Inaccurate. Looks good, is cheap ish, but it isn’t supported anymore, and is pretty inaccurate when it comes to the moons of other planets, not to mention lots of missing textures on objects that shouldn’t have missing textures at this point. And it only supports Messier dsos, which severely limits what you can see. Don’t buy this.

Worth a try. Good app for stars, planets, constellations, etc. Pretty easy to use. Though it hasn’t been updated for a number of years. I find that concerning. However, it still works fine. So maybe the saying, “If it isn’t broke don’t fix it” applies here.

App crashes. I don’t know if I have bee scammed or not. I have had star chart on my iPhone for years and liked it. Tried to find the new ZTF comet. Not there. User manual said comets and other objects included up Star Chart Infinite upgrade for $4.95. Paid and downloaded. I don’t see much difference and current comet ZTF not listed so certainly not up to date. Very disappointed. I can’t figure out to use all the features mentioned in the sales story.

Look up and Smile!. This app doesn’t replace a telescope, or camera, but it does enhance star viewing! The ability to isolate, plan, pan (with appropriate labels), and zoom, adds dimensions to star gazing that have to be experienced to believe. $5 . . . are you kidding me? Wow!

Super cool!. I havent tried the guide or anything and i’ve learned so much from this app! I actually bought the full verison when i saw you could see satalites and meteor showers.

Lots of fun. Really enjoy night walks with this app. It makes the night sky come to life just being able to identify the stars, planets and constellations. I am not an ultra serious star watcher, but this is so easy to use, my grandchildren think I am a wonder showing them where to look for the various sights in the sky.

Works. I wrote a review, but just because the nickname I picked was taken - something Apple should have known as soon as I left the field - Apple erased the whole review. Maybe they'll get a CEO who will make Apple great again.

Works well. The app needs a little getting used to. At times almost too much information. But once your used to it it is very nice. Abs that addition information is always there to use if you need it.

Solid app.. This is definitely a pretty good app. My only recommendation would be a legend that is easy to access while using the chart. Unless that already exists and I just can't find it.

Love it!. I have always been somewhat of an astronomer, which is why this game is perfect for me, so I enjoy it a lot.

Great for looking at & learning about sky objects. My only complaint is when I want to change my settings for this app, I cannot. It seems if you made a wrong choice the first time you set up the app, you are stuck with it forever. 😔

Loved it!. It helped a lot with my schoolwork and is a super fun app in general. The automatic mode works better on mobile then my iPad but it's still a great app for information and is really fun and useful!

Fix calibration. Overall of the app however the calibration continues to flash in the background which becomes very annoying I never had any problems with their Limited app.

Awesome!!!. I love looking at the sky and looking at the stars with my wife. Now instead of totally making stuff up as I go, I actually show her the stuff that I'm making up. I think it's accurate as can be, I love seeing where the sun is when it's not over Texas. Great app if the stars interest you, or, if you wanna pick up chicks it's a great way to start a conversation.

Epic, though it still needs improvement yet it has improved remarkably!. Works fine on my device. iOS 9 iPhone 6s.

Dave. App has beautiful detail and a great library. What needs to be done to make this a five star is to have a floating cursor. When you point to an object, a marker will circle the object on your screen along with the name of that object.

TitusAndronicus44. Star Chart infinite is one of the better apps in my extensive collection. However, I would like to see the data for ISS revised to reflect a more realistic orbital distance and path. I mean, really, 3500+ km; and orbiting inside Earth's interior?? Having said that, I still think it is a damned cool app.

Accurate. I use this app to teach my kids and it is accurate and easy to understand.

God is Real!. I love the fact that we can see all of God’s creations and we can see his promise all day and all night— only if we choose to see it.

Awesomely Beautiful!. Whenever this world gets the darkest, I can see the stars (even during the daylight)!

Star link satellites????. How about adding star link tracking?

Love it but I’m Lost. I found this out of curiosity and I love it. Beautiful graphics and interesting information but the only issue if I can’t identify anything for certain. Distance between two objects seem much further apart than in person (I’m currently looking at Mars right now as it’s the brightest object at the moment and red so I wanted to verify it was. App portrayed it the same but just a bit further away from a specific marker so good for them) and I’m tired of losing where I’m trying to look. This app would be perfect if it had the 360 feature so it knows what you’re looking at directly.

Never get tired of it!!!!!. I’ve had this app for about 6 years or more and it still keeps my interest. I think it’s the best app of its kind out there.

Souls. Lots of Astro apps out there, some good, a few great, many poor. This is one of the better - intuitively built, correct in content, quite user friendly.

Almost Perfect. The app is outstanding! Star Chart Infinite is easy to use and provides information on hundreds (if not thousands) of night sky objects. However there is a nagging glitch: the app never displays the night sky correctly, for example, let's say I am viewing the moon in the sky but on the app it shows the moon a few degrees in the wrong direction thus making it difficult to identify stars correctly.

Great art terrible labeling. The lab set as of the names of the constellations are too faint. The Art is great and the stars are labeled but it is very difficult to find and read the names of the constellations.

Abandoned.... It is great, but it hasn’t been updated in 3 years. You have, like, abandoned Star chart.

Great app. The app overall is good for what it is I only wish that you didn't have to pay for all the extra things I would like to have VR mode but it is on an entire different apps that cost five dollars also I wish there were more ways to be able to get notifications when there are comet shooting stars things. Also I wish there were more things you could do inside the app and be able to get closer to planets and stars at least earth but overall very good at and I look forward to seeing it grow.

Very impressed!. I used to own a couple of different star chart apps. Then my son told me about this one, and of course I got hooked. I love night photography, and I love the night sky. It helps me find everything I’m looking for with ease, and teaches me about stuff I don’t know that’s up there. Highly recommend for any star enthusiast.

Great. Ingenious little app for sky watching. Easy to use; just point your device at a section of the sky to see what's out there.

Good But Could Be Better. Got this thinking that NEOWISE would be on the map or trackable. It was not. Also the tracking is of as I was looking south but it was displaying the western part of the sky. In the end looks nice but not updated quickly. I hope they fix this soon and I will just wait the next 6,800 years till NEOWISE comes back.

I love this app. One of the only apps I’ve purchased the full version for. It’s well worth the money if you love astronomy.

When it works, it’s the best. Unfortunately, calibrating to the night sky has issues; and as a result, it’s really hard to use half the time. I will say, when calibration nails it on startup, it’s a very functional app, and a I love using it on clear sky nights. If there were an intuitive, simple way to recalibrate, I’d definitely 5-⭐️

Solid app. I use it all the time never failed tons of options.

Great tool for the amateur astronomer!. I loved the free version so much, I bought Infinite for a peasly $6! It promptly helped me find the perfect place to watch the Perseids and Cygnids. My only gripe is that I couldn't listen to space weather radio at the same time the app was open.

Great map. This is a very detailed map and it's surprisingly accurate! It matches up very well with what I see in the sky. I do have som issues with calibration on my iPad, but I think that's just an iPad thing because it works great on my iPhone.

Kills music. Not configurable enough.. Why can't I listen to my own music when I switch to this app? I've disabled all your in-app sounds. I'm also annoyed that I can't get rid of the red-colored in-app notification numbers. And that I can't adjust relative size and brightness of stars, planets, etc. And that I can't search across categories, that I am supposed to choose first stars, or planets, or comments, etc.

Love it with the upgrades purchased.. I set my location based on my GPS coordinates and enjoy the nights that I get a chance to use it. I don’t find it as confusing as at first and like it the way it is.

Best star app. I've tried a bunch of different astronomy apps, and this one takes the cake. I love the balance between depth of information and simple presentation. Only complaint that I have is that the track for the ISS was nonsensical last time I checked. It had it doing figure eights over the course of the night. Might be a glitch.

A lot of data but crashes often. Every 15-20 minutes it crashes while tapping on a star.

Love this thing. I've been trying to get into astronomy more because it's something I've been interested in since I was little and this little device is extremely informative, simple to use, and handy. You really can't go wrong with this thing.

Glitchy! Constantly Calibrating! Every few seconds.. Deleted the free version after using it for years. Purchased the infinite version and immediately saw the same glitch. ‘Calibrating” with circular calibration tool flashes on and off screen every 2-3 seconds. Impossible to use. 😡

No updates. Is this app dead? Am I reading correctly that it hasn’t been updated in 4 years? I guess that explains why it doesn’t show Comet NEOWISE, which is visible in the night sky and all over the news right now.

Great fun!. We use this app on an iPad Pro, and it works great. We will be out in the Boonies next month. Can't wait to use it then.

Great recommend. I really enjoy this app. Sometimes just nice to sit outside for awhile and see what you can with or without binoculars. Or when I plan a night to set up telescope and try out my new camera mount for my DSLR cannon. This be my yr as weather gets nice to get some great shots I can look at in advance, using the program. Especially if go to a low artificial light place which is on ocean headland.

J’adore cette application !. La première fois que j’ai fait l’utilisation de cette application je venais tout juste d’installer StarChartAR. J’ai ainsi fait l’usage l’ors d’un spectacle à ciel ouvert à l’observevétoiles au diable vert à Sutton ici au Québec! C’est le premier planétarium à ciel ouvert avec réalité augmenté,et j’étais dans le confort de sièges en chauffant , dans un amphithéâtre,perché à 1000 pieds d’altitude,cette endroit a été récemment certifié comme réserve de ciel étoilé. J’ai téléchargé 2 applications donc celle-ci qui est excellente et démonstrative ,et c’est une autre vision « magique »du ciel que l’on voit.l’autre application similaire est StarChart pour la VR (réalité virtuelle) Que l’on utilise avec le casque de réalité augmenté fait par aryzon et gracieuseté de National Géographic,le tout accompagné,guidée par la narration d’astronomes. Pour conclure ;J’ai bien apprécié mon expérience,donc quand on telecharge l’application au retour a la maison ,on peux s’amuser à observer les étoiles avec les enfants ! C’est vraiment cool ! Free - NOT TRUE!. I bought this Star Chart Infinity which said that if I did buy it ALL upgrades in Star Chart as in App upgrades would be free. But when I click on the upgrade it still wants to be paid 😩 ! So it’s not free.

Excellent App. Star Chart continues to be my favourite sky app. However I discovered something interesting in the app when I was asked a piece of trivia regarding Dwight D. Eisenhower’s D-Day invasion of France on June 6 1944, specifically what phase the moon was in on that day. I decided to scroll back in the app to see what it showed, and it revealed that the moon was just starting out of its new moon phase, when in fact it was right around its full moon phase along with clear skies and low tide. Still, I thoroughly enjoy this app!

Love the night. Can't wait to get out and away from the city lights with my telescopes. This app is incredible. I've been able to locate stars and planets in the Atacama desert of Chile and the desert of Oregon. Worth every penny.

Sky charts. Graphics are great. Zoom and unzoom provide perfect clarity for crowded areas of the sky. Info boxes are helpful for outreach, tech generation love the views of what the telescope will show them, and its easy to show them what to look for in the eyepiece.

Dwarf Planets and Asteroids. Can you please add textures to the Dwarf Planets and Asteroids?

Best star chart out there. Everything you could ever want in a star chart app. The free version is all you need really. I grabbed infinite when it was on sale.

Comets are kinda bad. Can you please fix the comets and more asteroids?

Nice looking. I love this app very much, however, i wish that there was more information on things that you can tap onto. I love to be able to zoom into great pictures of things but it don't enjoy the lack of information they have on the extraterrestrial body.

Excellent. This application is perfect for anyone who is very interested in astronomy. If you're looking for just a pretty looking visually stunning up this may not be the one for you. However, if you want a very accurate stargazing companion by this now.

Profoundly Useful!. Whenever I need to know how far away something in the Solar System is going to be at a given time, Star Chart is always up to the task. This app is as handy as a slide rule!

Where is comet Wirtanen?. USA Today announced its arrival. Star Chart Infinite isn’t helping me find it. Website claims app has 20 or so “newsworthy” comets.

Useless. Calibration pop up constantly appears. Suggested fix is to delete and reinstall app. This doesn’t work. The frequent (every second or so) makes this app utterly useless.

The Best. The best star chart app hands down.

The BEST!. This is the best viewing app of its kind, you cannot go wrong. I have an iPad 3 w/ wifi and have had NO problems at all...in fact, I bought the full package version not too long ago, it's that good. There's more information offered than I know what to do with, but it never hurts to expand one's mind, right? Awesome job, developers!

Needs a 2020 update. I like the format over the other apps. I wished they updated this recently to include the Neowise comet.

Frustrating. Ongoing problem with calibrate screen flashing. Deleted and reloaded without effect. When I pay this much for an app I expect it to work. Very frustrating!

Where is C/2022 E3?. I just bought the app in order to find the comet C/2022 without success because isn't listed.

Overpriced and disappointing. I cannot believe this cost more than $20! Compared to every other astronomy app I've tried, it gives you almost no control over the appearance of the sky. What's worse, it is impossible to smoothly zoom in and out. The zoom seems to jump unpredictably from too far to too close and vice versa. I've tried about 8 different astro apps and this manages to be the worst one by a considerable margin and also the second most expensive by a considerable margin. You most certainly are not getting what you paid for with this app.

Outstanding!. As an extremely amateur astrologist I found this app very useful in not only aligning my telescope properly to the night sky, but I'm learning stars, constellations and other objects as well. While I tip my hat to well versed star-gazers who had to learn the cosmos the hard way, I have this app to thank for being able to identify many objects on the fly. The full app is well worth it for any hobbyist.

Uploaded IOS8 and it locks up. Iphone 5s. Uploaded to IOS 8 on my iPhone 5 s. Now it just locked up. It does not work. Beware iPhone 5. If you uploaded to IOS8 do not buy until upgrade of this software. $24 + dollars for nothing.

ISS location tracking NEEDS FIX, please. Great app for nature’s celestial objects, but an artificial satellite - specifically ISS – was displayed BELOW the horizon in this app, when it was ACTUALLY almost directly ABOVE in the sky, and just passing by the moon, then near Venus/Mars/Jupiter. For the app developer’s reference, this occurred on Nov 4, 2015 at 5:49 a.m. from southern California's viewpoint. Makes me wonder about the accuracy of the other artificial satellites?? Otherwise, this is one of my favorite apps, thank you.
