Awesomeness. Great app, TY Greg and Corbin. You may want to show a Carplay Screen in the app advertising snapshots.

Fully replaced Car Scanner. The developer is designing it specifically for the Ioniq line—and it shows. Car a Scanner was never great, and now that this is out, there’s no reason to use any other OBD-II app. The CarPlay display is gorgeous!

Must have app, I would give it more stars if possible. Tons of useful and just cool information, very nice display, explanations helped understand the car better. And on top,the developer replied with answers to my questions in a few hours.

Level 2 charging plug temp needed.. Level 2 charging plug temp(VCMS AC INLET) display desperately needed displayed on the charging screen. You can even put this in place of the tire temperature read out which is not needed during charging.

Great support. I ran into a problem with connecting. Turned out to be the ABRP wasn’t letting go of the OBD-II scanner even after a reboot of the phone. The developer walked me through unlinking ABRP from the scanner when not using live data and the connection issue is resolved. Yeah, the problem wasn’t the app, it was me. The support for this app was great and I recommend giving it a try, especially if you like data about your car. For those Kia drivers, I’m driving a 2025 Kia EV6 GTL.

Provides so much information.. I have a 2023 Ioniq 5 and it works flawlessly. Very easy and quick to set up. I love how I can use it with Apple Car Play and have all the info displayed on my screen while driving.

A Must Have for Stats Nerds. 2025 Ioniq 5 SEL As advertised, this app gives you all the crunchy details the car hides by default. Very cool to see exactly how the car performs while driving and charging, and the history feature is really nice as well. MyHyundai only saves stats for the last 4 drives, but this app has no such limit. It’s also nice to see specific details for my ICCU unit, and high voltage cell deltas to assess any issues. Highly recommended.

Great direction. I love the CarPlay integration. This app is well-designed and feels like it should ship with the car. Can confirm it works well with my Kia EV6. Eager to try it out on a road trip!

Working with Ioniq 6. Not sure what is “partially functional” regarding the Ioniq 6 but I’m using it with a MY2024 AWD i6 and I can’t find anything non-functional at first glance. Does the job, great stuff.

I’d Give 10 Stars For Greg’s Customer Service If It Was Allowed. After reading the reviews on here and on Reddit I decided to go ahead and spend the money for this app to use with my Ioniq 6. I wasn’t able to get it to sync with my Veepeak OBD2BLE adapter, even though it was on the list of adapters that are compatible. I did all the usual steps with no luck. I emailed support (Greg, himself) and explained my situation. He got back to me within a half hour and gave me his phone number to call so we could troubleshoot the problem…on a Sunday…in the summer. I sent a screen cap of the message I was getting and he hadn’t seen that one before. But he walked me through several steps and eventually asked me to confirm, in the app settings, that Bluetooth was enabled. It was enabled in the general settings but It wasn’t in the app itself (for some reason). Issue solved. The app fired right up. And I spent the next hour plus geeking out over the inner workings of my I6. Goodbye Car Scanner. Hello Ioniq 5 Companion. It’s well worth the $13. Thanks Greg. I hope you make a lot of money with this app.

First Impression. Just used the app on Kia ev6. Works great. Found the obd quickly with no issues. Used CarPlay and the display was easy to read and navigate. Look forward to other items in updates.

Totally cool Apple CarPlay interface for Ioniq. This the Software you’ve been waiting for it, interfaces with your Bluetooth dongle plugged into your OBD port and provide you a real time interface of all the key features of your EV performance on a nice Apple CarPlay screen Note to developer: please develop something like this for the Cadillac Lyriq Apple CarPlay screen

Works for EV6. Great app. Displays the important things at a glance. My only complaint is how it indicates headlights are on. The headlight square turns a very blinding white when the lights are on. On our dark roads at night, it’s not pleasant. I’d like to see it do something like the brake light indicator. Maybe even say off and then give a green headlight symbol to indicate on

Amazing EV App. Great app as a first time EV owner, lots of information and useful tools.

An essential for Kia/Hyundai owners. I normally do not write reviews but I figured I must here. This is a stable and well coded display of ODB2 data specific to EV. Kudos to the dev.

Ultimate Ioniq 5 owner tool. I’ve just started using this app but wanted to provide my initial impressions. Connection to my Veepeak adapter was instantaneous. The UI is very well done, with everything presented in an easy to understand format. I like the graphical representation of the items and how everything is well organized. The information presented is above and beyond what is normally available and, while most might be accessible through other apps, this is clearly tuned for maximum info with minimum fuss on the Ioniq 5. The CarPlay interface is great too, providing near real-time (probably only limited by transmission from the adapter) at-a-glance information for much of the most critical information while either driving or charging. It’s obvious a lot of thought went into designing this app. I can’t wait to see what other enhancements the developer has in mind.

Good to have, still need some tweaks. I agree with the ionic guy, this should be essential if you own an ionic five. To the developer: please take a closer look at the tire pressure colors displayed by default. If I have my tires properly inflated to cold temperatures once they warm up, they show is orange instead of green. This is what I would consider an incorrect behavior. I believe the software should be able to take this into account as that’s what the manufacturer recommends cold pressure to be sent to. If you go to any Costco or tire shop in the US, they will normally set the tires to +3 or +4 psi from label on the door panel for warm tire inflation if you’ve driven more than half a mile. The vehicle should know what a warm tire is versus a cold tire. If you could somehow adjust the software to take this into account, that would be great. As is right now if it goes above 36 psi it always shows orange even if that is normal behavior of a tire set to 36 cold as the #DATA placard and the manual states. I picked this app up after seeing a YouTube review from “the ionic guy” that does a good showcase on the software. I recommend anybody thinking about it. Take a look at that video.

A MUST HAVE for every Hyundai/Genesis/KIA EV owner. Even if your model is listed as under development GET THIS! It provides a second dashboard via CarPlay with all the data you couldn’t see before. Charging status, trip data, ICCU (our Achilles heel) information. Battery details for both 12v and the main batteries. Preconditioning and battery temperature status. All in a more digestible format than apps like Car Scanner. Developer seems very responsive to feedback and is actively improving the app

Just make sure…. This information may be easily available, and I may have just missed it, but make sure you know that you will also need an OBD II Bluetooth unit that is ELM27 compatible. I gladly jumped up on Amazon and got one of the VGates. I look forward to plugging this in and hooking up the app, because this app looks amazing.

Be Aware - this needs a Bluetooth ELM327-compliant OBDII Scanner. My old OBDII scanner was WiFi only, so it was not usable with this app. Be sure to read the developer’s helpful instructions carefully to ensure compatibility with your equipment.

12V. Didn’t know the OBD reading can only connect to one app at the time. After disconnecting the other app , the did work display everything
