Apparently it’s been terrible for years. I suppose no one at the DDS actually cares about reviews, feedback, or their app actually working. I’ve had the same issue that most of the other reviews state going back several years: I cannot get logged in due to the “session expired” notice a mere 5 seconds after I attempt to change my password. It’s impossible to log into the app or the website…therefore, it’s useless. Now I’ll be taking a trip to the tag office to handle my business in person. Oh joy.

Don’t waste your time. As usual the DDS has made it as difficult as possible to do anything with them. This app is a joke. I made an account (after Jan 18), I got my confirmation email, followed all the steps, tried to log in. It told me to “log in” to my E-services account, so I could enter 2 form of identification. Why didn’t they ask for that when I was setting up the account in the first place. When I looked up E- services it was just a FAQ page. Under “can’t log in” it told me if it was after Jan 18th I had to make a new account. That’s it, no alternative explanation... so just go in and stand in line for hours, this app is going to get you now where.

Useless App. Since the update of this app, I have to recreate my account every time I choose to sign in. It appears as if the app is taking me to a different platform that is capturing my login information providing me access. However the old platform that appears to have been discontinued is what I have to use to login. This process is a continuous loop of recreating your profile every time. I would not recommend this app or it’s developers (and any other apps they produce) for use.

Don’t bother.. you will save years in premature aging. This “app” should be removed, it’s horrible and very glitchy and just should really get no stars. It’s literally useless. It’s nothing more than a “browser” masked as an app and Apple has allowed this horrible “app” to be made available for users. You rotate your device and the “app” turns but then all text/images distorted. You fill in fields and click continue only to be booted back to same previous screen minus all the data you just filled in. I mean someone anyone a toddler could have used this app 1 time and sent out the sos as the issues are that much in your face so I can only assume the developer was like “good to go!!!” Wink wink

No problems. I’m not sure what other people are talking about but I’m not having any issues with it. Great app.

“Session has expired”. I can’t even sign up on this… it keeps rerouting me back to the website saying “your session has expired”when it has literally been at least 10 secs… It barely gave me any time to sign up. Like, at all. I was literally on the first part, which is typing in my id. Apparently these problems have been going on for the longest. Why has it not been fixed yet???

Nightmare.. I went through the signup process several months ago. It was long, glitchy and cumbersome. But then I finally made it! Woo hoo, home free. Then months later my fingerprint stopped working and the app said in January they did an update and I would have to re-create my account. Yikes, here we go again. If last time was glitchy and cumbersome, this time is a nightmare. So many glitches and barriers I still haven’t made it back into my own account despite giving all requested information. Right now I’m blocked due to not having 2 factor authentication but the sign up process didn’t attempt to setup 2 factor auth? Why make this process so convoluted? I don’t even know where to go to do that since I am denied access to my account until I set it up. Rename DDS 2 NO

Glitchy. I’ll try and make an appointment for my driver’s test and it won’t let me click the times that are available and then once I can actually click one of them it won’t let me click the next button. It will just keep refreshing then putting me back at the top of the page. It is so annoying. I’ve been trying to make my appointment for days now because i’m never home during working hours to be able to call.

Easy. I was a little skeptical based on other reviewers comments, but I had no problems with this app. I used it to change my address. Once I set up my account, the address change process took about 10 minutes. So much faster and more convenient than taking a trip to the DMV

Absolute Trash. I wasn’t able to renew my tag via the browser or via the mobile app. I see multiple charges on my bank transactions but yet their service still says can’t be processed. Government incompetence is all at all time high. Customer Service was equally abysmal. Absolute trash like most of the government.

Many glitches. I have had to make multiple attempts to get this app to work. Through these multiple attempts I tried paying for a replacement license...I got an error that the payment failed and that the transaction wouldn’t show on my bank account...well...guess what...since I tried three times...I now have three transactions on my bank account. Way to go GA DDS...this is a major fail. I will be calling the customer service line...but not until I have an hour to kill waiting to talk to someone who will likely tell me to just come into the office anyway.

Works Fine. I didn’t get any glitches or frustrating stuff from this app. I just renewed my license and it worked just fine. There were some kinda long loading and buffering screens here and there but other than that, can’t really complain. Took me about 30 mins tops to make an account and renew my license. Definitely beats going up to the office ✌🏾

I’m embarrassed for the GA DDS... As a government related application that facilitates processes for important document work, this app is absolutely AWFUL. The interface is awful, glitchy and hard to navigate. The point of an app is to make it easier for the person requesting the service, as well as the workers who work at the DDS (less people to deal with at the DDS). Aren’t y’all embarrassed? This is the best y’all can do? As a person versed in UX/UI..it’s comical that this the best that could be mustered. Hire me or hire someone that can help y’all with this mess of an app. Come on now! GA gov’t programs is better than this...this app represents y’all’s facility!

Literally Doesn’t Work. Why do I have to use this dumb app to change my address?? It used to be on the website and worked fine, but it literally will not let me change my address on the app. Always says some error has occurred. Multiple people have had this problem as well.

Garbage. Don’t bother. Utterly laughable.. I think my kids could have written a better app. There’s not much point in advertising all the wonderful aspects about this app because you can’t get pass the 2FA race condition that clearly exists. There is a reason why only 670+ downloads have been recorded. I wonder how many of those 670 installs deleted the app within 1 hour of installing it. I say an hour because I was only will to invest (waste) an hour. I’ll just stick with the web based version.

Oh my goodness. Terrible.. The positive reviews here must either be from: 1. Employees whose jobs are in jeopardy and so they make a good review to try to save themselves 2. The app developers who are rightfully in danger of losing their cushy government contract so they make a good review to try to save themselves 3. Someone whose only goal was to see existing information 4. People who do not actually have cell phones - but maybe are paid to make reviews. I have one goal. Change my address. I have read the instructions - and am confident I would be able to follow them if the option existed. On the "Services" tab - there is NO option to change my address. Clicking all of the other options is not helpful. If I try to search "address change" in the app - it just redirects me to....the website. The website also does not offer the option to change address. Gee golly. This is awful.

Too many notifications.. Oh my gosh, so many notifications. No, I don’t need a notification every time a DDS center is closing for a three day weekend. It was useful to have the info readily available on the app, but not worth it if they constantly send notifications to you EVERY other week. Save your time and just visit the site...

Reset password needs to be fixed. I keep trying to reset my password and every time I click the forgot email/password button it would say session has expired so I would have to keep clicking it over and over until I get the page where I have to put my email o ce I do that and submit it then a screen would pop up saying session has expired I would have to go through this over and over until I get a page telling that an email has been sent to you and once I get the email and to go the page I’ll put my new password in and submit it and then the page telling me your session has expired. I would have to copy my email and copy my password hoping I can get through to get a new password but the session expires to quickly. Everything else on the app is great besides the forgot email/password button it use to work perfectly now it doesn’t.

annoying. It doesn’t let me input my birthday, what’s the point of the app if you have to be a certain age to use it, if you can get a permit at 15 you should be able to active and create an account regardless of age. i only tried to get it to contact them for questions but the dds is so unnecessarily hard to contact i barely even want the license anymore

Cannot retrieve password.. This app is terrible. I’m unable to sign in at all just keeps reloading the login page. Tried to retrieve my password as well thinking I possibly put it in wrong only to find that page also just reloads with no end in sight. Quite possibly the worst app I’ve ever used. Back to the drawing board. DDS get your money back from whomever built this terrible app. Just awful

Why does this exist. I wish I could cuss on here but im going to try and say this in the meanest way possible without going too crazy… so I make an account to replace my license and it sends a confirmation email all that stuff. So why when I try to login it says error 6 whole times and my account is locked when you literally gave me a confirmation? This is just one of the bad things Georgia has to offer especially with their stupid driving services giving anyone licenses. Hate this place lol

Useless “app”. There is absolutely no point in using this app, it directs you right back to the original website which switches back over to the “app” over and over again. It’s super annoying trying to deal with it. I’d rather just go to the office and save myself the headache.

Yep, government at its finest.. This is what happens when there is govt worker job security, no downside for bad performance, and no private market incentive to make things work correctly in a user friendly way. A complete, unusable nightmare. If you don’t mind wasting time, go ahead and download and just try to set up 2FA. And some folks want to empower government to take control of healthcare and even more critical facets of our lives….

HORRIBLE!!. I downloaded this app in order to update my address and everything went smooth. Since then I have tried to log back in to make sure everything went through and it just says “error” when I try to log in. Yes my information is correct because I go online and I get in just fine.

Does not work. This app is very frustrating! I keep trying to reset my password and cannot get to the correct link. I am repeatedly sent back to the sign-in page. I have tried emailing and received no responses. I also tried calling to get assistance and my calls are disconnected every time I am put in the queue for the “next representative”.

Don’t waste your time. It is a total and complete waste of time you spend 30 minutes on getting through the multiple glitchy screens after being kicked out multiple time to be told to go to the DMV. It’s ridiculous since I only tried this since they mailed me the information to renew online!!!! Seriously don’t waste your time.

An attempt at a secure and useful app.. Probably secure because it is so hard to get through the glitchy sign-up and menus with bad pointers. So far, the app will not use SMS for 2 factor I’d because it crashes when attempting to allow me to enter a phone number. It is also hypersensitive to more than one instance of the app being in memory and for all glitches it defaults to shutting down and requiring a complete do over. This could have been so cool if someone who knew how to develop and debug apps had been involved. As is, I will probably never use it.

Lost License, but have to put in ID info to sign up?. I lost my license so I went to the website to see what to do, it says to fill out a form in this app. So I download it and start to sign up, the only was to get in is to put in all the info on my license… HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO PUT THAT IN IF I DONT HAVE MY LICENSE?!? And there’s no way around it, so idk what to do. Guess I’ll just have to go in-person, yay…😐

Simple Functions are wrong. You can only update your address on this app. Too bad that function is broke. If you click on it it will ask you select a Renewal. And even if you clicked it to see if it was error, the continue button won’t work. App is buggy and not easy to use.

This app has too many bugs. You can’t even get anything done. Every time I click on a screen I get an error message. This app makes it impossible to pay any fines, or receive any documents you may need for your license to be reinstated. It’s completely useless

so frustrating!. This app is so frustrating. It does not work properly. Our government needs to do something better for this service. This app is absolutely ridiculous when it comes to efficiency. Nothing works correctly and it is so aggravating to try to fill out different forms and such on the app. it is ridiculous that we pay for services like this through taxes and then the services don’t even work properly. It is so annoying to see that we pay taxes for an app and all theses services that don’t even work correctly when you go to use it. Such a waste of money. It makes me so angry!!

Mess. Complete mess, glitchy and does not work AT ALL. As soon as I open the app, an error message pops up and won’t go away. I can’t do anything...can’t get past this error message. They need to update and upgrade this app, it could be so convenient and save so many people time and energy if it just actually worked

Limited Services Menu. The sample screen menu of services does not match what I actually get to choose from. For example there is no option to change address

App not working. Trying to change my address as we just moved, the app to me to almost the last page where it asked if I wanted to change or renew. I click on change address "no fee" option and try to click on submit/continue and it will not move to the next page and submit.

😑I hate you. To whoever or whom ever created this app, I hate you. Whomever runs it, I hate you. You are a bad, bad person. Or people. I’ve been struggling with the GA DDS website, trying to renew my driver’s license. Finally, I’m told, just kidding! Download this app to renew your driver’s license! I do so...and the app rerouted...REROUTED ME BACK TO THE WEBSITE. WHY DOES THIS APP EXIST?! ONLY TO TELL PEOPLE TO GO BACK TO THE WEBSITE DURRRRRRRRRR?! I hate you. And I wish nothing but the worst for you.

This app is useless. session expired glitch. I’ve tried it on 2 different phones and a laptop. Both the website and the app say session expired every 15-30 seconds and make you restart. You literally can’t accomplish anything at all. I’m going to have to take off work to go in person because it doesn’t work. Obviously it’s not just me it doesn’t work for since it has less than 2 stars. Pathetic. Why does it even exist?

Great app!. This app makes it so easy to check my driving record. It sends you notifications whenever something changes. Great job DDS!

Worthless App. Trying to update my address online. However, the app will not allow me to click ‘continue’ to move forward in the process. Also, the app keeps freezing up and I am having to uninstall and reinstall....still unable to use the online service that I need...A complete waste of my time 🤬

Just like most government products: it doesn’t work. Tried signing in to renew my license and it just pops up a blank error box. Assumed my password was wrong and after I reset it, it still popped up the blank error box. Learned how to program and implement this sort of login functionality with a single google search.

👎. Well, I don’t have a driver's license I don't drive I only have a ID. So I can’t make an account. I lost my ID and I was trying to get a new one through the app. To make an account you need your ID number I have my ID number. But you also need your number from your drivers license and your class. I don’t have a drivers license. So I can’t make an account.

Horrendous App. You have to type the same info repeatedly and then switch to email for codes over and over. I get the security need but my bank app isn’t even this bad. Also, what is the purpose of logging in as a guest if you can’t do anything on the app??? After filling out 15 minutes worth of info, I was finally able to renew my license. It’s ridiculous.

Not Bad At All !!. Take your time, have the requested information in front of you and type carefully. Have access to the internet, your emails and the internet.., you should be able to get done what is explained you can do. It’s not bad at all... Go slowly!

Complete disaster. First off, why is an official government agency app even having ads? It is embarrassing. Since the last update, it started retiring out everywhere and every page shows a different error message. On top of that, it still only supports TouchID (no FaceID) and its features are extremely limited. Funny and sad thing is the password recovery process that, instead of sending you an email like any other service does, asks questions that if you forgot there’s no other way to regain access to your account (without considering that that’s totally unsafe as they can also be guessed by people knowing you!). Complete disaster.

Terrible app. This app is terrible i can’t even login on the first open of the app without it saying “oops try again something went wrong” how is anybody supposed to get the Drivers license or ID info if the terrible app won’t even let you login then y’all don’t even wanna answer the customer service line

Easy to use. The text is small and can not be zoomed in; this app is pretty much just a poorly made web browser. That being said, I renewed my license in only a few minutes. It functions as intended and is much more convenient than a trip to the Department.

Meh. The app keeps saying I need to enable cookies. I literally can not click on or do anything within the app because that error message keeps popping up whenever I do. I don’t get what the problem is. It’s really annoying. The app was convenient at first until this unnecessary and problematic change. Hope it gets fixed soon. Or am I doing something wrong?!

always a bad experience. Not only does the actual DDS provide a really crappy experience. But so does this app. I feel like the DDS goes out of its way to make sure everyone leaves in a worse mood than they came in with. It’s like they take pride in making sure you have an awful experience either in person or through the app.

Hard to use. On my iPhone mini it was very hard to fill out the application. Make the app more phone friendly for field entry or use the camera to capture data from the license. Never got my email saying my application was approved. Using on PC with browser is far superior

HORRIBLE APP THAT GLITCHES. It’s horrible and doesn’t work properly. I have to delete the app and redownload just to get through signing in and even then it STILL doesn’t work all you see are error messages until the app just doesn’t let you even fully open the app 😡😡😡

Waste of time. Does NOTHING. Tried to change my address. After going through the whole thing answering a lot of questions, it just sits there and spins. For hours. I’m not doing it again. I tried to do what I was supposed to do and it didn’t work. Not my problem. Fix it, or get rid of it.

Horrible. This is a horrible app literally no maintenance at all for a government app it is awful. I only ever had one good experience all the other times it loads in and doesn’t let me click any other tab also no it just says error every time I try to log in

Outdated. The app is great to get information and order things but it is outdated. Needs to add face login since the technology has been out over a year. They updated it 3 months ago and guess forgot about it.

Really bad. Like REALLY.. This app is quite bad. Trying to log in will make you want to throw your phone at a wall. The interface is horrible & trying to verify your identity NEVER works. I’m uninstalling until Ga DDS can get it working better.

App and website are garbage. I cannot pay, it times out on the website and the app does not provide the document I paid for but a useless screen shot. I have tried to buy this 3 year driving history about 18 times. Garbage, just like the rest of Georgia government offices.

Useless. I am not one who usually does reviews. This app was so absolutely useless I just had to this time. Every time I try to type something to create the account it gives me an error message and kicks me out. It does not even deserve one star. Should have expected nothing less from a government agency.

Great access/poor performance. It is great to have access to this information on an app. But it keeps crashing. I also can’t copy/paste my password and that’s frustrating.

Works. Works for me. Pretty cool to have all this info without needing to go to dds or needing them to be open

Tax payers taken. I have not been into the app yet but setting it up was awful. I told me I needed both upper case, lower case, number and special character. I had all of that and had to re-input 3 times. Then there were other glitches. I figure this system cost us tax payers dearly and as usual we were taken advantage of.

Glitchy and riddled with Ads. Too many problems logging in with my password, crashes, shows stupid ads that are distracting and irrelevant. Doesn’t provide useful information and doesn’t deny the fact that the DDS is slow and inefficient. This app merely matches their reputation.

Please fix this bug!. You cannot press “continue” on the address change if you select that you ARE a US citizen. It will only let you continue if you select that you aren’t a US citizen.

Installed twice but won't open. When the app opens I get an error on the Terms Agree page. I click to clear the error, and the page refreshes to the same error page. I deleted the app and installed it again with the same results.

Clunky, difficult to use app. Obviously written by government bureaucrats, this clunky app locks you out before you can even sign up. The scrolling date interface looks like something built in 1992 in WordPerfect to go on a MySpace webpage. Fail.

Needs some bugs fixed. I reserved an appointment and it showed this error message continuously after I submitted it. I have also refreshed the app and yet it still shows the error. I’m not sure what to do.

Seriously. Y’all need to fix your sign up access. Everytime I start it redirects me to saying session expired while I’m literally typing. I already had an account but it said it was update and I would need to renew. I’m just trying too find out my road test appointment date and time.

wish 0 stars was an option. DDS web site claims IDs can be replaced via the app. Outright lie. Not an option and the app is horrible. It links to the web site as if you're browsing then none of the links work. How it could be this poorly designed is mind-boggling.

Good planning.. Well they app sounds like it could be of use. But will not let me even create an account at this time. So good thought behind the idea. Poor execution on who is running this show. Maybe I’ll try later. But as of now it was a complete waist of time. Kinda like standing in line at the dmv.

Very unprofessional app. As an app for public services, the app is horribly made wrong. Forms on the app doesn’t handle validations which will make people so lost when they put something wrong in the form. Even though everything was input correctly, it tells the user nothing about what was wrong. It’s like an app that beginners make

Worthless and a big joke. Just created my account to save me time and get an appointment, however the password I selected a second back doesn’t work ...so I pressed forgot password they sent me a temp password it that doesn’t work either.....this app is nothing but a big joke....

Glitchy. It not even working

Feels just like you’re working with a DDS employee. App will eventually get the job done after several attempts. Don’t make any mistakes because editing the fields will cause you to scream internally and externally. Aligns with expectations at the physical location.

This app is TERRIBLE. This app has to be the worse app ever made, my little 3 year old niece could make a better more functional app than this garbage. It’s good for nothing expect taking space from my phone. Whoever made this app should be fired.

Bad. When I first download the app, it work perfect. Now that did a “new version” I am unable to login. When I go look at it under my App Store it shows I have the new version of the app but when I go to login in I get a message stating I need the “New Version.” I unhappy with this change.

Doesn’t Work. This app doesn’t let me login at times and web it lets me log in it won’t let me click on anything! I got a notification saying “DDS has important message “ and when i click on it it won’t let me login. This app is terrible it needs an update fast

Glitchy mess. The app claims you can change your address but you cannot. This app needs a fix and reworking it is absolutely trash and so is the website. Both have an abundance of issues. This needs to be fixed!!!

Problems. It says I don’t have online services available? But I’m connected to the internet. All this is for is to tell you to go to the place yourself and try to get something done there with their terrible customer service.

App doesn’t work !. You can’t even create an account without it saying “oops something went wrong ! Try again later .” . Literally EVERY TIME I try to sing up a minute into putting in my information a big sign pops up which then takes me all the way back to the home screen . App needs A LOT of fixing .

Garbage. My 10 year old daughter could make a better app than this garage. Why are there even ads if they don’t get enough money ripping people off. Trying to renew my license . Put all my card information in and no where to submit it. This app is complete trash

What’s the point. I honestly do not know what’s the point of this app. I cannot order a new license, only an ID when it states that you can change address for lost stolen license. U still have to go to the service center I thought this was supposed to be simple. It’s clearly a waste of time

Just as bad as the real DDS. This was just as frustrating as the real thing. Couldn’t type in half of the lines and let me get to the end before telling me I needed to go to the office. Thanks for wasting 30 mins of my life!!

Doesn’t work. Tried to make an account says it already existed with that email, went back to login in with email and the app tells me that the account doesn’t exist!! Tried it with 2 different email addresses and the same thing happened.

Honestly just don’t get a Georgia license. These are the most incompetent people of run across in my life. Departments don’t talk to each other, they actually have no way of contacting internal departments. Customer service is beyond worthless. Just keep your previous state license. Better yet just don’t move to Georgia.

Nothing works. It’s funny how liberals want everything orchestrated by the government and they can’t even get an app to work properly. I think app is just to take up space, and have an extra icon on your phone. Creating account, setting appointments, nothing works.

Change of address. They have a screen of this but change of address feature is not listed or linked anywhere in the app. There are no clear links and instructions lead nowhere.

Completely Useless. I lost my license and was told to try the online app. Well it is useless because it will not even let me create a account at all. The DMV in person is stupid, but they made the app even worse some how. It’s like they purposely make it impossible to get what you need done.

Just use the website. It’s glitchy and obviously isn’t given the same care as the website. I’d recommend just using the web browser version.

Broken App. You can’t click on any links in the app, sign up and forgot password links don’t work. Of course state funded software development gets us a broken application, what a joke. Getting a link to work is like the first 10% of developing and it’s mostly done in HTML… super simple stuff

Never Ending. If you love entering the same information over and over and never getting anywhere, this is your app. It would have been much faster and healthier for me to have just gone down there in person to take care of it.
