show up in the destination app. Won't keep it much longer at this rate if I can just sample directly via Audiobus to Loopy.

Bloated software, tries to do too much.. It's called AudioCopy. If you're going to incorporate that function as a brand name it should do it well. But it doesn't. And, I don't understand the need to cram every functionality that other apps are well capable of doing. I have less important things to do than to watch your blue splash screen—it's a workflow killer! This bloatware is too cumbersome for the iOS devices that need to conserve as many system resources as possible. iOS musicians need a capable clipboard, not another app to manage. Deleted! Luckily, I used to think that this app was required to copy and paste from one music production app to another. Fortunately, it's only necessary if you want all the extra features nobody wants. After deleting the app, I can still copy and paste audio, albeit only one sound at a time, but I never really never needed multiple clipboards in the first place.

apparently my voice sounds like a robot now. This app used to work so well, and now every time I try to record something, I sound like a robot. Never used to have this problem. I keep checking to see if there’s an update to fix this glitch, and there’s nothing. It’s really frustrating, and it’s making me want to find an alternative to recording and sharing music to soundcloud.

SMH. So I downloaded this to play around with splice loops. However, it doesn’t work. It just keeps saying that it’s unable to import.

Invaluable. I do music full time either studio work in the day, or live sound at night, and I have quite a few music related apps on my phone. Audiocopy is the one that gets used the most. Either to transfer samples into impc/imaschine and as a quick sampler/editor. Only reason I haven't given it five stars is it crashes in the content store quite a bit. Otherwise stable. Great app and makes sharing between other tools much easier!

Funny Sound Again. i gave five stars cos i don’t wanna be a burden but remember how we use to have the weird clicky audio we used to get. i had that for a long time but for some reason i still used your app hah. i have a lot of audio with that sound in them! well now there’s a new sound. it sounds like in imovie when you use the robotic audio filter over the regular audio. sounds kinda cool honestly and i’m glad i recorded what i did with it but i definitely don’t want it to stick around. thanks in advance!

Only As Needed. AudioCopy doesn't get a higher rating from me as I prefer the functionality of Audioshare and use AudioCopy only as needed. The AudioCopy content store is fairly small and the app has scrolling ads on the bottom which are quite small on both the iPad and iPhone but might explain the battery drain some people have complained about as the scrolling text is updated via the web. To be fair, I don't think you could make them any smaller unless you removed them completely. You can upload to SoundCloud and it has open in so you can transfer sounds between apps. It might be undesirable to have several copies of audio files in different apps but you could certainly pick a primary one and transfer files to other apps depending upon what their audio file import/export support features are like. This is another example of Retronyms not supporting Audiobus users as it doesn't have any Audiobus functionality even though it'd make sense to use it in the input and output slots.

Good but... I've read some negative comments saying this app doesn't work or poor audio, but it works perfect with me, no stuttering, no poor audio, it's really good, I use launchpad, music studio, fl studio, alchemy, and tabletop, and being able to record a part of my song on one app, coping it and moving it to another app to record more into the song or use effects like reverb, the only thing i really wish they'd do is add DJ Mixer 2 to thier compatible apps, because dj mixer 2 has some features that I would use to finish my song, and I cand upload to soundcloud from dj mixer 2, I could upload to soundcloud from audio copy, then download my song from soundcloud to dj mixer 2 but it would just be a lot easier if audio copy would support dj mixer 2, hopefully they'll support it in the future, but overall great app, works perfect.

Musical content fail?. Hey, currently I’m using the 12.9 inch iPad Pro 2nd gen. 256 Gb version. I don’t have any negative comments about the functionality of audio copies copy and paste functionality as the latest version has been reliable for me. That being said I do feel robbed as I had purchased the “Araab muzic” pack from akai and loopmasters “hip hop instrumental vol.2” but though it shows up that I own the sound packs it doesn’t actually have any content on my device and doesn’t allow me to download it or load them on yo pad banks. I’ve tried everything from rebooting my iPad, deleting and redownloading the app, and even restoring my purchases. I’ll change my review when this is fixed but until then... to me this app is just simply unreliable And I’m going to use audioshare for the time being.

awesome app!. i’m a composer that uses a dozen apps, and AC integrates well with virtually all of them. Even better, their customer service is very responsive, and will take your problems they can’t solve to the developers for future updates. The Sounds and Loops they offer in the store, tho a bit “pricier” than other apps, are full and hot and are unique, with a plethora of genres, and are welcome additions to my extensive loop library.

A Must Have App!. AC became infinitely more useful with bulk copying of samples into iMPC. It's also quite stable and works well as a repository for my own personal samples. If there was one improvement, I only wish it were a little easier to copy samples to some apps. It's a bit of a workflow killer to have to transfer samples to AudioShare in order to get them into other apps.

Actually confusing. So I downloaded it only because now apparently soundcloud requires it (I'm on the iPod touch most recent model) and I got excited because it let me edit to clip that last bit where you have to touch the iPod and after I edited it and went to go upload it, I can't even listen to the recordings on the app!! I looked in support and find no answers, I'm old school and not very savvy so it's probably that I'm just stupid but for something that appears very simple it isn't. I just want to record and upload but it makes me do a brand new recording! Frustrating and probably deleting this and soundcloud. I'm a musician not a techie.

App not verified through google. Can’t share my content through the piece of crap app. Just a waist of space

So far not that impressed.... I decided to use this only because Soundcloud eliminated their record button (darn you Soundcloud). I used Soundcloud for students to record clips from their mobile devices and upload to our blog. Now we have to take the extra step of using AudioCopy to record the clip, then upload to our Soundcloud account, then load to blog. Kind of clunky and I will try to find a different workaround for future use. When I use AudioCopy and try to delete clips from my mobile device, the app closes and the clip does not delete. The whole thing is just more trouble than it is worth and will be try to find a smoother solution.

Transfer Audiocopy Files to MacBook Air Catalina. I can’t seem to transfer my audiocopy files from my iPad to my MacBook Air... it won’t drag and drop. Any help?
