Not bad, but needs some improvements. It has multiple problems that need to be fixed, like music stopping completely after one song on occasions. But it worked well other than a few problems

Try it. Works great. I use it all the time. All it needs is a pause button that works.

Perfect. I never leave reviews, but this app is exactly as described. XBO didn’t pick up the PS3 app on the Mac initially, but this app synced it right up.

The best ever!. I was easily able to transfer music and pictures to my ps3!! Totally recommend if you’re wanting music and pictures on your console!

It WAS a wonderful app. It was a wonderful app. And the only app through which you can cast videos and pics and photos to TV. (In my case sony bravia) No need of any settings. But On iOS 7,iPhone 4 but when i updated to iOS 9,iphone 6. There are few bugs. Now Its can't open videos. The app crashes. The UI is not updated to support iphone 6 display (old large fonts are there) Volume can not be controlled.

Ad pop ups exit the app every 3 minutes and disrupt video playback. Ads continuously pop up and exit out of imediashare and open safari, causing the video playback to have an error. These ads pop up every 3 minutes and make the app experience frustrating and make the app useless. Please fix immediately, this was never an issue before.

Need for new iPhone models. When I try to add music or anything from the app the cancel or the done button doesn’t work. The wifi and battery keep blocking the done option and I can’t upload anything

Works for Xbox One. I personally find this app very nice. I'm able to play music, play games, and charge my iphone7. Very good so far, want more features like a shuffle mode though

Not The Best But Usable. The only issue I am having with this is when I am copying a file over I sometimes get a random error message, I experienced this when I was transfering personal videos and photos off my phone to my ps4 thus copying them to a flash drive small files did great but anything over 200mb quite often I got device unable to connect message. But overall it got the job done not the best I got what I needed.

Funded by Apple TV?. App feels like it was designed in the 90s. Brutal. I have Apple TV at home and tried to stream/mirror an app onto a smart tv while traveling. Absolutely brutal. Don't bother with this archaic app. Get Apple TV (or don't forget to bring it with you when traveling) and save yourself the hassle. It's just not worth it.

Photos only. “Cannot play media” is the helpful error message shown when trying to stream any video or song from an iPhone. iTunes purchased videos are not an option. Photos work but streaming is slow and the navigation view is essentially a DOS-like directory system. Sitting through hundreds of pix to find a specific one is too time consuming. I will keep it for rare occasions but it will not become a regular use app.

This thing just quits. I finally figured out how to show some photos on my Sony Bravia TV, but only about a third of them would load in the app itself. It quits abruptly when trying to go into anything else. No videos: you hit the button in the app, and the app quits. You hit anything else in the app, and this thing just spins and spins forever. Please do something about this app. It is not good. I have a Sony Bravia HDTV and an iPhone 6.

The good and the bad. The good: this is by far the easiest app to use to wirelessly stream music from my iPhone to my TV and connected sound system. The bad: Can only play one song at a time. Will not play music on my phone that I "purchased" through my iTunes monthly fee plan (9.95 for unlimited use.)

Needs lots of improvement. I can’t even play any of my music because the screen is zoomed in for some reason. Not a lot but just enough so that I can’t confirm any songs or cancel from the select menu, which is really annoying cause that’s all I wanted this app for.

Current Build - Awful!. I've been using iMediashare for over a year and its been fantastic. Then the latest update came out and it's just plain awful. Not only does it freeze, it freezes mostly on the advertisement ad that we are forced to see when opening the app. Overall performance is terrible. Someone did a rush job on this latest update. Very sluggish before it freezes. My phone is practically new not to mention I'm well versed on the iPhone. I used to recommend this to friends - sorry I can't recommend it anymore until you give us the old iMediashare that actually works!

Waste of my time. I just downloaded this app, I signed in set it up try to play video, photos, and music. It crashed every time I tried. Don't even think about wasting your time on this app! There should be a ZERO star option because I don't even want to give it one!!

Crappy app. Do not buy.. Being a photographer, I have many albums on my phone. It worked for the videos on the first set, but I scrolled down to "camera roll" and clicked on it, and it crashed. (4 times. I still haven't gotten it to work.) it's totally not worth the effort and needs to be fixed!!!

Wonderful when it works.. It’s free, it’s easy to use, and when it works it works well. Sometimes particularly with still pictures it won’t work. Every so often you have to delete it and reinstall it.

Very Little Support. I created the folders on my NAS as shown in the App. I was able to sign into my NAS. But none of the files I added to those folders shows up in MediaShare. I located a question in Fipps' blog with questions about where to put these videos, etc. The question was dated 2013. There was no answer in that thread. This utility will do me no good if I cannot see my files.

Philips tv. When no others apps would cast video from my iPhone S E to a 2.5 year old Philips smart T V I used media share which also works with the tv remote and has worked very well fiir about 2 weeks. Thanks

Junk. You know how you download an app to show photos or video on your smart TV but it doesn’t work? It has no explanation of the intended features and you try to use it but it doesn’t do what it appears it should do? Is it the TV it the app or the technology at fault? This app spent time creating negative pressure with my toe in its mouth, so to speak!

Not cool. This is crap! I can view all my photos no problem but then I try the videos and it just boots me out I can't believe this is the only app that will work for this and it's crap. The video is the main reason people want to use this app. Your tv by itself will show all the pics you don't need the app so this makes your app completely useless if you can't watch any videos.

iPhone 6 user. Works perfect for me. Installed the app after I read all the bad reviews to check it out and was pleasantly surprised!!! Recommend it!!!

My opinion. Initial connecting a problem but when once connected it works well. It’s a good application and hence quite useful

No Podcasts ??. The application is amazing and does everything expected, but I can't stream the podcasts. It would be amazing if you could add that functionality!

Works great!. the ONLY thing I would change is its ability to keep rolling. after every song, I have to manually change it to the next. it should automatically go to the next song in the playlist.

There’s a problem. When i launch Media Player on PS4 , while im in the app (imediashare) it just show me ( please connect your ps4 to the media server to your wifi !

Good but needs some improvement. You can’t screen mirror your phone only your photos and your videos and your music so I recommend you download this app just for photos and videos I don’t recommend if you want to show the screen because it doesn’t share screen and that please read this IMedashere

Mini. It stops after click video from iPhone

Great app. Actually plays photos from pc without limits on images. Most free apps are trash demos but this one is great. Just needs auto play and will be perfect!!!

Completely broken. Tried connecting to my ps3 with this and the app crashes, but my ps3 gets a DLNA error when trying to view my files on my phone

Actually really good once you figure it out.... Don’t be put off by its low rating, this app does what it’s supposed to do. I had to play the media/playlist on my phone before it would show up in the menu of my PS3, otherwise it would show nothing for music or say the videos are corrupted. But, once I got it going after a few moments it was great.

Don't even try!. I tried this on April of 2016 and all of the devices in the network started acting up!! The iPhone didn't find the TV and so the connection was never established! I tried troubleshooting, but once I found out that my iPad and my TV are not responsive (without having this app or even being connected tot his app on my iPhone) I gave up. Save yourself some time and don't even give this a try.

Oooooo this is garbage.. There are apps, there are crap apps, and there's this one. Interface from the year 2008. Functionality of a toaster from 1991. Does it deliver? Maybe. If you're patient. And you have the constitution of a Radio Shack customer. Just buy an Apple TV or one of those USB doohickeys. You'll feel better and you'll get the job done. The job that Sony and affiliates cannot yet do.

OneDrive Support. I really enjoy using this app, but it’s limited. I would like to log into my OneDrive cloud storage to project pictures and video to my TV. It would be a five star app for me if it had that capability.

Needs improvement!. My videos will stream to my Samsung tv for about 5 to 10 minutes before suddenly quitting and exiting out of the video returning to regular tv. If this was not an issue this would definitely be a five star app.

Awesome app. I have tried 3 apps like this but they didn't all sink my music like this one

Not usable. The locations of the items to press when selecting music or pictures are on the very edge of the phone. Short of throwing my phone across the room because I can’t get it to work…it’s is extremely frustrating. Rework this for better access point locations!!

Poorly made. Why is it that Soooo many developers are putting out these trash apps? Dude why would I ever want to purchase an app that can’t run properly in the trial version? This will be the 10th app I’ve downloaded and deleted. Pretty sure my 5 year old can cone up with something better than these scammers. SMH

Easy set up, crappy usage. I was so excited about how quick and easy it was to set up! But it plays a song from my phone to my ps4 and then shuts off and says "playback has stopped" after a few minutes. Every song.

Great app. It's a good app I used it to transfer my music to my PS4, it works perfectly I don't get how it has some bad reviews

Not Worth the Effort. Tried using iMediaShare on my iPad to allow mirroring with a recently purchased Samsung Smart TV. After downloading and opening the iMediaShare, it appeared to be unable to recognize any Photos or Videos stored on the iPad. Upon selecting Photos or Videos from the main menu, it displays page after page of "This asset is not available" messages. There is no Help menu to speak of. Thus, it falls into my category of "DELETE AND MOVE ON". Seems to be another of those "slap together and dump online without testing apps". I then downloaded the TV Assist app which works just fine.

It was very cool to see in action❤️. I read the reviews to this app. But to be honest I was scared to get it but when I got it it was so mind blowing that I just want to keep using it for the rest the night this app you should get it it's not that bad it's will surprise you will some of you❣

Needs Improvement. I wanted to show my videos from my iPhone 6 on my new Samsung 55" Smart tv (6200 series). I downloaded this app and was able to show my photos on my tv. It takes a couple seconds for each pic to load before you can see it. I tried to view my videos, and couldn't get it to work at all. I tried several different ways with no luck.

Awesome.. Works as intended/described. Videos, photos, and music stream flawlessly to Xbox one. Couple request for the Dev would be the ability to zoom into pictures as they're being casted and the ability for continuous music play instead of having to manually play every song.

Dosent work. Just downloaded the app. Using iPhone 8s. Trying to use the app but it keeps crashing on the main screen. Can not get any further than that. Un-installed it and re-installed it to see it that was the problem but it doesn’t do anything other than crash. Turned off the phone and the back on but still no go. My opinion is that this is not worth the your time. Going to look for something that actually works.

Garbage. Could open it, get it to be recognized by whatever item I was trying it on, would ALWAYS crash as it connected. Could have worked on a small part of the plan to cure cancer or fixed my mower, hell I could've sat on the toilet and done some business, any of those things would've been better than the waste of time I spent on this app. Might work one day, from what I read it used to, but I'll never know.

Great idea but please Update!!!. Can you update the display screen so when I play music the album cover is on the TV also when I start a playlist it only plays one song at a time.

Freezing. Could veiw photos ok but watching a one minute long video just said buffering ..after 20 minutes of buffering I closed app .. disconnected from wifi ..and my tv is frozen...had to go to box on tv and reset it ..turning tv and box off and back on wouldn't do anything. Really ?

Ripped off...... Access to local network files has been removed from imediashare HD (flips) and replaced by this app complete with ADVERTS that we paid to have removed in imediashare HD. Very bad behaviour. Split a paid for app into two separate apps and reintroduce ads. Shameful!

Crashing with Camera Roll Videos. When opening the Camera Roll folder it crashes instantly everytime. But manages to open other folders just fine. This is on my IPhone 6s plus

Complete Rubbish. What it says in the title. Doesn’t recognise the device it is on, let alone others. No help menu.

Brilliant App!!!. I tried about 5 other apps to stream stuff from my iPhone 5s to my Samsung Smart TV and none of them worked properly. iMediaShare worked first go. All I had to do was select my TV and then select what I wanted to play. Well done Flipps!!

Craptastic!. Great for photos but if you are trying to play a video any longer than 20 seconds, buffering, buffering and more buffering!

Good App. I like this app, it streams nicely to my tv, LG SMART TV. There's 2 little things that I reckon would make this app better. 1. Allow for a quick selection, a button to select the whole album or playlist while in MY MUSIC. 2. Restrict the app or phone from going to sleep, so it never cuts out. Or make it so it runs in the background, that would be handy :) Cheers

Crashes every time photos and videos. Attempting to use from iPhone 6s to Sony Bravia. It crashes a few seconds into playing video and immediately when attempting to display photo.

Music albums/playlist issue. This app does do what it says... BUT... playing music from your iTunes albums and playlists do not play in order. So if you select all tracks from an album or playlist imediashare will play them in an order which only it understands. Even if you select just more than one track to play again imediashare will make up its own mind about which order to play them. Please Fix This Annoying Problem!!!

It don’t work!. It doesn’t work my photos don’t get put on it and I get stuck with placeholder images

Crashes. Opening Camera roll videos causes this new version to crash every time on iPhone 6s.

Don't buy this. This app is ok but for one device at a time . Arcmc is the app to buy , I have all my movies etc on a central wireless hdd and can stream using arcmc to all my computers to both led tvs samsung and do it all at the same time , yes the computers need cyber link 13 installed but it's 100 times better than this app and more. Also is paid money for this app being told no ads , well there's ads now on every page unless you spend more money on there flipps hd app which costs more money and is the number one flop of all time (totally useless) please arcmc it and you will never look back . Happy days

imediashare cause server access to stop running. Tried downloading it on my iPad. Causes wifi to cease functioning on my iPad every time. Tried deleting and reloading several times but the same failure results every time. Not worth the time to download.

Works great with my Xbox One.. For anyone who doesn't know how to work it with Xbox One, make sure you have the necessary xbox music or xbox video apps downloaded, my xbox didn't show up on the networks for music until I had downloaded Xbox Music. Now it works flawlessly.

Adding songs not intuitive. A simple task of adding a playlist already in ones itunes is made difficult by this program. Connects to tv fine.

Useless. This thing did not even see my 4K tv. And I am not making any adjustments so media share can access my iPad content through my tv. That sounds a bit sketchy.

Amazing. I use this on my iphone5c and my samsung note2 with my xbox360 and my ps3. This app is amazing it does exactly what its supposed to and the interface is smooth AF! Defanatly something to chek out if you have movie box/show box installed! 👌👌👌

Music crashes after 5min or so. App is ok but the interface is pretty dated, music app functionality is very limited, and the app crashes during music streaming to Xbox One (music stops, needs to reconnect, forgets what you were previously playing).

Very good, but could be better!. Overall, I like this app. It was quite straight forward to hook up to my Samsung TV and the photos and music seem to work fine. I would like to see a way to select my own music to play during the slideshow, and I would like to see a better way to find my photos than to scroll through every album I have.

All Hype No Substance. According to the website it should discover all my media, players, and network automagically. Well, I opened the app and it shows a bunch of empty folders. It knows nothing about anything on my iPad (music or videos). When I click on the network it says not connected (how do they think I download their app - duh). It has no clue about playable devices even though every other media aware device in my house does. Online help is useless, since their premise is that it will just happen. EPIC FAIL.

Very easy to use but needs update. I have an LG smart TV connected do an old sound system. I wanted to play music directly off my Iphone and through my connected Dolby 5.1 sound system. I downloaded this app and it worked great. My TV was immediately recognized and I was able to play the music directly from my iphone. The only weakness to this app is that it does not play the list in order. It plays the list as a shuffle. I put these songs in a specific order in each playlist and really would like the app to play the list that way. If it did this it would get 5 stars for ease of use and ease of setup.

Update Crashes on iOS 8.1. Latest update crashes 10 times out of 10 - fix this for better rating.

Broken app.. This works less than a beta app. Shouldn’t be in an App Store if it hardly works.

Brutal. Worst app ever does not work at all after several tries and keeps booting my iPad off of the wifi connection,Complete waste of my time!

Static instead of music. Connects to tv fine but can't play music (just static), crashes when trying to open video or picture folder, even after Faq consulted.

Feedback!!!!!. The app works great. But, since i got my new IPhone it doesn't load the image on my tv. I think the issue is my phone shoots 4k and my tv is only 1080p. Please fix this issue asap if possible, would be greatly appreciated.

Yes!! Finally!!. Maaan I have tried out numerous apps to do this with my xbox1 & Mac & this is the only one that did its job & immediately! Kno haveing to download this & that .. just straight to the point. I was & still am confused on how it connected instantly but I ain’t complaining 🤷🏻‍♂️ plus the quality is clear as day. All the others I tried turned out fuzzy & unwatchable. I thank you 🙌🏻

Useless app. After spending more than an hour buying a movie from iTunes and downloading it, downloading this app, syncing it to the in-room TV, etc... To discover that it WON'T actually play videos you have bought, but only the home movies you make yourself, make this app totally useless and misleading. Not impressed at all, guys!

Can't detect iPad photos or videos. Although Flipps TV works fine, iMediaShare does not detect my iOS 9 iPad Camera Roll Photos or Videos, just says "no results found" when tapping photos or videos. It can detect My Music, but that's it, No photos or videos. Hopefully, the glitch will be fixed soon, presently it sux totally for iPad photos and videos. Any others find the same problem with an iPad running iOS 9?

I don’t know how to use this app. I tried viewing photos from my iPhone to the ps3 and doesn’t work it keeps saying error and then the app doesn’t even tell you how to use it

If it doesn't work opening for first time... why bother. This app would not discover any device on my network via DLNA as other apps do. If it doesn't work from the get go, then why bother.

Hopelessly Useless.... It works 2-3 times before having to delete and redownload? I've deleted it for the last time today.

Closes on its on.. The app is fully functional but the app closes out on its own. I use the app to sync music with my smart tv and I'm only able to get one or two song out before it closes out on me.

Don’t buy this app!. The app decides to work for a minute or 2 then it shuts off! Every time I turn it to a different song it has me log out of my game to go to the app. It’s quite possibly the worst app I’ve ever used.

Absolute garbage. Downloaded this to share my photos from my iPhone 6 to my parents Samsung smart tv to show vacation pics but the app would crash each time I accessed my photo roll. Waste of time. Don't use this app!

Couldn’t connect to Sony tv. Had the mirroring screen up on my tv and both are connected to my WiFi yet the app couldn’t find anything. Doesn’t work

Not that great. IMediaShare can’t access most of my photos and cannot seem to play songs consecutively in playlists. It does allow me to display some of my photos on the Sony smart TV but as I said...

Never Worked. Tried with my new iPhone 7 and will not load my camera roll. Only gets about 40% then the app crashes.

Needs attention. Used to work great about a year ago. Now the app crashes repeatedly and won't work whatsoever. Don't know if it's the app or iOS. Regardless, it just doesn't work right now.

Songs to ps4. IMediaShare wouldn’t work properly on my iPhone or ps4. Tried deleting and reinstalling still didn’t work. I gave one star because you can’t choose no stars. Poor app.

Honestly. I love the app it makes my life a bliss but after the update i can't fast forward it plus it freezes and crashes all the time please fix

Useless if you use iCloud!!. You cannot stream any of your photos or videos if they are stored in the cloud. So what good is this app? Does anyone not use iCloud? Very disappointed. 👎

Zero stars. Really lame excuse for app. Amazing that Apple lets poor quality apps like this in the store. Can't see any albums imported via iTunes. What's even more amazing is the culture of arrogance at Apple that their devices need Apple TV to screen mirror.

Lasted only 5 minutes on my phone. Wanted to mirror to my Samsung TV. It crashed 3 times in five minutes and didn't have intuitive interface. Already deleted.

Worst App I ever downloaded. Did everything it told me too and I still can't get my music on my PlayStation 3 but I apparently I can download videos that I recorded with my phone. It might work for someone else but for me this app is completely useless.

Has potential. Would be great if it worked. Connected to PS4 media app but unstable, unusable. Was able to see pictures but crashes when attempting to open video.

Ruined. This app use to work fine requiring only a bluetuth connection, but for some reason now it has to access an internet connection in order to function.

Stealing data?. What the heck? I installed the app and the first thing it does is paste from my clipboard (thanks iOS 14 for the warning).

Crashes when preparing the list of photos.. If it can't read through a photo library of a few thousand photos, it appears to force some preparation before it can work. Basically another flawed app with high hopes.

Crashing a lot. A sorely needed app on iOS but it's constantly crashing on my 6s plus after the last update. Also the add the plays when it opens is just brutal

Used to work great.... Before they updated this app it worked great. Now, I get to watch the ads before I click on "play video" right before I watch it crash completely. Please fix!!

Useless app. Useless for playing videos. App crashes and the phone returns to home screen every time I tried to load videos. Deleted the app in 10 mins.

The worst!!!. Had to unplug my tv to get my remote to work. The only setting that is functional is sign in with Facebook!! Once my music was loaded in the app no longer worked in any way. I felt like I was pirated. DONT DOWNLOAD!!!

Can't play games. I wanted to use this app to listen to music while I'm playing games but while I'm streaming the music if I try to do anything else it shuts down the music

Absolute crap. This app does not even work at all I cannot play video from my phone and the ads display over the screen making it difficult to operate

?!. When I try to play it on my Xbox 360 it says player is buffering. And it won't stop saying that and when it does the video is choppy on the Xbox and it says playback error please fix this!!

Not worth it. Just mount your phone on the wall. This app is complete garbage, if it’s not crashing, it’s not reading anything period. Please take this off the market.
