I like the App.. I like how the App gives you a reminder to study, a choice if you want to see the rationales after the questions or after the test. I'm taking my CPC Exam in two days so I'll come back and review it again.

It’s OK. I really enjoyed this app, and thought I was doing well until I bought an actual practice test from AAPC. The questions on the app are far shorter and less detailed than the practice test. They take less time to answer, giving me a false hope on my time management. Great as a supplement, but don’t rely on this app as your main practice or study guide.

Love it!. I love this app, it has helped me a lot and I found a great tutor. However, the app freezes and is very slow to get to the next section ( for example if you want to take a practice exam it is very slow to set up ) You might want to look into that.

Free. I guess you get what you pay for. They give you the same questions over and over so you can upgrade.

Wooohoo passed!. Failed my first attempt. Studied with Pocket Prep CPC for the 2nd time, got an 80% !!!

Hopefully🤓. I stumbled upon this app and decided to purchase it. I have previously taken the "aapc" exam. However: I didn't pass. The exam is very intimidating. I don't know if this app will help but I certainly hope so. After using it for a short time I am starting to see repeat questions, isn't it supposed to be 300 questions ? ( more would be even better) The reason for the 4 stars is because of the repeat questions. Over all I like the app and would probably recommend it. So, I'll update after my exam. Wish me luck‼️🙏🏼 .

Test jitters relieved. I purchased the expanded version and I think it has relieved a lot jitters taking my exam in three days by practicing more which I didn't do the first two times taking the CPC. I look up more questions that I didn't know off hand and put them in my book so I won't forget.

Great Help. I think this has helped greatly in my studies. I like that there is an explanation and page listed where the information is found.

Not what I expected. Limited amount of questions. Questions are repeated over & over. Purchased this app hoping to get an opportunity to practice testing but it is very limited. :(((

Great app for preparing for the CPC Exam. The questions are challenging and realistic. You can work on your weak areas. The great thing is that you can improve your speed by using the timed exam feature. It's been very helpful!

Great help!. I was a little suspicious of all the good reviews for this app but it really is helpful! I just passed the CPC with an 84 on the first try after using this to study. It's a lot more affordable than the AAPC practice exams. I only bought one of those, but it wasn't as helpful because it didn't tip me off to the fact that there would be place of service questions on the exam- I didn't even know where to find those until I looked them up due to a question included in this app. I would have been clueless if they were sprung on me for the first time during the real exam. My only complaint is that a couple questions in here are outdated and refer to codes that are no longer accurate, but most of it is great and the rationale for each answer is super helpful. Well worth the money.

Pretty good. This app is good practice for the test. Especially when you upgrade and get access to all the questions. You have to pay 7 times the amount of this app for the AAPC practice tests to get the same number of questions (150). I do wish it had more anatomy, terminology and compliance questions on it, but overall it was really good practice and helped me to pass my exam on the first try.

Please, More Questions (500 not enough). BEST APP EVER!!! But....you're the only one (MAJOR MARKET for you!) This is the only app available that has the newest ICD 10, CPT codes, and HCPCS. All other apps are still using ICD 9 (not helpful; also same questions CPC APP offers (literary). CPC app is the only source education for people in the medical field already trying to advance. I myself am a medical biller (19 years experience) that works 8:30 to 5, Monday through Friday every day. I am positive that others would be willing to pay more for more questions. Solid supplement but not enough. The Q’s are easier than the actual exam or the AAPC practice exam Q’s. But it’s good as a supplement to those.

Credibility issues. I came across a question to where the rationale was wrong. Now I’m second guessing if all the rationales are like this after I’ve been using the app for over a month. My exam is in two weeks. I’ve stopped using it and not sure what to do about practice exams because I don’t trust them now. Update: I was told by the content manager that one rationale wrong out of 500 is pretty good. They corrected the rationale based off of what I told them, the student.

Very useful. I bought this app, and I love how I can customize my exams. I can pick how many questions I want on it, as well as what material. They also give very detailed answers and teach you how to look them up in the books. 100% worth it. I've learned so much already. Great tool

Not sure. I purchased upgrade, but I keep getting the same questions. I wanted to concentrate on Integumentary System so I kept testing myself. But they are always the same questions.

Passed the CPC using Pocket Prep. I used this everyday and went through all of the questions twice prior to my test. This app was one of the reasons I was able to pass in my first try!

Great!. I loved this app! I paid for the extended version(500 questions, customizable). I just took the CPC on 12/15 and happy to say that I passed! I also ordered 2 books but I did most of my studying off of this app. If you really want to pass this exam I suggest giving this a try

Day exam. I prefer to have a day exam for 50 question in one session

Perfect prep for the CPC exam!. I recently took and passed my CPC exam on the first attempt thanks to this app. No joke. The training course I took was helpful for understanding what coding is all about, but if you want to pass the CPC exam you have to practice testing for it. It's rigorous. 5 hours and 40 minutes long with no built in breaks. You can take a break if you want but the clock keeps ticking. There are 150 questions and it might seem like there's plenty of time for them, but if you do the math, you only get about 2 minutes per question. That's a quick pace to keep up for nearly 6 hours. I practiced with this app and I knew that if the real test questions were like the ones in the app I'd be ok. Great news! They're almost identical. The format is the same and the questions are worded similarly. If you can consistently do well testing with this app you should have no trouble with the real CPC exam. 5 stars, A+, this is the real deal!
