I Am Sober App Description & Overview

What is i am sober app? I Am Sober is more than just a free sobriety counter app.

Along with tracking your sober days, it helps you build new habits and provides ongoing motivation by connecting you to a wide network of people all striving for the same goal: staying sober one day at a time.

Through our growing sober community you can learn from others and contribute by sharing insights and tactics that have worked for you.

**The I Am Sober app features:**

• Sober day tracker
To visualize how long you’ve been sober.

• Remember why you quit
Add reasons and photos to help you remember why you want to quit your addiction and stay sober.

• Daily pledge tracker
Take a pledge every day. Sobriety is a 24-hour struggle, so start your day off by making a pledge to stay sober. Then you can review how your day went and log notes at the end of the day.

• Sobriety calculator
View how much money & time you’ve saved by being sober.

• Analyze triggers
Recap each day and find patterns that made your day easier or more challenging than the last.

• Share your story
Either with others or for yourself, take photos and journal your progress directly in the app. Then choose to share it or save it as a reminder for yourself.

• Milestone tracker
Track and celebrate your milestones from 1 day, to 1 week, to 1 month and beyond. Compare experiences with others on their sober journey. Read how they felt at this milestone and what you can expect. If you’re struggling, share your story and invite others to offer help or advice.

• Withdrawal timeline
When you create an account and declare your addiction, you can instantly see a withdrawal timeline to get an idea of what to expect for your next few days (and weeks). What’s more, you can contribute to it. See how many others saw an increase in their restfulness vs those that saw an increase in anxiety. Prepare yourself for what’s to come in recovery.

• Customize your experience
You set the time, your sober birthday, the category of motivation you need, the addictions you’re trying to break, even the end-of-day summaries. Make the app customized to your lifestyle and tailored to your needs.

**Sober Plus subscriptions**

I Am Sober is free to use, but you can support development of the app with a subscription to Sober Plus. With Sober Plus, you'll get access to these premium features:

I am Sober has helped me greatly.. The I Am Sober app is an incredible tool for anyone who needs help with addiction recovery. This app provides a comprehensive platform for individuals to track and manage their sobriety journey. With features such as daily goal setting, progress tracking, reminders, and motivational quotes, the I Am Sober app is designed to help users develop a strong support system, stay accountable, and maintain their sobriety. One of the best things about this app is its elegant and user-friendly interface, which makes it simple and easy to use. The app's feature-rich design and intuitive navigation complement the real-time tracking and management capabilities, allowing users to stay on top of their recovery journey at all times. Overall, the I Am Sober app is an essential tool for anyone seeking to maintain a sober lifestyle. It has all the features and support necessary to help you track your progress, stay motivated, and make it through every day of your recovery journey. I highly recommend this app to anyone who needs help with addiction recovery!

Changes. I’ve been using this app since the second day I gave up alcohol. I’m about to reach three and a half years sober. I love this app and being able to track my sobriety. Unfortunately, the recent changes to the Pledge page have lowered my experience with the app. I’ve missed more pledges since the change compared to the rest of my three years of sobriety. What was once part of my morning routine has now been something I forget until the reminder notification pings. I wish it would go back to showing us our pledge streak. If anything, move the Workbook stuff to the Motivation page. If I wanted to work on something, I would go looking for it, instead of having it forced somewhere that many addicts in recovery used daily. I am not a developer so I’m likely speaking out of turn but one would think that the app would focus on maintaining a sense of regularity as its users are addicts in recovery. I’m thankful this app exists and I hope the Pledge part of the app returns back to the form in which it was most useful.

Great App but Needs to be More Holistic. I absolutely love this app!! The notifications are really helpful and I love the community you can connect with. I like being able to review each day, it helped me notice patterns and triggers. The only thing I don’t like is that it only counts streaks, like how many days in a row you go without your addiction. I see a lot of people that land back at day 0 or 1 beating themselves up, feeling awful and guilty and like a failure. But a lot of those people come off 30 days sober, 50 days sober etc. So I think mentally it would help people to see a counter that accumulates all their non-drinking days of the whole year or month or whatever. I used to drink every single day but this past month I only drank 15 days - that’s huge for me and I’m super proud! But on the app it’s not recognized, I only see I’ve been 2 days sober or whatever. I’ll still keep using the app because the other features outweigh the counter issue but it would still be nice to have a longer view of your progress.

What an EXCELLENT app. I am thoroughly enjoying this, out of the plethora of sobriety trackers that hide everything useful behind a paywall it is so great to see a company that actually wants to help people. The subscription gets you access to extra skins and a few bonus things but the core of the app has everything that you need. I am going to continue to use this for a few more weeks but as of now fully intend on subscribing just to support the developers and I recommend that you do as well if you are finding it helpful because such a thoughtful program like this one deserves to stay alive and to be kept up to date. That can only happen if the Devs can pay their bills and put food on their plates! Thank you so much for this, I am glad that I found it when I was in need.

Such an awesome app for anyone struggling with any kind of addiction. I have been addicted to heroin for about 8 years, I just turned 25 a few days ago. I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl in January and she changed my life and motivated me to get clean. This app along with my clinic, my counselor, and my family all help me to stay clean. My family has a group text so every morning they look forward to me sharing my daily motivation because the affirmations start their days off with a positive mindset too!! I love how this app tracks your sobriety to the very second, and tracks how much money you’ve saved and how many hours you’ve saved since getting clean. The developers are constantly tweaking the app to make it better and add new motivation packs pretty regularly, I own almost every pack so every month once I finish one pack I start a new one. I realllllllllly LOVE how the app celebrates all the milestones, because it’s exciting to celebrate every month sober, especially the big milestones like 100 days, 6 months, 1 year, etc. I go to a methadone clinic and I always recommend the I Am Sober app to my counselor and to anyone there who is still struggling and especially to people who are newly sober because it’s helped me so much. This app has become a really important part of my day, and I plan to keep utilizing it for as long as possible for my sobriety!!

Problems with App Protection and the Community Board. I just checked out the community for the first time and it was shocking. I get that it’s a place to vent but other people can see the stuff you pay on there. I don’t want to see people complaining about how much they want to hurt themselves and easier ways to do it. I’m trying my absolute best not to and all they talk about is how much they want to and how much they do it. The producers should really crack down on it more or at least make it clear that it shouldn’t be a place for sharing easier ways to harm yourself but a place to spread motivation. I also HATE how you have to pay for the app to be password protected. I understand that people have to pay for some things so the company can make a profit but it’s completely counter intuitive to their mission. The app not being password protected, and then someone finding out your addiction can be so harmful. I love how this app gives me daily motivation to keep going but they should really work on the smaller stuff that will make this app so much better.

Such incredible motivation.. I was skeptical of this app because all the others I’ve come across are really just counters. With “I Am Sober” it does keep track of the months/days/years you have been clean, but it has so much more to offer than that! It gives you the option to list the reasons why you should stay away from your bad habits. It also sends you notifications to look at your progress for inspiration and sometimes offers inspiring quotes. What sets this one apart from others though, is that there’s a little community of people on there also. You can read their stories, reach out to them, share experiences. It’s truly an amazing, safe place to be able to celebrate how far you’ve come. PS- I love that the list of addictions aren’t just drugs and includes things that other people struggle with. Adding self-harm to that list was huge! Thank you so much for this app.

Group therapy in an app.. The function and design alone are very well done. I truly feel like I can be OPEN about my story to people like me in this app. At first I wondered why it took so long for my posts to actually post, but I believe it's because they are reviewed by actual human beings and not some algorithm. Which, only makes me feel genuinely cared for, supported, and safe. The ONLY thing I wish was available is the option to quickly/ directly acknowledge/like someone's comment on your post. You can comment back on your own post to reply, but I don't think they get a notification. How do they know I appreciate their input, insight, or kind words? Unless it exists and I am just missing it? Haha. Anyway, I take a star away for that, but I was going to give this app SIX stars anyway ;) .. For beautifully designing an environment where we can listen, share, encourage, and inspire. THANK YOU for giving this app to the world <3

Best app ever. When I downloaded this I figured it would be of little help and I would eventually end up deleting it. But I couldn’t have been more wrong. I’ve been struggling to stay sober for the past 14 years and this app has made such a difference this time around. It prompts you morning and night to reflect on why you are wanting to be sober, has a great clock for keeping track of your sober days, and a meeting schedule. You get to track your progress and write a daily log like a 10th step almost. It’s my second day using it and can tell already it’s going to be a very useful tool. Thanks for creating this app! You can even write a statement of why you want to stay sober so you won’t forget (I always forget why staying sober is worth it so I especially like this feature). You also have the option of uploading a photo with your statement. I uploaded a photo of myself while I was using. Seeing that terrifying photo is enough to remember the urgency of maintaining healthy habits and routines to stay sober. Good luck to anyone reading this-it works if you work it-as they say.

Great app! but here’s a suggestion. This is a pretty good app and I really recommend it, I don’t get that committed to many apps (including this sadly) but I’m trying to use more but it definitely works! My suggestion though is that there would be different things on the ‘list’ of addictions. Things more like “I have brushed my teeth every day for ——“ or “I’ve eaten every day for ——“ I think it would just be a nice addition to it and just give more options, if course there is the ‘custom’ thing you can choose but it doesn’t give much room to write the name (which doesn’t really matter but still) I think having more of those types of addictions listed would have more good types of community’s. I already really love the community in this app and I haven’t seen anything hateful yet, I don’t usually post anything but I like to read through other peoples’ posts on their progress :) it gives me more motivation which I definitely need

Goals. I enjoy this app a lot. It grounds me from my self-destructive tendencies. Although I have some bad days, this app has blessed me with knowing I can see light at the end of the tunnel. This app allows you set your intention before committing to your journey. There are daily check-ins, which are highly effective along with the motivational message afterwards. Regardless of the bad days, this app will cheer you on. There is a “Note” feature after completing your daily check-in, which I’ve found useful for jotting down my improvements and what I can do better. I’m noticing my triggers more. There’s also the ability to log your mood and rate the your difficultly, which is really nice, because I’m more aware of my thoughts. Every moment where I’m about to fall back into my ways, I’m reminded of the pledge I made for myself. Progress is not linear, and the road will be hard but not impossible. Sobriety is allowing me to reclaim my life again and this app is instrumental in staying sober. For anyone who’s struggling, please do not hesitate downloading this app. The best time is now. If you’re ready to commit with full force just yet, mentally prepare yourself and set a future date on the app for conquering your goals. Be patient with yourself, and good luck to everyone! ❤️❤️

one of the best apps on the store. this app has truly helped me change my life, quite literally. being able to view my progress, see other people’s stories, post my own stories if i wanted, the supportive community, customization, and a real-time tracker has helped me stay sober a TON. i really like being able to see the timer go up, it makes me glad to see progress being made quite literally by the second; if i’m being honest just this feature alone was a great push. this app is perfect, i can’t see a way to make it better than it is: it gets the job done flawlessly and will keep track of your progress, the rest of the job is up to you!!

Great community. With this app you can track multiple additions. It has a timer to see how long you have been clean. There is daily motivational quotes that have actually helped me feel better. There is also a daily review where you can rant about your day if you so choose so. My favorite part is that you can post in the community with people going through the same struggle of getting clean. I love seeing how far people are and I am so proud of them, staying clean is had and this community really helps. I have also posted a few times when I have relapsed my timer and was having a terrible day, I always get at least a little support that reminds me I am not alone. Each time I fail, I am at least a little better next time. The whole situation is different for everyone, so it may take longer or shorter to get fully clean, but I would highly suggest this app right here, extremely helpful.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I’ve always been looking for an app to help me kick several addictions. If you’re like me and have tried a bunch of different ones and have never found your calling, look no further. This app has so many amazing features, like a live clock that tracks your sobriety down to the second. The reminder that you are making progress, even if it’s just been 20 minutes plus a few seconds, that truly serves as a helper for me. You can also add a picture and a message as to why you want to get sober. I have a picture of my girlfriend on there and it helps so much seeing her and knowing how proud she is of me that I’m working so hard to improve myself. There’s also a community page where you can post your struggles and people can shoot you supportive emojis and comments. The price is also very reasonable. If you provide a good product, I have no issue at all paying for it. In fact, I think you should pay for anything that brings you value as a thank you to the people who provide the service. However, many of these types of apps ridiculously overcharge you. This one is different. $4.99/month is extremely fair and reasonable. To the developers, I just want to say thank you for creating this app This is a service that will help a ton of people if they just give it a chance.

It has helped keep me motivated.. It’s a very simple yet powerful app that goes into great detail about your addiction. Besides telling you how long you have been sober, it asks you to make pledges, it gives you motivational prices for the day. It tells you how much money you have saved, you can rate your day by how you feel and then it asks what you did that day so it can statistically track what causes your hardest days and you can try to avoid things that cause you to want to relapse. It gives you milestones and you can say how you’re feeling that milestone and compare to how others have felt when they reached it, positive and negative symptoms. It’s just a very well designed app that has continued support and updates and it really makes you feel accomplished every time you open it. It helps me a lot. I advise at least trying it and good luck on your path to sobriety!

I am sober. I cannot stress about this app, it helps me so much when I’m anxious seeing other people be so excited about their goals and accomplishments, and seeing others fall and hoping to rise back at the top because of the challenges that they’re going through in their every day lives, it’s like a therapy group, a big community and I know what everybody thinks when they hear therapy but they don’t try to exactly talk you out of your life decisions, they don’t judge or criticize it’s a welcoming community, you don’t have to talk to them daily or weekly you don’t have to interact, I love the simplicity of it the knowing that I do not need to feel judged or miss placed! I am now 11 days, 16 hours, and 31 minutes sober from Self-harming!

This app has so many awesome things about it!!. This is a pretty cool app actually. It’s awesome because you can track multiple addictions. Like for me I’m in recovery for alcohol and drugs but I also quit smoking like a month into my recovery so now I can also track that. It lets you put in how much you think you spent a day on your addiction in both money and hours and it’s pretty cool to see how much I’ve saved money wise. I had no idea how much I was spending a day on drugs and cigarettes. It blows my mind! It also sends you positive quotes and motivational quotes. You can buy extra packs of motivation for like a dollar and the one I got gives me exercises to try every once in a while. But I think the coolest part about it is it lets you review your day at the end of the day and you get to say whether or not you made your pledge how the day went from impossible to easy and then you put what activities you’ve done and then it gives you like a little text journal and you can journal a little bit about your day. Yesterday was a really hard day for me and after I submitted it it has a pop up that said “it’s tough. We’re rooting for you!” And I thought that was pretty cool. Little things like that make me happy. It also calculates milestones and shows you how many other people are teaching that milestone with you. I mean this app has so many awesome things about it! Just download the app and try it out and you’ll see just how awesome it is!! (:

This is the app you’re looking for. I finally found a free app that will help to track your progress. It had a lot of different addictions to choose from. It helps to have a why remind you everyday of why you want to kick whatever habit you want to get rid of. The biggest thing for me is the community. People who are on the same journey you are posting and commenting about what they are going through and people sharing uplifting stories. You can also help to encourage and uplift other people who are going through the same thing you are. I felt like I didn’t have any help at all and was ashamed to talk about my addiction with people. With this app I feel like I can truly be free of my addiction.

No widget without subscription. this app has been recommended to me by quite a few people, so i figured i would give it a shot. so far, i’m liking it. i like being able to see my progress as a reminder that i’ve made it, even if it is only a few days. the only thing i wish was different, is i wish we didn’t have to pay to be able to put the widget on the home screen. for me, it would make it a lot easier cause i wouldn’t have to always unlock my phone or even search for the app. i can swipe to where the widget would be quite quickly and then continue going about my day, cause sometimes i just need that little reminder. i hope the developers would consider this in future updates, cause it would definitely make this app a lot more convenient, especially for people constantly on the move

Groups need a lot of work. I would rate it higher but I find the group feature to Have some really big issues. The first being that the general section to type messages to the group is always flooded with notifications of different people’s milestones, resets, commits for the day, etc. Sure, you can adjust what notifications you see but many are on by default and most people probably don’t even know you can. The problem with this flood of notifications is that actual discussion and support between members is usually dead because you could type a message and it may be buried within just a few hours and nobody sees it. My group came to the point of almost nobody even bothering to talk with each other because of this. The solution would be for notification to be in a completely separate tab in the group, and for the chat to be for chat and that’s it. There also needs to be a way to see what a group is basically about if you get sent an invite. Currently there is no way to know you just accept or decline. Should be like a page you can get some general info on the group before you accept or deny

Positive and helpful tool for staying sober. This app helps track your sobriety and to remind you of the reasons you want sobriety in your life. The daily encouragement and accountability it provides are a good compliment to other treatments and/or support groups. It also allows you to track the specific ways in which your life is improving as a result of sobriety, along with the aspects of life that may be more challenging, and it shows you, anonymously, how many others are experiencing the same “symptoms” in their lives at the same point in their recovery. I really like the daily pledge, which links me to photo of myself and my affirmative statement about why I, personally, want to maintain my sobriety, as well as the positive/inspiring thought for the day. I have not experienced any glitches or other issues with this app. It is a high quality tool for good living.

One small thing. This app is helping me stay focused on my goal to quit smoking cigarettes, one of my favorite things is that you can put a picture along with a Reason/motivation for staying sober (in my case I am just trying to quit cigarettes but there are many options for other types of addictions). Looking at that really helps lift me up and feel more positive about my quitting goals. One small thing I would love to change if I could would be to put that picture and Reason for quitting at the top of the screen so I don’t have to scroll all the way down to see it. A lot of the time I’ll open the app just to look at that to give me a little push through any urges I might be having throughout the day.

This app is here for you. When starting this account, I was skeptical as to whether me not using the pro feature would hinder my experience making me try using a different app. This wasn’t the case in the slightest. Yes, there are features not available with a basic account, but all that comes with it is more than enough to get you on the right track to sobriety. This app makes you feel like you aren’t alone in your struggles. With an entire community of people just like you, it’s incredibly easy to open up about your experiences and questions that others can read and reply to. My favorite part of this app in particular are the daily pledges you take in the morning and review at night. This feature allows to remember WHY your committing to this and to evaluate your feelings and thoughts through the day. There’s no doubt that the developers put very much effort into the UI design and user friendliness, but more importantly, they made sure this app was a community dedicated helping people reach their goals together. I’m still a current member on this app and do see myself leaving any time soon.

Love this App!!!!. Currently going through the process of getting sober. I’m in A.A., I’m seeking counseling and I’m working hard. I downloaded this app on a whim and wow! I love it! It keeps me even more focused than just a meeting or two, sometimes three a day 😂! It’s motivational and really helps you track all the stages of your progress. I paid for the monthly subscription and I’m not looking back. You can track how you’re feeling with each milestone. You can win free motivational packs for sober streaks. You can track daily and privately how you felt on that exact day and look back on it at anytime. You have a community of people who are right at the same milestone you’re at to talk to on a feed. It estimates how much money you’re saving based on what you think you spent on average everyday. It’s been two weeks and I’ve saved $244 and that’s at the low end of my estimate not including my $60plus binge nights. All in all this app really does help if you really are in it to win it!

I LOVE LOVE this app!!. I went to treatment for alcohol addiction and depression this past summer and I downloaded this app when I got home. I downloaded several sobriety tracker apps but this is the only one that I ended up keeping. I love being able to pledge everyday to a picture and sentence that I made as my reason to stay sober. At the end of the day I get a notification reminding me to review my day, asking if I stuck to my pledge, my feelings or mood and the difficulty of keeping my pledge for that day. Then I get a chance to write whatever I want as a journal entry. So it’s cool to go back and look at my previous entries to see my progress. One of my other favorite parts are the inspirational daily quotes. You start out with a pack of quotes everyday for the month and then you have to earn the next pack but staying sober for a certain amount of time. I get excited to go in and pledge everyday so I can see what my quotes for the day are! I even bought several other quote packs because I love them so much! This app has definitely kept me on track and motivated. I’ve been sober for almost 8 months now and I feel better than I’ve felt in 16 years. This app helps you rock the heck out of your sobriety! Highly recommended!

This isn’t used like it’s suppose to. This is an amazing app, I love how it encourages others to become sober and lets you see all of the days and months you been clean. But I just got the app and had to flag 17 posts in the community section because they were inappropriate. There are so many kids going on this app saying things like (TW) “PLEASE SOMEONE KILL ME ILL PAY YOU 6 BUCKS” (TW over) which I feel makes a mockery of those who are in this to actually get help. These sections aren’t monitored which I think is horrible, I went into a panic attack and started crying because I relapsed, found this app wanting help, and yet was made a mockery of by kids who shouldn’t be using this app because they posted triggering content that didn’t even belong in the community section. These sections should be monitored more, I don’t want to report a million posts because it’s excessive but I do it for the safety of others who go into that app wanting help. This is literally my only issue with the app! Everything else is amazing. Please fix this.

This app is phenomenal, as well as the customer service!. First off, I just want to say I’ve had Apple products since one of the first iPod Touches came out and I don’t think I’ve ever written a review in the App Store surprisingly. However, I wanted to take the time to say how amazing this app is. It lets you track your addictions, and not just drugs/alcohol/substances. There are SO many listed, such as eating disorders, skin picking/nail biting, etc., which I struggle with. I haven’t looked into creating “custom” ones because there are SO MANY already listed, but I’m sure that’s an option! Even with the free version, you get so many features. It’s very motivating, and you can make daily pledges and whatnot, which is so cool! I love that it shows you your milestones too. Also, I emailed customer service/support about a concern, and I wanted to give a special shout-out to Kelsi. They resolved my issue and truly went ABOVE AND BEYOND which was more than I could ever ask for with my recovery process. Thank you to the creators, customer support team, and everyone who keeps this app going. You all are amazing. ♥️

Supportive and Inspirational App. I love this app it has helped me and is helping me everyday I post my pledge and commit myself everyday to staying clean the people on this app are very supportive and very inspirational we are all in this battle of addiction together and your never alone on this app so whoever created this app and put it together I give you 100 stars ⭐️ if I could 🙏🏽🙏🏽 Unfortunately I’ve outgrown this app!!! I’m still tracking my progress just not with this app anymore I just didn’t know who was being honest about their sobriety or who was faking it which isn’t my concern my concern is myself so that’s why I’m tracking my progress elsewhere because I know that I’m authentic and honest 🙏🏽❤️

Love this app <3 seriously. I just had to come and write this review. My favorite feature of the app that I’ve been sleeping on is the little workbook feature. Where it asks really provoking questions that help you examine your addiction from different angles. Questions like “what are things you do to hide your addiction from your loved ones” “times you wish you didn’t say yes and boundaries you wish to set with people in your life that further your addiction” “things in your environment that hinder your progress in sobriety”. It feels wonderful just typing out all your thoughts on how these things are effecting you and your addiction. Venting about my current situation and how difficult it is and frustrating and how my addiction feels it’s all so relieving and enlightening. Such a wonderful tool in recovery. Really needed this after getting down on myself during a relapse.

Please consider. This app is totally amazing. Very well developed and thought out. Great concepts. But man oh man a subscription is just the wrong way to go. I understand the need to make money but making this a one time purchase would be a 5 star no brainer for me. In fact the free version is almost enough but I can only track 2 addictions and I have a few I would love to track. I can’t understand how paying is helping anyone with that. Some peoples addiction is even gambling so paying to get help doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. I would totally pay $10 flat out for this app and I bet a lot of the 1 star reviews would as well. If you have to throw some ads in the social feed I could handle that too. But a subscription just feels like a money grab to me in the hopes people will forget about it. Super bummed there isn’t a flat out fee and I’ll have my eye out for other apps to help me track my other addictions this app won’t let me track.

If you are a parent or want to be aware, PLEASE read this.. The overall app is amazing. I love the setup, the prices, and it’s just a great app… but the community is toxic. Day 2 and I’ve seen over 8 comments talking and making fun of p0rnographic addictions/harassment. I have since blocked every comment I see like this, but they keep popping up. There are women who show off intimates, inappropriate clothing/scenes, and just overall toxicity and disrespect. I’m 15 years old and I struggle with with sort of thing. Seeing people make fun of it like it’s a joke to be tossed around hurts… I love the app. There are also comments encouraging people to self harm, and giving ways to hide it from family and also ways to hurt yourself MORE. I can’t stand to go on the community page anymore because of the people. Some people take it seriously, and I don’t want to be the person that gets offended by everything. But commenting and making fun of things people are STRUGGLING with on an app that is supposed to HELP with that, is not okay. The guidelines say strictly not to do this, and yet it’s completely uncensored and unsupervised (to my knowledge). I’m leaving the community page to avoid the drama going on there. But if the people who made this app are reading this, please be aware of this and create stricter chats. I love this app too much to get rid of it, and it motivates me and makes me feel cared for. The ONLY thing bothering me is the community. If you read this far, just be aware.

Ow. I’m literally so sad I deleted the app ig (i don’t remember doing it honestly ) I do that for storage how ever I forget what happens when you do that and I went to update my feelings and stuff and when I told you when I lot everything my dates for how long I’ve been clean all my notes and programs I put down or not good feelings when I realize that it was deleted and I lost everything my heart dropped everything is messed up everything I did that was so important to me is gone but my posts and i didn’t post that much I literally sobbed about it and I know it may sound stupid to others but everything on there all the information and things I had were so important to me i don’t even know exactly how long I have been clean like the actual date and it is struggling me out so much I don’t wanna even do this anymore like my brain is all over the place it was my journal and I just want a way to get it all back

Amazing App - Suggestion for the developer. First of all, I love this app to bits I’ve been using it for years and has been a vital part of my recovery. The community is supportive and great and I’ve seen it come such a long way in terms of functionality. I joined back in 2016 when it was relatively new and just gave you a timer, an inspirational quote and maybe a couple other things. I love that the community aspect has been incorporated into the app. But if there was a way to log the notifications somewhere within the app, rather than solely through my homescreen, it would be helpful. Sometimes I’ll want to reference a comment I made on another’s post and have to spend quite some time trying to find it. Just a suggestion! Anyway, I love the good work these developers do.

Accountability app. I’m so glad I discovered this app after I had been struggling to stop smoking cigarettes for several months. Even with patches, I was backsliding every 3 days. This is a great way to be accountable for your addiction. I think about smoking and then I look at the app widget and then I calm down and find something else to do. As of today, I am 8 days tobacco-free cold turkey. I plan on to continue using this app to wean my other addictions. Thank you so much for this! 10/10 recommendation for anyone struggling with an addiction and even if you have a good support system, it’s nice to have a reminder that you have to be mindful of your success and how far you’ve already gone. Take it one day at a time❤️

community tab ACTIVELY DETRIMENTAL to sobriety. an app to track sobriety for anything is a great and helpful tool. but the social aspect of this app is ACTIVELY DETRIMENTAL. no one on day 0 should be reading other people’s depressing day 0 posts, and yet that is exactly what you are drawn to do. this is the case for any addiction. probably the worst, though, is self harm. people post very, very dark things on day 0. the LAST THING someone who’s just hurt themselves needs to see is the types of things people post in the self harm community. it’s not only a problem in day 0, either- any of the milestones have some really dark things posted which someone struggling with self harm really shouldn’t be reading. who in the world thought it was a good idea to take a bunch of people struggling with depression, suicidal thoughts, etc. and have them interact with only each other, relatively unmonitored?! i cannot restate how awful this would be for someone still trying to go sober.

This app is changing the game for me!. I love this app. It feels designed by someone who has struggled with substance use. The best part about this app is it is focused on Motivation, rather than just tracking time spent sober. Each day you make a pledge and you follow up on that pledge that night. In the app, you make a sort of vision board to answer "why do i want to be sober" and honestly it's been the most helpful thing. And so much more. It's also great for self-discovery. Track your physical and emotional/mental changes and see how they correlate with your substance use. Use their workbook feature to quickly reflect each day using their prompts (which i actually like). I had 1 piece of constructive feedback, but it turns out they already had the feature built in! It's a great app :)

Quitting Gamified. I have a bunch of addictions I've either recovered from or am working on recovery, and this is the only app that not only supports my healing process, but encourages it. I'm able to enter several of my own motivational phrases that appear every day that I "pledge" and also on the main screen at any time. The app also has several packs of motivational phrases, which are surprisingly relatable and not super cheesy. It's also a pretty decent mood diary. I never was able to get into AA because of the heavy religious tones and the pressure of publicly discussing my addictions in front of a group. With this app, there's a sense of anonymity, and there's a lot of room to personally explore the reasoning behind your own addictions and express your frustration. Also, I finally get my chips!! This app has made me totally rich in chips, it gives you them retroactively if you enter a start date in the past, and the goalposts are pretty frequent, especially at the beginning. You can also customize the chips with a picture and description, which is really sentimental for me. Just make sure you pay for premium before switching phones, or you'll lose all your old customizations.

Frustrating Experience. As someone who is trying to recover this app helps with the basics. And for its basic features, I would give it a 5-star rating. Yet the community section is quite concerning. A lot of these people are children and it’s just frustrating seeing them talk about vaping and self-harm etc. Not only that but a lot of the stories are very attention-seeking and made up? I mean I understand things are rough at home. But going onto an app where adults are discussing sobriety and their journey. It’s not a child-safe environment. There should be an age restriction. Or some way of monitoring how many children genuinely use the app. It’s scary how they treat it like Instagram or a regular social media app, it’s not TikTok. It’s a sobriety app. I don't know if parents stopped checking children's phones to see their child complaining about how their $50 cotton candy vape died.....but maybe they should start checking again because It's something else.

Thank you.. I never write reviews, so I apologize if this isn’t even close to being good. I love this app. I want to thank the makers of this so much. This app has helped me a lot during my journey of staying sober. My favorite thing about this app is the part where I can write about my feelings and my day. I’ve been raised not being able to talk about my feelings, so it’s very hard for me to express them. Especially because I’m a teenager. This app allows me to let out everything and it actually makes me feel better. I love how the app encourages me to stay sober. I’ve been in really bad places and the only thing that has helped me is music, and this app. Again, thank you so much for making this app. I know it’s helped a lot of people, and I’m super grateful for it. 🫶🏻

10/10. i’ve never reviewed an app before, but i truly believe this one deserves it. after five years of vaping, i have been NICOTINE FREE for six months now!!! i am sober has all of the resources necessary to break a bad habit— you can review your reasons for quitting, track your progress and money saved, and communicate with others who are trying to quit (this was my favorite part, reading encouragements from others in the same boat and sharing tips for staying clean). it’s not magic… you do have to commit to change and put in effort on your own. but needless to say it definitely helped me stay on track :) all around a great app with a great community of people who are trying to get better. AND I CAN RUN AGAIN!!!!!!

One of many useful tools for abstaining from alcohol. Surely the app has nothing to do with actually staying sober. Of course the answer lies in one’s mind and free will. This app is pretty darn cool. I allows you to track how many days you’ve abstained from alcohol, shows the amount of money you’ve saved by not drinking, and the empty calories you haven’t invested. Not only does it hold you to some level of accountability by making daily pledges, it allows you to leave notes on changes you’ve noticed, also a sort of journal for reasons you stopped drinking. Not to mention the daily motivational quotes, that can be truly helpful in keeping a person positive with kind words that keep the spirits up. There’s more to it but in the 12 days I’ve stayed sober this app has been a daily value to my recovery from alcohol. To the makers of the app, we’ll done old chaps, my hat goes off to you for a job well done!

Great app! But beware…. It has a lot of great features like a habit tracker, journal, groups if you receive an invite or decide to buy the subscription (even though the free version is good enough). It was definitely heartwarming to see other people who used to struggle with an addiction just like you make it break through eventually. The last good thing I have to say is that you’re given an opportunity to help other people overcome their addiction as well, which is just as important as helping yourself. That being said, I have two major concerns with this app. Firstly, while the habit tracker is a good feature to have, it’s easy to get caught up with it and think that once you lost your streak, all your progress is gone. That’s not true at all! The second thing is that it’s easy to become addicted and not realize it. Doesn’t it defeat the purpose if you become addicted to something else while trying to overcome an addiction? Overall, I’m still very satisfied with this app because I was able to get support from other people and reach out to the community. However, I uninstalled it because I realized how addicted I’ve become to it lately.

Only thing that has helped my trichotillomania. It’s the only thing that’s kept me in check from pulling my lashes. Right now i’m over 50 days clean and my lashes are growing more than ever! I love being able to track everything daily from my mood that day, write down what I did, etc. It’s very simple and keeps me in check everyday. My habit of pulling is slowly going away. When I started I was almost bald on my eyes. There’s no guarantee of success, but it’s made me put my attention onto other things and focus on what I really want; no more trich and beautiful lashes back. I love the affirmations this app gives you as well, they actually helped put some things into perspective for me. They aren’t cheesy lame ones. I love I Am Sober!

Forever a game changer. Couldn’t get myself to quit porn and my drinking habits. I got sick and tired of living in constant stress and depression, wondering if there will ever be a time in my life to be myself at my true potential. Porn changed the way I saw women and how I interacted with them on a daily basis and I just felt like a unwanted tool. I got in a relationship and proved porn was still the most damaging, but also quite possibly the most consuming addiction as it was all I couldn’t think about even when I had a perfect 10/10 GF. This app helped me physically see and track my steps so I didn’t feel so lost and like my effort to not pleasure myself wasn’t just for nothing. I recommended to true even if you fail a few times. Seeing progress form each relapse can change a whole person’s perspective for life. 🙏

I LOVE THIS APP buuuutttt. I love this app so much, it is the only thing that keeps me clean and motivated. Tomorrow I will be a month clean from nicotine, and it has really helped me so much seeing how far I have made it in my recovery journey! The only thing I wish they would change is allow people the chance to reply to comments from people so we can actually engage with others; however, at the same time, I know some people are just not very good people and would use that feature for bad. Maybe they can come up with a word filtering feature or something to make sure comments stay motivating and kind? I don’t know… but it’s a great app nonetheless!!! Thank you to everyone who helped make this app possible for helping ME get clean this time. All my love goes to you!

Need some extra motivation to kick a habit for good!? Get this app. I have tried and failed to quit smoking for the last 5 years. My sister told me about this app, I downloaded it right away and I am so happy with it! I’m on day 5 of being smoke free 🚫🚬🙌☺️🕊 Being able to track your progress with multiple additions (the free version you can track 3 addictions) Being able to see the amount of time you have gone without a cigarette or whatever habit your trying to get rid of. I look at the time that iv already gone without and say well I can go another minute which turns into another hour which turns into another day 🙌 I’m also working on giving up gluten and there is a tracker for gluten and many others. Example: cigarettes , junk food, self harm, drugs, alcohol , gluten a bunch of other option I feel like this app gives me the extra encouragement I need! This is the longest I have gone (by choice) without smoking cigarettes It is possible it is worth another shot to quit!! Great app , I DEFINITELY recommend it I feel a new sense of self control I never thought I had! It’s really exciting I’m konmarie’n my addictions! If they don’t spark joy, ditch them. Live a better life !! I LOVE this app ♥️🥰🙏🕊 I haven’t felt this good in so long 💪

I don’t recommend this app unless you only plan to use it for a tracker, and not support.. I’ve had this app since 2020. The nice thing it did was I could see other peoples stories who were dealing with similar things as me. At first, there was a problem with no trigger warnings or graphic detail or pictures, but the app dealt with that. So we were good. Then they got rid of being able to post more than once a day(unless you paid for the premium). This sucked bc I rlly needed support some days or needed to rant and I couldn’t because apparently once a day is all you need. I was able to live with this though. What took me over the edge was how they now make you pledge 5 times if you want to see other peoples posts. Personally, seeing peoples posts and being able to comment and give advice was encouraging and therapeutic for me. Now I have to wait five days straight, assuming I don’t forget a day, to see them. It’s forcing the users to make a promise most aren’t ready to keep. This type of stuff makes people feel crappy about themselves or doesn’t help them when they’re crying and just reset the clock and need to see some support. If there’s another app you can use, I recommend that.

I LOVE IT. I love this app because You got to say and express how you’re feeling without anyone knowing you and no one is judging you because everyone else is going through what you’re going through and everyone supportive some people tell jokes and some people tell her story is this a great app to tell people your life and to make sure that you don’t do anything bad to know that you have support without anyone looking down on you are treating me like a baby because you do something that you shouldn’t I love it so much everyone a supportive people use your pronouns people except you and you don’t have to know them if you don’t want to so it’s like everyone knows nose and it’s just a great way to keep track and it has great things you can say how you’re feeling if you say your thoughts of the day you could say how hard it was to keep your street you can pledge every day you can see your streak you can see it and lots of different ways you can add new things it’s just such a good app and I definitely recommend getting it if you’re struggling or if you just need to talk it’s not like therapy though so don’t worry about that

Solidarity and a sense of community. This app tracks your days, asks reflection questions, offers encouragement and inspiration, tracks money saved, AND! The best part! Is that you see (a) THAT you’re not alone in your journey (how many people are at the same level of progress as you) AND (b) the stories of people who are celebrating their progress or struggling. There are daily prompts you can answer, and all sorts of opportunities to practice pride and gratitude for yourself and the direction you’re heading, which is key to growth and change. I really appreciate this resource, especially since I want to be connected with a recovery centered community yet feel uncomfortable with the 12 step group mindsets I’ve encountered and their cult-like codependency and all-or-nothing deficit-based motivation. I’d like to find a group that isn’t like that, but I haven’t yet… so in the meantime, I appreciate the opportunity of this app.

Basic functions and easy to use!. In todays world everything has been made over complicated and excessive. Not this app! It’s easy to use and a great way to check in on your own journey to a better life and at the speed of your choice. It’s not in your face every second if you don’t want it too be. After becoming sober from alcohol for 2.5 years. I can honestly say this app has been just as helpful then as it is now. I didn’t use the community side of this app but I can see where for some people it could be helpful. With the right combination of healthy decisions, friends, family and the right attitude, this app can help to change anybody’s life for the better. I would like to thank the developers of this app for giving me a tool to help me on my own personal journey and I hope that others have the success that I have had. Stay positive!!!!

Weirdly, it works!. I decided to try going a few months without alcohol, mostly just to see if I could. A friend suggested this app and despite being skeptical I installed it and have been giving it a go. I don't know why but it's worked for me very well indeed. I doesn't do much more than track how long since you admit last having had a drink and congratulate you for achieving milestones, but it really has helped me get through a couple of shakes moments. Give it a try.

Loving this app. Keeps me accountable. I’ve been in AA for 6 years. I’ve experienced 18 months and 2 years sobriety. However, I relapsed at my 2 year mark and since then I’ve relapsed 3 times. I was shown this app recently while I was in detox. I love the 2 reminders, reminding me to read my pledges. One of them is to go back to AA. As when I had substantial sobriety I stayed sober. So AA with this app will definitely help me.

Awesome app. This app doesn’t just help people but it motivates people. It’s the quickest way to stop habits. This app has helped me so much, it’s literally online therapy. And to make you feel better it shows a bunch of people who are on the same level as you. It lets you know that you’re not alone. It helps people to keep fighting and makes people strong. Everyone has something they can’t control to big and small habits and this app is literally programmed to help you ho through it. I have no problems with this app at all. It makes me happy even when I restart it because I know there’s other people who also restarted it and I’m not the only one struggling. The app also doesn’t send 1000 annoying notifications, it simply ask how was your day, how your doing and your new daily pledges. This app is everything. 11/10 app.

Blown away with how amazing this app is. I honestly can’t even put into words how much this app has helped me, it is so encouraging and empowering and I’ve never stayed sober for as long as I have until I got this app. It’s so worth it. And I’ve never found an app that is so thorough and in-depth I would recommend it to literally anyone who is struggling with any kind of addiction. The people who made this app obviously really care about their users, and that in itself makes me feel understood and NOT ALONE in my battle. I love it!!

Highly recommend. Extremely helpful app to keep track of how far you’ve come. It also places you into a small community of like minded people whom are quitting the same substances that you are and who’ve quit on the same day as you. The community is full of love, empathy and understanding. Made even my hardest days feel better

I changed my behaviour using this app. This app does a great job of keeping your mind in the right place. There’s a big focus on positivity, and I love the effort they make to celebrate the start of each day. I needed to put a hard stop on some behaviour, I’m a cynic, and I’m still surprised and impressed at how easy and effective this app was to use and succeed with. Without any other help or tools, this app helped me stay completely sober for 2 months straight. I value the journal I created each day. It re-enforced how important my kids are and helped me get my mind back on track. Would highly recommend giving it a go. Do it.

Really helpful app.. I’ve found that having my sober days counted up has really helped me not to slip up. There have been a few times that I’ve ALMOST caved and had ‘just one drink’ but not wanting to start my count from scratch has stopped me. I’m 5 weeks in, but my friend who recommended the app is nearly 3 years in and that’s given me something to aspire to. Highly recommend.

Its a really good app just a few suggestions. I really like this app it helps me know how long i've been clean for and I can read others stories. But may I suggest you could let people work on multiple addictions at the same time rather then one. The other one is add a few games or activities to do when we feel like relapsing to distract us from doing relapsing.

Accountability. This app is beautiful. It keeps you accountable and there is a community you can talk too. You see who is on the same recovery days as you and most of the time you’re all going through the same experience. Thank you whoever created this app, it’s helped me on my journey to recovery.

Best sober app ever. If you are looking for something to help motivate you on your journey to sobriety PLEASE download this app. Two of my favourite features on this app is the community board. They actually have seperate threads depending on how many days you’ve been sober, so can post and see others posts who are on the same day as you. The community board is generally a pretty positive, safe and supportive space which means I never feel uncomfortable sharing, I always get really supportive comments and feedback. My second favourite feature is how the app tracks how long you’ve been sober for. Not only does it show the days, it shows the hours l, minutes and seconds. I find this SO motivating because especially in the beginning, every second, minute, hour counts so much. And it’s so good to be able to go into the app and see the progression in front of your eyes. Another thing I love about this app is it encourages you to pledge each day and report back at the end of it. And you get to do a little journal entry about how your day went, how you felt etc, along with three additional entry prompts for you to think/write about. I found actually doing this every day helped a lot by providing insight into my thoughts and feelings I’d never really looked at before.

Everything it needs to be. The design is simple but elegant, the pledge system is a great way to keep motivated, the ability to communicate with people in the exact same spot as you is amazing - not only in what they are trying to overcome but in the time as well. So far I have not ran into any paywalls, any content locked off is purely for bonus features. It’s a really well designed app that is helping people be their best

Best app there is around this iTunes. Absolutely fantastic for people who are quitting and need that extra little bit of help (it offers way more than a little bit) it has honestly helped me so much, alcohol specifically... I have been sober 8 days and it counts it down to the very second... it helps with any drug of your choice of poison with a great community and all round amazing I’d give it 11/10 if I good. (THANK YOU TO THE CREATORS!!!!!) 💞

great app but DO NOT enter community board. The app itself is really great, super motivating and helpful such an awesome premise that really holds you accountable and gives you a sense of achievement. My issue is the community board. When i first gained access to this board i thought it would be people supporting each other and talking about their progress - however every single message i saw was people talking about the details of their relapse, why they hate themselves, how they plan to commit and signing off as they say they’re about to commit. Incredibly triggering stuff. I understand having a space to vent is incredibly important but this was over the top and clearly there is no moderation. At the very least there should be filters for these kinds of posts so they’re not the first things you see upon swiping. People outlining sh and death methods should not be allowed to remain up on the community board, it is causing more people to relapse. knowing countless of these messages are public just a swipe away on the app has really sullied my experience and makes me fear for the well-being of other users. i do genuinely recommend this app but please please please do not enter the community board if you’re in a fragile mental state.

A friend. This app helped me in so many ways! I was a big drinker of 14 years and with this app it helped me stop and be clean now 12 days! And wow my life has changed! This app gives you motivation! Goals! Support. Everything you don’t get when you have an addiction! And because of this lack of support I used to drink. Now I have a happy life amazing family! Work is going on the correct direction and guess what! Money in the bank omg that is one of the best feelings in the world. Remember one step at a time.

Worth downloading & using. Just wish free version allowed tracking of 2 addictions.. Very Good, No Annoying & Pointless Notifications. Calculates interesting and useful statistics and is happy to run in the background without daily checking in, only need to manually update if habit/lapse/change. Only reason I’ve rated 4 stars is because I wish the free version would allow 2 separate addictions to be managed instead of just 1 selection from the list. Really really app & developers deserve 5 stars, and usually I would purchase ongoing subscription or buy app (which allows up to 10 addictions to be managed) but the subscription options and costs are a lot more expensive than I would have expected or would be willing to pay. Free version is still very sufficient though and a good app to have, the best of its type that I have found.

I don’t know what to say. Hey, I downloaded this app because I saw it on tiktok. Best decision I have made. Unlike other apps, the creator is not only trying to make money and leave, but it feels like they really DO care, because back to my point, best decision I have ever made. It just keeps you going no matter what your goal is. It gives you affirmations when you fail, succeed and even when you open the app. It’s really great and straight forward, really. Message: try it out. If you have to try a million remedies to help you recover and turn away from whatever it is you want to turn away from, then let this be one of your options. It’s free. And most importantly, it might be the one to help you get there. Thank you.

10\10 no flaws. This is probably the best app i have ever downloaded. I have now been clean for 7 days because of this app and it keeps me smiling at my phone when i see how long i have been clean for. Along with tracking, it sends you positive quotes and remind you why you are staying clean, and why it is the right thing to do. If you are struggling with any addictions this app will be perfect because it really motivates you to stop. Im sure that if you download it you wont regret it.

Really makes a difference. I’ve found this app to be one of the few that I actually use on a daily basis. My only gripe is that on the Home Screen it’s named ‘I am sober’, and for this reason I’m giving it 4 stars. It may seem like a minor gripe (and it is) but I use my phone regularly in the workplace, and I don’t want people to see that thinking I’m an alcoholic; I’m using the app to break a sugar intake habit. The app itself however does exactly what it says on the tin and has really made a big difference to my unhealthy habits, so thank you!

I don’t understand what I am paying for?. I downloaded this App thinking it would give me Much more then just seeing the amount of days I have been sober for. I can use a calendar for that. It doesn’t give you any kind of motivational anything. Other Apps tell you exactly what is going on with your body after 5 days of not drinking, for example how your liver is healing, your Brain fog ETC. The other Apps also have courses you can do and much more . I am very confused what I am paying for and why there are so many people saying this is such a great App when it literally tells you nothing .

Such a great app. I use this app to help me with ed and self-harm and it has been great, and have a safe place to vent to with people going through the same things as you is really helpful, it’s not a toxic place and the rules put in place helps make the community safe so you don’t come across any disturbing things (like I have on other platforms) and even though there is a premium you get so much access in the normal app without premium! I really recommend this app

Meh. Its a fine app hoenstly it doesnt do much except to try motivate you but thats not the issue. My issue is i got permanently banned for posting on an underage account, i dont know what thats about bc i havent posted anything in months and not to mention this has never happened until now. It is one of the ways i am able to connect or even make friends as i do not know how to talk to others, now i want to understand why i am banned so please fix this and make it clear on what happened instead of giving me a pathetic little excuse/warning of what happened, i would love it if in the near future you actually consider giving a full explanation. I am very disappointed in this app and its abilities.

Just a suggestion/idea :). The community is chill and the app is pretty simple and easy to use :] But I do have a suggestion, when you scroll to see how many days you’ve been sober/clean, the ‘sober streak’ (without the white circle) could show your highest sober/clean streak? Like if you’ve been free from self-harm for maybe 3 months but you just relapsed you could scroll over and see that yknow you were clean for 3 months and that could motivate you to try again? I’ve been thinking it for awhile and I think it’ll motivate, not only me but others to try and beat the score? Just a suggestion :] Sorry if none do this makes sense lol it’s 3:43am and I haven’t had some food yet

This app is literally life saving. I’ve never written a review for an app, in fact I rarely have written a review for anything! I can not believe how helpful, and inspiring this app is. Reading others comments about their day to day progress and feelings makes me feel less alone and more supported. I wish everyone struggling with addiction finds this, and discovers the features as helpful as I do. Thank you to the people that designed this app!

Love it but needs to change. The app itself is amazing and works so well but the fact that there is a premium version kinda doesn’t sit well with me. Some people really need this tool but can’t use it to its full extent due to the cost. I just don’t like the idea that they are putting a price on health and it makes you feel devalued as a person as a what is most likely a corporate company using your pain to gain money, but saying this I know that to make an app of this quality this well they would need to pay bills/ expenses, so maybe if the company comes to a stage where they gain enough income from other sources they should really consider lifting the price (or even removing completely) for the premium version of the app.

it’s fine. this is me personally but sometimes i feel like the app is useless because i keep restarting but it is really great! You should totally get it :)! Just be aware that you can’t ask simple questions like someone’s favourite show because for some reason it gets deleted instantly, or maybe that’s just me idk at this point. (This probably sounds like a backhanded compliment but whatever)

Thank you. I never leave reviews on apps but I felt like I needed to with this one. Wow alll I can say, for someone dealing with addiction for the first time and not knowing where to turn to. This online community was one of the only things that got me through this. The app will help you be accountable. It opens your eyes to the fact that sometimes you maybe feeling alone and isolated almost like nobody would understand. I open this app and I love scrolling through reading everyone’s stories and being able to relate!!! I suffer from anxiety, depression and borderline personality disorder. This worked wonders for me and would recommend to anyone even thinking about coming clean or stopping a bad Habit! You got this 💓💓💓

Great supportive app!. This app is well designed, I like the features and the calculator, telling you exactly how much money you saved as well as the calories you’ve “avoided” digesting. I do however wish that I could add extra “savings” and “information” into the app without it coming up as a “daily spending”.

.. I love this app honestly, it helps me so much and although I’m not sober fully I have never been clean longer than I have since I started using this app, the only thing I would like different is being able to use the same account on multiple devices - like if I relapsed and I was on say an iPad or something I would be able to say I’ve relapsed on that and it would show that on my phone too - but overall a really great app and I 100% recommend

Good app but I wish I was able to use more then 2 trackers. At the moment I really am not doing well with my habits of things, I downloaded this app so I could stop these habits but since I have a lot of habits I can’t stop them all. And since I can only do up to 2 I can’t do that many and I would really love if I can do way more than that and I would also help me mentally because I’m not in a good mental state right now so if you have the time please read this and take this into consideration because I bought this app to improve and it’s saying to spend money if you want more trackers and a lot of people don’t have money to do that per month and lot of people are struggling mentally but they want to use trackers for heaps of things but they can’t so please please please take this into consideration thank you

A couple of suggestions. The app is great, but I really believe locked access should be a basic feature. I understand the need to have a paid version and incentivise people, but privacy is one of the most fundamental aspects of this journey for many people and extending this to your free users is the right thing to do. Secondly, and on a lighter note, it would be good if we could add notes/rewards/plans for future milestones. For example, I put down that when I reach 3 months, I get to buy some expensive shoes or I plan to tell a specific person. Then that note comes up when the milestone is reached. Anyway thank you for creating this. 💛

App is very positive and helpful. The app definitely helps me to see all the positive things about remaining to stay sober on a day to day level. Each morning it alerts me to look at my progress, money saved and calories less consumed. It has a great community and allows you to share your day to day results and feelings. It's great to see my progress and above day to day and read all the reminders why it's great to stay sober. I love all the reminders and actions/thoughts/suggestions and reasons why Sober is a better life!

100 DAYS. Today I am 100 Days sober from my addictions. My wife has a supportive, loving and caring husband for the first time in our relationship. My daughter has a father who can put food on the table and a roof over her head to protect and keep her safe and loved. I’m forever GRATEFUL for my friend Steve and his beautiful family who helped love me back to life and with his support and guidance over the last 100 days I’ve become the man I always wanted to be in addiction. Without the recovery I’ve been given by Steve and the AA fellowship I’d either be homeless or dead. I don’t have much today due to my addictions, but I have everything I need “ Family, friends, food and roof over our heads, love and Recovery!” One Day At A Time Awwwww Fuckkkkkkk Yeahhhhhh!! What the actual hell!. Hi I’m T, I downloaded I am sober about a month ago to track my Sobriety And such but deleted it after Relapsing. Now today as I try to Download it again It will not let me unless i put a password in and My bank details. I did And it still wouldn’t let me. I want to be able to Track How long I’ve been sober but Now I can’t because of this stupid Thing.

App not working properly. Hi there guys l have been using this app for almost two years now and never had a problem. At the moment there is a problem the app won’t upload anything to Facebook, so you can share your progress. Can you please fix the bug up thank you guys

One thing to add!. So I’ve been using this app since 2020 and I absolutely love it, but one feature that I think you should add is the replying feature? If someone comments on my milestone post I would want to reply to them but since I can I just type it in but they never respond🥲so if you could please add that, that would be amazing 💙💚

Honestly, So Good.. I’ve had trouble keeping myself from doing a few seemingly harmless little things and this app is really great for motivation when I’m mindlessly stressed or careless. A few of my friends used it for the good old $31F H4RM yk yk and I did too for a bit. I’ve been sober for a year and a half. Thank you for creating a safe place to motivate everyone who has used this app.

It’s helped me more than I can say. After a terrible experience booking into a residential rehab I returned home defeated and panicking. This app has helped me every step of the way since. It’s been a beacon and a stabiliser on this journey so far. Without it I doubt I would have had that thing I needed to hold me accountable and to also help my frame of mind to shift during the hard times. From the deepest depths of my heart I’d just like to say thank you to the devs. Your assistance has honestly been life changing is so so many ways!

Great app! However... “I am sober” is a good app to track and get motivation to not relapse on a mental health issue or to track addictions such as vaping, alcohol, etc. I recommend it to anyone who needs that support to not give up on trying to get healthy again. However, there is one thing I am a bit disappointed with. It doesn’t let you pick multiple addiction or mental health disorders so people can’t track all of their things they are trying to recover from. I found this to be the only red flag within this app. Overall great app ❤️

Support. This app was great, it had a community for about any addiction, it’s nice helps me keep track, one thing im not understanding is the banned for underage? i understand most of it but i’m quite upset because what about the teen who are struggling and can’t speak up and want to talk to others like them, this app was perfect for that, unfortunately it banned ppl under18 maybe for legal reasons but im just thinking about all the kids to teens to even young adults who are struggling and now this app is just a calendar to them instead of a safe space.

if your suicidal, you sh, or etc, please read. you need this app, I know it’s hard.. it seems impossible. But it’ll be worth it. You’ll find that spark, ignition of pure happiness and just joy. But to find it, you must take the first step. You must control the urge, it’ll seem hard and not worth it, but you must remember that there will be a light at the end of your flaming tunnel. You will have a story to tell great things are coming, but you must obtain them first. I really do hope the best of luck on your journey. Thank me later.

Thanks for this fantastic App. Today I’m now 2 weeks sober thanks to this app, the pledges help you through each day and very uplifting. You check in at the end of the day with your moods and what u are noticing each day and see how many people are having the same moods. It tracks your days sober AND money you have saved which is huge. Makes you accountable and the community well, so much support and no judgement. Looking forward to hopefully beating this addiction.

Sober app. This is a good app that helps me track how well I’m staying sober and it gives me the motivation sentence in the morning I love being able to put at the end of the day I'm still sober this app is a good way to help people stay sober because everyone has a goal and it’s good to be able to achieve it one day at a time watching how much we have grown

I Am Sober, 100% recommend!!!!!!!. this app is amazing!! it doesn’t just keep a track of your goal/s and how long you’ve been sober from a certain thing but you can get in contact with a community of other people struggling with the exact thing you are!! everyone is so understanding and supportive :)) 100% recommend this app!

Number one app of all time!. This app or should I say supportive community have saved my marriage and my life. So much more than I expected to get out of it. Easy to stay the course when you have like minded people who only want the best for you. Easy to follow navigation with a social side on which you can be as anonymous or real as you feel comfortable with! The only one that I’ve found that under promises and over delivers. Massive thanks to the developers and all involved in saving lives and getting people on the happy 😃 path.

amazing. this app is great, unlike a lot of other apps used to track how long you’ve been sober for, this app has a community. it has a great community with people who can relate to you since they’re battling the same addiction. i cant say it really helped me with staying clean, but the community made me feel like i wasn’t alone. this app has helped me to feel more validated and has taught me that it’s okay to get some help, whether that be talking to someone close to you about a difficult situation or just asking for a hug. i recommend this app to people trying to get sober from any type of addiction.

Banned for posting positivity.. POV u get permanently banned for being 15 yrs old when you’ve had the same account for three years. This sucked the positivity out of me. If anybody connected to the I am sober management sees this, I’m not even asking to be unbanned, I’m just disappointed. People need this app. People need the connections. I’m upset to say the least. There are 10 yr olds posting about their sobriety for a vast amount of the topics. That is obviously hard and disappointing but why would you not support them? Let them have a community and safety? Rude. Great app but bad management:)

Accountability. Going alcohol free has always been a struggle, the I Am Sober app has been amazing for me. Making a daily pledge to not drink and reviewing the situation at the end of every day has been great, keeping me accountable. Watching the alcohol free minutes, hours and days add up helps greatly with staying on track. Also reading others posts lets you know you’re not alone. Much better than trying to go it alone

Brilliant. This app is user-friendly and has been created in a thoughtful and easy to navigate way. I’m finding it helps to keep me accountable when it comes to my sobriety! You can customise it and choose different options, depending on your requirements. Would recommend to anyone trying to stop or reduce their alcohol intake. Very impressed!

Learn to live. If you don’t have time to go to specific meetings. IE, AA and the likes this is perfect, if you are feeling flat or tempted to turn to your old ways. Just look up on your phone and you’re in a virtual world of support. Thanks to a friend of mine who put me onto this. The best app I have downloaded! Keep up the good work. This site helps you not to give in to temptation...

No assessing your saved progress without premium on another phone. The app is overall good and I like the layout and the daliy pledges you have to make as it helps you to reassure yourself why your staying sober, however I recently got a new phone and dislike the fact that I have to purchase premium to continue my journey for being sober as I was using my old phone. Disappointed and unsure exactly how long I’ve been sober. Still keeping up the good work though no matter what.

My new life. Really enjoying this app.it has helped me alot and just kept things positive! I really thought it was a silly idea to try out but happy I did for sure

Great app. This is the best app I’ve found for helping with accountability for addiction. Great community of people helping each other to recover. And lots of useful features to keep you on track. Highly recommend if you’re struggling with sobriety.

I YNABt Queen. I I’ll Too c I I P r bet I

Amazing 🥹. With the help of this app I reached 4.2 months clean. I am so thankful to have found this app

Not free as advertised. This is not free as advertised on apple and many other websites. It has a monthly subscription or annual fee. The app is useless unless you pay.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful. Does exactly what you need on top of other cool features like the workbooks

I really like it. I personally struggle withhold self harm and this app really helps for an example I used to do it every couple hours now I am two weeks clean!

I love it. I find it really helpful even with the free version!! It keeps me accountable and motivated because it makes you pledge everyday then at the end of the day you review everything. There’s a “workbook” that’s kind of note point journal style or whatever you want it to be, that prompts your few questions a day to evaluate things in your life. There’s also a community of people in the same situation as you that comment anything from how they’re doing, questions, or motivating quotes. Overall It’s a really helpful app😊

Cost money now?. I downloaded this app two years ago when I stopped drinking and it was free, I used it to track my sobriety and believe it worked or helped, I lost my phone and got a new one and when I went to download the app it said it cost 40 dollars, what gives?

Thank you❤️❤️. It’s hard to keep up with stopping an addiction. This app really helped me. IVE BEEN 2 months free from my Ed ❤️❤️

Great App. It helps encourage me to remain sober and track my progress! I love it!

Hello <3. If you see this know that everyone have different problems and that yours are totally normal hope you live your life the best you can and know that you are perfect like you are.don’t change if it’s not for you

Very neat app but.... I really like this app the only problem is that there is no custom selection or an option for kleptomaniacs which i find disappointing seeing as they need help too. Other than that it’s a great app.

Motivant. J’aime bien cette app. Très motivant et inspirant

Hi. I am dom im 16 years old and lost my first job because of drinking alcohol every other hour and have given myself health problems, this app helped me distract myself from drinking and i have managed to get myself back on track and i have started training at the local mechanic shop and i am steady and i havent touched alcohol in 8 months!

I am proud of you. 4 months <3 and I am so proud of anyone who is trying. It may be hard but I promise you will get there and you will reach your goal. Even if it’s just a day that’s still so much effort you’ve put in and I am so proud of everyone who is trying <3

Yay meeee. I’ve been self harm free for 2 dayssss :))) anyone proud of me..

It’s helping me a lot. I feel like I’m in control of it

Future improvement. This app is very helpful for people battling addiction and it’s free with no payments. I just wish there was a feature to see your past months, so maybe that could be added in the future? Other than that this app is great!

Want to cancel. I want to cancel this app but can’t I am not liking it this app

why money?. it costs money

<3. TW: (sh, hospitals!!) ⚠️ this gives me hope that things will workout after all:) i’m 2 months and 18 days clean today! I'm also 2 months out of hospital. honestly my 9 year self would be so proud. i'm now 14 and trying to move forward. i started sh when i was about 12 but my first hospital admission was when i was about 9. i've been praying ever since for things to get better ❤️‍🩹

:). If anyone is reading this I wanted to let u know that I’m very proud of u, just keep going. It’ll get better I promise ☹️

5 étoiles. Cette application aide beaucoup de gens, elle sauve des personnes. Merci de votre aide.

Helpful App :). I’m part of the self harm community and this app’s helped me come a long way and I feel so much better! One concern I have is the SH community because most of the posts have extremely triggering content which could be harmful to someone in recovery and I make a point of avoiding that part of the app but I understand it’s a way for people to connect with each other

The Best sobriety app there is.. This sobriety app is amazing. They have so many different things to track from days sober to money saved to hours spent drinking. They have a community section where you can post and read other peoples sober stories. They have motivational quotes everyday. They also have a journal section where you can review every day and write down any notes you want. Just so many cool things/ tools to help keep you sober and or just track your days sober.

Let us have more than 3 addictions. Please allow free users to have more than 3 addictions

Five stars. This app has started to help me a lot thank you.

Selfharm. I managed to stop self-harm and try to start a new life I’m even self-harm-free now!

toxic app. honestly this app just makes me feel guilty for self harming. let urself live. if you relapse, just be like oh ok and move on. it’s nothing to be ashamed of and this app quite literally makes you feel that way.

❤️. if you’re seeing this i’m proud of you and you’re doing great

Health recovery. Would be great to have health recovery process over time, organs regeneration etc

👍. Deadly man I thank this app for all the support it helped me a lot it took awhile but it helped👍😁

Great But…. The app itself is great but the community is awful. So many comments are negative and talking about suicide non stop. It’s rather depressing. Great app but steer clear of the community if you are trying to stay positive.

You gotta PAY MONEY. Nahhh don’t download this app I’m tryna sober up , better myself and they want me to pay a monthly fee ??? Don’t waste anything on this app they have a tracker that’s free of charge instead of this money grab of an app.

Buying skins. Should let us be able to buy skins or choose to upgrade to premium, can’t afford $14 a month

Best app ever🌸. It helped me stop biting my nails (my nail are stubs bc my sis deleted the app tho) I'm restarting!

I need help with this. I lost my date of being clean, I was 3 month clean and probably 4 month run. I lost everything because my phone reset it and I thought logging in my account will make it come back but it doesn’t work! I need help with this

Thank you. This is helping a lot like a lot thank you I haven’t cut since a week ago it’s nice I’ve been at my lowest a lot but I didn’t do it because I know I’m not alone :)

Your great. If you see this I love you and your amazing and doing great stay safe everyone you can do it ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️☺️☺️☺️

Great app for tracking sobriety. This app is fantastic. I can't George it is actually free unlike some other apps that day they are free but W want you to pay.

I am sober. I think it’s kind of stupid to charge people money to try and get sober. I see it as taking advantage of a vulnerable group like addicts and alcoholics.. Anyone with more than one addiction needs to pay for help (buy premium) I’m going to try this with alcohol for a bit, but so far the basic version doesn’t seem overly helpful. Personally I believe if you actually wanted to help people you wouldn’t be charging money.. I’d rather deal with adds or something… I also don’t want to stop drinking altogether, but just to gain more control and get in a healthier headspace. But being “sober” seems to be the only option. Just some feedback to reconsider. Other than the cost it’s a great idea. Anything to help people! Besides exploiting addictions for money….

Extremely helpful. Im a minor, i struggle with self harm and i also struggle to find help. This app has helped me tremendously to keep my emotions and dates in line, and its overall a great app. Im so happy to realize my longest streak was 21 days, and even though it was broken its so amazing to feel supported even by just an app. Recovery is a thing, it will get better. <3 (update, this review is kinda old, my longest streak it a month and 24 days! :3

PLS DO THIS. please make it so you can put a password on the app or face id or something. people always take my phone as a joke and i really don’t want them to see what i’m struggling with. pls do this it would save a lot of embarrassment and shame and uncomfortable talks.

Great app. It’s helping me. Would be great if I didn’t have to pay to save to the cloud.

Honestly helped me. I've been sh free for over 9 months now and the just being able to talk to other people experiencing the same thing really helped me overall

add a passcode. great app, but i think it would be nice to have the option to add a passcode to get into the app so that it’s more private. if you could give people that option that would be great.

Accountability. I love this app! It keeps me accountable ❤️🙏🏻

I am sober. This app keeps me motivated to stay sober (:

Supportive App. This is a really cool app that makes me feel less alone! I really enjoy the posting section to see other people I can relate to in a way that isn’t triggering or makes me relapse. Like a big community. Awesome!!!

Suggestion. Personally I think this app is vreat, all though I have suggestion, I think you guys can make it where people should be able to change their sober time without restarting. For example maybe do it where yiu can do it once a month maybe? Cause some people get grounded or go the hospital and are unable to change the date. Like me it says im at a yeae but really im at 8 months ( was in the hospital for 4 months) I think that’s something that would really improve the app . It can be frustrating when the only option is restarting the whole thing when you dont need to

One of the Keys to Sobriety. This app has helped me be accountable every day and take a pledge towards my sobriety. It literally takes you day by day with encouragement. There’s also a section to share your story with other people struggling, or even comment and help those who struggle. Our struggle is an every day fight. Sometimes it’s like a roller coaster. But you’re not alone, you can read through tons of people with the same sobriety date, or even some that have years on their belt. And regardless we all have one thing in common. We know how it feels to start and fight to keep our sobriety. Any little thing that helps, why not try it?

Life changing.. This app has been life changing with my recovery process. I attempted to quit weed about 3 times while first using the app and though it never stuck initially, it’s comforting to have a community with others who are going through the same substance addiction. I’m extremely proud to say that I have been over a year sober and this app has been a huge asset in maintaining that. The daily pledges, the daily reviews, the workbook section, the community feature. I’m really grateful for this app and to know how many people it is currently helping and will continue to help. Thank you developers for believing and aiding in others’ recovery process 🙌🏼

Recovery in my pocket. I have been using this app twice a day for about a month now and I love it! I have a reminder set for every morning prompting me to pledge to stay sober for the day and another reminder at night to review my day. This app is the right amount customizable, and so simple and easy to use. I wrote my own daily pledge “I will stay sober today because....” followed by a picture reminder of why I’m doing this. My favorite part of the app tho is the review every night. This has become my journal and mood tracker. I can easily see the trend of what I am doing/ not doing on my good days vs. my bad days in graph form. I also like that it keeps count of the months-weeks-days- hours-minutes I have sober and I can even see how much money and time I’ve saved. I love this app and really do recommend it to anyone who is battling addiction and wants to stay motivated and focused. PS. I currently have 140 days clean and sober and my life is getting better every day. This app has become a big part of my recovery, thanks for making it!

Sobriety date is set up weird. I am a little confused, I thought your first day sober was considered day 1. At least that’s how everyone I know has done it. But this app does it differently? Where your first day sober is day 0? It doesn’t make sense to me. I would think day 0 is the last day you drank. But I call my sobriety date the date I began being sober. October 22,2019 is the first day I was sober so I call that my sobriety date, I call it day 1. This app seems to do it differently??? I wish they would change it because I don’t wanna focus on day 0…..I don’t wanna know how long it’s been SINCE I’ve drank, I wanna know how long I’ve BEEN soberrrrr. There’s a huge difference between the two.

Amazing but one suggestion. I’ve used this app for a while and it has helped so much with my journey to recovery. One thing that has especially helped me is the milestones they keep track of which helps me stay motivated and feel proud of myself when I reach said milestone. This being said, as someone who doesn’t have the money to pay for other features of the app (specifically being able to track more than two unhealthy behaviors) it’s slightly frustrating. I would suggest being able to track as many unhealthy behaviors as you want without being forced to pay a monthly plan. But other than that, this is a great app that I highly recommend.

This app is legit. I just got this app as an easy tracker because it has an awesome little widget that sits on my front screen so I an see my days build up which motivates me. But actually it has a community forum where people post and it really motivates me to go on and not only see there are others like me who are fighting this, but also I can respond to them and offer words of encouragement and that lifts me up on a whole different level. Great app definitely get it in conjunction with other accountability software, and site blockers, etc. It’s another puzzle piece that can be used to help overcome pornography.

Great tracker and community support. This app is awesome for folks trying to abstain. There is a day count, a milestone tracker, daily motivation, and an awesome community of people. You generally see people on the same milestone as you. It’s nice to hear from people going through similar struggles. But you can also look at posts from people on other milestones. I am only on Day 6 so I like to look ahead and see what’s in store for me if I keep going. It also tracks money and calories saved. Plus other features. I use them ALL. Sobriety is tough so you need as much support and assistance as you can get! IWNDWYT

Great App, Great Community!. Its so comforting to go on this app and talk to and see people that are going through the exact same thing as you. The support from this community has been overwhelming and has definitely helped me from relapsing. With this app you can read stories of people who have been sober for longer than you, which can really help you see the bright side of sobriety and keep you motivated. You can also post your own stories and vent/ask for help and no matter what someone out there will have your back! This app is really great for people who need and WANT to change their life. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking to get sober! THANK YOU I AM SOBER!

I’ve been in a bad mental state.. I was resorting to S/H pretty frequently to calm myself down from panic attacks, because my school is a very traumatizing place. But I decided that I was gonna stop- and I’m gonna be honest, I feel so much better. I realized that my habit of self-sabotage for the sadness was also s/h, and I decided to stop, too. It took a while for being clean to feel good- it only started feeling good after the scars started fading and the intrusive thoughts lessened. But honestly, the community and the tracking, plus the notifications to remind you that your doing it, and the celebration when you reach a milestone- it’s a great feeling. It provides a really important motivator to stay clean, and I’m determined to do so. I’ve been clean for two months, and it’s become a source of pride. (And I hate being disappointed in myself, so while I’m working that out with my therapist, that definitely helps keep me away from scissors.) also, if your getting it for S/H, if you need a strong sensory, which is what I realized what was happening with me, try rubbing ice when your having thoughts.

Good with caveats. This app is continually updated and gets more popular daily. With the issues involved I think it should be age restricted, as the forums are being filled with high school students who self diagnose their “mental health” problems and complain about “misgendering.” It makes the community feature harder and harder to use seriously, which is unfortunate as that’s the best part of the app. But when all you have is narcissistic children creating fantasy worlds instead of an actually supportive community (which to be fair I have found in one of the most used topics) it makes the app just one more Tumblr, a toxic place which reinforces toxic behaviors and enables more mental illness instead of helping people recover.

one of the best apps on the store. this app has truly helped me change my life, quite literally. being able to view my progress, see other people’s stories, post my own stories if i wanted, the supportive community, customization, and a real-time tracker has helped me stay sober a TON. i really like being able to see the timer go up, it makes me glad to see progress being made quite literally by the second; if i’m being honest just this feature alone was a great push. this app is perfect, i can’t see a way to make it better than it is: it gets the job done flawlessly and will keep track of your progress, the rest of the job is up to you!!

great app but can be triggering. I really love this app. It motivates me to be better and is super useful to track my journey. That being said; the community tab needs some changes. Though I think it’s a good feature to help connect people who have similar struggles, a lot of times people are just venting, which isn’t bad, but can definitely be triggering. I have found myself trying to save other people while I myself am also struggling. I don’t think the tab should be removed, but should maybe have some way to mark which logs might be triggering and hide them in a different section. I think that people should be able to support each other, but only when they’re in a state to do so.

Helps me out a lot!. I love the daily motivation cards! I love that they have different card packs to buy, but I wish they had more, I own almost all of them! I wish they had some fun & sarcastic card decks to buy. I really do like that you can add your own activity of what you did that day to stay sober, so if you do something other than what they have listed you can still add it & it counts towards your daily activities. I just wish it had a counter for the amount of money you’ve saved since quitting, it has one for the amount of time you have saved since quitting plus the complete amount time you have sober.

they know what they’re doing!. This app is keeping me motivated 100%. the time tracker is satisfying to watch, it provides daily “pledges” to keep things simple and take things one day at a time, you can write in self-motivation and check-ins, and it gives you daily motivation. you can reach out to others and it’s very engaging in keeping you sober. i want everyone going into this to know that getting an app, any app, won’t get you sober alone. the only person that can do that at the end of the day is YOU, so please don’t hate on the app when you’ve given up. it’s a great tool but will not magically fix things. well wishes to anyone reading this

best app for recovery. I’ve had this app for a while now and I’m a recovering opioid addict. I’ve had slip ups and when it’s time to reset your clock of sobriety it doesn’t shame u or make u feel bad, it reminds u slips can happen and it doesn’t mean you’ve given up. It also allows u to see posts of other people who have had to reset their clock so you don’t feel like you’re going through this alone. The words of affirmation it send you everyday is truly what keeps me going at times. Overall probably one of the main reasons I’ve been able to maintain my sobriety, 10/10🫶🏼

Actually helps fight addiction. I love this app. I cannot tell you how much I love this app. I’d had my addiction for 6 years, and I was at a point where I was partaking daily, several times a day. This app has gotten me through the longest stretches of cleanness, coming up on two months clean now. Whenever I’m low, and want to go to that place again, I check I Am Sober first. Seeing the timer going, how far it is, and when the next milestone is going to hit does a lot for me. The peer support of people in the same addiction also helps a ton, makes the whole thing less lonely. I cannot recommend I Am Sober enough.

Remove Eating Disorder Recovery Stories. hiii, i really love this app and how supportive it is and everything but i just have one thing i wish could happen, (tw) i suffer from an ed and am trying to get clean. i recently downloaded the app to try and recover. they have an option on the app for stories of people who are the same progress as you, and the 0 one is not very helpful. if you don’t know much about eds they are very competitive and a lot of people are dropping their weights and amount of calories they have eaten. is there any way you can remove the function for people on the early stages, i honestly love this app so much but i just wish something could be done about that so i could recommend it to more of my friends trying to recover.

time zone. love this app but i live in an eastern time zone so i get notified at 8 in the morning to 8 at night but yesterday i went to alabama which is central time zone which moved my time to 7 in the morning to 7 at night and i’m back in the eastern time zone but the notification time hasn’t changed if that makes sense and like it’s bothering my ocd idk why it just is so is there anyway i can fix it or what? if not i guess i’ll have to deal with it but it’s gonna be confusing my ocd with this sudden change. also i went to alabama yesterday and came back yesterday so idk why it’s still at 7 but overall i LOVE LOVE LOVE this app sm keep up the good work :))

Life. Changer.. I really can’t emphasize how this app can save lives. It provides you with reflections on growth and your emotions, provides you with a community so you feel supported and not alone, and uplifts you for every small victory and step of the way in recovery. I am emotional because I am so grateful for this app and its community, I have met so many kind people and growth feels 100% attainable with this app. I never leave reviews on any apps, I just feel like this one deserves all the praise and my thankfulness for how it has ultimately saved my life and definitely others too. If anyone is struggling with any type of addiction PLEASE DOWNLOAD THIS APP AND LOVE YOURSELF!!! THANK YOU🤎.

Support that you might be missing. This app has been exactly what I needed to be successful at quitting sugar! It feels like sugar is totally ubiquitous so the temptation is ALWAYS there! Sugar is totally engrained in my culture which adds to the challenge of quitting. The truth is I have suffered with acne and have tried so many special expensive creams, and medication-which adversely affected my hormonal cycle and I keep my face and sheets clean. Since I quit sugar and dairy and with the help of this app I my skin has dramatically cleared up. Without this app I don’t think I would have had the discipline to do it. I love the support group and community the app provides a platform for. Thank you “I am Sober” app!!! 🥹💕

thank you. First off I would like to say thank you to the creators of this app. This app has helped me so far with my addiction of bitting my nails. There are also people on this app who are going through tough times right now and, commenting on their story/post makes me happy knowing that I am helping someone in need. There are AMAZING and kind people on this app who help me with this addiction and I love it! This app not only helps me but helps others and i’m so glad I found it. I only just downloaded it today and so far I am 3 hours in and i’m so proud of myself right now! I can’t believe how much an app can effect my life and am so happy right now so again thank you!

665 days sober from fentanyl. This app has brought me together with so many other like minded sober individuals, or those who are trying so hard to be sober and need extra support, I’m in the US and over the last almost 2 years I made a best friend who lives in Northern Ireland, she visited last month for a week!! And we first connected at the beginning of our sobriety journey, tons of mental health issues between us both to talk about hahah long story short I met someone on this app that I connect with better than anyone before, please give this a try if you’re looking for sober support! ❤️❤️

Best purchase I’ve ever made. I’ve been trying to go sober for 4-5 years. I’ve had so many failed attempts. So far it has been 3 months, but I have no doubt I will continue this journey. I look at the app every day and it’s so helpful to see the number of days it’s been, but also I can see how much I’ve saved. I’ve been putting all the money aside and at the end of the year I am going to treat myself to a luxury vacation. I actually inspired my roommate too and she uses the app. It’s been 2 months for her. If you’re thinking about going sober, this app has a community of people who will support you. Good luck ✨

can you add a self-harm category?. I love this app a lot and I use it to monitor my alcoholism and my self-harm. i’ve added self-harm using the “custom” feature, but it would be awesome if you guys could add that as one of the addiction listed, that way I could see all of the features on the app such as how many others are reaching the milestones i’m reaching, and comments other people leave about their recovery. overall this app has been so amazing in helping me track my recovery. pledging every morning has been extremely helpful, and counting down to each new milestone is more helpful than I could’ve ever anticipated. thank you for making such a great app, and I hope you’ll consider adding self-harm as one of your categories!💓

Great Motivation and Community. This app creates a safe space to pursue sobriety and gives you access to a community of people who are in the same fight and allows them and you opportunities to lift each other up. As with anything, you get what you put into this and, if you are honest with yourself, the features such as daily pledges and options to review each day are SO helpful in keeping you accountable to yourself. I ended up purchasing the subscription, not for the extra features but so that the developers can continue to improve the app and make it accessible for those who are seeking. Highly recommend this! And thank you to the developers- this app has helped me greatly. 💕

Great app to stay on track and motivated. Honestly the time tracker helps! It’s a timer that is always showing how long you’ve been sober, down to the second. Makes me think twice before going back to the addiction cause I don’t want my timer to restart back at zero. Even keeps track on how much money you’ve saved by the day. Reading people’s journey or symptoms definitely helps too, it helps with motivation and inspiration, especially when I read someone going through exactly what I’m going through. Makes you feel not alone! Glad I found this app.

Get em clean! 😁. I've only just downloaded this app and already I can tell that it does the absolute most an app like this is capable of, maybe the devs have updates in mind, but they have set a very clear and comprehensive platform for daily encouragement. People are helpful in this process but in my opinion this app offers a completely different type of support, being reminded twice on a daily basis with a clear record of your sobriety as well as the time/money you saved as a result of quitting is very inspiring. Removing a habit from your life is very personal and while some people need more help than others, I believe that anyone on a remotely similar path would benefit from this app. 😊

Very good, but a bit too treacly for me. In terms of the interface and the information it provides to the user, this is easily the best sobriety tracking app I’ve used. I still use it everyday and it’s had an undeniably positive impact on my life. Having said that, I wish there a way to disable the little motivational messages that pop up at the start and end of every day. I know it’s coming from a good place, but I personally don’t benefit from them, and I’d just like to remove them entirely. I still plan to use the app every day, and in the meantime I’ll continue to close the windows before I get those treacly little messages at the start and end of each day.

Sober plus is a mistake.. Today I decided to turn my life around. I am on a 35-day streak of no self-harm and decided to track a different sobriety. I was surprised to figure out that as of today, I’m not allowed to go sober. I could do this before, but the app decided to limit my sobriety to only one option. I must pay $5 per month to gain another sobriety tracker. FIVE DOLLARS. I used to be able to seek help with this app. Now, the help feature is a paid feature. This app is now taking advantage of people’s mental states for money. I thought this was a good app. This new update with “sober plus” proves otherwise. The audacity to make turning your life around paid. I don’t have money nor the mental state to make money. I am in a corner and this app has just thrown trash in my corner. It has further trapped me in my downward spiral instead of helping me. The developers cannot seriously be this greedy. I am astonished and angry.

Very helpful app. This is a great app, it acts as a private support system when you aren’t ready to take that step to meetings. Making the pledges to not drink keeps you accountable to yourself and helps get you through the day without drinking because you already pledged to not drink for the day and you don’t want to disappoint yourself. Without that it’s much easier to tell yourself it’s ok to drink, you hadn’t pledged not to. Even if it is just to yourself in your phone, you’ve made a record of it and you’d have to start over at day one if you do drink which would be disappointing. And reading stories from others going through the same thing creates a sense of community and support where you know you’re not alone in your journey.

Accountability Tool. Look, there is never going to be enough resources for folks struggling with addiction. The more of these apps (regardless of which app you pick). I chose this app because it doesn’t take over my life. I have enough addiction to deal with to be bothered with becoming addicted to an addiction help app. (Tech addicts gimme a nod?) That’s real too. I love being able to see recent posts from folks who are at my similar sobriety (level?) LOL I can also easily see inspiring posts from folks who are celebrating at the milestone that comes next for me. And ya know what? I dig that the app doesn’t swamp you with EVERYONE. (Sure, if you want to check out other milestones you can...but an app user is less likely to get vacuumed away into the app for hours. Which means...you can actually put the phone down and go back to working on your recovery! I enjoy the daily quotes and pledges! It’s a gentle reminder on my phone to keep my health in mind. Great app! And if you are sober-curious, come along and see!

This app is great for anyone woth addictions. Im 10 days clean from SH and honestly, this app helps a lot for me. I used to have a SH addiction at the ages 10-11 (turning 13) but i stopped. Now I’ve started again but found this app and I’m trying to reach my 2 week goal. This app provides motivation and end of the day reviews. And this app acknowledges your addiction and tried to help you for the better. The cool thing about this app is that there is a community tab where you can talk to others and even vent to get things out. This app makes me feel genuinely safe and I hope everyone can overcone their addictions. Stay safe everyone!! <3

This app has helped way more than I thought it ever would.. I originally downloaded really just to have something to keep track of the number of days that I’ve been sober. But I got so much more. I love the daily pledges and day reviews. It’s gives me the little boost that I need to get through the day. And I can go back and look at my week and see if I had any bad days. Then I can try and work towards figuring out why I was feeling like that and how I can avoid it in the future. I would highly recommend to anyone in recovery (especially if you’re in the early stages!) 💯

community tab ACTIVELY DETRIMENTAL to sobriety. an app to track sobriety for anything is a great and helpful tool. but the social aspect of this app is ACTIVELY DETRIMENTAL. no one on day 0 should be reading other people’s depressing day 0 posts, and yet that is exactly what you are drawn to do. this is the case for any addiction. probably the worst, though, is self harm. people post very, very dark things on day 0. the LAST THING someone who’s just hurt themselves needs to see is the types of things people post in the self harm community. it’s not only a problem in day 0, either- any of the milestones have some really dark things posted which someone struggling with self harm really shouldn’t be reading. who in the world thought it was a good idea to take a bunch of people struggling with depression, suicidal thoughts, etc. and have them interact with only each other, relatively unmonitored?! i cannot restate how awful this would be for someone still trying to go sober.

This app changed my life!. This app helped me get sober. It connected me to other supportive sober people. They host meetings on zoom. There’s a section where you can review your day and you list how hard it was to stay sober, what you were doing, and your mood. That helped me really identify my triggers and work on them. I can now plan for extra support when I know something is going to be particularly difficult for me. I never pay for apps and you don’t need to on this one but I happily paid for sober plus because I wanted to give money to an amazing app that changed my life. I’m also not a person who reviews things ever 😂 it’s just that good!

Already having a huge impact. I’m only on a 6-day streak but the impact this app has already had on my life and helping with my sobriety has been amazing. All the different things you can track are eye opening. The daily motivation and wrap up is great with helping to hold myself accountable. But the best part is the Community section. We genuinely help each other throughout the day. It’s like an immediate resource at your fingertips. You can also see other people who are on the same day streak as you which helps even more with not feeling alone. Truly grateful I found this app; it helps me to want to keep going.

Good, but has potential to be better.. I really like this app. I like how it allows you to track multiple addictions, has a community, and a library of motivational quotes. I also like pledging and reviewing my day. I have the free version and would definitely want to see some more functionality before I could commit to the premium version. It would be cool to have the ability to record cravings for one. I also would want more functionality out of the watch app besides just a clock. It would be cool to pledge and review on the watch and also receive the quotes directly to the watch. If the app expands on its premium features, I’ll consider subscribing.

Very helpful, let’s me write out my feelings!. I have felt very put together after I downloaded this app. I usually forget to jot down my feelings, but I Am Sober reminds me to (if you turn notifications on). I also have mine set to “sweets” instead of self harm because my parents don’t know. They have options you can choose so people don’t find out the real reason you came to the app! It’s very helpful 10/10 I feel better as a person. It really helps me to write out my feelings everyday. If you forget to reply to the notification, it lets you write yesterday’s in case you forgot!

Needs to catch up a bit faster. This app is really easy to navigate, and i think the tracker and the community support IS really encouraging, and has been a large part of my staying sober- easily- for over a month. Worth it. Only reason I give 4 stars- there are multiple times that my personal posts do not go public for 24-48 hours or longer. I couldn’t know if this is a tech glitch or the time it takes to review posts from the very large app community. Sometimes it’s a very personally challenging topic, or a very celebratory milestone- so it is disappointing for a story to go live well after it is relevant. but mostly this app is a good resource- in my experience- for staying sober and feeling there is an easy go-to community in my pocket !

Works great for my needs. I really just wanted a sobriety counter that also displays money and calories saved, and this does that perfectly even in the free version. It would be nice to have options besides all-or-nothing sobriety. My issue is drinking at home when I really shouldn’t and I still intend to go to bars on occasion. What I do find odd is the attempt to turn this into a social app where people are posting about falling off the wagon or starting over again. Some of these posts are just really sad and seem like they could even be triggering some people. On the other hand they put my own problems into perspective.

Pretty ok app I would js change one thing. I think that the app overall is pretty good, I’ve been using it for 4 years now and it really helped me recover from self-harm. Though I would change one thing. I highly dislike the age limit on this app only because I know lots of kids and teens under the age of 17 struggling with s/h or drinking or drugs or some other addiction. Even when I was younger if I would have known about this app I probably could have recovered faster. I just think that teenagers addictions are completely as valid as an adult and I truly don’t understand why the age limit would be that high when the majority of people that struggle with self harm or drugs or smoking is that of the adolescent age group.

Best sobriety tracking app. This app is really interactive, it celebrates each day you stay sober and even offers a “how are you feeling” checklist when you accomplish even a small milestone. The checklist suggests both positive and negative feelings that you might be feeling or didn’t even know you were feeling. I like that it also shows you how much money you save when you stay clear of your toxic substance. The app can be used for tracking the days clean from drugs, meats, self harm or anything else youre addicted to and want to stop, you’re able to create multiple “folders” of different addictions and if you don’t see an addiction you’re able to just create a new one. 👍

Love the app and have a suggestion. I really like this app, it’s been giving me motivation to stop harming myself, but I do have a suggestion! I’m not sure if this is a added feature but if it isn’t I think it should be added, the feature being here you can have more than one “I am sober” thingy, where you can start a new one, for example if you already have something like a self-harm thing and have a addiction for let’s say alcohol you can start a separate “I am sober” thingy, where you have one that’s for one issue and another one for another issue, I think it would be helpful!

Can’t even explain. This app is so wonderful I love being able to look back on things makes it even easier to stay sober wish I found this sooner!! I will recommend this to ANYONE a thousand times over, if you aren’t certain you can stay sober use this!! it will help you get on track it makes it fun to get sober, it has the badges that give you something to look forward to and when cravings hit I like to look at how long I’ve been sober and watch my seconds go up since my last hit that’s my reminder that I do have something to lose, anyway totally recommend!!!!!!!

It's the little things. I've tried a few different apps to help with my addiction, and this is the first one that feels like its really going to do the trick. Examples of the little things are the gamification of the daily pledge, the image to help motivate you, the motivational quotes, and most of all, not spacing out the milestones too far. The first week is hard and this app recognizes and rewards you each day. Before I failed a few times because I would get to 3 days and the next milestone would be a week. 3 days was hard, now you want me to do 4? Also, the free version offers fantastic features. I'd honestly be willing to pay for just what I get with the free version, but I appreciate that I don't have to 😊

100x better than I hoped. This app is fantastic. It shows a countdown in days, days and hours, then days and hours AND minutes AND seconds! Each ticking second you see fill the bar to reach a new minute of sobriety is a poke in the right direction. They also show how many other people on the app are on the same day of sobriety as you, which is helpful somehow. The community page is also great if you’re feeling alone. Reminders can be set to remind you to pledge your sobriety, which brings up a screen saying “I will be sober today because...”- then your given reasons. Once you hit the button, you get a motivational poster-esque pop up. Logging your sobriety for a certain number of days in a row earns “rewards” within the app. You can also set reminders for logging how your day went, to track triggers. I thought the motivation for the day would be cheesy, and it kinda is, but I find myself wanting more throughout the day. 100x better than I hoped the app would be, it’s great

I LOVE THIS. This app is so helpful for me. I've been struggling with self harm for over a year now and i didn't have anything to track how long i went without doing it. this helps me know how long i can go for, while also encouraging me daily to keep going. I also love that you can post stories on how your doing and on whats happing in your life. everyone there is super kind and supportive and i haven't gotten a single bad comment for all the time i've used it. this app has definitely lowered my anxiety by finding people who i don't know that will listen to my rants and even give me tips on things i need help with. 10/10
