IAA completely broken! Do not buy!. I agree with the other negative reviewer. I feel like a beta tester too and paying too much for broken software. I tried IAA and it appears to be seriously broken and unreliable with every app I tested on iOS10. I cannot recommend this app if you are planning on using it with IAA.

Almost. Good useful features for looping, editing and mixing. However, the loop trimming tools are so clumsy it is rendered almost unusable. Maybe my particular thumbs, but the guide easily slips and reverts to the entire loop length, with no possibility to undo. Currently slightly bummed about my $7

mr.. LOOPERVERSE is without a doubt the best looping tool I've ever seen. And that includes not only any app. or software design, but also any hardware device ever made. I cannot think of any facet of control or manipulation that has been left out or overlooked. And all done in a simple and user friendly interface. You will be amazed by the power and flexibility of Looperverse. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Nothing but distorted audio on IPad 2. Terrible distorted sound. No matter what the setting. Really tired of dumping money on apps that don't work.

Please help!!!. When you try to save a scene name, the save button button is hidden by the keyboard!! I have reinstalled and tried everything! Because of this , i can only save the first scene name. I will change to 5 stars if you respond with a fix. Thank you

IAA and Ableton link are extremely janky. Figure, Addictive Pro, and Elastic Drums do not seem to work via IAA, due to various bugs. Figure speeds up to about 10000 BPM, addictive pro repeats one key press over and over, and ElasticDrums won't start playing. Seems great if you've already got loops or are going to do live recording, kinda janky for IAA and recording from other apps. Tested on iPad mini 2 and the new iPad (5th gen).

Infinity and beyond. Really nice intuitive multitrack looper. Feature rich and well laid out rock solid stable. Amazing functionality for the price. Using interapp audio makes this a powerful tool for endless creative inspiration without dongles! This thing is a time machine that will transport you into the future. Hours seem like minuets. Be prepared to get lost in the land of loops.

Way better than hardware loopers. I've been considering getting a new looping device for a while now. Owned a Repeater back in the day which was a great box but with obvious limitations and very grainy sound. Have been exploring the options and was lucky enough to get turned onto Looperverse before I got anything else. If you're a loop freak this is a dream come true. The interface alone is miles beyond any hardware box - very responsive, everything is right there in front of you beautifully laid out. Sounds great, feels solid. In features and quality it doesn't get much better than this.

Best looper app in years!. What other app lets you mix loops and transpose and play them live from on screen keys live? Still need to dive in more but it's genius. Quick and easy. Love it

Freezes when pressing reverse. Bugs need squashing.

TERRIBLE. I already paid ten whole dollars for this... I thought I was paying for the loops. So unless your willing to spend 15+ dollars for this app, I suggest you DONT BUY IT

IPhone 6 ok but not for older ipads/iphones. A bit of a learning curve but this is a fairly nice IOS looper. After fooling with some of the settings, I'm still unsure what they do. Combined with other audiobus apps, you can make some creative songs. Don't waste your time on an older IOS device, it just doesn't work because of lags and crashes. Totally unusable on my iPad mini.

Yo! Honest Review from Musician. Hi there! If you’re looking for a looper app to actually compose or make interesting music... this is not the app for you. It is good enough to play around with for a couple of days. The time signatures beyond 4/4 and 8/8 don’t even work. The « split » and « copy » functions could be significantly better. Invest in a better app.

Fastest way to get tracks down...... Such a great tool to be creative with. It’s ease and work flow are unparalleled in it’s intuitiveness and efficiency. Top notch.

Buggy. Lots of potential but hampered by bugs and no support. Doesn’t work with 2018 iPad Pro. Monitoring of Audiobus record sources is mono even if the incoming signal is stereo.

So many $. I downloaded another loop recorder (with less recording options) and it was free, and I don’t understand why this one cost so much, but I downloaded it anyways because I just so happen to have a gift card next to me and it is pretty good. It’s a lot like that Free loop recorder app I was talking about, so I don’t know why it cost so much.

Great looper, needs a touch more. This is outstanding so far- Really needs synced transport controls though If it's linked by Ableton Link, recording should start on bar no? At least as an option. Am I missing something? I do get a loud buzz upon stopping recording, Slightly annoying. Also please add Ableton export T

Rock Solid. Best looper in the app store. Feels like hardware: no dropouts, no clicks and pops. ...but its better than hardware because of all the slick multitouch editing, time-stretching, audiobus and link compatibility. This is the real deal.

Next level. Slight learning curve but Awesome looper, maybe best in App Store with its added features. Next level ideas in what's incorporated in the app. I don't think my full fledge daws can do this without a plugin or two, especially when comes to stretching audio. The audio paste feature is super easy. Plus it's portable. Has some bugs I'm sure the dev will work out in updates. Having trouble with some inter apps.

Bug Fixes With Inter-App Audio. Looperverse seems like a great app, but seriously needs to fix the distorted audio bug, when using other third-party apps to record audio. You also can't hear the recorded audio from Inter-Audio apps. Please fix.

App crashes. I have tried adding a track from Audio Copy 8 times and it says “pasting” then just crashes. Not worth the money when I can have a free app do that...

What other loopers aspire to.. There isn't a finer looper available in hardware or software anywhere! Ease-of-use and fidelity are unparalleled.

When will the pedals be available for purchase again??. This seems to be a great app, but it seems like this developer is having a hard time making the pedals available for purchase again. I’ll reevaluate this review once I have the pedal. For now, it’s just lame that they don’t seem to care.

Review update. My first review of this app from 4 years ago still appears here, which was very favorable for this app. But after mostly using Garageband for the majority of my iOS music productions since that review, I recently decided to try the app again. To cut to the chase, the app is fun to use in some ways but a pain to use in others. As one who doesn't want to get caught up in the money pit of buying Retronym's various music packs, I choose to import loops from my phone's files to use in Looperverse. It is doable but is not at all convenient, in that I have to convert the files via Audioshare to be useable in the app, which is a process with several steps. But, if you just want a simple looper to record song ideas without any EQ support (not even simple treble, bass, etc), this is a fun app in that you when you hit record, it will record a track then automatically record the next track once you reach the end of the preset loop length. I don't know of other looping apps that do that so that's a positive feature and kind of addictive. I would, however, love to see this app redesigned to play well with external apps and effects as well as being able to easily import loops from my device, as previously mentioned. The interface could definitely use a redesign because it's so easy to hit the wrong button when simply trying to scroll out the volume panel on the left side. There's a lot of potential here to have a superb looping app but it will definitely need changes to get there.

Am I beta testing this?. IAA NOT WORKING... for me at least, on two diff. iPads (mini 2 and air 2)... iOS 10.... all other apps are fine... am I beta testing this?

This is not a real looper. This is a multitrack recorder just like any other. Sure you can loop your recordings just like any other multi track. Definition of a looper is where each recording is an independent loop and keeps playing and looping regardless of what else is playing. This app is linear and no clips loop, they play from start to end and only repeat at the end of the time line just like a regular multitrack recorder

Very bad crackling. Terrible crackling sound on playback...it’s not only on playback but also when I use the in-app piano, whenever I hit a key there is terrible crackling. Also, tried archiving a scene and when I tried to name it the keyboard would not go away no matter how many times I hit return or touch the screen outside of the keyboard. I paid money for this?

Awesome app. Powerful looping app, besides just audio looping there are a lot of options such as adding inter app audio from other apps, etc. leads me to making music I don’t normally make with other combos!

Uhg. Would be awesome if the screen didn't turn off and go black every five seconds...

Form & Function LAW(Loop Audio Workstation). Non gimmick Loop specific platform for composers and producers of music on iOS. Multiple upgrades already expected next week with additional features! This is a must buy for anyone who is serious about electronic music and creating music of the iOS format. Great company and subsequent product.

Don’t buy Any Retronyms apps except for Tabletop that’s their best. Looperverse is glitchy and it crashes constantly, making you loose quality time it’s literally the most unproductive and buggy recording interface, I wish I could get my $ back for it and also for iMPC, iMPC, iMPC pro2, the AudioCopy tool also made by them is garbage and is the sole component in the glitches and constant crashes, all their “D.A.W stations use AudioCopy for fetching sample packs you buy separately. Rendering your hard earned money you spent on their products straight to the garbage. And 100% their profit! Has anyone got a full refund?

Is time limited to record?. Whenever I record on my phone it records and then stops whenever it reaches the end of my screen

Almost perfect!. Great app, easy to use. Would be five star but it desperately needs an update to fit the IPhone X and XS screen sizes. Please update, and if devs see this, let me know if you plan to update for this.

The lesser evil. Having struggled with many demons in the iOS pantheon (GarageBand, loopyhd, ThumbJam) I can attest that looperverse actually does what it says on the tin. IAA actually works, after a fashion, and it’s not insanely crippled like other apps. However, it has a ‘mute on record button’ which is activated by default. Stupid. But just to add more confusion - using IAA will turn it off...... but Audiobus won’t. Yeah. As I said: stupid. It also has misc glitches that will embarrass you onstage but like I said this is as good as iOS audio gets in my experience. Now if only the dev would respond to bug reports as quickly as they do sales enquiries. Kind of let’s you know where their priorities lie.

Why. Why does Retronyms refuse to update their apps? It's sad. I was always supportive but it's too much. It's not that they can't develop good apps. They have the expertise, but just don't take advantage. It's a mystery. I won't buy any of their apps again. I feel stupid for having given good reviews.
