Thank you. Would like to thank you for all the hard work and effort put into this app. It is totally awesome how Jehovah uses us imperfect humans in order to carry out his work of informing people of all languages of his purpose of bringing all his creation together as one happy family. As Revelations 4:11 aptly puts it-all glory and honor belongs to Jehovah. Yes, there are glitches in the program at times-such as the screen going black without reason (as if it is shutting down but not off). It is both on my iPhone and my iPad so is it the amount that I’ve downloaded them problem? I wish I could open the English and Sign at the same time. Maybe some day. Publication arrangement. Good day brothers and sisters. I can’t say enough about this wonderful provision of the JW Sign Language app and how I don’t miss carrying VHS tapes and then DVDs. This has opened up the ability to teach our students early on to prepare for their personal study, meetings and watch videos, movies at their leisure. Truly Jah has blessed your efforts. I have one question/comment, under books would it be possible to arrange the Bible Teach book at the top instead of the bottom pick list. In training our students through video chat/zoom/FaceTime etc it has been challenging getting the student to find the publication. Just wondering. Thank you again for all you do.

Lacking refinement and features.. I just reloaded iOS onto my iPad and needed to download all of the videos again. The app randomly crashes and frequently becomes unusable during this process. After restarting the app, the app will not open, it does not even get to the flash screen before crashing many times. My guess is that I am going to need to delete the entire app again in order for me to get the app functional (this has happened previously when I first set up the app.) If switching to another app and then trying to open JW Library again, I consistently see only a black screen and must force quit for it to work properly again. This is the only app out of 65 that I use that I see this problem with. App still has UI bug that has been present for many months. The pop-up menu at the bottom should disappear after a few seconds or when the video is one-finger tapped, but actually leaves a very visible and distracting grey box. The custom playlists do not allow for selecting anything other than a full chapter and won’t allow trimming. Also, playlists still do not support importing media. These features were present on third-party apps like Cienega almost 8 years ago. The songs take an inordinate amount of time to load. The load time is so exaggerated that students often press two or three times because they think the app is not responding. The extra touch inputs then interfere with the correct playback of the songs. Thank you for endeavoring to fix these issues.

Should be a great app in 2 or 3 years. Update August 19, 2019: I really have mixed feelings about this app. I know the app developers really did place 100% of effort into its design but my sole attempt to use it with a deaf person bombed big time. This app is for the lazy and spoiled wealthy deaf community. I intend to donate $50 for it before the end of this year. (---) I first downloaded this app about two years ago almost right after it came out. I was able to use it with a genuinely deaf guy who thought I was looking for a date and boyfriend. I then deleted this app and decided the only way I can use it is if I ever became half way decent at ASL and if I ever had access to high quality unlimited free wifi hotspots . At this time I have almost zero interest in learning ASL and even if I did learn it I would ignore the men and focus on the women. Can I make myself any more clear than this?

Too many bugs. Without a doubt, the work to bring this information to the deaf is commendable, but the app has too many errors. From time to time the app becomes unusable and has to be deleted, losing all the saved data and the lack of synchronization with iCloud makes the work very tedious. It is not possible to share playlists. The backup method is only usable for the most expert.

Desired Upgrades. Will there ever be a “Meetings” tab? Will we ever be able to stream in the app to avoid having to download since space tends to be very limited?

It’s GREAT!!!. love the playlist option and how we can customize the video. I wish we could share our playlist. This would be another awesome feature.

JW Library Sign Languages. This really awesome, help you understand clear. Who created this earth? Jehovah your God! I got a baptized in April 25, 2009 at Michigan Belleville Jehovah s Witnesses Assembly building. Jehovah created first Jesus Christ, that his son. Jehovah s son Jesus Christ.

Great job on latest update. Love the latest enhancements. Is there any possibility of making the apps available on Apple’s M1 platform?

Worldwide sign languages!. I love that the app has the option to change the language to different countries. This has helped me to prepare for my trip to the Philippines by watching Filipino Sign Language videos. Thank you so much!

Please consider the following suggestions for us to make better use of this app at congregation meetings: - Make a section where we can download meeting videos (for the week) - Allow for a camera mixing feature (with a camera input) - Allow us to access the meeting workbook’s photos so we can display them on corresponding parts If implemented; this app could replace everything else we use for congregation meetings for the video department. I love having this on my Mac 😄 thank you!. One minor problem: When I create a backup, the spinning/loading icon never goes away. That's not so bad if the backup is small. I can assume it's done quickly. But, if it's multiple gig, I don't know if it's finished. Also, would be nice if we could get a pop-up that says "backup successful" just as restore gives one that says "restore successful". Thanks again!

A Great App For Bible Study!. This app is so much easier than trying to gather all our study materials together on our own. I remember those days... clipping scriptures and downloading and converting and switching from one location to another. It saves so much time; we can now focus on our study. And it's beautiful! I know the constant change in technology is a real challenge to keep up with. And you have your own spirituality to keep up with. So I thank you so much for all your hard work!!!

Dark Mode. I would like to have the dark mode for this app. It can accommodate all people’s photophobia.

Recent Update. Recent update is absolutely phenomenal! Now I can add illustrations directly to the lesson playlist instead of toggling back and forth between apps. Thank you!

New Teaching Tool Box!. Thank you for the update and adding a home page with the teaching toolbox! This is what we’ve been waiting for. Excited to implement this in our ASL ministry!

Great but missing something..... This app is amazing and well organized! One big thing missing... well actually two. It would be more helpful to have a HOME tab, and a MEETINGS tab. This is a pretty big drawback and makes studying and favorites for ministry and prepare for meeting difficult.

Super Helpful but 1 issue.... This app has made watching videos and studying in ASL incredibly easy. Biggest issue is the black screen that shows when I first open the app. I would have to force quit the app every time this happens. And it happens every day. I thought it was my iPad because it was old...I have now have the newest iPad Pro and the same issue occurs. A meeting button like the purple JW app would be an awesome feature to have. Thank you again for all the hard work! I will not stop using this app, it really is a blessing from JH.

Select option. I’m not sure if I just missed it, but for the purple app, you have the option to Select items you’ve downloaded and delete them. With the orange app I can’t find this option. Is it not available? If not, can it become available? If it is I’m wondering how I do it? Thanks!

Amazing 🤗. Love the app but is there a way we can have a meetings tab like the purple app has? It's very hard to find the videos I'm looking for when studying for the meetings. English workbook already has everything written in it and they also have a cheat sheet with all the reference material. I wish studying in asl was as easy. JW Library for sign language. When I try to open the app. It kicks me off, However I try to open it again and I get on. This is happening to all my tablets and computer too. Can you look into the situation? Thanks for being there brothers and sisters. 🤟🏻

Visual Issues. The app are great! One small issue is that visual issue on orange with white letters hard to see and too tiny. I wish the app would allow me to zoom in make it bigger to see on bible scriptures oranges tiles or tiny boxes lists with scriptures with white letters. Or can change white letters to black? Thank you appreciate all of your hard work!

Crashing. The app keeps crashing each time I try to download the update. I’ve tried in different devices and the same thing keeps happening. When I go to the Bible it shows a pop up window that says there is an update available. As soon as I hit “download” the app shuts down and doesn't allow me to updated the app.

Issues for users when downloading in foreign language. Recently, via a video call we helped a Bulgarian deaf man to download the app on his phone. After some time he finally succeeded to choose the Bible in his language. However, when trying to walk him through choosing “издания” (publications) and “медия” (media) he was confused with having English appear and then have to choose a language again in each of those categories. It was frustrating to him because he thought he was making a mistake over and over again. It would be more user friendly, especially for deaf people, many of whom who have limited reading ability in other countries, if the main language that is chosen when downloading the app and bible is the language that those categories display publications or media in.

Wonderful App!. Thank you for making this. I myself am not deaf but I am using this app to learn ASL. I have found it really helpful. With Jehovah’s help, you brothers and sisters are working very hard to spread the good news. I’m very appreciative! I like the playlist feature and the What’s new feature. The First Complete ASL Sign Language Bible!. WOW! Now even the death can hear Gods complete Word! Truly, the work done on this app is accurate and trustworthy! One of the very few apps of any kind done with true love!

Helping Me Learn Sign Language. Dear Brothers, I like this version of JW Library! I am not deaf, but it is helping me learn ASL. I like that you can organize things in the playlists. I like it because I am very organized myself.

Streaming. EXCELLENT! I now can instantly access the scriptures without the wait time of downloading each one prior to viewing! What a blessing! Thank you!!!

Missing WT for December 2017. I have an old Mini iPad generation one, I don't know if it is my old iPad, the old version, lack of update etc.. that doesn't show any watchtower for December 2017. Please have this fix and the meeting is this week Saturday for ASL congregation. Much appreciate!

Beautiful App for Sign Language Field!. Thank you so much for the refinements over the years. We appreciate the efforts to make such a versatile app to match the needs of the foreign language fields. One thought: would it be possible to have the option to "bulk download" an 'update' for the individual books of the Bible similar to the way you can bulk download the books for the first time? That may make it more streamline and efficient for friends to update on the go, or at the local congregation level for friends in the media and video depts. So far there have been many new additions and updates, we really look forward to the continual improvements of the app. Thank you brothers for all your hard work.

App crashing. Not sure why it keeps crashing. Don’t know what to do. Maybe my phone? Or the type of sign I need? Keep waiting for updates hoping it will help but it’s been a month and the last update didn’t work. Don’t know if it helps to post this or not but grasping at straws.

Great App just a minor issue. The new updated app is a blessing from Jehovah! The new links makes studying easier and can spend more time doing research. The only minor issue is that the app dims the screen automatically and I have to increase the screen brightness to almost max to see the videos. This isn’t an iPad setting but the app itself. Thank you again for all your hard work.

Amazing. Amazing how much Jehovah uses technology to advance us in the ministry. I’m currently working on getting baptized and learning ASL. But the app is kinda slow when I try to download videos and books but love it and all of our brothers and sisters around the world!

May Jehovah bless you (Ruth 2:4) We would also greatly appreciate the addition of accessibility for those who need it For example, respect the system setting for light and dark mode. As it is, the app always shows a bright-white splash screen and backgrounds, forcing my 88-year-old Bible student to shield his eyes while he tries to navigate to what he wants to study. Very wonderful app!. This app is a credit to Jehovah, and his Son Jesus directing the spreading of the good news! it’s true it doesn’t have all the features the purple app has, but it has features that the purple app doesn’t have! Pausing with two fingers is a wonderful feature and being able to play video in slow motion, fast motion is indispensable!

Helps me understand the Bible. I don’t speak SL but I love to watch the scenes as I follow along with my Bible both in English and Colombian sign language… it’s really awesome!

The best!. My absolute favorite app! Especially with the addition of multiple sign languages! A must-have for any sign language user or Bible lover! No other organization produces anything even near this quality! One issue: My iPhone (i5) doesn't have as many videos available as my iPad (iPad mini) -not even any 2018 WTs available on iPhone, but no update seems available. Oddly my iPad is much older than my iPhone and has an older OS 9.3.5, but the newer iPhone running the current OS 10.3.3 is the one not showing any updates or newer publications.

Amazing Tool!. Thank you so much for this great tool! With the ability to add external materials to playlist it makes it simpler to teach with pictures and to use the app in the congregation. One thing that would be helpful in organizing the playlists in to categories would be the option to make folders or possibly tags like the Purple JW Library app. Thank you again for your hard! Best Treasure Ever!. This app is so great - I could ramble for 10 minutes about the old days of video tapes and hauling around a small portable tv-vhs player in my trunk, followed by the huge upgrade in tech that I could bring a laptop that played dvds and cut my trunk space drastically! Getting this app has been truly a gift and I thank you all for dedicating so much time and effort to taking care of us!

Love it but... First, I want to say thankyou so much for your hard working! I'm happy to have signs DVDS! But, I'm having problems with downloading bible scriptures. I have plenty of GB. But it kept crash eveytime I tried to download. Please fix it asap!

One idea that could be helpful: Instead of backing up and restoring to transfer a specific playlist, can we select which playlist we want to transfer to another computer ? Crashing & Reopening Issues. Love the app but have experienced a month of the app (January 2022) crashing at every menu choice. IOS and App is up to date but issue still not resolved. I don’t really want to reinstall app as I will lose all downloads. App is used daily. A long term issue has also been at reopening, if you’ve had the app open previously and you minimise, once you reopen the screen will be black and you must deactivate the app before reopening again. This is happening for many users that I’ve spoken to & it’s been happening for a long time.

Fabulous!. How wonderful to be able to see God's Word read. I know only a small amount of Australian sign language so this app will be perfect to use when I meet those who can't hear. It makes reading God's word so much simpler for those who communicate using only sign language. It also will be a great help in teaching sign language.

delete. little problem , do i have to delete one by one each videos ? for example : Gensis 1 to 50 videos , so i have to press each one to delete ? why it can not be delete one time of whole thing ? i want to delete the whole 50 videos in one shot without one by one ?

This is so invaluable. This is absolutely fantastic and helps us so much! Thank you my brothers and sisters. Being able to have playlists would be an added bonus!

Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!

iPhone 6 uses data w/o permission. I upgraded to iPhone 6 from a 5. The first thing I wanted to do was to restore all of my ASL videos. They are so precious to me. In the settings I always make sure to say "no" to using cellular data. But now when I lose my wifi signal, unlike the 5, my iPhone 6 will go ahead and resume downloading using cellular connection. To fix it, I had to also turn it off in the iPhone system settings.

Almost there.. A wonderful tool. Happy to see playlist function "coming soon." This will make the app truly functional for door to door ministry. Without playlists you lose the ability to have prepared presentations for different subjects or householders. Another useful addition would be pictures. This is a great way to start conversations and handy to have in the playlist line up (i.e. Picture, scripture, clip from bible teach).

Publications. not showing publications on my Mac

Question:. I can not find the new song book?

This app is for DEAF!!!!. There are a lot of apps out there for people wanting to learn sign language but this is made for Deaf!! The actors in the movies are excellent signers and the movies are very interesting but teach a lesson. Excellent facial grammar!! No better bible version out there. The quality of the information as well as the signing is amazing! Also, if hearing want to learn, this is probably best example of signing to learn the right way.

Thank You + Feature Request. Thank you so much for providing this. I would like to request that the KM be separated from the Videos, similar to the way the bible is. The reason is that when studying for the congregation bible study or the 2 month review, when you bring up the watchtower articles or the CBS publication. You lose your place in the KM. thank you again. Keep up the good work!

1st divinely inspired app ever.. Just when you thought you couldn't get anything better we get this. Absolutely simple, & user friendly. I can't wait to see where else we will be taken in simplifying ways to provide this crucial instruction to the deaf community. One suggestion I would ask for is a pictures section for easy access to still pictures of each publication. Not absolutely necessary though.

Won’t open. I got brand new iPad and this just simply wont open. I kept click to open repeated and it kept crash to close. Refuse even open, just crash closed repeated as each time I tried to open it.

No one can't stopped. Some has try, but no one can't stop the Good News! We live in the best time on earth after Jesus came. Many has been opposed but no one can say I didn't know Jehovah, time is coming, and is getting late for those that don't make there decision. These app is another prof that there will be no excuses.

Amazing. I'm great full jah gave us this tool and the bros worked so hard on it. As I continue losing my hearing at just 18 I continue to enjoy my meetins by also watching the sign language version on my iPod. However when I tried updating the last update, it errored and disappeared, even App Store says to open the app but it's no where in my iPod. I don't know what happened? Please help!

Need work.. Can you reprogram ? I have jw orange app for long time. But now I notice it get problem. I want to delete one of drama movies. It couldn't delete complete. It app download wonderful bible scriptures and videos and drama movies get download easy. My iPad2 only have 64gb. I try to switch one movie reload and delete it and reload other drama movie and delete it. The problem is for delete video drama. It's program not complete to delete it. Can you please fix it?

Amazing signing, amazing resource, amazingly free!. I'm Hearing but I work with and teach with very skilled Deaf teachers. This app is so easy to use, so easy to teach with and learn from. The signing (ASL) is very clear and up-to-date with current Deaf usage and idioms. Other sign language apps, and especially sign language Bibles can be clunky, hard to understand or use very old signing that is no longer in popular use. The NWT in ASL (this version) and all the included resources are all just immediately understandable to Deaf and Hearing both. An amazing resource that is constantly being added to and updated and all FREE. JW people must really love Deaf! Thank you!

Awesome App. Great Tool!. Thank you for the updates and improvements. Just FYI: I'm unable to delete dramas. I use an Apple iPad 3, 64GB, wifi only. I've had the same issue through several updates so wanted to bring it to your attention. In this unappreciative ("What have you done for me lately?") world, your team may not receive the level of commendation you deserve. Therefore: "thank you", "well done!", and "we love you".

Lifted above the tops of the mountains. Well, there is nothing more clear than this to show how well the scripture in Micah 4:1,2 is being fulfilled today. (Watch it!) The quality of this app is so high that nothing can compare, especially a certain "other project" started in 1981 that fails to capture the dignity God's words deserve. Also a kind word to Cienega for supporting us up to this point, and obviously unselfishly letting this app imitate its easy-to-use format. Thank you to both Cienega, and our brothers in New York who give freely of their time to help raise our worship above the hills, as to it all nations stream.

Awesome, easy to use, powerful. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Retains all the helpful functions we are used to, even keeping the same gestures! The ease of updating, and additional ability to quickly switch between Bible verses and other publications makes it so practical for study and teaching. Please keep up the good work! Only request is to allow us to see the printed titles of the publications and especially chapters, when selecting from main screens. I know the pictures are universal and language-independent, but they are a bit cryptic even for us who are already familiar with them - probably impossible to decipher for a new student.

Excellent Lifesaving App!. This is the first I have seen of an App that's communicates Wonderful & Truthfully to others. This new feature is easy to use and share with anyone who wants to communicate via sign language or wants to experience the heartfelt concern of communicating to people. Ok, but not Complete!. Japanese Sign Language doesn’t teach you Japanese Sign Language with English and Japanese Subtitles!

Amazed!. I just wanted to express my whole-hearted gratitude to the brothers for making such a App! I cannot get over how easy it is to navigate and how helpful I have found it! In just the short time since its release my Bible Reading and study has improved drastically and my comprehension has increased dramatically. A Wonderful Provision from our Heavenly Father. As a young person, this app gives me hope for several opportunities to be able to witness in foreign lands. It's easy to use, and understand. With this, people are introduced to an entirely new vocabulary with the purpose to teach people about Jehovah God and the true meaning of his word the Bible. Our God truly "causes to become" in such innovative ways, thank you so much for this wonderful tool. :)

So Amazing!. Thank you SO much for providing this perfect app! It is better than we ever imagined we would get! Love the ease of being able to sign directly onto the website to get the latest KM's, WT's, etc. Also love all the videos for young people! WOW! Bookmarks for the Bible portion would be kinda cool, though maybe not possible. Truly a gift from Jehovah, this app is!

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. All the added updates are amazing. I'm most excited about the side by side feature. I can now, more easily take notes when preparing for meetings in sign language. Also, during meeting if I want to look up a video really quick I can keep my notes up and view videos from the app easier... this will definitely help me with commenting during the meeting. I truly appreciate all your hard work. Thank you so much.

Truly amazing tool!. Have been using the new app on bible studies, personal study & meeting prep and truly loving it! What a wonderful provision from Jehovah to help in our deaf ministry. Many, many thanks to the GB and the brothers who have worked so hard on this! I would love to see in future updates perhaps lesson titles appearing on menus for quickly locating subjects and also notice that when the dropdown playlist appears it takes a moment to disappear and deaf bible students find it a bit distracting & I need to swipe back & start over when the list disappears....otherwise, fantastic tool! Downloading is so much easier! Thank you, thank you!, thank you!!!

The program we used before with all the words and check marks was so confusing for my mother in law. I ended up having to update media or her whenever we visited. Child Speech Development Opportunity. Dear Bro.s thank you for this wonderful ASL app. Please consider future enhancement to include an optional audio sound to assist those with learning challenges. I observed toddlers as well as young children with speech difficulties would mimic the hand gestures and intonation of cartoons that were in sync with the characters. Also parents and caregivers who do not know ASL may learn along with the child as they share precious physical and spiritual time teaching their children.

Best tool ever. As someone working in the asl field for long time, this app is the answer to our long time prayers. Just having everything at the touch of a finger is incredible. Just few years ago no one imagined this could be possible. There is just one request I have if it could be possible to add. Having a playlist or a way to put bookmarks (i don't know if is possible in a movie) would be so helpful! Right now there is no way to do it. I rely on the purple app as reference to whatever I want to use. But having it right there would be awesome. Anyway, we love the app with the new style and everything included in it. Thanks all for your hard work! Thanks Jehovah for his love to all kind of people!

Works the way it should with a few problems.. Hi brothers. This app really helps me organize all the ASL material needed for our meetings, and i am truly grateful we have such a good tool. I am having a "glitch" so to speak. Whenever I play a video, the device's color starts to oversaturate all by itself. I noticed as I exit the video, the color goes back to normal brightness . Is there a reason for this? Other than that, thank you so much for all your hard work!

The Master will look down with Approval. I was in tears of great joy to have this wonderful spiritual provision. I know Jesus will find the Faithful Slave doing a good work. I know no matter if I'm studying or in the ministry, I can have confidence in having the right tools for any occasion. How happy I am, so humbled Jehovah Drew me in and I have no doubt that my children and I have the tools to stay close to Jehovah all our days. Thank you brothers for all your hard work.

Jw sign language. I have issues w scriptures some bible missing or not able download like genesis, exodus , lev, number, duet, acts, few of it in gray . I plan read revelation ms but couldn’t due not able download at all help
