Useless update. I updated it the day i got my p2v fixed and lost all live feed. Dji said its not conpatible with ios10 or iphone 7. Understanding the situation used a iphone 4s which dji recommended and still no fpv. They want to charge me $160 to fix the issue they caused. Will be getting a different drone from a different conpany. the go app is doing the same thing with the phantom 3's aswell.. DONT FIX ANYTHING THAT ISNT BROKEN!!

Let’s ban dji. DJI should be banned from making anything because they are not fixing the live feed issue. Rip offs!! Let’s start a ban on their product and let’s Fb it and spread the word not to buy a dji product because they don’t stand behind their merchandise

Update ruined it. Update: September 2, 2016. My DJI still sits in its case as useless as a desk paper weight. Thanks for nothing DJI, can't wait until this class action lawsuit gets moving. Please help, after this update my controller can no longer bind successfully to camera. I can fly the drone but camera connection fails even after DJI tech support tried to help. Help.......

Update made Phantom now worthless. As with every other review mine also will do everything except show live video which is the only way to fly the drone. Now it just sits there useless. What a shame and company will not fix.

Download and try again. It works for me now!. Just like everyone else, the upgrade to the range extender rendered mine useless. I was disappointed to not see a new update, but downloaded the app anyway. I'm not sure what changed, but everything works now. I can connect to the range extender and then to he camera. I'd suggest others try again.

Phantom 2 Vision plus. Got an update but did not put it on. Everyone I know said once they installed it they could not use their Vision plus. Have you fixed the problem yet, or are the purchasers of DJI products just supposed to throw away our DJI products every two years? It cost me over $2,000 for everything for my Vision plus. If you are not going to fix the problem you caused, can you tell me how to get this upgrade from nagging me to install it? In the meantime we will quit promoting DJI products and look into another Company that stands behind the products they sell.

Would not buy DJI again based on this catastrophic support issue. I could not understand why my perfectly fine Phantom 2 V+ stopped working and could not show a live video stream. I though I did something to it. Not only did i lose the live video stream, my P2 behaves erratic and the app triggers a battery low alarm right away on a new battery causing the drone to drop. Again, I thought this was hardware. Then I started flying it without the app. Outside of the live feed, it flies just fine now. I have to fly visually because I don’t have the live feed.

App works great for me. Just bought DJI Phantom Vision 2+ at pawn shop for $250. Software is terrible, took 2 hours to get control of camera tilt. Now I'm good and everything appears to work fine.

DJI brick. Pay $1500 for a drone that DJI in a matter of 2 years makes useless- a company that does not stand behind their products. Should recall all drones from Phantom 3 down. Terrible. Absolutely TERRIBLE! I've spent countless hours knocking my head trying to figure this out! I have a $2000 piece of junk in a $200 case and all because they won't revert back to the previous version of the app that worked. The update has rendered all of us view less!

IN SCARED!!!. I am approaching the time where I will be receiving the DJI Phantom 2 Vision+ and am very scared after reading the horror stories of this app making drones a brick or killing live feed forever, if anyone can give me more in sight on this and/or an alternative app it would be greatly appreciated!

Update killed mine too.. I upgraded my phone installed the same app and could never reconnect. After too many hours and hours I gave up. Seems like they just want to sell new equipment and don’t want to help with the old.

UPDATE NOW!!!. I'm sick of waiting for a new update so I can actually get a live video feed. Just because you came out with a new product doesn't mean you should stop supporting this app...ridiculous. You just want people to buy a new product and then I'm guessing you'll make the new app malfunction after a couple years so people will have to repeat the process. FIX THE LIVE FEED ISSUE FOR THIS APP so we can actually use your product that costs an arm and a leg, then maybe you'll establish some credibility. Not falling for your greed.

Where is the next update for 2018?. Since the last update in Nov 2017 my DJI Phantom 2V has been useless. It flies fine and I have full control except that I can no longer take pictures or stream video. It loses it’s connection in just a few seconds even when it’s only a few away. It’s absolutely absurd that they mucked up it’s primary function, taking pics and vids. If you don’t update the app soon, I will be done with DJI products. No way I would fork over $1400+ if in a few years you’re going to schmuck up the app so I cannot use it anymore, hoping I’ll buy the latest model.

No FPV on iPhone app. There's no FPV on the iPhone app. Everything else works fine. I can control the camera, take photos, but can't see a thing while flying. I liked previous versions of the app but until they fix this problem, I wouldn't trust this app.

Poor customer service | Defective Products. Buyer beware. Do not invest your hard earned money into this company. All their products are junk and have less than a 1 year life frame. Horrible customer service that don't care about their clients or look for repeat business. More like bait and switch. Flew my product only few times then it stopped functioning. Pure Junk !

Still unable to connect to camera!. Since the June firmware update I have been unable to connect to my camera and I was hoping this emergency fix would solve the problem but no dice. I tried updating the app, reinstalling the app, re-binding, dancing in a circle while swinging a rubber chicken over my head and still no luck. I was looking to upgrade to another drone soon but if this is the support I'm going to receive from DJI I will most likely be looking at different manufacturers. Long story short....DON'T APPLY THIS UPDATE.

Killed My Phantom 2. This latest DJI software update killed my Phantom 2 more effectively than flying it into a concrete wall at maximum speed. Like everyone else, I received a notice when I was gearing up to shoot some overhead pictures and videos at my local race track that an update would be accomplished in only 60 seconds. And, in only 60 seconds, my Phantom 2 was rendered unusable through no effort on my part. At some future date, DJI may choose to provide another software update that may correct its recent faux pas. In the meantime, my Phantom sits in its carrier gathering dust. Good job, DJI! BTW, my enthusiasm to upgrade to a Phantom 4 is now lower than Death Valley. Follow-up. Thirty-one (31) reviews have now been provided for this app (as of 23 Aug 16). All 31 have received one star. If a zero star rating could be applied, I'm sure all the reviews would reflect a zero rating. This catastrophic version of the app was released on 7 July 2016. You would think 6 weeks would be enough time to release a fix or develop a strategy to undo the damage done to your customers. I obviously still believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the tooth fairy, and the government. DJI, however, I have lost any regard I had for your company and its products. It will be a truly cold day before I do business with you again.

Very disappointed in DJI.... I understand technology gets obsolete...but you would think that a company like DJI would give the customers some relief. I mean at least a coupon on some $$$ off on the next model ...basically I have two phantom vision 2 plus’s that are paperweights because This app is garbage or the company doesn’t care about “customer retention” enough to fully develop one that serves the p2 vision plus and p2... which in itself is a garbage mentality

Update killed Video Feed. I’ll never buy another DJI product. I’ve never had a company update an app that puts everyone that owns a version of their product out of business. Never again.

Garbage. Would give zero stars if I could. An update a while back broke the camera on my P2+. The internet and their forums are full of people with the same issue. Support told me I’d have to pay to get it fixed. Complete crap. Will never buy a DJI product again. GoPro Karma it is.

Product - 10 Support 0 - AVOID!!!!!!. Perfectly healthy, wonderful flying marvel bricked by mandatory firmware upgrade. Does not keep track of Drone. It will not find the lost drone I used my drone for 3 minuets. Then I landed it turned it off and restarted it then turned on the blades and it took off with zero input. It did not track my drone. It says it lost signal one second after it took off. Well there goes $450.

Sign up. The app requires me to sign up with an email address, every email that I have is already taken though I’ve never used the app, when I use the forgot password it says there isn’t an account with that email preventing me from using the app

Phantom 2 video. I can guarantee I will never buy another product from this company. Not supporting their product for what it was intended is criminal. $1500 unit worthless because of their own intentions. Shove it!

App Not Working Properly. I tried to log in to the app via my new email and every Time I try to submit it sais email already registered and can’t go back to my old email because it was erased.

Will never buy another DJI product again. My Phantom sat for 2-3 years, decided to fire it up today and downloaded this app. No live video. Came to find out this is the case for all users. You CANNOT fly this thing anymore with live video and this appears to be by design as DJI wants people to buy the new products. Terrible, terrible move.

No video feed. If you are using the latest iOS, do not download this. I can adjust the camera pitch and take photos and video but have no idea what I'm seeing because there is NO LIVE VIDEO FEED to my phone. Kind of a big deal. Please fix.

Still works!. Dusted off my Phantom 2 vision plus and after a couple glitches got it to work. Few tips -if desired upgrade phantom via PC or Mac app. Mine was at 308 and upgraded to 314. Read some posts that updating via iOS app caused problems. -dji login issues. Create or reset via web page. Don’t use app. Use a simple alpha numeric password. -perform compass and imu calibration.

Terrible app. I haven't been able to use my phantom 2 for over a year now because of this faulty app. I can't believe that with the price I paid for the drone it is nothing more than a paperweight now. My attempts at communication with the company have resulted in short, unhelpful, and rude responses on their part. I hope there is a class action lawsuit starting.

Working with no issues here. I've had a Phantom 2 Vision Plus sitting in a box for over two years. I was going to try to sell it but I couldn't get anything for it and as I have a renewed interest in the hobby, I decided to get it out and see if I could get it going. The first thing I did after getting the batteries charged was to update the firmware on the controller, the Phantom/Naza and the IMU with the latest available on the DJI website. Everything works great. I'm getting the live camera preview and not seeing any functionality issues with the application. For those having issues I would recommend doing the updates and trying again.

Is it time for a class action lawsuit?. DJI have rendered Phanton 2 vision+ useless. They have not come up with a way to address this. They have taken working functioning devices and made them hard to use for their intended purpose. Where is their official response? Who's up for it?

Killed my Phantom 2 V+!!. How can a company just decide to render a perfectly good and VERY expensive piece of technology unusable by killing the app that runs the live feed?? I spent a fortune on my PV2+. It's flawless. Never a crash. Then one day DJI killed the only app that runs the live feed. I also had spent a LOT on extra batteries, parts, spares, and a high powered wi fi extender that had my transmitter working incredibly. All that money down the drain. I don't WANT a new Phantom. I didn't need a new Phantom. My P2 was working fine. This is heartbreaking and I'm downright angry that DJI BROKE my Phantom. This should be illegal. If anyone knows a way around the live feed blackout, please let us know. That DJI has made me flush $1500, i will NEVER buy another one of their UAVs. I'll build my own from scratch next time. What a disgrace by a GREEDY company.

Does not work!. The latest version is broke. The app fails every time I try to adjust the camera angle. The short and long of it is that I am completely unable to change the viewing angle of the camera. The previous version was fine. I hope DJI rolls back to the previous version or fixes this soon.

Greed will always superceed quality. How the hell do you stop supporting a product that is $1,300 after just 2/3 years of its launch ? This seems to be another corporate greed scheme to force hobbyists into purchasing the latest model and discard the older ones. Seems like a $1,300 commitment to DJI every two or three years. I personally am done with this. They rendered any phantom before version 3 useless. I'll take the satisfaction of running this thing over with my truck. Don't fall for it. Corporate greed will always find a way into your pockets. Find another hobby. This is unethical at a huge level. I have had my quad for only a year and a half and now it's pretty much useless. So much money out the window. Lesson learned..

FIX THIS CORRUPT APP!!!!!!!! It's time for a Class action lawsuit!. My phantom has no live feed! They have made it to where phantom 2 users can no longer stream video! They have basically ripped us all off! My brother is a lawyer and says we could start a class action lawsuit

App is not good at all. The app is so slow and does not look as well design as the other Dji app for the phantom 3 and above. Why did you guys stop supporting this drone I fly the phantom 2 still and wish there was a better experience.

Knock on wood!!. I have had my Phantom 2 vision sitting in its case for a year and a half. I've been reading all the issues everyone's been having and was hesitant to pull it out. I got it charged up and immediately updated the firmware via my PC for the remote and Phantom. Then fired up the app and RE and encountered no issues. I'm hoping it stays that way. I did multiple power cycles and reconnects to see if I had an issue to it didn't happen in flight and knock on wood all is looking good right now with telemetry working and live feed also working.

Still needs update to fix live view!!!!. Update as of Jan 23, 2017 - Still no update to fix live video feed. Thanks for nothing DJI! Update on July 7, 2016 - Still does not fix the issue of no live feed since last year when! Now it's bricking more users! What is the deal with the program writers?! Please fix the live video feed Jan 14, 2016-Update on another so called update! The update did not fix the live preview feed! I was really hoping the developers fixed this mess! Could you at least give a press release saying that you are trying to work on it or that you guys are aware of the situation? Update from November 2015 still does not work. No live view feed !! DJI really needs to update this app otherwise my Phantom 2 Vision is useless. Many others agree to this and are having the same problems. I have emailed numerous times to DJI but no response. Sad to say that DJI has moved on from this app and the Vision because they have developed newer drones to sell. I hope they fix this with another update.

To all who are having trouble with the update. I was having trouble with this last version of the vision app also, but slept on it and didn't panic. To get the phantom running with the last app( if you can't go back to a restore point), just update the phantoms drivers. My issue was running incorrect/ outdated drivers on the phantom. Now the app is functional and not laggy. So again check all drivers for firmware updates and you should be functional again.

No video. No video when I connect my phone. Read all the reviews in horror when I received my drone. Sent and email 9-5-16 and waiting on reply. Follow up will come. Email sent (Why hasn't there been a fix for the vision 2 app yet? I get now video and all of the reviews are horrible. Just because you guys stopped building the unit, doesn't mean that people aren't flying them. And can't afford to buy a new one. Please fix this issue as soon as possible.)

Do Not Use. I spent 8 hours even after speaking to DJI tech support. Nobody mentioned this problem that all of these reviews have run into. My P2V which was working fine, will no longer fly. Its the forced firmware update to the Range Extender. DJI, do the right thing and get info out on this telling people not to upgrade until you get a process for dealing with this blunder.

Thieves not willing to take responsibility for their screw up. They have put the screws to thousands of phantom vision owners by ruining the first person view. They won’t admit to it. They are thieves. They do everything they can to get off the hook. Bad business.

Ummm... 3 months without a fix?!?. This is absolutely ridiculous... I have 1.. 2... 3 p2v+ units ALL with no live video feed. The ONLY part I updated was the app. THE APP!! When, the, hell, are you going to make this right?!? Does anyone else have any suggestions, hints, tips, tricks?

DJI is a shady company. I can’t even log in to the software so I can’t fly my drone? Is this an attempt to force people to buy new drones? I don’t know what this is but making a piece of hardware unusable is more than stupidity it’s theft and shady. Would never consider buying another DJI product

Live view. No live view - did anyone find a solution? Looks like DJI isn’t really interested. What about the class action. Anybody have a fix for live view? So embarrassed I hope someone benefits from my ignorance. Believe it or not I’m a 35 year technologist - programmer and engineer. But, in settings the FPV button was off. I’ve never seen this switch, my drone has been put away for months. Meanwhile I have a new phone and updated app. One of these reset this switch (I believe). Haven’t seen this advice in any of the forums or here. So check it. Big ole embarrassed smiley face goes here.

😰. For all people with no live feed,"no image on camera! None of this app updates would solve the issue, since is a hardware wifi module problem inside the drone! In general this drone is a good non semi profesional one , but this issue makes them garbage! Almost 9 of 10 people with the drone have the none live feed problem!

It's the app!! Needs updated. I bought new wifi range extender and also found a new fc200 camera and still only get telemetry and no Live Feed. It works when it wants too. By buying both new you would think the live feed would work so it points the problem at the app itself something I cannot change!

Excellent App but one issue I've found. I've set up Dynamic Home Point to work with my iPhone and have not been able to get it to work unless I go to Settings/Privacy/Location Services/DJI VISION and set Allow Location Access to Always. I have to do this every time I open the app otherwise the setting in Location Services is reset to blank.

DJI Vision. I found this app very easy to use and well thought out to fly the DJI Phantom Vision 2. Great support from the DJI Site with easy video instructions on how to use the app. Happy safe flying.

A very nice app for managing the DJI phantom 2 vision on ground as well as on air.. There is a room for improvements in terms of improving lags on the flight camera visual .

Groundstation useless. swiping to ground station part of app results in instant crash, can’t even look at the map to confirm homepoint reinstalled app numerous times, updated IOS software and still no fix, this has been happening for a while now.. DJI, do you even support the Phantom 2 series anymore?

Reliable standard app for Vision Phantoms. Been using this app intensively over the past week on my new Vision+. Works reliably and brilliantly. Video quality could be better, but I'm guessing this would reduce FPV range of Phantom. Overall, this app does its job very well.

iPhone 5s. Doesn't work. Worked the first time and now it will not connect! Using a new iphone5s Shame!

Battery indicator not good in new version. The value in the % battery indicator has disappeared with the new upgrade. This is a critical part of ensuring that you get the maximum flight time out of a single battery. Please fix this ASAP

DJI Phantom 2. This drone is so annoying I can not get it to connect. Every time I click on camera it says connection failure

QC app not working as spected. Hi DJI team, My Phantom 2 Vision app is turng off after I touch any of the camera controls. I Couldn't try any of the new features cuz of this little issue. Black Screen. Do not buy this unit until they fix the live view. Only black screen shows and there is no live feed that works. Issue is happening to lots of people and no resolution is offered.

Ground station crashing. Upgraded app and still no ground station. Why bother. DJI.. Are you taking your customers requests seriously or treating us like idiots?

New version Feb 2015 constant crashes. App constantly crashes and loses connection to my phantom when it is barely 100 meters away. Needs to be fixed ASAP. I have tried deleting the app and re installing and restated phone and reset network... Nothing fixes so must be the app.

Works great. A easy to use app that not only shows you flight data and vision during air time but also displays data like home location, battery level, recording time and has the full functionality of ground station too. Overall does everything it's supposed to.

Phantom vision. Since the latest update I've had wifi camera issues, lose FPV view at 100 meters and doesn't come back unless I shut down phantom and do a restart. All other data still works

No live feed. Everytime they try to fix something, they destroy something else. This time, there's no live video stream. You can fly the drone, click to take photos and videos, but there is no live stream.... Thanks for helping me lose a customer DJI

No live video stream. If you have a phantom 2 vision plus you will probably run into an issue with the live video streaming. DJI has no support to fix this issue. I paid $1400 for the drone when it came out. Worked great for a almost 2 years. I update the app and lost live video. Can't get it to work now... so mad!! What a waste and no support for a real fix. I by the phantom 3 for $499. Why spend hundreds to fix my current drone. I feel ripped off

Crash. This last version does crach often. It increases the risks. Please fix ASAP.

No live video. This latest update has essentially bricked my P2V+ and it's ability to broadcast video and live view. DJI expects me to pay to have it shipped in for repair. It's really frustrating when the cause of the issue is faulty software...buyer beware for the new Magic Pro....

No canera. Do not buy ever from them. No support No more updates Will stop update even if know still problems They want you to buy there new copter instead fixing the already released ones Pc app doesnt connect anymore. Even if computer find dji remote. I can fly it and take pictures and videos. But no live feeds and i see the other reviews and 2 years old from a problem with software. Yea forget this company and do no buy even if products seem good. They do not care once you paid them 1500$ for there Quads. Once they have your cash your done on your own I never ever reviewed a product badly. This is the first one in my 38 years old that i am. Im no kid. And i know how to solve tech problems but when i cant do anything and it’s because of the company it sucks.

Crappy company. I’ve wasted 2 days trying everything to have my Phantom 2 vision plus FPV work again. I was about to sent it for repair when I started reading all those negative reviews... Damn chance I did’t spent more money on that crap! Does not even worth my one star!!!

No live video feed. FPV worked well for the first few years now there is no FPV but you can record and take pics

Great App. This app is nothing less than fantastic. I use it everytime I fly my Phantom 2 Vision. It gives you all the vital information during the flight and allows the adjustement of the camera. Great! ( it would be nice to have an integrated lens correction built in...)

Update.. Cannot keep a consistent ground station connection since the update.

Don't do latest update. Latest update crashes the app if you try to move camera angle. DJI step up to the plate and fix this bug you provided in the App update.

Don't Download App-CRASHES. I know you are to keep up to date with all the apps especially when it geared to this $1000.00 plus quad. You would think that it would be checked a number of times even beta test before they put it out. I have the same problem as everyone else has. Moving the gamble, or manually moving the camera causes it to crash. This is something you really want when your flying! There's enough crashes with this without this problem. I hope they put out a fix soon, like yesterday. As a result, I didn't want to take a chance so I couldn't do any flying while on vacation......THANKS . Now how long do we wait!

Works. Just wish it could save ground station routes as files that could load to be able to preload a selection of flight paths.

Piece of Junk. I have a phantom 2+ with about 6 hours on it and I've had to send it back for faulty wifi transmitter now that I have it back it won't do anything on my phone even less then before. Great addition to DJI Phantom 2 +. I find that the ability to use the live view of what the camera sees is a great addition to both video and stills. I would not be without it.

Another P2 vision + down.. DJI broke my phantom just as they have 1000s of other pilots. The class action suits are starting. Hopefully they will be held accountable.

DJI PLEASE HELP. Just as everyone else has stated the camera no longer connects to the live feed on the app... I am able to record/take picture onto the SD card but I have NO IDEA what I'm aiming at... I literally am filming in the blind. PLEASE HELP!!! FIX THIS APP!!!

DJI VISION. I also had a perfectly good phantom. I have since tried to bind it with several iPhones and iPads with no results. I was looking at a phantom 4. But I will never purchase another DJI product. I believe this is planned obsolescence. HOWEVER I GOT HOLD OF AN OLD SAMSUNG GALAXY PURE CORE PHONE AND IT BOUND UP INSTANTLY THE FIRST TIME. I HOPE THIS WILL HELP SOME OF YOU GUYS WITH DEAD PHANTOMS.

This app bricks WiFi module. Do not use this app. It will fry your WiFi module. Not a perp from DJI even after hundreds rendered useless.

Need an update to this application ASAP.. The latest version of this app bricked my phantom and there hasn't been any update since. I sent my Phantom to be repaired and they quoted me close to $200 for the service.

Don’t buy DJI!. Dishonorable company! Failed to fix phantom 2 vision connectivity problems caused by an update to the controller. Causes loss of Video and telemetry that forces users to fly blind.

Ready for a class action lawsuit. I have no camera. I purchased my DJI, not to fly but to see from the sky. No camera, purchase is now pointless. DJI is responsible and needs to fix or refund all drones they purposely destroyed.

Killed my Phantom 2 to try to sell me a Phantom 4. DJI are a bunch of crooks and hopefully some day someone will sue them. The software update rendered the Phantom 2 worthless. Almost $1500 down the drain and DJI's only solution is to buy the newer Phantom 4.

No live feed. Where is the up date for live feed? We paid a lot of money for the drone.

Phantom 2 plus camera won't connect. The phantom will startup, I can pan the camera via my iPhone 6 but no live video to the phone!!! Grrrrr June 2018, still can’t get the camera to go live. Huge disappointment!!!! Come on DJI!
