Adobe Premiere: Video Editor Comments & Reviews 2026
Great, but needs more. Fantastic app! Needs the ability to scrub through previews when selecting clips, crop overlay clips to do video editing tricks, cross fading, move all audio tracks together, key frames, more captions control and options and some other advanced options. Can’t wait for future updates. 👏
HORRIBLE!!! BRING RUSHES BACK. This app is flawed from A to Z, during the entire editing process. Z being that once the video is exported (no matter what setting you choose) the audio is not synchronized. But that”s just the final issue following a mountain of problems and a generally horribly designed application ( one example: you open the “speed” tab and the window covers the timeline, so you can’t actually see what you’re working on). Rushes was perfect!! Please bring it back or fix this one fast
Ehh it’s okay pretty good. I love making schleich horse movies. While looking for a video editor to edit my episodes. I found this one. I loved that I could generate the same sound effects. And the video generator. But why does every single video editor have a pro version. I am not paying 11 dollars a month to add a sound affect of a horse neighing. Wouldn’t download if you don’t have professional video streaming devices to upload your videos to.
Good for starters needs improvement. For people to edit this is a good app but after a while, you can’t edit on this because there’s just not enough features. I suggest working on adding features such as smooth, slow key frames, background remover, more kinds of overlays, transitions, and effects
Export fails at 2% progress. Sadly this watered down version of Premiere for mobile is worse than the old Rush app. Completely wasted my time editing a 5 minute short on iPad only to have the app not complete an export. It just hangs up at 2% completion, changing resolution or quality settings doesn’t change anything. Uploading my micro project to the Adobe Cloud via the Premiere Desktop Beta is the only way to possibly recover the time I’ve spent.
CapCut is WAY Better. This app is just iMovie plus generative AI slop features which require and expensive subscription and consume credits per use. CapCut is 100% better than this iOS app and is even far more efficient to use than bloated and slow Premiere Pro desktop app. Bring back Premiere Rush- it was pretty good other than the fact that it would freeze up and crash most of the time!
Missing key features. This app would be a perfect mobile editing app if it had all the same features as its predecessor: Adobe rush. I’m not sure why rush was done away with and replaced with this, but this app is missing one major key thing. not being able to crop the video is a huge miss for mobile content. I’m not sure how this app was released without this feature. Until this is added I’ll be using other editing softwares
ITS GOOD. This app is completely free and I haven’t seen any issues Though to make a video, it is kinda hard because you can get 1GB just from a two minute video, but that’s the only issue
This is way better than other editing app. I’m looking forward for the integration of other features like in the pc premiere pro
I am just so aggravated. This is about my 7th bad review on an app like this, so at this point I’m simply copy/pasting my reviews because they all struggle with one problem that hits me way harder than anyone else. I am an amateur animator and I use apps just like this one to connect animation snippets into one whole video. Anyway, sometimes, I drag out frames because I need one exact frame to remain on the screen for a certain amount of time, usually around five seconds. But this app, just like every freaking other app I’ve tried, doesn’t keep it on there for freaking 5 seconds. But only for freaking ONE. Are you freaking serious? This amazing new hobby of mine I am getting so freaking frustrated over because someone freaking thought that cutting off dragged out scenes was a GOOD idea. News flash: it’s not! Most people with filmed content don’t struggle with this but me and my animating people do, so just freaking get this dumb mistake fixed so I can enter a freaking 13 second snippet of animation without it getting translated into freaking only six seconds. I know it’s a small thing but to me it’s everything. Please fix.
Amazing. This App is great and I’m sure there’s many more features to come. Would like to know if the Adobe Rush projects could be synced into Premiere before all Rush projects are lost. And also would like to have motion blur effects, as well as the auto reframe options. Thank you!
Captions are annoying. I actually like all the features since I can upload my videos in high quality but the caption feature is not as user friendly. I would like the captions to be cut where I want and not be 2 lines. I was hoping to use this to not have quality reduced after editing it from TikTok.
Premier is actually pretty good. I think adobe is figuring out that others are eating their lunch and have responded. Premier in iPhone is simple and intuitive. Much better than the old premier or adobe rush
The intern quit halfway through. I had been waiting years for premier to come to iPad … only to be completely devastated. Here’s a brief list of what’s not available. Auto color-grade (not even basic current frame grade let alone the sensei full clip modeling), no hotkeys, no way to export to internal or external storage, no effects other than a few Lightroom presets. It feels like they spent the better part of a week making this and it shows.
Not good for pro work. In typical Adobe fashion, they deliver a product with the Premiere name and give the user none of what they need to even start a project properly. No way to set up for standard Rec 709 or 10BIT, anything HDR comes in as HDR and can’t be changed. Fluidity not there in the timeline with trackpad feels wonky. It’s basically that rush software with some extra features and a UI change. If it ever gets actually good I’ll come back and change the review. P.S maybe instead of having developers spend all this time on projects like these you should send them over to illustrator for iPad to update it because it’s pretty unusable. Also, please realize that the iPad Pro is now a multi input system. Every app you make should be setup for trackpad, pencil, and touch. It would be nice for Premier for iPad to actually be usable and good, but I just can’t understand how you could start the apps life with the most basic of features missing.
Rush with a downgrade of extras. I use rush all the time. I was so excited because yes, there was problems with rush and was hoping that this new replacement would be awesome with all the features of rush, but maybe extra things. Nope, what happened to all the transitions? Why can I not create titles that don’t just slide in or rotate (the only other option) I used to rush to create things flying in and out or pop up in the videos, and that has been completely eliminated. Such a huge disappointment. I really liked the portable of being able to create it on my phone. Still searching for a good app now.
Great, needs a few more features. Premiere on the iPhone is incredibly powerful and easy to use. I much prefer it over the desktop version for making social media content. However, one crucial feature is missing: text-based editing! This feature would be a lifesaver to have on mobile.
Great start. So easy to use! I’ve struggled to get the hang of other video apps - they have so many nested options and feel cluttered. Premiere was the first app that felt approachable but powerful at the same time. It’s so fast and precise. The sound effects are really cool and it does a good job cleaning up background noise on my voiceovers. Looking forward to what gets added soon.
Fantastic. Historically I’ve not been a fan of editing on a phone because it’s always lacked the power I wanted. It’s not the case here. I edited my first video in 5 min and fixed my poor quality audio in seconds! Amazing. Thank you Adobe for creating such a cool app!
Giving ideas to make the app better. I think the app is amazing but still needs some work, I think you guys should add video affects like transitions, and I think you guys should also add a stability feature that stabilizes the video from shakiness, I also think another way to improve the app would be by adding the ability to adjust brightness, contrast and saturation and things like that, if the app had all that it would be perfect and it would definitely be my go to for video editing.
1st user to download. I’m excited about this. The features on the app are looking and working great so far. Soon this will be #1 video editing app. Loving it already. Time to get creative🤩🥳
The app I’ve been waiting for!. Finally, an easy video editing tool that has everything I need! So happy Adobe finally brought this to us.
Does NOT Meet Standard | FAKE/BOT high star reviews. Still missing core editing standards in 2025 1. No keyframes – can’t animate position, scale, or opacity 2. Only 6 basic transitions – no wipes, zooms, or custom effects 3. No green screen/chroma key 4. No stabilization, motion tracking, or masking 5. No speed ramping curves 6. No adjustment layers or HDR/LOG support 7. Missing standard filters: blur, vignette, grain, glitch, sharpen, LUTs, etc. 8. Weak audio tools – no EQ, reverb, or ducking Feels like a rebranded Rush, not a real mobile Premiere. CapCut (free), Inshot, VN Video Editor, LumaFusion have more to offer. Great price though if features were available. Please add essentials soon. It’s alarming that a company like Adobe would release a product like this so far behind the curve compared to other editing apps in 2025 and expect to be competitive.
Best accessible video editor!. This is the best accessible video editor! The speech enhance tool is absolutely incredible! I’ve did it with two test videos recorded from the native camera app and the magic is just wonderful! The only thing I wish that it could do is that whenever you enhance the speech and turn it on it always resets to its default values. I wish in the next update you could add the ability to have the enhance please set automatically saved when you close so that the next time you turn the preset on it will automatically preserve the last setting rather than resetting it to default.
Best video editor. Adobe hit it out of the ballpark with this one! I have been a long time Premiere user and have been eagerly anticipating the mobile version and it did not disappoint. Excited to be able to edit my videos that I capture on my iPhone.
Love it!. As a content creator with vision loss, this app is a huge game changer. It's very self-explanatory and easy to use. It's nice to have a lot of options, especially to extract and replace audio. And it's even better that it works with my screen reading software. It's very difficult to find an editing app that works with screen reader. Even Apple's own video editor doesn't work with their accessibility software. So this is great to be able to put out high-quality content
It just works!. I was thoroughly impressed by how they made all the edits incredibly simple. All menus are conveniently accessible, and the timeline is exceptionally intuitive. The options are perfectly balanced, ensuring that you don’t have to leave your timeline to perform complex tasks. Kudos to the team for delivering exactly what you would expect from a mobile editing app. I had long abandoned mobile editing, even for simple projects, but this will be my default for quick movies like birthdays. I highly recommend it!
A good start, but leaves much to be desired. Better than Premier Rush for sure, but we had higher hopes. I do expect it to follow the path of Photoshop in terms of progress and improvement–hopefully in less time. For a starter, adding transition needs to be made easier, with an option to apply to all clips at once. We will update as we continue using this long-awaited app. This review follows testing on Apple iPad Pro M2.
Slow motion probleme. I can say from first use and looks the app is pretty well desinged it has the basics and all but it has got a big problem wich is the slowmotion its like laggy i wish for you adobe team to make it better and add a smoother slow motion and more accessibility to the animations and the key settings wich i didnt find thank you .
My honest opinion. App is great but I just wish you could connect accounts mainly the subscriptions like how Lightroom is 5 on mobile but 7 for this app just wish I could pay for 2 or make this 7 especially when I don’t got much money to work with.
Great. I can’t believe how well this app works. The new Premiere app for iPhone is incredible. What’s really amazing is that it’s the easiest app to use for editing video on the iPhone. i’ve searched and searched and bought and bought apps to make iPhone editing easy. I just want to do the simple things: append videos to one another, slice portions off of a video, that kind of thing. in every other app, I’ve tried. It’s been a mystery verging on the undoable just to do such simple things. This app is wonderful.
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for!. Ok for the reputation Adobe has about being greedy and stealing art from all artist around the world…this is exactly what I need to optimize my workflow as a content creator! I still Use DaVinci Resolve on my iPad though.
Extremely basic. Wasted $8 to make one simple video. No surprise there’s not a free trial, they wouldn’t make any money. The controls are difficult to use, and there are vanishingly few options for beautifying your video. I really would’ve expected a lot more from Adobe. I’ve gone to try CapCut for two dollars for the first month… a vast expand expanse of options. I didn’t want to use CapCut because it’s owned by ByteDance, but Adobe doesn’t give me any choice.
Inferior Product and Scammy Marketing. Wow, I’m amazed Adobe stopped to this level. The app states it’s free on the App Store but once you download it, you get a while that it will start charging you $22 a month after a trial period. Then when you try and cancel the app, you can’t do it in the iPhone app subscription section, you have to go to their site and register to cancel it. This is a disgusting tactic from such a supposedly reputable firm. 🤮
Very helpful. Adobe Premiere is simultaneously a nightmare and a godsend but mostly a godsend. Honestly, it’s like strapping a rocket to your creative brain. The timeline feels infinite, the effects are absurdly granular, and yes, the learning curve will murder your social life but the payoff? Insane. Once you get the hang of the shortcuts and the nested sequences, you’re basically bending time and space. Clips obey you. Transitions obey you. Even color grading starts feeling like you’re painting in another dimension. And the integration with After Effects? That’s not a feature, that’s digital telepathy. Sure, it crashes sometimes but in my experience, it’s more like a nudge than a tantrum. And the flexibility? Infinite. The rendering speed? Fast enough to make you suspicious there’s some sorcery happening in the background. At the end of the day, Premiere is the one app that can make you feel like a professional editor, a mad scientist, and a procrastinating genius all at once. If creativity had a body, this would be its skeleton. Five stars, no contest.
Thank you!. So far so good. A nice and quick way to edit videos and comes out good. Just did one edit and it was very easy to go through editing color, light etc without any tutorials. Haven’t tried the option to export to Desktop (beta) but that in itself is an exciting addition. Look forward to playing around with it more.
Feature to make this the only go to App. I have been a long time premier user and will always suggest premier over anything. This app makes life so much easier on the go. The only feedback and hoping is to see keyframes in the near future to really make this the only go-to app for video editing
Incredible. I loved Premiere Rush because it was a great quick on the go editor, but this is incredible. It is like a pocket Premiere Pro. Adobe brought all of the major elements you need from the desktop app to really enhance your video and audio quality. Amazing work
So far so good.. It’s a solid start, and I’m enjoying it already. This app makes it easier for people like me to get into Premiere Pro on mobile before transitioning to the desktop version. It feels like an accessible introduction to the full Premiere Pro experience.
Rush had its bugs but was better than this. honestly feel like Premiere Rush was a much stronger app compared to the new Premiere mobile version. Rush offered better subject tracking, smoother transitions, and far easier access to key editing tools without having to dig through menus. It struck the perfect balance between power and simplicity — ideal for creators who wanted professional-looking edits without the complexity of a full desktop setup. The newer Premiere mobile app feels stripped down and less intuitive. Some of the features that made Rush great — like quick clip adjustments, audio balancing, and motion tracking — either don’t work as well or are missing entirely.
A promising start. Premiere for iPhone is a fantastic entry point into mobile video editing. The fact that the app is free to use - with optional paid generative credits - is a huge plus. Inclusion of free samples of premium features was a nice touch. I’ve loved using the generative sound effects…it’s more fun than it should be. As someone without a video editing background, I found the interface snappy and intuitive. It’s clear Adobe is building something special here, and I’m excited to see where they take it next.
Deleted Rush 🤦🏼♀️. Accidentally deleted Rush to free up space on my phone and now I can’t find it. This app needs the auto reframe QUICK. Or just the ability to do keyframes. I film sports. It’s hard to always have the subject exactly in the middle. I shoot horizontally but usually edit vertically for Reels. The auto reframe and ability to adjust the frames saved me from having my subjects out of frame. 😭
It’s pretty good. It’s pretty good, but you can only do like instrumental music nothing with words and like so you can’t do like dances and stuff you kind of have to do just random things but I will say it is pretty good so I give it a four star and then you can still like submit it on other platforms
Almost there. I love the app but it’s missing a couple features for it to become my main mobile editor. Speed ramping and the ability to add overlays with blend modes. If they were to add those I think I’d be able to strictly use Premiere for my mobile video editing.
Initial thoughts. This is a nice fresh and updated feel to the mobile video editing capabilities from Adobe. However I’m missing some important features that were part of Rush right out of the gate such as control for panning (hard to get a nice look without), cross fading (not just fade in and out of black), and clip duration settings rather than trimming. I’m sure updates are on the way 😊🙏. Haven’t tried music yet but hope a more Instagram type feel. Rush music options were terrible.. some quick thoughts
It’s a WOW!!. I have to conclude that Adobe finally decided it was time to give back some love to its adoring fans. It is simply unbelievable that Adobe would provide such a powerful, impeccably well-designed, full-featured, and simple-to-use app—for FREE!!!!!!!! (You can add AI for a fee.) This is truly a game-changer as this app will handle virtually everything that 95% of the world will need. I’m quite literally stunned and most grateful! Thank you Adobe for the generous gift!!!
Needs More Work. Trying this app and created a video that was only 1 minute 20 seconds long and it would not process to share. I had to duplicate the project, go in and edit it by taking all the graphics and audio off and try to share it again. This time it worked. Not worth it if it won’t process stuff. I can just use Premiere Rush. I need to cancel my mobile subscription. I have an iPhone 16 Max Pro.
So much easier than other apps. Any time I’ve tried to edit videos using my phone I end up so frustrated that I can’t do simple things like cutting out parts with any kind of accuracy. I didn’t have to try 100 times to trim out my mistakes using this. It’s also much less overwhelming than CapCut, which I didn’t even know where to start with. I’d love to see automatic color fixes and more transitions and effects. But overall, super excited about this.
AMAZING APP but add something. I honestly like this app but the app doesn’t have effects such as glitch effects and everything else that’s make it good. I really also want key frames I want to make a concept but I can’t cause I need effects and key frames with easing so please add that but I’ll still give it 5 star don’t not become like CapCut
Good start, hoping for more. Super easy to bring in videos and make quick edits. Not much better than iMovie I must say. The stock music is pretty bad, just sayin. Hoping to also see some automated editing options the likes of Beat Leap or templates like Video Leap and Cap Cut.

Audio duck?. It needs auto ducking. Auto-reframe and a few other Rush features would also be nice.
No auto framing or cropping. I was lead to believe the app would allow auto framing like in the desktop version to make vertical videos from landscape orientation. I was wrong. It only allows for changes in aspect ratio without the ability to zoom in.
Very good very easy to use. 10/10
The best. Aussie Car Deals only uses Adobe Premier for there videos ! Cheers Tommy
Great Free App. Thank God this is a wonderful video editing app and it’s FREE 👍👍
Ai-laden cack.. Adobe continues to degrade itself chasing ai trends that are losing them money from creatives who used to be forced to use this software. They’ve voluntarily gone from a titan in the industry to way behind competitors in the “let those without talent produce content” field. I will toast their eventual demise to likes of Canva.
SMOOTH WORKING. BUT I DID NOT FOUND SHARPNESS IN ADJUST OPTION AND ADD MORE ANIMATIONS , ADD EFFECTS LIKE CAPCUT THATS WHY I GIVE U ONLY 3 STARS 🎖️
Suggestion. This app is awesome because it’s export my videos without any watermark for free. However , I don't add key frames, don't add videos my transition or effects. Please make the key framing option available. I hope you response a short time, thanks!
Almost perfect, just missing a few features. Overall a really solid editing app in terms of responsiveness and design. My biggest gripe would be the lack of custom LUT support, which if added could easily make this the go-to mobile editor for creators, since so many now shoot LOG from their iPhone directly. Fingers crossed this and keyframes will come in a future update 🤞
Fishing Videos. I’ve found this soooo much easier than others to navigate for our fishing page

Am super happy for this app for editing my short videos and I was waiting for this day sep 30 2025. Best mobile and iPad app for video editing
premiere. This is the best video editing app with free ai features
No Key Framing. Solid editing app with great features but there’s no way to add key frames
Not bad. Needs an option to export an audio only file like an mp3 etc.. Also would be nice to be able to split audio track left and right instead of mono mix only.
Love this App. Awesome!!
Finally a better option. After Capcut started locking every feature unless you had pro, we needed something like this… its the end for capcut
adobe. good
Nothing special , free alternatives are better. Found nothing in the workflow or features that makes this stand out over the hundreds of alternatives. Also you already know in 3 months they’re going to lock several key features behind a subscription.
Should be able to bring projects from violet to this app, otherwise fine. Feels odd that adobe would run this whole public beta but won’t have any reasonable ways to work on videos from project violet in the complete version of the app. Other than that the functionality is great, all I’d say is that the enhance audio could use some work or perhaps allow for tweaking to mute certain audio channels
