Agenda Plan - on Gantt Chart App Reviews

So much potential. I REALLY like the look of this app and was excited about for an initial use as an entertainment calendar, having moved to a big city with so many options I need a visual. 1) But when I entered a function that recurs every week, it didn't allow recurring items. Hmmm. I have an email to iAgenda's support and hopefully they'll have good news but after doing a search of their awesome support section, another person asked the same question with an answer to the negative. Oh well, just will wait for a possible option. I'll try to check back periodically. 2) Also, immediately noticed when doing an entry in "week view" that the DAYS of the week aren't displayed with the number/date (this issue is a pet peeve of mine because I think of Mon, Tues, etc) unless a person chooses a "deeper" view which shows the hours. (I've designed Gantt sheets in Milestones on a PC and it was so easy to design include the days of the week in all views). Also, I would like to have the time show in non-military time (1-24 hour instead of 1-12am/pm)

cool app. This is a very cool planning app!It can schedule my activities with short task durations from minutes to days,and it can exporting via Email as PDF or image,so cool!

Awesome app!. iAgenda Pro is a nice schedule application, so simple, fast and brilliant. I like the Gestures feature and share methods, these help me export and manage my tasks more easier.

Easy to use Gantt chart. I needed an inexpensive visual Gantt chart that allowed me to easily evaluate timing scenarios and see the effect on deadlines. This app met my needs. It's intuitive enough to master quickly. I really like the feature where you can paste in an outline of tasks instead of entering them one at time. I can plan a day down to 5 minute tasks if I needed to. Linking tasks is straight forward, but further streamlining access to the linking function is suggested improvement. This version has been stable on my iPad 2.

실제 사용이 불편하다.. 이런 종류의 어플을 기대하고 기대해서 구입했다. 겉 보기에는 아주 훌륭하고 실제로 할일을 구분하는데 직관적이다. 하지만 막상 사용하다보면 사용법이 너무 어렵다는걸 발견한다. 먼저 동영상에는 간단한것처럼 설명이 되어있지만, 상위 하위그룹으로만 할일을 구분하기엔 사용자는 그보다 더 많은것을 필요로한다. 그리고 해결된 문제를 [완성]이라는 밑으로 넣고 싶어도 주제간의 이동이 안된다. 날짜나 알림등 할일에 필요한 기본사항을 입력하기에 손이 많이 가는 느낌이고, 아이패드를 사용하는 사람이라면 토픽을 누르고있으면 뭔가가 나와야하는게 당연하게 느껴지지만 이 어플안에서는 길게 눌러서 하는 동작이 없다.. 그래서 아이패드를 사용하는 사람에게는 아주 아주 굉장히 어색하다(이것이 직접사용하는 사람에게는 얼마나 불편한 일인지 사용하다보면 알게됨) 마지막으로 한 토픽에 대해 소그룹을 만들수있다 그 소그룹도 만들고 나서 소그룹을 보고 싶으면 다시 터치하고 소그룹 버튼을 눌러야지 볼수있다. 소그룹같은것은 빨리볼수있도록 특별한 버튼이 있어야된다고 생각한다. 나는 마인드맵을 사용하는데, 할일을 정리하고 한눈으로 보고 펼치고 닫고 할일/보류/협의사항/진행사항/등을 나눠서 관리하고 폴더간 얼마든지 이동가능 그리고 할일이 끝나면 완성이라는 폴더에 넣을수있어서 나중에도 다시 볼수있는점을 봤을때 마인드맵이 훨씬 사용가능성에서 편리하다. 이 어플을 사용하고 싶어서 동영상도 몇번이나보고 지웠다가 다시 깔았다가를 반복했다..결국 나에게 버림을 받는 어플이 됐다.. 기대를 하고 다운받은 나같은 사용자에게는 내가 왜 이렇게 연구도 안하고 받았을까 하는 자괴감을 줄 정도이다..

Great App. Instructions are a little complex, but great app! A great tool for planning your day and seeing it all in one place. Highest wish is that the interface of the sidebar would also include the actual stop time scheduled for a task, instead of just the start time and duration.

Missing feature. I found no way to move a task to be a subra so of one that wasn't already directly above it. For moving from a brainstorm to an organizational phase this is a major impediment. It rendered the app, despite otherwise elegant interface, unusable for me.

A complete and total waste of money and my time!. First of all, there is no way of knowing what the differences are between the various apps this developer has made, based on the documentation available on the website or in the descriptions of the apps- at least none that I was able to find. The worst is that this particular app is one of the most non-intuitive, difficult to use apps I've tried. Usually when putting together a project or plan,mine can simply add whatever steps that go I to the project in whatever order and then spend time refining things such as dates, duration, notes, project team members and so on. This app makes doing so extremely difficult, especially if you want to add children or change dates and durations. I have just wasted money and valuable time with this one and suggest you avoid this app like the plague it is! Oh, btw, the video tutorial is a joke!

Limited functionality. Can't add end dates of events, you have to drag each line to your end date. Longest option for number of days of an event is five days. Not very useful if you're trying to chart multiple events over several months.

Changed the way I work. This App has changed the way I work. I find this the best app for tracking the events of my day. This App turns scheduling into a visual exercise so I can see scheduling like I never had before. I can now predict completion times. I even add in all of the daily interruptions and can see there impact like never before.

Be careful, this is unstable.. I downloaded this and immediately liked it. It lacks the cloud sync that so many tiny apps do but it looks good and is easy enough to use. I made the mistake of putting a lot of time into an agenda that I needed for work. I got to use it a few times before I opened the app and everything was gone. Use this carefully or for fun but be careful how much time you put into it. You have been warned.

Neat app but..... Neat app, but has some annoying bugs. When you choose to export it flips the app upside down on your iPad causing you to have to tilt it. In addition, while it’ll let you do planning into next year and export to PDF and Image, it fails to export to Excel. :( Seems pretty intuitive to use, so kudos on that. It would also be nice if you could quickly enter in tasks that were longer than 5 days rather than having to drag. I’m looking for multi-month options.

Intuitive, simple and strong. As title, This app is designed well, gestures, exporting, importing, all are easy.

Great Gantt Project Tracker!. I have only utilized for a short period of time, however this tool has proven to be very effective in my workflow and collaboration!

An app that exceeds expectations. I'm using this on a regular iPad, and finding it very helpful for managing a household renovation. On a small screen, functionality like this is difficult to pull off, and I am impressed. Well done, and keep working on it.

Great and useful application!. I searched for awhile looking for an app that would help me plan out a multi day training session. I started to use Excel, then a Gantt Chart app, then tried QuickPlan Pro but realized I needed more granularity than a day. I came across iAgenda and am blown away!!! This is a beautiful app that exports to different file formats including Excel. This is paramount for sharing with my team. Great work!!!

Very nice, please make for lifetime (100 years+). I love this apps features, please make it available for doing genealogy timelines. Good ones are sadly lacking.

Limitations. Why is there a limitation on tasks only being allowed to be 5 days, 23 hours and 55 minutes long at the maximum? You know, there are some things in this world that take longer than 6 days to do and having this limitation within the software makes it pretty useless and a completely unnecessary limitation. I've had this now for some time and there hasn't been any movement in this so this, as far as I am concerned, is a fail and I have now uninstalled it. Honestly, who made that silly decision???

Almost. It is a very easy to use app in this version. The UI is intuitive and it is real nice it goes to 5 minute increments which makes it good for manufacturing and assembly operations. 1 or 2 min increments could be an enhancement. I use this on an iPad mini so there is more room for these time variants but on a phone the screen may be limiting. This could be in the settings to display the shorter time intervals only or longer ones for the cerebral professions. Overall the app gets out of the way and allows the user (me) to create schedules in a fast flowing way.
