Terrible App!!!! DO NOT BUY!. Totally wasted my money and time with this camera and app. I literally just opened this product and tried to set it up but couldn’t get any further than the app! The app wouldn’t let me register so i had to try and look online how, then i tried to log in on the app and it wouldn’t even sign me in at all! Waste of time and money, I WANT MY MONEY BACK NOW! So sad i needed that camera so bad!

Absolutely awful. This app is useless, believe the rest of the reviews!!! I set up my camera just fine initially, but just recently moved and will not detect my camera for the life of me. I’ve tried OVER 20 different times to hook this thing up.... it is garbage. Also, the English translations are awful. If you’ve bought this camera, RETURN IT

Worthless, no customer service. The Camera worked well for while , 1 month! After which the pic became cloudy. Tried emailing the customer service contact, no response. There is not even a number to call!! Very frustrating! Someone is ripping people off!

Like and dislike. I was so excited to get the camera for Christmas to use in my nursery. But, half the time I can’t see the room because it keeps saying disconnected. I’ve gone so far as to manually reset everything (meaning getting on a chair to reset the camera, deleting the account, etc) multiple times to get it to work again. I don’t have the patience for this. I just want the darn thing to work!! 😤

Excellent software!!. Don’t know why all the bad reviews. Bought this camera to watch my dog at home while I’m at work. Works like a charm. I have an Apple phone and my husband a droid. No problems logging on or watching the dog. Can even see her breathing while she’s taking her afternoon nap. Night vision and motion sensor alerts work great!!! Using with Apeman 720p WiFi camera.

No support, difficult to use. There is no way to get help on this app. There does not seem to be any customer support at all.I don’t like writing bad reviews, but this app frustrates me badly. It logged me out for no reason, and then the password and user name and email I put in doesn’t work. It never asked me for a recovery email, but demands it now in order to reset my account. Now I have a couple cameras that I can’t even use. Unbelievable.

Works well and easy to setup. Registering was straightforward and the app lets you move the camera using gestures - very cool feature. It’s easy to view SD card recordings for certain dates and overall configuration is clear. Only comment I have is that it has trouble connecting through cellular on an iPhone 6 with T-mobile, hence forcing the need for WiFi. No issues with AT&T and iPhone 8. Wonder why.

Cannot login to app. Please help. Thanks.. I used app successfully for many years. But not recently. The app opens. My login and password are there but when I click on login nothing happens. I cannot login to app to access support. Can you please provide assistance. Thank you.

Solid system. I’ve used this app with 2 cameras for years. Does a good job with everything. We like it’s ability to pan and tilt the angle of view. In fact, my wish is to find out which cameras are natively compatible with EyeCloud so we can buy another and still use the same app. Any recommendations or website links with cameras supported by EyeCloud?

Fixed. If any out there have updated their ipad, then click on your camera app and go to your settings on camera and update the firmware. The update fixed mine as it had stopped working.

Privacy Risk. Originally a great camera and supporting application for the price. I’ve used it for 2+ years. Now a major privacy risk as the app requires unrestricted access to your phone’s location and use of all personal data to include browser history and social media.

Can’t hear out of the camera??. This app has been working amazingly since I bought our cameras. Just recently I can still hear from the app but we can not hear out of our camera. I upped the volume on the settings. I logged out and re-logged back in. I even rebooted the cameras. Help!!!

Does Not Connect. I’ve seen more of the “connecting” symbol than I’ve actually seen video. Plus I have a WIRED connection and it will still tell me the camera is “offline.” I get so frustrated using this app! Will be looking for another alternative, because it doesn’t work over 50% of the time.

Locked out!. Cameras are great! ......only when you can log in! The app has locked me out my password will not work and it would not lets me register an email! The app has recently been redone but still has issues! If they could fix these issues these cameras will be great

Always Says Offline. It’s been over a year and no updates, constantly says offline, so I have to delete account and start over again only to do it again a few times a month. It’s crazy that the last review was over a year ago... If this is so easy to plug and play, why am I unplugging and plugging back in monthly to connect.??? But when it does work it’s easy to use, you can hear well and talking is delayed but easy to navigate. The picture depends on your phone, but it’s clear, we use the WiFi vs hard wired and no on the USB card. But if you have a reason to use it. Over all 3 stars, but I’m thinking of going 2 stars as pretty soon, this will be thrown out and replaced with a better camera if nothing is done to improve the connectivity issue!

Unable to update. I have been trying for months to update the firmware for this app and am unable to. It hasn’t worked for our family for 4-5 months now. We use as a nanny cam and baby monitor. However when it’s working I love it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Horrible. Have not been able to work since last upgrade; camera constantly says “offline” no matter how many times I walk through the connection steps. Worse part is there is no support team! Would not recommend

I have tried everything. I deleted the camera in the app re-scanned it nothing, entered it in manually nothing, restarted my router nothing, tried wireless nothing, deleted the app nothing I don’t know what else to do I won’t connect when I try to check the camera. This camera and app really went downhill since we bought it. Just don’t buy it don’t waste your time.

App freezes up!!!. When viewing the live feed in horizontal mode on my IPhone 8, the app will freeze up. I have to restart my phone. However, since the screen is frozen it won’t let me just restart the phone immediately, it makes me hold down the button for a couple minutes in order to get the screen to unfreeze & phone to restart. It is SO FRUSTRATING!!! Every update you have done in 2020 has actually made this problem worse! The screen freezes up faster. Please fix this problem!

Totally useless. Had a hard time install. Would not work wirelessly had to hard connect to the network. Camera works fine now but only on WiFi. I won’t connect when on the internet!! Not much good if you can’t use the app and camera outside of your house!!

Good and bad. The camera is ok but the app is not so good. The picture is clear when in actual HD mode and the nite vision does a good job. Here is a list of issues that need to be fixed with the app. 1-Email doesn't bind for password(no email received and not in my junk folder) 2-Set to high resolution but when you leave app and go back in the pics blurry and even if it says high res you have to select it again to clear pic 3-When you leave app the camera will move from position you set it to and/or zoom in all the way for no reason and I have to reposition it 4-Audio is garbled when you talk 5-I changed the password and it took effect after about 5 minutes then reverted back to the old password that came with camera 6-The gesture lock I have set several times and it works once and then deselects itself. 7-When you go into local media to see where pics and videos are recorded locally(not on an sd card) it usually shows empty as I don't use this feature-however today throughout last night there are approx 30 videos that were recorded that I didn't do with different time stamps yet I can not view them...??? This really concerns me! ***problems now also it keeps forgetting password-says it’s incorrect and won’t let me connect unless I reset it over and over

Alerts. I use to get alerts all the time but they just stop, about 2 weeks ago when I bought the 12 months cloud storage. I don’t get any kind of notification and I don’t know how to even ask for a refund or how to get alerted again.

Rate change for better. They worked out some of the kinks and now the app and cameras work well together. No issues but giving it a four only because they don't have the ability to snap a pic or video when motion detection goes off. It would be really nice if it could do that. But overall great improvement! Are you able to tell who tried logging in?

Very easy to setup.. I just downloaded the app and connected my camera less two minutes.

Disappointing. This app could use some serious TLC. Very antiquated for 2018. The only positive was the price of the product. As the saying goes, “you get what you pay for!” Also, appletv access would be wonderful but isn’t offered to date.

Eye cloud. I like the app but I have a little issue with mine, I cannot upgrade it, is anyone has the same problem plz? I can’t set up the WiFi

Monitor classes. We have 14 of them. 10 are on one iPad and 4 are on another. The only negative is that we can’t put the camera views in the order we want. I want to see my 4 worst classes together so I can keep a closer eye on all 4 at once. But I cannot put them in the order I want.

Piece of junk.. Every so often, it asks me to log in and even if my password is correct, it would say that it is incorrect. Then I click the forget password and then give my retrieving email address. It would give me a link to change my password. But after my new password is confirmed, I still could not log in because it would say - Incorrect password. It’s a headache especially when I am not home. I’m sick of it and no more this kind of app and cameras. I’ll throw them to the garbage where they belong.

Won't work. I updated and now I can't access my camera. Beware... don't update! I guess you get what you pay for since this camera was on the cheaper end, but I seriously wish I hadn’t spent a dime on it, this is the second time an update has rendered the camera useless, and it’s a pretty ugly wall decoration.

Love it. These are great cams had them a few years and never had a problem with them at all great products

Doesn't Work Remotely Anymore!!. When I first got this, I could log in from work to see what was going on at home with the family but now, just recently, it continues to say I'm offline unless I'm home on the same network as the camera. Now I'm upset that I ever bought this camera!!

No technical support. I’ve been using this video camera okay for a couple of years until moved and the networked was changed. Could not figure out how to reconnect the camera or get it back online. There is no information how and whom to contact for technical support. If there is anyone, please help!

Used to be great. Used to work perfectly. Clear picture. Easy to use. Hard to move from house to house, just a hard reset each time works though. Now it suddenly crashes on me all the time! No idea why. Latest update maybe?

Worthless app.. only works when on local WiFi. Should have read reviews before ordering camera. Hardware itself if ok but it only works when you are connected to local WiFi where camera is install Rest all the time says “connecting” even in LTE network ..

Another Bad update. New update not working on ios 8.3 , freezes after 1-2 seconds . FIX IT !!!! Version 5.4.2 worked perfectly , but I can't download and save files from SD card When playing video from memory card we need playing speed selector normal / 3xslower

IP CAMERA APP. I rarely write bad reviews, but this app is worthless. The whole premise with obtaining a home security camera is that the phone app works. This phone app does not work unless you are on your homes WiFi that your camera is connected to. The app will not connect to your camera through any other WiFi or a cellular connection. Which makes purchasing a camera to keep track of your home when you are away from it useless. The camera appears to be a good camera but the app that powers it makes the camera useless.

Great. This is the best camera I’ve ever come across for the money, HD, you can watch 30 days of video, save videos, talk through the camera itself, I’ll keep buying these as long as they have them. Recommend this is everyone

Doesn’t work 80% of the time. This app constantly shows a blank camera image with the message “building an encrypted channel” and then the connection drops. Don’t waste your time

Works perfectly for me. Easy to set up and connect. Very stable and reliable. I watched the hurricane remotely last fall until we lost power but then it popped back on by itself when power was restored. Great snapshot and movie features. Set up a 2nd camera but only wish it allowed you to set up separate password access. Overall I have been very pleased.

Lost all connections. After the most recent update all of my connections have been removed, it won’t connect wirelessly or plugged in, I know my passwords it just keeps saying wireless connection is waiting then it says it failed. I’ve had this product for 1.5 years and it worked flawlessly until now.

Waited a while before doing a review.. Seems like every other time you update this APP something else goes wrong! There were a couple updates in there that if you would have just left it alone it would have worked great. NOPE! You had to go and change it again. This last update is the straw that broke the camels back for me, I’m done! I’m going to start looking for a different camera and APP that actually works when you need it to. You guys need to be consistent with the way this thing is supposed to work. Because every update it changes almost everything around and you have to learn how to use it on your own all over again. Like I said, I’m done! Stick a fork in me! Moving on to hopefully a better system. Bye!

Not as bad as the reviews imply. I am going to assume that bad reviews were due to previous versions of the app which had issues because the app works fine for me. A couple suggestions would be to add a motion detect feature and to improve the responsiveness. Having improved English translations would be nice as well. Overall, this is an affordable and easy to use camera/app. I would recommend to others.

Can’t recover password. I’ve tried every password I can think of and can’t log back in to my account. I hit forgot password and it keeps telling me that my email address isn’t registered as the recovery one. Well if I can’t get back into my account it’s pretty useless having this camera. Worked well when I was able to log in. Don’t know what I’m supposed to do now.

Keeps connecting. I bought this camera to be able to watch my dogs when I am away from the house but every time I try and use it wherever I am it says connecting and never connects. I can not be attached to WiFi everywhere I go and there is no WiFi at work. I need a solution to this problem.

Better Than Before. This app is better than it was a few months ago. It seems to be easier to connect the camera to WiFi now, and there are more features. Overall usage has improved, but it could be much better. A few headaches with this camera? It’s sometimes inconsistent in the way it works, and the English in the app is VERY broken - please, get a fluent English speaker to translate the app! Heck, I’ll do it. There are other things, but perhaps they’ve been fixed since the last time I used the camera; I’ll update soon. Initially, it took me 3 days to successfully set up the camera. Just now, it took me 5 minutes at my new house. Good job! Note to Developer: A really useful feature to add would be for it to record for 5-10 seconds or snap a picture every time it detects motion! Record and save to your phone when the motion detection is triggered. This would ensure that the camera cannot be compromised without catching who did it.

Can’t Register. Bought our son a camera for his room, and we can’t register in the app. Shows registration failed. Also, that’s the same thing the camera keeps saying “registration failed”. Going to have to return camera if we can’t get it to work with app. I’m already worried from the reviews I read if camera stops connecting after an update. Right now we can’t register to app!!

Can’t view remotely on iPhone via T-mobile carrier. App works great on WiFi, however, it can’t be viewed remotely on iPhone via T-mobile carrier. It works fine on Verizon carrier. Based on what I researched, T-mobile no longer supports iPV4 but iPV6 so I hope some days Eyeclound can fix this

Camera is good APP is JUNK. It constantly logs out and you have to log in again which is annoying. The delay waiting for cameras to connect while in the app is just awful. No Axlexa, google home, or ifttt integration. Please developers enable us to either use other apps or start to offer smart home features. This is essential in 2018

If you start while in horizontal orientation, you will not see the options in the lower-right corner of the video area that allow you to access the memory card. Future versions might be fixed?

IP Camera Offline!. Previous version works fine, no problem. New updates now completely disconnect all the cameras and now displayed as OFFLINE!

Poor product. Followed to manual exactly trying all suggested methods still could not get this product to work camera continued to say offline whenever I tried to connect manual wad also filled with inaccurate schematics and diagrams.

App won’t connect to wifi. All devices (doorbell)set up as per instructions but won’t find my wifi

Loose all cameras. When you upgrade to latest version you will loose your cameras, logging back in to your account will not restore the cameras. This is very bad because I now have gone back overseas to where I live and my holiday home I can no longer monitor from one of my devices. You have to be connected to the Local network, to attach the cameras again, this is horrible for me and anyone who is in the same position as me. Don't upgrade what ever you do unless you are local to your cameras

Junk. Paid for 2 months off cloud storage yesterday and now it won’t even let me go and check… every time I to go look at the motion detection it says I have a network error but the live feed works fine.. makes no sense

Windows. I’m trying to figure out how to use this from a web page anything besides my phone. It’s a windows computer just would like to see on larger screen. I have a older iPad as will but it won’t update to a version that is accepted. Someone please give me a hand.. thanks

Not working.. I can no longer review the motion detection. It brings my to the cloud which I paid for $6.99 in app purchase and it doesn’t work at all. No one to contact either. So not sure how to make it work. Still doesn’t work after trying multiple times.

Rrrcy. It does not work at all. Using it as a doorstop! No instructions. Using iPhone 6s Plus. Latest iOS. Wifi hotspot Plugged the thing in. It lights come on then go off. Nothing. CRAP

For those of you who are considering buying their product or already own their product, be aware the privacy issues where your information is shared with the Chinese government (due to the fact the company is owned by Chinese). If you want to know more then read their privacy agreement carefully.

Worked ok at first, then each updates got worse. With every update, I’m having more and more problems accessing my cameras. After today’s update, I cannot access the feeds at all. Where it was buggy and touchy before, now it’s competely broken. I get “timed off” messages, on all devices, and they never connect. Cameras are all updated and good. The app just can’t reach them for whatever reason. Time to find another app.

2 way talk not working. Unable to talk to my mother through camera since the last update a week ago. The speaker in her end is not working but works on my windows pc

My camera is not connecting. I try to erase my password and it won’t let me is asking for my password to reset my password??! I need help

Just horrible. What can I say. The app worked fine with my first camera. I then changed my WiFi password and since the camera stopped connecting with my WiFi due to the password change, I decided to try and delete my camera from it so I could start from scratch. The app would not let me delete my camera, so I uninstalled the app completely. When I went back to log in to the app with my account name and password, it just sits there forever spinning and never logs in. Then to add more insult, I tried to register with a new account name and password, and it keeps saying “register failed”. Needless to say, no response to the e-mails I have sent and no response to my forgotten password recovery request. As a result, I will be returning the cameras I purchased, not because of the cameras, they seem to work great, it is the app that doesn’t work at all like it should. Update to my review. After struggling with this app I figured out the issues at hand. Hope this helps: First of all if you are having trouble setting up the camera on the app and you keep getting the message “ setup failed”, this is because your WiFi has special characters on it. I found this out after I tried to configure my camera with another hot spot which had a WiFi password with no special characters. Secondly, if you are having trouble registering or logging in to the app after you have removed it this because your WiFi may be blocking you from doing this. Try getting of your WiFi and logging into it through regular cellular data. This worked for me as well and I was able to get into the app. While there are some security concerns with this method, it seems to be the only way to get around this if you already have cameras in place and happen to change the WiFi password like I did.

Good BUT. only works if you’re on WiFi which defeats the purpose. I didn’t have this issue when I was using it on my droid but now that I’ve switched to apple it won’t let me view using cellular data

So many problems. Constantly says it’s offline. Then it might work for a couple minutes and says it’s offline again. New update is causing the problems. Pretty useless right now.

Update removed data. Cameras won’t come online, asking for password now?? I never set a password.

Update deked cameras and reconnect results in off line condition. 28 September, update to 2.0 prevents app from opening, can you please fix and be more descriptive of bug fixes!!I get motion notices but will not connect to camera and the notifications come, unstoppable

Useless. I’m unable to use this if I’m away from home. I can’t just login to the app a view what triggered the motion detection without having to find a hotspot to login. Also, snap a picture and send to provided email once motion is detected.

Bad. This is the worst! Bought it a couple of years ago and soon replaced it because it kept disconnecting. Decided to add it ad a back up camera and same old problems...can’t even get it set up! Don’t bother!!! One star is too much!

EyeCloud. Like it. But I don’t understand the hr gaps. And I guess none a worth a dime if internet is cut off.

Some features don’t work. I got the camera all set up, but the motion detection feature does not work. It recorded 5 movements and then completely stopped.

Fix It!!. After recent update, it reset log in, password camera settings! And it won’t let me add cameras. Please fix it ASAP.

Apeman camera user. The camera is very good, but the software makes it completely useless. This app is junk and this makes both of my cameras junk!

SD card issues. This camera shows up great both in day and night. My main complaint is the app is clunky. It will show my recorded video one minute the next it will say no SD card detected. Extremely frustrating.

Notifications are gone. I use this as baby monitor and all the sudden all the notifications are gone and not working. I won’t know the baby cry until way later. Please help to fix this!!

It doesn’t work on LTE network. It will not work on LTE network only on 3G and 4G

No longer work with iOS 16 or later.. This app needs to be updated to work with iOS 16 or later. The app freezes as soon as you open it with iOS 16.

Camera installed. I installed multiple cameras in the house. One in the baby's room and one in bedroom where the baby will sleep for some times. I love the live watching of cameras. It allows me to listen and talk thru them. I do have to watch my signal strength when I go to talk! If phone or wifi signal is weak sounds from camera seam to be horrible and muffled, but when signal is strong the voice is great. I mounted camera to walls so panning left to right is a little off. Presets are great! IR feature is great! The power cord for the camera is only 4ft so had to buy extension cord for cameras. I have now changed the camera locations and mounted them to the ceiling after I found out how to invert the picture under the "camera management" section. I wish the motion detector would email or text when activated so you could look at the app, or record when it detected motion. I hope this helps. I will be buying more cameras myself!!!

Bad app but there is another one that works for this. This app, like all the bad reviews say is terrible... but there is good news! I found an app that does work instead of this one it’s called eye 4 and it’s free! I was so happy I didn’t completely waste my money!

Can’t Register. I cannot register to even use the app. I have tried to many times and it says failed. I will have to send back my camera because of this app and no support. I have a iPhone and should be no problem. -999 in black pops up also what is this?

App CLOSES. App closes when you click SD review option! Why did you mess up the app?!?!?! It’s no longer recording and app closes automatically. Very frustrating!

garbage app garbage cameras. worked for a while a year ago. now cannot get the cams added to the app any more. audio wifi connection strategy is low tech/ high fail. nothing but frustration. smashing cams with hammer to get some pleasure out of the waste of time and money.

Same as the EYE4 cameras. Impossible to set up The make it sound (and should be) so easy with only 3 steps......but these cameras REFUSE to connect. Save your money

??????Registration Failed?????. My wife purchased 2 Victure camera without seeking my approval of the cameras. I downloaded this app and cannot get past the registration process. I getting either -999 or a registration failed message. What is going on???
