You can also use the Whova conference app to digitize and manage business cards you receive at events. Fantastic tool!. This is a really great tool for people who are attending a conference. Essentially, it’s a social media platform with all sorts of features that allow attendees to connect with each other, and organize their own participation. I began using it, because it seemed to be required by the organizer, but I learned that it was super helpful for my participation, and allowed me to make good use of my time and connect with other people. As with any social media, it’s only as productive as the depth of participation of everyone involved. At this most recent conference, I believe that the majority of people were engaged with Whova, which made it all the more useful. Highly recommended!

Love this app. Wish I had it years ago. I recently attended Maine Fungi Fest and had the pleasure of using Who a for the first time. Immediately I saw this app would have been extremely helpful when I was working in a corporate setting and had to go to week long seminars and bring information back to the company. This would have been amazingly helpful organizing the short time at these events. It controls any contact between attendees, built in system to arrange meet-ups, ways to coordinate not only your team but coordinate how your team meets up with other teams and individuals. I love this app and would and have recommended it to everyone when the subject comes up. I have a degree in computer science and some coving and I am impressed how they designers seemed to have hit almost every point.

Whova review. I used the Whova app for the first time last week at a large convention setting. I have attended venues like this for years and over the last 5 years or so, some for of app design has been part of the experience. I have never had much success using prior apps… they were confusing, not helpful and I generally lost interest in using them. The Whova app was a totally new experience. It seemed seamless in its presentation, very friendly and easy to attain information that I needed. It kept track of events, introduced speakers and slides used. The app kept me in touch with the conference staff/ problem -solvers if any questions came up. Responses were in text form and open to all users and very helpful to gauge what I may have been missing. Can’t say enough to the great value it brought me as a user!

My first virtual conference with a five star experience!!. GoalMakers2021 was my first virtual conference to attend. Most part of the conference along with its activities could be accomplished through whova mobile apps. I think team whova did an excellent job. I gave it 10 out of 10 even though I was little disappointed that they didn’t allow simultaneous use of two devices by an attendee. I would have preferred to use the laptop for the panel discussion and the mobile phone for networking. But after all the two days conference ended with no major hassles or interruptions. Two of our board members assigned for our Exhibit booth could not sign in for some technical reasons.

Great Communication Tool!. I was pleasantly surprised using this app! Not only did it provide the conference sessions and map, it also allowed me to build and save my own schedule with opportunities to add my own or small team event. I loved that the app allowed me to reach out to others to build my network and also communicate with cohorts and teammates. I didn’t have everyone’s cell on my team, but the app still allowed me to message them and search for others I didn’t already know were attending. Every time I opened the app I found a new useful feature! It was very helpful and useful, and a great collaboration and networking tool!

Fantastic platform with multiple features. This is my first time to use Whova, and it was for NCL leadership conference. For my job I use several different online platforms (Teams, Zoom, etc), and Whova exceeded my expectations. Good for NCL for selecting this platform. Good for Whova for understanding the needs of its customers and providing a versatile and easy to use platform, both in the app and desktop. I joined large sessions 1500+ attendees with keynote speakers and also small 20-30 breakout sessions. I liked the agenda and attention to details for individual sessions. Everything worked well. Meeting in person has its benefits, but I recommend this platform for any virtual event.

Great networking tool. I just used Whova for a professional in-person conference for the first time. I was very impressed with the app and thought it really facilitated greater engagement before, during and after the conference. As a speaker , I was able to upload information about my session way in advance to build interest and ask a question for the group to ponder beforehand. I was also able to create a poll that went to the entire attendee list and then share the results live in my session. Because I knew who and how many would attend my session, I could tailor my presentation to the expected group and then follow up with individuals afterwards. It was also easy to reach out to people I was hoping to connect with during and and after the conference. Great addition to any event!

WFWA Conference. I am not tech savvy. Not at all. This app was so user-friendly and definitely enhanced my overall conference experience. Not only could I pull the agenda up at a moment’s notice (which I did regularly over the course of 4 days) but the level of detail about the workshops, presenters, schedule, etc., was very impressive. One bonus was being able to scroll through a list of other attendees, read their bios, and connect with others with common interests and/or backgrounds. I can honestly say that many of the discussions I engaged in centered around how great the Whova app was. Kudos to your team and thanks for providing us with such a useful and easy to use tool!

Highly recommend. I used WHOVA both on a computer and on my phone to follow the Statistics in Pharmaceuticals conference (SIP2021). I can say I liked the experience. I were able to see the agenda and select the part that interested me to put reminders on my own calendars. Whova allows presenters to add the materials for the participants, and it’s a good way for participants to network since they can see each other’s profile and interact. One particular is that we were asked to list our interest, and based on them we could see which participants shared the same. That’s an excellent way to filter out the hundreds of participants in a conference. I will definitely recommend WHOVA for future activities.

Great UI/UX. I recently downloaded Whova for a virtual research conference, and I’m very impressed with both the app and website performance. Both platforms really facilitated organic interaction between attendees. The Exhibitor Hub was especially useful and gives options for promoting yourself/your company, showcasing offerings, and collect leads. My favorite part of the app was that it automatically grouped attendees by keyword interests and organizations, and you could browse through all of the groups to find mutual interests. I’m not sure if this is already a feature on the app, but on the desktop version, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could browse the conference website while I was attending a Zoom session (great integration with Zoom, btw) and a popout of the video would appear alongside the rest of the content. Would be good to have that for mobile as well.

One Stop App. I want to begin by saying that I am not a fan of apps because they take up so much space on my phone. When I heard about the jumpstart conference, I wasn’t even sure if I would go, but being that I am a first time home school in Mom, I decided it was my best bet. When they offered the app, I am mediately ignored it. I decided to download it because the agenda was on the app. As much as I hate notifications, I thought it would be a great idea to allow them to come through in order to be informed. I was blown away by what the app could do. Presenters started posting, attendees started connecting with one another, and within a matter of days, it was a full-blown party! The app was so useful and resourceful. It also helped everyone get pumped for the conference. I know that sounds funny when I’m talking about a home schooling conference, but it was awesome! It posted updates in real time, including the day of the conference. For example, if a room or session changed, they updated it on the app. I love that the presenters were able to upload their PowerPoint presentations, documents, on the app (for access to everyone), etc. It truly was a one stop shop :-) I will definitely recommend this to my friends!

Whova is the right choice for your awesome event!. Whova, a virtual platform, made my learning experience exciting! Finding topics, for our event, was easy and efficient. Using the Follow tab helped me to keep up with Topics that interested me the most. Finding valuable resources was just one click away! The search feature saved time when looking for a topic, small group, or an individual within a small group. When networking , I was able to bookmark a participant so that I could find them quickly and message /video chat with them worldwide! Though I tend not to interact with Organizers / Program Facilitators / Program Presenters, I did so on Whova because they seemed “close enough” to be reached. The Organizers/Facilitators/ Presenters interacted with participants real time and if participants reached out to them afterwards, we were notified that a response was given. I did not have to consider technology troubles because there were none. For that reason , I was able to fully grasp all that was available to me during the event! Whova is the right choice for an awesome event!

Perfect for multiple day events. It's like have the Disney World app for the convention center! Everything you need to know, how to contact and network with other attendees, and most importantly, a calendar of events. It's hard enough for me to keep the days apart, much less the individual sessions so the reminders with custom alerts was very helpful. An added benefit would be the fact that the organizers can actually reach out to all attendees instantly, which came in handy when someone lost their keys at the convention center. Great app! Thanks for making three days of chaos run just a little smoother.

Exceptional interface for online interaction. Combining live zoom presentations with multiple virtual exhibitors, conference attendee chat functions and more...I can’t imagine a conference, class or event this app would not be a great supplement to. Even when we can go back to meeting in person, it is valuable to connect with attendees, be able to go back and watch speakers your schedule wouldn’t allow at the time of the live event, etc. I was an attendee and felt it was seamless. I will have to read reviews of those who had to use it to create the virtual event but can’t imagine it want also intuitive for organizers. I bet my daughter wishes her professors would use this!!!

Love the App but not the networking feature. I really love apps like this during a conference. It can help you connect with others and keep your schedule. I am giving this app 3 stars for ONE reason and ONE reason only - I CAN’T easily create groups or networking events. I can easily “favorite” someone, but I can’t send a blast invite or text thread. This can easily be improved. If there are 500 attendees, I should not have to look them up one-by-one. So instead, I sent an email. I would have rather used the app. Also, if we want to add a networking event to our schedule - selecting participants/invitees is too difficult. Why is there a favorite feature if you can’t do anything with it… if I am overlooking it… i dunnoh

It needs to work out some kinks. On the whole, I’m glad to use the app for an event I’m attending. But Whova does some faulty things. For example, the event I’m going to is something people will drive from their home to, but Whova sets it up a “carpool from the airport”. So you have to say your airport and flight and then explain later that you’re not coming from any airport. Worse, when you post there, Whova makes a statement “Hi guys, I want to join the carpool!” which is obnoxious and confusing, since they make it appear like you said that but you didn’t- you wouldn’t- in the context of rideshare it doesn’t make sense- there’s no carpool yet. Are you driving? Do you need a ride? That’s relevant information. But Whova makes you look like some idiot who is trying to join a nonexistent carpool.

Whova. I’ve used Whova two years in a row now for an annual conference, and it’s been incredibly fun. The thing I like most is how it drastically improves the overall experience of the conference. Historically, attending conferences would require a significant amount of schedule planning to make sure events, workshops, panels, meetings, and lectures wouldn’t be missed. In addition, meeting all the people you were hoping to meet was extremely difficult. With Whova, the scheduling is vastly simplified and easy to access through the app, plus all the attendees are listed, and you can link up at any time to anyone you like within the app. My favorite part of the app is the Leaderboard, which I targeted as my personal challenge, and in fact dominated the #1 position throughout the conference, with over 90,000 points! There us a section where you can post Questions for any session, and the speakers can interact directly with you or adapt their session to address the question. Perfect! I don’t know that I would want to attend a conference in the future if it wasn’t using the Whova app.

Whova App Review. The WHOVA app was utilized for a conference I recently attended in ATL. It was AWESOME!! I was able to see the overall agenda, create my own agenda, meet up with others, see the menus throughout the conference, receive updates from the organizers of any changes in presentations, meeting rooms, etc., check out the attending vendors and speakers, connect with other attendees and view pictures taken throughout the event. In short, it made this conference unlike any other conference I’ve attended. Very user friendly! Another PLUS, we will have assess via the App for a period of time after the conference to watch the recorded sessions and continue to connect with our fellow attendees, giving us an opportunity to continue to grow relationships. I highly recommend this App.

Suwannee Banjo Camp experience. This was the first year for Banjo Camp to go online. Of course, it was due to COVID. They used Whova and my experience as an attendee was OUTSTANDING! I liked it almost as much as attending the camp and, in some ways, it was a better experience. For example, I am from Massachusetts and I would not have traveled to attend this great camp in Florida. Also several of the sessions were recorded making it possible to see sessions that were scheduled at the same time. Plus I could review the same session several times. In addition, all documents were available several days before the class so I could review them ahead of time. Those are just a few of the reasons why I loved the online experience. I even suggested that next year, when COVID is hopefully over, the camp should adapt a hybrid model where some attendees are in person and, at the same time, others view the class online. I think it could be a good model for all music camps (and other types of camps) and it would enable many students to attend far away camps without the time and expense of travel. It would also increase the overall camp attendance. BRAVO Whoa!!

When you can’t hug. I was introduced to the Whova app for our UCC national church conference of some 150 plus participants resorting to a virtual meeting due to COVID. I’m age 73 and an avid Facebook user, texter, and email user. I’ve used Zoom some. I was very comfortable with the Whova app in reviewing my agenda and signing up for various breakouts. I was impressed how well we were able to break out for small group discussions, the warning message as time limit was approaching and the rejoining the large group. I could see participants. I use a Mac which does not always adapt to various app, but had no problems. Our conference ran four days with minimal issues. A highlight of our conferences is the meeting of folks from all over the nation and hugging. We could not physically hug but the app readily allowed me to search out to folks, meet new folks, send messages, and more. In these crazy times and when travel is not an option....Whova is an outstanding option.

Very impressive and user-friendly experience!. I used the Whova app for a recent conference was blown away by how closely it matched the best features of an in-person experience. Prior to the event I was able to connect via personal message with like-minded people and start good conversations. As a speaker, I appreciated the feature that allowed attendees to post questions to my session prior to the day of the conference, which helped me adapt my talk to be relevant to my audience’s interests. (This feature isn’t usually available at an in-person event!). The integration with Zoom was smooth and user-friendly. I would highly recommend Whova to conference organizers and participants.

Great app. This app kept me up to date with all the sessions at my conference. I could bookmark sessions I planned to attend & the app offered optional reminders for those upcoming sessions. Each session had a page explaining the who/what/where/why of event & included a bio of the presenter. Whova also provided a platform for attendees to reach out to presenters & fellow attendees to connect, share ideas, ask questions, or just plan for group meet ups. One of the most helpful features was the video page where recorded session videos allowed those of us who missed a session to watch it after the fact. I definitely recommend this app for any conference you might attend.

Planning and. I have to say that I truly enjoyed the features provided through this app. One of the most important features that really helped me stay organized and plan for the event was the fact that it gave all of the sessions and once you decided which one you were interested in, you could add it to an agenda and then when you’re done, you can see the agenda for the entire event and you can see the agenda from the selections you made. On the day of the event, I didn’t have to open up the hard copy of the agenda. It was already loaded in my phone. I knew exactly where to go. I knew what was going to be discussed which helps alleviate the stress of trying to figure out where to go next, and increase my time with collaborating with my colleagues. Another feature that I enjoyed was the reminder so I knew that 10 minutes before my next session. I would get an alert on my phone to let me know it was time to head to my next session, that was very helpful for me. Lastly, the listing of other participants allowed me to see what professional educators I was in the mist of throughout the conference, and that helped me make informed decisions about which sessions to go to, to meet the needs of the education institution that I support. All events should have this app for their participants, so that participants can maximize the time spent during the event/conference. It like a personal assistant at the conference!

Great app! Just one single suggestion. The app was fantastic, easy to use, and fun! The feature for adding points and incentivizing competition is a brilliant detail. Unlike other apps, I made several hundred connections and began friendships with many of the attendees. The option to post pictures and create your own meet-ups as well as themed rooms was a great way to draw attention and unite like-minded attendees. My only suggestion: it was sometimes cumbersome to find the reply to a post or notification. This was mostly an issue with the “new member section,” where a new member would be welcomed by someone else and I would receive a notification. To find the reply (and remove the notification), I was forced to scroll through all the different members that had joined, meaning I would have to scroll through 30-50 different posts. All in all, excellent app!

Whova Interactive App for Events. I recently attended an event in my local area. The app, Whova, was an amazing tool that offered so many engaging, useful, and informative tools. I was able to register for sessions and refer back to the app for time and locations. I was able to make suggestions and chat with other participants in real time. Also see any updates or changes made instantly. I would highly recommend this tool for engagement and participation with events or itineraries. It is ideal for participants within a group or if you are attending solo. I found that it was very helpful to stay in contact with persons I met during the first day and meet new people as well. Loads of input and output. I can’t say enough.

Great event platform. I recently attended the first all-online version of the Pacific Seabird Group’s Annual Meeting. It was held on the Whova app, and the features supported on the app were great. Some improvements from the in-person meetings I’ve attended in the past are the ability to access the pre-recorded or live-recorded talks and posters, which you can access again if your notes aren’t perfect. The chat options in the live talks are great, and the speaker can focus on answering questions, rather than the room being held captive while one person has a “more of a comment” moment. The “agenda” interface was great, and the ability to set up a “my agenda” to compare to the whole conference was great. Getting in and out of “rooms” was simple, and I didn’t experience any lag or glitching when they opened. All in all, I hope we use the platform to augment any in-person future meetings, especially since being able to access the other talks means you don’t have to miss anything during concurrent sessions. If we do future online or virtual conferences I think this would be a great app to organize it on.

NASRO Basic SRO class. The class was amazing. Jordan Kelley and Brock Hardy were awesome. They knew what they had to teach not by looking at the power point but by memory. It’s was very enjoyable to take a class that was a week long with instructor that you could tell enjoyed and were passionate about what they were teaching. They explained every bit of the class so not one in the classroom could say they didn’t understand any part of it. I can’t speak for each instructor you have but for the two that taught me last week. They are absolutely great at what they do. If you rated the instructors from 1 to 10 you would have to give these two men a 15. Awesome class was made into perfection with two above average instructors.

Excellent Conference Tool. Whova provides an amazing platform for communication to attendees from conference hosts as well as among attendees themselves. The entire conference agenda is provided on the app, so the total experience including one’s itinerary is close at hand at all times. Any changes or additional instructions can also be communicated immediately. Session presenters can share specific information about their topic as well as post poll questions and accept attendee questions in real time during the session. Session attendees may also vote according to their interest in particular questions so the presenter can judge the level of interest if time is limited. The ability to post photos from the conference or elsewhere is fun, often informative and a simple but effective method for large groups to communicate on a personal level. It’s difficult to appreciate how inconvenient and cumbersome working with paper and/or emails used to be until one experiences the comprehensive ease of the Whova app!

A real online conference. The East Coast Genetic Genealogy Conference was conducted entirely on Whova. All the elements of a real conference were there in the comfort of my living room. Evan a lost and found department (which spawned quite a few wisecracks). The attendees were all accessible plus multiple sessions in each time segment, but we get to watch them all! I can’t give them 5 stars yet because there were some rough spots, but I expect hiccups in a new platform. I enjoyed learning the environment in the week leading up to actual conference. All the poking around earned me points which put me on the “Leader Board”, which created some element of competition, but only 10 of the 350+ attendees were so featured. I see tremendous opportunity for development of an online genealogical community.

Whova app. This app was very helpful for the 2023 Al-Anon International Convention in Albuquerque, NM. It is user friendly and easy to navigate. Two things that were particularly helpful were the map of the Convention Center site and a complete list of the agenda, both of which I printed. The agenda gave complete details of all meetings and workshops including times and locations which I referred to often. The photos submitted by attendees were a nice place to check out who was attending among those who submitted their pictures and info. The ability to receive and send messages to other members provided the opportunity to connect with specific members among the approximately 4000 people at the event.

Very quirky, but works if you work at it. We used this for an annual industry conference this year due to COVID. Many participants experienced audio and visual difficulties. We were able to work through this using the Whova chat function and logging in to the meetings directly on Zoom. Be very careful not to click on any chat “pop ups” that appear on your screen when you are in a session. If you do, you will be removed from your session to view the chat box. When you reenter the session, you will be put into the session “waiting room” and the session facilitator will need to readmit you. I do hope that we can begin to have our conferences in person again soon. This conferencing platform is a great idea, and I’m sure Whova will work through the bugs in their software over time. However, there are so many software bugs and usability issues that an app like this will never be able to take the place of in person learning.

An app that does it’s job well. For a recent conference, I found that Whova does a great job organizing everything you need to know. It’s also super easy to set up your profile which was awesome. The only issue I had, and it’s small, is the little button on the bottom right of the Agenda page. You’re supposed to be able to click it to take you to the currently in-progress sessions on the agenda, but every time I would click it, it would take me to the top of the page (showing me the earliest sessions that day). Not a big deal but there were a lot of sessions at my conference which made it a tad annoying to scroll through. Otherwise, I’d be happy to use Whova again for future conferences.

Whova Support is non existent. Whova tech support does not exist. They implemented an update that wiped out our speakers and vendors uploaded information the day before our conference. They are West coast based. We are East coast. Tech support is only available when they open. With every issue that came up they immediately blame the issue on something we did or were doing. After the first day of our three day event they did a security update that wiped out the compatibility between Whova and Zoom. Our second day is 1/2 over and no resolution to the chat issue. They are very cavalier with their support. When their update wiped out the data for vendors and presenters they suggested we just reload the information less than 8 hours before our conference. I would not recommend Whova to anyone searching for a platform to use for a virtual conference. Terrible, terrible tech support.

WHOVA APP. I really appreciated the app and found it most useful as I am New to the Board of Commissioners and I was a “First Time Conference Attendee.” I did quite a bit of networking thru the app and made some, hopefully, lifetime friends! I did find that a lot of conference attendees did not take advantage of the app and that was a bit puzzling to me but I guess once you’ve been to so many, you may not need as much guidance and already know what to expect? As for me, I found it extremely useful and would definitely use it for the upcoming Colorado Conference which I am looking forward to😉 I thank you and feel that without the app, I would have been lost.🤔 I do appreciate you and thank you for listening!

Spammy, glitchy, and non-existent support.. I really wish my organization wouldn’t insist on using this awful app. Five minutes after registering an account, I was bombarded with porn spam. The app constantly sends me irrelevant push notifications (I don’t need to be notified that an evangelical conference is happening 1,500 miles away) and even though I updated my contact info in the app a year ago, I’ve been unable to get Whova to update the same info on my actual account so I can’t log in to my conference because the organizer has my current info but Whova won’t update the same info on my account. If you’re considering Whova because you think it’ll make your life easier, I can assure you that it will not. Since my organization started using Whova three years ago it has become infinitely more cumbersome and annoying to register for and attend our annual conference.

Needs some small fixes, mostly good. Overall I like the app-I think better than our old one. Things I would like to see improved: 1.It’s tricky to send messages in the app, took me some noodling around to figure out what I needed to do each time. 2.The evals don’t allow for any comments. Several times I wanted to request the PowerPoint from speakers who didn’t upload it-but it’s not possible to say this is a dissatisfier anywhere. 3. Too many notifications. The important ones get lost in the chatter. 4. I liked the session picture you could upload to your social media, but it was available for only one of my presentations.

This app is SO helpful!. Great app and very functional :) I loved all of the service items within. It was my first time using this app for an event and found it extremely helpful!!! By having the app, I can review the agenda, and see the attendee list, which is great for targeting specific leads, and engage in messaging with other conference attendees. It's a great tool for networking at conferences. Our company used Whova to generate leads at the conferences/events. We are also able to start relationship building right away by engaging in texting and conversation groups through the app. As a person with background of Operations / IT project management / Sales, I would say Whova is definitely an impressive platform.

Great app for organizing events. We recently experienced the Whova app when at a company function in Sonoma California. I found the app to be very intuitive and easy to use and navigate. Having our agendas and calendars at our fingertips, everyone’s contact information, uploading photos, and creating new forums was a cinch. Also, I won first place on the leaderboard - which I didn’t even realize was a thing until I received notification about it. We had a fun time trying to outdo each other with our leaderboard points! I highly recommend this app for any type of corporate event.

Introvert Heaven. Whova provided a fun, easy way to interact and network with attendees and organizers throughout the conference. It was helpful to see people’s photos and information prior to meeting in person. One of the prime benefits was being able to see all the sessions in the palm of my hand rather than carrying around a paper agenda! Securing a spot on the leaderboard quickly became my obsession; however, I was disappointed that it went unrecognized by the organizers—what’s even the point of awarding points at that point? I have revisited the app several times after the conference to export presenter slides and continue discussions with other attendees. Overall, it was a great tool to have throughout the conference and allowed the introverted attendees to partake in discussion and networking without stepping up to a microphone or approaching strangers. I hope to see this app utilized in future conferences.

Great for a first time conference goer!. My first time using Whova was also my first time going to a professional development conference. The organization elements of Whova helped me easily browse and set reminders for different panels I wanted to attend. The Community board was great for interacting with other participants, and the Ice Breakers helped me feel more comfortable in this virtual community space. The mobile app and desktop page UIs are similar in a good way! It meant that I could easily navigate both and quickly pick up a conversation I was having on desktop later on the mobile app. My one critique is that the Polls tab never worked on mobile for me. The conference I attended didn’t use that feature much, but it was a slight point of confusion for me when I was watching a panel on mobile and they asked me to fill out a poll.

Whova is Everything in the right place!. As a first time user of Whova, I am impressed with how simple maneuvering around the app is. Attending a virtual conference became interactive in more ways than would be possible in person. Meeting and connecting with people in this virtual world was simple, fast, and allowed for so much information at the tip of my fingers. Each link was exceptionally easy to access. I especially love the space to take notes, and store data. The bonus was being able to participate in chats during presentations as well as access several presentations at once. Virtual conferences on Whova will change the way conferences happen. Whova paved the way for me to see how accessible participating in a conference can be from the luxury of my own space.

Made The Event A Breeze. Initially I was iffy about having to use Whova for the event I was attending, but once I saw how it allowed me to interact not only with the event hosts but also the other attendees, I quickly came to love the app. I was going to this event on my own and didn’t know anyone else that was attending and the Whova app allowed me to chat with and get to know other attendees prior to the event so I actually had some new friends to meet up with and hang out with. The app also allowed me to keep easy track of my schedule for the event (had several classes), allowed for immediate notifications of updates to the event and even had a map of the venue which was extremely helpful for finding my classes. I feel kinda spoiled by having been able to use the Whova app for this event and I hope that any future events like this that I may go to will use the Whova app as well. To those planning events, I highly recommend you use Whova for your attendees to keep track of the schedule and get to chat with other attendees prior to the event. It really helped make the whole event so much better!

My great experience with this app.. Are use the Whova app when I attended Equity Conference at the signature grand event. My experience using this app was very intriguing I got a chance to meet and see new people from all different perspectives. It allow me to document and see all the good festivities and be a part of it as if I was right there in everyone’s pictures. I give this application if I have a review. I have been recommending it to my superiors family members coworkers and others that I have encountered. The equity call conference was very enlightening on how thanks are in the school system. I was a case of Miss Katrice Dixon and would love to attend next year‘s event.

It actually works! Like, really well!. Finally, a conference app that is genuinely better than a paper program. I used this app for 5 days at a conference for the first time last week and it by far exceeded my expectations. It is easy to use (intuitive even for those who aren’t technologically savvy), not buggy, and has a lot of neat features that help with networking in a way that isn’t awkward. The map feature is excellent and particularly useful, and I like how easy it is to add break out sessions to my personal agenda. The way the app is laid out makes a lot of sense too — the first page it brings you to is the agenda, and then you can click on each event to read more, ask questions, take notes, and chat with other attendees in the sessions. I’ve had to use a lot of conference apps, and this is the first one that has improved the conference experience rather than create a headache. If I were a conference planner, I would definitely use this! Highly recommend!

Easy to navigate. Once I found out that livestreams were indicated at the top of the sessions ‘agenda,’ and only appeared there each day, I found the app easy to use to find a live-streamed session. And you can create your own own agenda of only those things you want to attend. The streams ran one after another with no real need to leave and come back to see the next one. It was, for the most part, glitch free as well once something started streaming. I used my iPhone for everything each day and was on my own home WiFi. And, once things that were recorded for later viewing that we had to miss are loaded into the app, we’ll be able to see all those sessions too. I like the app. It’s pretty easy to use and connect with others at the event.

Beyond impressed. I’ve got to tell you that I am beyond impressed having used Whova for the first time in an online conference experience. What really did it was seeing the many engaging ways Whova has built into the app to connect individuals and groups interested in the same topics. It actually suggests people to the user who share similar interests. It facilitates anyone starting a topical discussion group — or, taking it farther, facilitates anyone scheduling a video or face to face meet up. The contests built in make it fun to share more and complete tasks to gain points - perhaps to rise into the leaderboard. All to say that in the week leading up to the conference, I saw more interaction in the app than I usually see during a whole conference. Talk about giving a boost to the actual online conference!

The next best thing to bring there!. The Whova app made my first multi-day virtual conference an unexpectedly rewarding experience. Installation was simple, loading the meeting info was a snap, and selecting among optional sessions was a breeze. I liked the ability to flip quickly between My Agenda and the whole conference agenda to see what I might be missing. The embedded video links were seamless on my iPhone and conveniently linked out to a desktop for larger format viewing. The session Q&A and real-time chat functions created the interactive piece that is usually lacking in most web conferences. Virtual conferences will never quite match in-person events but Whova makes it feel like you’re part of a real meeting!

A must have!. I’m very pleased with this Whova app. It’s a perfect way to connect with all participants, coordinate our conference, and network. The only three things that need improvement especially in the phone app. 1) Change the ice breakers into a form thread OR have a button on the top corner to tap “Mark All as Read” so we won’t be stuck with swipe, swipe, swipe, especially with over 700+ attendees. 2) Move new Replies to the very top so it’d be easy to find a new question, comment or response quickly. We as a conference team have limited time and scrolling, scrolling and scrolling is a hassle. I’ve clicked on “Newest Replies” but it didn’t move the posts upward. 3) Change the poll notifications. Instead of posting “+1 poll vote” and “See Results” every single time, offer a button to mute the poll notifications AND just post one-time notifications and let us click on “See Results” only if we are interested to see. Otherwise, we’d miss a comment or response in the middle of those notifications because we have way too many of them to scroll all the way up and find the comment. It’s annoying.

Whova experience. I recently attended the 2023 HVP Summit January 11th - 13th. As a guest of the conference, all of the pertinent information was accessible through the Whova app. This app is extremely user friendly, easy to navigate, allows for real time updates for last minute changes, exchange of contact info and uploaded documents made super easy and a contact list and photos of all attendees. So much info at my fingertips. I was notified that the Summit info will be available for several months and can be downloaded. What a great way to communicate with those you know and making new connections along the way!

Unfamiliar to Familiarity. Honestly, I never heard of Whova app until I attended the Maryland Crime Victim Conference. This app was offered for participants to use. I must say that this is awesome interactive app as participants were able to converse with each other virtually and it gave the feel that you were actually face to face….. there were numerous topics that were provided and as participants….. you were able to post different topics, conversations, articles etc. I would highly recommend this app… if you want to feel apart and integrate your skills. I went from unfamiliar to familiarity as I was number one on the WHOVA app for the conference.

Great App. What a great app! Helps you connect with the right people at an event whilst also letting event organiser give you relevant information about the conference. Would recommend to any future events organiser

Complete experience. Love how complete the experience is. An ice breaker section, Earn points for involvement, so many spaces to converse about different topics, buttons to go to each different section so everything is easily found.

Engaging Event Experience. I found the Whova application an excellent resource for the 360 CX Symposium conference I spoke at in the Hunter valley March 2023. From the customised agenda to social chats, get together invite management and map of conference facilities Whova did not miss a beat. Excellent

Perfect setup. I really enjoyed the engagement and quality of all speakers. Thanks

Superb Application. As a software developer It’s rare for me write a good app review these days Whova is the first of it’s kind that I have used and what a brilliant idea Apart from a number of benefits it helped connect with a number of other delegates quickly

Excellent usable app made good connections and learnt heaps at change is gonna come conference. Brilliant ! Very effective communication and event app

Excellent user interface. We used Whova for a 1000 person conference. Everyone loved the user interface!

Great app to keep you organised. First time using this app and it has been amazing. So easy to navigate and every possible thing you need.

Great app for event organising. Was an excellent app used to coordinate hundreds of event attendees in one online space. Overall happy with the use of the app throughout my organisations event that spanned multiple days, and had up-to-date information from the event throughout the days themselves. Easily manageable and the configuration of all the personalised connection tabs between event attendees was also a nice touch.

Thank you!. The app was easy to use and navigate. Will highly recommend!

Informed and connected. I love this app .. with our Freedom Fest conference with around 800 peeps there and hundreds live streaming having all the information at our fingertips was incredible. There was no having to find your team and relaying messages we all had it on our phones. From check in to session times and where to be for them to any changes to the program It was so easy and effortless time efficient and easy to use .. Loved it ❤️🙏

Good with glitches. Great to have everything organised, uploaded, scheduled that part works. My profile including work history and photo is of someone completely different, I have no idea how this happened or how to change it, I emailed & no response. Had to turn off notifications as I was swamped with emails.

IGG Conference. Wow. I had never heard about Whova until I participated in the International German Genealogy Conference. What an impressive format. There were a few glitches but that often happens when one is attending a face to face conference. The conference organisers mentioned that they would be reported to Whova. From my point of view the company is accommodating so you couldn’t ask for more. One thing is for sure. I am keeping the app! I have already recommended the platform to one organisation for later use. Thank goodness someone thought outside the box. Just keep thinking that way to improve the app over time so we can all be transported to other parts of the world from our homes!

Too Good to be true!. Fantastic App that is well laid out , practical design, informative, easy to use, effective way to attain information required and interact. 👌👌👌👌

Easy to use. The recent online conference I attended used Whova for the delivery of the live streams and subsequent recorded sessions. The integrated chat function was terrific. Quality was also high. Highly recommended

Whova. Used Whova for our conference & it was great. Kept up with all the information, people & stuff going on. Connected with others & now have new friends. Great platform

Great App. Loved the ease, accessibility and user friendly way this app has been designed. Great for keeping on top what is happening at the conference. Highly recommend it 😊

Fantastic Digital App. I attended a virtual trade show on the Whova platform which was fabulous. Easy to use and provided all the networking I'd expect from a physical event

Absolutely fantastic Virtual Conference. I have attended two virtual conferences with Whova now and absolutely loved both experiences. The experience is excellent, very well set up and provides so many features for connectivity with other attendees and speakers/attendees. Highly recommend

Whova Event App. This app is a brilliant way to keep up to date with conference proceedings. The ability to flag sessions of interest with reminders is an efficient way to ensure you do not miss key sessions. Another fantastic feature is the ability to ask questions of the speaker via the app.

Whova - Great experience!. Recently attended a 2 day conference & the organisers had chosen Whova for all attendees to use. What an excellent idea! One centralised place for maps, registration info & the basics, but also a tonne of valuable add ons like being able to select the sessions you were interested in to create your own agenda, a community section with forums & questions that everyone could contribute to, list of attendees & messaging options so you could connect with others you met. I just hope that this is available to use at future conferences I attend as it added so much to the experience!

The best app for any event. I love this app. It was so easy to navigate and it allowed me to get track with the event agenda and network with the people attending.

Preachfest. Much better than paper. Much more useful and adaptable. Nice work!

Whova is a must have event management app. I experienced using Whova event management app recently for a CPA PNG annual conference. The app is not only useful in knowing program features, speakers on panel, attendees, dates and location but it also allowed various formal and informal community discussions between the attendees. Additionally for me as an employer Whova assisted me to post job position and obtain suitable responses as the target audience were professionals. The best part is the event will get over but Whova will maintain the details of event for upto months but one can keep Whova lifelong

Excellent. Loved the app to have the everything linked together. Definately made everyone's life easy.

Interactive, mobile and multiple functional. The best conference platforms I’ve used so far

AB review Whova. The event details were best. Knowing the agenda and ready access to timing and location at hand. The people profiles were great for our event bringing people who haven’t met before together. Photos brilliant. I didn’t need laptop or printed material so having most stuff on the app was great.

High recommend this app.. Very convenient app. Like it so much!

The App. Excellent user friendly even for an old person

Perfect for any conference or event. Great app which helps you to plan out your day at a conference or event aswell as stay in contact with the people you meet. There are also additional feature such as personalised information if you are presenting, forums and photo sharing. Very impressive.

Connect and keep notes. Great app to connect with others at a conference and also get the notes from the speakers who attend.

Easy and collaborative tool. I am enjoying using the app to find people, link people, review the agenda, set up meetings etc. Being able to share photos also a bonus. When I think of all the conferences I have been to and reliant on bumping into people in person, chance meetings etc. This app supports being more proactive and targeted with networking to get the most out of the conference.

Excellent App - made the conference experience seamless!. This app changed the way we thought about conference management and engagement. It allowed us to be unique and differentiate ourselves from the crowd. Would recommend to use any day.

Easy to use. I had no trouble using the app and everything worked smoothly with clear navigation

Review. It was great experience with using whova at the conference to connect to everyone at the conference and to connect with those at remote platform. I’m a member of the organising committee for Ausit conference next year and will recommend whova for sure to use it again. It was a pleasure platform to be involved and connect with other people and what’s happening around you. The best thing I liked was that you can upload photos on the spot for everyone to see it. Also, we can read about the speakers bio and their topics. I enjoyed it very much and I will definitely recommend it to everyone.

Whova Review. Loved it!!! A week long event with over 100 speakers made soooooo easy with Whova! Having the app on my phone made it easy to access anywhere! I was able to check the agenda and set reminders for the ones that I wanted to tune in to. And the ones that I missed, I can simply watch the recording!! I highly recommend it!!

So easy to use!. Very user friendly with easy to use face

Awesome App. Just had a 2 day Symposium in Sydney and Whova made it so easy and efficient. Very organised and also some fun thrown in with competitions. Thanks

Whova. Recently used Whova for 400 person, 2-day conference with people from around Australia and Europe. Fantastic for networking with others at the conference and discussing topics the presenters were addressing as the presentations happened. And people got very competitive on their place on the Leaderboard, which added a really fun element.

Whova keeps everyone connected. As a speaker it was reassuring to see the number of people pre registered for our presentation and also provided an opportunity to connect with individuals after the presentation. We had a diverse group who were not previously known to each other but the app enabled us to connect and meet up throughout the event to ensure no one was left out. The agenda feature allows delegates to explore opportunities for different events and the notification function ensures you don’t miss any presentations.

Intuitive. I like it - friendly interface and some real possibilities for interaction. Top stuff!

Dr. Cheng Yip. This app is brilliant. Helps everyone attending connect, allows messaging so we could ask questions and most of all allows us to plan our own schedule for which talks we want to attend. I highly recommend organisers to use it.

User friendly. The app is super easy to use and love the quick update everytime someone posted

Nick. Recently attended a conference that used the Whova App which provided everything you needed to know about the event including the agenda, attendees, speakers, competitions, etc. as well as the ability to connect with other attendees.

Great conference app. Made connecting with colleagues and keeping up to date on the science really straightforward. Highly recommend this app!

Thanks Whova. Whova app made a recent event I attended really easy. I loved that there was a personalised schedule, maps of locations attached and reminders for each session. 5 stars!

Ignite MNC Symposium on WHOVA. I love the user experience as a participant at the recent Ignite MNC Symposium on WHOVA. Relatively easy to use. I love the ability to engage and connect with people, speakers, exhibitors and attendees. It’s a fantastic events App with so many features that are appealing to everyone. The symposium was a great high content interactive online event but the WHOVA App made it even greater!

AUSTA conference. Great App kept us up to date with any changes, allowed is to easily connect with colleagues, read through program, download presentation notes

Whova App Fantastic. This is a wonderful app with excellent features and easily accessible and allows users to access video content etc. Great Conference Tool. Well done

Great functionality. Very cool app for conferences. I like the leaderboard and also all the information is at the top of your fingers. Lots of cool features to promote the talks and I particularly like the constant interaction you can have with participants by posting questions. Posters are available at all time too. Really great!

Whova. Productive app

Perfect app for conference management.. I have used Whova in about three big AI conference. Just a great product

Good platform. Whova is a good platform for conferences. Intuitive to learn!

Hard to find new content.. I have it sorted by newest reply, but I still have to scroll through all the groups to find me that have unread content. Then when I open the group I scroll through to the and don’t see any that are marked as unread. But the group is still showing unread. I clicked on the “New” on the top bar but it shows nothing, even though is new content available.

Automatically strip mined my LinkedIn. I was surprised to learn that Whova, on their own volition, had connected to my LinkedIn account, sucked up my data and then published publicly within Whova. No opt in, no opt out, no privacy settings at all in fact. When questioned on the issue, their response was that it’s mentioned in their privacy policy, and happens by default for Whova attendees ‘to aid in networking’.

App review for Whova. You guys created a nice App, well done. I liked the tabs for the home, attendee list and the others, the other tabs for pictures and such were great as well it was nice to share and the app allowed you to keep the info for I believe 3 months along with the attendee list which is what it’s all about after all.. Easy to set up and use and nice for specific networking.. Go team Whova 💪😎💪

NiagaraEarly Childhood Education professional development day. This was our very first professional development day for Early Childhood Educators in Niagara. This app was very organized and kept the hype up on this special event! It allowed you to rekindle with former coworkers and agencies. It was very supportive in your engagement, expression, well being and a real sense of belonging to Registered EarlyChildHood Educators . It was a very fun day and educational, supportive, and full of excitement! Christine Cameron I have been a R.E.C.E for 33 years.

AASP conference. Excellent tool to lost questions during presentations and pre audit.

Cbaa. It was a great app to use for our conference

Can’t flip iPhone to Landscape. Event layouts often include poetic seminar titles like “Make Every Day A… (off-screen, so must drill down) …featuring world renowned expert Billy-Bo… (off-screen, what expert?) Let me flip my iPhone landscape, make this app re-orient so column width become useful! I would be able to decide which of four 11:00 seminars to attend, instead of seeing a list of mysterious choices.

Whova in my opinion. I find the app does an excellent job in many fronts, from keeping a schedule for the extent of the conference to providing accurate information about the event. The communication tools are excellent for efficient networking. Getting virtual business card information is a lot easier and practical that the conventional exchange of physical cards. Perhaps my only comment is that I had to find the contacts manually from the list of attendees as the scanning function using the QR code was not working for iPhones. In general I am very happy with the app.

Easy to use platform. Platform was easy to use and network with other professionals

Great App for Trade Shows. Worked very well for the Trade Show we were at. Made it easy for knowing what events were taking place where and when at the show, but also very good for tracking opportunities for prospects and new business.

Excellent app.. Very helpful, easy to navigate

Great app to drive engagement for your event. If you’re looking for a way to drive engagement for your event before, during and after this app is the way to go. From forums to polls this app has the built in tools to allow your audience to participate and engage with other guests. It has a leaderboard that challenges your guests to engage more frequently to rank higher on the board.

Great tool for a conference. Using Whova App for registering attendees, communicating with team members is Whova’s strength. Would use it again!

Great app to handle the event communication. Convenient to communicate with participants, See announcements, create discussions, meetups, poles etc. Pretty cool to earn points for the activity. But, points should be awarded for the discussion or pole if people participate, not just for creation. Sometimes red dot is there but you cannot tell which discussion or pole has new update.

Mr. Fred Truong. All fundamental works are not in one platform, but very actively interaction between organizers and attendees! Wonderful!

Easy to use. The app is easy to use! The user interface is easy to navigate.

Whova Is Great!. Easy to navigate & to Connect with Event Attendees!

Wow Wow Whova. Have used the Whova app now for the past six conferences I have attended through our organization. It has been a very useful tool. I being competitive, love the top leaderboard option. I find it easy to navigate, share and see what’s going on and experience the conference in a whole new way. Great app, definitely will be using it again.

Whoava. It is a well organized platform to host conferences and webinars. I especially liked the profile it creates for participants pulling the info from other sources.

Too many emails. A good app but too many emails

too much. I am finding getting emails and Whova notifications to be too much! Especially for events I am not involved in.

Great App. I enjoyed using Whova at my last conference. It was great to track the sessions and the attendees. As well as post and read valuable information.

App Review. Really enjoying this app. Enables you to connect with members that will be attending the event and engaging on a social platform to create a buzz about the event

Great App. This app was great, there were a couple things I would have changed, but overall it did what it was supposed to.

Best Engaging Conference App. Very easy to navigate and keep attendees engaged!

Whova review. This app is fabulous. I could not have survived at Anarcapulco without it. It kept all the events up-to-date, provided the opportunity to message people directly and be part of community messaging. The calendar was easy to read, and the app is super easy to navigate through. Every category was useful, including the leadership board and the pictures.👍👍 I just hope it stays on my phone so I don’t have to download it again for next year.

Whova. First time to use the app and it was so user-friendly. Looking forward to maximize its full benefits and features.

Whova application. It’s simply a super multi functional APP ! It is a multi task application. It allows one to attend / follow / view / organize / invite / discuss and communicate efficiently with one or all participants at the conference. My fun fact: as I was having / finishing my breakfast at the hotel, I was watching someone’s presentation on my phone via Whova; then, still listening to the talk, I was walking in the direction of the conference room, then once at the door step, I closed my Whova app, open the door and the speaker completed his sentence. So, I have not missed a single word.

Great app!. I used Whova for the first time recently. It was very user friendly. It was great to have all of the information in one place.

User friendly.. This app is very user friendly. Keeps everyone connected.

Great experience with the App.. I enjoyed using the app for this conference and I strongly recommend it for all type of events.

Simply outstanding.. For attending seminar.

Awesome sauce. Met the love of my life through this app

Review. It was overall a better experience! I enjoyed my conference beca everything was well- scheduled and whova made it better too !!

Conference management at its best. Whova app has allowed interactions with delegates that would not have happened where there are 1200 participants..thoroughly enjoyed having the app and interacting with the delegates and scheduling meetings from the app.. My conference would have been 1/4 productive if it wasnt for the whova app..

User friendly. Good platform to connect with other colleagues.

Very helpful app. Easy to use. I recently had a conference and was using Whova for just the second time. I used the agenda section often, flipping back and forth easily from the conference agenda to my own agenda. It was easy to create my schedule of events. I also used it a lot to click on the map of where each conference session was held within the hotel. Very helpful app!

Awesome. Best conference app yet! Great for registration, agenda planning, checking in and reporting!

Whova game changing business connector. While many of us suffer this pitching/elevate talks and most really don’t want to age-back to printing cards. I found Whova app. a phenomenal game changing to connect with people and expand your circle of influence. Its a fact that in the world we live in today many people including me need to go back set and think thoughtfully about their ideas, then write it down before going viral. Whova is your free-pass, specially if you join a short-dynamic event and don’t want to miss any of the other topics/discussions and may be side-adventures. I will stick to this app for a while and confidently share the idea with some Folks.

Handy but noisy. Very handy to have the ability to favorite/add to schedule, and have one place to check for conference details. But I wish notifications/badges were more customizable. I would use it more if I could turn off some of the features. The gamification of the app usage, with the leaderboard and stars and constant trivial updates, is more clutter than I want. I have too many channels for communication already. But it may be handy (or fun) for some users.

Stellar App. Soooo easy to navigate - it reaches out virtually to network - say hello - make a friend …..to connect—to reach out ! - Seeing as I talk for a living as a pharmacist, RxTalks and WHOVA dovetailed brilliantly for me! Bravo to the teams involved👏👏👏 - With Kindest Regards - Lee Ann Chan ( nee Krekorian )

Information When You Want IT. Attending a 3 day conference is sometimes overwhelming but with this APP it makes it easy to navigate through it all with ease.

Networking - Building relationships. I attended the BC Resource Forum in Prince George and I downloaded the WHOVA app -It was perfect for sharing information with attendees on Reconciliation and building Indigenous relationships -I found the app easy to navigate and loved the meet ups to connect with many ibdustry partners I used the chat feature to meet new people. It is a must for anyone who attends large gatherings and is a great way to plan your day and stay connected

Elementary teacher. This was an excellent way to service professionals in person and virtually.

Easy to use for the not so tech savvy. I enjoyed using the, Whova App! At first, I cringed at the thought of having to download and navigate the app but once on Whova, I was able to find my course, see others who had joined and see other benefits to the app. I was able to navigate the app with confidence.

Very good experience. 5 star

Great app. Very easy to use

Community engagement. Love this for the community engagement aspect of an event. I’ve been using this software since fall 2020 for our meetings-easy to use and attendees like it. However they really need to add new ice breakers or give attendees the option to add their own. After 3 years these are old, and I’ve requested an enhancement and it has gone no where. Also the cpe certificate feature is not cheap, but only allows for ONE certificate type for all attendees. This is a limitation and we didn’t know this till after we purchased. Huge design flaw as majority of events offer multiple CE.

Really a great and amazing app!. The most amazing thing about this that I like personally is that everyone who is attending the event is registered under the app! So you can reach out to the people who’ve made and impact on you even if you didn’t get a chance to actually speak with them. BECAUSE THEY’RE ON THE APP! There’s so many other amazing things like scheduling made EZ! And being able to create groups and meetups whether in person or virtually. Just and all around amazingly useful app! I definitely approve!

Whova app is AWESOME!!. We used the Whova app for our CE Cource, Bourbon and Baby Teeth. The app was so easy to use, plus it was a great way to see when all the lectures were, along with quickly being able to do the reviews of each lecture. The coolest part is it was interactive during the lectures!! The presenters could ask questions of us, we could answer on the app and all of our answers showed up on the lecture screen, as a quick response in what all of us thought. Loved it! I hope all the courses/meetings I go to use this app!

Everything for a conference & Easy to Use. I recently attended a week long conference using Whova. Before the conference I logged in and could send messages to friends from all over the country! We set meet-ups and looked at all the workshops, answered pop up questions and got to know new friends. All of the conference was on Whova and we could make lunch or drink plans for later in the day. I am not really technical and had no trouble with the app. Our organization has used this app before and it is super to use!

Fun and User Friendly. I recently “attended” a conference for work using the Whova app. I was hesitant to download another app but I’m glad I did. It kept me engaged in the conference and allowed me to connect with people. I might have missed out on that aspect had I just logged in for then conference zoom meetings. Half the fun of a conference is forming relationships and having side discussions with the people you meet! I loved that the Whova app facilitated that relationship building piece in a fun way. Highly recommend for anyone putting together a virtual conference!

I love this app!. I’ll be honest - the first time I used Whova a year ago, it was a little overwhelming simply because I’d never used anything like it before. But my second time using it for the Alight! Align! Arise! Conference was incredible. I’m fact I feel like every conference needs to Use it to make a better experience for attendees. It’s an organizers dream. Whereas usually at a conference I’d set a goal of connecting with 5-10 people, I not only met that goal but surpassed it by connecting with 50 people over 2 days. That’s powerful.

Great App to Network and Engage. I love the Whoova app. It actually helps to build community and connections. During a recent event, we were able to gather and share industry specific articles, learn more about our colleagues, and create a virtual community during a live event. Using the app helped to give feedback to the organizers about specific speakers and share the topics that were of interest to the attendees. I highly recommend that if you are planning an event that you consider Whoova to bring excitement to your planning and invite discussion between attendees.

Whova is really fun to use for talking and getting to know people at conferences. I really enjoyed all the little features such as photos, polls and conversation topics along with the ice breakers. I like the leaderboard idea and how it gives you points for posting and staying active more. I am also a little biased towards the leaderboard as I got 528k points in 4 days and won a gift card for it. I really recommend making a conference or joining the Whova app to get to know others at your conferences. Very fun and well put together app. Made my weekend at the conference much more fun and engaging.

Very easy to navigate!. This app is very useful and easy to navigate through. The school I work for used it recently for a conference we were supposed to have in person but had to result to do it online. If you’re not tech savvy, it doesn’t really take much to understand the app but the app does come with a guide and tips to help you understand what everything means or where everything is located. It was easy to chat with other teachers I never met before and the quality of the videos was crystal clear. I would definitely recommend to a friend!

Great for networking and content. I am impressed with the Whova app. I recently attended an ideas conference virtually and enjoyed my interaction very much. App/Program provides structure and context as well as a few nudges to put any meeting into an environment where many differing goals can all be realized. I would have liked to have been better informed on when recorded sessions would become available but that cannot completely be a fault of the app. Overall very enthusiastic about the next conference on Whova.

Great App for Conferences. I attended the annual GSCA Conference and this app helped with navigating the conference. I like that all sessions and presenter information was all stored in one location. Even if two interesting sessions were scheduled for the same time, you could easily view the presentation from the missed session. Networking opportunities were greatly enhanced from using the App, which is great for lone conference travelers who may discover an old colleague or hometown friend to meet up with. It really helped to not sift through bulky conference book pages. I hope this is continued trend!

Awesome app!. The past couple of years our annual teacher’s convention has been canceled due to hurricanes, so when GACS was able to go virtual via Whova this year (because of corona), I was so exited! I loved being able to comment on the videos while watching, especially considering the videos were pre-recorded, so the speakers were in the audience replying to our comments. I love the in person conferences, but it thought this was a great alternative. The app was easy to navigate, and I love that you are able to set 10 minute reminders before each class started. Overall it was a great experience.

Great conference tool!. Whova was a great tool for our first virtual Maine School Boards conference. It enabled us to participate with live speakers and we will be able to review other clinics we weren’t able to attend during our two day meeting. I was able to hold several informal virtual meet ups to connect with other board members. It was easy to use both the mobile app and the web app. I would have preferred to have more options available from the mobile app on the web app—I was at home and would have liked to have those on the larger screen. But overall, nice experience and had no major problems with either platform.

C. S. Lewis Retreat Whova app. When I first was told I should download this app for the retreat, I thought oh, no. Another app. Another thing yo do. Why is it necessary? But I did, and almost immediately began seeing the benefits. I’ve been to many conferences in my career, and there’s always that printed schedule to dig out; asking how and where to go; trying to connect; and finding the right person to ask questions. This app solved all of that; it is so easy to use and helpful. I went from dreading it to living it. Even after I’d gone to bed and suddenly panicked trying to remember when and where I was supposed to be in the morning, I just reached for my phone on the nightstand and pushed a button. It’s the best app of its type I’ve ever used. I’ve already decided to use it for my next big event, and to recommend it to other conferences I’m involved with. Thank for for creating Whova!

Whova App. I just got back from a conference where we used the Whova app. Honestly, it was such a useful tool! I loved how you could see the other people who attended and reach out to them that way. I thought it was really fun to have a photos section where you could post photos from the current moment and all could see. I also loved that I could quickly find the session I was planning on going to and see the info on the speaker, where the session was located etc. The app was such a great tool !

Best Event App Out There. I attended a conference for work. As it was my first time attending a conference as well as being in a state I have not really been in. This app delivered in all aspects. I can easily navigate the 14 story hotel using the built in schematics the event organizers provided. I can interact with all the presenters and attendees to build connections and download presentation documents, brochures, and high level overviews of my events. If you use the app correctly it will not disappoint. If I ever have to host a large event I will definitely be looking at using this application! Kudos to the devs as this app “to me” is simply amazing!

Organization made easy!. I recently attended a Siposium and we used this amazing app. We used it for the events agenda and our own personal agenda for individual workshops we were attending. It was easy to organize meet ups after the days end to either discuss the days events or simply to see if anyone wanted to go out to eat. We were also able to post polls, share different websites and even upload photos! I would recommend this app to everyone and hope that we use it for next years SIP.

Love The Whova App. This year I attended my first Teacher Leader Summit and I had no help in knowing what to do because our school was state testing so it was difficult to go around asking, “did you attend before what do I do”. Anyway, I downloaded the app and being able to see all that was going all in the app and the Louisiana Dept. of Ed posting information constantly kept me in the loop and I was able to figure out how exciting and packed full of learning this summit was going to be. Also, I loved every moment of it except the food. It was amazing as this app is.

Great app for communicating in a group for Conference attendees ✔️. Yes! I found out about this app whova because our IAHSP Conference/Expo which was in October in Nashville, TN. The Leadership team with IAHSP recommended that all members who are attending the Conference download this app so we can communicate with one another, know the details and see the daily schedule and any other information that we will need! It’s awesome! I’ve already uploaded a few pictures, sent messages to others and have read the Conference details/schedules that are already posted! Cool! So cool! Thank you, whova! This is a very helpful app for coordinating everything for a Conference! Thank you, Virginia DO STAGE LLC

MH, Instructor. Wow! There were so many reasons why I would recommend Whova. I wasn’t on the team of coordinating all of this, however, you must have an awesome team to come together to make this all happen from the speaker platforms to the vendor tables. I would have liked to have understood more on how the videos for vendors were being shared so that we were able to get more hits. I loved the messaging systems to be able to communicate with everyone including the speaker. Our LifeAct team would like to mimic some of your processes within our own organization. Thanks again for all that you do.

The worst virtual conference platform I’ve used. Really miss the interface, information is hidden, works incredibly poorly on an iPad, hard to ask questions or chat, ridiculous amount of focus on trying to create a “virtual community” that gets in the way of actually getting information, which is the whole point of the event. Cannot use browser option on a mobile device, so forced to download the app. No options for easy support during the event. Being awarded participation points is irritating and demeaning and constantly having to shut down pop-ups just makes the platform even more annoying to use. If I knew that a future event was using this platform, I would not sign up for the event because the platform is so annoying.

Very user friendly and great features. I don’t have social media and I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to navigate the Whova app. Surprisingly, the app was very easy. I was able to engage both presenters and attendees. I received helpful notifications. I was able to digest information quickly. My favorite thing is that I am still using the app even after the conference ended. I met a new friend from the messaging feature and we were able to touch base outside of the app. I had a truly marvelous conference experience. Thanks!

Great App for Conferences In-Person or Virtual. This is a really great app to use for any in-person or virtual conference. It’s easy to install, setup and use before, during and especially a conference bc you can get access to recorded sessions that you were able to attend bc you were in different one at the same time. You can also connect to vendors and followup with them afterwards as well! And it is also very fun to use also bc you can set meetups with colleagues, share topics and articles and connect and make new friends! All around great App! And I love the name…Whoa!

Ease of navigation. I recently attended an event that utilized this Whova app Everything in one place, communication, schedule and details of the whole conference with reminders and options to make my own agenda so I wouldn’t be late to any of the workshop/seminar I had chosen for myself. The app allowed the participants to reach out and connect with one other and even allowed communication with the organization and speakers at the event. I highly recommend this program for ease of operation during your next convention or conference. Great tool for any company, church, or school when organizing an event with multiple attendees.

8.7 out of 10. Whova was great! I experienced whova for the first time during my conference Quavercon. It has tons of features That make attending an event or a conference super easy, like setting up your schedule or joining in on many different discussion boards.I even like how we could ask questions before a session began! The only hard thing for me was being able to locate where comments were that had “pop-up notification”. When I wanted to respond to a notification from the discussion board I would slide it open, the app, and discussion board would appear but not comment not to be found.

Re: Worked pretty well. The app was great and worked pretty well. It had everything you could need for the conference. The only thing that stops me from giving it a 5 star is at the point when we had breakout rooms, the app shows the different options and it had a live button under each one, however, it never bought me to the session and only to the main room. Other we’re having the same issue, even if they were on the computer. It made me miss a session I wanted to attend and therefore took away a star.

STOP READING AND DOWNLOAD!. You MUST get this app right now if your conference is using it. This app made connections at our Deal Maker Live conference so easy! I was able to network in advance, schedule meetups, attend other meetups and easier exchange contact details. I used the features to the fullest and 10X’d my networking. I am using it as I write this to easily follow up with everyone I met and pack my calendar with appointments. I almost never review apps and I wrote this one immediately. This app is literally going to make me millions of dollars in multifamily real estate!

For Tim Re survey request via email. The WHOVA app is awesome. I have had the app for over a year but this year I really explored the app because I attended a virtual Conference. It was very user friendly and easy to access the various Conference sessions. If I may I would recommend the following enhancements to the app; 1. The time to upload your business card was faster 2. That the app would link the attendees of like Companies and organizations together (ex. All attendees of from company ABC together all of company EFG together etc..). These are very minor recommendations but ones I feel will be a great enhancement to the app.

Good app, needs some work. Pretty good overall. I found that the inability to look at the session topics or other session information while watching a session was frustrating. The “program” button is a dead end, not allowing you to start the program. You have to press a different and seemingly redundant button called “agenda” . I also could not look at the agenda on my laptop while the program was playing on my iPhone. It shut the player off on the iPhone to avoid the reverb we are all so familiar with. This safety feature is great, it is frustrating not to be able to look at the agenda on a separate device. That may be where one should press the “program “ button, but that’s not at all obviousl

Awesome platform. I had never heard of Whova until my recent experience with it being utilized for a conference I attended virtually. Whova afforded the ability to attend virtual sessions but interact and engage both presenters and other participants. I like to think that because of Whova I was able to establish more professional contacts then I probably would have face to face simply because I’m more of an introverted being and would prefer to only interact with the least amount of people if possible. I have and will continue to recommend Whova to my colleagues.

Whova makes conferences successful. Was introduced to the Whova app at the recently concluded GOED Exchange. Had no previous exposure to it. It was a tremendous tool for working my way through the event. It had daily schedules with details This detail included speaker bios, PDF of presentations, contact information and more. The app also listed all attendees with function and ways to connect There were ways to schedule meet ups during breaks, pose questions and more. Updates on venues and other alerts showed in notifications, such as lunch being moved due to inclement weather. It had really everything you want to know as you worked your way through the event. It also had a little contest for posting pictures , scheduling events , providing feedback on speakers etc. Whova definitely enhanced my success at the show and helped me accomplish more

A phenomenal way go enhance a conference experience. I’ve been to a few live conferences that used the Whova app. And truthfully, I don’t know how conferences could be done without it. Whova is such a phenomenal way to engage with fellow attendees, organizers, and sponsors. In the last event I went to, I was communicating with attendees almost 6 months before. When the conference finally occurred, the connections I made were less cold call, and more like interacting with a good friend. I may use Whova access as a deciding factor to attend future conferences and events.

Whova app. This app is so easy to use. I attended a virtual conference using the Whova app. This app was easy to navigate. I loved how I was able to set my own itinerary and the app would email me reminders about the events. I also like how the information will be available to me even after this event. I also really liked that I was able to see pictures from the people attending my event and that I was able to keep digital notes on the speakers. I thought this app was really good and it made me feel as if I was almost there…

Tech can work!. Honestly I ignored this app at the last conference. But that’s because we were there in person. Now that I’ve had no other way but the app with which to connect with people and to explore the conference, I am a true believer! Next time I am at a conference, not I but when we can get this pandemic under control, I will be sure to use it. If you are not comfortable with technology or if you are skeptical about virtual conferences, if they have Whova you should consider using it and going to that virtual conference!

Video stream is sporadic, keynote address not loaded. This is my first “hybrid” conference where I am attending as a virtual participant. Some of the livestream presentations have loaded fine, but live streams with the keynote speaker (and most attendees), loaded late with a wait clock with sound only, or with missing the presentation entirely. I was instructed to bypass the app and instead use Chrome. However, Chrome either opened the app with no livestream or a page to go to the Apple Store to download the app, thus not functional for the conference presentation. I closed the app and restarted. I contacted whova support who sent me non-functional links. After the keynote presentation ended, the livestream loaded in the app. I am thoroughly frustrated.

Easy to Use Conference App. I participated in a remote conference using Whova recently and was impressed with its performance and functionality. Seven months into the pandemic, I’ve used several of these apps for virtual conferences and meetings. Whova is perhaps the best one I’ve used so far: it’s easy to navigate, allows participants to create meet ups, has a job messaging area, and other functionality I have not seen before. The only thing that I think the developers need to work on is to make it easier to toggle between sessions and the overall agenda. That seemed to actually work better on my iPhone that on my laptop.

Serve on Board: Inua Partners In Hope. I found the app easy to use and navigate. During the day long conference with people from around the world , the quality was excellent. The “contact” feature to reach out to others working around the world on food security issues and farming has been beneficial. Technology is not one of my strengths, so I was concerned about my abilities to use the features of Whoa. To my surprise, the app was simply designed thus my efforts were listening and watching the conference and not (thankfully) dealing with how to maneuver through the app to participate.

Whova - Making Symposiums Simple. Recently attended an online Project Management 2-day educational event. Whova was absolutely perfect! I could accomplish everything I needed or wanted to do - easily. Had all elements of a conference included in the functionality: Admin, speakers, attendees, profiles, schedule, ability to create a personalized schedule, networking, live video presentation, Q&A, documentation, event monitors. They even had a fun contest which awarded points for engagement. So easy to use the app. It was great not having technology be a blocker, but instead enabling users. Great job Whova team! I am a fan!

Whova. I had the opportunity to use the Whova App for the first time during The Crawford Catastophe Services Conference this past week in Dallas, TX. This app was a great form of communication and keeping in touch with the Crawford Family. It allowed us to follow the agenda of classes and was extremely accurate. The best part was the use of the Community Board. What a blessing to have this form of communication available to reach out to so many wonderful people attending this event. I’m hoping that the App is available to us following the conference. I would definitely recommend this app to any organization. Patricia Bobbs

Great Conferencing Experience. I’ve attended 2 conferences using Whova. The first I was 100% virtual. The second I attended in person but also utilized after session recordings to maximize the content I was able to see and credits gained towards professional relicensure. Once I became familiar with the format it was great!! It did initially take a bit of effort to navigate due to my inexperience with the virtual format. The convenience of seeing the full agenda, signing up for sessions, and asking questions through the app is unparalleled. Also having access to handouts and slide sets once I am back in the office is great!

Way To Go! Whova. Has a 60 year old woman feeling not so computer savvy Whova made my experience at the virtual ignite women’s empowerment summit/conference simply the Best. I would even go so far as to say better than all the rest. However, this was my first time experiencing a virtual conference due to the pandemic I have nothing to compare to. I wouldn’t go anywhere else no need to fix something that’s not broken. Someone is doing great works at Whova. When you can make me feel this comfortable interacting for two days on a iPad thank you for keeping it easy and feeling like support was at my fingertips at all times , you’re real good Whova.

Whova. Whova, keeps you informed and on top of a conference. Makes you use your resources and have fun while doing it. This was my first experience using the app and I’m no computer guru. But I did more research, communication, question asking and Polls, than I’ve ever been involved in before. It actually helped me understand the full concept of my conference. The app actually made it fun and enjoyable, you compete with other attendees at the conference so it makes it a little competitive. I must say Whova made the week long conference more enjoyable and fun!!

39th Annual Conference. I have used this app several times. I LOVE this app. It’s a great place to meet up with other attendees, Meet and learn about fellow attendees through the chat questions and of course an easy way to find your scheduled meetings and activities. What’s even better is you have the opportunity to go back into the app after the conference to meet up with attendees which is amazing. Whova app is the new way for conferences. I hope my organizations will continue to use the app once we are back in person.

Great for conferences but spam city after that. For the conferences I’ve attended the application is very nice for attending and joining rooms. The built in chat boards, question board with voting is great. Now the bad. Recently the application starting spamming me about new conferences and new features to software. I’m done with the conference, I don’t care!!! The notification settings in the app only let you control what you want to get from the conference itself but nothing in general about the application spamming you. So I had to completely turn off all notifications from the app because this is bad design and annoying. 3 stars for the designers being annoying pests.

Awesome conference platform. First let me say, I am at the tail end of the baby boomers and learning new technology can be intimidating. I however did quite well and I discovered this to be a very easy app to use to navigate my conference. I really liked the separate areas, such as “conference agenda” and “your agenda”, which made it easy to identify what topics were coming up and which ones I had selected to attend. I appreciated the reminders added to be calendar. I am already looking forward to using it again.
